kuroo’s an observant little shit and we love him for that

he always notices when you’re staring at him adoringly, and it’s totally not because he was doing the same thing to you

it’s a well known fact that kuroo’s basically always got an eye on you. he can’t really help it, he just also adores you so much

he loves it when you hug him because he can feel how much you actually care about him, and it makes his heart just feel so warm

boy is absolutely head over heels for you, but he’ll try to play it cool

when you remember some dumb detail about a chemistry fact he told you, be still his heart he might marry you on the spot

he loves how content you are with just his affection. it’s something entirely different from being clingy. it’s appreciating and loving his presence when he’s there, and since he’s busy being a captain and third year, he’s trying his best to pour all his love into those little moments too

you two never verbally acknowledge how much you adore him, it’s just something you both know. through actions and the little things you do to show your love for him, he knows. and it doesn’t go unappreciated

tendou satori

tendou’s a bit put off at first when he catches you staring at him. he’s had a rough time with bullying in his childhood, and he’s worried it’s related to that

but when you confess to him it’s because you actually just adore him and literally everything he does? boy is on cloud nine

not that he’s gonna admit to you how much that means to him though. “well of course you adore me! i’m miracle boy sa! to! ri!”

tendou’s constantly talking, but when you bring up something he randomly threw in a conversation a few weeks ago and ask him how it went, he’s so soft??? like he gets a bit quiet, and looks at you with soft eyes, and is literally like “you... you remembered that?”

you remember the little acts of affection that he likes, like when he’s stressed you’ll run your hands through his hair and massage his scalp

he literally forgot how much he loved that, but somehow you remembered

once he realizes how much you love his affection, it’s over for him. he’s consistently got his arms around your waist, resting his head on your shoulder from behind you

literally had an entire conversation with the team like that once, and when someone finally asked him if he was gonna let go of you he was like “nope. i got lucky with this once. i’m never letting go”

bokuto koutarou

bokuto doesn’t really realize how much you adore him. cause honestly? he adores you just as much, if not more

it takes akaashi talking to him about it for him to realize

“y/n adores me? ME? are you sure????? someone that perfect adores ME?” “yes bokuto. do you not see how y/n looks at you? or remembers really dumb facts about you?” not like akaashi doesn’t do this when he has a list of bokuto’s weaknesses

bokuto literally approaches you with this newfound discovery the next time he sees you

“Y/N DO YOU ADORE ME?” “of course i do bokuto!! who wouldn’t?” he cries. he literally cries.

the excitement you both feel when you see each other for the first time in a while is adorable. you’ve been in classes and haven’t seen each other? congrats you will now both do that dramatic slow motion run into each other’s arms

kuroo sat in the bleachers with you once at a fukurodani game and saw how you looked at bokuto with so much admiration. the look in your eyes and the smile on your face when bokuto went for one of his insane spikes? indescribable

kuroo took a picture of it and sent it to bokuto after the game. it’s now bokuto’s lockscreen

Iwaizumi had forgotten how rowdy his friends are, and one isn't physically present.

He had not seen any of his friends since the wedding and even then he didn't get to see and chat with them very long, he was out of it that day. But here he is on a Friday night, with YN sitting beside him per request of the three dumbasses sitting across from them; Maki and Mattsun with Oikawa on their phone screen, demanding attention like the needy shit he has always been.

He feels you more than he hears you laugh at whatever the others are telling you and he takes a chance to take a peek, as if he hasn't been doing that since you walked out of the room to go out with him.

Your short black skirt that he had already thought was short when you were standing is even shorter now as you sat, it barely covered your ass, leaving your beautiful legs on display for all the perverts. On top of that you wore a skin tight shirt that had a boob window and he has been wanting to punch every creep that keeps on looking at it. He wants to snarl at every single person that makes a double take on her, of course she's beautiful.

She's also too good for anyone out there.

He relaxes as he watches her laugh freely, her cheeks tinted pink, her eyelashes wet from laughing so hard at his friends antics. He decided he should bring her to these reunions from now on, take her out more, she must feel lonely just doing school work and being at home since most of her friends are to engrossed on their future or on their relationships.

"Earth to Iwachan!" He felt someone smack his head, finding the culprit to be a smirking Mattsun, "We get it! You're married and happy, I mean..." Mattsun, Maki and Oikawa all turn to look at YN, "I can blame you, YN has always been the most beautiful woman in our life."

YN, used to their flirty but harmless antics snorts at it, "That's not what I heard when Hajime and I walked in as you fucked that 2nd year cheerleader. What has her name again? Mina?" She smirked at it, making Iwaizumi laugh at the memory. He had been horrified and had accidentally pulled you into the bathroom instead of running outside. Both stuffed uncomfortably in there while hearing Mattsun pound (roughly) into the poor girl until the cheerleader moaned out a 'Daddy' to Mattsun, making you both laugh and interrupted them.

Mattsun laughed at it, "I can still hear you both laughing about it! What's so wrong about having a Daddy kink, huh? YOU KINK SHAMERS!"

"You weren't even close to daddy age, Mattsun!" YN joined Iwaizumi's laughter, leaning against him for support, "You were only 18, what's so 'daddy' about that!?"

Mattsun only huffed at that and Iwaizumi thought that maybe he was angry, the slight scowl on his face as he watched YN grip his bicep as she hid behind him from laughter remained there for a long time afterwards.

YN had just gotten up for the bathroom when his friends sharp glances turned to him. Usually, he would ignore it since it really wasn't their business, but he know from experience that if he keeps on avoiding it, they'll get worse.

Taking a sip from his beer and without sparing a glance to any of them, he gives. "Just spit it out."

It wasn't a surprise that shittykawa was the one to initiate it, "I can't believe YN took your stupid ass in marriage."

He turned to glare at his friend on the screen, "What is that supposed to mean?"

"It means that she could've and SHOULD HAVE gone for someone who is emotionally available and isn't still chasing after his ex."

"I- this marriage is just - it's-"

"It's what?" Mattsun interrupts him, "Convenience? Because she's your friend, so its comfortable? You think that's fair?" He scoffs at Iwaizumi and it makes him feel small, "She's so in love with you and you don't even see it," he points at his, harshly poking his chest, "its so infuriating seeing you chasing after that other bitch when YN has always been right there!" He takes a swing of his drink, obviously irritated with his wedded friend.

"I- its-... she isn't in love with me, we're friends, best friends." What the hell is wrong with his friends? "What the hell is this? Why do any of you care about me and yn? You guys said you were happy about me marrying her!"

"We were, until we saw that you aren't in love with her."

Iwaizumi feels his heart drop at his friends deadpanned expressions. He doesn't regret marrying YN, he just wishes he had done it under normal circumstances.

"I'm trying."

"We know Iwachan," he looks up to see Oikawa giving him a pained smile, "But you need to cut off Jae for good. YN deserves at least that."

"Speaking of the queen of Rome... someone is following her."

Iwaizumi feels his body tense at Mattsun's words, someone is following you? He turns a bit to catch you fast walking towards their table, a worried expression on your face. He can also see the creep walking behind you, eyeing you hungrily.

He doesn't like it.

Once she makes it to the table, all of the boys can see how out of breath she is and wonder just how long she's been trying to avoid him. She sits beside Iwaizumi, meeting no one's eye and soon enough the guy is there with a smirk, "Hey baby, why did you runaway? Come on, ditch these losers and come with me instead."

He has no right, Iwaizumi knows that he has no right to get so mad at this perverts words but he can't help the possessiveness that is pouring out of himself, blinded by rage, he acts on impulse.

Iwaizumi pulls her close to him, seating her casually on his lap and looking square at this randos eye, says, "She's taken, beat it."

When he notices that the other one is about to open his mouth, he cuts him off by kissing her instead.

The last time he had kissed her was while she was drunk and it hadn't felt right to return it since she was very out of it. Now though? Now, they're both pretty sober and in public. His friends are at arms length and he can't find it in himself to give a damn when your lips feel like the softest pillows ever.

He gripped the back of her neck to angle her face and kiss her deeply, he was surprised to feel her kissing him back with the same fervor. She took the hand he had on her knee up to her thigh, which he gripped on immediately and pressed her chest against his, her small hands clutching his shoulders as if her life depended on it.

At the back of his mind, he could hear his friends wolf whistles and a couple of others exclaiming at the way they were making out, but he couldn't find it in himself to care. She was here, she was present and so warm underneath his fingers, her lips following his, her tongue exploring his mouth just as he was with her.

He didn't know for how long they had been kissing, but when he slightly pulled apart, her lips were red and swollen, her eyes sparkled and shined like diamonds underneath the sunlight. She looked adorable and he felt his heart throb painfully in his chest.

"Well... I guess I'm not the only exhibitionist anymore, huh?"

His friends laughed when YN started to blush and the implication that was made. With Iwaizumi still feeling a bit high from what had happened, he pulled her against him close, his grip tight and barked, "Leave her alone, you pervs."

After a few jabs directed to him, they continued as if nothing had happened, though he did catch them stealing glances at him with raised eyebrows, questioning his actions at the passionate kiss he shared with her.

I don't know what's happening either, he thought as he peered down to look at her face, feeling himself blush at how small and comfortable she looked in this lap, in his arms, but I know I'm in trouble.

When they got home later that night, he feels himself feeling hot and bothered by every move you make. You way your hanged your purse at the entrance, the way you shook your hair out of its up do, the way you leaned forward to take of your heels.

He followed you down the hall to your shared room, watching the way your hips moved side to side tantalizingly. His hand itched, he wanted to move closer and glue himself to your back, to hold your waist in one hand as the other guided your head to kiss him, to have the hand on your waist dip down and shove his digits in your panties to find them soaking wet, to hear you sigh out his name "Hajime, please."

"Hajime."

"...Hajime?"

Your solid voice pulled him out of his trance, a blush adorning his face in shame. I need to snap out of it, its too late to be so horny about my best friend. "Yeah mochi?"

"I um..." He noticed they way she was twirling her hair around, a nervous habit she's had since they were kids and wondered what could have her in such a state. "I- urgh, there's no easy way to say it."

She smacked herself in that moment. "Mochi?!"

He would've moved forward, if it wasn't for the solid gaze she had, her shoulders pulled back, full of intent.

"Hajime, I want you to take my virginity."

oikawa’s a little shit. we been knew.

he’s had issues with s/os in the past trying to make him choose between volleyball and dating

but you never gave him that ultimatum. you understood his passion, and that his priorities would be back and forth sometimes

you never doubted how important you were to him, because when he wasn’t playing volleyball, he was making up for the time he’d been gone

so when he misses a date you two had planned one friday night, you’re not surprised

you set up a picnic for the two of you, but after he didn’t show up and wasn’t answering his calls, you shrugged it off, packed up the food, and headed to the one place you knew he would always be: aoba johsai’s gym

when you arrived, oikawa was drenched in sweat, clearly in a bit of knee pain, serving over and over again, trying to perfect what was already perfect

“you know tooru, if you wanna date the volleyball that’s fine. but is it gonna bring you your favorite food after practice?” you announce as you enter the gym, the food from the picnic in hand, smiling at him. your words may seem harsh, but the playful tone of your voice reveals your true emotions

“y/n! oh wait. OH SHIT Y/N I TOTALLY FORGOT I’M SO SORRY--” you cut him off with a kiss

“i know practicing is important, but if you wanna be the best volleyball player there is, you gotta feed your body. so let’s go. we can have the picnic outside. and afterwards if you still wanna practice, i’ll try my best to help”

oikawa looks at you with pure awe in his eyes

he just accidentally stood you up for a date and here you are. offering to help him. with the activity he stood you up for. feeding him the food that you were supposed to eat on the date.

he hugs you tight, apologizing profusely for forgetting the date

“tooru it’s fine! it’s just a date! we’ll have plenty more. you don’t always have tournaments like these”

your understanding would ever cease to amaze him

the two of you had met through, of course, bokuto, when he decided to host a few friends for a hangout

kuroo was immediately smitten with you, seeing how both of you endlessly teased the fukurodani captain

you guys spend a lot of time hanging out, however it was always accompanied by bokuto and his boundless amounts of energy

kuroo knew he wanted to change things, but for someone he cared about as much as you, he had to make a statement

you weren’t necessarily shocked to see kuroo walk into a fukurodani practice, but you were a bit surprised

this intensified when he walked right past the court and his owl headed friend straight towards you

“oh hey kuroo! did you wanna join in practice? i’m sure bokuto would love to practice spiking against you”

“actually y/n, i’m here to see you”

at this point, the entire team caught wind of what was happening, turning their attention to see what would unfold between their manager and nekoma’s captain

“y/n, i like you. plain and simple. so if you feel the same, would you wanna go out?”

you of course agree, hugging him tightly

“hey rooster head! you better not be trying to steal our manager!”

“no way man. someone other than akaashi has to keep your ass in line”

you and bokuto met by chance through mutual friends, and you immediately had some sort of special connection

he had told you he’d be busy for a week, coincidentally the week your school was hosting a training camp, you didn’t think much of it

until you saw bokuto walk into nekoma’s gym

“OI KUROO! YOU KNOW Y/N???” “y/n’s our manager dumbass”

he was shook to say the least

kuroo could see the change in his friend whenever he was around you, his catlike eyes narrowing as he came up with a plan to get you two together

during a late night practice, he decided to bring it up

“bokuto, just confess to y/n already. it’s kind of sad to watch” “HEY-- wait you think y/n would say yes?”

boy went from slightly nervous to so excited they literally had to stop him from busting in where all the managers were staying

bokuto has the patience of a 3 year old. so basically none. as soon as he saw you the next day, he went right up to you and decided to confess. in front of the whole training camp

“Y/N. I really like you A LOT. like, MORE THAN A FRIEND. we would be GREAT together.” he quickly turns and flashes a thumbs up to akaashi, who really wishes anyone else was his best friend right now

but seeing how happy bokuto was when you accepted was something else. his joy was infectious, and people couldn’t help but look on with smiles on their faces

that is, however, until he tries to convince you to become fukurodani’s manager so “every practice can be a date too!”

ushijima wakatoshi

as someone who is not only good friends with oikawa, but is actually the manager of aoba johsai’s volleyball team, to say it’s strange for you to be close with ushijima is an understatement

it’s something, despite his perceptiveness, oikawa isn’t actually aware of

part of you wants to keep it that way, and the other part of you wants something more from your relationship with the famed ace of shiratorizawa

in some weird twist of fate, shiratorizawa’s team had ended up at seijoh for a practice match, something that oikawa had been steaming over since it was announced

not only to have a match of this proportion, but to have the entire team at their school for almost a whole day? it was gonna be tense

things took an interesting turn at your lunchtime when ushijima decided to come up to the table you, oikawa, and iwaizumi were sitting at

“well well well, did ushiwaka really come all this way to talk to me?” oikawa was characteristically smug, but this quickly faltered with ushijima’s response

“actually, i’m here to talk to y/n”

iwa literally spit out the water he was sipping

“y/n, we both know expressing my emotions isn’t my strong point. but i wanted to do this at your school, in front of your friends. i like you. would you be willing to go on a date with me?”

you smiled at him as you nodded and proceeded to hug him

oikawa’s brain definitely short circuited. how had you been in communication with the ENEMY this whole time???? iwa was laughing so hard he almost pissed himself

well, if you and ushiwaka were gonna date, oikawa figured he better stop referring to him as the enemy. in front of you, anyways

you ask to practice with kuroo one day, cause you wanna be helpful when he needs to get ready for games

he agrees, and depending on your skill level he’ll start you with basics or work to improve on what you already know

when it gets to blocking, he gets a bit cocky

“you know you’re learning about blocking from the best blocker in japan, right” “then how do bokuto’s shots still get past you? huh tetsu?”

his training is a good mix of you two goofing around and actually working on improving necessary skills

he can definitely be a showoff when it comes to, so when he thinks you’re ready, he’ll let you try to block one of his spikes

he even gets kenma to agree to set for him just once

kuroo hits the ball, but you jump a bit too late

WHAM right to the face

you fall back onto the gym floor, holding your face

“OH MY GOD” “kuroo you broke your s/o” “KENMA SHUT UP GET HELP CALL AN AMBULANCE”

he’s usually a composed chill dude. except now. he’s freaking OUT, alternating between checking on you and franticly pacing

kenma actually helps you, getting you ice for your face

you look up kuroo, who’s now kneeling down in front of you, examining your face for the thousandth time

suddenly, you just burst out laughing

“kuroo did you concuss y/n” “oh my god y/n please don’t break up with me oh my god i’m so sorry”

“so much for being taught by the best blocker in japan”

he’s a bit wary about letting you on the court from then on

he’ll still train you and practice with you a few days after the face incident, but you don’t really get to block anymore. and you only get to play with people he trusts

so basically you never get to play a game with lev

you’ve even helped him with some of the repressed issues from his childhood surrounding his brother. he’s eternally grateful to you

he appreciates how you act as the therapist friend, but he tries to leave you subtle reminders that you need to take time for yourself too

sometimes he can be a bit blunt about how he thinks your friends should be able to take care of certain issues themselves, but he’s really just looking out for you

he’s gotten to the point where he knows what you need without you having to ask for help, but he’ll point out to you that you need to start taking care of yourself

“you know y/n, if all your friends can ask for help, why can’t you just ask me for this?” he’s not mad at you or anything, he just wants to see you healthy

all in all, he just loves how passionate you are about helping friends. it’s one of the reasons he loves you

tendou doesn’t notice at first, but he isn’t oblivious to your lack of self care either

he knows that you’re reaching a tipping point, but doesn’t exactly know what to do about it

when he realizes you don’t really have someone to turn to the way your friends turn to you, he makes it his mission to become that person

he asks so many questions about the issues you help your friends with and the advice you give, and at first you think he’s just being super nosy

until you express a certain issue you’re having, and he gives you advice. advice that is incredibly similar to advice you gave to a friend

“satori, did you... did you pay attention to how i give advice so that you could give advice to me?”

“yeah i did, thanks for noticing y/n!! i even made notes on my phone, wanna see?”

you started keeping some bobby pins and hair ties on hand just so you can style kenma’s hair whenever you hang out

he never wears it that way in public though. you always take it out before you leave

you were sitting in the stands one day before a particularly important nekoma game, and you noticed kenma fiddling with his hair more than usual

you make your way down to the bench from your place in the stands, calling out kenma’s name and motioning for him to join you

“sit down for a second”

he does so without a second thought, and you get to work pinning his hair back

“wha-” “i noticed you were messing with your hair. you’re nervous. but you’re the best setter i’ve ever met, kenma. you’ve got this”

he heads back over to the team, his hair pinned back securely with some bobby pins

okay so i currently have playing acnh with kenma in my drafts so i thought i’d do something a little different for this one hehe. it’s kinda inspired by what mo and i have been doing whenever we visit each other’s islands

“Kenmaaaaa hurry up” you whined.

“I need to get these fossils today before I head over to your island,” he responds, not looking up from his Switch.

“Just get them later!!! You said we’d hang out on my island.” He looks up at the camera as you pout at him. He sighs in response, but you know he isn’t annoyed with you. You two were both stuck at home all day, so you came up with the great idea of having a date in animal crossing. You two were Facetiming, talking to each other while playing together as well.

As you got the notification that Kenma was coming to your island, you were in shock at what he was wearing. It was the outfit you had designed for him.

“Awww Kenma that’s the hoodie I made for you!!” He quietly responds with a “yeah, it is” but you can see him blushing. He’s not good at verbalizing it, but he really does appreciate and care for you.

As you two make idle chitchat over the phone, you notice him making his way around your island, making a little field of flowers.

“What are you doing Kenma?” you ask, watching his villager plant flower after flower.

“Your island is lacking flowers. So I thought I’d plant some for you.”

“That’s really sweet thank--” “Your island should be as pretty as you.” And now you’re blushing.

You two end up just joking around, making cute designs for each other and building items that add some creativity to your island. All in all, it’s one of the sweetest dates you’ve ever been on. You know he tries to show his appreciation for you, and you really see it when you two are playing video games together. And you’re so, so grateful for him.

you and daichi had been planning for this exam from the moment you heard about it

you both spent your time creating a study guide together, adding notes from class as they came up

you made flashcards, quizlets, literally everything

when you were about a week out from the exam, any time spent together was just for studying. sure there would be cuddling, kisses as rewards for getting questions right, but the main focus was studying

you two both had your own strengths and different sections you understood more than others, so you combined this to create a study guide so detailed that it was several, several pages long

whenever one was nervous about it, the other would be there to provide support, reminding the other of how much work you had already put into everything

when the day of the exam came, you and daichi held hands before ending the classroom together, smiling at each other

not only did you spend some quality time together studying, but you two were ready to crush this test

afterwards, you both went out to get some food after school as a reward for working so hard in the first place

and when the results came back? and both your scores were amazing?

you two were both ECSTATIC

for the record i’m also a huge smash nerd as it’s the first video game i ever played and i think i learned how to play at like 3 or 4? anyways where my marth or corrin mains at (zelda mains acceptable too)

it started as a simple, fun game night

you and yuuji decided to hang out and just play super smash bros, super fun and stress relieving right?

as it became very clear that you two were evenly matched, with the winner of each round alternating consistently, terushima looked over at you with a sly smirk

“yuuji whatever it is you’re plotting, don’t.”

“let’s make a bet y/n. best of 5 rounds. tournament rules, so 3 stock. winner gets whatever they want from the loser. do we have a deal?”

“you have a deal. just don’t beg for mercy when i kick your ass”

you two start out still joking around a lot more than usual. he picks pichu as a joke, and you pick kirby, taking it a bit more seriously than he does

you two are tied at two wins each, terushima’s two wins coming solely from picking bowser and body slamming you off the edge when he still had one more stock than you

the final round was an intense one. marth vs game and watch.

you were both down to one stock, damage high. you both knew the game the other was playing

him trying to land a judge 9, you trying to counter perfectly to send it back at him, it was a never ending struggle of getting up close to attack and immediately backing up

that was until, terushima called your name out, whining “y/nnn let’s just call it a truce”

you saw through his trick, hand still on the controller slowly moving his character towards you

“nice try yuuji but--” he cuts you off with a kiss, and as he does, performs a perfect side b, your mind too preoccupied with his lips on yours to counter

he pulls apart as the announcer exclaims game and watch’s win

“i win”

so you don’t get a chance to see him before the show, but you text him wishing him good luck and he just sends back a bunch of heart emojis

semi’s one of those idols that’s like, dead serious on stage. he’s 150% in the zone

but when he sees you in the crowd, singing along with him he can’t help the goofy smile on his face

he sees you dancing along with the choreography he taught you when he was learning the songs and he literally laughs. the entire audience can feel how much energy he has and how he’s giving everything in his performance

as the show nears its end, he shares his appreciation with the crowd for them being there and supporting him

he stops for a second and smiles at you, turning again to the audience and saying “thank you most of all to y/n, my biggest supporter and my inspiration”

the entire audience awes and cheers for you two as you smile back at him

after the concert, you make your way backstage and immediately rush into his arms, despite him being covered in sweat

“eita you did so well!! your voice sounded amazing!!” you then proceed to tell him all your favorite parts of the concert, from your favorite outfits to favorite songs and dances

to semi, you and performing are his two loves. and he wouldn’t trade either of you for the world
