Eddie didn’t even remember falling asleep. One second he was cradling the love of his life and the next his phone was blaring by his ear, forcing his eyes open.
That wasn’t even right, it was too loud to be his phone. It was two loud shrieking noises, bad enough to wake them both up. Steve blinked up at him, seemingly just as confused on how they’d gotten here as Eddie was.
Emotional exhaustion was a hell of a drug.
He didn’t know how long they were asleep for when he grabbed his phone, sleepily answering, “Hello?”
“Where the hell have you been?!” Chrissy’s voice greeted him, “I have been hiding in a damn airport bathroom for forty minutes! Like three people have already recognized me and I swear to God, if you aren’t here before that catches on-”
Fuck, “Shit, I’m so sorry, I’m on the way. Forty minutes, tops.”
“That doesn’t answer where you’ve been.”
Eddie glanced over at Steve, watching as he answered his own phone, “Steve came by and we talked.”
“He did?” Chrissy asked, on the edge of hopeful, “What did he say?”
“Well-”
“You SAID you would call me if it worked out! And did you call? No! You didn’t! Nancy and I are literally circling his apartment building because for all I know he could have killed you-”
Eddie watched, amused as Steve scrambled to take his phone off speaker. He tried to calm her down, “Robin, I’m fine. I’m sorry, we just got distracted.”
Eddie could still hear her yelling on the other end, muffled but still clear enough, “And how the hell would I know you’re fine? You had one job Steven, one!”
“Eddie? You there?” Chrissy voice asked, one more added to the madness, “Don’t leave me on a cliffhanger here! What happened?”
But Eddie’s mind was already wandering. As much as he loved Chrissy, leaving Steve here wasn’t high on his list of priorities. There was still a lot to talk about and shoving his best friend into his face after they just made up probably wasn’t a great call. But Robin was right outside.
His mind settled on an idea, it was a little out there but Eddie was selfish enough to try. Besides, if Chrissy hated it he could just take Steve along. He was going to meet her eventually anyway.
“I’ll tell you everything,” Eddie reassured, still half-listening to Steve’s conversation, “But things are still kind of fresh. How would you feel about someone else picking you up from the airport?”
“Who?”
“Steve’s sister?” Eddie tried, fully ready for her to call him crazy. He’d have to give her that one. He did technically make her fly all the way out here just to try and ditch her at the airport.
But Chrissy didn’t sound very put out. If anything she sounded curious, “Wait, you mean the girl from the pictures?”
Eddie narrowed his eyes at the plural, “I only sent you one picture.”
The silence that followed told him everything he needed to know, “Have you been stalking this girl’s instagram?”
“I-no? Wait a sec, I’m not the one on trial here! Don’t interrogate me!”
Eddie rolled his eyes, but he’d give it to her, “But you’re open to the idea?”
“If you can guarantee I won’t be kidnapped and murdered maybe.”
“Fair enough,” Eddie said, turning to nudge Steve, “Hey baby, can you ask Robin a weird question?”
“Eddie wants to know if you’ll pick up Chrissy Cunningham from the airport,” Steve immediately asked. Evidently, Eddie hadn’t been the only one eavesdropping, “As long as you promise not to kidnap and/or murder her. But I’m going to add drooling too. Neither of you can make her uncomfortable, got it?”
It was kind of impressive how easily Steve turned that conversation around, like he knew exactly what Robin was going to say. Probably because he did.
“Oh my god, oh my god, oh my god, yes! We’ll do it!” Eddie heard from the other line, from what sounded like two separate voices, “But can you warn her we’re fans? We can only act so normal for so long. But we can keep a secret! We won’t like expose her or anything!”
Steve rolled his eyes, “All you have to do is drive her to her hotel. You can handle it for that long.”
“I’m paying for your hotel by the way,” Eddie said on his end, “And warning her and her girlfriend are both fans.”
“Damn right you’re paying for it,” Chrissy agreed, “I still have your credit card from the last time you were here. And uh, you said they’re both fans? Nancy too?”
Eddie paused, “Just how deep into the cyberstalking hole did you go with these people?”
“J-Just give me her number! I’ll let you know when I get there. Then you owe me every detail the second you are officially back together.”
Eddie bit his tongue, as he glanced over at Steve. He was running a hand through his hair, trying and failing to calm down the still screeching duo. Yeah, he was going to take one more day with him.
“I will,” Eddie promised, “When we figure it all out you’re the first stop. We’re coming straight to you, okay?”
“Good,” Chrissy said, appeased, “Enjoy him alone while you can.”
“I will. Thank you, Chrissy,” Eddie said, completely sincere, “For coming all the way out here for my dumbass. I love you, dude. See you soon.”
“Love you too.”
He hung up around the same time Steve did.
“I feel like we just started something,” Steve yawned as he laid right back down, “But I don’t know what.”

invisible string II Lucy Bronze x Reader

a/n: based off this request.
"Time, curious time Gave me no compasses, gave me no signs Were there clues I didn't see? And isn't it just so pretty to think All along there was some Invisible string Tying you to me?"
~ Taylor Swift, invisible string
barcelona women masterlist I word count: 3264
North Carolina, 2009
To be honest the first time Lucy Bronze stepped into your life was not ideal. For countless reasons. One of them was how you two met back in 2009 in North Carolina. Both of you were foreign students playing for the University’s soccer team. So naturally the changing room was the place of your first meeting.
As the captain of the team, you asked every teammate to introduce themselves at the start of the fresh semester: “And you’re?”  “Lucy. Lucy Bronze.”, the dark-haired woman replied while eating. In slight disgust you wrinkled your nose. To yourself you thought who talks when there’s still food in their mouth you asked yourself, but you chose to say out loud:” Pleasure.” “Want a piece?”, the English defender asked with a smile which usually won everyone over even the toughest opponents. Slowly you shook your head:“ No, thanks, training is about to start.”
The truth was you lost your appetite since your girlfriend broke up with you over your phone a few days ago. To be fair Spain and North Carolina was far apart from each other, but you had hoped your love was strong enough to handle this. It turned out you were very wrong about that. Meanwhile Lucy shrugged her shoulders nonchalant:” Fine then.”
In the evening you tried to cook for yourself while equally trying not to cry into your dinner. Someone was standing right behind you, so you turned around to see who it was: “Oh hello Lucia.” “Pretty sure I introduced myself as Lucy. Not Lucia.”, the English woman frowned. Confused you gave her a closer look: “Yes but why don’t you use your Portuguese name then it’s on the squad list?” “Mierda!”,you cursed as you realized you burnt your food while talking to the defender. Worried Lucy asked: “Because I’m English. Do you need help?” “No, maybe I do need a little bit of help. Sorry, I’m not in a good mood lately. My girlfriend back at home in Spain said she could not do this long distance thing but it’s only a year. Nevermind. God, I’m a mess.”, you opened up, not knowing exactly why you did it in front of someone who was still almost a stranger. Maybe that made it easier to talk about it.
The brunette smiled empathetically:” So heartbroken, huh?” “Yes.”, you nodded. With a grin the taller woman demanded in a bossy tone:” I know what helps with that. Move over. I’ll make you some food.”“That’s thank you.”, she took you by surprise with that small act of kindness. “Don’t worry about it.”
Curiously you asked:“ Do you like North Carolina so far?” “Yeah, it’s pretty cool.”, she responded to with a grin while staying equally focused on the cooking part. You couldn’t help but to gush about your surroundings:” I agree. It’s crazy that women’s football here is more popular than men’s football, right? Feels like there’s still so much to do back home in Europe.” “Yes, you’re probably right about that.”, Lucy agreed while she secretly found your passion for change inspiring as she too felt like it was about damn time.
Suddenly you changed the topic, wanting to know more about the English woman in front of you: “Can I ask you something? What made you choose defending?” “I just love stopping people from scoring. Always did. When I played with boys, they always underestimated me. They thought I wouldn’t tackle them.”, the brunette replied, visibly amused by that memory of her childhood. “But you proved them wrong.”, you concluded. The defender laughed while she was reminiscing on her past: “I did. I made a few of them cry.”  “Oh, really?”, you giggled. The English woman could still see your red eyes from the crying a few minutes ago:”Yeah, but they did cry a lot uglier than you.” “I thought pretty crying doesn’t exist.” “Apparently it does. Here, eat that.”, Lucy demanded.
As you took the first bite you closed your eyes because it tasted simply delicious:” Oh my god, this is really good. Where did you learn to cook like that?” “My mum taught me.”, the dark-haired woman answered proudly. Still with your eyes shut you remarked: “She taught you well.” “Took a long time until I perfected cooking like her.”, the defender confessed with a smile.
Now you opened your eyes again and gave her an sincere look:“Thanks though for the cooking and the talking Lucy. I really needed this tonight.”  “No, worries. I had to cook anyway.”, your teammate shrugged it off.
Lucy did enjoy cooking for you although she did not think any further on that because you were clearly in an heartbroken state and she was just happy to focus on football for now and the possible friendship that would evolve from here.
Lyon 2017/18
When you joined Olympique Lyon a year ago, you immediately felt like home in this team. Today, the new signings were supposed to be introduced to the squad and you were determined to make them feel the same way.
You ran into Wendie Renard on your way to the pitch who looked down at you with a smirk; “The newest signing says she knows you, so I thought maybe you could show her around.“ “What? Who is it?“, you asked confused. But the tall defender did not even need to answer. Over her shoulder you could see a familiar face walking towards you. “Lucy? How long has it been? Seven years since North Carolina?“ Without thinking you threw yourself into the arms of your former best friend. Lucy hugged you tight and smiled; “Surprise.“ Slowly, you let go and shook your head in disbelief; “Oh wow. You’re here. I can’t believe it. But can you even speak french?“ Lucy grimaced as if you had personally offended her with that question; “Of course I speak french. I’m well prepared.“ “Really?“. You raised an eyebrow at her which Lucy only answered with a tired smile; “Don’t underestimate me.“ “We’ll see how well you do in training. They refuse to speak english.“, you kept teasing, your arms folded across your chest. But Lucy remained confident; “Not a problem for me.“ “If you say so. Come on, I’ll give you the tour.“, you decided and took a few steps away from Lucy.
The English defender immediately kept up with you; “Alright, I’ll follow you.“ As you walked side by side across the training grounds, you could not stop yourself from looking at Lucys face. It’s been a long time since you have last seen her and those seven years have done something to her. Or has she always looked that good and you just never noticed it? But that smile was definitely still the same.
As you two stepped into the empty gym, you opened your arms in a welcoming gesture; “Welcome to the best club in Europe.“ “It will be even better now.“, Lucy replied self-assured, letting her gaze wander around the room. You acknowledged her answer with an eye roll; “You did not change at all.“
“But you did?”, the defender mocked you. “Yes.” She took a long look at you before saying: “I don’t believe that.” “I’m not the sad, heartbroken young adult anymore.”, you told her. Amused your new old teammate began: “But apart from that.” In her eyes you’ve always been beautiful, and this has not changed over the years you’ve spent apart. Her gaze became a bit too intense for your liking, so you tried to get back into swing with your tour:” So these are the changing rooms.” “They’re quite nice.”, the brunette admitted while taking the view in. Smiling you promised her: ”Wait until you see the other rooms, they are way more exciting.” “Oh yeah?”, Lucy smirked and led you back to the changing room. Dazzled you looked at her:” Yes but Luce that’s not the way!” “Oh yes, it’s. Close your eyes.”, the English woman commanded. Still confused you ask her: ”Why?” “Just do it.”, the defender replied, her voice slightly impatient. A sigh escaped your lips while you closed your eyes in anticipation of what you did not know exactly:“ Okay Fine.” “Good, don’t’ move.”, the brunette said, sounding quite satisfied now. Her tone made you laugh and question what she was doing behind your closed eyes: “I promise I won’t.” “Okay, open them again.”
“What did you do?”, you stared at her slowly realizing what she has been up to. Your teammate couldn’t help but grin cheekily: “I stole your locker.”  “Rude, I’ll change that back.”, you scoffed.  Laughing Lucy hold you from doing what you announced: “Stop, it’s mine now.” “No, I’ve been here longer than you.”, you started pouting. She threw an innocent look at you: “I thought the newest singing gets to pick.” “You’ll regret that, Bronzy.”, you jokingly warned her before continuing showing her around.
It was matchday and Ada Hegerberg who became one of your closest friends in the team whistled at the sight of you sitting on Lucy’s lap:” Oh look we’ve two new lovebirds.” “What? No, I’m just sitting on my usual place.”, you corrected her and yet your cheeks still turned red at the Norwegian’s comment.
With a smug smile, Lucy tilted her head up at you; “Actually, your place is over there. This is mine now.“ “No, it’s always been hers.“, Ada sided with you. You held up your head in Adas direction; “See!“ But Lucy shook her head vehemently; “Nope. I picked it when I came here.“ You gasped about the fact that she would consider stealing your locker as picking one. “I won’t move.“, you declared stubbornly. The English defender shrugged; “Then we will sit here for a long time.“ Wendie was already impatiently bouncing on her feet, waiting for the game to start; “Come on, you silly girls.“ Seeing your captain ready and focused made you finally give in. Slowly you stood up from Lucys lap; “Coming.“ “Yeah, let’s kick some asses.“, she laughed as she followed you outside.
This game was important and everyone on the field knew it. You played in the midfield, Lucy behind you to your right. Immediately, it felt like back in the US. You knew exactly where Lucy was moving without seeing her and she could read your body language so well that every pass to you was timed perfectly. It still was a hard-fought game, but Ada managed to put the ball behind the keeper, scoring the only goal of the night and winning you the game.
As you walked around the pitch, high-fiving your team mates after the final whistle, Ada stopped you. Her gaze wandered from you to Lucy who stood close by, joking with Wendie; “Your connection is remarkable… It feels like you’re connected by some invisible string. Are you two…?“ Before she could even finish her question, you burst into laughter; „Lucy and me? Oh no.“ “Oh, you’re not?“ “No. We just know each other for a long time.“, you explained, feeling your cheeks flush. Gratefully, you noticed Wendie walking towards you and nudging Ada; „Leave the children alone, Ada.“ Rolling your eyes, you reminded her; “We’re not children anymore.“ “We’re even older than Ada.“, Lucy chimed in. “Exactly.“ Your captain shook her head with a long sigh; “Still children if you two don’t see what’s in front of you.“ “I See a successful season in front of us.“, Lucy replied, gracefully ignoring what Wendie had hinted at. “Oh yes. It will be golden.“, you smiled. The English defender grinned back at you; “With many trophies.“
It turned out that she was right with her prophecy after all. You did win the league but even more importantly you did become the winner of the women’s champions league. What a glorious night in Kiev. Olympique Lyon won 4:1 against Vfl Wolfsburg.
As the referee ended the game you beamingly jumped into Lucy’s arms: “We’re the champions of Europe, Lucy!” “I told you.”, the brunette shouted back equally happy. On your team’s side it was pure happiness, on the other side the german team was devastated. Ecstatically you whispered into your friend’s ear: “We won.” “Yeah, we’re the best.”, the defender nodded proudly.
In that special moment under the night sky, you suddenly felt brave enough to do something which you normally would not have done, because you’d have feared the possible consequences afterwards: “Close your eyes. How does that win feel?” “Amazing. For a lack of better words.”, she told you, still with a huge grin on her face which encompassed all the feelings for which the English woman did not find the words yet. Before you could overthink anymore of it you kissed her while Lucys eyes were still shut down. Surprised the brunette replied to the kiss, first cautiously than more passionately. But Ada interrupted the two of you as she called your name. Your cheeks still red from what just happened you told the blonde: “I’m on my way, Ada!” “Wait..what?”, the defender found her voice again and looked dazzled at you. Shyness overcame you: “I’m sorry, I don’t know how-“ “Oh. It’s fine. Happens to the best of us, right.”, Lucy tried to shrug it off. Nervously you agreed: “Right.” Meanwhile Ada took your hand to lead you to your celebrating teammates.
Wendie who watched you two from afar asked the confused English woman: “Lucy, what was that?” “Why are you asking me? She did that.”, Lucy countered. The French woman glanced at her curiously: “And how did it made you feel?” “It just happened in the excitement. It’s fine.”, Lucy answered. Although her heart felt heavy saying these words. A small smile appeared on Wendie’s lips as she observed: “You look disappointed though.” “I’m not.”, her teammate grumbled. Trying it with a more cheerful tone she added: “Let’s go celebrate with the other ones.”
After a few glasses of champagne, you noticed that Lucy was sitting alone: “Lucy? Why did you stop celebrating?” “Huh? Oh. Just wanted a break.”, the brunette explained. Hurt you commented:” You’re trying to avoid me, right.” “No, I don’t.”, she said stubbornly. “Lucy.”  “It’s fine. Really.”, the defender told you. The silence between you two became unbearable so you offered her:“I can leave if you prefer that.”
“No.“, Lucy answered curtly. Confused, you repeated; “No?“ “No, stay.“, she clarified, still not looking at you. You sat down next to her with a sigh; “If you want that.“ “I do.“ As the silence threatened to get too big once again, you gathered your courage and steered the conversation to the obvious topic; “The kiss…“ But Lucy interrupted you before you could finish; “I know. It was an accident. Don’t worry about it.“ She was finally looking at you. Your breath hitched involuntarily. As you spoke, you could feel your jaw tense: “No, it was not an accident. I was just a coward.“ “What do you mean?“, Lucy frowned, equally surprised about the confidence in your voice. “I wanted to kiss you since the start of the season but it always felt like the wrong time… at least that’s what I told myself.“, you admitted.
You had no idea how Lucy would react, but did not expect her features softening as she asked; “Wait. You did?“ “Yeah.“, you confirmed, looking down at the ground. Upon Lucys quiet laugh, you immediately had to look up again. “Shit. You should have done that much earlier then.“ Lightly, you tilted your head; “But what if you didn’t feel the same way and I’d have ruined everything?“ “But I do. So you missed your chance to do it earlier.“, Lucy grinned. “So…?“, you struggled to put your thoughts into words. Amused, Lucy repeated; “So?“ “Was it too late to tell you that?“, you asked carefully. Gently, Lucy slipped her hand into yours; “No, it was the absolute perfect time.“ “Would you give us a try then?“ The defender nodded; “I’d want nothing more.“
There were so many emotions that you could not process at this moment. But there was one thing, you knew you wanted to do; “Can I kiss you again? This time with open eyes?“ “You can kiss me all you want.“, Lucy laughed, tilting her head towards you and waited. You leaned forward, pressing your lips on hers. Her hand rested on your thigh as she deepened the kiss. When you broke apart, she grinned; “I could get used to that.“ “Me too.“, you agreed before Lucy pulled you back into another, longer kiss.
Barcelona 2023
“Hello Aitana and Lucy.”, Sarina Wiegmant greeted the two Barcelona players with a big smile. Only a couple of minutes earlier she has been in a deep talk with their club head coach. Surprised the defender looked at the Dutch woman: ”Coach?” “Oh I was watching you and Keira tonight.”, for a moment the England coach stopped in astonishment than she added, Wait, who’s that?” “Lucy’s wife.”, Aitana answered grinning. Amused Lucy took your hand in hers:” Thanks, Aitana. Yes, that’s my wife.” “I did not knew you had one!”, Sarina gazed startled at the two of you. The defender laughed: “Surprise. I do.” “Why was not she at the World Cup?”, the blonde asked noisily. Her player replied winking: “She’s Spanish.” “That was one reason, the other one is still carried around by Mapi.”, you added grinning. Playfully your wife gasped out loud:” Oh no, don’t tell her!” “No, tell me.”, the Dutch woman demanded. With a sigh Lucy turned to one of your closest friends since childhood:” Wait. Mapi!” “Oh do you want your little girl back?”, the Spanish defender asked smiling innocently, while holding your baby in her arms.
As Mapi mentioned the news, Sarina’s mouth went wide open:“Little girl?” “Yes, she needs to get to know Sarina.”, your wife nodded. Eyerolling the Spanish defender gave the brunette her daughter back:“Fine but she won’t play for England when her time comes the Spanish federation might have changed for the better.” “You don’t actually believe that, do you? She’ll play for England.”, the English woman decided. “Okay but let her at least play for Barcelona.” “We’ll see about that.”, your wife answered.
Meanwhile Sarina cooed over your little girl:” Hello little one, nice to meet you. Don’t listen to those adults talking about your future.” “We’re just making sure, she’ll have a good career.”, Lucy defended her position.  Softly her coach looked from your daughter to her: “I know but let her be a child first.” “Don’t worry, we’re just joking. No one’s pushing her into something she doesn’t want to.”, the brunette reassured the Dutch woman. “True, we’re making sure of that.”, you continued. “Very well. So where did you two met?”, Sarina changed the topic. A dreamy look appeared on the defenders face:“A long time ago. We were both playing in the US for North Carolina.” “Really? I played there too. A long time ago.”, the blonde replied amused by that coincidence. “There’s no way, Sarina.”, Lucy chuckled.  “But it was a long time before you. I think we might have had the same coach though.” A sound of disbelief came from your lips:” Did you had Dorrance too.” “I did.”, Sarina told you.  Almost admiring the defender concluded:“So did Lotte and Alessia, that man taught football generations after generations.” “Who would have thought that.”, you said. “Not me but it’s kinda cool.”, Lucy admitted.
You looked at her and Sarina as you remarked: “It’s like we’re all connected through invisible strings. Somehow we all ended up together at some point in time and place.”

The day was new, sadly, after last night you didn’t know if leaving your room was a good option in the first place, well of course you’d live, but the embarrassment you felt at the moment made you feel like the world was ending. You always felt a little sensitive and awkward towards every little situation that came your way. When you say it in your head it always sounds like a bad thing even though there are worse things in the world, and you shouldn’t even come close to feeling unfortunate in any situation–or thats what your mother would tell you, at a point your life your mother used to make you feel vain–blaming you for your fathers death saying it was your fault, of course you knew your mother had loved you, I mean she was also going through the grief of losing her husband, you shouldn’t be selfish–thats what she would also tell you.
After a long two hours of laying in bed, you rolled in bed and looked at your alarm clock that read 9:23am, and you could already hear the shuffling and laughter of the boys in the kitchen, deciding to just suffer through it and just hope nobody brings up the previous night, they all probably forgot about it by now, right? You could only hope because you sure haven’t forgotten.
Making your way down the hall where the chuckling and the sizzling of bacon started to make itself more present as you stepped into the kitchen, your head automatically goes down towards the floor when the chatter abruptly stops–the awkward sizzling of bacon mocking you as you walk towards the bread.
Andy stops and turns toward you with a small smile while leaning on the marble countertop, finally deciding to break the silence, “good morning honey, I made breakfast if you’re interested, bacon and uh maybe some pancakes if Johnny will save some for the rest of us.” he says the last part while turning towards a shirtless johnny stuffing his mouth full, mumbling out a “sorry”.
You tilt your head up toward Andy, and grab the bread, “no thanks Andy, maybe later–thanks though–well not that I don’t want any it's just-” you stutter out, until Andy interrupts you with a soft chuckle.
Andy walks behind you–tucking a piece of hair behind your ear before he leaned down to press a small kiss to your temple, “Oh pumpkin, what am I gonna do with you hm? With your cute self.” your cheeks tinted red, and besides that you could hear Johnny, and Colin snickering–probably making fun of you.
Not really knowing how to respond, but suddenly another thought comes to mind–where's your mother? Now curious, you turned and asked Andy, face still red as a beet, “um- where's my mom?” Andy half listens to you as he plays with your hair softly.
“She’s on a business trip, won’t be back for a few weeks, so you get to spend some alone time with us.” Andy says as he smirks.
You advert your gaze back to the toaster and give him a quick “okay”, before turning back around he huffs dramatically grabbing his keys swiftly, but before he heads out, he stops before the two chuckling boys.
“You boys be nice, treat her good until I get home, okay? Oh honey, if you need anything just give me a call, okay? Johnny should help you with anything, if not, I’ll be back around 11:00. Be good you two.”, and at that Andy was out the door, now it’s just you and them.
Johnny sighed and got up dramatically, “I’m gonna go take a shower, you kids have fun.” he said as he walked toward his bedroom.
Now it was just Colin and you, but as soon as you heard the toaster pop up, you scurried to your room–not even bothering to grab the butter–once you got to your room, closing the door you sighed and switched your phone on for the next hour.
💼
After another 30 minutes of contemplating if you should leave your room or not, you do. Opening the door slowly, and walking down the hall to the living room, where you thought watching TV would be an option for you, but Colin seemed to be taking up the couch and the entire atmosphere, and God was it intimidating.
Before you could turn away, and advance to the comfort of your own room–Colin stopped you abruptly. He threw his head back over the back of the couch, and called your name out.
“Hey!- don’t leave, come join me, I’m watching 21 jump street, I want you to come watch it with me.”
He sounded so demanding, but maybe that's just his way of expressing himself, so you watch as he scoots over a tad, and pats the spot next to him. This is when you seem to notice he doesn’t have a shirt on under his thin jacket, but you still sit down awkwardly next to him.
Suddenly he scoots closer to you, and wraps an arm around you, pulling you to him slightly as he says “relax baby, just getting comfortable, you wanna lay on me?”
“Oh, well I’m ok right now, I wouldn’t wanna-” he cuts you off by his own words, “cmon baby, I don’t mind, it's just some friendly cuddles, don’t gotta be all shy about it.” he says the last part chuckling.
You stay silent as he speaks again, “Here–I’ll help you.” Coin grunts a bit as he pulls you on top of him, and pushes your head onto his chest, softly stroking your hair. As much as you’d hate to admit it, it did feel kind of nice, maybe because he was nice and warm, and solid–Colin interrupts your train of thought when he speaks again.
“Isn’t this nice baby? All nice and relaxed…You're such a good girl, you know that?” he says with a mischievous glint in his voice while stroking your back, his voice still vibrating off of you he continues, “So, so quiet. Bet you're a virgin huh? All pure and untouched, from the way you're grinding on my dick and acting all innocent about it, you have to be.”
You feel stiff all the sudden, like you can’t move, now you're overly aware of the fact that his dick is poking your thigh. Then to make things worse he leans down toward your ear, “You know me, and Johnny talked about fucking you last night? Or how adorable you would look trying to wrap your lips around our cocks–and the tears that would run down that pretty face as we both fucked you till you couldn’t walk–or talk–bet you're a cock drunk bitch when you have the chance, huh?”
This is when you really started to freak out, trying to shove away from him eagerly, “Stop! Get off me! Andy will come back any time.”, and Colin just laughed at your plea, which made you slightly confused.
“Oh Baby, you poor girl, Andy’s the worst of both of us, if you knew all the dirty shit he’s said about you, you’d be crying–or well you already are–your new daddy just wants to pound you into his mattress until you're crying honey, and so much more.”
Your eyes widened at his statement, that couldn’t be, Andy cared about you..right? The thoughts that ran a million miles in your head suddenly got interrupted by another presence entering the room. Johnny.
Crying out for him as Colin licked and sucked on your neck, making you whimper pathetically in the process, “Johnny, please get him off of me..” you said pleadingly.
Johnny stared at you mockingly as he bent down to your level, where you still laid beneath Colin helplessly. He stroked the side of your face teasingly before he said, “Now why would I do that hm? Not when you’re whimpering so sweetly baby.” Colin then let up off you, leaning back into the couch, pulling you into his lap in the process as you felt your thighs subconsciously rub together.
After Johnny made his way beside you and Colin–sandwiching yourself between them as result, he stroked your thigh up and down, slowly making his way to your clothed core, “Look how fucking red you are, just from some teasing hm? you wanna feel me sweetheart? Don’t even try to hide how wet you are–bet you haven’t even had your first kiss yet.”
You had to be slightly surprised at his forwardness, no you haven’t had your first kiss yet, but you just told yourself that you're waiting for the right person. Colin chuckled at Johnny’s antics, this is also when you noticed that Johnny was not wearing a shirt–or pants for a matter of fact, this realization made you feel hotter all over.
Colin leaned over and looked at Johnny, “You know the old man won’t like it if we take her first kiss without him being here."
Johnny rolled his eyes and scoffed, still stroking your thighs, “Fuck that old geezer, I'm taking what's min-” Johnny got cut off by a loud slam of a door and jingling of car keys jingling. You three looked over toward the door to see Andy in the doorway, his arms crossed intimidatingly.
“what's going on here fellas..trying to break her in without me?” Andy said with a smirk as he reached the end of his sentence. He walked over to you slowly, and took your small face into both of his large hands, “And what about you honey? Having fun without daddy, hm? Good thing I’m here now.” He ends the last of his words with a chuckle.
Pleading for help wouldn’t even save you right now, after what Johnny and Colin just confessed to you–especially Andy–all you can do is hope for the best.
A/n: sorry for the short late chapter ya'll (I edited it at the end because the order was fucked up for those who were as confused as me.)

A/N ::: There are a couple of people who are wholly responsible for me going off the rails like this. Thank you … I think you know who you are. I’ve NEVER dabbled in anything like this. Daydreaming or writing. So this is all very new territory to me. Cut me some slack. I know very little about this dynamic. This might be the beginning of something, it might be the last time I ever write about anything like this. I don’t know. I will list the C/W as thoroughly as I can.
Tumblr media
TW ::: Piss stuff and a sexual relationship between DD's/lg. If that bothers you, kindly back away slowly.
C/W ::: F!reader (adult, 30’s), DD’s(2)/lg, yes, 2 daddies, separate sleeping quarters for DD’s and lg, piss denial (is that a thing?), Daddy Ei = Daddy Eijiro, Sir = Katsuki, very very slight age play/age regression (like, very little), pet names, sweetheart, good girl, sweet girl, baby girl, sweets, angel, sweet little, sweet little girl, oral F!->M & swallowing, slight exchange of precum from kiss, unprotected P->V, more F!->M oral, hair pulling, cuddling/aftercare. I think that covers it all. If I missed anything that you think is important, let’s talk. I’ll see what I can do.
WC ::: Just under 2500.
Tumblr media
You woke up in your bed across the hall from your daddy's room. It was curious how you ended up there because you distinctly remember falling asleep in their bed, between the 2 huge men. The sky cast a gray gloom throughout the space. But that didn't dull the cute and bright decorations they had put up all around on the walls for you.
There were no noises coming from anywhere else in the house. Did they know you were awake? Were they awake? "Daddy Ei? Sir? I have to go potty. Can someone come get me please?" You used your words. Politely. Just like they had both drilled into your little brain so many times before. Sometimes gently, sometimes more rough. But you knew it all came from a place of love.
Eijiro disentangled himself from Katsuki's arms. "Our sweet girl is up. You want me to take care of her?" He whispered into Kats' ear after he kissed his cheek a couple of times to rouse him from his sleep. "Stay. You had a late night, I'll get up and get her." Eijiro tossed the blankets off of his warm, naked body and padded across the cold hardwood floor. Your room was across the hall from theirs. They liked it that way so they could easily hear you if you needed them for anything.
"Daddy Ei, Sir!? I - I gotta -" Eijiro peeked his head through the door and into your room. Your face lit up when you saw his wild red hair and the soft smile that graced his sweet face.
"I'm here, I'm here, sweet little girl. What do you need, now? Tell daddy what you need, baby." His half-hard cock bobbed side to side with each step he took toward you. He was tying his mane of hair back with a band. And his arms stretching up like that only accentuated the muscles of his arms and torso. You couldn't help but stare at him. A little string of drool that had been pooling in the corner of your mouth slipped past your freshly wetted lips.
"Daddy." You stood at the edge of your bed and raised up your arms to him. He bent over and wrapped his long limbs around your waist and hoisted you up so your legs wrapped around him. His cock was harder now than when he walked in and you could feel it brushing against your ass.
"Good morning, sweet little. Did you have good dreams last night? Where's my morning kiss, hm?" You wiggled in his arms, excited by the invitation to kiss him. "What's got you so excited this morning, huh? Were you lonely last night? Poor baby. Maybe tonight Sir will say it's ok for you to sleep in bed with us?" You nodded furiously at the prospect of getting to spend the night with both of them.
"Gotta pee, daddy. Pee with me?" Eijiro kissed your forehead and carried you through the hall to him and Kats' room. You slid down the front of his body to the floor. Your pussy brushed over his abdomen and it made you shiver with pleasure. "But ... gotta pee."
"You're so sensitive this morning, baby girl. D'ya think you can wait to go potty? Here. Down ya go, onto the bed." You stood there while he pulled your panties down. "Oohh, your panties are even wet. Do you need your daddies? Hm, right after you wake up you need your daddies to make you feel good? Come on, lay down. Be my good girl. Let’s see if we can’t all make each other feel good, yeah?” His voice was so soft against your ear. It made you melt right down where he laid you.
Eijiro stood at the edge of the bed, presenting himself like it was Christmas morning. You wrapped your hands around it, bringing his cock to your mouth and you looked up at him while slowly sucking on the dark pink tip like it was your favorite pacifier. "That's my good girl. Fuck, that's right, baby. Suck that cock like you need the milk. Uh-huh, yesss baby girl. Good girl, good girl." Eijiro played with his balls while you swirled your hands around the base of his dick and rolled your eyes back into your skull as your cheeks hollowed out around him.
Eijiro follows your mouth as you move to the middle of the bed and lay down next to Katsuki. He's awake but his eyes are closed. "Oi, what's this shit I hear about her being "my good girl"? 'S too damn early in the morning for that kinda talk. She's our good girl. Don't make me tell you again or there'll be consequences." Katsuki rolled over beside you as you continued working your lips around Eijiro. He took your chin in his hands and pulled you off of his cock with a pop. He kissed your slobbery, precum covered lips. "Good morning, sweets. Are you making daddy Ei feel good?"
You nodded, "Mm-hm. I wanted to help him, too. Do ..." Your voice and eyes trailed off from Katsuki. Feeling too shy to even ask him what you wanted. Katsuki laughed and took your hand and placed it over his heart.
"Ya wanna ask me something, sweetheart? You started to say something but stopped." Ever the observant man, he read you like a book.
"I - I wanted to know if you wanted to feel good, too, Sir." He smiled down at you. "You are such a good girl. Asking if I want to feel good, too. Yes. Of course I do. I love it when you make me feel good. Do you want to be in here, just you and me? Or do you want daddy Ei here, too?" You squealed with joy and put your arms up. Katsuki lifted your nightgown from your head slowly and gently. It made you feel so safe and loved when he was like this with you.
You moved up onto his lap. Your clothes discarded and his arms wide open, you climbed up onto his large legs, straddling his lap. "Like this, Sir?"
He hummed in approval. "Mmm-hmm. Just like that, angel." He wrapped his arms around your waist and began to guide you over the growing bulge in his boxers. "Want to see what daddy has for you, baby?" You nodded, drooling all over yourself and the thought of what he was about to show you.
Katsuki pulled his boxers down to reveal his throbbing cock. It stood up straight and proud, ready for your attention. "Go ahead, baby. Touch it." You slid your hands up his chest and down his arms and around to his waist before grabbing his dick. Tucking your chin shyly, you looked up at him and blushed. "You like it? You like Sirs hard cock, baby girl?" He asked.
You nodded. "Mm-hm. It's so pretty, Sir. May I?" Your lips pouted and your eyes pleaded with him. "Yes, baby. Go ahead and suck it." You slid down his body on your knees and leaned over, wrapping your lips around the tip of his cock and sliding down as far as you could.
"Oh, fuuuck, baby girl. Just like that. Sssuch - fuck, such a good girl for me." He said, not thinking that he had chewed Eijiro out for saying something similar not too long ago. It just felt too good with your hot, wet mouth around him for him to have any actual thoughts other than blowing his load in your sweet little mouth.
"Mmmm, Sir, can I suck you until you cum in my mouth, please? Pretty pleeease? I want to make you feel good." He growled at your words, feeling himself already getting closer and closer to cumming.
That was until Eijiro spoke up. He was so quiet that you both forgot he was in there. "What was that you were saying about her being our girl? Not 5 minutes ago, Katsuki. Tsk tsk tsk. And here you are, doing the same thing. Without an ounce of shame."
Katsuki smoothed your hair down on the back of your head and gave you a little extra push further down his shaft. "Shut up, dumbass." He huffed through his nose. "Yeah yeah yeah. Ok. Whatever. You wanna join us, idiot?"
Eijiro nodded slightly as he palmed his cock through his robe. "Wouldn't want to let our baby down, so yeah. I'll play."
"She's not ready to handle both of us just yet. We can't do that right now. She's not ready for that." Katsuki said, matter-of-factly. "But she can suck me off while you fuck her from behind." Eijiro grinned, taking his robe off and revealing his own, equally thick cock.
"Good idea. Go ahead and get up on your hands and knees for Daddy Ei and me, sweetheart." You obeyed, scooting off of Kats' legs back onto the bed on all fours. Smiling up at them both, you shook your ass at Eijiro and opened your mouth for Katsuki to pick up where you left him.
"You want me to take this sweet little pussy from behind, baby?" Eijiro said as he slid his cock along your dripping wet slit. He spread your lips with his fingers and ran his thumb over your clit, causing you to moan and push your ass back into him. "So wet already, so so wet, fuck. What a good girl." He saw your pussy clench around the tip of his finger as he praised you.
"Daddy Ei, still gotta pee, though." They looked at each other and laughed.
"Yeah. Yeah, we know, angel. Just do the best you can for us, ok?" You whined and began to protest but Katsuki filled your mouth before you could say anything else about it.
"Oohh-hohh, that's it, baby. Good girl. Takin’ me so deep right away. Fuck yes, baby." You moaned again as your nose brushed against Katsuki's wiry tufts of hair. You loved it when they praised you. You knew you were a good girl for them, but it felt so good to hear them say it.
Katsuki's hips started to buck as he got closer and closer to cumming in your mouth. You felt your own orgasm building up from the back as Eijiro rubbed your clit and fucked you. He grabbed your hair and pulled back so your head was up, your throat was stretched, and your mouth was open wide for Katsuki to finish.
"Fuuuck, baby girl, gonna - cuh, g- gonna - fuuuuck!" He cried out, pumping his hips faster and faster into your mouth as his seed shot out of him. He watched you swallow it all down and he pulled his cock out, dripping with your spit and his cum.
He kissed the top of your head and moved to the side, letting Eijiro get closer. "You ready, sweetheart? Want me to fuck this pretty little pussy until you cum all over my cock?" Eijiro said, rubbing your clit faster and faster.
You whined out loud. "Yes, daddy Ei. Please, please fuck me! Fill me up with your milk, daddy!"
Katsuki sat beside you and took your face in his hands, wiping away the tears that had pooled in the corners of your eyes from sucking him off. "That's my good girl. So fucking pretty like this." He whispered into your ear. "Now, be a good girl and cum for daddy Ei, ok?" You nodded as he continued to whisper in your ear. "Good girl. Cum all over his cock, yeah? Can you do that for us, baby? We want you to feel good, too.”
Eijiro thrust harder and faster into you, feeling his own orgasm building up. He wrapped his arms around your waist and hoisted you up, still on your hands and knees, but with him on his knees behind you. He pushed himself all the way into you and you both cried out with pleasure.
"Nnghh, gotta pee, daddyyy Eiii, still gotta peeee!"
"Go ahead, sweetheart. You're so good for us. Just let go. Let it all out." Katsuki said, still whispering in your ear. He reached down and began to rub your clit and kiss your neck as Eijiro continued to pump his hips into you and press on your bladder.
"Gonna, gonna p- OHHHH, FUCK! C- CUH- I'M CUMMING!!!" You screamed as your orgasm rocked through your body. Leaving you a shaking, soaked mess. The blankets beneath you were drenched, as well. "Oh no, sorry, Daddy Ei, sorry Sir. I - you said to, though." This was the first time they let you do that in bed.
Katsuki and Eijiro held onto you tight, letting you ride out the waves of pleasure with them. Eijiro groaned and came, filling you with his sticky cum.
You collapsed onto the bed, panting and covered in sweat, piss and cum. Katsuki pulled you close to him and wrapped his arms around you. Eijiro curled up behind you and wrapped his arm around your waist.
"We love you, baby girl. You're so good for us. Such a good girl." He kissed the back of your neck and stroked your hair. "Let's get you cleaned up. We've got a lot of work to do today, so let's get you nice and clean. Then we'll make you a big breakfast, ok?" You nodded and snuggled up against him, feeling safe and loved.
"I love you, too, Sir and daddy Ei. I'm sorry for the mess, though."
"Don't worry about it, sweetheart. It's ok. We'll take care of it." Eijiro kissed your shoulder and smiled. "You just relax. We'll handle the rest." You nodded again and closed your eyes. Feeling content and happy, you drifted off to sleep for just a little while longer in their arms.

A Lesson in Listening
Summary: Grian's brother is moving to town and staying with him while he house hunts. While introducing him to his friend, however, Jimmy and Tango seem to make quite a connection. Determined not to suffer through the pining, Grian and Impulse attempt to play matchmaker.
Ships: Grian & Impulse(Platonic), Jimmy/Tango (Romantic), ZITS (Platonic), Grian & Jimmy (Familial)
Warnings: mild acephobia, verbal fight, sibling bullying, misunderstandings, relationship meddling
If Grian was good at one thing, it was connecting people. Not to be a braggart, but he was a sociable sort who was good at reading people, made new friends with ease, and led the pecking order in his circles. It was his great talent, really. One of many.
“Humility not being among them, clearly.”
“Shush.” Grian hissed, whipping his head around to glare daggers into Impulse. The stout man returned it with his trademark innocent smile, as if Grian didn’t know what went on in the head behind it. “You’re distracting me.”
Impulse chuckled. “What’s there to distract from?”
“I’ll have you know mixing friend groups is a very delicate process!” Grian explained, holding his phone to show the opened notepad doc. “Inviting the wrong person could be the difference between success and disaster.”
“I think you’re overthinking things, G. Anyone who’d get along with you will probably get along with your brother.”
Therein lied the problem, though. Jimmy was nothing like Grian. Okay, well, nothing was a bit of a strong word. Jimmy was extroverted and sociable like Grian, and they both had a fondness for mischief and cats. And maybe Jimmy was the first person Grian always invited to karaoke night when he was in town, because no one else was quite as enthusiastic as they were. But other than that they were nothing alike! For one, unlike Grian, Jimmy was a massive loser.
“That’s a bit rude.”
Grian squawked. “Would you please stop reading my mind!”
“You should stop speaking your mind, then.” Impulse shrugged and returned to scrolling through his phone. Grian had assigned him the task of picking out the venue for the night out, being far more familiar with the town than Grian. He paused, “You might as well monologue, I know you want to.”
“I don’t monologue! I’m not Scar.” Another name was struck out on the list. Doc was angry at him right now, anyways. “I just want things to go well, can I not be excited that Tim is moving closer? I’ve barely got to see him more than once every other month for the past several years! By the way, we can’t-“
“Can’t eat red meat so make sure there’s other options, yeah, I know.” A large hand patted down on Grian’s head, ruffling his hair.
He pouted, falling back into the cushions of his couch. “I feel like you do not appreciate the skill needed to coordinate you people. It’s like herding cats, you know.”
“Why do you think we leave it to you?” Impulse leaned over Grian’s shoulder. “Who you got so far, anyways?”
“You, Scar, Gem, and Cleo. Mostly people he’s met before at least.”
A curious hum filled the air and Grian patiently waited for whatever idea was brewing in Impulse’s head. There were a few taps to his screen, then, “You think Tango can come?”
“Tango?” Grian’s eyebrow quirked up. “Isn’t he hauled up in his basement working on some game right now?” While most certainly a good friend, Tango was one Grian went almost just as long without seeing as his brother half a day’s drive away, despite being a street away. Once he had an idea he would dedicate himself to it until it was done.
Impulse sighed. “Yeah. Zed was able to get him outside for an hour last week, and he went on some business trip for a bit, but he also hasn’t eaten in like two days last I checked. It’d be good excuse to drag him out. He’s gonna forget what real people sound like outside his headphones if we don’t.”
“I honestly don’t know how he expects to survive if he moves out from you guys.”
“I already made him promise to give me a set of spare keys when he does.”
Grian tilted his head as he stared at his last message to the man in question. Something about a crazy idea for a remote-controlled cat toy he thought of. In all honesty it wasn’t the worst idea. Not the cat toy- Tango was a strong personality who left a big impression, but he was always polite. Certainly much more introverted than everyone else going, but not nearly as bad as Zed. At least, when he remembered to leave his basement. It couldn’t do them any harm. At the very worst he could sit in the corner and chatter with Impulse. “Yeah, sure, let’s invite him.” He said, already typing.
Impulse gave a thumbs up. “Tell him we’re gonna go to that barbeque place he loves, that’ll get him.”
“I said-”
“They have plenty of chicken and even vegetarian options, I double checked. It’s right across from the bowling alley, too. And call him, don’t text, or he’ll never see it.”
It was a small miracle Tango agreed to go. It was a small miracle he answered his phone at all. The mention of barbeque worked, though. How much of the rest of the evening they could convince him to stick around for had yet to be seen, but Grian was hopeful he’d stay a little while at least.
Impulse could deal with Tango, though. Right now, Grian had his hands full with Jimmy. They were running ten minutes behind because his poor little brother couldn’t bear going a day without a bubble bath. “C’mon, Tim, get in the car!” He shouted from the window.
Jimmy stumbled in, nearly dropping his phone between the seats in the process. “I’m hurrying, I’m hurrying, I just had to send a text. I thought this was supposed to be fun?” He whined. The second his door was closed Grian began driving, not waiting for him to get his seatbelt in. He was so tall and lanky he’d just smash his head through the glass whether he had one on or not, anyways.
“It’s called punctuality, Timmy. Something the hosts should have!”
“Alright, I get it.” He slumped back into his seat, caving as he always did. It must be hard, having an older brother who was always right. Of course, it was much harder being said brother, as Grian could attest.
The car ride was quiet, only the radio filling the space while Grian worked to remember where he needed to go. Jimmy was the first to break the silence, “So, I’ve scheduled some tours for this week.”
Grian hummed. “Anything promising?”
“Actually yeah.” He chirped, pulling out his phone. Before he could shove it in Grian’s face he put his hand up. It’d only been a month since he rear-ended a Toyota, and he’ll be damned if he hit someone else. The last thing his friends needed was to reignite the jokes about him being too short to see over the dashboard. Jimmy made a whine but didn’t try again. “There’s a place not far out of town in the farmlands. It’s small and old, but it’s an actual house with over half an acre.”
“I dunno why you care so much about land. A condo downtown is way better.”
“It’s nice, isn’t it? I could have a garden.”
“I guess.” The obnoxiously large sign for the barbeque glared high above the trees and buildings around it just up ahead. “Oh, we’re already here. Should be mostly people you met before, by the way.”
“That’s fine.”
Pulling into the parking lot, Grian could already see Impulse’s minivan and Cleo’s beat up old car. He clicked his tongue as he pulled up next to them. “See! I told you we were late, everyone’s already here.”
“Oh, come off it, they probably just got here, it’s fine.”
It was not fine, the host should always be first, but he wouldn’t expect Jimmy to understand. The two squabbled all the way inside, only stopping to tell the waiter their booking. A nice large table on the patio already had most of Grian’s friends sitting around, still having yet to be served even drinks. Everyone but Tango despite his phone, unmistakable with its Guy Fieri case, on the table. Bathroom, maybe? He was always terrible about going before he left. Scar was the first to spot them. “G! Timmy! You’re here!”
“That we are.” Grian mumbled and turned to Impulse. “Where’s-”
“Hey, Grian, just in time!” The scratchy voice of Tango shouted too-loudly behind them. He saw Jimmy jump, and both brothers swivelled on their heels. Tango jolted back a bit, friendly wave shrinking to his side at the reaction. His eyes grew wide, locking with Jimmy’s which mirrored him like two deer caught in headlights. “Oh!” He squeaked unintentionally.
It jogged Jimmy out of his fright enough to look away, though Grian took suspicious note of the redness of his ears. He gave his baby brother a raised eyebrow, but he didn’t seem to see it.
“Right, well, Tango, Cleo, this is my brother, Ti-”
“It’s Jimmy.” Jimmy jumped in at lightning speed, holding his hand out for Tango to shake with a wide smile. “The name’s Jimmy.” Tango hesitated for a second, before tentatively shaking back with an equally tentative smile.
“Tango, of the Tek variety. Nice to finally meet you.”
“I thought you said your brother was Tim?” Cleo asked.
Impulse scratched at his bread. “Honestly, I thought it was.”
“It’s not, my name’s Jimmy. Don’t trust anything this man says, he’s a menace.” Jimmy huffed, which got far too enthusiastic an agreement from nearly the whole table for Grian’s liking. Behind him, Tango snuck around back to the table. In a baffling move, as far as Grian was concerned, he paused at the empty chair across from his own and pulled it out. He nodded towards Jimmy, who muttered a sheepish thanks. Grian narrowed his eyes at the engineer, but he seemed to be pointedly not looking at him. A shared look from Impulse, though, let him know he wasn’t the only one who took notice.
“Well, then, Jimmy, it’s a pleasure to meet you.” Cleo reached over the table, offering their hand.
Chatter very quickly picked itself up once they were all sat down. Most was directed towards Jimmy, asking what he did and the places he was looking at and how on earth did he get his hair that perfect. It was a bit awkward with him sitting at the end. Given the middle seat where Grian now sat was also empty, he suspected Tango’s little gentleman’s stunt had messed up the seating arrangement Impulse intentionally left.
It wasn’t the last. When their drinks came Tango had ordered some crazy bright red fruity slushy monstrosity like he was on vacation or something. For him it might as well be. Something that brightly coloured, with a fruit skewer at that, was basically tempting the gods as far as Jimmy was concerned, who looked more dazzled by it than the already bright blue drink he ordered. Only a sip had been taken before Tango was nudging it towards him, asking, “Wanna try?” Which he wholeheartedly accepted.
Honestly, between that and the conversation somehow always managing to close into a back and forth between the pair, Grian wanted to gag. Did his brother have absolutely no shame? Or maybe Grian was just bitter he had to order something lighter as their driver. It was at least funny to watch Scar also ask for a sip and be completely ignored.
A large platter was ordered over individual meals. It was just easier, when everyone wanted to try this and that. Astonishingly, it was probably the first time Grian had witnessed Tango eat a vegetable, when he tried one of the skewers the brothers ordered on the side. That was the power of good barbeque, he supposed.
They finally called it after Gem won the third round of bowling in a row. Grian tapped against the open door of his car, glaring holes in the back of his brother’s head, who was too busy saying goodbye to Tango to notice. “Come ooon Tim!” He finally shouted after the third obnoxious little giggle they shared. When he turned, Grian narrowed his eyes. You ain’t subtle. The pair finally said goodbye for real, and Jimmy ran to get in the car before Grian decided to drive off without him. He’d barely gotten his seatbelt on before he was furiously typing something on his phone. Really?
“So, how was it?” Grian asked.
“It was fun, your friends seem cool.” Was the distracted response.
“Mhm…” He leaned closer over his shoulder. “And how was Tango?”
If it was possible to jump out of one’s skin then Jimmy had jumped out of his skin, muscles, and bones. “Huh?” He squeaked, face red and eyes bugged. Grian only returned it with an unimpressed eye roll.
“Oh please. You nearly dropped a bowling ball on your foot while swooning.”
“Well… He’s a cool guy, isn’t he?”
And that shut Grian up. More efficiently than he would like to admit. He expected Jimmy to deny it, or be too flustered to say much of anything. When Grian failed to reply Jimmy went back to his phone, tapping away with a smile. There was that obnoxious giggle again.
This was not one of the issues Grian anticipated having when his brother told him he was moving.
“So, how do we set them up?”
Impulse Hummed, spending far too long reading the contents of a can of cream of mushroom like it wasn’t the same can he always bought. “Who?”
“ Who? ” Grian mocked back. “Tim and Tango!”
“Do we need to?” Three more cans joined the first, before they moved on to the broths. Grian threw the bouillon in the cart before his companion could grab a carton that would languish in the back of his fridge. “They seem to be doing fine on their own.”
“No, trust me. I know Tim. He was literally living with his last boyfriend before he realized they were dating and that he liked him. He’s an idiot.”
“And Tango hasn’t exactly been leaving the basement much lately.” Impulse conceded, grabbing a carton of pho broth anyways. Acceptable, Grian supposed.
“So, then, any ideas?”
They paused before entering the next aisle. The larger man’s face twisted in thought. “Well, we could invite him to D&D, run a oneshot, and have their characters drink a love potion until they get the hint.”
“That sounds like a terrible idea, absolutely not.” He wrote it down in his phone for a future session.
“Another dinner?”
“What are the odds of getting Tango out of the house twice?”
“Probably a lot higher than you’d think with how they were acting.”
“What if I gave Timmy a tour of your house and just locked the basement door behind him?”
“You know I’m starting to think we might be bad at this and should leave it to someone else.”
“Nonsense!” Grian grabbed the first bottle of soya sauce he spotted, much to Impulse’s protests. He wasn’t going to sit and wait for him to match the prices to the ounces. “Look, I know Timmy best, and you know Tango best. Logically, there’s no better pair of heads to crack together for this. They’ll thank us at the wedding.”
A jar of pickled bamboo shoots found its way into the cart beside the biggest bag of basmati rice Impulse could pick up. He had to catch his breath before he continued. “Listen, Grian, do you need to… talk, or something?”
“What?” Grian’s head whipped around from the wall of spices he was mulling over. “About what?”
Impulse hunched his shoulders up, cringing slightly. “I dunno, y’know… You’re planning your brother’s wedding to your friend while picking out my groceries for me. I’m not even sure how you found out I was grocery shopping or found me in the store. I don’t think that’s normal, healthy person behaviour.”
“I am so completely normal and healthy!” He said just a bit too loud.
“You know you can talk to me if you need to.”
This was getting nowhere real fast. “Are you going to help me or not?”
Impulse sighed. “I’ll help.”
“Good. Then, what’s the plan?”
In the end, the plan was little more than ‘wait and see’ with a side sprinkling of putting the pair in as much direct contact as possible. This turned out to be much more work than they anticipated, however. Jimmy had always been a socialite, but he seemed to be gone every other day viewing houses or visiting locations. Meanwhile, Tango did as he does and made himself busy constantly. Every group activity Grian planned was lucky to get even one of them, and he was about to lose his damn mind.
Their big break finally showed itself one evening, when Jimmy dropped in with Grian. Well, it was more like Grian promised to drive him to do some errands and made a left turn away from the mall and directly to the ZITS house instead. A decision Jimmy was not familiar enough with the town yet to notice until it was too late. Just the sound of Jimmy’s voice managed to draw Tango upstairs to see what was going on in his kitchen, where the rest of them were chatting.
Immediately the annoying little giggles started up again. If there was one thing in this world that could make Grian try to keep them apart, it was that giggle.
“By the way, Jimmy,” Skizz piped up from where he leaned against the sink. “You still need a lift tomorrow?”
When had Jimmy found time to befriend Skizz? Who knows. Knowing the two of them they probably bumped into each other on the street and kept talking till the sun went down. Extroverts were so exhausting. (He ignored the little Impulse-ish voice nagging that Grian was also something of an extrovert.)
“Yeah, sorry, I appreciate it.”
“Where you going?” Impulse asked.
“Got another house tour.” Tango of all people replied. Maybe that wasn’t all that surprising, though, given the amount Grian has spotted Jimmy texting the past few days.
“Is that so? Will you be going with them?” Grian teased, but instead got a toothy grin back.
“Yessiree!”
Really? Inviting your crush house hunting? Was that forward or just weird? Either way, it was an opportunity. “You know, Tim, you haven’t invited me to go with you.” He whined, putting on his best puppy dog eyes.
Unfortunately, while Jimmy’s talents were sparse, this was one area where he outranked Grian by a factor of magnitudes and had unlocked absolute immunity, or something. “Yeah. That was on purpose.” He said bluntly, not even looking away from Tango, who laughed. In fact, everyone laughed. Even Impulse, the traitor.
Grian wouldn’t give up so easily, however. “Well I think you should. So where is it?”
“What? You’ll just embarrass me, I’m not telling you!” He squeaked, finally looking at his kind, sweet, dear older brother.
“Yes, you are!”
“No, I’m not!”
And that was how Jimmy ended up in a headlock on ZITS’s kitchen floor, Impulse reluctantly using Jimmy’s phone to text Grian the address on his calendar. Tango, simp that he was, managed to distract Grian by jokingly calling Jimmy honey, forcing Grian to let go in order to pretend to hurl, during which time Jimmy made his escape back to the car.
He won though, and the next day when Jimmy pulled up with Skizz and Tango to the house tour, Grian and Impulse were already waiting there with the realtor.
“I can’t believe you.” Jimmy dragged his hands down his face. “Don’t you have to, I don’t know, work?”
“Jokes on you, I’m my own boss.” Grian puffed up his chest.
Tango patted Jimmy on the back and turned the both of them towards the poor, confused realtor. “Let’s just get this over with.” He soothed, to which Jimmy gave him a saccharine smile.
The property was ridiculously nice. It wasn’t especially big, but it was lined by woodlands and already had a garden, albeit in need of some severe TLC. There was even an old chicken coop to the side of the house that only needed new fencing and cleaning. The house itself was a one-story cutesy cottage-like thing. It was older, but whomever had lived in it last had the wiring redone and appliances replaced. The bedroom was big, too, as they tended to be in these older houses, and the bathroom had a proper large tub. There was a spare office room with a nice big window to the garden. The garage was separate, and large enough to be a workshop. All that while being well within the range of good internet and still close enough one could walk to town if they really wanted to.
It was, essentially, Jimmy’s dream home. The only issue Jimmy seemed to have was the fact that the wall between the living room and kitchen had been knocked out for a more modern open concept design with the largest windows in the house.
“It’d probably be a pain to heat in winter, right?” He asked no one in particular.
Grian knew jack all about houses, and only shrugged. It still wasn’t that big, so he imagined not. Impulse and Skizz seemed to mull the idea over a little longer. Tango, though, saw an opportunity, and Grian had to give him credit because the man took it without hesitation. His arm was around Jimmy’s shoulder, toothy grin leaned in a bit too close. “Well, that sounds like a good excuse to cuddle up in bed all winter, hm?”
Jimmy’s cheeks turned pink. He muttered something under his breath that made Tango chuckle. Grian rolled his eyes towards Impulse, who seemed almost too shocked by his friend’s forwardness to notice.
More questions were asked, things Grian was glad he never had to worry about as a condo guy. Owning a home seemed like so much work, but Jimmy had lists upon lists. Of course, it was Jimmy, and even with lists he forgot certain things. But Tango seemed ready to pick up the slack with his own barrage of inquiries.
“I think,” Jimmy said, looking at the kitchen with a bit of awe. “I think this might be it, guys.”
“Yeah?” Tango’s eyes practically sparkled with excitement. Jimmy nodded.
The realtor stepped up. “There aren’t any other serious inquiries at the moment, I think you have a good chance if you put in the asking price.” Jimmy nodded, and the realtor went off to his car to make a call.
Grian pursed his lips at his brother, though. “Are you sure you can afford that? I know you’ve saved up and all, but it’s still a lot.”
Jimmy beamed though, clearly overwhelmed with excitement. “Of course, you think we would look at houses we can’t afford?”
“I mean if I’m honest kind of, but- wait. We?”
“I’ll have you know, despite the beliefs of certain individuals, my credit score’s top notch.” Tango patted his chest proudly. “And between the two of us we have more than enough savings for the down payment.”
Grian felt the wires in his brain short circuit and reboot. An unholy screech came from his throat. “What!”
Jimmy and Tango both side-eyed each other, their awkward smiles caught between guilty and like they were ready to burst out laughing. “You… Thought I could buy a home on my own?” Jimmy asked, hiccupping in the middle.
Impulse looked just as dumbfounded. “When did you work this out?” His voice came out hoarse.
It was Tango’s turn to be confused, raising an eyebrow. “Um, months ago? I told you, Impy.”
“You said you were thinking about moving out, not buying a house with a stranger!”
“Wait-” Skizz burst out laughing, pointing at Grian and Impulse. “You guys really didn’t know?”
“No, why do you know!”
“Cause I listen to my roommates?”
“Hold on. Months ago?” Grian pushed them out of the way, getting into his brother’s face.
It seemed Tango was no longer able to hold in his laughter, leaning on Jimmy for support while Jimmy rubbed the back of his neck. “I honestly couldn’t tell if you’d actually forgotten or if this was some bit.” He admitted.
“We’ve been together for almost three years.” Tango wheezed out between cackles.
“Excuse me?” Balked Grian. “Since when? You’ve never met!” His head whipped between the two. How on earth-
A finger twirled absently in the air as Jimmy tried to explain. “Do you remember your Halloween party? The one me and Joel attended, where Tango was dressed up as an imposter?”
“Yeah?” It was the biggest party he’d ever held, how could he forget? His brow creased. “But that doesn’t make any sense, I never got to introduce you two cause you both went… home… early.” Grian’s eyes went wide as the puzzle pieces clicked into place.
Tango leaned against Jimmy’s shoulder with a smirk. “There it is.”
“Oh. My god.”
“I told you he doesn’t ever listen to me.” Jimmy groaned.
“You two-”
“Yeah.”
Grian gasp cracked. “Jimmy you slut !”
“ Excuse me? ” Jimmy shouted back in equal amounts of disbelief and anger.
Out of the corner of his eye he saw the realtor pause in the entryway, then slowly back out of view once more.
“You heard me!”
“What do you think we did!”
“Well you weren’t enjoying my party, that’s for sure!”
“Okay, okay, everybody calm down.” Skizz stepped in, pushing Grian towards Impulse, who seemed to hold Grian back on instinct more than anything as he was still lost in shock.
“Why didn’t you tell me?” Impulse asked, giving his housemate a look of betrayal. It was returned with concern.
“I did? I swear I did.”
“Dipple Dop, he told us he was busy in call with his partner all the time. He extended his work trips several times.”
“That was Timmy?” He stumbled back, leaning on the counter. “I thought he meant, like, an MMO buddy.”
“Yeah, and you certainly never told me!” Grian huffed, which Jimmy returned.
“I did tell you, but you didn’t listen! Or did you just do that thing like with Scott where you thought I wasn’t aware I was dating the guy I lived with for two months just because I told you we hadn’t-”
“You know what?” Skizz clapped his hands together. “I think we all need to just take a deep breath, okay? Everybody just breathe. In,” He took a deep breath, of which his housemates joined in while the brothers continued to glare at each other. “And out.” They all let out a long sigh.
A brief silence fell over the group, only interrupted by a nervous knock at the door. The realtor stuck his head in, eyes darting between the group. “Um, Mister Solidarity, Mister Tek, could I speak to you now?”
“Yes, one second.” Jimmy said, voice tight. The pair left to talk outside.
Grian and Impulse went home after that, waiting for the other three to return. They said little, Grian fuming while Impulse stared at his lap like his dog just died. Zed popped in to say he was going out, at which point he was let in on the day’s events and gave them both odd looks. Had they really been the only ones who didn’t know?
By the time everyone else arrived back at the house they’d pulled themselves together somewhat. Not entirely, but enough to ask questions without shouting.
“So, you’re really leaving?” Impulse asked, voice almost watery. Tango’s posture softened with his smile, and pulled the larger man into a big hug.
“Oh, buddy, I told you I was gonna. I’m a big boy now!”
“Yeah, but… I dunno. We’ve lived together since college. I didn’t think this would actually happen…”
Skizz rubbed his back. “Hey, he ain’t movin’ cross country, he’s just down the road. We’ll see him all the time.”
“Yeah! I promise, Impy, I ain’t going nowhere.”
The three continued to talk among each other, comforting their friend, so Grian left them be. Instead, he turned his attention onto Jimmy, who still looked huffy, with his arms crossed and a glare squarely on Grian.
“I told you.”
“Well, maybe you should have told me better.” Grian turned his nose up as an almost automatic response. Jimmy threw his arms in the air and stomped off to the doorway, and immediately Grian felt the regret. He chased after his little brother. “Wait, Tim. I’m…” A warbled wheeze escaped his throat, straining to get the dreaded word out. “Ssso-…rry... That I didn’t listen.”
The shift was near-instant, disdain laxing into smugness. “There, was that so hard?”
“Immensely.”
“Oh, come off it, you big baby.”
“I just don’t get it.” Grian grabbed his hair. “How did I miss that you two were dating? Why didn’t Tango say something when we invited him to dinner?”
“Well, it probably started with the fact that you introduce me to everyone as Tim and his boyfriend’s name is Jimmy.” He sneered, eyebrow raised.
Well, he had him there. Not that he would ever admit that to his brother’s face. “I still can’t believe you ditched my party to hook up with my friend.”
“Oh my god, we didn’t hook up!” Jimmy threw his head back. “We just went to get Mcdonald’s and watch movies because Tango almost had a panic attack at the number of people you invited and couldn’t breathe.”
“In my defence, I didn’t expect that many people to actually show up.”
“Either way, stop projecting.”
“Wh- excuse me?”
“Tango’s the same as me. I can assure you nothing like that would ever happen.”
Grian pouted. Well, at least they were happy and close by. “Fine, I’ll forgive you if you can get Tango to come to roller derby night.”
“Uh, I don’t have anything I need to be forgiven for, and I’m not going to make Tango do something he doesn’t want to do.”
“But Tim, consider: Tango falling on his butt in the most hideous disco suit.”
That gave Jimmy pause, thinking for a solid moment before a smile stretched behind his hand. “Alright, fine.”
“Yes!” Grian pumped his fist into the air, nearly smacking Impulse in the face as the group joined them.
“What’s going on out here?”
“Nothing.” Both brothers replied, matching smiles immediately getting them suspicious looks. Jimmy pushed past them to grab Tango’s hand and drag him towards the basement. “C’mon, we have to finish planning.”
“Yessir.” Tango saluted with a chuckle.
As they retreated, Grian shouted after them. “Oh, Tango!”
“Yeah?” Bless his soul, he was too busy giving his partner a doofy look that was wiped away the second he turned to see Grian. He did his best to bore a hole through the man’s skull.
“You better watch your back. I know where you sleep.”
“Well, I’d hope so.” Grian didn’t like that grin. “Be weird if you didn’t know where your brother was.”
And that was how Grian began to plan the death of Tango Tek.

Itoshi Rin x Reader
SERIES!!! Pt. 1 Pt.2 Pt.3 Pt. 4 Pt. 6
Uncle Osamu!! (From Haikyuu) Summary: After getting pregnant by Rin at the age of 16, deciding that not telling him about is the best thing you could do for him. Considering his soccer career, you would only get in the way. I always imagined their red hair, the same shade as taylor swift from the all-too-well short film. It's such a beautiful shade!!! Rei's hair is also like that.

During the first half, Rin’s game was sloppy, it wasn’t as sharp compared to his last games. The coach was kind of pissed, so he yelled for itoshi to get his head in the game. Throughout the first half, Rin was only assisting and wasn’t able to score any goals. Something was wrong with him, and others noticed it too.
“Mama, is itoshi-san ok? Is he sick?”
“He probably is love. Don’t worry he’ll be fine”
The first half ended, then began their 15 min break, the coach was yelling at Rin, and I had to cover Rei’s ears because he was cursing too much.
(With Rin)
“ITOSHI! What the hell was that play?!?!?!! Do you want me to sub for you for the whole season?!?!?!? Fix whatever issues you have with yourself or else!!!” Coach walked out and I can feel my teammate's eyes on me, but I just looked at the grass below my feet.
“What the fuck was that?!?!” Shidou yelled at me, But I didn’t care. Coach wants me to fix things? So that’s what I’ll do. I ignored them all and made my way to the crowd, there were fewer people now so this was the best timing if anything.
The kid noticed me right away and started waving frantically, and my eyes softened, Now that I’m this close to them, I finally see the resemblance of Y/n in her. Y/n however is oblivious to my presence because she was talking on her phone with someone. Meanwhile, the kid was leaning over the railing trying to get a closer look at me, I was just looking back at her.
“What’s your name?”
“I’m Miya Rei!! I’m a huge fan of you! Itoshi-san!!”
I smiled at her, her voice as sweet as hers. After hearing her last name, It just confirmed every assumption and theory I had in my mind
“Is she your mom?” I pointed toward the woman beside her, She quickly nodded, and I asked her for her name, “Y/N!”
Y/N flinched at the sudden scream of her name, she looked over at Rei, noticing her sudden change of position her eyes went towards me. I couldn’t see her face well because of her mask and shades.
“Y/N”
I said, I saw her flinch a little, then she muttered my name.
“Rin…”
“Take those off for me, will you? I wanna see your face”
Rei was just astonished at the interaction. Rei had her hand up indicating for Y/n to give her the shades, she hesitantly did, then soon her mask followed.
Then my whole world stopped again. She was still as beautiful as ever, maybe even more. She leaned down the railings and I slightly flinched, This is probably my most vulnerable state ever.
“What are you doing Rin? Go back to your team”
“Can we talk after the match?”
She was about to answer, but Rei beat her to it.
“YES! But only if you win itoshi-san!!”
Y/n was speechless, but she didn’t make a move on correcting her either.
“I’ll score a lot of  goals for you both rei, ok?” She gave me the widest smile she could and nodded frantically.
Then the ref blew his whistle indicating that the 15 minutes are over. I looked at both of them one last time and said “Wait for me ok?”
“Ok!!” rei answered, Y/n just nodded, and that was enough reassurance for me.
I ran towards my team, they were all staring at me curious as to who they were. They were about to ask but I only ran towards the field not giving them a single glance.
(Back to you)
My heart is pounding, I can feel my face getting hot. He still has the same effect on me even after all these years. I can feel the stares of people around me, along with the players on the bench. They noticed the interaction, the good thing was that we were speaking in Japanese, so I was hoping that they didn't understand our conversation.
The second half began. And everyone noticed the change in Rin’s game. Suddenly he was even better, exceeding his limits. He scored 2 goals 20 minutes in. As I was holding Rei who was jumping up and down on her seat cheering for Rin, Someone tapped my shoulder.
“Are you itoshi rin’s girlfriend or are you perhaps his wife?”
The guy behind me said in English, good thing that my job needed you to be fluent in English so I understood him perfectly.
I shook my head while saying “Oh! No, hahaha I’m not. I just know him”
He seemed to let it go after Rin scored another goal. Rei cheered louder, I just held her so that she wouldn’t fall. She was cheering for the both of us, I looked at Rin who was focused on winning the game. The score was now 4 - 3 with PXG in the lead. The other team seemed to underestimate Rin after his poor play in the first half which quickly became Rin’s advantage.
Running through the players, avoiding them like they were nothing, then scoring the final score to victory, the horn blew off, marking the end of the match, and the supporters of PXG all screamed “GOALL!!!!” (and Rei too haha) The sportscasters announced that PXG won and everyone was buzzing with excitement, especially Rei, she was so happy. His team went into the field where they were,
Then I saw Rin walking towards us, while Rei’s excitement went up. Then I see him take hold of the railing and pulled himself up so that we would be eye to eye with him. Rei saw this as an opportunity to hug his waist. Now Rei was latched on to Rin. My eyes softened at her. Rin only lightly wrapped one arm around her while the other held on to the railing.
“Come and have dinner with me, You and Rei. Come down and I’ll have my manager have you wait for me in the private lobby” “I don’t know Rin… “
“Please”
“Please Mom”
I saw Rin flinch at the name Rei called me, I looked at her she was in front of me now. I sighed and agreed to his plan.
“Good, I’ll tell my manager to look out for you guys”
Rin went down the railings and talked to a guy with glasses, who I assumed was his manager. They looked over at us, he seemed to be shocked to see us, his eyes widened when he saw Rei, who was leaning over the railings waving to the other players, Already noticing the resemblance of Rin in her eyes. Those same damn teal eyes, along with the same under-lashes as Rin.
They continued talking while his manager was looking at us, and he wasn’t the only one looking at us, The people who were seated around us, who saw our interaction with Rin were now analyzing Rei and me. Having enough I put my shades back on and adjusted the scarf covering my hair.
“Yo!” I heard a voice below us call out, I looked down and saw a guy who had blonde with pink ends in his hair. I just raised an eyebrow at him while Rei was waving frantically at Loki who was beside the blonde guy. Loki waved at Rei, the other guy just looked at her weirdly and averted his attention back to me.
“Are you Rin-chan’s wife or something!?! I didn’t know he had a wife!” My eyes went wide under my shades, I looked over at Rei to see her reaction to his statement, but she was just laughing, then she responded.
“I wish he was!!” While smiling at the guy, he just shrugged it off and walked away.
“Come on Rei, let’s go down so that we can wait for Rin-san in the lobby”
“Ok!!” She was excited, she’s been keeping tabs on Rin’s games ever since she first watched his game. She really looks up to him. But I just hope that after tonight everything goes well.
When we got out of the bleachers his manager immediately approached us.
“Hi, Ms. Y/n, I’m here to accompany you to the private lobby. I just nodded and held Rei’s hand while we followed Rin’s manager.
When we entered the private lobby, there were a few people in, probably families of the players. We sat down on a leather-covered couch with a center table in front of us. Rei went off to get some snacks since Rin’s manager told us that they were free, so she went off to get some.
“Rin-san told me to give you this”
He handed me a piece of paper, on it were emails and phone numbers.
“Those are all of Rin-san’s contacts, you can call him or email him whenever you guys need him. My number is also there, just in case you need me for anything”
I just nodded and put the card in my wallet. “I’m Daisuke by the way, I’ve been with Rin for 5 years now.” He offered his hand, I took it and shook it firmly.
“Nice to meet you, I’m surprised that you put up with Rin for 5 years.”
“Well he has grown on me”
I chuckled at that. “So… who are you to Rin?”
I stiffened at his question. “I’m sorry if I’m being forward, but it is my job to keep Rin safe. And people are already getting suspicious about who you and the mystery child is. Have you seen the media?? After what happened earlier after the game when your child was hugging Rin, they are calling her your love-child or something. So is she? I need to know the truth so that I’ll know how to protect Rin”
I was kind of shocked at his statement, I did expect people to give us attention after our interaction but I didn’t think how much attention they were gonna give our way.
“Yes, of course, I understand. The last time I saw Rin was 10 years ago, I haven’t had any contact with him ever since, I didn’t come here for money or anything, Me and Rei can manage on our own. We did just come here to watch the game, The owner of the company I work in, Mikage Corp., They’re the reason why we’re here. Rin doesn’t know that Rei is his daughter, But I think he already has an idea that she is his. I didn’t tell him because I didn’t wanna get in the way of him and soccer.”
“You should have still told me you know”
I flinched at the voice, I turned my head and saw Rin standing behind me with Rei in his arms. She seemed to have heard everything I said, she looked like she was processing everything I just said. I looked at Daisuke with betrayal evident on my face.
‘traitor’
“At the time, it seemed like the best option…” I stood up so I was facing him, I looked at Rei, she was holding some food, her head was resting on Rin’s shoulder, and her doe eyes turned to look at me. I was getting nervous about her reaction.
‘Is she gonna be mad because I didn’t tell her?
She’s gonna hate me now…”
“Is, Rin-san my dad?” She looked at me expectantly, I took off my mask along with my shades so they could see my face when I say “Yes, he is. I’m sorry I didn’t tell you sooner. If you’re mad at me I understand.” I lowered my head with shame, but I felt Rin reach out for my hand, and I let him. Then I heard sniffles.
“I’m not mad mama, just sad that you didn’t tell me sooner though…” I looked back at her and saw her lightly crying as she hugged Rin. I held on to Rin’s hand as I jumped over the couch and hugged both of them.
“I’m sorry that I hid her from you”
“I forgive you, you’re here now aren’t you?”
I nodded and relished the moment of having both of them in my arms.

I loveee your writing!!! I want reader to be with Eros right now!!! Would you right more soft content about them???
Of course! I’m happy people like my writing! I’ll write whatever you guys request! It’s really fun to hear your guys’ ideas .
Description: Eros the yandere Cupid, soft content, lots of feelings, I’m glad you guys love him so much! He’s prolly one of my favs too!
Tumblr media
You were comfortable in the sheets of your own bed, of course with your beloved Cupid hugging you tightly as if you were a stuffed animal. You could feel his face so close to yours. You’ve gotten accustomed to waking up and seeing how close the both of you were.
You found your phone under one of your pillows and moved as much as Eros would let you before grumbling and pulling you back closer. You checked the time and saw it was 9:41 am. Pretty early to wake up when you had nothing to do today.
You thought it would be fun to go out to a park, maybe some grocery shopping before so you could make sandwiches and stuff. You decided that was the plan for the day! You’d just have to wake up Eros which was probably the most challenging thing to do when he was especially comfortable.
You shook Eros and he whined not wanting to wake up. He mumbled incoherent words and covered his face with the blankets.
“Mmph, what do you want” He mumbled, now being able to speak coherently.
“Cmon, we gotta get ready” You were persistent on getting this lazy Cupid out of bed, despite the fact you were still in bed too.
“For what? You don’t have work or anything..” He yawned, somewhat curious on why you intended to leave the comfort of your own bed. He was also interested in what you wanted him for.
“I wanna go grocery shopping and maybe a picnic! Do you wanna come or no? If not I’ll just go by myself” You knew that Eros would never even think about leaving you alone outside of the house. It was always really funny to see his dumbfounded face that you even suggested to go alone.
“I’m up! Just.. let me fully wake up” He drowsily untangled himself from the sheets and held your hand so you could lead him to the bathroom while he rubbed his eye.
“So I’m thinking we get some food from the grocery store nearby, and then we go to that one park that’s like two streets down. What do you think?” You were alert and ready for anything despite it being the morning, which was never the greatest time for the either of you. You were excited for the day though! So your need to go out kept you up.
“M’kay, do you think we could get some snacks though? I think we’re running out” He got his toothbrush out of the ceramic holder that kept the both of yours. You honestly felt like you had a roommate rather than Eros being your personal cupid.
You didn’t mind though, you liked living with him. It was fun and probably wasn’t the best thing for the buried feelings that resided in your heart about him though.
“Of course we can, you just gotta stop raiding the pantry when you’re bored. You’re supposed to eat when you’re hungry.” You sighed.
“It’s the same thing!”
After you and Eros were done getting ready you made sure you had everything you needed. You’d get the things from the store, come back to the house, prepare the food, and then have the picnic! Maybe after the picnic then the two of you could watch a new movie.
“Keys, phone, money, do you have everything?!”You called out to Eros who was rushing around doing something. Luckily, he had remembered to hide his wings away so they weren’t there anymore nor was his halo. You could only imagine all the dumbfounded stares if he walked into the store with giant wings.
“Yeah! I’m just looking for uhm…” He forgot what the word was but he knew it was a type of clothing! He just couldn’t find it nor remember the word.
“I have your jacket! Let’s go!” You rushed Eros out and he quickly went into the car, waiting for you. In record time you followed close behind him and made sure to lock the door.
The grocery list wasn’t awfully long, just things needed for a good picnic. You didn’t have bread so you needed that, and also some fruits! While you were contemplating what was more important, Eros was watching you patiently.
He was wondering why you were so eager today to go out but he didn’t mind! He loved hanging out with you, but cuddling in bed on a cold morning was something that not even good food could beat.
He thought your focused face was adorable, the way your eyebrows furrowed and your eyes scanned everything. He was secretly hoping you’d notice him staring and smile at him. It was always refreshing to see your face lighten up.
“Do you think we need grapes? They’re a good snack with other foods. They have green and purple ones.” You softly elbowed Eros so he’d pay attention to the grapes in front. He looked away from you for the first time in a bit and looked at the fruits.
“They look interesting, let’s get them!” He had no idea what grapes tasted like but they looked like little candies so that was a good sign!
“Okay! We just need the bread, I already have mayo and ham at the house” You also grabbed some packaged watermelon that was already sliced.
“What about drinks?” Eros held your hand following you to the bread aisle. You pushed the cart with one hand and had good control on it so you didn’t mind using only one.
“Yeah, we should get some juice or soda” You couldn’t believe you almost forgot drinks, it might be a little hotter than usual.
You found the aisle right after getting the bread, the store was familiar but it’s inevitable to forget something about the store. Eros was staring down another person down the aisle who was suspiciously observing you and him.
You were too focused on which pack of juices you should bring, 2, 6, 8, 12? It was a lot of options for an indecisive individual like you.
Eros flipped off the guy down the aisle and it finally made him fuck off and look away. He honestly didn’t really know what it truly meant, he just knew people used it at each other when they were angry or annoyed. He saw it on the TV a couple of times but never asked you what the entire meaning was.
“Alright, let’s just do this box of 6. Might be a lot for two but it’s gonna get hot out so it’s better to be safer than sorry” You made sure to check back at your list again.
You added a few more snacks to the cart but that was all you needed so you started to head towards the self-check out section. You thought for a moment that Eros was lost but he was just staring at some shirts that looked weird to him.
“I’ll scan, just bag the things I give you” You told him to make sure he wasn’t going to do something dumb.
“Got it!” He was rather quick with bagging. He liked to be helpful to you if it was going to make you happy. He liked doing a lot of things for you, he would do anything for you, he was just scared his love would be a little overwhelming for you.
The recent trip to the store was concluded and the two of you quickly assembled the sandwiches and snacks into good serving sizes. You organized all of it into a bag and back on the road to the nearby park.
The weather was nice, there was good shade under the trees and Eros managed to find a perfect spot! You set up most of the things up like the blanket while Eros unpacked the food. He saw there was other couples doing picnics as well somewhat far away.
“Do you think it would be weird for a Cupid to date their human?” He wasn’t even sure why he was asking. He honestly prayed to any god that you hadn’t heard his question.
“I don’t think so, If it’s a true love between a Cupid and human then why stop their love? Cupids are all about love so why would they shame love between two people just because they’re different” You looked out into the bright sky, the wind felt nice on your face. Was he asking for someone else? Or did he.. like you?
“Yeah.. I don’t think love can be stopped at all if it’s genuine and strong.” He fiddled with his fingers, worrying wether he should speak up or not. What would he do if you rejected him? Kick him out? Ignore him for the rest of your life? He was so scared of what could happen if it went wrong.
“I love you.. a lot” He sighed after his short but impactful words. If you reject him then he’ll have to deal with it somehow, either keeping you to himself no matter what, or respecting your decision and guiding your love life as a normal Cupid as best as he can.
You couldn’t process his words at first. He was confessing to you? He wanted to be with you! The guy you’ve been fawning over ever since you saw him!
“I understand if you don’t love me back it’s oka—“
You cupped Eros’s face kissing him directly on his lips. He made a surprised hum but kissed you back. He closed his eyes, greedily enjoying the kiss as long as you let him.
You panted letting go of this kiss and even you were surprised yourself. You had never been reckless like that before but he always had you feeling unsure and confused. So it was time you were confident!
“I love you too!” You felt intense warmth on your cheeks, stronger than ever before and you could see intense red on his face as well.
Both of you stared at each other for awhile in surprise before he knocked you down with a hug. You felt the air in your lungs knocked out but you didn’t care. All you did was laugh against his weight as he rambled about his nervousness about confessing.
“I didn’t even know whether you saw me like that!” He helped you sit up, and stared at you lovingly.
“I’m so happy I think my wings might appear!” He knew when his emotions were a little too strong like happiness then his wings would pop up if they were hidden before.
“How about we cut the picnic short, go home, watch a movie and cuddle? You can let your wings flutter in happiness when we’re home” You laughed at his excited face after hearing your words.
“Yeah!! Let’s go” He helped you hastily pack up everything, not caring about the picnic anymore. Cuddling with you in bed was much better!
And that’s what happened, you were in bed with Eros. He was more than just your cupid now! He clung onto you more than usual and peppered kisses all over you since you now allowed him.
You fell asleep in his arms first, despite the movie playing, you found his warmth to be more interesting than watching it. He grabbed the remote and turned off the movie, snuggling as close as he could and softly wrapping his wings around you.

Behind the mask (Ferran Torres x Reader) / Halloween '23
Tumblr media
Masterlist
Wattpad
On the night of the 31st of October, the whole Barça squad was divided in between two houses. Both Pedri and Ter Stegen decided to organize Halloween parties, and so their teammates had to either attend one or the other…and some attended both.
For Ferran, it was an easy choice. He had to go to his bestie’s party. Ter Stegen would understand. What no one understood well was his costume.
“Why do you have a chainsaw in your arm?”“Is that from that chainsaw movie? The one with the massacre?”
Had none of them watched the Evil Dead movies? He shook his head and stopped answering questions about his costume. If they couldn’t appreciate the genius that Ash Williams was, it was their loss. But it turned out that not everyone in the party was as uncultured as his teammates.
“Love the costume, mister Williams”, said a female voice, making Ferran turn to look at her.
“Thank you…what are you supposed to be dressed as? No one gets my costume and now I look lame not knowing yours”.
The woman laughed and sat down in one of the kitchen chairs. “I’m Dollface, from the movie The Strangers. I’ll take it you haven’t seen it”.
“I can’t say I have. Is it any good? Or does it just make for a good costume?”
“Don’t tell me you actually don’t like Evil Dead and just dressed as Ash because he’s hot”.
“I love Evil Dead”.
That made you smile. It was your favourite franchise. “Well, this makes for a good and comfortable costume. But the movie is also good. I would recommend you watch it”.
Ferran sat down next to you. Your voice was so beautiful and so…captivating. He felt like he couldn’t leave the room without talking to you more.
“So what’s your name?”
“Let’s say I’m Dollface tonight”.
“Come on. Do you know who I am? Because if you do, then it’s a bit unfair I don’t know your name”.
You laughed and Ferran felt it again. That attraction towards you. He was going to find out who you were.
"I do know. I'm surprised you didn't dress as a shark, actually".
"Too on the nose", he laughed.
You both kept talking and his frustration kept growing, because you wouldn't take the mask off.
"Do you want a drink?", he offered, knowing you would need to take it off to drink, right?
"I would love one, yes. Diet coke or something similar. I'll be driving home. I don't want to drink".
"Got it".
He knew the house well and found the sodas quickly, pouring one in a glass for you.
"Oh wow, I get the good glasses and not paper cups. Fancy".
"Well, you're sober so I trust you won't drop it".
He kept looking at you, expecting the mask to be off soon. But then you looked around, got up, picked up a straw and started to drink without fully removing the mask. Was that some kind of joke? Ferran could only see your lips and chin. That was about it. There was a little beauty mark on your chin, though. So he tried to memorize that for when he maybe saw you around the party later, finally without a mask on.
But that didn't happen. He got a text from one of his teammates, asking where he was. And he knew he couldn't just ignore all of them the whole party.
"My friends want to see me. You could come too. Or I could see you later, maybe?"
"I'll be around. I'm sure you'll find me", you said.
But he didn't see you again after that.
Hours later, the only people left in the house were Pedri and his brother. And Ferran who offered to help tidy up a little. But there was also a selfish reason why he stayed there.
"So, ummm…do you have a list of the people who were here tonight?"
Pedri raised an eyebrow. What an odd question. "No. Why do you ask?"
"Just curious".
"Did you like a girl or something and want to find out if I have her number?"
"Sort of. Not the number just…the name would be enough".
"Didn't you ask for her name?"
"I did. But she didn't want to tell me".
"What did she look like?"
"I don't know".
Pedri laughed. He knew his friend could be weird but this was too much.
"Are you drunk?"
"No, you idiot. She had a mask on and I didn't get to see her face. But I was talking to her for almost an hour”.
“So that’s where you were. Speaking to ghosts”.
Ferran shook his head. Pedri wasn't going to help. No one was going to help. He was never going to find out who Dollface really was.
**
A couple of weeks passed and the Halloween party seemed to be just an afterthought. But sometimes, Ferran still thought about the mysterious girl he talked to.
"Yes, I'm going to order a coffee now, mum. I'll talk to you later. Bye".
He hung up the phone and ordered his coffee. After paying for it, he moved to wait for it at the end of the bar. There were a few people there and he noticed them looking. He was used to it already. But someone was looking at him more boldly.
"Hi", he said. And then noticed the beauty mark on the chin. His eyes went from it to your eyes, trying to work out what was happening. "Is it really you?"
"Hello again. I see you found me".

...He raised his eyebrows in surprise at that. Favorite people? Was he included on that list? Julieta just smiled and turned back to the dishes. It took Bruno a moment, but he also slowly resumed his duties, finding he couldn't put away the little smile on his own face that had arrived at the thought that he might be someone's favorite.
I drew from my fic La Traes again for @encantober-official Day 2 - siblings. This scene is a little exchange that happens between the triplets--the OG siblings. You can find the whole thing below the cut.
“You need to get out of the house, hermanito,” Julieta had said to him gently one evening after dinner as they washed dishes together. “It’s…been a while, sí?”
“Eso se queda corto,” Pepa had mumbled as she dumped some more dishes into the soapy water, earning a glare from both of her siblings. [ That's an understatement.] She widened her eyes at them as if to say What? Am I wrong?
“I’m just saying ,” Julieta continued, pointedly moving past Pepa’s comment, “that it might do you some good, to have a little more change of scenery.”
“I-I think I’m doing just fine,” he replied a bit defensively. And he did. He went for walks with Dolores around the perimeter of Casita, down to the river where it ran past the southwest edge of the grassy lawn. Sometimes he’d wander out back behind the house, napping in the afternoon sun before it disappeared behind the mountainous wall that guarded the back of their home. Compared to the previous ten years, he was a veritable expeditionist now.
“Of course you are,” Pepa said, putting an arm around his shoulders. He hunched them in response, glancing at her suspiciously.
“Y-yeah?”
“Yeah! You’ve made it to the edge of the grass! That’s like, what, un kilómetro cuadrado, yeah? A completely normal amount of space for a person to exist in.”
[One square kilometer.] Bruno’s frown deepened. “You’re mocking me.”
Pepa winked at him.
“A-alright, alright,” he said, waving his hands in the air beside his head in surrender. “I’ll, uh, I'll go to the banana fields tomorrow. As long as it’s not a harvest day,” he added, pointing a finger at Julieta, who rolled her eyes good-naturedly at him. “Or an irrigation day. Or you know…a-a day with other, um, other people there.”
The busyness of rebuilding Casita last year had given him enough social interaction outside his immediate family to last him quite a while…a very long while. Thankfully, he’d been able to largely lose himself in the organized chaos of it all, and Mirabel had been particularly helpful, working as a liaison between him and anyone he’d had to interact with, smoothing the awkwardness away with her easy conversation and joyful presence. And he had managed to largely ignore the curious stares that came from, well, from pretty much everyone until the novelty of his return had worn off. Well…at least he had pretended to ignore them.
“I don’t want to pressure you, arenoso,” Julieta said gently, putting a slightly soapy hand on his shoulder. “I just don’t want…”
…don’t want you to get lost again. She’d let her sentence trail off, but the unspoken ending hung awkwardly in the air anyway. They’d both turned back to their dishes, with Pepa standing stiffly beside them, hugging a freshly dried plate to her stomach. The cloud above her head darkened just a little. Bruno winced down at the soapy water as the silence surrounding them grew painful.
“H-hey, maybe you can spend the day with Antonio tomorrow?" Pepa offered nervously, popping the tension like a soap bubble. "He needs a…a break …from routine, too."
Bruno and Julieta looked at their sister with matching frowns, both narrowing their eyebrows in concern. It would have been comical or even sweet to see the same expression mirrored between her two siblings again…if she didn’t feel the weight of the very same concern pulling down the corners of her own mouth.
Antonio had been struggling to find a place for himself in the Madrigal visits to town. Before his gift, he might have shyly clung to Mirabel’s skirts or played in the dirt while Pepa rained on the fields, never quite brave enough to venture out to play with the other children on his own, refusing to speak to the adults that smiled down at him. Pepa worried about his shyness.
But now a different problem had presented itself. Antonio was now more than happy to engage with anyone and everyone, possessing a newfound courage with his animal friends by his side, but his animal friends were also decidedly wild, and even Antonio could not control every move they made. Just last week, some monkeys that had trailed him into the town had wandered away and found some storage crates of fruit, working together to drop them from the roof of a nearby house until the crates smashed open and spilled out a feast that was then fit only for them. The owner of the crates had not been happy.
Most of the jungle animals had largely maintained a healthy, fearful distance from the bustling, busy streets of the Encanto for the fifty years it had occupied the valley, but Antonio’s warmth and friendship seemed to have blurred that boundary, and Abuela was struggling to find a balance between loving encouragement and civic order. And when Abuela struggled with something, all the Madrigals struggled with her, in one way or another.
“...Mamá suggested that maybe Antonio might spend some time in the forest paths, playing with his gift,” Pepa explained, putting away the plate so she could pull at her braid. A knowing glance between all three siblings conveyed the underlying meaning of the word play—learn to get it under control. “Félix was going to take him, but you two get along so well, Bruno. Maybe you could spend some time with him, and you both could enjoy the fresh air. You know. Bonding?”
Bruno blew out an exaggerated breath, his cheeks puffing and his shoulders dropping dramatically. He pulled his mouth to the side and looked at Pepa with an expression of reluctant concession. How could he say no to a whole day with his sobrino? He loved the kid. And the very fact that Abuela had been the one to suggest the break from town…well. He knew what that felt like. No matter how nicely she put it, how lovingly she intended it, he knew it would feel like a punishment to Antonio. That thought…well that thought broke his heart a little.
“...F-fine,” he mustered in response. “We’ll go for a walk in the–- ” he swallowed dryly“ –- i-in the forest.”
A bit of sunlight broke through from behind the cloud above Pepa’s head, and Bruno couldn’t help but flash a small, crooked smile up at it. She pulled him sideways by his collar and planted a kiss on his cheek, which he winced at but accepted gratefully. Julieta nudged him with her hip.
“There you go! That will be fun,” she said happily, clearly convinced this was a fantastic solution for all parties. Bruno was not so sure. “Take Mirabel with you, too, if you want. You know she’d love to join her two favorite people for the day.”
Bruno had raised his eyebrows in surprise at that. Favorite people? Was he included in that list? Julieta had just smiled and turned back to the dishes. It had taken Bruno a moment, but he also slowly resumed his duties, finding he couldn’t put away the little smile on his own face that had arrived at the thought that he might be someone’s favorite.
So here he was now, sharing a picnic blanket with a sloth and a capybara—among other crawling, flittering things—nursing a bruised ego after having been tackled by a six year old on a jaguar, all because he was a pushover who couldn’t say no to time with his sobrinos.
Caray. The things I get myself into…

I’ll respond to as many of the scenarios you listed as I can let’s see
Draconis would at first be looking for the starholder, not really trusting this place, but when he finds Chapter he’ll probably just leave him there, he only takes stars from people he deems evil and it’s not like this guy is hurting people. He debates bringing him back to reality but isn’t sure he’d react well to that.
Bold of you to assume Draconis will let them be dismissive of him. He’s probably going into dragon form to pick them up and examine them. Not like he has any fear of any of em. Draconis doesn’t know enough about Antares’ world to want to steal his star, he’s just having fun messing with them.
Draconis would just be curious of Runaway Eclipse, no real taunting just talking to him
Honey isn’t deemed evil so no star theft there, although he’d probably offer to take them to his world to help fix Cider.
Draconis will humor Beastmaker for a bit, maybe going dragon form when they try to transform him. He is secretly planning star theft though
Depends on the deal Blue Moon tries making with him, but the initial attack will lead to Draconis taunting him a bit. I mean Draconis has five stars on his body alone, so I can’t imagine the star hating guy has a very good reaction to that.
Ahh. I wasn't quite sure What type of star sealer he was. There's quite a bit more scenarios that would be interesting but we'll go with we got.
I mean chapter is just sitting in a closet asleep with maybe his Star chucked to the side. Chapter is literally just sleeping silently. Although it's clear from like the dust and cobwebs that are literally on his person that he's been sleeping for a really long time. If they do wake him up he will be grouchy and asking why the hell would they disturb him from his dream space. His only friends are there.
I mean everyone will be very upset about being picked up. But they aren't exactly surprised by the dragon? How depending on where he is Horn, Black Stars pet dragon might get territorial. Most of them will be grouching about how he's just trying to get attention because he's too prideful to realize that his life is a waste. And most of them all assuming since he's definitely not Sun, he must be an eclipse.
As long as they are at first very nice runaway won't run away at first. He'll exchange a simple greeting and say he seems like the strongest powerful thing around here. And he will be very obviously somewhat terrified and just hoping he doesn't try and kill him.
Honey will be thankful for any sort of help. He isn't really sure Cider is fixable. Seeing the horrors of the universe is not something you can quite program out. But a more hospitable place will be greatly appreciated. Although cider might quietly mumble that he doesn't want to leave Apple behind. Apple being the wither storm that did this to their universe in the first place.
Beastmaker is a mix of childlike wonder and recklessness to the point of being near suicidal. The dragon though will just impress him heavily. He enjoys it very very much. He wants it very much for himself. Also good luck getting the star. Because he's basically merged with it. Or maybe it's the whistle. I've never honestly thought where the star is.
I mean Blue Moon's not going to be the one making a deal. They want this man dead. Honestly Blue Moon will tell him he's abusing power that shouldn't be his. Plus the fact that, ahh. Well Blue Moon's going to be glowing like a freaking god. Blue moon gets magical power from the stars. Not the direct Creation magic boost. But basically it's like he's taking the magic from all the stars and merging it into some powerful ass spells. Blue Moon will probably match him in magical strength.

Maybe some elaboration for ur idea folder post on getting caught smoking by Tim
And maybe the "roughing you up again" one just curious about the two :)
so for the caught smoking:
Tim is like— a couple years out of high school at most. he’s back in his home town for the summer, but he’ll be headed back to college soon. he decides for old times sake to visit his old smoking spot, but dammit, he’s forgotten his cigarettes! fortunately it seems reader, a shy, shaky little high school senior, has decided to make this their smoking spot too, though it’s clear they have no idea what they’re doing. they keep looking around to make sure no one is watching, and it takes way too many times for them to light the damn thing. once they finally do Tim reveals himself, and reader instantly freezes with panic at the realization they’ve been caught.
tim doesn’t reprimand them, though. no, instead he tilts their head up towards him and take the lit cigarette from their mouth. he takes a drag of it like it’s nothing, not moving his head from reader’s chin.
“…you do this often?” he drawls, biting back a laugh when reader frantically shakes their head.
“no sir, i swear! t-this is the first time…”
“good. these things will kill ya, you know.”
tim finally releases their face, stepping back and blowing a bit of smoke into the air.
“you’re gonna keep bringing me these every day, got that? shit ain’t cheap no more.”
reader doesn’t really have any choice but to agree, too fearful that they’ll be exposed if they don’t listen.
of course, though, these little meet ups won’t be just a simple exchange of cigarettes for very long.
and for the second idea:
tim used to be a bit of an ass in high school. not a bully per se, but a jerk, and reader was unlucky enough to always be in his line of sight. they were sheepish and too afraid to say anything, which made it easy. he won’t admit it, but sometimes he wonders if he just liked the feeling of pushing someone around.
after a bad bout of memory loss, tim finds himself back in his hometown, confused and not sure how he got there. after a bit of walking and contemplating his life, he stumbles into a convenient store to see reader of all people behind the counter.
he’s pissed. he’s frustrated. his old punching bag is right there…
he needs the stress relief.
he coerces them into the back room, pushing them against a table and grasping both their wrists in one hand.
“i’ll strike you a deal, yeah?” he growls, dark eyes swimming with need, “you let me push you around like i used to, and we both get off. sound good?”
full disclosure both of these ideas are inspired by art by @/nsfwshroom on twitter. go check them out their shit fucks

Redacted Incorrect Quotes Pt. ?
Haha you really thought my lazy ass was gonna work on WIPs? Nah. Have some redacted incorrect quotes based on tweets I saw, either on the app or screenshots of.
No I don’t care if the dashes are uneven.
Redacted Masterlist
----
Angel: *Flirting poorly with Davey at the grocery store* Hey so do you eat food often?
----
Sweetheart: Curious George is not a monkey because he has no tail. He is an ape. He will grow into a silverback gorilla and kill the man with the yellow hat in a display of dominance.
Milo: I’m literally just trying to read to Aggro.
-----
Milo: I love when kittens yell, but their heads are too big so they squint.
----
Guy: Roommate broke up with boyfriend that cooks for us. Excuse me while I go die.
----
Angel: In 1920 we took children out of the coal mine. In 2020 the most popular game on the market is minecraft.
Baabe: Children yearn for mines.
-----
*3 AM*
No one:
LITERALLY no one:
Asher, in wolf form: I wonder if I can break the record with how loud I can lick my paw.
-----
Darlin: If civilization crumbles, I have a little flashlight in a drawer somewhere.
---
Sweetheart: Paul McCartney’s “Wonderful Christmastime” is about friends practicing magic but when someone walks in they have to play it cool.
Milo: No. It isn’t.
Sweetheart: *starts singing* The moon is bright, the spirits up. We’re here tonight, and that’s enough. *whispers* This is the part where someone comes in. *Continues pointedly* Simply having a wonderful christmastime!
----
Angel: My husband gives people a thumbs down instead of flicking them off when driving. He reports that a thumbs down makes them a lot more angry.
----
Adam: I would be such a good “dead wife”. Like, can you imagine how good I would look in a dead wife flashback sequence? Someone make me their “dead wife.
----
David: As a kid I thought Simba was crazy for running away after the death of Mufasa. But now watching it as an adult, I get it. It did look pretty incriminating of him leading Mufasa to that gorge. Witnesses saw him singing “I just can’t wait to be king.” A persecutor could do some real damage with that conviction.
----
Honey: I don’t like the saying “don’t speak ill of the dead”. It always struck me as disingenuous. People are multi-layered. Yes, I did light up a room. But I also stole my roommate’s milk to make mac and cheese blackout hammered. Let’s acknowledge both sides.
----
David, giving a pep talk to the pack: For anyone feeling down, just remember Velveeta cheese has been on the market since 1918. If trash cheese can succeed, so can you. And for anyone who likes Velveeta cheese, I’m sorry. I’m sorry you like trash cheese.
----
Angel: Lying awake thinking about the time I ordered a giant magikarp plush from Japan but then got refunded because the plushie got crushed under a shipping container.
----
Asher, and maybe Guy too: I’m here if you need moron support. It’s like moral support but I’m stupid.
-----
David: If I have to throw a party for my pack, it will be breakfast. Not lunch. Not dinner. It will start at 8:30 am so there is a valid reason for no one to come and I can kick them out before noon because I only promised breakfast, not lunch. The introverts will win even if it kills me.
----
Milo and Ollie: My cat has no responsibilities, but all day he walks from around the house, from room to room, with this sense of purpose, as if he has a long to-do list of tasks no one asked for. Just a weird small furry dude going about his little cat errands.
----
Freelancer: Aww my microbiome fancies some high quality fermented foods, does it? A little kombucha perhaps? I don’t give a shit. I’m a megabiome, I do what I want. I’m having a fanta lemon. I’ll swallow coins.

Sweet Things
Writing pointless huntlow fluff in preparation for For The Future, indulge me.
---
“Wow Willow, you really went all out with the florals!” Luz exclaimed as she opened the door for the plant witch and her impressive selection of dahlias in every possible color.
“Thanks!” Willow said brightly, setting them down to go prepare a vase. “They reminded me of your mom’s tablecloth I found in the hall closet so I thought it would be a fun addition to our special dinner for tonight!”
“It’ll be like an explosion of color!” Luz exclaimed, examining the colorful folded fabric Willow had placed on the counter. “We haven’t gotten to use that tablecloth in awhile, it’s got a huge rip on the side from when I tried to use it as a parachute.”
“Oh, I didn’t even notice,” said Willow, making a mental note to ask about that story later on. “Well, I bet Hunter could fix it.” She finished filling the case with water and called out to the next room. “Hey, hon?”
“Yes?” Came Hunter’s voice, quickly followed by him sticking his head in the doorway.
“Do you think you could fix the tear in the table cloth for me? I wanna make the table look fancy and it matches the flowers I made for the center piece perfectly.”
“Of course!” Hunter said brightly, walking over to take the fabric from the counter. He gathered some sewing supplies from the drawer in the kitchen and set up at the kitchen table as he accessed the work that needed to be done.
“Yay! Thanks so much,” said Willow with a smile, placing the flowers in the vase and admiring the presentation. “I’m gonna go finish up some things outside then I’ll be back to help set the table.”
As Hunter and Willow went to carry on with their tasks, Luz said at the counter wondering if she had misheard Willow. As Hunter focused on his repair work, Luz looked at him with confusion as though an explanation was in order. After a minute, he looked up to find her eye on him and offered her his own look of confusion. “What?”
“Willow just called you ‘hon.’” She stated as though he wasn’t aware.
“Yeah?” he said, not seeing her point. “It’s short for Hunter, like Hun-ter.”
“Are you sure it’s not short for ‘honey?”
“I mean, she calls me that sometimes too,” he said nonchalantly. “But, I guess that’s not technically short for Hunter since it’s the same amount of syllables.”
“Hunter, Willow is not calling you honey because it’s short for Hunter.”
“I know, I just said it’s the same amount-.”
“No dude, I think she means honey likes actual honey.”
Well, maybe? I guess it’s probably because my hair is yellow which is the same color as honey.” Hunter reasoned. “I mean, her palisman is a bee so it makes sense she would know a decent amount about that.”
“Hmmm maybe,” said Luz, not convinced. “But I think it’s because she thinks you’re so sweet just like honey.” She reached out to pinch his cheek and used the baby voice she would speak to King with. “Aww, look at you! Willow’s widdle honey baby boy.”
“Stop that!” he said, turning his face away from her. “It’s probably just because she really likes bees-.”
“Or because she really likes yoooou.” said Luz, not convinced or willing to be wrong about this. “Alot of people call someone honey when they’re, ya know, more than friend.”
The tips of Hunter’s ears turned bright red at the suggestion.
“W-w-well that’s just silly!” He said, not sounding like he believed his own words. “I’ve never heard you and Amity call each other that!”
“No, but she calls me her batata which means sweet potato,” said Luz.
“Do... all terms of endearment have to be food related?”
“I mean, I guess not?” said Luz. “But honey is a pretty common one.”
“What are... other common ones?” Said Hunter clearing his throat, trying to seem like he was focused on his sewing and internally hyperventilating about how oblivious he possibly was.
“Whyyyy?” Asked Luz with a smirk that seemed to read his mind.
“No reason, just curious,” he lied, as there very much was a reason.
“I dunno like ‘sweetie’ I guess?” Luz racked her mind for a list of examples.
Hunter squeaked. Luz looked over and saw he had stabbed himself with a needle, as though something about what she said had distracted him.
She gave a little gasp. “Does she call you sweetie?” Luz asked, raising her eyebrow.
“Sometimes?”
“Hunter!”
“She calls me a lot of things!” He said, sucking on the tip of the finger he has stabbed. “I mean, okay, she calls me flower names-.”
“What? Like what?!”
“She calls me daffodil, sometimes...” Hunter said quietly, the redness from his ears spreading to the rest of his face. “And like, sunflower I guess. But it’s not-.”
“Well you can’t deny that Willow loves flowers,” teased Luz with a smirk. ”Awww, are you her little flower?”
“Wellmaybeiamandyourejustjealous.” Hunter mumbled quickly and almost too quietly.
“What was that?” Luz joyfully inquired.
“Maybe I am and you’re just jealous,” repeated Hunter, not looking at her as he tried to focus on threading his needle. “I mean, you can’t expect me to believe that Willow doesn’t give nicknames to anyone else.”
“There’s a difference between a nickname and a term of endearment.”
That much Hunter did know. He knew what titles commanded respect and which ones were meant to ridicule. The only other nicknames he had received had been negative or ironic, two things Willow was definitely not towards him. He knew the nicknames she gave him came from a place of admiration, but he never dared to dream that it was such a... unique admiration.
“So like, someone would use these terms for someone they... liked?” Hunter asked carefully.
“More than just liked.” Luz said. “Like, liked-liked.”
“Sometimes like which times?” Hunter asked urgently. “Like, is it possible it’s just a coincidence and it’s just purely platonic because Willow just has a vast knowledge of plants that resemble my hair color?”
“I mean, some people use them that way, yeah,” said Luz trying to hide the delight she took in Hunter’s panicked expression. “But I’ve never heard Willow call anyone else ‘honey.’ In fact, I think that’s what her dads call each other. Ya know, her dads who are in looove.”
“So that could be... why.” Hunter said slowly, unable to deny that it made sense. Unable to deny that he was kind of glad that it did.
“Do you have any nicknames for her?” Luz asked, putting her hand under her chin as she took delight in watching Hunter process this new possibility.
“I mean, I call her Captain but that’s more her title than a nickname,” said a Hunter, searching his mind. “Should I have one for her?”
“I mean, if you want to, yeah,” said Luz. “It’s not like a requirement or anything but it could be a cute way to let her know that you like her too.”
“I’m not... very good nicknames,” admitted Hunter and Luz noted happily that he did not deny the implication that he liked Willow. “Most of the ones I've given have had more literal connotations and not in a nice way. And I’ve never really had a reason to use a term of endearment, what are some good ones?”
“My dude, you’ve come to the right place,” assured Luz, pulling out her phone where she kept a list in her notes for just such an occasion.
-
Hunter sat at the table looking down at his hands as he practiced what he wanted to say in his head. When Willow walked through the door he stood up, holding the folded tablecloth close to his chest as she reentered the kitchen, trying to seem relaxed.
“Oh, uh hi!” He said as though he had not been waiting for her to return. He held the result of his labor out to her. “I finished the tablecloth. Good as new.”
“Oh no, it’s even better!” She smiled, taking it from him to admire the skillful repair. She unfolded it and twirled around the kitchen with it like she had just been given a gown for the ball.  “Now it’s got that special Hunter touch, thanks so much buttercup!”
“Of course!” He said, taking the use of the word as a sign to test the waters. “Anytime... babe.”
Willow stopped spinning as her ears perked at the word and she quickly turned her head from admiring the craftsmanship to looking at him in slight disbelief. “What did you say?”
Hunter gulped. Maybe she really just hadn’t heard him?
“I said, uh, anytime babe.” He repeated quicker, leaning against the doorframe hoping it sounded more natural this time as he landed the sentiment with finger guns. He tried not to linger on the word so it wouldn’t seem like her was trying so hard but he did want her to notice so she would notice that he noticed that she-
“Oh, yeah,” Willow cleared her throat. “That’s uh, that’s what I thought you said.” Her voice seemed labored, as though she was trying to adjust her breathing. “Well, uh thanks again... uh Hunter.”
Just Hunter? No marigold? No honey? Not even dandelion? Titan, he had ruined everything! Why had he listened to Luz? Willow hadn’t been calling him those things because she liked him more than a friend! She was just being creative!
“Of course, of course,” he said, now seeing it was his turn to steady his breathing. “Maybe we should uh, start setting up the table? Camila will be back with the take out soon.”
“Yeah, I wonder if we’ll need any sugar.” Willow pondered, still learning when sugar was needed and when salt was meant to be put out.
“Any what?” Hunter asked as though she had not finished her thought.
Willow looked at him with a raised eyebrow before she understood what he thought he had heard her say. “Oh no, I meant actual sugar,  like for the table.” Willow clarified, a soft crimson dancing across the bridge of her nose as she realized he had a reason to be confused; she had called him that numerous times.
“Right, right yes of course,” said Hunter, embarrassed trying to look busy as he fetched the plates from the higher cabinet. “But um would you... like if we put sugar on the table? Like, would you say that you... like sugar?”
“Well yeah, I like sweet things,” she said as she gathered the forks and knives. She looked across the table at him, meticulously placing the plates an even distance from each other. Clover flew over and sat atop his head, resting peacefully like Hunter was the sweetest smelling flower she had ever come across. Hunter was so used to this action by now that it did not deter his focus and he subconsciously reached up and scratched her head with his finger and the palisman nuzzled against it affectionately. “You of all people should know that.”

On a cold sunday in november, you were so exhausted from all the homework you had this week, you decided you needed a long, hot bath to decompress. Well, more like Seonghwa, your best friend, helped you finish your homework early and forced you to rest because he could see you needed some. You obviously went to the prefect bathroom because it was rarely used and very comfortable.
You opened the door after giving the password and soon realized someone was already taking a bath. Since nothing forbade several people to use the bathroom at the same time, you approached and saw Minho, eyes closed, humming a song you probably heard somewhere before. He seemed somewhat peaceful.
Minho was either feared, admired or loved. You didn’t know much about him so you were just curious. How could he be so cold yet afraid others would discover his secret? A secret you knew about since third year, the only time you talked to him, actually.
You had lost one of your most precious quills you owned and went to see Myrtle Warren in the girl’s bathroom on the first floor to ask for her help. You became friends with Myrtle in first year, when you entered the bathroom for the first time. At the time you didn’t know it was abandoned and ran into her. You’ve always called her by her name (not Moaning Myrtle) and been nice to her so anytime you would need help, she would accept without much complaint.
When you entered the bathroom, you first heard “I can’t tell them I’m muggleborn!” then saw two boys facing each other by the chipped sinks. You could see one’s back then a head popped up from the side and looked at you.
“Hi!” he said, waving his hand.
The other one turned around, glared at you and almost ran to the door. You saw the look in his eyes, he was scared. When he was next to you, your mouth moved on its own while you were still processing what was happening.
“Being a muggleborn doesn’t make you any different from the rest of the students. It’s almost incredible that you were born into a magicless family. Imagine how special that makes you. I promise you’re not worth less and if anyone dares to say otherwise, I’ll jinx them.”
You surprised yourself by your words, but maybe it was the Hufflepuff in you that couldn’t stand seeing him down like that. His heart warmed up and he smiled —you couldn’t see that— and he left without a word. Your gaze drifted to the door and you stayed like that until the one that greeted you came to you.
“Hey, I’m Chan.” You recognized him as the keeper of the Gryffindor Quidditch team.
“Y/N,” you smiled softly.
“Thank you for your words. I think it got to him.”
“With pleasure. It’s the same for you by the way. I hope you’re not feeling self-conscious about it.”
He looked at you dumbfounded. “How—”
“Just a guess,” you answered, “and your reaction proves I’m right.”
Chan smiled, showing his dimples, then made a more serious face. “Can I ask what you’re doing here?”
“I came to find Myrtle, I got robbed.”
“Oh shoot! I’m sorry about that.”
“It’s alright, Myrtle or I will find it. What were you doing here?”
He scratched the back of his neck. He was in the girl’s bathroom after all and he knew it. “Um. We needed a quiet place to talk and this one was the closest.”
For the little story, Myrtle found the quill, a second year had stolen it. He gave it back when you came to him with Myrtle giving him death glares from behind you.
(っ◔◡◔)っ ✿
You hesitated between taking your bath with him or leaving him be and coming back later. You didn’t really know him and you didn’t know if it was the right place to start a friendship so you decided it was best to go. When you stepped back, your eyes still on him, you stumbled on one of the sinks, swearing under your breath. He opened his eyes wide in your direction and stopped humming abruptly.
“Y/N??” Oh, he knew your name.
“Um, sorry, I’m going to leave, I’ll come back later.”
“Or you can join me? Maybe, if it’s not too weird?”
You froze. Was Minho really asking you to take a bath with him when it was literally the first time this year that you exchanged a word? Wow. Bold. Maybe he just saw the perfect opportunity to get to know you better and was internally praying you would say yes.
You did and joined him, seating not too far to hear what he would say but not too close either to insert boundaries. Because, yeah, you wanted to know more about him too but not scare him off. People labeled him as cold but at that moment, he was far from that. He kept smiling shyly and it was a nice sight.
You didn’t leave that bath until the water was cold and you had wrinkled fingers, meaning you stayed in there for about three hours, talking and playing in the water. You just had that connection with him and almost regretted you haven’t started talking to him before.
What you didn’t know was that Minho had a crush on you since the time you talked in the girl’s bathroom, three years ago. Your words really got to him and even if he never shared his secret information with anyone but his closest friends, he had this feeling that if anyone would come at him for it, you’d be by his side. In a way, the idea comforted him.
The next day, even after your efforts to rest, you were tired.
“I had so much trouble sleeping last night,” you sighed as you sat at the Hufflepuff table next to Seonghwa.
“Even after all my efforts to make you rest?”
“It could be because someone was thinking about you,” proposed Changmin, your other friend, mindlessly playing with his marmalade toast. Both were Hufflepuffs.
“Who the hell could think of me at 3 am?”
A large group of people heard your sentence, including the ‘someone’ in particular, who was about to sit at his table, bowing his head in embarrassment.
Changbin, who saw and heard it all, laughed. “What, you’re the one preventing them from a good sleep? Man, I didn’t know you were so mean.”
“Shut up Binnie, like you can probably realize, I didn’t sleep much either.”
“When do you plan on telling them?” he asked as he gave Minho the tea-pot.
“When the time is right. Which is not now, we just started talking.”
“That’s a start, I wish you good luck.”
Minho sighed. “Thank you.”
Since that day, you would talk to him from time to time, getting to know each other better because obviously, three hours weren’t enough.
(っ◔◡◔)っ ✿
Weeks passed and a morning after the christmas holidays, you found a note on the backboard about the apparition lessons. You were thrilled by the news. In the Great Hall, you heard some students of your year already talking about it. You sat next to your best friend, who was already seated at the Hufflepuff table.
“Hi Seong. Can’t wait to take the apparition lessons,” you excitedly said as you poured cereals in the bowl in front of you.
“Hey, me too.” He gave you the milk and you thanked him.
“Bet you’ll apparate a mile south,” laughed Changmin, resting on his elbows in front of you.
You smirked. “Bet you’ll apparate under the rain.”
“You children.” Seonghwa’s remark only made Changmin and you giggle.
A week after you signed up for the lessons and paid the required 12 galleons, they finally started. It wasn’t as easy as you could think but you were determined in succeeding.
The first week, the ministry employee that came to give the lessons basically spent the entire hour talking about the dangers of apparating without a flawless concentration. Like leaving an eyebrow, a piece of cloth or even a leg behind.
The next week, the first tries were made. You all needed to try and apparate into a hoop by focusing your mind on the hoop and then spin around with the intention of appearing in the hoop. No one perfectly succeeded.
Weeks passed and the keeper of the Hufflepuff Quidditch team, Seungkwan, disappeared in front of you. Turned out he apparated in the Quidditch pitch.
“He probably thought too much about Quidditch,” Seonghwa had told you.
If only Seungkwan was the only one to disappear. Juyeon, beater of the same team and Changmin’s close friend, ended up in the school grounds under the rain and Wooseok, from Gryffindor, was found a mile south.
Remembering your talk with Changmin a month before, you went to him after the lesson.
“Does that mean we can predict the future? Sounds scary,” he gasped dramatically.
“Idiot, it could happen to anyone. Sicheng apparated at the entrance of the forbidden forest last year.”
“How do you know?”
You shrugged. “Seonghwa told me. He’s a fan.” Sicheng was one of the chasers of your house’s Quidditch team.
The first person to succeed was you. You were astonished to say the least while your friends, on the other hand, weren’t even surprised. They always said you were the best of your year and this accomplishment was just proving it once more. A guy in the back made a displeasing comment about you but you didn’t hear. The next day during breakfast, however, you were obliged to see the same guy’s head inflating after drinking his tea. One of his prefects counter-spelled him and went back to eat like it was nothing.
Next week, Gryffindor Chanwoo apparated between the forbidden forest and the lake, although he was the last one to apparate anywhere else but into the hoop.
The following weeks, Seonghwa, Minho and Seungkwan succeeded, followed by Juyeon, Wooseok, Changmin and a few others.
“It was about time,” the latter had sighed.
The last few weeks, everyone managed to reach their goal without losing any members. Finally, all those you cared about had their license to apparate, including Minho, and you were proud of them —and yourself.
(っ◔◡◔)っ ✿
Life was somehow good to Minho because you too had feelings for him. The day you realized that, you were in your fourth year, at the library on your own, working on some transfiguration homework. A 6th year slytherin with books under his arm passed by you, calling you a ‘nerd’ with a disgusted face. It wasn’t an insult for you anymore, you were just doing your homework and listening in class, the rest was easy but only because you were passionate about it.
Seeing he was ignored didn’t please him but before he could add anything, his books turned into birds and flew away from an open window. The noise made you look up at the guy in disbelief while he was running out of the library and after his books, screaming, under the disapproving look of the librarian.
Behind a shelf, there was a boy who put his wand back in his pocket and returned to his homework as if nothing happened. You knew it was the boy you gave a speech to the year before and from this day, you were thankful for the countless times he got your back when you basically said you had his. Thinking your crush on him had no place to be, you tried to repress it, but his somehow protective behavior made it grow bigger. And here you were, befriending him two years later.
(っ◔◡◔)っ ✿
It was april, you were close friends with Minho by now and spent time with him everyday. Today, you were seated on a bench with Minho’s cat, Pepper, on his lap because yeah, he had a beautiful Russian cat with green eyes. You were almost giving more attention to Pepper than Minho but, he could totally get that, his cat was what he valued most in the school.
“I don’t really like your friend,” he sighed and for a moment, you were confused.
“Which one?”
“Your best friend.” You didn’t get why he was all mysterious all of a sudden.
“The only reason I see you could hate him for, and that’s pure jealousy, is his height.”
“Wait— you’re saying I’m small?” He looked at you in disbelief.
“You’re the one saying it, not me.” You smiled so brightly his heart skipped a beat. Maybe he didn't have to be scared of him.
Later that day, Seonghwa and you were in your common room, doing your homework together.
“So, how’s it going with Minho?” he asked as he was closing a book about potions he borrowed at the library.
“What do you mean?”
“I guess none of you confessed yet,” he whispered, then cleared his throat. “Are you going to confess?”
You didn’t even bother asking him how he found out. “You’re not my best friend for nothing, uh. Am I that obvious?”
“It’s sickening. I wish one of you would do something about it soon.”
“Thanks for your opinion Seong, it’s much appreciated but—”
“Oh please, don’t start with your ‘but he doesn’t like me’ bullshit, he DOES. Listen to me. He’s as obvious as you, if not more, so please, do something about it or I swear I will.”
(っ◔◡◔)っ ✿
The next day in history, you were seated next to Seonghwa, like 100% of your classes. Minho was behind you with Dahyun, the Slytherin prefect with him. The class was often a bit boring because the professor would often talk way more than necessary. Today, you knew the subject already so you let yourself relax a bit and take less notes.
“Hey, I was wondering,” said Seonghwa out of nowhere, “what’s your favorite flower?”
“I think it would be Parrot’s beak. It’s from the Canary Islands and pretty rare,” you replied after a moment of reflection. “Why?”
“Oh, just like that.” He winked and gave his attention back to the professor.
“What’s yours?”
“Oak-leaved geranium.” His eyes never left the blackboard and you hummed in response, going back to listening as well.
At the end of class, Minho was the first one to run out. He took a secret passage behind a tapestry which led him to stairs. He followed some fourth years and when he saw a Gryffindor getting his hair colored in red and standing on end, he just knew who was behind it. He soon enough saw Jisung and his partner-in-crime laughing their asses off, that was until they saw him.
As prefect, he was in the obligation to take points from Jisung (only, because his friend was in Slytherin and he couldn’t afford to take points from his own house). Since he was impressed by the fact Jisung put a transfiguration spell in a hair-rising potion, he decided fifteen points would suffice instead of twenty.
“By the way, I need to ask you something.”
“Just after taking points from me? That’s bold.” Jisung crossed his arms.
“It wouldn’t have happened if you respected the rules, you know.”
Getting out of arguments, he surrendered. “What can I do for you?”
“I need you to find Felix.”
Jisung pushed the older one in the closest empty room then took the Marauder’s Map (for more info read Jisung’s au) out of his inside pocket (he made it himself). He recited the formula and looked at it closely.
“Felix’s outside by the lake. I’m not surprised, are you?”
“I must admit I’m not. Thanks.”
Without waiting a second more, he ran to Felix, who was playing with a plimpy he befriended. The creature fled as soon as it saw Minho running its way.
“Minho? Are you okay?”
He held a hand up while catching his breath. “I’m alright. I need you to put something in the Hufflepuff common room.”
“What, exactly?”
Minho looked around him, took a stone that was at the edge of the lake and gave it to him. “This.”
Felix examined the stone. “…This?”
“Yeah, somewhere Y/N could see it, please.”
He nodded. “Consider it done.”
“Thanks. By the way, do you know what oak-leaved geranium means in the flower language?”
“I believe Seungmin once mentioned it meant true friendship, why?”
Minho didn’t realize at first that he was smiling widely. “Just like that. Thank you so much.”
He then went to the library, needing one last thing: a picture of a parrot’s beak. Once he looked in every flower book in the herbology segment, he asked the librarian, who eyed him scornfully.
“Parrot’s beak isn’t magical. You’ll find what you need in the muggle area. Be quiet now.”
He mouthed a ‘thanks’ and walked to the said area to find what he was looking for.
When he found it, he went to the dungeons to hide behind a huge statue, used Orchideous to make a bouquet of parrot’s beak out of his wand, added a note and waited. Felix soon entered with the stone in his hand. Minho knew he would stay by it until you would find it. A few students entered the Hufflepuff common room, then you came in with your best friend. Minho approached discreetly and used a switching spell to switch the bouquet with the stone. Then, he left before anyone could see him.
You were about to sit on the couch when a beautiful bouquet of parrot’s beak appeared out of nowhere. You beamed and took them in your hands.
Seonghwa looked at them too. “There’s a note.”
“What does it say?”
Seonghwa took it and started reading. “To Y/N, the most kind, smart and stunning person on earth. From a MB.”
You smelled the flowers and smiled joyfully. Seonghwa was smiling too, almost amused.
“How did they know it was my favorite flower?”
“We talked about it twenty minutes ago, Y/N. Someone must have heard it.”
“Is it you?” you enquired.
“I’m sorry but it wasn’t me. I didn’t know what they looked like. They’re really beautiful, by the way.”
Felix watched the entire scene and was pleased Minho made you happy. He couldn’t wait to tell him about your reaction.
(っ◔◡◔)っ ✿
Seated on the couch with your bouquet in one hand and the note in the other, you were thinking. “MB…”
“Is that initials?” asked Seonghwa.
“Or Miami Beach.”
“Really, Changmin?” Seonghwa face palmed.
 He shrugged. “Just giving options.”
After a while, you sat up straight. “Oh my god.”
“What?” Both the boys asked, confused.
“Muggleborn,” you whispered.
“Makes sense,” approved Seonghwa.
Changmin was looking at his friends. “Does it, though?”
Thing is, you knew a lot of muggleborns (and were too oblivious to think about Minho).
(っ◔◡◔)っ ✿
The next day, Felix went to Minho before breakfast. “Y/N was beaming. Never saw a smile that bright and eyes so sparkly.”
Minho’s smile was wide. “Thank you so much, Felix. Do they know who did it?”
“I’m not sure. I don’t do eavesdropping,” he said, giving his friend a subjective look.
“I don’t do that either!”
“Sure. How’d you know Parrot’s beak was Y/N’s favorite flower then?” Minho’s cheeks burned and he refused to look the younger in the eyes.
Later, you found Minho at the library and spent time with him.
“So, I heard you received a bouquet,” he said as casually as he could. For a brief moment, he thought you were going to ask him if it was him and got scared.
“Yes, the flowers were really beautiful. I put them in a vase on my nightstand.”
You were beaming and Minho, seeing you this happy, almost revealed himself.
“I wonder who sent them though. I mean, these flowers aren’t that known, even in the muggle world.”
His lips were burning to tell you but he was scared the feelings weren’t mutual.
“Minho? Why do you look sad all of a sudden? Did I say something wrong? Is this about the,” you stopped to get closer to him and whisper, “muggles?”
He couldn’t believe you were worried about him. “Oh, no, no, don’t worry! I— um, was wondering if, I don’t know, you had an idea on who sent it?”
“Actually, I do have an idea.”
Minho gulped. “You— you do?”
“Yes. The person’s obviously in history class with me. And they’re seated close to me. Plus, they’re muggleborn, from what I learned from the note. So I narrowed it down to two people. First Dahyun, which, I think, has zero reason to send me flowers as we never really had any conversation. Also she glares at me from time to time. Doesn’t add up.”
The boy was sweating. The more you talked, the more he regretted his question. What if you rejected him?
“The other person, on the other hand, we’ve talked more and I highkey want it to be him.” You looked him in the eye with such intensity he choked on air.
“Who’s that?” he risked.
A smirk was spreading on your face. “Vernon. He’s cute.”
His face dropped and you couldn’t help but laugh. Teasing him was funny.
“I’m kidding, it’s you.”
At this moment, Minho was still confused but happy. If he understood what was going on correctly, you knew it was him who sent you the flowers and you wanted it to be him??? He absolutely didn’t see it coming.
“So… you… like me?”
You smiled at him fondly. “I do.”
His heart was pounding, he was ready to kiss you. You felt like he was thinking about Seonghwa so you tried to reassure him as much as you could.
“Seonghwa is my best friend, nothing more. I can assure you.”
“Oh, I know,” he said, a satisfied smile on his face. “I like you too.”
“I was hoping you would say that.”
“Can I kiss you now?” You bit your lip, the question was really attractive.
Without answering, you got closer to Minho and pressed your lips to his.
“How dare you make out in the library? OUT! IMMEDIATELY,” shouted the librarian from behind. You both moved back from shock and ran out, hand in hand, a big smile on your faces.

Wanting more
Part 2 of my Julian Kaye x reader story
Tumblr media
If she forgot about his job, life with Julian Kaye was pretty normal.
They had already created a sort of cocoon, a very domestic routine, and that hadn't really changed after their relationship became official.
After a few weeks, Y/N had asked Julian to come live with her. She had thought he would hesitate, too attached to his bachelor pad and his sense of independence. Scared too, because of his strange schedules.
But no, Julian had been very enthusiastic, collecting the few things he had in his motel to put them in her cupboards.
The schedules were still special. He sometimes came home very late, or after several days, totally exhausted. And he didn't talk about his day. He could not.
"First, I have a confidentiality agreement. And even if I changed the names, neither you nor I want to talk about my clients, and what I do with them."
"You can understand that I'm a little curious. And worried, when I see you so tired."
"Like everyone else when they come home from work, but everything is fine. I want to forget and only think about you. I only think about you all day."
Y/N wasn’t jealous.
She often told herself that she was not jealous. She had no reason to be. Julian loved her and he was just doing his job. Like an actor, a masseur or a doctor. He touched other bodies, but there was no feeling. It's a mechanical act, business, and when he came home, he had already moved on to something else.
To avoid a catastrophe, he had spoken to her a lot at the very beginning of their relationship. He had listed all the things his clients could ask him. He had presented Y/N to Lorenzo, his boss, so that he could also explain everything to her.
The one who had declared that their story could only end badly had understood that he had before him two people who loved each other deeply, and he had sighed.
“Julian never had a girlfriend.”
“I’ve had girlfriends, thank you.”
"Yeah, when you were twelve. Nothing serious since you started working. It's a first, and he tells you everything. No secrets, no shame. Maybe it'll work. The guy always follows the rules, you can trust him."
The rules were simple : the customer pays in advance, the customer says clearly what they want and what they don't want, they have no right to hurt or get attached to the gigolo, no refund.
There had been times when Julian had come home with marks. Bites, scratches, hickeys, hits. Most of the time he tried to hide them, keeping his distance for a few days.
He always apologized, as if it was his fault.
"They're not allowed to leave traces, but sometimes they act without thinking, and I don't have time to stop them. Sometimes I don't even notice."
"It's alright."
"I see this makes you sad. It's not alright."
Y/N kissed him to reassure him, repeating that she wasn't mad at him. He still continued to apologize.
Even though they weren't talking about his work, these marks and his late returns were a bit heavy. But there was nothing else. Julian didn't give any details. He took a long shower before coming home, washing away the lipstick, the perfume, everything that these women had left on him, on this body that belonged only to Y/N.
He wanted to show her, to reassure her, not being able to believe that she completely accepted the situation.
During one evening, he behaved as if he were with a client. It was the most horrible evening of their relationship.
"No. Stop, no." Y/N asked him, wanting to jump out of bed, trying not to cry.
"Baby, what's wrong ? Did I hurt you ?"
"It's so… cold. Violent. I don't feel like it's you."
"Because that's not me. Never me, and they're never you. I want you to know that, really know that."
"I know that, Julian. But thanks for showing me."
“I promise I’ll never show you that again.” he sighed as he took her in his arms, showing her his love and affection.
This was nothing new to Julian, but it had been a long time since he had known tenderness. Being in bed with a woman who just wanted to talk and hug him without asking for anything else. Who will prepare breakfast and dinner for him. Who loved spending time with him.
When her family and friends wanted to get to know her boyfriend, he begged her not to tell them what he was doing. He wasn't ashamed, and she wasn't ashamed, and Julian didn't care about being judged, but he didn't want others to judge Y/N.
They were going to ask prying questions, they were going to make stupid remarks, they might try to hire him to play a prank. It was too risky.
"Tell them I'm a coach, or a psychologist. It's basically the same thing. I get paid to help lonely, desperate people feel better for a few hours."
“What if they want to hire you ?”
“Impossible, I don’t take relatives as clients. I have to remain distant and objective.”
Even saying he was a coach, there were comments. Y/N's family thought Julian was superficial, flashy, with his muscles, his jewelry, his clothes. They were afraid he was with her for the money.
Which was ridiculous, since he had a lot more money than her. It happened that he earned in a week what she earned in a month. And in addition to helping pay the rent, the food, many things, he gave her gifts. Indecently expensive gifts.
"… There's really no need."
"To give a beautiful necklace to the most beautiful woman in the world ? No doubt, it's not necessary, but I want to. Try it."
“Julian, really, it’s too much.”
"For the car, okay, maybe it was a little too much, but it's just a little necklace. Please, I want to see you with it. I want to see it bounce between your tits when you are riding me.”
“You are impossible.” she mumbled as she felt her cheeks heat up, letting his hands caress her neck after attaching the necklace.
Y/N didn't really understand what was happening the evening when Julian prepared a romantic dinner, displaying a big smile. It wasn't a special day, even though he hadn't been around for several weeks, his hours seeming to have decreased.
Still with his proud smile, he placed two papers on the table. On the first piece of paper, there was a telephone number. The other was a check, of a fairly large amount.
"I don't understand." she said, looking at it, and seeing that the check was not for her, but in the name of Julian Kaye.
“My new phone number, and my first paycheck for my new job.”
"… What ?"
"I spoke with Lorenzo. For the past month, I have sometimes been a bouncer in his club, sometimes a bartender, and I give advice to new gigolos. It's not as well paid, but it's not bad. And as I'm not going to see my old clients again, I changed my number."
"Julian. Why ? You love your job."
"I love you more, and before you tell me that you're not ashamed, and that I can do whatever I want, it's not your fault. I kinda did it for you, but also for me. At first, I kept telling myself "think of Y/N, imagine that you are with her, and everything will be fine, then you come home, and you will really be with her". But I couldn't. They weren't you, and they were asking me things that you would never ask of me, and I was starting to be disgusted by these bodies, these skins, everything. I only wanted you. I said to myself, 'but what are you doing ? Sleeping in this bed, instead of being with her ?” So I talked to Lorenzo, and that’s it.”
Faced with Y/N's silence, Julian's smile faded a little, which saddened him. He seemed really proud to tell her this news. Over the past month, he had changed a lot of things for her, without her really noticing it, even if she was happy that he was home more often.
Slowly, she reached out to caress his cheek, sitting on his lap.
“Doesn’t that make you happy ?” he asked shyly.
"I just want you to be happy. Are you happ y?"
Julian looked at her with sparkling eyes before kissing her. Obviously, he was very happy and that was the only important thing.
