CANZUK

CANZUK (Australia, Canada, New Zealand and the United Kingdom) are nations where the cultures of all four countries are extremely similar and they share the same language. All four are liberal democracies based on parliamentary systems including a constitutional monarchy. All four are multi-cultural and multi-ethnic with a rich fabric of peoples. Within a CANZUK agreement, each country would keep their de facto sovereignty and have the independence to draft its own laws. Each would negotiate their own trade agreements with other nations. Current alliances such as NATO would remain as is. Resources: Books for Networking

Books to build your networking skills shouldn’t just be soft skill books on communication and small talk. You may meet people of different backgrounds and cultures. You might be attending a diverse networking conference; studying at a multi-cultural university; or dealing with clients from all over the world. How do you connect to them? You need to know a little history of where the other person is from, to able to have a great initial conversation. It shows interest and respect.

I highly recommend this book (pictured below). Yes, its a little textbook-y but its short, crisp and to the point.

It’s essentially just quick info on every single country. If you go through it diligently and meet someone say from Latvia, you may be able to recall that Latvia was annexed by the Soviet Union in the 40s, majorly practice Lutheran and mainly export timber, metals and garments. If you can use these facts smartly in a conversation with the other person, there will be a feeling of genuine joy of knowing at least a little bit of their country and they’ll be eager to share more with you. You’ll be able to ask interesting questions and get to learn things from the other person. There’s a good chance of the person remembering you for knowing even 0.5% of where they’re from.

History, culture and religion draw people to each other more than you think. What’s important is being respectful of everyone’s opinions, understanding the world doesn’t revolve around you and being open to hearing the other person’s experience. What the media shows vs what the citizen experiences, you may realise, are two completely different things.

So ghouls are born. They’re born in the Pit, grow from tiny kits in litters to marvelous creatures of Satan’s creation. But what humans can’t seem to pin down is why ghouls exhibit behaviors and habits of human cultures when topside.

Well, after a period of adjustment, proximity to humans and cultures, they start to display these behaviors. But it’s not imitation or like a learned accent. Ghouls have souls, and those souls were once human too. Some sent to Hell for their deeds, others are the souls of Satan’s loyal followers, reincarnated into beings he clearly adores.
