Another day another LU analysis with me!

Dawn 9 is here and with it the end of the next arc of the LU comic is done!

This update did a lot and is also a full 10 pages long! So there's a bunch to unpack!

So, Twilight, four and Time all appeared to get letters, with Time getting multiple (More on that later)

or The letter he's looking at isnt from malon. Infact, by the way he's looking at it i think its from his Zelda. Possibly a report about black bloods in his time period. (As last time we see them in Time's era. They dont actually fight anything)

But... as we know, Time is Twilights direct decendant only by a few generations at most. With the infomation we have from Twilight princess with Shade. And from jojo with Time and Twilight. I'm seeing this conversation as more of a father and son conversation over brothers.

And the rest of this conversation follows this same pattern. Twilight is very much being scolded. He's biting back with what he see's as Time's own words. (not that time know's as such)

The armour is almost identical. He has most of the scaring which lines up....

If the helmet turns up, then i think Time dies during this adventure. It's the only thing i can see as missing.

Twilight.... Now i think Twilight thinks that the gods are giving him an opportunity to save the hero of time from dying to become the heros shade. but thats the funky thing about timetravel.

(Depending on how Jojo and LU time travels works.)

I believe that the timetravel in LU solidifies the adventures of the other links. And that nothign that occours in this adventure impacts their adventures. Even if something was changed it wouldnt change the past.

IE - Twilight breaking his shadow crystal wouldnt mean that wild didnt remember having the wolf on his adventure - as its already happened.

(I hope that makes sense. - time travel is confusing i see it as an alternative timeline type thing)

We just need to read the boss partterns for a bit so we can then decide how to fight it. You know, like we did when we were in our adventures and had to figure out boss mechanics.

Important that hyrule is saying this as his game is arguably one of the hardest. He probably spent a long time on each boss learning attack patterns.

So I have a few theories about the Banquet incident and one that’s a mess of a bunch of different theories and it’s this: picture Older Brother. Older brother is a 4th year Trojan, he’s well liked, but he’s kind of an asshole in private. His dad is Jeremy’s dad - but he grew up with a different surname, because their parents were still together/married by the time he was in school. Jeremy and his sister became Knox kids after their mother married into the Knox family. The older brother was old enough and refused to change from his father’s surname. He tried to fit in with the Knox family but he knows he’s kind of a black sheep for it. He’s the one that’s excluded from public facing recognition, because he’s not a Knox.

SO

Jeremy gets scouted for the Trojans while his brother is still there, and to have his baby brother on the team was INFURIATING to him. He didn’t get along with Jeremy already, but to have him on this team. Oh, he hated Jeremy for that. But the key thing here is he never revealed that Jeremy was his younger brother. He threatened Jeremy as well, and told him to keep his mouth shut, and tell NO ONE that they were related.

Along comes the fall banquet. Jeremy is out as a gay man and has been for quite a while. It’s a bone of contention in his family but ultimately they accept it as long as he is quiet about it, and it doesn’t interfere with their political or public image. But Jeremy’s oldest brother never supported Jeremy and regularly insulted him or bullied him over it. So, Jeremy is out, and he decides to bring a man to the banquet. 1) his mother begged him not to. 2) his sister begged him not to. 3) everyone in his family begged him not to. But he refuses to hide who he is or pretend to be straight for the sake of their image. In the end there’s nothing they can do, and he goes with this man.

Jeremy, little freshman Jeremy, rolls up to the banquet with a man on his arm. It’s 2003, maybe 2004. It’s a huge deal. Jeremy’s older brother doesn’t know he is bringing said man to the banquet, and he fucking glares at him all night. He’s so angry. By the time the tables get moved, he plucks up the courage to cross the hall to Jeremy. Calls him a very unsavoury slur starting with an F and Jeremy hits his brother, he punches him square in the face. He would’ve hit him again, but they get pulled apart and he can’t. Theres witnesses. And still nobody knows they’re related. The brother leaves him alone, Jeremy promises to stay away from him, and the night continues.

Jeremy steps outside to get some air, and unbeknownst to him his brother follows him. An altercation ensues, and eventually they start PUMMELLING each other. His brother hits him first, Jeremy hits him back, there’s blood and bruises and now more witnesses as Jeremy’s brother beats him the fuck up. Somebody called the cops, and the cops have to separate them. They ask Jeremy if he wants to press charges; he says yes. He says he wants it to be reported as a hate crime. They ask his brother if he wants to press charges for assault, and he says yes. So they both get arrested.

Where I think Jeremy’s fear of cops comes from, or lack of trust, or hatred for them, is how he was treated that night. The cops tell him they need a reason to charge his brother with a hate crime, he tells them he’s gay, and he gets treated like SHIT. They search him for no reason, they’re looking for any reason they can to make him uncomfortable or drop the charges. They’re asking him did he do anything to deserve it? Did he antagonise his brother? Has he been drinking? They make him really fucking uncomfortable and upset. by the time his mom bails him out he’s ready to drop the charges, but decides not to. The brother goes to stay with his father, Jeremy goes home, and the Knox family pay A LOT of money to keep this quiet. They don’t charge Jeremy with assault, but maybe they tell his mom there’s nothing they can do about Jeremy’s charges against his older brother if he won’t drop them.

Proceed to the reaction from USC; they recognise it as a hate crime and Jeremy doesn’t get kicked out of school, but he does get a very stern warning and maybe gets benched for a while. His brother on the other hand loses everything: there’s an active hate crime charge against him, he brutally assaulted a freshman while representing the team, and he gets removed from the team and expelled from the university. The Knox family have no choice but to estrange him further than he already was - so he’s totally out of the picture.

Jeremy tore the family apart because of his refusal to drop the charges, then him dropping the charges and instead getting a no-contact/restraining order against his brother means that while he’s living there the brother cannot be in the picture. So brother who is already a black sheep for not being a Knox, is now no longer welcome in the family home (except for when Jeremy is not in the house - if he’s not estranged, possibly he visits on the weekends, or lives there during the summer? And that’s why Jeremy doesn’t live at home during those times?)

The scandal is that he caused a team member to be removed from the team as a freshman, his sister who doesn’t like him that much anyway can now no longer see her brother, and she stopped supporting Jeremy’s matches because of it. He tore the family apart because of his insistence on being “GAY HATE CRIME VICTIM”. They bullied him into not seeking justice - and his sibling hate him for this whole incident. They don’t agree with him being gay because of their political affiliations, his older brother lost HIS older brother because of him, his sister lost him too. Idk

Does this even make sense? Is it far fetched? I don’t know I don’t care I just had to get this off my chest. I could talk about my theories FOREVER. This is just. A quick short summary of the possibility of an oldest brother who’s no longer in the Knox Family Picture.

Man I’m gonna be completely honest: I don’t really care if Monty killed Bonnie or not at this point, but with the evidence we’re given in Ruin (not counting the lil story we get on the gator gondola ride because regardless of what the truth is, that was a [very cute] cover up story for whatever actually happened), there are some things seriously not lining up with Monty being the one to kill him.

First off: Bonnie’s last location was in Gator Golf. How the hell did he end up dying in Bonnie Bowl? Which is what happened, you can see where his head hit the wall + the broken bowling ball around Bonnie’s head, too. And it’s not like he could have been dragged from Gator Golf to Bonnie Bowl - afaik they’re pretty far apart from each other and the cameras would have caught it.

Secondly, and I think this is really important: Monty didn’t get his claws until AFTER Bonnie disappeared. Not to mention that Bonnie had claws to help him play the bass, too. It’s clearly stated that those claws are very good at wrecking shit, but there’s no way something without them could have ripped through Bonnie that easily. That being said, there are very clear claw marks on Bonnie’s chest, with three fingered claws. Personally I don’t think that’s green paint smudged around the injury since paint chipping doesn’t work like that from what I understand, but it might be plastic rub from the casings instead? Or even just dirt tbh - I haven’t played the game myself but looking at pictures/videos of it, it doesn’t really look like that same bright green that Monty or any of the bots are painted with.

Obviously the PeePaw Parts theory doesn’t hold up anymore since none of Bonnie’s Parts are missing, and imo it can be taken either way whether FazEnt actually found Bonnie. They mention him being decommissioned in one of the notes in base game, but that could be a matter of them never finding him and just assuming that’s what happened. It’s implied that ALL of the bots use AI to function, and it’s also implied that Bonnie’s disappearance happened a while before the events of SB, so while I think it’s a little bit of a stretch, it could be that the wet floor bots found him and stayed with him, but being in a hidden room, none of the human employees did.

Despite the Mimic’s prowess, I think it’s very unlikely that it had anything to do with Bonnie’s death as it was pretty clearly stated that it was trapped under the plex for a very long time, before the plex was even built. So unless it he hacked into another animatronic - which is very likely given that’s pretty much the entire plot of SB in the first place - don’t think it had anything to do with it directly (as in it put on Monty’s casings and killed Bonnie as a red herring situation)

Then you have the whole thing with Bonnie’s glowing eyes, which has only really been associated with bots being possessed (and that secret room in SB where you gotta take a picture of all the old cutouts of the gang). Was Bonnie possessed? Did the soul and the AI not merge well and cause him to go mad before taking himself out?

Then we have the whole thing with the MXES security system!!! All that rabbit imagery and the fact that the Glamrocks were a part of that system as well as being under the Mimic’s control, I can’t help but feel like there was some sort of mix-up.

I really don’t know what this all means or where I’m going with this.I think it’s possible that Monty was actually the one who killed him, but only because there really isn’t any evidence (or lack thereof) to say it could have been anyone else. That being said, theres a lot of things not adding up in that story (Bonnie’s last location being gator golf when he’s actually in bonnie bowl + Monty not having his claws installed until AFTER Bonnie’s disappearance being the big ones). If Monty was actually the one to hbe done it, I think it’s possible he may not have done it intentionally/maliciously - I think it’s possible that the mimic had assumed Bonnie was tied to MXES system and killed him through Monty or one of the other animatronics.

It’s really hard to say tbh!!! I’m just more interested in the “why” than the “who” at this point.

screaming crying phils stream today was so good.

i love death family with all my heart and the dynamics at play. the absolute soulread when i said that "hes like paranoid in the opposite way that bad is. bad prepares for every possibly situation and makes sure he has every item for it while phil just ensures he never faces bad situations." phil literally talked about this!!!!! he may not be the richest or strongest but he is the most cautious undeniably. AND its completely reasonable! my heart broke when he asked if he was a bad dad cause no!!!! u arent!!!!

phil takes care of 2 eggs practically single handedly and has full responsibility over them. it isnt like babysitting where at the end of the day theres another parent there. despiter this theres also the feeling of guilt that if either of them die he will be letting down missa/wil. so much pressure its no surprise hes so reclusive + hardcore experience makes him more careful than most too. above all he is a SURVIVALIST!

the little insight into chayannes character was so <3333 light of my life, baby boy, cutie patootie. hes soooo phils boy like, theres a thirst for adventure but danger is only so fun. theres a sense of security and stability which is so unique to this family which becomes more obvious when taken away from that environment. THIS IS NOT SAYING THAT THE OTHER FAMILYS ARE BAD! theres just different stability either from riches, preparation or simply more parents. thats THEIR safety net for danger.

the babies understand phils mindset bc they communicate!!!! god i love communication. they understand that they dont have the same freedom as say richas but they completely get it. longterm safety > momentary fun. it sounds bad saying it like that but the eggs dont really care bc they love! this paranoia kept them alive so far and they still have their slice of life moments. i think these 2 have their armour on the most out of any egg and while phil does sometimes remind them to put it on its so rare that they voluntarily take it off outside the bunker.

also! why tf did the code take pictures of phils base? my memory is kinda shit but i swear the code only took pictures of ninho and not peoples actual bases. should we be lookin into that or was it just supposed to lure phil out of his bunker (cause tbh you have to pry that guy away from the safety of his home). anyways if phils base was the only one that the code took pic of excluding ninho.... thats incredibly concerning. if i remember correctly phils base was the first one to be fully reinforced (i think it was actually illegal but the admins were like meh whatever) idk if it has something to do w that or maybe its because chay +lullah homes are more the bunker than ninho? idk youd think it would take pics of like bads base then too. just seemed strange to me

this was such a ramble i just adore family dynamics and phil is shoving them down my throat. i would love if he joined with the lore but his choice i just feel like hes seen a lot that could be relevant + has pretty good theories.

Tim Drake HC if he never became robin

(Let's face it, no way he was normal. the brain rot is real)

He was thirteen when Jason died, and he was getting pretty concerned for Bruce, but also getting really off put by the violence becuase batman was never that violent

This pretty much culminates in THE INCIDENT

Tim isn't even taking pictures that night, he had after school detention, and because he knew gotham so well, was decently more muscular then the average person and very fast, he was taking his time

He watches batman almost kill someone. The man will never be able to walk again.

He calls the police, and continues hiding and following Bruce, because something was going on, and lets face it, he didn't really have any plans.

He doesn't know this, but lady shiva is in gotham, and doing the same thing

It turns out theres a villan AND hero intervention going on, where clark may or may not be guilt tripping bruce HARD into getting help

However, before Tim can trail him to the intervention, someone catches his eye

He's not that well dressed, Suit looks nice-ish, but the tie is obviously thrifted, and his watch is a little too good (classic signs of working for a gang, intimidation, spurts of money, clearly not knowing how to spend smart)

Tim decides that this is more important. Plus, what's he going to do tailing batman? Get caught while not even doing anything? No thank you

It turns out that guy worked falcon, and long story short, Tim ends up fighting a bunch of gang members in a wearhouse.

He takes out around half before, Oh lookie there, its batman, and he's rescheduled his intervention till the morning.

Tim is proper injured, a few good bruises and a couple generously bleeding cuts.

Then, because batman is fighting everyone in the warehouse, not just goons, because he doesn’t know what Tim is doing there, skewers him to the wall with a batarang.

Tim pretends to be knocked out but is going what the fuck batman inside his head

Shiva, who has been watching this entire encounter, and was very impressed by someone with little to no formal training goes and drops down menacingly from the rafters

She offers to train Tim and he's like sure ;-;

They go back to paris, and just to say, Tim's parents aren't just MIA. They straight up moved out of gotham and keep limated contact with tim, just making sure CPS doesn't get them into legal trouble

Tims fine with that too

So, in paris, Tim and lady shiva are kicking ass. Tim is learning to play dirty but also gains a strict code

He's very clear that he wont kill anyone, and that he believes keeping them alive is a sign of strength. that he wasn't so weak that killing them was his only option

They disagree but eventually Tim's pretty good at combat and Shiva sends him on his marry way (he beats her in a fight by drugging some food she ate four days prior and wouldn't set in until she was testing him)

Tim starts moonlighting league of assassins, just doing whatever really, and finds out the holly shit, Talia had a thing for bruce and his dead hero jason, brought jason back to life, send him and their secret love child to gotham, and also disrespected Ra's

He thinks shes so cool, and decides to drop by gotham, yk go home, throw in a public appearance with his parents, try the new zelda game

TURNS OUT HIS PARENTS DIE ON THE WAY OVER, ON HIS FOURTEENTH BIRTHDAY

What the flip man, says Tim, on live television, reading a text finding out his parents are dead.

He doesn't say what the text was about though, so the people of gotham make a twitter meme about some rando kid at a gala

The whole things kinda a disaster anyway, so its fine (its later known as The Gala of [insert year])

Dick Grayson just got back from traveling (space) and finds out Jason and Dami are alive/exist, and tries hiding in the back, ending up in the same room as Tim

How the kids are turning into phantoms

this is just a list thrown together about symptoms the kids are showing of turning into phantoms, although some may be wrong

(the humanoid phantoms, btw. not the centipedes. i doubt they could turn into Our Friend The Centipede unless theyre pursuing a career in tranformers)

darkening eyes + larger irises ( the most obvious point )

bulging veins ( this is said to decrease body temperature i think...... and also the humanoid phantoms are probably really cold too. but this is also a symptom of exerting force on your muscles like excercise so.... take that as you will )

showing / baring teeth (literally just look at the phatntoms. one of their main attributes is their teeth. the kids have been baring fangs for a while now )

seizures (this has only happened to like two people but..... thats when some of the above symptoms become more obvious )

increased aggression ( bc tell me why taylor and logan are suddenly punching people and shooting phantoms without hesitation ??? all of them move without hesitation now..... they used to be like really scared )

phantom noises ( as indicated by the funny red lines...... this one is also obvious )

better strength / regenerative abilities ( like the tyler scene..... also how aiden recovered from blunt force trauma AND swapping dimensions in like 5 min )

otherwordly communication ( mostly present in ashlyn; she can kinda speak w the phantoms and they kinda understand what she says )

lmk if theres anything else you think i should add !!!

- azul is such a little goofy goober with a good amount of cooking experience but he is oh so understanding<3 he will follow your every instruction even if that means burning himself by your delicious cooking cause! idc this dude has such a sweet tooth, loves cotton candy.

- you turn around to mix the condensed milk and the melted white chocolate together and hes already (SOMEHOW) made the cotton candy into various shapes, making stars is his favorite. then you have to buy a whole different bag of cotton candy bc the shapes are too cute to ruin, now they are toppings. azul will not show you his shaping sorcery, he will watch as you try and find out how he does it though. almost cried when you made an octopus n said it was your favorite.

- HE. LOVES. COLORING. SPRINKLES. you know those sugar sprinkles? yeah, he makes those. sure, you could buy them from the store but you also could make cute messes with him and take pictures for your album. pink and blue sprinkled colored lips turn into purple tongues😼

- azul loves decorating the small fudge cakes with sugar n more cotton candy. they’re so colorful n pretty (just like him tbh) he also likes holding hands with you? if you’re only using one hand, he’s intertwining your fingers with yours. the cotton candy extract that makes the fudge taste like cotton candy? make sure you buy two, he’s downing it like its water. it’s good! the fudge comes out with such a beautiful swirl he shares some with floyd and jade but! this will never meet the menu. not that it isn’t good enough, its just that making it is special, cooking with you is special. he’d like to keep it that way

- he’s usually not that messy when cooking with you, he does somehow find himself spilling the milk… OH! he let’s you wear his hat while you work, you have this happy little trot when you wear it. he’s made little bobas of the tsums, azul, floyd, they may be at the bottom but the fun is actually making the little bebes. jade coats the rim of your cup with water so he can cover it with brown sugar >:].

- HE’LL MAKE BOBA OF YOU IF YOU MAKE BOBA OF HIM‼️‼️ he makes a little cloud of whipped cream so you can place his boba like he’s a little cherry. forehead kisses, all the time. you could be minding your own business and he just mwah. theres something domestic about the little smooches, he cant get enough.

- he’s so happy when he gets to make the tea while the boba is boiling. he’s mixing the tea like (─‿─). also gives you a piggyback ride around the kitchen sometimes. he definitely serves you boba when he makes you breakfast in bed.

- he likes making this because it reminds him of jade which is kinda weird because he’s gonna scarf em down anyway. he actually makes a whole different batch of agar agar to make crystals that look like actual jade so he can give a few to jade. floyd is the definition of chaotic, the kitchen will always end up messy in some way.

- his kisses are never ending, he actually steals them now, sly fucker. now his music is loud but he definitely chooses a chill playlist so he can dance with you. while the crystals are chilling, you two are playing games with each other. mostly bedwars in minecraft, bro is actually cracked its scary…

- floyd likes for you to sit between his legs with your back against his chest and play animal crossing while he feeds you and himself crystals, they taste better that way >:]

Can you imagine how wild family day is gonna be in NRC? Like ye, you get regular people like Trey's parents and Epel's mom but then theres also the Leech twins' mafia boss dad, the royal family of sunset savannah and the queen of briar valley herself.

Yeah, a family day or parent-teacher conference day at NRC would be pretty wild considering the families some of the students come from. I constantly picture Trey just standing there with his head in his hands and having a migraine over being a "normal" guy surrounded by wealthy, powerful people. (Ruggie gives him a part on the back and goes, "Rich people, amirite?" a la Haruhi Fujioka style.)

That is, of course, assuming that the particularly high-ranking parents show up in the first place 🤔 I feel like even if some of them wanted to come, they may not be able to feasibly make time in their schedules to do so no matter how hard they try. Some of the parents may have to do virtual meetings with the staff, whether it's because they're busy or because they can't make the trip. (Like, how would Granny Buchi be able to make it to Sage's Island? Mirror travel isn't accessible to everyone.) Maybe NRC could send carriages to pick up some people (though that means prying money from Crowley)? NRC may also need to drop extra money and resources into security measures (besides the magic barrier) considering all the high-profile people potentially coming onto campus.

Colored Gaze: Simon is the LI that knows everything about MC.

It has been mentioned a few times that there is a LI in Colored Gaze that knows everything about MC and although I've nearly lost my mind trying to figure out who it is, I think I have the answer.

We can go ahead and check Zachary off the list to being the LI. It was said that during the demo is the first time Zachary has met us and that one of the other ones have known us ever since they moved into town. Putting our options to Seth or Simon.

I'll be honest, I was going to make this theory about Simon AND Seth and anaylze the proof between the two but looked at the bigger picture and decided to change it to just Simon since he has the most proof. 

Now this is where reading all 972 posts on the C.C comes into play.

It has been hinted at many times that Simon has known MC longer than just in the demo so there's already a bit of proof that Simon is that LI since he's known them for longer than anybody else.

Theres a few more but it literally takes me 20 minutes just to find one post so take this. 💀

This post is kinda what confirmed that it was Simon for me and I can even use the process of elimination for this.

It can't be Zachary because its been stated that Zachary has never met MC before the demo, the demo was the first time Zachary ever saw MC.

It can't be Seth because if pushed to the point by MC then he'd [SPOILERY THING I WILL NOT MENTION]. Seth is also the only LI that would be okay with breaking up with MC.

But alas the most confusing part of this for me is that Seth also has some proof for being the LI that knows everything about MC which makes things more difficult.

If I remember somewhere on the C.C somebody asked how the boys would react to finding out MC works for the government/FBI and Seth's mentioned something about "He would be surprised that he didn't find that out while researching MC" and me and Kam have theorized before that Seth might have something to do with the government so he might have access to more information than the normal person. I'll talk more about this in my Seth theory but Seth's intelligence could help him with alot of things such as stuff like finding out information about people.

Seth also has some proof from the C.C as well:

"I already knew what I signed up for beforehand" implying that he might know stuff about MC before dating them.

There was also another ask where somebody asked for the boys reaction to MC texting them that they were at the hospital with the police and to eat dinner without them and Seth's answer really caught my attention because it mentioned that he already knew what hospital MC was at. This could be implying he's the LI or that he's just a stalker.

There's obviously hints to what the LI's are like especially since the dev even said there are hints to how the LI feels about MC or how they met. 

Simons playlist was kinda hard to decipher not gonna lie but I did notice alot of songs and lyrics about being a hopless romantic so yeah, Simon is a hopeless romantic for MC.

Now this gives obvious vibes and references to Simon first meeting/seeing MC for the first time.

There were also a few that had a little possessive lyrics and some about what I assume is Simon wanting MC to trust him. And of course some ones implying that Simon was hiding a deep secret. :)

My first initial guess was something like "I love you" maybe and then after he would probably correct himself or say he didn't mean it like that. Something I noticed is that during Seth's route in the demo it mentions that MC forgets to put on their name tag whenever they get ready. However in this scene Simon already calls MC by their name before looking at the clipboard or them telling him their name which gives even more proof to him knowing them before the demo takes place.

There's also of course the walk home scene that it is beyond a doubt that Simon (?) Is the one following us.

We all thought that Zachary was the one at the window but this basically confirms that its NOT Zachary. And it can't be Seth either because even in the route that we don't meet Seth we still get followed and we still see somebody watching us from outside the window. Technically, Simon is the only one you have to deal with throughout the demo if you choose the right options.

It would also make sense for Simon to be the only one that knows where we live because of his job. Or it could just be him (?) following us home.

Theres obviously going to be alot more hints in the next update so we'll just have to wait for that. Until then we can only go off of these little clues and hints here and there :)

Ok, so I've watched Link Click a few times now. And one thing I don't think it really explains is how Lu guang sees the photo.
