Controversial opinion: Being sick is not a good time
Hey y'all! Haven't really been around too much. I've been sick for the past week-and-change, (probably the 'VID or a sinus infection) (I didn't bother getting tested because I go literally nowhere and my partner, who does go places, tested negative).
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Basically, I imagined Teen Lou and Esme cheering me on whenever I did Olympic-level feats like showering or making myself tea.
If for some reason you wanna know more, here's a cut because I suck at being pithy.
My body's response to getting sick is basically 1) whine so, so much and 2) sleep for 17 hours a day until conditions improve. Fortunately, my partner is very much a caretaker at heart and ensured I was fed and that the dogs were looked after. Oh, did I mention school started this past Monday? So yeah I haven't been online much.
On top of all that, my mom was hospitalized. I was on the phone with her wife every day and long story short, it was a combination of getting bronchitis and pneumonia at once, a blood clot in her liver KIDNEY, being on too high of a dose of 'beetus meds, and also being allergic to one of the antibiotics they put her on. Oh, and she has Wolff-Parkinson-White Syndrome, which means they had to pay extra attention to her heart so she wouldn't have to get a 3rd ablation.
So, when I was online, it was on FB to let people know what was going on with my mom. FB is basically the equivalent of a mass text to everyone I know and I otherwise don't really get on it. ANYWAYS.
The #1 fear in my life, that I have had since I was a wee little kid, is my mother's untimely demise. She's been sick a lot throughout my life despite being a tough ol' broad who is the real-life inspiration for Destiny Child's "Survivor."
Which is to say that on top of being physically worn down, I have been endlessly emotionally exhausted as well. Like every update from my step-mom/mom's wife about her hospital stay would end in me crying and freaking out, having super vivid dreams about having to plan my mom's funeral (THANKS BUT NO THANKS NYQUIL, YOU NASTY YET SUCCESSFULLY CONGESTION-KILLING BITCH).
I have been playing Sims 4 still, but not the Orson's because I cannot be trusted when goofed up on cold meds. I've been playing a very casual game that sort of started off as a 100 Baby Challenge with Wicked Whims turned waaaaay up, but is now the story of 7 sisters who have the same mom but different dads.
I might show some pictures from that because some of those kids turned out hella cute and interesting. Plus I was needing a bit of a break from the Orsons anyways.
That's all! I'm feeling like 75% human these days so I'll likely be on a bit more, but mainly just wanted people to know that I didn't die or rage quit or anything.

Naturalis
‘’Like a zoo, but all the animals stay very still’’
Location: Leiden, Zuid-Holland, The NetherlandsPrice: 17,- / Students 12,75Duration: 2 - 5 hours
Transport: 10-minute walk from Leiden Central train station Language: Dutch / English Activities: Look at taxidermy animals, skeletons, and fossils. And play interactive games. A T.REX Date of visit: Monday 3rd of April 2023 Expo at that time:  Website *it's recommended to make a reservation on busy days, but it's not mandatory
Tumblr media Tumblr media
For Free!
So the first part of the museum is called the LiveScience and is before the ticket scan. So you can walk around for free, and I really recommend doing so if you’re in the era. This first part has a set of taxidermy birds and insects, you can also see all kinds of stones and a meteorite. It also has a bit of a library where you can read books about animals and nature, books for all ages. In the middle is a drawing table where you can try your hand at making anatomically correct animal drawings of the animals in the middle. But the coolest part must be the researchers! In the back is the Dino lab where researchers are working on real dinosaur bones right in front of you, and you can go up to them to ask questions. Underneath that is also a lab of researchers with microscopes, on a screen you can see what they see under the microscope and also ask them questions.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Blathers Museum
Once you want to go up the massive stairs, you first need to scan your ticket. The building has about 8 floors with different rooms that all tell a different story (there's also a lift ofcourse). To me, it felt like walking thou Blathers museum, like from Animal crossing new Horizons. The way, you got immersed in the storytelling and the animals. It was set up beautifully. Also for kids, it's a sight to see as you are just allowed to touch anything (carefully), in one room you could just pick up and hold bones! There are a lot of fun interactive mini-games, so to say, and in one room where they explained how the layers of the earth move and make mountains using cooking videos. Interesting choice, but very fun to watch and understandable for all ages. And that's really what this museum is, for people of all ages, since you can choose how much you want to learn. You can only play the mini-games and play around, but deeper information can be found when you really look everywhere and even open some drawers. Also, once again the fun parts are not being ‘’gate kept’’ so to say, where in some museums they hide the mini-games and treasure hunts and only make them accessible by kids like I also like fun!!
If you love dinosaurs you came to the right place as they have a full T. rex skeleton and some others. You can even go through the dinosaur experience for an extra 2 euros, but I didn't do that this time as I am not a very big Dino fan, but my boyfriend is, so maybe I will go with him.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
A lot closed off
It seemed like there were more rooms also called science labs, but I think you could do fun experiments there, that required the staff’s help. So that was all closed. This is probably because it was a Monday and on Monday most museums are closed. So I assume they just closed half of it. Or it is because it's a school week and those parts might be open during holidays when more people are coming. But I didn't mind, I mean I have a museum card, and I'm definitely planning to come back.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Would I pay the price: Definitely, I think It's actually very cheap for the experience. Would I revisit it: Absolutely! Who do I recommend it to: nature/animal lovers, families, tourists Interactive:         5 Educational: 4 Storytelling: 5 Price: 5 Memorable: 5 Total score: 4,8

Haikyuu guys as stuff my dad did
This idea has been in my brain for a while, so I'm writing it out. Hope y'all enjoy :)
CW: idn, its pretty wholesome
Daichi answers your frantic phone call home expressing that you forgot your backpack and laptop for college when you went home over the weekend. Expressing that all of your notes are in the backpack, he decides to wake-up extra early Monday morning and make the 2 1/2 hour drive to your university, then drive all the way back to your hometown to go to work.
Sugawara came up with the best hiding spot for you while playing hide and seek at your 7th birthday party. He squeezed you in-between the back of the couch and the back couch cushions. Then, he sat in front of it to conceal the awkward lump it made in the couch. It took the others 30 minutes before giving up and telling you to come out.
Asahi asks you to style his hair for a zoom meeting he has later that day. After some deliberation, you both decide to do a mohawk style. He braces himself as you run off to get the brush, hairspray, hair gel, and hairdryer.
Nishinoya still wears the Annoying Orange shirt you got him when you were in 3rd grade. It's faded and has a giant picture of Annoying Orange on it, which faded from popularity in 2010, but he still wears it. In public.
Tanaka makes the dumbest jokes while in the audience of your colorguard/dance competitions. For example, he asked your mom if he should shout "Go get 'em George" to the group of girls performing to confuse everyone. Another favorite joke o his is to chant "the worm, the worm,, we worship the worm" while the previous team is carrying out their floor.
Ennoshida talks with you as you make one of the biggest changes in your life. Midway through your second semester at university, you determine that business is not for you, however, you do not have a backup plan. Talking with him, you end up changing your major to Geography, and now you love every second of it.
Kageyama drinks the milk out of you cereal. You hate the taste of milk by itself, but you don't want to eat dry cereal. To not waste milk, he drinks it after you finish eating your cereal.
Hinata fails miserably when your mom tells him to reapply the medical glue on your forehead. The day before, your sister threw a wooden block at you, causing a major tear in your head. Your mom took you to the emergency room, but they were busy and it was a school night, so they told her to just take some liquid band aid (which we called glue) and close the wound. Your mom told him to replace the glue, and he took ELMERS GLUE and placed it on the open wound. It hurt like a bitch.
Tsukishima takes you to go see the museum of natural history once a month. He knows you're the odd girl out of your class that would rather play with dinosaurs than dolls, so he takes you to see the dinosaur fossils. He also gets a discount because his place of work donated a significant amount of money and resources to one of the exhibits.
Yamaguchi helped set up your setup once you moved to zoom university. He attached your laptop to a monitor his job had extra, so now you feel like a badass whenever you use the two screens.
Oikawa out of nowhere invites all his high school friends over to stay the week at your house. A trip that probably should have been planned in weeks, even months, is planned in just a weekend. Everyone ends up sleeping on air mattresses and blankets on the floor due to your mom just finishing up replacing the floors in the house (she was not too happy with the sudden trip, but was welcoming anyway)
Iwaizumi makes you watch Godzilla with him whenever it's on TV. Some of his fondest memories include receiving Godzilla themed ornaments from his mom ever Christmas. He also unironically watches those cheesy fan-made Godzilla fights on YouTube for hours on end. Man just likes Godzilla.
Hanamaki and you wear funny hats to a volunteer cookout. The organizers told every one to wear a hat so that their hair didn't get in the food, but you two take it a step further. You wear a banana hat while he wears a hotdog hat.
Matsukawa taught you how to make all kinds of breakfast food at a young age. Whether it was a simple as a fried egg or as complex as French toast, he worked with you until the recipe came out perfect.
Kyotani scares the other parents off when it comes to the silent auction selling the class are projects. Now the shelf you and your kindergarten classmates fingerprinted flowers and bugs on sits proudly in your closet holding crafting supplies.
Ushijima scolds you for leaving the lights on. Most parents do that already, but he takes it to a new extreme. Your mom explains that he would never turn the lights on in his apartment when he was in college and would simply get his homework done before dark. Sometimes, if he had something to do, he would light a candle to finish something up.
Tendou recalls a story in which he stole a bus battery with his buddies to power an air conditioned tent at boy scout camp. He also recalls the year he and his friends tried to build a pool in the wilderness at the same count, only to get caught and reprimanded for it before filling it with water which totally had nothing to do with a camp counselor finding it and having a Vietnam flashback
Goshiki watches anime with you. He always acts like he is uninterested in whatever show is on, but he soon gets super into it and it will be the only thing he talks about for a week.
Kuroo sits at the table with you until 2am working on that math assignment you have been struggling with. You've definitely run out of tears to cry, and had to redo the assignment twice, but he is guiding you through the answers
Yaku isn't a fan of all the pets you and your mom have collected over the years. I mean, in his defense, at one point we had 8 cats an 3 dogs. However, he is also super cuddly with them, always giving them nose boops and belly rubs.
Kenma plays Xbox, Wii, and the ds with you. He doesn't find the bulk of the games you play with him entertaining, but he is willing to run through LEGO Star Wars with you. His personal favorite to play is Mario Kart and he doesn't let you win >:(
Lev is trying to convince the family to let him take the position in Alaska with higher pay. When mom raised the concern that the long winters wouldn't do well for your mental health, his counter argument was, "Yeah, and that sucks, but hear me out. We could have a pet Polar Bear." We didn't move to Alaska
Bokuto was definitely the most enthusiastic dad at the girl scout father daughter dance. He twirled you around in your pretty little JC Penney dress and made sure you two were the center of the dance floor. At one point, he lifted you above his head with each foot in a hand like a cheerleader. Truly terrifying.
Akaashi drives out to the 24-hour pharmacy to pick up some cold medicine when you couldn't sleep due to a stuffy nose. He also checks up on you every hour when you are coughing with some mysterious disease (due to the lack of tests and priority of the high-risk, I will never know if I had Covid when I got sick in late March)
Aone gives you the biggest hug after you get released from the graduation ceremony. He isn't the best with words, so this hug speaks so much to you.
Terushima has been taking you to Mardi Gras in New Orleans since you were a baby. He doesn't care that it's mostly an adult party, he believes that everyone in the family should enjoy a good ol' Mardi Gras
Atsumu carries you on his shoulders all the time when you're small. He just thinks it's the cutest thing.
Osamu makes sure to host a crawfish boil every year. Whether its the neighbors, family, both, or just the household, you can expect some good, spicy crawfish with corn and potatoes whenever he cooks.
Kita teaches you how to drive a stick shift. He's frustrated that you cant move three feet before stalling, but then realizes that the issue was that you were in third gear, not first. He is now impressed that you were even able to start moving at third gear.
Sakusa takes you along with him to work. His job is full of tough men, so when they see him with you in a little blue dress-up tutu and a plastic tiara on your head, their hearts just melt.

| 🍒 CH-CH-CHERRY BOMB! 🍒 |     [CHAPTER 4]
pairing; dom!seungcheol x camgirl!reader
this chapter’s notes; masturbation, usage of toys, dirty talkin’, a bit of a filler chapter after last weeks hehe🍒 as always, thank you again for your continued support for cherry bomb 🥺💕 I'm actually not sure if next week’s chapter will go up on time due to my work schedule for next week but I'll be sure to keep y’all updated! if anything it’ll probably go up on saturday instead of friday... 😭😭 But anyway, have a good weekend yall! 💕💕💕 stay hydrated!!
chapters; 1 - 2 - 3 - 4 - ?
Tumblr media
The weekend ends quicker than Seungcheol even notices and while he wakes up Monday morning already thinking about you and your show later in the evening; his face falters when he reads the message on your cam homepage.
‘Sorry everyone :( I think I caught a cold so I won’t be doing a show tonight… I promise I’ll make it up to you on Friday! In the meantime, I’ve uploaded some new pics in our members only room~ I hope it’ll tide you all over ‘til then! xx Cherry 🍒 ’
His first reaction is to immediately panic; reaching for his phone and texting you to get as much rest and sleep as possible. He makes a mental note to check in with you again later, finding that he’s already running late to get to work when he gets out of bed.
Tumblr media
“Hey! Seungcheol-hyung!”
The said male turns around, placing the set of roller skates on the ground. “Yeah, what’s up?”
Jeongguk sits next to him on the wooden bench, legs stretched out as he passes Seungcheol an energy drink. “Nothin’, just wanted to say thanks for coming over on Saturday! We should try to do that again, except maybe we can go out for drinks or something? We can give it the good ‘ol college try, maybe bring home a girl, if you know what I mean~” Jeongguk wiggles his eyebrows at Seungcheol who rolls his eyes.
“Uh, I’m down for the drinking part but I think I’ll have to pass on the hookups.”
“Really? Why? Are you dating someone and you haven’t told me?”
Seungcheol thanks the gods that the roller rink is dimmed; neon lights and disco balls the only things keeping the entire place dimly lit when he blushes a deep crimson, face hot as he avoids the younger male’s gaze. “Nah, it’s just, I--I don’t think that’s really for me. I’m more of a, uh, relationship type of guy, y’know?” Also, I’m devoting my time and energy to someone already who isn’t really my girlfriend.
“Mm, makes sense!”
Jeongguk keeps Seungcheol company even on his break, the two chatting about various topics before he lets Seungcheol know his break is almost over.
“Hey, wait! Before you go…” Seungcheol is nervous for some reason, fingers gripping the suede of the rollerskate’s boot as he avoids eye contact again. “Um, this is gonna sound really weird but… Who’s ‘j__min’? I feel like I’ve seen that username before and it’s, uh, I’m just curious how you know them? Sorry if that’s weird, I just--I’ve been seeing them around pretty often.”
“Oh, that’s Jimin-hyung. He’s a friend of mine that games with me sometimes! I’ve never really met the dude in person before, but he seems nice.” Jeongguk nods, staring off into space. “He seems really busy all the time too. And he’s super active on social media, that’s probably where you’ve seen him.”
Seungcheol nods; the guy didn’t seem like any sort of immediate threat so he logs the information mentally for now. He’d just have to do some internet sleuthing himself when he got home.
“Oh, cool, okay! Thanks ‘Guk!”
Tumblr media
Seungcheol groans after the seventh pair of skates he’s cleaned, standing up to stretch and reach for his phone in his pocket. He checks the notifications, noting that you hadn’t texted back or read his messages yet.
A frown paints his features knowing that you were sick, but he makes another mental note to finally buy you that sybian now that his most recent paycheck had come in with it’s overtime bonuses. There were only a few more days until Namjoon came back which meant his extra pays would be over, a sad sigh escaping his lips at the thought.
The day gruels on; Mondays were always the slowest days for the roller rink which meant Seungcheol spent most of the time cleaning skates and bumming snacks from the concession stand usually. He tries to not pry deeper into Jeongguk’s friends but the curiosity eats him alive so he makes an effort to stay away from the younger male for the rest of the day, this time.
Instead, he spends the day hiding in the employee break room any time he gets; only leaving when Yoongi decides to hide in there himself.
Tumblr media
Your head feels like it’s going to spin off of your shoulders once you sit up in bed. The sun sits low in the horizon from what you can see through your bedroom window; noting that it must’ve been the late afternoon already.
You’d woken up with chills, head fuzzy when you’d sat up earlier in the morning. Knowing that you were at least somewhat sick, you quickly wrote up a little memo on your homepage letting your viewers know that there wouldn’t be a show later in the evening. Afterwards, you had quickly downed medicine before curling up under your sheets and going back to sleep. You’d vaguely been aware of your phone ringing on the nightstand next to your bed, but you prioritized sleeping instead, knowing that you had to get better before the weekend came.
You groan once you ease yourself off of your bed, dragging your feet as you make your way to the bathroom in hopes of a warm bath to make yourself feel better.
Tumblr media
It’s almost 5PM which means it’s almost time for Seungcheol to finally go home. He checks his phone one more time before he pockets the device, putting away the last few pairs of rollerskates before he starts making his way towards the backroom.
“Hey! ‘Cheol-hyung, can you come over here!?” Jeongguk yells over the music, arms waving him down frantically before he clocks out.
Seungcheol walks over, noting an unknown male standing with him. “Yes? Did you need help?”
“This guy, sorry I forgot your name?” The male laughs, eyes forming crescents when he smiles brightly at Jeongguk. “It’s Seokmin.”
“Right, right. Seokmin is asking if we’re hiring?” Jeongguk ends with a head tilt, unsure of the answer himself.
Seungcheol bites the inside of his cheek. Technically yes, they were understaffed even with Namjoon around. But Namjoon was also technically the one in charge of overseeing hiring positions. And while they technically should’ve hired more staff, that also meant Seungcheol’s overtime bonuses would be cut anytime they actually had the appropriate amount of staff.
“Uhhhh… I--I don’t think so? I’m not the one in charge. Our manager that decides staff and hiring positions is out of town indefinitely so…” Seungcheol trails off, hoping Seokmin gets the hint.
“Ahh… Should I come back another time then?” Seungcheol nods, frowning slightly. “Sorry ‘bout that man. But hey, why don’t you leave your contact info so we can call you? So you don’t have to keep coming back.”
Seokmin nods, beaming at the older male.
“Sure, that’d be great! Thanks!”
Seungcheol only feels slightly bad when he gets home that night, praying karma doesn’t kick his ass later for lying.
Tumblr media
On days when you cancel your show are the days Seungcheol realizes he needs more hobbies than watching your cam shows and gaming all night.
Not that it’s a bad thing, he thinks, just that he could supplement his life with more.
He places an order for a few cookbooks alongside the order for the sybian, soft chuckles spilling from his lips when he realizes what an odd array of things he’s ordered.
Seungcheol manages to fill his night with meaningless tasks; finally cleaning his PC and settling in to watch a movie while he polishes off an entire pizza. He checks his phone a few more times, noting no new messages and he wonders if you’re really okay. A lightbulb goes off in his head, power walking back to his PC as he opens a new browser.
He bites his lip, typing in ‘j__min’ in the search bar to see what comes up. By nature, the username is unfortunately a lot more common than he anticipates and he ends up rifling through a lot of dead ends before he comes upon the profile on the same camming website you used and an instagram that seemed to be updated fairly regularly.
“Let’s see…”
Tumblr media
Your body feels hot all over. Pin pricks on your fingertips as a bead of sweat trickles down your temple.
Now, you didn’t feel sick, you just felt incredibly insatiable. Again.
You weren’t sure if it was because your body had adjusted to a certain schedule, but you can’t help the way you toss and turn in bed; thighs rubbing together in hopes of alleviating the growing wetness between them.
Checking the clock, you note it’s already 10PM, close to when you’d normally be doing your show. You sigh, pushing your sweaty hair out of your face as you reach for your phone on the nightstand. You immediately notice a few text messages from Seungcheol; frowning when you notice the text messages were from the morning.
cheollie ✨: hey, baby :( saw your note, i hope you’re okay.
cheollie ✨: make sure to drink a lot of water and take medicine!
cheollie ✨: don’t push yourself too hard either okay?
The messages end there and you pout, unsure what to even say now that it had been hours since he’d texted.
Tumblr media
babygirl 🍒 : cheollie… i only saw ur msgs now 🥺
babygirl 🍒 : im sorryyyyy i was sleeping so long but i feel better now!!
Seungcheol closes all his browser tabs before he realizes it, a smile on his face when he sees you’ve responded.
‘That’s okay, I’m just glad you’re okay and feeling better. Promise me you drank tons of water?’
He feels giddy, palms sweaty as he grips his phone.
babygirl: mmhmm! i did… i don’t even feel sick anymore 🥺 but…
babygirl: dunno… i’m feeling needy again… i think my body is used to my usual schedule...
Seungcheol’s body thrums with newfound energy and arousal at your leading comments. He’s unsure of what to say next, fearing he was going to say too much. But his phone pings again, eyes quickly flitting over your messages.
babygirl 🍒 : if ur busy its okay but
babygirl 🍒 : do u think we could cam? just u and me?
babygirl 🍒 : only if ur free tho!!
His fingers are tingling when he sends his reply, making it short and sweet before he places his phone down and makes sure his PC is running smoothly.
‘Of course, you know I’m always here when you need me. :)’
Tumblr media
It takes a few minutes for you and Seungcheol to set up your respective spaces and in the meantime, you grab your laptop, propping it open on the bed next to you as you lay in front of it. You had debated on using your better camera which you used for camming, but you didn’t want it to be set up like a cam show.
Instead, you wanted a more intimate and casual video call with Seungcheol, so you made sure your webcam worked fine as you placed it on the sheets.
‘Video Call Incoming…’
You can’t help the blush that coats your skin nor the lust that fills your body as soon as you accept his call; his somewhat blurry figure coming into view.
“Hey, sweetheart!” Seungcheol beams at you through the grainy camera and you already feel yourself clenching around emptiness, words caught in your throat at how handsome he was and how truly enticing his voice was. “H-hi!” Rubbing your thighs together, you peer at the camera shyly. “I--wow, the pictures really… You’re so much more handsome on v-video.” You giggle slightly, leaning in closer to your laptop to get a better view of the silvery-blue haired male.
Seungcheol’s deep laugh filters through the speakers and your toes curl against the sheets.
“You should see me in person, maybe I’ll look even better then.”
You don’t deny that one bit; your own hands already itching to touch yourself. “Oh? Is that an invitation~?”
Seungcheol’s eyes pierce the camera, licking his own lips as you watch him  snake a hand down into his sweats.
“If you want it to be, sweetheart. But tell me about you, how are you feeling? Have you eaten already?”
Gulping, you watch as his hand seems to work slowly and out of view. “I--um, I feel b-better just… Dunno, guess my body’s just used to, um, y’know… A-and I haven’t really had much of an appetite...” You trail off, head still fuzzy from the cold medicines and now, Seungcheol.
In a roundabout way, it almost feels like you’re watching him do a show for you as you watch him slowly get off.
“I’m glad you’re feeling better, baby. But you know you should try to eat, okay? I don’t want you to get even sicker.” You nod, fingertips already at the edge of your sleep shorts.
“I--c-can I touch myself too?” Seungcheol laughs lightly, nodding as he tilts his head back. “Of course, you don’t need to ask me for permission, baby.”
You grin at him, sitting up as you reposition the laptop. Your hand slides underneath a pillow, grabbing the small bullet vibrator you kept there. “Do you always keep a toy handy?” His voice is airy, teasing in the way he asks.
“Mmhmm~ You never know when you’ll need it~” You sing-song, shimmying your sleep shorts and panties off before you spread your legs in front of the camera.
Tumblr media
The air gets knocked out of Seungcheol the second you spread your legs for him and him alone and he can’t help but imagine all the things he wanted to do with you. He watches as you tease yourself, fingertips only grazing across the areas he knew you wanted to be touched the most.
“I can’t wait for us to finally fuckin’ meet.” He grits out.
A moan floats through the speakers of Seungcheol’s gaming PC, your saccharine voice music to his ears. “M-me too, wanna know what you’d do to me~” You giggle afterwards, pressing the vibrator to your clit as you spread your legs wider for him to see. Seungcheol’s hand around his cock tightens as he watches, an appreciative smirk on his face.
“Oh sweetheart, what wouldn’t I do to you.” You can’t help but slide your fingers through your wet folds listening to Seungcheol’s voice, whimpering when you finally slide a finger in. “Yeah? What would be the first thing? Tell me, ‘Cheollie~”
Even through the webcam quality, you can see the way Seungcheol’s eyes glaze over in complete pleasure. He licks his lips once, leaning in close so that you can hear him clearly.
“I know you probably think I’d get straight to the filthy shit, huh? Pin you to your bed and fuck you until you forget your own name or tie you up to the bedposts and make you beg for me to fuck you. But I wouldn’t. Because I wanna worship your fuckin’ body. I’d take it nice and slow with you, give you as many orgasms as you want.”
“F-fuck, Seungcheol, I–”
“You could use me for your pleasure, y’know? You deserve it. You’re such a good girl. I’d give you anything you fuckin’ want if you’d let me.”
Your choked moans have Seungcheol working his cock faster; nothing on his mind except for you and his impending orgasm. “Oh g-god, Seungcheol, I--fuck, yes, I want that~ I want you to--to make me cum as many times as I w-want!” You mewl, easily working in another finger as you pump the digits inside your pussy.
He smirks when he sees your grip on the vibrator loosening, knowing that you were already too lost in the pleasure to keep the toy on. “And I’d let you. Maybe I’d make you cum on my tongue first. Or would you want my fingers?”
“B-both! Puh--please…” You whine, legs threatening to clamp shut. You curl and scissor your fingers, thrusting them knuckle deep inside yourself as you chase the pleasure that overtakes your senses. “Please, ‘Cheol, tell me more~”
You watch through the camera as Seungcheol pushes his sweats down enough to get his cock into view; mouth watering as you watch it curve up to his lower abdomen.
“I know how much you love being doted on and being taken care of… So after I make you cum all fuckin’ night, you know I’d take care of you. Make sure you’re comfortable and cuddle with you when you’re tired.” His hips cant up into his closed palm, a soft groan on his lips. “And then when we wake up, I’ll eat you out. Nice and slow so you know it’d be worth it.”
Seungcheol smirks, smearing the precum all over his shaft. “But I also know you like it rough and you like being punished like a bad girl. You like the idea of being tied up and teased and being fucked nice and hard too. I could take it nice and slow, build up the pleasure for you. Or I can take it nice and slow and tease you, I’d make you sit on my cock ‘n make you wait for it ‘til you’re begging me. Or maybe you would want an audience? Let them see you fall apart on my cock when you’re desperate to cum.”
You press the vibrator against your clit again, Seungcheol’s name falling out of your mouth in a blubbering mess. “Oh--I--!!”
Your legs clamp shut, fingers halting their movements as you cum hard around your fingers. Seungcheol watches as your legs shake, his own hand running up and down his cock in quick motions as he chases his high too. You vaguely hear him groaning your name; the ringing in your ears overbearing as your orgasm continues to wash over you.
The sound of your quick and shallow breaths mix with Seungcheol’s over the speakers as the two of you catch your breath. You slip your fingers from inside of you, wincing when you turn off the toy and toss it to the side.
“Fuck, baby, I--”
“Y-yeah…” You quietly lick your fingers clean, knowing that Seungcheol’s watching. “I… that was the first time I… did that with s-someone…” You giggle tiredly, wiping the rest of your sticky fingers on your shirt.
“Really? Never?” Seungcheol’s surprised expression makes you giggle; his eyes round and mouth wide open as he leans closer to his webcam.
“Mmhmm! Just, y’know, it’s--it’s hard to get close to people sometimes…”
You had mentioned it off-handedly once while the two of you had been texting, that most of the dates you’d been on hated the fact that you cammed. There was always a possessive aura that was present and while Seungcheol would sometimes get a little jealous himself, he also knew it was your livelihood and how you supported yourself.
“Ah, yeah, I can understand.”
The two of you sit in a content silence, Seungcheol reaching for a few tissues to clean off the drying cum on his abdomen.
“Hey, ‘Cheol?”
“Yeah?” He peers up at the camera through his lashes, blinking rapidly as he watches you lay back down in front of your laptop.
“About what you said… earlier…” You pause, shyness overtaking once again. “I--Would you want to meet up? Like, for real? I mean--not--not like tomorrow or something but... Y’know, we can start planning?”
Any words that come after that turn into radio static in Seungcheol’s head and he can feel his pupils shaking, nervousness already bubbling up inside of him at the prospect of actually finally maybe getting to meet you.
“Seungcheol? ‘Cheollie? You okay?”
Fuck.
“Huh? Yeah, yeah! I’m cool, I’m good, sorry, that--that caught me off guard.”
He watches as you talk animatedly, mind already going a mile a minute as he thinks over everything that needed to be done before then.
“I’m really excited to meet you, ‘Cheollie!”

Summary of my first term of my Ph.D. at Stanford during a global pandemic and an extremely controversial election year (Anthropology, yr. 1, she/they, 25y/o) with some toggl data analysis
Tumblr media
Well this year was a doozy if I don’t say so myself. But we survived it, and its okay if that’s all you were able to do this year because that’s enough.  As an offical 18th grader, I feel like I can speak pretty well to the toxicity of the academic environment. There is always a pressure to be working all of the time, people compete with each other with how few hours of sleep they got, every conversation with fellow students is just listing off all of the different assignemnts you have to do by the end of the week. On top of all of this, this is 2020. So, I decided that this year I’m going to give myself some mental slack.
I decided that this is the year that I’m not going to try to impress anyone. I’m just going to survive and do what I have to do to move onto the next term. I think I did a pretty good job at that for the first term, so I’ll share a bit about what I observed in myself and those in my cohort. Coming into term one having to choose classes, many of my peers were packing their schedules full of 5 Unit seminars. For those who don’t know, theoretically, a 5 Unit course is supposed to take about 5-6 hours of work outside of class hours. For Stanford Anthropology, most PhD students take as close as they can to 18 credits, and anything over that you have to pay extra for the courses. Taking more courses doesn’t really put you any further ahead in terms of completing your degree, and you’re expected to complete about 45 Units each year for the first two years of the program.
I decided to take 2 seminars (typical), a language course, and a couple filler credits that we are given the option to use if we need 1-3 units to hit 18 total. I,  fortunately, tracked every hour spent outside of the classroom working on each course using toggl (i highly reccomend):
Tumblr media
In a typical week, I spent about 5-6 hours/week outside of class on my Anthro seminars, and about 6-7 hours on Japanese. Japanese was a “for-fun” class so I would usually study more of that when I didn’t feel like reading dense archaeological theory.
Toggl was a really cool way to see where I was spending too much, or not enough, time on my classwork. If it was taking me more than 1.5 hours to get through a single article, I knew I was probably spending too much time on it and should move on to the next thing. My goal for the term was to stay true to the 5 Unit idea of 5-6 hours, and not over-work myself.
Toggl was also useful in tracking my mental health throughout the term, as it is very obvious to see when I just was not physically capable of ingesting 400 pages of reading. For example, election week:
Tumblr media
Election week was really hard for me, and everyone else in the world honestly. I had various family things I was dealing with, typical existential dread, plus it was week 8-ish of the term when everything was already on fire in terms of workload. For one of my seminars (purple), we had to read a book for the following week which I was able to do the sundar after election day. However, for the days leading up to and surrounding the 4th, the only thing I could mentally handle was mindless Japanese vocab studying. One of my seminars really sufferend this week, and I straight up just didnt show up to the smaller Anth 310G class because I had only read the title of the pdf. Fortunately, I emailed my professor of my Theory class and was like “yo dude I cannot” and he replied that he understood and wouldnt call on me during that day of class.
I didn’t do a whole lot of journalling at all this term, but for this week I just wrote “pain” on most days and then YAY BIDEN at the end of it.
Weekly Schedule
Tumblr media
Above is what a typical week looked like, some were a lot lot lot more dense, others not so much, but this was pretty average. Not all things on the calendar are work related, some are extra lectures from visiting professors that sounded interesting, or “Free Boba & Snacks Pick Up” put on by my residence. Monday, Wednesday, and Sunday were my big work days last term, where I didn’t have a whole lot of classes so I would do most of my reading then. On Tues and Thurs I had one 3-hour seminar, and M-F I had a 50 min Japanese class.
I woke up every day around 7am-ish, made a green tea, and sat at the computer to work, filter through emails, etc. On particularily open days I would go grocery shopping, go for bike rides/walks around campus, go buy food/boba.
On class-heavy days, I wouldn’t leave my computer for 8-12 hours, which is extremely ridiculous but that’s the new norm in school in 2020. This kind of stunk because all of the socializing was also on the computer, so even if I wasn’t working I was doing screen related things.
EVERY day I stopped working at 6pm. Rarely did I do readings past 6pm unless I was really slacking somewhere. From 6pm onwards I would do things like play Among Us or League of Legends with my discord friends, eat, watch movies with my partner, etc. And then most nights I would try to be in bed by 12am at the latest.
Social Life
Despite the online nature of things this term, I was suprisingly able to meet a lot of great people on campus. We were all being tested at least once a week, which made in person gatherings with 1-4 people a little less scary, especially when half of the people lived together in one household.
In the first week of school, some of the grad programs put on a “speed friending” zoom event, where I was able to connect with two people really well. We ended up doing a “slow-friending” zoom event afterwards and then created a FB group chat and added all of the people we had met into it. The group ended up being about 15 people, and we would message the group for park hangouts, going to get food, or going on walks on campus. We also had a huge get together in a park for Mid-Autumn Festival, where we sat in a socially distanced circle, chatted, and ate mooncakes.
Most of my socializing came from my online friends, and amongus was a huge savior to my mental health this term wher emy group would play literally every night. I also made a really good friend off of Bumble BFF this term, who I’ve hung out with a good amount for plant shopping and board games.
I’m very fortunate to be in a situation where I can get tested for COVID on a days notice, and very grateful that I could use that to stay a little sane.  My Biggest Accomplishment this term, was not school related. but instead I hit my 365 DAY STREAK on duolingo. This was celebrated with cake. This streak has lived through literal hell and for that I am very proud.
Tumblr media
Overall reflection:
This term was super rough, there were a lot of days where I just napped through it and a lot of days where I couldn’t bring myself to do any work. However, I think the courseload that I took was very manageable and I’m going to continue to go light on myself in that regard.
I really liked the boundaries that I set for myself this term, not working after 6pm and making time to do some fun things in the midst of chaos. I never felt like I was too far behind on work, or that I wasn’t doing enough, because I had a literal reminder in front of me that I had already put x amount of hours into something with toggl.
Sometimes in class I would feel like I didn’t know how to productively contribute to conversation, but I think thats a skill that will get better over time and not being so great at it should especially be expected in the first term of a program.
Socially I met a lot of wonderful people who also made me feel more comfortable will myself. I started using She/They pronouns which feel really comforting to me. I made a lot of little origami cranes every time I was feeling sad. I drank a lot of boba. Watched a lot of She Ra. Played a lot of games. It all ended up being okay despite the weight of everything around me.
Tumblr media
I’m proud of all of you for making it through this year, I know it was really difficult for a lot of people in more ways than it was for me, but we’re still here! Sometimes all you can do it make it to the next day and thats such a big accomplishment on its own.  Please feel free to reach out with any questions about time-management, toggl, phd stuff in general, archaeology, etc! Always happy to help out. :’) Thanks for reading! Lyss

I’m going to share a bit of my breast reduction surgery experience since I couldn’t find a lot of info about people that went through it while being chronically ill! Feel free to reach out and ask questions if there’s anything I didn’t cover below ❤️
Here’s a bit about prep and the first few weeks of post-op recovery (tw for mentions of throwing up, needles, blood, and general surgery talk):
Prep:
I was scheduled for surgery on a Monday and got a call from one of my surgeon’s nurses on Friday (since they close over the weekend) to go over prep. I was allowed to eat until 4:30 AM the morning of my surgery since I wasn’t scheduled until 12:30PM, but ended up letting dinner be my last meal. I asked the nurse if I should take my usual meds before surgery (Xeljanz, tirosint (levothyroxine) and she said no. HOWEVER, when I mentioned that I take corlanor and explained what it does (keeps my heart rate normal instead of spiking to 200) she decided I should absolutely take it with a sip of water the morning of. Make sure to go down the list, ask EXPLICITLY about your medications and explain why you may have hesitancies about not taking them. Sometimes nurses just... don’t know what drugs do what- especially if you go through a surgeon’s practice and not a hospital- and that’s okay! The more thorough you can be the better you can make sure your experience is.
Day of (before the surgery):
I ended up getting called in early since my surgeon’s schedule seemed to be opening up (good thing I didn’t eat wicked late like they said I could!). I was taken back almost immediately. I was asked to pee in a cup for last minute testing (pregnancy tests smh 🙄) and given what was basically tylenol to take while I waited for the anesthesiologist.
The team was very quick to hook up my i.v. (one poke in my hand! that’s a new record honestly) and shortly after the surgeon came in with a student to make guide marks with a pen- we also discussed my goals one last time to make sure we were on the same page about size. I was walked over to the surgical table, situated myself, and got about 5 words in before I knocked out for good!
While I was briefed about the possibility of having drains inserted there was a good chance I would be sent home without them. I personally didn’t need them but you might- and your nurses and surgeon will go into great detail to tell you how to care for them and when you should be able to remove them!
Day of (after the surgery):
This is where it gets the most hazy for me. I know I was kept in the facility for an hour after the surgery but don’t remember any of it. I don’t remember the nurse helping me get dressed, or wheeling me outside. I do remember throwing up quite violently and not being able to figure out where the vomit bag was or how to keep it in front of my face. I do remember the heat really getting to me and thinking I wouldn’t feel so sick if I were inside and cooled. If you have a home with stairs or live in an apartment I highly recommend you DON’T CLIMB STAIRS. Maybe arrange to stay with a friend or at a hotel if you can, or stay on the first floor of your home. Even with 2 people helping me I stumbled almost drunkenly, while vomiting, just praying I could get to my recliner before I passed back out again. It was terrifying and I definitely didn’t have the strength to deal with it- I’m lucky I didn’t crack my head on the concrete stairs outside or fall flat on my chest.
I vaguely remember being fed ice chips (highly suggest having ice ready, as well as popsicles and ice cream) and sleeping a lot. Once I was awake, we discovered I couldn’t take the pain meds I was given due to allergies. I ended up taking extra strength tylenol at normal doses and though I was uncomfortable, I made it by just fine. The pain levels are pretty exhausting but I think the worst part is that it’s consistently achey and feels tight- like your breasts are way too high on your chest. I was allowed to use ice packs for 20 minutes at a time but my cousin who recently had the same procedure was told to completely avoid it. As with most things listen to your surgeon and their specific instructions for YOU and your body- there’s usually a reason.
Post-op (1 day after):
This seemed quick to me, but the day after my surgery I went back to see my surgeon. He removed the surgical bra I was sent home with and I IMMEDIATELY got nauseous and gagged a lot- but once I had ice packs and a cool drink I felt alright. There’s a lot of bruising and swelling the first week so your tits look pretty gnarly. If you have any signs of infection you’ll be put on antibiotics, but luckily for me I seemed to be healing just fine. The back relief and lack of weight is amazingly immediate though! I could already feel miles and miles better.
I was told that I could shower the next day (wed) and to be careful about it. I fully recommend taking it SUPER slow. The release of pressure when removing the surgical bra really takes it out of you. I was able to shower for maybe 5 minutes before I had to tap out and vomit some more. It felt amazing to get clean though.
Recovery:
I tried to get back to work (I’m still remote so this would’ve just been sitting up and being on my computer) 2 days after but couldn’t handle sitting up like that. By Friday (the 4th day) I was much better. I wasn’t nauseous anymore and could sit up and work, pay attention better to the tv/games, and just all around felt more aware and in less pain.
At my 1 week post op I didn’t feel sick when removing the bra and was told I could start wearing zip front sports bras. I could start to lift my arms pretty well and now (at 3 weeks post op) I’m able to lift my arms above my head without any pain or weakness. The 2 week mark is when I’d say I noticed the most leakage from my wounds. While I didn’t tear anything (which is totally normal, just make sure to reach out if it seems excessive!) my bandages did have a bit of blood and fluid, mostly around the under-boob.
My wounds are already fading so well and since most of the wounds are closed up I’m not really leaking anymore. The only pains I have are the occasional ache and a shooting pain you’ll feel in your nipples every now and again, which is good because nerves are reconnecting but really sucks for about half a second.
Having multiple chronic illnesses I think it took me a little longer to get to a place where I felt comfortable resuming tasks. I’m definitely still a little more weak than usual and can’t push myself as far as I usually do. I’ll try to add more info as I remember it and share any questions that come my way!
Overall I’m super happy with the results and the few days of throwing up (which is my personal hell tbh I can stand a lot but vomit is the last of it) were worth it looking back.

The Calling ch 1
Notes/warnings: Bill Skarsgard, Robert, Pattinson, Sebastian Stan Tom Holland and x-reader. This is another story about being an extra. No warnings in this chapter.
ch 2, ch 3 ch 4
Tumblr media
An untitled movie was getting ready to film near you. You weren’t even sure who was in it, but rumor had it the movie Starred Bill Skarsgard, Robert Pattinson, Sebastian Stan and Tom Holland. You couldn’t believe they would be able to afford to make a movie with all these men, so you didn’t buy into the hype.
You kept track of the local casting call website just to maybe be an extra for a little extra cash. Lucky enough that you worked from home so if you got a part as an extra or something you could drop everything and be wherever they needed you to be at a moments notice. It was fun the last few times you did it. The pay was nice to. As you scrolled through the feed of productions you saw it. The movie everyone was talking about was casting extras.
When you read through the criteria it said they were looking for people that fit your description but nothing about what you would be doing. You knew that was common. If you were chosen, they would email you more information. All you had to do is send two to three pictures of yourself, preferably in clothing similar to the 1940-1960 style; and a short bio about yourself if you had any experience but you didn’t need to have any experience for the roles.
You pulled your 50s dress you used to go as Sandy from grease at Halloween and leave your hair down with some curl to it for the first picture you take using your mini tripod for your cellphone. You take a head shot with that look also. Then throw together a rosy the riveter looking out fit complete with a little dirt from outside on your face. You email the pictures and a sort resume mentioning your other work and how you enjoyed it all so much. Next you play the waiting game. Its Tuesday morning and the deadline to hear back is between Friday and Saturday.
You go on with your normal week as per usually. Part of you holding your breath for some little acknowledgment from casting. Finally, Friday rolls around and you scour your email for that one special confirmation but there is nothing. Groceries, cleaning and a nice long shower to wash the day off of you. Reading a book always relaxes you before bed. You yawn after reading for several hours and decide to call it a night. Grabbing your phone for the nightly one more check if there is anything from friends or family in your email, you come across the confirmation from casting.
Congratulation (YN), you will be an extra Monday- Friday of next week for Unnamed Project filming here for the next four months. There will be lots of opportunities for local actor. For now, please sign the attached disclosure form and send it back to us promptly. We will send out another email with what you need to wear and/or bring.
You opened the attached disclosure:
1.       There will be no cellphone while shooting. They must be left in holding. If you are seen with a cellphone you will be dismissed. And we will not be hiring you again.
2.       No talking to the main actors. They are working. They are preparing. They are not there to sign autograph or pose for selfies even if you see them off set.
3.       Follow directions. a P.A. will help you with any questions. Michel from casting will also be in holding to answer any questions.
4.       You will be in holding until a P.A. comes to take you to set and tell you what you will be doing. Please ask questions if you are unsure what to do.
5.       And while onset always be quiet. Filming is happening even if you are not in the scene.
Congratulations again. We look forward to working with you.
Terry Wilson Casting
You sign the disclosure and send it back. You are so excited but can’t tell a soul. That’s the downside of working on a movie that won’t be out for months, you can’t say anything. The only thing you can say is that you are working on something. And you have had a great time.
Saturday before noon you get another email from casting. Please reply if you will be 100% available Monday-Friday. You reply you will be there. In this email is the address of where you will park. Then you follow the yellow signs to holding. You need to bring three outfits, which is the norm for an extra. No hair and make-up tent for you unless the make-up person freshens you up a few seconds before the director yells action which did happen once.
It was so funny when she ran over to you and one of the other extras you were working with to shine and fluff your hair and put some powder on your face. She said how pretty you looked before running off again. It made you laugh really. That laughing face kept up through the fifteen takes of you walking in the background as the main actors said their lines in various ways. You thought it was fun but other extras were not amused at how long it took to film what seemed like a short scene that might not even make it into the movie.
You loved it all. Sitting in holding making friends with other extras. Some of them with hopes of being main actors someday. You loved going to sets even if they didn’t use you, but you got to watch things being filmed. The equipment was fascinating. There were always snacks on set and a big lunch. From burritos to crab legs your last shoot’s food was way more than you expected. This shoot was going to be awesome too. You just knew it.
You get together three outfits as you look at picture examples they sent you with your email. The two outfits from the photos you sent them would do. Plus, you packed a pencil skirt with a button up sweater that looked like one of the pictures. All muted colors. You decide you will wear the dress to set Monday morning for your six in the morning call time.
Your alarm goes off at 4 am. Normally this would feel like some kind of torture. You would hardly ever think of getting up this early. But not this morning. This morning you were excited to be getting up so early. So, many possibilities. You knew you had to hold back your excitement as much as possible. You read an article about getting caste in films and found out the more excited you seemed the less likely they would choose you to be in more than one scene for the day.
You did your make-up and hair. Put on the dress and flat shoes you chose. Made coffee of course. And was out the door in less than an hour which gave you plenty of time to get to holding. You showered the night before to save time.
You found parking easily with the bright yellow signs that shined in the darkness. A shuttle picked you and about a dozen others up at parking to take you to holding in an unused build in downtown. Even though you knew the city well, you were not familiar with the rundown area.
Oh, awesome, you thought when you saw the breakfast truck on your way in the building. One everyone was settled in the room and the crew had their breakfast. Then you were told to go ahead out to the truck to grab what you wanted. Sausage, eggs, cheese and potatoes were offered in a bowl or burrito. The burrito you ordered was delicious. Juice, milk, water, pop and coffee were set up back in holding with a table of various snacks. A lot of people you worked with before were there, so you sat with them discussing absolutely nothing of importance. But you all laughed at each other’s jokes.
A lot of them had been doing this for years. One guy said he has been in extra for 20 years. How did you never hear of this sort of work before being available to you? Most of them worked in the surrounding states also. They were willing to drive up to five hours a day to work or stay the night at a hotel if needed. Still this is not work that 100% pays the bills. Averaging $10 an hour in your area. Plus, up to a $50 bump if you have a car they need. One guy claimed in another state they paid him $100 an hour. But that was only one movie he ever did which paid that amount.
After a few hours a P.A. walks in and looks around the room. He chats with the person from casting for a minute. Then he addresses the room. “The director needs a few of you to walk on the sidewalk and sit in a café. They have sent me to get who they chose.” He looks around the room again and then starts pointing. “You, you and…” You take a deep breath and let it out slowly and he chooses you. “And you. Come with me.”
You get up and smile. One of your acting buddies at the table said, “Have fun. Make the most of it.” And you plan to.

How to Keep a House Clean Every Day of the WeekHow to Keep a House Clean Every Day of the Week
How to Keep a House Clean Every Day of the WeekHow to Keep a House Clean Every Day of the Week
Tumblr media
Keeping your home tidy might seem like an impossible task—but it doesn’t have to be. We put together some of the best tips so you and your family can learn how to keep a house clean every day of the week.
The average American spends one hour a day cleaning their house, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics. Between work, errands, parenthood and the chaos of everyday life, learning how to keep a house clean can be one of the toughest lessons we learn. While it sometimes seems impossible to manage everything on your plate, there are some quick and easy tips to help you get your house (and your life) in order. Read on for everything you need to know about how to keep a house clean.
How to Keep a House Clean Tip #1: Put everything away after use.
This might seem like an obvious tip, but failing to put away your belongings is the main culprit of untidiness. As you move from one room to another, do a quick scan to see if there’s anything that you can take with you. Go out of your way to make sure that anything you wear, use or move ends up where it belongs. It’s easy to leave a pair of shoes near the front door, a few shirts on your bed and some dishes in the sink until tomorrow. Remember, those tiny piles can quickly turn into big messes.
Tumblr media
If you’re lacking space, consider some DIY closet organization ideas like tension rods and shower curtain hooks. Use over-the-door organizers to extend existing spaces in your bedrooms, bathrooms and hall closets. Corral your smaller belongings with decorative baskets and organize your paper items with a mail sorter. And remember: it takes much less time to put away your belongings each time than to frantically run around looking for them when you need them again!
How to Keep a House Clean Tip #2: Do one room at a time.
The easiest way to keep your entire house clean is to tackle one room at a time. By splitting up the cleaning by room (and by day), you can accomplish a little bit at a time instead of tackling every task at once.
Here’s how to keep a house clean by focusing on one room at a time:
Bathroom
Source: Callum Mundine, LED World
From toothpaste dribbles and mirror stains to wet floors and shower grime, the bathroom will endure a variety of messes throughout the week. Because we constantly use it each day, it’s easiest to clean up after yourself instead of waiting a few weeks later for a bigger mess.
Areas to focus on for a clean bathroom:
Clean the sink
Scrub the shower, tub and toilet
Remove mirror spots
Mop the floors (don’t forget those corners)
Looking for a natural, easy-to-make cleaner for your home? DIY cleaners are a cost-effective way to keep your house clean.
Try this simple DIY cleaner recipe:
2 cups water
¼ cup baking soda
2 tsp. dishwashing liquid
3 tbsp. white vinegar
10 drops essential oil
After you use the sink or step out of the shower, take your natural cleaner and spray down the surface. Run the water again to wash all the cleaner off. Voilà—you’ve prolonged your time until you have to do a deep clean in your shower! The essential oil will also keep the room smelling fresh for several days. For best results, ask everyone in your household to make this a habit.
Tumblr media
Bedroom
The key to keeping bedrooms clean is all about storage. If you have proper places for all of your clothes and accessories, you’re more likely to keep your personal space clean.
If you’ve noticed that you don’t seem to have enough space, invest in storage containers or baskets that can fit under your bed. Having a complete change of linens under your bed also makes it easier to change them while your other set is being washed. Picking the right nightstand helps to keep your room more organized as well. Store your journals, books and magazines in the drawers. If it’s large enough, it can double as a work desk.
To keep your bedroom clean, make a habit of these steps:
Make your bed
Fold blankets and throws
Put away clutter in appropriate locations
Dust desks, nightstands and shelves
Vacuum floor and area rugs
Kitchen
Dishes tend to be the culprit in a messy kitchen. Have family members who like to let dishes “soak?” Simply prepare one side of your sink with water and few drops of dish detergent. Throughout the day, add dishes to the soapy side and it will lift most of the grease and food off of the dishes. By the time you wash the dishes or put them in the dishwasher, they’ll be clean.
The kitchen is a great place to apply the 20-minutes-per-day rule. Spend a few extra minutes cleaning your kitchen after each meal, and you’ll never have to deal with a huge mess in one of the most important rooms in your home.
Focus on these areas when it comes to cleaning your kitchen:
Put away dishes—always have an empty sink!
Clean countertops
Organize your pantry and refrigerator
Sweep and mop the floor
Use steel cleaner for appliances
Living Room
Tumblr media
The living room receives some of the most traffic in the house. If you’re not careful, it can easily become littered with an assortment of everyday items. Make sure you place your items where they belong so your living room can leave a great first impression on your family and friends.
Simple steps to regularly take for a clean living room:
Clear the room of any clutter (toys, games, books)
Fluff pillows and fold blankets/throws
Dust mantel, coffee tables and end tables
Vacuum floors and couches (especially if you have pets!)
Storage solutions like these will keep this area of your house clean:
Shoe rack. If your living room is carpeted, the constant foot traffic can wear your carpet down significantly. Make sure you have a place for your family and guests to store their shoes before they tromp dirt and grass through your clean home.
Hidden storage. If you don’t have a home for items like toys, books and games, vertical shelving can help display your things in an organized way. Storage ottomans are also perfect for minimizing clutter and storing things out of sight.
How to Keep a House Clean Tip #3: Stick to a schedule.
It’s one thing to give each room a thorough clean, but how do you make sure your house stays clutter-free every day of the week? Believe it or not, easily: a cleaning schedule. Create a list to keep on your fridge, your wall or your desk to help keep you and your household organized. Your schedule should include not just what needs to be done, but when it needs to be done.
By splitting your small household tasks into daily, weekly and even monthly routines, you can keep your house in perfect shape year round.
How to Keep a House Clean Daily
Most people wait until their house is messy to start cleaning. The trick is to put in a small effort every day to keep your house as tidy as possible. These daily tasks are small but effective reminders of how to keep a house clean.
Six easy ways to go to sleep with a tidy home each night:
Make the bed. The best way to start your day is by making your bed. Simply making your bed each day will have a domino effect, allowing you to keep everything else neat and tidy.
Clean as you cook. As you learn how to keep a house clean, pay close attention to clutter in the kitchen. Throw out scraps and empty packages as you use them. Wash pots and utensils while dinner roasts in the oven. Make sure dishes are put away before sitting down after meals. Cleaning as you go saves time and keeps your kitchen in tip-top shape.
Grab as you go. Make it a mission to minimize clutter by picking up your belongings whenever you leave a room. Bring a pair of shoes with you when you go upstairs, pick up the coffee cup on the counter and take dirty laundry with you on your trip downstairs.
Wipe up messes as they happen. Try not to leave any spills or small messes unattended. Take a few minutes to wipe them up with a damp cloth so you’re not dealing with set-in stains at the end of the week.
Sort the mail. We receive mail every day, and most of that mail turns out to be junk. Instead of letting it pile up in your mailbox or on the counter, sort it the second you walk in the door. Place bills, coupons and personal correspondence in their appropriate places the moment you bring in the mail and recycle junk mail.
Sweep the kitchen floor. The kitchen often sees more traffic than the rest of the house, meaning the floor collects a lot of dirt and debris. Spend a few minutes each day sweeping the floor, and you won’t see dirt being dragged through the house all week long.
How to Keep a House Clean Weekly
Never underestimate the power of a weekly cleaning! No matter how successful you are with the small daily tasks, you’ll still have a few 20-minute tasks to complete once a week.
While a weekly cleaning schedule isn’t necessarily a one-size-fits-all solution, it’s an easy way to carve out one room at a time. As long as you follow a routine that permits you to focus on one major section of your home each day, you’ll never feel overwhelmed. Cleaning your home will practically take care of itself!
Example weekly cleaning schedule:
Monday: Laundry and dusting Tuesday: Bathrooms and vacuuming Wednesday: Living room and mopping Thursday: Bedrooms Friday: Kitchen Saturday: Organizational and miscellaneous tasks
Aside from consistent daily and weekly cleanings, you should also keep monthly and quarterly cleanings in mind. This could include mattresses, lint lines, air filters, blinds and more. By starting with your smaller tasks, you can fill in the gaps with these larger, less frequent tasks.

How to Keep a House Clean Tip #4: Believe in a “power clean.”
Nobody likes to go to sleep knowing their house is a mess. By spending 10-15 minutes on a nightly “power” cleanup, you can prevent piles of clutter from forming in your home.
If you can involve your family members, the more the merrier! Put on a timer, have some fun with it and focus on your top cleaning priorities. Focus on the items that pose the biggest mess (whether it’s your kitchen, kids’ bedroom or foyer) first. Then chip away at the areas that see the most traffic.
Here are some key areas to keep in mind:
Shoes in the entryway
Dishes in the sink
Items on the bathroom counter
Coffee table clutter
Toys on the living room floor

An EXO Fanfiction
pairing: jongin x baekhyun word count: 2 637 warnings: none
summary: Everyone knows that being twenty-three and terribly ill only means one thing.  You’ve put off finding your soulmate for a little too long.
Tumblr media
The apartment comes cheap. Excessively cheap. But Jongin doesn’t really have room to worry about it. Excessively cheap is the only thing he can afford on the tiny savings that have brought him here.
It’s a tiny place, barely room to breathe, much less live. The bed is lofted above a small table, which presses against the chest of drawers that make up the only storage in the place. The swing of the door takes up the rest of the room; the bathroom is shared, at the end of the hall.
But he can live with that, he supposes. It’s not like he has much to his name anyway. And when he’s pulled in what little he has - thrown his blankets on the bed, set his rice cooker on the table, tucked his plants on the chest of drawers - it feels a little more like a home.
He starts work that first morning, pulling an opening shift at a friend’s shop. Only place he could find work on such short notice. It’s not as bad as he’d feared.
Sure, there are a lot of slow periods, a lot of rude customers. But Jongin likes sitting in the back with the flowers, and some of the customers are sweet.
Days come and go. He tires. He pales. Miss Sophie, who comes in every day at noon wearing a blue dress and straw hat to buy exactly three sprigs of baby’s breath, notices. She buys a little red poppy, and tucks it in his hands.
“She wants to protect you,” she says, in the way of wrinkled old women. “Let her try.”
--
Baekhyun has always been active. Sitting still just doesn’t seem to work. There’s always something to do and something to see. Normally it doesn’t cause too much trouble, this need to move. At least, not since he graduated school. He had immediately picked up a job at a local nursery, and it fits perfectly. The little kids certainly don’t mind having someone to run around with, and the teachers appreciate the time to work in peace.
He goes from work to his second job, a few hours in the evening at a little cafe, and then he usually goes out with friends. Sometimes just himself. And then he stumbles in a little before midnight, finally tired and a little bit drunk, stopping just long enough to take his shoes off before collapsing on his bed. He’s not a complete heathen, after all.
But then the third week of November rolls around and it’s like he hits a brick wall. He’s tired, like he’s never been before. He begs off of drinks to go home and read. He calls in sick to the nursery because he can’t pull himself out of bed. He figures it’s just a bug. He’ll sleep it off soon enough.
--
Nothing is appetizing, and Jongin knows it shows.  His clothes are starting to get baggy and he can count his ribs when he stands in front of the mirror.  Junmyeon stops him as he’s clocking out, the fourth Tuesday of January, and invites him to dinner.  Miss Sophie gives him cakes every Tuesday and another flower every Friday and comforting smiles the rest of the week.
But it’s not like it’s worth anything.  Food just isn’t appealing.  Still, Jongin tries.  He wakes up and makes breakfast.  He makes extra rice for his dinner and packs a large lunch.  He forces his food down until he feels sick, and then a little more. There’s still always some left.
When he was fifteen, it was just one of the magics of teenage boyhood, eating mountains of food and still managing to lose weight.
When he’s twenty-three, it’s a little more worrisome.
--
In the middle of February, Baekhyun quits the nursery, collecting hugs and crumpled drawings from dozen tiny hands.  His energy still hasn’t come back from November and it’s finally time to give in to reality.  His new job consists of sitting in a cushioned chair and answering phones for eight hours a day.  It’s honest work.  It pays the rent.
As he crashes into bed at half past eight on a Friday night, exhausted to his very bones, he realizes that he’s scared.  He’s already twenty-five.
--
(Fifth grade health courses all look the same.  An old woman wearing too much perfume walks into the classroom with gym teacher.  She takes the girls to another room, where she teaches them about the horrors of life. The boys get to stay and hear about their own growing pains from a man who survived them himself.
When the groups are brought back together, the atmosphere settles from general disgust to solemn contemplation as the projector hums to life.
“Soulmates,” the film always starts, a deep voice that booms through tinny old speakers, “are a fact of life.  Each of you has one; it is your duty to find them.”  As scenes of domestic bliss play out, it continues. “When you are with your soulmate, there will be no pain.  The world is a beautiful place when shared with your soulmate.  Everything is brighter.  The birds sing sweeter and the wind blows gentler….”  It continues, extolling the virtues of a soulmate.
There’s always one kid who raises their hand at the end of the video and asks, “What if we don’t want a soulmate?”
The adults are always aghast.
“Soulmates,” they warn, “are necessary for life.”)
--
Jongin lives alone in an apartment that is barely big enough for himself and his forest of potted plants, and it’s his own damn fault.  The thing is, he doesn’t particularly care.
He doesn’t care because he remembers being twelve and wondering why his classmates had become obsessed with every mark on their skin, wondering if it was a message from their soulmate.
He doesn’t care because he remembers being fifteen and watching his best friend crushed by the realization that his soulmate was an empty-minded girl who could think of little more than when she could next get high.
He doesn’t care because he remembers being eighteen and finally finding the strength to voice his greatest belief.  “I don’t want a soulmate,” he had said, quietly at first and then forcefully, again and again into frozen air in the middle of the night.
And he doesn’t fucking care because he remembers making a panicked phone call at half past two in the morning, when he was twenty-three and homeless.  “If you really want to be alone so badly,” his father had said, when Jongin finally refused to pretend to care any longer, “then you can leave.  I’m not boarding suicidal idiots.”
Jongin is twenty-three and he still doesn’t want a soulmate.
His apartment is small but it’s cheap and it’s his and he’s happy with this life.
And then he wakes up on the eighteenth of February with a thick black streak across his forarm.
--
Baekhyun stares at the mark on his arm.  The marker drops to the ground as he realizes what he’s done.
He’s never seen a mark like that on his skin.  It’s a child’s game, drawing shapes on your own skin in hopes that your soulmate will respond.  He’d never done it as a child, preferring to mess around with his friends when they weren’t looking.  And no marks had ever appeared on him.
By his seventeenth birthday, he was too afraid to even try. What if he was the one person in the history of the world not to have a soulmate?
But now he’s twenty-five and so, so exhausted.  It’s worth the shot.
Soulmates are necessary, after all.
--
Jongin wears long sleeves to work the next week, terrified of the marks on his arms.  There’s a new one every day and he doesn’t know what to do.  He doesn’t want a soulmate.  He’d even gotten a lifetime of the hope that he’d gotten lucky and didn’t have one.  Now he’s not sure what to do.
Miss Sophie notices, of course, wrinkled hand seizing his wrist and pushing up his sleeve as he hands her her flowers.   “Someone’s a little antsy,” she observes.  “You should probably reply.”
He tries to pull his hand away, refusing to look her in the eye. After a moment, she lets him.
She pauses at the door, old fingers curved around the bottom of the glass vase.  “He just wants to protect you.”
Friday comes.  Miss Sophie buys exactly three sprigs of baby’s breath, and leaves.  Jongin gets no flower today.  Miss Sophie doesn’t even have to say the words; the silence as the door closes speaks them loud enough.
Let him try.
--
Monday morning brings torrents of rain and an ache in his bones, but Baekhyun is too distracted to particularly care.  He’d gotten up before dawn and stumbled blindly into the shower, cursing his stupid job.  Nothing’s strange then.  He’s exactly as pale as he’s always been, save for the black marks up and down his arms, but he knows every one of them, each straight line and careless dot.
And nothing is strange when stumbles back out, skin reddened by the far-too-hot water and the roughness of his towels.  He dresses quickly, carelessly, pulling on a pair of not-too-wrinkled pants and a shirt that’s definitely seen better days.
The only thought he has is of coffee; while the pot brews, he reheats yesterday’s dinner, hoping that maybe it’ll taste better today.
Things only get strange when he drops his fresh coffee on his almost-presentable pants.
Baekhyun scrambles out of the sodden pants, near tears because fuck that was hot.  He drops his pants on the table and stands stock-still in his briefs as his exhausted mind tries to catch up.  It clicks through slowly.  Picked up coffee pot.  Poured coffee into cup.  Wait.  Forgot cup. Poured coffee onto – and cuts off abruptly.  That is not what his thigh looks like.
--
Jongin panics.  Just a little.  Just for a day.  It takes three heartbeats after he’s scrawled three stark words – Where are you? – on his thigh for him to scramble into jeans and sweatshirt and not take them off again.  He’s twenty-three and he’s wasting away into nothing and it’s scaring him, but it scares him even more to reach out.  It feels fake.  He’d rather die alone.
But that’s not really an option.  Death goes both ways, when it comes to soulmates.  And Jongin is no murderer.
--
Where are you? Baekhyun had been asked.  He answers, immediately.  And then he asks When can we meet?
The response comes just before midnight, a hasty scrawl in a spotty blue pen.  It feels like a feather brushing just inside of his skin and there’s the most absurd urge to claw the words out of his skin.  But he doesn’t.  It’s been a long day of stressed waiting and now it’s nothing but relief.
Friday, his thigh reads.  Noon.  Outside the flower shop on 3rd.
--
It’s chilly, but not cold.  Sharp winds tear through the streets, upsetting bins and tearing away awnings.  Jongin taps his fingers anxiously on the countertop as the clock ticks on.  He can’t run.  He can’t hide.  He can’t pretend that this was all some big mistake.  He watches the world swirl by the windows and wonders absently if the window boxes will survive.
The immediate snaps back into focus with the soft jingle of the door.  Miss Sophie walks in, her low heels clacking on the floor.  She looks at him though her thick glasses.  He starts.  It must be noon.
“I’m sorry, Miss Sophie, I have to step out for a moment.” And he’ll swear his voice doesn’t crack.
She smiles at him.  “Of course, dear.” She smiles at him.  “Oh, but wait a moment.  Take this with you.”
He reaches out without even thinking, mind already a thousand steps away.
--
They say that you just know when you meet your soulmate.  They say it’s not a jolt of electricity or niggling feeling in the back of the mind, but a quiet certainty.
Baekhyun thinks it’s like looking in a mirror.
The streets are surprisingly crowded for how chilly it is, this late in February, and he’s been jostled back and forth for almost ten minutes while he’s strained to see faces.  Hoping he doesn’t miss his soulmate.  Whoever they are.
He catches a glimpse of yet another mop of black hair and the whole world slows.  Stops. The man’s two feet away from him, just stepping out of the flower shop, dressed in jeans and a pale sweater. He’s taller than Baekhyun had expected. And then he turns, casting nervously about and Baekhyun could swear he can hear the world click back into place.
Baekhyun is pale and tired and this man is dark and dangerously thin.  It still feels like he’s seeing his reflection walking towards him.
He steps forward.  Introduces himself.
--
Jongin has no words.  They’ve all been stolen away by this intense feeling of belonging.  It doesn’t seem to matter, though.  Baekhyun’s got enough words for both of them.
“Poppies are my favourite,” he says, pointing at Jongin’s hands.  “You like them, too?”
Jongin looks down, confused.  Smiles at the poppy in his hands.  “Yeah.  But this one’s for you.”  It has to be.
Baekhyun’s smile doesn’t quite clear the bags under his eyes. “So, do I get a name with the poppy, or what?”
--
Baekhyun’s thrilled at Jongin’s apartment.  Jongin never thought it was much, just small, and cramped, and horrible, but Baekhyun’s glowing.  He buries himself in the flowers, drifting his fingers over their delicate petals.  He looks blissful.  Due mostly to finding his soulmate, Jongin is sure.
But Jongin feels like hell, because this isn’t something he’s ever wanted.  But he doesn’t want to break this moment.  Baekhyun is happy, and that feels almost like peace.
Best to ruin everything now, he figures.  It’ll only hurt more, later.
“Baekhyun,” he says, and almost chickens out, “I don’t want a soulmate.”  There’s more to say, there’s more he needs to say, but he can’t find the words.  So, he waits.
“Then what do you want?”  If Baekhyun’s hurt at all by Jongin’s words, he hides it impeccably.
“I don’t know.”
Jongin’s panicking and the room is too quiet and too loud all at once.  This is not how it’s supposed to be.  You’re supposed to want your soulmate.  You’re supposed to feel like your life is complete.  You’re supposed to want the perfect life with them, children and a marriage and holding hands as you die.  And he does he does he does, but he doesn’t. Baekhyun feels right and complete and his, but none of that is happy.
But then there’s a hand in his.  “That makes two of us.”
The world settles.  Again.  Baekhyun’s smiling and Jongin can’t help but smile back.  It’s a little ridiculous.  He’s willing to try, just to keep that smile going.
“Poppies will protect you,” he says, and what kind of idiot just says stuff like that?
Baekhyun doesn’t seem to mind, tilting his head and considering the table full of poppies with drifting fingers.  “Will they really?”
“As long as you let them try.”
--
Their apartment comes cheap.  Cheap is good.  Cheap means a plant on every surface.  Cheap means dates to local restaurants where they drink a little too much and fall into bed laughing, after.  Cheap means only two jobs between them and food still on the table and a furnace that works.
It’s not orthodox, not in the least.  There’s a fish, but no children.  There are books, but no marriage.  There’s a bedroom, but two beds.
But they’re happy and they’re healthy and nothing but themselves.
It’s all the poppies’ fault.

Death Of The Bachelor
Chapter 2
Tumblr media
Bucky laid out on the pool recliner, the sun beating down on his smooth chest. He watched everyone from behind his sunglasses, the couple of women were already in the pool. Bikini clad bodies with droplets of water dripping down as they toyed with the beach ball trying to grab his and Steve's attention.
"I heard Sam was throwing a party tonight. You game?" Steve asked, his arms crossed behind his head as he too watched the women in the large pool.
"Hell yeah, booze, music and women. You know me, plus maybe one of the them will be interesting this time." Bucky replied, he closed his eyes and tilted his head back, allowing the warmth of the sun beat down on him.
His penthouse was located in the upper part of the city behind a gated community. Steve has brought these girls with him and even though it was cool that Steve brought company Bucky wanted to find something more entertaining then these two ladies who were playing off at having fun all while poising themselves just to get attention.
"Come on you two, the water feels great." The red head who's name Bucky couldn't remain for the life of him yelled.
"The water feels amazing and it would be a lot more fun if the two of you guys came in." Sherry? Kerri? Melonie? Fuck, he couldn't even remember her name either. Just that she was the blonde one who all about jump him with he opened the front door.
"Maybe in a while girls." Steve shouted back at them with a smile.
———
You bustled around your apartment, trying to make sure it was clean. You didn't get much down time and what little you did you wanted to make sure you had everything neat and tidy.
It was already past noon and you had to get ready, you had a event that the other company you worked for was catering. It was some rich house up in the hills and you could not be late this time. Events like these meant really good pay, something you could definitely use after the last year you had.
After changing into your crisp white blouse and black tie, you pulled on the black skirt that was part of your work attire. You put on some light make up and pulled your hair back, slicking it down and putting a dab of hair product in it so those tiny fly always that always came loose would stay put. Image was everything with the rich, and your boss had told everyone to be on point this time.
You slipped on some panty hose, the second to the last item you really didn't want to put on. For whatever reason they always made your skin itch but you could ignore that easily because of the stupid heels you had to wear for this event. Dreading it, you pulled those on as well, double checking to make sure that they weren't scuffed before jetting out the door.
An hour and a twisty road later you pulled up to the extra parking designated for the catering staff. You locked your car as you looked at the mansion, it was a double story, but somehow the modern architecture and sleakness of the building didn't make it look that way.
Your heels clicked as you headed toward a side door that had a paper in large letters labeled staff. The sounds of music and people laughing came from the brick wall toward what sure was a back deck. Taking a deep breath you entered the building.
The kitchen was stainless steal and the wait staff was already gathering. Trays upon trays, either ladened down with booze or morsels of food.
"Alright you guys." Your boss, a petite man shouted as he stood on a chair so everyone could see. "This is going to big night for us, I know we're used to doing wedding and the occasional Wall Street Christmas party but this is a lot bigger."
You looked around noticing everybody else was listening intently.
"The people that we are catering for are ridiculously wealthy, famous, and this could launch us into getting more gigs like this. This is a lot of money as I told you all, and the more of these we do, the more all of us make." He stated clearly. "So let's go out there and be as professional as possible."
You snagged a tray, just like the rest of the staff, it looked to be mostly hard liquor, whiskey front the scent that light wafted as you pulled the tray up by your head. Everyone filed out and you followed suit.
The sun had set in the short time you had been inside, and gazebo style lights were stung up overhead. A hundred people easily were standing around, some were off to the side dancing around. The pool was unused, lights twinkled off the reflective surface. You didn't wonder why, seeing as how all the women present were dressed to the nines in skimpy clothes and perfect make up.
The men seemed to be dress more reasonable, jeans and tees.
It looked like a socialite party that you had seen in movies, but at the same time just people standing around trying to impress one another. Still you made your rounds, offering a drink as you passed from one person to the next.
"Buck, you want a drink?" You heard from behind you. Slowly you turned, fake smile plastered onto your face even though your anxiety was starting to creep up.
"Oh, I know you." The sandy haired man stated after you turned to face him.
"Tequila Sunrise." You grinned back at him, a wave of relief flooding through you.
"Steve." He chuckled, he was one of the Wall Street men that frequented your bar, not that you ever remembered his name and worst of all he knew it. "When did you start doing catering?"
"A couple months ago." You shrugged as the chocolate haired man from the other day walked up. "And top shelf whiskey, with just a splash of coke."
"Hey, aren't you the girl from that one bar?" He asked as he walked up, he looked from Steve to you. "She is from the one bar you told me to go to, right?"
"Yeah, y/n, one of the best bar tenders in the city." Steve stated proudly turning back to his friend. "His name is Bucky."
"Dude, I told her my name already." Bucky leaned into his friend and whispered.
"Yeah, but y/n remembers names about as well as you do. Drinks though, she can remember easily, names not so much." Steve chuckled, giving you a playful wink.
"You act like I have the worst memory, Steve." You sighed, watching as Bucky took a drink from your tray.
"Fine, what's my last name? I've been going to the Mayer's Pub for four years, so you should know it by now." Steve asked, eyes widening as he turned and point a man near the doors. "And his name, because he is always with me."
"Your last name is Rodgers, you drink a tequila sunrise, two years back it was a Jack and Coke. You generally stroll in on Mondays, Wednesday's, and Saturday about 2:30. And yes, 90% of the time you come in with that gentleman down there he orders either a whiskey neat or Rum and Coke." You rattled off, trying desperately to remember the other man's name.
"It's Sam." Bucky whispered as he leaned in toward your ear, the hint of his cologne catching in the light summer breeze.
"Sam, Sam Wilson. He works downtown, lawyer and partner at Wilson & Stark." You remembered after the hint.
"Yeah, Yeah, show off." Steve laughed light heartedly. "So, how long you working tonight?"
"Hang on, you're working?" Bucky asked, looking over at you with his brows bunched together.
"Yes, why else would I be wearing torture devises like these on my feet? Or be carrying a tray with drinks?" You jested back. "And to answer your question, Steve, until the party dies down enough not to need us."
"Smartass." Bucky retorted with a smirk, you heard a whistle and saw one of your coworkers wave at you.
"Looks like I'm needed elsewhere boys, see ya later." You grinned as you walked off.
