Made an 1987 Venus, and a 2012 Venus, so I’ve been long overdue to make a 2003 Venus! Tada~

In this interpretation, Venus wasn’t initially separated from her brothers. Instead, she was raised alongside them-up until the family went on the trip to Japan to return Hamato Yoshi’s ashes. The whole ordeal with the ninja tribunal happened around about the same, however at the end, while erasing the turtles memories, the tribunal saw Venus’s mystic potential and took her away to be trained by them, wiping her families memories of her as well.

Skip ahead a few years, and when Leo his sent away from is family-instead of the Ancient One, he meets her. Another turtle willing to help who feels so so familiar…

Monster High for example.. most of the designs are ugly, sorry not sorry (Specifically the dolls and the animation)

They use to be fashion dolls and not its like..every cartoon now, chunky and just..God the models are so UGLY. Oh my God.

Dollhouse 🏛️🌸💘

Some closer details of the illustrations of Aphrodite and Ares based on that French Barbie movie poster, with the Greek phrase on Aphrodite’s golden apple and Ares’s chain bracelet mean “for the fairest”.

The background was based on this adorable Greek Santorini church dollhouse that were sold on Etsy. A bit of accidental “big fat Greek wedding vibes” for the gods, even though they are not canonically married.

Anyway, yes very much that. Lexa never has any intention of keeping her dress after the big day, so it kind of gets a bit trashed in their wedding photos 🥴 she makes sure to save enough that there's scrapes of lace and beading left unscathed that Clarke can save for one of her over-the-top art creations or anniversary presents for the future that she knows without even having to ask is coming eventually. (Clarke comes through with a hand stitched and embroidered pocket square for one of Lexa's suits made of the dyed dress scraps for their 10 year anniversary, in case you're wondering)

So naturally that chaotic choice means only one thing in Abby's eyes: buy two dresses 🙃 one for flash and the photography shoot and one for the reception. Where Lexa had been fine heading to their reception and changing into some simple linen pants and a criminally low-cut, loose white blouse, instead Abby surprises her and insists on paying for the second number for her to change into because, quote, "oh, honey. I couldn't let you have your first dance in cotton blend 🙁"

12 years into being a part of this family and the Griffin women still keep Lexa on her toes
