Class 1-A PowerPoint Night
A PowerPoint night is when a friend group all make PowerPoints on random topics and present them to each other in case anyone doesn’t know. This is what I think all of class 1-A would do.
Yuga Aoyama makes a PowerPoint explaining french slang terms that he thinks the entire class should start using
Mina Ashido makes a PowerPoint rating everyone’s families. Points are awarded based on presence of both parents, how well each student gets on with their parents, whether they have siblings (younger siblings get less points than older ones) and how much she personally likes their family members.
Tenya Iida makes a PowerPoint on how to revise for their upcoming exam, complete with diagrams and information about the psychology of learning. The class feel like they’re in a lecture.
Tsuyu Asui makes a PowerPoint where she turns things the class has said into Pinterest-style inspirational quotes and they have to try and guess who said what.
Ochaco Uraraka makes a PowerPoint on tips to save money, because you cant tell me some of the people in this class buy useless things they either lose, forget about, or have no idea what to do with.
Mashirao Ojiro makes a PowerPoint of things he does not understand. It features things such as the existence of languages, barcodes, and credit cards.
Denki Kaminari makes a PowerPoint called ‘Crying Wrapped’, which details the reasons he has cried over the least year, which months he cried the most and the least in, and rates his top 5 cries with little explanation
Eijiro Kirishima makes a PowerPoint called ‘things I’ve seen at the gym that just make sense’. Some of them have pictures to go along with them, and Ochaco and Katsuki nod along and say ‘I remember that’ to every other slide.
Koji Koda made a PowerPoint on why Aizawa should let them have a class pet. The PowerPoint actually had good reasoning so they emailed it to Aizawa, who only responded ‘no.’ And did not elaborate.
Rikido Sato makes a PowerPoint assigning each classmate a type of cake. He lists the reasons, the ingredients, and has a nice message for each member of the class on the slide with their cake
Mezo Shoji makes a PowerPoint about how Tokoyami is Not Real. Enough said.
Kyouka Jiro makes a PowerPoint detailing the soundtrack she would put together if their life was a movie, complete with photos and video clips of stuff they’ve done to go along with each moment she assigns a song to.
Hanta Sero makes a PowerPoint called ‘Canada is not real’, and it lists all the reasons why he believes Canada is made up. Shoto is nodding along and finds it very thought-provoking
Fumikage Tokoyami makes a PowerPoint analysing everyone’s entire zodiac charts. Kirishima is shocked to find out there’s more than just the sun sign. They also give everyone their horoscopes for the next month.
Shoto Todoroki makes a PowerPoint on conspiracy theories that he actually believes. They’re all completely insane but he does end up convincing some members of the class by the end.
Toru Hagakure makes a PowerPoint on Disney Men and whether or not she would trust them with her drink with little to no explanation. All the girls agree with her ratings.
Katsuki Bakugo makes a PowerPoint rating each of the barbie movies based on whether or not he could beat the protagonist in a fight. The class is shocked to find out that Katsuki does believe he would lose to some of the barbies.
Izuku Midoryia makes a PowerPoint analysing the class’s fighting techniques and their strengths and weaknesses as heroes, using all the notes he’s written about each of them in his notebooks. Additionally, he assigns everyone in the class a current pro hero that they’re most similar to.
Minoru Mineta makes a PowerPoint rating the girls in every class of their year group and is not allowed to present it.
Momo Yaoyorozu makes a PowerPoint assigning each classmate a different kind of tea, complete with the benefits of each flavour and why she would give it to them. She also includes the prices and the best places to buy them.

There was no one who did not know about the Killing School Life; a killing game orchestrated by Junko Enoshima to make the former 78th class of Hope's Peak Academy kill each other. It's purpose was to broadcast the horrible murders to the world at large to further fill the people's hearts with despair. But now, the game was finally over. Thanks to the resiliance and hope shining from one Makoto Naegi, Junko had fallen by the rules of her own creation. Her execution marked the beginning of the end for this despair-infected world. Finally, hope could begin to grow inside the people's hearts, now that the one responsible for this tragedy is gone.
The six survivors of the killing school life have finally managed to open the door leading to the outside world. Now, the Future Foundation await them on the other side, ready to accept them into their ranks with open arms. The doors opened, and there they stood. Their faces all quickly shifted to surprised, clearly not expecting to have people waiting for them. Kyosuke was the first to approach the shocked 'students'.
"Greetings, survivors of the killing game. My name is Kyosuke Munakata, former Ultimate Student Council President, and currently the vice-leader of an organisation called the Future Foundation. We are here to assist you in recovering your lost memories and re-adjusting to the outside world. You have my sincerest apologies for being unable to save you from the hands of Junko Enoshima. Rest assured that we will do anything in our power to make up for our short-comings." He finished with a deep bow.
"The Future Foundation, is it? I question your competency if you couldn't even open a measly little door. And why, may I ask, is the vice-leader greeting us instead of the actual leader? Are they too ashamed to meet us personally?" The young man didn't mince his words, his displeasure at the organisation clear. "Togami-kun, that's a bit mean... They came all this way to help us, you could be a LITTLE more grateful."
"M-m-master is right! Y-you guys totally suck! C-c-couldn't you have done s-something at least!? God, t-talk about useless!" A dissheveled young woman yelled out, pointing her finger at Kyosuke accusingly. "Calm down, both of you. You can voice your displeasures all you want later. For now, let's go along with these 'Future Foundation' guys. It's in our best interest to make as many allies as possible right now." Her voice was steady. She was clearly used to dealing with these people. "I agree with Kyoko-chan! You all need calm down! They're here to help us, so don't be so rude!"
"Uuuh, but how can we be sure we can trust these guys? I mean, they just happen to be outside waiting for us? There's no way I'll trust that! How would they ever know we were about to leave?!" A much older looking man burst out, looking agitated and apprehensive at the prospect of complying with these strangers. "...Um, Hagakure-kun? You do remember that the killing game was broadcasted, right? They probably watched the broadcast and saw that we were heading out..."
"...Oh, right. I completely forgot about that."
"How in the world could you forget that...? YOU were the one to discover that fact to begin with!" They started to bicker between themselves and seemed to have forgotten all about the people around them. Chiaki decided to remind them. "...Hey hey, I'm happy to see you get along and all, but we should probably get going. There's no reason for us to just stand here all day, right? So, let's head back to base so you guys can all get some well-deserved rest... I think."
"Oh! Right, thank you. Sorry, looks like we've gotten into the habit of arguing amongst ourselves haha..." The soft-looking boy -Chiaki guessed this must be Makoto- looked sheepish at having gotten distracted. "All right, let's head off then! Honestly, I'm looking forward to seeing places that isn't the same old school all the time."
"I, personally, am looking forward to having our memories recovered. There are still mysteries regarding the situation that I am unable to solve. I'm hoping that regaining our lost memories will provide me with some more clues." The woman went to stand besides Makoto as she looked straight at Kyosuke. "Kyosuke Munakata, was it? You probably know this already, but I am Kyoko Kirigiri, the... I suppose it would be 'former' Ultimate Detective at his point. I am looking forward to working alongside you. And everyone else, of course." She crossed her arms and gave an acknowledging nod to the people.
"...Ah, and I'm Makoto Naegi! The, um, 'former' Ultimate Lucky Student. I hope we can get along, Munakata-kun!" Makoto gave an awkward salute and introduced himself. "My name is Aoi Asahina! I'm the, uh... 'former'? Ultimate Swimming pro!"
"Do I even need to introduce myself? You already know who I am, don't you?"
"Can't you just do it, Togami-kun?"
"...Fine. My name is Byakuya Togami. The 'former' Ultimate Affluent Progeny. There, happy now?"
"Yes, very!"
"I-I'm Toko Fukawa, the former Ultimate Writing Prodigy... N-not that YOU care..."
"And uh, I'm Yasuhiro Hagakure! The Ultimate Clairvoyant."
"It's 'former' Ultimate, Hagakure-kun..."
"What's the difference?"
I'm glad... They seem to be doing well. Chiaki smiled at their antics.

Tags: Valentine's Day, fluff, bakugou x fem!reader
To comfort all those who are single on this cursed day
Bakugou isn't much of a romantic. After all, he's busy, you're busy, so the chances of him doing something grand or huge is completely off the table.
And yet here he is.
No, it's not because he overhears you gushing with the other girls over something that damn nerd did for Uraraka. It wasn't because of that damn nerd one-upping him or Uraraka being too obliviously happy.
It was because of your eyes that made him do a doubletake.
"So that's why you were out for so long!" Mina squeals, as the rest of the girls huddle around Uraraka like she was getting fucking married.
"He took you to that owl cafe? the one that you've always wanted to go to?" Hagakure inquired excitedly.
"And he got you roses and a big batch of chocolates from that brand you like?" Jiro confirmed.
"You're such a lucky girl, Ochako!" You gushed as the girls partook in another round of squeals and giggles.
Bakugou stares at you unwaveringly, suddenly forgetting why he was in the damn kitchen in the first place the minute he hears your hoarse laugh.
"It's not my fault my schedule doesn't line up so nicely with these damn festivals," Bakugou mutters to himself, staring down at his cup of hot cocoa. he realised it was about to overflow and hastily slammed the kettle down in its home spot.
Deku got lucky, he justifies, cursing himself internally for getting distracted. Tomorrow's a weekend. He'll do something then.
Karma repays him with another round of guilt-tripping laughter, and it makes him look back at where you're sat on the couch, eyes pooling with unsaid envy. Bakugou almost breaks the glass in his hand.
Fuck it.
He transfers the hot cocoa into a thermal and grabs a spare picnic blanket from the cabinet, tossing it over his shoulder as he stomps his way out of the kitchen and over to you.
"C'mere you," he throws you over his shoulder and hauls you away, ignoring your surprised stutters and useless failings.
"Where are we even going Katsuki?!" You yell at him as the girls watch you get dragged out of the dorm rooms and into the dead of the night. "Isn't it past Bakugou's usual bedtime-?"
"I FUCKING HEARD THAT PINKY!"
---
"I didn't even get to change, Asshole," You complain, rubbing your wrist the minute Bakugou let you go. "Why did you bring me into the middle of nowhere past curfew-"
"Look around, Dumbass."
This was a spot he found after going for a walk through these trees. After one of his worse nightmares, he got up and tracked through the greenery to calm down.
Stumbling across this place was one of the best coincidences in his life. Bakugou spreads out the picnic blanket he brought along, flicking his wrists once, then twice as he hears you gasp beside him.
"I come here often when I need some quiet time to myself." He mumbles, plopping down on the ground. "Those extras always invade my room when I want privacy."
There's an opening at the place you're sitting, an opening in the canopy of the lush green trees to make way for the shining stars.
It just so happens that the sky was clear tonight.
"Hot cocoa," He announces, passing the flask to you without meeting your eyes. He couldn't, not with this heat crawling up his cheeks. You take the flask from him, gaze softening. He doesn't even need to look at you to know that you've got him all figured out. You're too smart.
"Is that what this is about? What the girls and I were discussing about earlier?"
"Fuck, no!" Bakugou replied. Crap. That was too fast. That was too obvious.
You quirk an eyebrow, raising the flask to your lips.
There's silence between the both of you because Bakugou knows you've identified his lie. There are no words as to not damage his pride. You just sit there and drink his hot chocolate understandingly, waiting for him to make the next move.
Bakugou runs his hand through his hair, ruby red eyes finally meeting yours. "I've been wanting to show this place to you," He admits. There's a shift in his aura that you notice. It's as if he's letting his guard fall as his once raspy shouting turns to soft, hoarse confessions of how he really feels.
"Just never found the time to."
Your heart clenches at that sentence. The both of you were so caught up with internships and homework and revision that it felt as if your relationship didn't exist. Maybe that's why your heart felt a little empty today.
It had completely slipped your mind, but the minute Uraraka started talking it'd reminded you...
Today's Valentine's Day.
And you didn't even do...anything.
No gifts, no flowers, no chocolates...not even a kiss.
Nothing.
All your presents for your boyfriend had been quarantined in your room because you never had the chance to give them to him.
Judging by his face, this was a last-minute plan as well.
"Happy Valentine's Day," You whisper, face breaking into a soft smile at Bakugou's flushed cheeks. "Thank you, Katsuki. For making my day."
Bakugou couldn't help but shake his head. Even with this makeshift plan, you were still so grateful for what little time you have left today.
"I don't deserve you," Bakugou rasped, intertwining his fingers with yours. "I'm so sorry, Y/n."
"It's fine, Katsuki-."
"No it's fucking not." He cuts you off. His eyes cut through yours, "Next year's gonna be different, got me? I'll buy the whole ass chocolate factory if you ask me to."
You burst into a fit of giggles at that, lying down on the blanket and staring up at the stars. "Thank you, Katsuki," You repeat, tightening your fingers around his.
"Happy Valentine's Day, Y/n." He mutters, staring up at the sky with you.
The very next day, you find a beautiful bouquet of orange roses and a box of handmade chocolate waiting right outside your door. The note on it says it all:
I love you, Dumbass.

why do you think izuku placed dead last in the quirk assessment test? he's been shown stong enough to deadlift all might without a quirk. he's like peak physical fitness. shouldn't he have placed higher even quirkless? definitely higher than jirou, koda, kaminari, and hagakure who lack physical strength and whose quirks would be useless throughout the test. did aizawa sabatoge him??
Oh I just KNOW without a doubt that Aizawa sabotaged the scores!
It was all just to force the underdog narrative down our throats when we know he should've placed higher, even with the injured finger he should still be able to do well.
Aizawa has openly expressed that he hates Izuku for no reason other than his quirk, assuming things about him that aren't true yet barely bats an eye when Bakugou rushes to attack.
You know, for a man that claims to be logical, he sure is stupid and quick to make assumptions about people he barely knew and stick with it. And it's even more frustrating when no one calls him out on it or try to correct him about it.
I wish All Might would get onto him about how he treats these kids and not back down when Aizawa tries to say he's playing favorites, because we know he does the exact same thing with Shinsou.

To Me
Word Count: 2037
Setting: reader pairing, Neito Monoma x gn!reader (oni, kijo quirk), SFW
Content Warning(s): none 🪄
Summary: your horns have always been a sore topic for you, and during one of Neito's many (onesided) spats with Class 1-A, he is met with the reality that, he really doesn't know how to help.
A/N: really, this isn't very good, but oh the well! Just a small trial-run short.
[not my art, credit goes to the artist!]
Tumblr media
It was the distinct flick of his wrists, pointer fingers flexed from both of his left and right hands. The curl of the remainder fingers, pressed against his ears, fingers upright. The knowing glare Bakugo directed at you.
The classes had been gathered for a joint activity. One which was intended to be conducted under both instructors from U.A. Although it wasn’t as though Kan-sensei was known for his objective stance when the two classes were to compete, often times his favoritism rang clear even at moments in which subtilty was required. In his desire to encourage his students, fairness often escaped his enthusiasm. Today was such day, his boisterous nature far too distracted with expressing how far as a Class 1-B had advanced since Aizawa-sensei had last observed you. The prides of instructor leaving him completely ignorant to his smaller body double; Monoma had started the gathering off assembly of classes off on a rather audacious note. Not that any of your classmates were surprised, Kendo looked especially exasperated to the blonde’s antics. Tired from having stayed up late studying, her movements were slow, taking longer than normal to process that once again, the quirk impersonator had thrown down the gauntlet between classes without so much as consideration for those he had looped into the confrontation. His scorn drawing the attention of both classes despite the conversations that had otherwise been enjoyable. Yanagi who had been enjoying her counterparts in 1-A, Shoji and Koda, had her face drawn, eyes blank and focused, witnessing a moment she would express as his stupidity at work. Monoma’s abrasive behaviors had drawn Awase away from Yaoyorzu, still unwilling to admit how excited he had been to see her once again. Determined to dodge any unnecessary teasing from his peers, or tipping off his growing affections. Tsunotori and Hagakure who had been giggling amongst themselves, had silenced their jovial conversation. The growing unease evident on their faces, the oblivious rage that Monoma inspired within Class 1-A’s number one trigger-happy time bomb was apparent. The agitation was rolling in waves potent enough to set off a buried weight pressure explosive. The Copycat user had drawn obvious, blistering annoyance from the emitter. The veins in his forehead beginning to pop as his eyes widened. Bakugo’s seething beginning to boil over. Monoma’s insistence to continue spatting insults despite Kaibara’s insistence to cease fire. The boy’s cautionary reminders falling on deaf ears, far too delighted in Bakugo’s growing temper. The nervous tilt of Kirishima’s hands, beckoning his friend to remain calm, and dismiss the obvious instigator, was as useless as that of Kaibara’s.
The explosive nature of the quirk user Monoma had set his sights on, the easy target he always prayed upon, reminiscent of the school sports festival. That day despite having placed first, Bakugo was practically foaming at the mouth, snapping his teeth a lot like h was in this moment, but this time directed at Monoma. The realization had drawn you forward, nervously forcing a smile and doing your best to distract your classmate. For all of your time together, you were familiar with Neito’s mannerism, outside of his interactions with Class 1-A. His overall nature was in fact, laid back, and playful, but every time he was gifted the opportunity to wreck havoc with the other class, his impulsive nature override his senses. Drew out his competitive, and argumentative side, and in truth, apart of you were well aware that it was a strategy ploy he had utilized. Sure, in the event Bakugo’s temper bested him, a brief moment of physical contact would be all Neito needed to utilize it in the sparring match to come, but with how far he had pushed this time, you were worried he may not make it to the one-on-one.
“M-Monoma,” you gently probed. Attempting to use a softer voice as not to draw Bakugo’s ire. The shift of periwinkle blue eyes. Piercing, and gravitating towards your frame, captivating your silhouette. The draw of his eyebrow, over confident. Cocky in the way his smirk met his lips, the plaster of a false smile. One intended to be reassuring that he was in fact not biting off more than he could chew—did the exact opposite. The small twitch of the forced expression, drawing your eyebrows forward, doing your best to talk him down from the edge, and that’s when you saw it.
Bakugo’s annoyance, only slightly cooled by Kirishima’s assurance had drove him to childish gestures behind Monoma’s back. Sticking his tongue out, tugging at his eyelid. The immature display of dissatisfaction almost comical, until his eyes had met with your won. The scowl drawn, as quick as his reflex. His fingers meeting at the top of his forehead. Oni.
Distant memories dropped your shoulders. The taunt, while absolutely ridiculous had drawn forth echoes of a past you had wished would leave you. Dipped in to your cache of information, and left the tremble of your lip. Eyes averted to the ground as you did your best to train your expression. A forced smile that had been well practiced throughout your childhood, all too aware of the faint breeze of hydrangea blooms following your reaction. Quick to mumble an excuse to leave the classroom, expressed that you had forgotten a crucial part of your hero costume in the classroom, and ensured Kan-sensei you would return as quickly as possible—you were a valuable role in stomping Class 1-A’s reputation into the ground, reminded you of the drills you would run if you skipped the skirmish, but for once, you did not care.
Tumblr media
All he could hear was Kendo yelling in his ear, the telling sting at the nap of his neck. The bitterness ebbing at his mind, the tug of his collar. His periwinkle eyes blurry from the direct hit, the small ebb of a burn festering near his cheek where he had barely managed to dodge. Able to make out the slightest of outlines, but was unable to determine what noise was eliciting from the obvious rabid porcupine. Bakugo thrashed about, still sending off a number of curses flaring, drenched in smoke. Aizawa-sensei having suspended his quirk, Kirishima and Izuku doing his best to qualm his aggression. A flurry of movements that met the ringing in his ears, a light burn marred to the opposite cheek of his own, only adding to Bakugo’s rage. Neito understood the position he had placed himself in, Kan-sensei at Aizawa-sensei’s side, looking less than pleased.  The distinct lecture of his classmate as she dragged him from the classroom. The first opportunity Kan-sensei would seize would be eventful; the drills he would run, the potential smack here and there. He suspected Kan-sensei may ebb him into an offense match one derived of improving his lacking skills, only slightly enjoying the opportunity to smack him around, or he would willingly place Kendo on a one on one with him. She certainly had no qualms with tossing him around a bit. His classmates would be exasperated with his display, and you… you would probably be disappointed when you found out. In fact, he suspected you would even avoid him for a bit, the last time one of his comments had strayed too far, you had opted for lunches with Kodai in seclusion.
But he had seen your response. The quiver of your lip, the dip of your eyes; the smallest twitch of your eyebrows and wiggle of your nose. The grit of your teeth as you forced back tears, coercing a smile in place. Well trained, strained at that. He had noticed it a few times, when your overall smile and tender temperament would sway. Overall, you were one of the most optimistic students in their class, soft in your approaches. The softest of smiles, a little quiet at times sure, but in small moments when you thought no one was watching, he had noticed the worry in your eyes. The way you would avert your gaze. The tug of your sleeves before securing the drawstrings of your hoodie. The way your class had taken a patrol excursion with the intent on working on their interactions with civilians, you had expressed obvious discomfort. Forced a smile and continued the lesson until you had noticed a small child drop their stuff animal. Quick to respond, and return the well loved item back to its owner, the obvious startle of the child had shocked the both of you. Dropped the little one’s toy, backing away as quickly as you could. Monoma had attempted to sooth the child, reassure that you were one of the good guys, but you would only apologize to both the child and the parent for disrupting their day. A forced smile, and refusing to acknowledge any questions Neito had pressed. Not that he had pushed much. Knew that he shouldn’t. The first day of school, you had attempted to wear a cap in class. Dismayed by Kan-sensei’s disapproval, reminding you of the school dress code of conduct. You had trembled through introductions, fidgeting with your bangs to better high the small nubs at the height of your brow. Your obvious horror when you were suggested as a potential candidate for the U.A. School Festival’s beauty pageant. The red of your face, shamed wide eyes, and quick to shield your face between fingers—no, you hadn’t attempted to safe guard your appearance. Rather the small blossom of cornets at your brow. Your firm stance on Kendo being the only applicant for Class 1-B’s submission. Then, there was the day he had caught you in the morning classroom.
The stillness of the room, quiet with the lack of students. The early hours since moving into the dorms had left you unsettled, all of your class had noticed it, but had come to the understanding that approaching you directly often made you skittish, and shifted the mood of the group. So, they had elected to give you space, time to come around. To adjust to whatever burden you had been carrying, even if it was difficult. That morning, Kan-sensei had sentenced him to arriving early, annoyed that his grades had dipped. Deep cleaning the erasers after having ran a few miles should put him into place. it did not. Neito had not considered that anyone else would have been awake at that unholy hour. Let alone find you, sitting at your desk. The light of day flittering through the small windows, the nervous settle of your bag. The meticulous tuck of your papers, aligning everything well, and when you hadn’t realized he was there. The slump of your back, the mirror betwee two fingers. Sad eyes that appraised your reflection, shuffled your bangs to and fro, the scowl deepening on you face before placing the mirror reflections side down. Your fingers, clasping your eyes, leaned forward. The small quiver of your shoulders as you willed yourself to breathe. To paint upon the smile that had greeted him every day.
No, as far as Neito was concerned, regardless of the punishment that would come his way, or the disapproval he would be met with, he had little remorse for his actions. In fact, he had a bit of gratification despite the lecture Kendo was issuing. His fighting style was never one for blatant offense, especially a head on approach, and with Bakugo’s rage dulling his senses, Neito had managed a slight of hand. One quick enough to equip the other student’s quirk, and land a direct hit, although it did come at the cost of the snarling psycho’s adept ability to rebound. My face hurts, he thought to himself as his footsteps echoed down the hallway.  Kendo had rightfully exiled him, her last remark leaving more of a sear than Bakugo’s blow. In all the times she had laid into him, whether verbally, or even on the times he had physically put him in his place, nothing had ever stung as much as her observation. The blatant way she had bridged the subject, the pointed look. Her words still resting against him. If you had cared about {YN] you would have followed her. He had let his own temper get the btter of him, set himself in a mock villain match off with the rabid hedgehog, and essentially marked himself for an ass kicking later…
                And had left you alone.
Tumblr media
Nestled between the small touch of storage cabinets near the costume storage, you had drawn your knees up to your chest. Attempted to catch the tears that betrayed your inner world. Whispered the realities of a past of hurtful remarks. Intended or not. The days you had spent in your childhood, desperately wanting a friend. Someone to play with, your peers quick to avoid your interactions. Your appearance the recollection of demons in fairytales. The small nubs that rested at your brow, quick to elicit unease regardless of how you had smiled, or how gently you had approached potential play mates. As though you were truly the bringer of plagues, the Harvenger of death such as the oni in fairytales. The days of clear avoidance, nervousness as though you may curse their existence; other days spent with lunchroom food smeared across your face. Rice crumpled to your hair, students demanding you leave their school. Others that taunted, demanded to know if even the smallest infringement upon their day was a result of a kijo’s curse. Your please and cries falling upon deaf ears, unwilling to listen to reason. The day when your quirk had fully activated, drawing to more than just your outward appearance. You had unintentionally flipped a swing set; you had just wanted to play. Even if it was by yourself, it had never been your intention to leave the equipment in ruin, nor to terrify the other small children. Their screams echoed in your ear as though you were little more than a feral dog.
You had stopped going to the playground that day.
                Had forced a smile.
But today, all you could do was cry, press your eyes into yoru knees, unable to fully conceal your appearance. The stupid points of your horns unwilling to nestle against your knees. The rough sob of your tears rolling off, shamed by your own appearance. You understood—it’s not that Bakugo had specifically targeted you. His harm was directed really towards any extra, but… it hurt. To be the oni freak. To be the Kijo who’s being was curse. A plague to others.
This is where he had found you. Coiled up under the guise of searching for a part for your hero costume. A ridiculous excuse, your outfit had little bells and whistles, more revealing of your will to go unnoticed than anything else. How had Kan-sensei made it to the top instructor all these years? The obvious heave of your chest, collapsed over long, untrained hair. The tender soft of your cheeks, as you wiped at your eyes. Too embarrassed to even admit to yourself the ache of your heart. The quiver of your closed eyes as your fingers brushed against one of your horns, as if testing whether they were still attached or not. Did you think you were a moose? The crushing reality that they had remained in place eliciting a soft murmur of a stifled wail. Alone, or at least you had concluded you were. Allowing yourself to slip from the seams, the smile falling from your lips at the time alone. You always did this. Fell apart when no one was looking. TH touch of small light at your hair, the gentle regard you had for others, even unwilling to burden your classmates despite how your heart ached. Despite how desperately you wished to grasp onto someone’s hands.
How was it, you had ended up like this?
Why didn’t you take someone’s hand?
The distant memories, the rejection he had endured in his formative years. His quirk, a villain. No, Neito understood how you had found yourself in this state. Your existence far gentler than his own. Unwilling to bite back at the hands that offended you, forcing a smile rather than reveal your contempt. No, no he suspected that you didn’t even have a touch of scorn within your bones. So different than himself. Thoughtful. Gentle. Kind. The melancholy that nabbed at his heart, longed to hold the hand that you desperately denied reaching out. Too ease your tears, to sooth your worries. He.. He didn’t really know how. The Phantom Thief was comfortable with touch, with casual teasing and encounters, but... but that wasn’t who you were. Yet, he could not stop the brush of his hand against the strands of your hair. Could not fight the smile, the soft regard as his knees bent to meet your own. His left hand soothing the strands of distress. Impulsively stroking you despite the obvious shock of his appearance. Allowed your quirk to manifest between his brow, a mirror image of the horns that you so desperately attempted to hide. Forced a smile, quivered your arms. Attempted to deceive him. Something in your eye, how silly. Of course, there was something in your eyes, tears. Regardless of the way you fretted against him, never willing yourself to smack his hand away, he continued. Soothed out strand. Reassuringly hummed as though he were consoling a small child—in some ways, he was. But whether it was his inner child or yours he did not know, but he did not stop. Didn’t desire to.
He didn’t understand. In all truth, to me, he had the touch of melancholy ebbed across his features. The telling smile that tugged at his lips, sincere and affectionate. Not wanting to relinquish the moment, you’re... He thought quietly. His eyes smolder, and appraising your reactions. Ensuring that he did not press to far, did not stray into a touch you did not like. Remained petting your hair, easing your burdens. Unsure of how to approach you. Unsure of how to tuck away the tears that threatened to spill once more. Unsure of how to tell you, to tell you…
You're everything.
If only for a moment to reassure you that you were not alone in the world. That he would hold your hand.
Should you ever want him to.

MHA Ch.383 leak reactions:
MIIIIIINNNAAAAAAAAA! Cluster Acidman, learned from Shoto and Bakugo, who learned from Endeavor, who is there in Gunga fighting AFO!
NO WAIT — Kirimiiiiiiiinnnnaaaaa!
I’m so happy for those crazy kids! Mina overcoming her doubt, and Kirishima being there to stand strong and support her during her big moment.
Who saves catches the heroes? Kirishima. Even if he thinks he was useless, he’s obviously a critical support hero.
Excited for Shinsou too! The Gen Ed kid is a power player with his quirk, his persona chords, AND his capture weapon.
Seeing the sludge villain with Mina, Kirishima, and Shinsou makes SO much sense, because all 3 have quirks that can take him down. Also, Kirishima remembered, and was inspired by, the quirkless kid who ran to fight the sludge villain.
I saw the ending panel with Mt Lady and Machia fighting side by side, and I absolutely love it. These two fought brutally in Gunga the last war but now they’re together. (Also, Mt Lady didn’t fight the sludge villain in Chapter 1! She just helped pick up the pieces afterwards!)
Once again: Horikoshi keeps emphasizing VOICE in this battle. The importance of talking, sharing your feelings, and listening in turn.
Helicopters, eh? Here’s a few guesses as to who is in them: Shoto/Iida, Stain, Hagakure, Fatgum/Aoyama, Sero/Ojiro/Sato, Vlad King with 1B students. I don’t think it’s likely to be All Might joining the fight (yet).

Here I'm beating the corpse of a horse, but I do find ODD how no one in MHA is even interested in understanding their own quirk bar the basic of basic.
Granted some powers are so simplist that you dont need to waste too much time. Like, Mirko's power doesnt need to be heavily analyzed in the story. She has super strenght and it is ok.
But others? No. I want some explanation, especially and Shig's case. Decay is so powerful (and I do have a thought about afo sabotaging shig in a way. "If he cant know how to use his quirk, better for me" but is a sentiment Hori never dwell well enough bc you know, my abuser academy) but no one has any plan or idea of this quirk.
We have tecnhology to make a clothe to Mirio(not for Toohru of course) why not developed smth it cant be decayed?
Hori:😍my abuser academy
(Then again the bullets are useless and afo is deaging bc........evil plan?)
And now it makes me back to Izu. Our poor mc. He has a powerful quirk and 0 thought about this. Like he was quirkless and now has the power of a god(ignoring the bone crushing thing) and we get 0 introspection. And Izu never analysed his quirk.
I mean, maybe he did as he handles well...but to me it was more of a gamble than anything. No one helped him, Izu doesnt comments about his own quirk ...
And the users doesnt even offer some help...(not bashing them, maybe the second but bc he is BK 3.0)
Hori loves to kill any potential in his story. Its quiete fascinating, its like seeing a captain purposely sinking his own ship for no reason.
Hi @mikeellee 👋,
I think I've mentioned before how odd I find this that not more people are like early story Izuku - eagerly analysing their own and others abilities to explore what they can secretly do.
Even powers that seem simple for example Miriko's rabbit that you mentioned - I've looked this up recently for a fic I'm planning on writing and she doesn't just have super strength* and speed* she has:
Enhanced flexibility*
Enhanced hearing
High pain tolerance*
Animalistically high intuition*
All of these things would be awesome to explore more. Particularly as with her broad array of abilities (the ones I've placed a * by actually are similar to some of the abilities given to Izuku by OFA or high pain tolerance which he had built up through excessive exposure to an explosively abusive BKG growing up) she could have been an excellent mentor to Izuku. She also could have helped Izuku gain confidence by Hori wastes all this potential by turning her into... A stick for his gore porn fetish it seems...
As for the technology to do with quirks and how unequal it seems that could have also been explored narratively. With Shig it's easy to see that as AFO not wanting him to know too much about what he can do and keep him under control.
But why can't Momo and Hagakure have a costume that works with them if Mirio can? It would be interesting if that was sexism, HPSC corruption, the over sexualisation and celebrity nature of heroes but Hori... gave us all this set up then nothing.
To conclude, Izuku over time has been whittled away at - things like his analysis - which I actually enjoyed, vanished. Part of me thinks this is due to Hori's laziness and lack of being bothered to think through every quirk of the people he puts later into the story like Nejire (what happens if she overuses her quirk? Can she die from it?)
But Izuku's lack of analysis into OFA, is that Hori literally can't be bothered so is just shoving out content at this point, seems in universe like he doesn't feel like he deserves to, this doesn't feel like his quirk, it feels like All Mights and Izuku could feel unworthy of analysing it.

Danny Phantom Reader In My Hero Academia
No Pairing
Requested: @supernatural-hunter1
Request: Remember that TV show “Danny Phantom” that we all grew up watching his kids. what if the MHA characters met someone who’s quirk is like Danny Phantom’s ghost powers?😅
A/N: You didn't ask for anyone in particular so I didn't do relationship stuff kind of did it as you existing within the 3 bigger groups in the world but if you want some specific people please let me know I can get that done for you.
Students
🏫 Chaos, you could be the most wholesome person on the planet but they are still going to find a way to turn your powers into chaos. 🏫 While I don’t think that there is anyone who’s particularly afraid of ghosts Bakugo doesn’t really like ghost stories and his friends use you to explore that. 🏫 Shouting, running and a discovery of your super strength in your ghost form all came out of this encounter when half the dorm got caught in the crossfire and you saved them from a sofa that was literally flying through the air. 🏫 You were probably on par with the top 3, your strength rivalled Deku, Agility and Durability rivalled Bakugo and Versatility rivalled Shoto. 🏫 Denki has tried to sneak up on you on many occasions and you know he’s there every time and manage to scare the crap out of him instead. 🏫 Becomes the class's one mission to scare the living daylights out of the ghost. 🏫 Everyday you seemed to have a new ability and honestly Deku needed one notebook for just you. 🏫 Deku was probably the best person to help you figure out what your powers are and Bakugo would probably be the best person to find out the extent of them. 🏫 If you're the first one in class you’ll use telekinesis to move everything slightly to the left or right and watch the chaos as everyone walks in. 🏫 Reactions that stick out are Denki completely missing his chair, Momo and Shoto adjusting accordingly while holding eye contact with you, Bakugo literally blaming everything on you even if he had no clue what truly happened. Sero congratulated you and Iida scolded you when the truth was proven. 🏫 I imagine that you run a little colder so in the summer people lounge all over you because you like a cool pack. 🏫 Class B is terrified of you, since you had appeared in and around the class since Monoma started teasing your class (you scare him the most by the way, he literally faints if you sneak up on him). 🏫 Doors don’t exist for you, you walk through walls all the time, it’s gotten you in trouble but it was a habit by this point. 🏫 You never get hurt so people freak out when you do, despite the fact that you have a very impressive healing ability. 🏫 Sometimes you’ll just sit there invisible with Hagakure whispering about how long it took for the rest of the class to realise. 🏫 You’ll make a great hero one day but for now you're a student and you should enjoy it.

Pro Heroes
🦸 You got paired up with whoever needed an extra pair of hands, it didn’t matter what they needed either, you were versatile, you could do patrolling, rescue missions, infiltrations and stealth. 🦸 All Might loved training with you before his injury since you could keep up with strength and provide a little bit of a challenge even though you were quite a bit younger than him. 🦸 You were often paired with Hawks because you could keep up with him and people thought that you were as attractive as him. You both had a playful friendship and would often tease. 🦸 Endeavour hates that he can’t get a read on you, you are literally everywhere and nowhere all of the time and there was nothing he could do that you couldn’t, considering your Pyrokinesis. 🦸 You were popular with the public, kids loved you, you were friendly and easily approachable, people often came to you when they needed help and you were around. 🦸 Shigaraki hated you because he couldn’t actually touch you and therefore his quirk was useless. You were literally made the 1A bodyguard after this fact was discovered. 🦸 Kai also hated you for the same reason, however your abilities allowed you to locate him and Eri during the infiltration mission way faster than anyone had thought and he couldn’t shoot you with the quirk stealing bullet. 🦸 X ray vision, telekinesis and intangibility made you a rescue mission expert. 🦸 One of the greatest heroes Japan has ever seen. 🦸 You and Hawks cause chaos together when your bored, god help whoever is around you at the time but you might go the extra mile to get Endeavour involved if your both feeling particularly suicidal. 🦸 Aizawa literally wants to die the moment that you and Yamada get together, he is loud enough on his own but you have a ghostly wail that literally makes him want to strangle both of you. 🦸 Easily one of the most popular heroes, and you aren’t going anywhere for a long time.

Villains
😈 So if you were a hero you’d be the best hero out there, so if you were a villain you’d be dangerous when you realised your true potential. 😈 Definitely someone the All For One took note of, he couldn’t take your power from you because he couldn’t touch you so instead he’d have to make sure that you were on the same side and given the fact that he probably found you when you were young that wouldn’t be hard. 😈 You take literally joy out of scaring the crap out of civilians and taking them for all their worth. You'd also steal a lot because there was very low chance of anyone catching you. 😈 You and Shigaraki were inseparable, your charisma and general looks allowed you to talk you both out of a lot, that is until you become more known. 😈 When the League formed, you found yourself having more fun, Toga and Twice were easy to scare and you did it all the time. 😈 Toga lashed out and stabbed you once when you scared her and they all watched astonished that you healed completely within 3 seconds of the wound being inflicted. 😈 You have an ability that works against almost every hero that you encounter, they are trying to make a plan to stop you but currently have nothing. 😈 Dabi doesn’t trust you but then again who does he trust… When he decided that you proved yourself you were both a bit savage about the way that you go about things. 😈 Compress often hides behind you when a fight breaks out, he knows that they aren’t getting past you. 😈 Twice loves talking to you about ghosts and the other side the conversations you’ve had would worry anyone who didn’t know you. 😈 You scare a lot of people, just being you, when you start using your powers it can get a bit crazy, you're good at getting information through scare tactics. 😈 You're a dangerous villain and one the heroes have no idea how to stop.

9. Person a gets hurt while on a solo mission/alone + naegami for @makowo
“I’ll be fine!”, he had said. “I don’t need any help! I can handle myself on my own!” He had insisted.
Naegi knew he could handle himself on his own. He wasn’t fucking useless. He had done it before and he’d be fucking damned if he couldn’t do it again, but now. Fucking hell.
He was sitting on the floor of an abandoned factory, clutching his stomach as it slowly bled.
He knew that this is where he would find the remnant of despair, Kazuichi Souda. Kirigiri has informed him about the whereabouts of several of the remnants. Togami had refused to help. He understood why. Didn’t mean it hurt any less.
Naegi had to admit he still didn’t know very well what he was doing with the remnants. They had already managed to capture the former Ultimate Gymnast and the former Ultimate Photographer. They didn’t go easily, and now the current remnant of despair, Souda, was not making this easy.
Once Naegi had found his base of operations, where he supposedly spent most of his time building monokuma’s and weapons to be sent to Towa City, he thought it’d be easy enough to sneak in and knock him out whilst he wasn’t looking.
Naegi, however, had not accounted for the thousands upon thousands of Monokuma robots watching the every move of the factory. He should’ve known better. God fucking damnit.
Now, he was bleeding out on the floor with Souda probably still looking for him.
He could still move his left arm though. His right arm was being pressed against his abdomen, already soaked in blood and starting to hurt. He could still do something though. He had to.
He reached into his pocket and grabbed his phone. It was a cheap phone Hagakure had made for him. Well, made for all six of the survivors. It couldn’t be traced by the remnants or the foundation, and was supposed to act as an emergency contact if any of them were ever in trouble.
God fucking bless Hagakure.
His hands were still shaking as he clicked on Togami’s contact. He knew the other man was upset at him. He understood why, and yet all that Naegi wanted was to talk to him.
He wriggled the phone between his shoulder and ear, letting it sit there as he needed to put his left arm back against his abdomen.
“You have some fucking balls to be calling through Hagakure’s stupid ass emergency phone”
And Naegi feels like he could burst into tears. He had never felt so relieved to hear Togami’s snarky sarcasm before in his entire life.
“Byakuya, I-”, he winces. A sharp pain in his stomach decides to make itself known. God is he going to survive? He survives a fucking killing game but getting stabbed in the gut by Kazuichi Souda is what takes him out.
“Makoto?”
He can practically hear the concern dripping from Togami’s words. If he wasn’t about to pass out from blood loss he’d tease Togami about it, and yet.
“Y-you were right! Though that’s not really surprising. You usually are. You’re very smart. I should listen to you more! Promise I will! If I uh- if”
Words are starting to become hard. He can feel his tongue become heavy in his mouth. He probably should’ve called Togami sooner, or someone. God he’s an idiot.
“Okay. I know where you are. The phone gave me your location. Don’t fucking move. I’m on my way.”
Naegi nods, almost laughing. Why would he nod if Togami can’t even see him? What’s wrong with him?
Togami says something else. It seems desperate, but Naegi can’t hear him as he’s already down under.

From School Briefs, Book 2 + some self-indulgence.
Their clothes resemble their favorite pros, can you guess who they are?
Tumblr media
Sorry to any Hagakure fans, but I don't like her at all. She maybe has one or two moments of importance, but other than that, she's been pretty useless and not very memorable in general in my opinion. And even if she wasn't invisible, I'm 99.9% would feel this way regardless.
And yes, I am aware that the recent manga updates have given her a bit more spotlight. But it's only reinforced my dislike of her because it just goes to show absolutely how weak her Quirk is.

Lines of Destiny
Little note at the end
Tumblr media
All Might: Well, for this training, we'll have some "villains" guard a nuclear weapon they plan to use! The heroes must stop them and their nefarious schemes before it is too late. If the heroes capture the villains or reach the nuclear weapon before time runs out, they win. If the villains manage to keep the weapon out of the heroes' reach at all times or capture them, they win. Your companions and enemies will be chosen…by lottery!
Tenya: Are we really going to do it like this!?
Izuku: Well, pros are usually forced to team up with other heroes they may not know very well, so this form of testing-
_____: We already understood, shut up
All Might: ANYWAYS!!! LET'S START!!! Usually, the teams would be couples... but considering that there are 21 students, we can make teams of 3 people.
THE TEAMS ARE:
A. Ochako Uraraka, Izuku Midoriya, Tenya Iida
B. Shoto Todoroki, Mezou Shouji, Fumikage Tokoyami
C. Momo Yaoyorozu, Minoru Mineta, Yuga Aoyama
D. Katsuki Bakugou, _____ Kimura, Eijiro Kirishima
E. Mina Ashido, Denki Kaminari, Hanta Sero
F. Tsuyu Asui, Tooru Hagakure, Mashirao Ojiro
G. Rikido Sato, Koji Koda, Kyouka Jiro
----
Eijiro: Hello! I don't think we've talked much! _____, right?
_____: Huh? Oh yeah, that's me, you're Eijiro?
Eijiro: Yes, that's right... and you're Bakugou, right?
Katsuki: WHAT DO YOU CARE, NERDS!?
Eijiro: Sheesh… calm down, anyway, I saw that you two had great scores!
Bakugou: Tch, I should have had first place!
_____: Come on Eijiro, it didn't go that bad for you either.
Eijiro: Well... my quirk is not as impressive as yours
_____: I think that yours is very peculiar and quite useful!
Katsuki: If you're done socializing, we have to start this!
It was the first time that _____ had a conversation with the 2 boys, definitely opposite sides, but _____ was going to try hard to one day have a decent conversation with Katsuki.
All Might: And the first groups that are going to face each other are...!
Group A as heroes and group D as villains!
----
_____: So, as I understood, you and Izuku have known each other before...
A discovery that _____ made is that, if it's about him, Katsuki likes to talk, what a guy...
Katsuki: That nerd was with me at school... he really has a quirk then?
Eijiro: You saw it for yourself. That strength? Looks very risky, but... you're only going to go for Midoriya, aren't you?
Katsuki: He was lying to me this whole time!? Fucking nerd!!
Eijiro and _____ who were behind Katsuki looked at each other and decided to ignore their partner's behavior.
THE FIRST TEST BEGINS!
Katsuki: Okay, you two stay useless here, I'll go take care of Deku
Eijiro: But-
_____: Alright
When Katsuki left, Eijiro stared at _____ doubtfully.
Eijiro: Why didn't you stop him?
_____: It's better to let guys like him do what they want, it's better to avoid bigger problems.
Eijiro: Okay, I guess...
After a while, only explosions could be heard in the building, meanwhile, Eijiro and _____ were quietly sitting in the middle of the room talking.
Eijiro: Woooow! So you made your own pet!?
_____: You could say so, an accident that I do not regret
Eijiro: You really have an amazing quirk, you say you can do whatever you want?
_____: I can do whatever I want as long as I have knowledge about it, I have to be too specific in what I draw, so since I was little Emma has been teaching me physics, biology, and all that.
Eijiro: How cool!
_____: Well, you are not far behind either, your quirk is very cool too
Eijiro: Do you believe so?
_____: Yap, you may not believe it, but if you practice enou-
TIME IS UP!
_____: Wow, Katsuki was literal when he told us to be useless...
Eijiro: Anyway, it was nice talking to you.
_____: Same thing.
After this, the battles continued until all groups had participated.
---
All Might: THE BEST IN THE FIRST BATTLE WAS YOUNG IIDA!!!
Tenya: What- huh!?
Tsuyu: But weren't the winners the opposing team?
All Might: Hmmmmm... I WONDER WHY IT'S LIKE THIS...
Momo: Professor All Might, if I may, it's because Iida was the only one who adapted better to the situation. Observing the battle, Bakugou's behavior was clearly because of a personal quarrel. The same reason goes for Midoriya. In the case of Kirishima and Kimura, they were not given a chance to fight. And as for Uraraka, his final attack was careless.
All Might: She said it all… Well… correct answer hehe
_____ ignored what they were saying, her attention was focused on Katsuki, she did not know what had happened in his confrontation with Izuku, the only thing she knew was that her teammate was feeling horrible. She knew of the risks she ran by approaching him, among the options was being shot at 120 km/h into a building…
But she had nothing more to lose than physical stability, so she didn't think about it anymore and approached Katsuki, thinking about the best way to address him while the others took Izuku to the infirmary, considering a slight trauma from the explosions.
_____: …Hey…
Katsuki: What do you want?
_____: Nothing, just... tell you that... you can count on me if you want to talk about something that bothers you... yes, just that... ehm... see you...
At first, she thought of telling him cliched things like “Everything is going to be okay” and “Don't feel bad”, but knowing her partner's behavior, he sure hated feeling slighted… I mean, who wouldn't.
Before she could take the step to walk away, she felt a hand grab her wrist, stopping her in her tracks and making her look towards Katsuki. He let out a very silent “thank you.”

¤゜゜・..・゜゜・・゜゜・..・¤
~Third POV~
It was the second week in the dorms, you had all settled in nicely, it was around 9am and everyone was awake, well except for you. You were passed out on your bedroom floor, seeing as you were up all night doing God knows what you were quite worn out so now you're just spread out on the black rug on your floor. Sleeping was ni- *BANG BANG BANG*, "WHAT THE FU-" You shot up instantly in a confused and agitated state, "OI DUMBASS GET UP, THOSE IDIOTS CAN'T COOK FOR SHIT AND I REFUSE TO TEACH THEIR USELESS ASSES" Bakugou screamed at you behind your door as you got up, flipped him off and got dressed.
Grabbing your phone and your Bluetooth headphones you pocketed both/ your phone and layed your headphones around the back of your neck. Exiting your dorm and closing the door as you rubbed the sleep from your eyes making your way to the kitchen area. "Alright, what'd you idiots need help with aga-" , you paused seeing the disaster the kitchen was in "Oh God what the hell, WHAT THE HELL IS THIS??" You panicked wondering how a group of UA students could mess up such an easy life skill, some mystery food was very much charcoal burnt, Midoriya was crying and Momo was clearly about to have a breakdown. " I just wanted our c-class to have a g-group breakfasSSSTT" She spoke to herself as she suddenly burst into tears. You ran upto her looking/up/down at her tearfilled eyes and awkwardly embraced her as chaos ran through the dorm, "Heyy, it's alright I have half decent cooking skills so I'm sure I'll be able to salvage whatever they were exactly aiming to make" You cringed as you spoke trying your best to not want to hurl than and there. "Alright, everyone OUT, I need this space for a whole hour and NO ONE interrupting me either please and thank you", You spoke clapping your hands and quickly got to work cleaning up before starting to cook.
Mesmerised by your efficiency in the kitchen Midoriya, Kirishima, Mineta and Hagakure stared at you with amazement and pure joy.
Tumblr media
With such extreme focus you prepared a breakfast to feed your entire class and left-overs, of course you didn't need to but you wanted to. You enjoyed/didn't enjoy cooking but/so you were happy to help with breakfast/ you did enjoy making sure your class was taken care of so you cooked anyway. "Food's ready! Come eat!" You called out towards your dorm mates as they all started rushing in like a stampede. You had prepared a variety of foods, ranging from hardy brunch or light smooth sides. "OH WOW! THIS LOOKS DELICIOUS L/N" Hagakure says with joy as you laugh and scratch the back of your neck "Thank you and you all know I prefer my first name even if we all aren't extremely close?" You respond nonchalantlly, feeling uncomfortable with people calling you by your last name even if it was respectful. "Oh right! Thank you for the meal!" Everyone but Bakugou shouts and bows their heads as they all start plating their food. Grabbing your own plate you sit down at one of the far left tables. Sitting just across from bakugou he snarled at you "Oi Q/B/N (quirk based nickname) what the hell are you doing?", He glared at you with egg hanging from his chopsticks, "Chill out Bakugou, I'm still tired I don't feel like making conversations with the others" You called back at him, stuffing your face with rice. 4 other plates slam down next to both of you. Sero, Mina, Kirishima and Kaminari accompanied you all chatting and eating.
You spaced out with food still in your mouth, Bakugou nudged your shin with his foot, shaking your head you swallowed your food, "Hm?" You tilted your head at him as he nudged his head towards Mineta harassing Ojiro and Deku. You gripped your chopsticks "What does this grape fuck want with them?" You stood up and slammed down your chopsticks, walking towards them but being stopped by Bakugou with him putting a hand just infront of your stomach, you glared at him but he only stared at the three of them leaving you confused but a flow of admiration gushed against you when you saw Ojiro himself grab mineta and throw him against a wall, "You're really annoying mineta, but atleast I was gentle" He said sitting back down and continuing his meal. You clapped your hands and sat back down also to continue eating, "Ya know, some of these idiots aren't that bad, but that doesn't mean I like anyone here!" Bakugou chirped at you while you chuckled in response "Yea yea, I know, so how's the food?" You asked sparking conversation, "It's decent, a little light in my opinion, besides I like spicy food alot more than regular food." He responded, you nodded  understanding his point of view "Oi, are you doing anything today Q/B/N? God knows these extras are more mindless than sheep" He questioned you, you and Kirishima definitely got along with Bakugou more than the rest of the class did with him. "Yea, I'm picking up my costume from Power Loader and Hatsume, got it fixed and added some simple support items nothing big but still took longer than normal adjustments" You explained as he took in the information "I'm coming with you extra" He spat at you,"I- You're what? Why?" You retorted in confusion, "BECAUSE I SAID SO NERD!" He shot up and yelled, picked up his finished plate to go wash it and went to get ready. "Damn Bakuhoe what's your deal" You whispered as you also went to clean your dishes. Mina and Kaminari started crying laughing once they heard your comeback "God Y/N that name was ge-", as you put your plate in the sink you noticed something, "WHO IN GODS NAME BURNT THE PAN THIS BADLY?!?" Your voice rang in everyone's ears. "Oh shit" Kaminari sweat dropped "I'm screwed" He squeaked out as he ran for his dorm. "Y/N NO" the class shouted, "GET YOUR ASS BACK HERE, I BOUGHT THAT PAN"  You ran after him.
Ah yes, another day in the 1A dorms.

I have felt very let down by 1-A so far in the final arc. It's like none of them are allowed to have badass moments at all or at least ones that stick. It's making them look like a joke. I'm hoping Horikoshi is planning on showing that All Might was right that 1-A is a forced to be reckoned with. The only way I see that happening though is through awakenings. Like example Shouto desperately needs one his phosphor has how become useless so he needs something new.
It's so bizarre, because in the lead-up of the war, we were made to feel like Class A was the only heroes still around, and All Might has been hyping them so hard.
And it felt kind of dumb, because yeah we knew that the adults were still around. I always felt that since there was no time skip and they are still first years, the adults all would have to be taken out before they would get truly their turn to shine - but that's like a re-play of the PLF War arc.
I'm still trying to understand the logic of HK's sequencing in this arc - because it does feel like the promised / set up "hype moments" for characters like Sero, Mina or Aoyama will be very hard to land, when we already saw Deku 120% or Gentle doing feats like soloing an entire prison and then holding up a falling island (which the Avengers couldn't do in Sokovia - so like way disproportionate).
And sure, you can still have moments that somehow within the internal logic of that character are important / touching. Or we can end up with a string of extremely frustrating moments like how Nejire's "flashback" just felt like ticking off a box or Tamaki's "laser canon" was hyped to make no difference in the story. Yeah, it looked cool, but if it doesn't in any way affect the events, it will feel cheap and devalued.
Right now, most of the flashy stuff went to a handful of characters, and the only student who was really allowed to shine and be badass is still just Deku. Shouto's and Bakugou's great moments have been nullified as of now and I personally dislike Bakugou's death plot a lot (it's repetitive from the PLF war, it was obviously not gonna "stick", the Edgeshot field operation feels ridiculous, that Mirio twerking / Deku calming moment sucked on so many levels, etc.) . I am very sad, because I was so incredibly hyped for Bakugou at the end of Ch 360 when he was crying. It was such a powerful moment which feels fizzled into a very anti-climatic and controversial death plot.
I also hardly got any of the interactions I was craving, the only exception being Shouto and Touya, and to a much smaller extent Bakugou and BJ. The Class-A kids are divided into "unfun" groups.
Bakugou had nobody from the class to bounce off of - he hasn't even interacted with Deku since the apology much. None of the other kids (except Monoma) reacted to his death. Shouto has Iida, which is a solid team-up in terms of history, but so far, not much was done with it, though with Shouto we got some sweet flashbacks and the class reactions, so that was nice. Uraraka and Tsu are paired up. Again. Tokoyami and Jirou were kind of a nice surprise, but again, not much was done with it. Shoji being paired with Kouda was ok, and he had some cute class flashbacks, but his plot was another butchered narrative. Momo and Kaminari being stuck in the basement got no fun reactions or interactions at all. Mina and Kirishima being together feels like doing the same as in the PLF War. Sero, Ojirou and Satou together again feels kind of unfun. They have no significant history or chemistry to make that work and no pull-character. Aoyama and presumably Hagakure is OK I guess, especially with Fat Gum there, who alone can make a plot interesting.
But basically, none of the kids so far get to interact with each other or with meaningful adults. And even when there is such interaction (Tokoyami and Hawks for example), it is delivered in the flattest way possible.
So I'm hoping that it will all lead up to some good interactions, but for the moment they are just hard to see. As a huge fan of the Class A group, I feel so far kind of let down with how HK is using them and disregarding the good chemistry / history he built.

a little excerpt
“Sometimes, I wish I didn’t have my quirk,” she continued. “Being invisible has its ups and downs; the worst was being ignored when I was right there. Sometimes I wish I could be more like you, so anyone who could hear me would listen.”
“Anyone who said your quirk was useless is a fool.” Neito said with an indignant huff. “And I understand where you’re coming from, but you’re perfect the way you are, Tooru. Regardless, what I do is mostly talk. It’s easy to be the loudest voice in a room where you’re the weakest.”
“I don’t think that’s true, Nei." She said, the shake of her head being accentuated by the collar of her shirt moving. “You’re one of the strongest people I know.”
Happy Reading <3
