do you have a preferred method to get vsts and other such instruments for a DAW?? im poor as heck and dont know ANYTHING about piracy, im so scared of getting goobered by people on the internet

i wish i knew more about the best go-to sites for pirating rn unfortunately i have no clue. ppl on the internet can have such shit intentions too so i dont even know where to look or who to ask. but also here's some free + VERY cheap things u may consider (below the break):

vital synth (i will always shill for vital bc i use it constantly and its free lol)

ob-xd synth (it says buy for $49, but the free download is on the left. the buy link is just a donate)

klanghelm plugins (all these are made by one dude. mjuc is a great vintage style compressor, the dc8c is a pretty featured compressor for the price, sdrr has a particularly nice tube saturation/distortion, and vumt is a great metering plugin, i have vumt on every single project since 2019)

analog obsession (if you donate $5 to their patreon you can get every single plugin they make. also all made and maintained by one person. lots of different things, so i recommend just downloading everything and exploring the functions of the plugins)

tokyo dawn labs (all very high quality mixing stuff. they have free versions of most of their premium stuff and they're quite featured despite being free. ez.)

kilohearts (they recently made all their main effects free. and if you want their flagship stuff, its all rent-to-own as well.)

sforzando (soundfont player. if you dont know what soundfonts are, theyre essentially really condensed, lightweight sampled instruments. they can often sound rlly cheap or tacky [which might be good, i definitely love that sound] but just install this and google [instrument] soundfont and just find lots of free instruments that way)

togu audio line (some free effects and instruments if you scroll down. but i also recommend TAL Sampler if you want a cool sampler and can afford it)

meldaproduction (has a free plugin suite. theres an annoying watermark at the bottom for free versions, but everyone understands. shit is expensive)

native instruments (they have the komplete start bundle which is just a bunch of free decent stuff)

musicradar FREE SAMPLES (ive sworn by a few of the sample resources that i've gotten from musicradar as far back as 2011 lol)

looperman FREE SAMPLES (looperman is a user-sourced sample website where ppl upload samples they've made* and you can just download and use them for free. sometimes people request specific credit, so check for that if you can. *NOTE: its very possible for people to upload unlicensed samples or stuff they didn't make so use your best judgement when sorting through stuff)

freesound FREE SAMPLES (freesound rules always reliable)

synth1 (AHHHH IM SO HAPPY I CAN RECOMMEND THIS RIGHT NOW!!!! synth1 used to be abandonware but was finally picked up again and is supported by modern systems once more. i used this religiously from 2013-2017. and i'm going to start using it again honestly)

valhalladsp (this is the only exclusively premium thing i'm going to leave in this thread [aside from bitwig, below], but it's just that god damn good. every plugin of theirs is $50, so if you can manage to go for ValhallaVintageVerb and/or ValhallaDelay you will basically never need another reverb/delay ever again; would recommend NOT pirating from them if you can help it bc theyre definitely a very small company but u know.. ur call)

bitwig (if you need a DAW, i can now heartily recommend Bitwig. it's on the rent to own program through splice if you're ok getting it legally...)

i know this isnt what u asked but i hope its still helpful. i've also rescinded my recommendations for spitfire audio bc the company was revealed to be run by a bunch of queerphobic knuckleheads. everything in this list i have personally used for my own music and can vouch for them from actual experience (YES even bitwig, i made the song "Futura" on Carousel exclusively with Bitwig, making it the first time i've made an entire song outside of Ableton since 2014).

I loved your autistic reader headcanons. this doesn't have to be a request, it can be some back and forth (like a conversation because I absolutely love diving into stuff like this) I'm curious what else these characters will do/act as a result of the readers autism. I'm bad at wording things so I'll get to the point. Hobie canonically isn't consistent because he dislikes consistency, but maybe a reader with autism needs routine and consistency, so how will that change their dynamic? another example is pravitr, as stimmy and cool as he is he might be too loud and the reader might get easily overwhelmed. gwen and Miguel might not be able to figure out what the reader wants/ needs if they're non-verbal or are struggling to speak their mind. what will jess or malala do when the reader is so hyperfixated on something they neglect their own needs. This isn't exactly a request for a part 2 but you're the first person who posted about an autistic reader (that I've seen) so I'd love to maybe talk about this with you and get ideas because it's exciting. I know talking about this here might not be the best but if you're totally cool with it I'd love to just talk about these ideas elsewhere.

Oh this ask has absolutely made my day, I have SO many thoughts on these characters with an autistic reader and I'm soso happy to have someone to talk about it with.

With Hobie I feel like it leans towards a bit like what I said with Jess but even less structure. like i feel like thered have to be a compromise between hobie and reader (which would be a whole ordeal in of itself if youre anything like i am when it comes to having to compromise with things like this) where maybe every fortnight they have to figure out something set-in-stone like hanging out or something? ALSO i know a big thing in lots of reader insert fics people like is the trope of the spider-person randomly showing up at reader's house/apartment with injuries and (ofc all of this differs person-to-person) i feel like thatd have to be a no-go with these characters and an autistic reader, like for me i feel like thatd be such a huge disruption to everything itd probably be the trigger for some sort of downwards spiral. but i totally feel like thisd be a hard thing for hobie and an autitic reader to navigate bc even right now its hard for me to thinking of possible solutions yk?

Youre totally right about Pavitr and I feel like he'd honestly get it wrong a lot of times (which is not at all his fault), and he can be observant but he also might not pick up on the correlation between him being extra loud/energetic and reader's sensory overload? this also makes me think of things like the headcanon of spider people having enhanced sensory stuff leading to them sometimes also experiencing sensory overload — which isnt really a hc i have for pavitr specifically but i feel like on some level he might relate a bit? or maybe hed pick up on reader's reactions because hes seen it happen with other spider people before bc of that heightened senses stuff? I feel like he's a big physical touch guy and is a bit unsure with how to comfort someone if they do get sensory overload bc they might not want more sensations, which means no touching, so comforting/helping with that might be a bit difficult to figure out for him in that regard?

Ohhh boy gwen or miguel with a reader who has run out of words/in general isnt very verbal would certainly be An Experience. they both DO care but ohhhh there is SO much trial and error through it all.

gwen likes silence but also feels a need to fill said silence at the same time, saying the first thing that comes to mind, so like an autistic person who finds comfort in parallel play's worst nightmare. thats something that she'd probably have to be talked to about pretty outright, bless her heart she can just be so awkward and unsure of herself that she might just not pick up on why you get so frustrated with her trying to fill every silence, probably thinking you find it annoying bc of something she said and not bc you just need/enjoy the silence.

I can just imagine miguel just. watching so awkwardly and overthinking with a reader who isnt very verbal at the moment/isnt At All. hed probably ask them a question over and over and Over Again thinking that might help somehow? i feel like he goes through verbal shutdowns maybe? but doesnt really acknowledge them/know what they are, or is never around people when it happens so hes never really had anyone try to help him/communicate him when it happens meaning he has no experience to like draw from when it happens to you and hes on the other side of it?

jess feels a bit like a 'takes no shit' person to me (not in an extreme way but i kinda just get those vibes?) but is also very understanding. if reader is for some reason neglecting basic hygiene or taking care of themself shes at a bit of a crossroads and would need to kind of see how they feel a bit more, because she knows 'tough love' sometimes works with certain people, but a lot of the time its harder/more complicated than that? I'm still trying to get a good understanding of jess's character at the moment so id love to hear more of what you think abt her

As for Malala i feel like she has experienced neglecting taking care of herself a bit before, from being extra busy or stressed etc, but not really in the way an autistic reader might. shed probably go through a whole variety of things to try to help, and also just feeling a bit guilty knowing how hard it would be for them once they get out of this low point and have to face everything they missed/neglected? thatd really feel discouraging for her i feel. i feel like shes also the kind of person who yes, understand that she cant fix everything for you and sometimes a professional/adult needs to get involved, but she also really wants to try her best to help, and might get a bit overwhelmed in the process

(I leaned into this more being a conversation rather than an official part 2, but im totally open to writing a part 2 if thats something people might want!! Also as for the convenience for where to talk abt this, im happy to just chat here, i dont mind!!) ✧⠀⨾ he loves it whenever you visit, because you take the time out of your day to make sure he is doing well, even helping the servants make some tea for him and clean up a bit after- for some reason Jekyll loves your tea more than anyone else's, you make it so perfectly

✧⠀⨾ he also tends to try and not cause as many mistakes as he usually would while you're there- whether it be via experiments that he maybe burnt himself with or just casually bumping into things, you'll always be at his side right after and be scolding him while patching him up as well

Currently, you were sitting by the side of Jekyll- who has managed to mix up the wrong amount of chemicals needed for one of his recent experiments which caused it to overflow and accidently got on his hand- which burned... a lot. ❝ how could you be so careless Jekyll? look you've hurt yourself again.... Please be more careful around your chemicals, you know first hand how dangerous they can be! ❞ you patched Jekyll's hand up, holding with with delicacy which made it seem as if he'd break if you were careful enough which was true to an extent, Jekyll was feeling weaker lately- he's been more careless with himself and how he acted leading to this mess. However, he couldn't help himself from smiling at you with a fondness- you were always there for him, out of the kindness of your heart and that made him adore you more than anyone else could. You were truly a miracle to him

✧⠀⨾ Jekyll doesnt understand how he managed to meet you and befriend you, but he thanks god everyday for it.

✧⠀⨾ Though when Hyde did see you, all of his rage and anger suddenly just went away?? it left him so confused and almost made him angry and vicious again until you began to talk to him- normally??

✧⠀⨾ you weren't disgusted with him? you didn't find him hideous? you didnt run away, screaming in horror? no, you didnt do that, oddly enough you walked over to him- smiling happily, and introduced yourself leaving the creature so confused and baffled he almost completely ignored you (he didnt though- you were too intruging to him)

You smiled at Hyde, grinning from ear to ear as you held out a hand for him to take and shake. ❝ hello! I'm [name] it's so lovely to meet you ❞ you didnt run away, or looked at him grossed out which almost irked the monster but he stayed out of pure curiosity. ❝ I'm Hyde.❞ he replied almost coldly, though you didnt get angry with him- instead fascinated ❝ oh! yes i have heard of you- you're a good friend of my dear Jekyll's! i dont understand why everyone is so sacred of you ❞ you smiled even more- leaving Hyde to question you and your intentions, yet he made no move to hurt you. Everyone was shocked, sorry- correction- everyone outside, in the beauty of the moon was shocked to see Hyde, the murderer, the man who trampled a girl to near death, the one who smites women down for simply looking his way- walking down the street with the sweet little thing like you latched by his side, smiling from ear to ear as you chatted about something while Hyde listened. You has done the impossible, yet only you could do it

✧⠀⨾ he secretly love having you around, you're the only person who gives him the light of day at the minimum and at the maximum you care for him.

✧⠀⨾ once he returned to his home after getting into a fight with a man who was capable of fighting back- the man obviously was killed as Hyde had overpowered him with sheer brutality and died bleeding out, though he did manage to get a few hits on the deformed man (Hyde) leaving him bruised.

✧⠀⨾ you were waiting for him- happily with a knitted scarf for him (you felt bad for him as it was always cold in the night time of London and Hyde barely wore anything warm) but when you saw him, bruised and beaten you didnt even care about the scarf or how he even got hurt

✧⠀⨾ you sat there, much like how you were with jekyll, scolding him and patching him up carefully- despite him stating MULTIPLE times he can handle it and wont die.

✧⠀⨾ Much like Jekyll- Hyde questions your innocence but enjoys it none the less- the two of you acting as the opposites attract trope

✧⠀⨾ Overall, the two of them adore you so much- you're the sweetest and kindest person to the two of them and they're grateful, in their own ways (Jekyll buys you stuff and Hydes beats people up for you)

“Ok! Ok everyone!” your best friend says as she begins standing up from the dinner table, clinking her glass with a fork as everyone silences.

“I just want to say a quick cheers to the most adorable couple ever! and congratulations on their engagement, i am sincerely so so excited for the both of them and i cannot wait to celebrate their love with them on their wedding day! cheers!” she says smiling at you and john, and you begin to turn red with all the attention on you before everyone begins to clap, finally downing the champagne from their glasses.

It was not your idea to have an engagement party in the first place but john was so excited when your sister brought up the idea of hosting a dinner that you just couldnt say no to him. you hated having so much attention on yourself, but at the same time, its good practice for your actual wedding day.

there seemed to be a lot more people here who you didnt know very well. which you were not expecting. but your sister did plan this party in its entirety, down to the guest list. And although you were grateful for that, you definitely would be the one approving the guest list for your wedding day.

the napkin that lays on your lap begins to slip to the side because of how much you are bouncing your legs up and down unknowingly.

“you doing ok?” john whispers as he picks your napkin up before it falls,

you were doing so well at the beginning of the night that you didn't even notice how much your anxiousness progressed until john points it out.

“I think i just need a moment, ill be right back.”

“do you want me to come with you?” he places a hand sofly against your back, standing up with you

“Its alright, ill only be a minute” you say trying not to worry him to much, but deep down you couldnt wait for the party to be over

you made your way upstairs to your childhood bedroom and laid on the bed feeling so much relief just being inthe quiet room by yourself.

In this moment you were so thankful your mom and sister planned this dinner at your parents house. Your mind was racing with anxious thoughts, and having the freedom to just lie down in your old bed gave you so much comfort.

a knock on the door pulls you out of your thoughts, “hunny? Can i come in?” john says softly and you are so thankful that its him at the door

“yep, come on in” you say as you sit up, your legs hanging off the end of the bed.

“hi my love. how are you?” he shuts the door behind him and makes his towards you, crouching in between your legs as he places his hands on your thighs, slowly moving his hands along them.

“Im ok.”

“i told everyone we’re heading out soon, so your family is starting on the dishes. and i think some people are starting to leave” he says and you smile with relief.

you hated to be the one to tell everyone you were leaving, even if it was getting late you felt bad having to kick everyone out. but john knew exactly how to take care of you. Its so relieving to not have to apologize for or hide your anxiety from him, unlike previous relationships youve been in.

“thank you johnny. c-can we go back to your place?”

“yeah of course” he says as he leans up and places a gentle kiss to your lips.

“anything you want baby” he says after pulling away for a moment and stroking his thumb over your face. He is always extra gentle with you when you felt anxious. It made you feel so lucky to have him.

“thanks johnny” you repeat and he just stares at you. A soft giggle leaving his mouth.

“why are you staring at me?”

“i cannot wait to marry you baby.” he starts and you roll your eyes at his cheesiness.

“cant wait to take you home with me every single night and take care of you every single day.” he says as he plays with th engagement ring on your finger, making you smile at the thought of finally living in the same house together. and having him by your side in moments like this forever.

“Me too jj. I love you so much”

“I love you moreee” he says as you place your hands on his shoulders, giving him a peck on the lips.

he moves his hands from your legs over onto the bed, bracing himself as he pushes you down on the bed with his face against yours.

you giggle into the kiss and he just attacks you with kisses all over your face, making your laughter grow and your anxiousness finally let up.

ive been waiting for someone to do EJ you dont understand!!! i saw this earlier but the power went out when i finally had time to sit down and get to writing </3 my apologies as for other stuff/for everyone else, requests are still open, and the fluff alphabet will be open indefinitely!!

ATTRACTION- Honestly I think you gotta be a real catch to end up as Jacks partner, considering his entire hermit thing... I personally think that he separates himself from society after he becomes Eyeless Jack via a funky cult sacrifice thing... which he was kinda pretty much unwillingly roped into. I think he would want someone who's capable of taking care of themselves, and perhaps someone whos smart. maybe even lower maintenance. its not that he doesnt want to treat you as you deserve, its that sometimes he cant given he sometimes legitimately goes feral (though this is only really due to him pushing off his needs, blood frenzy type deal for when he pushes off eating people, can get real ugly). understanding as well, he needs someone whos willing to be understanding of his position and current predicament and know that eventually jack is going to fully not. be there anymore one day (possible angst idea? ooo?) but also even before the whole, demon thing, jack wasnt the most cheery or social and things definitely havent changed

CUDDLING- hes really cold so thats good for hot nights! not good for cold ones though </3 but hey maybe you guys are somewhere where its perpetually hot. as for the actual act of cuddling, he prefers to be the big spoon. likes sleeping closer to the door, kinda makes a barrier of himself for you in case someone were to come in. which is unlikely since if this were his place, its literally a cabin in the woods in bumfuck nowhere, but the point still stands. only engages if youre asleep or ask for it. if youre the one holding him, he kinda. freezes still and doesnt dare move. poor dude, hes so scared hes going to bite you or something

GIFT GIVING- since he lives in the woods and doesnt have a job he cant exactly go out and give you gifts. he also isnt fond of taking belongings from victims, since he already takes pieces of their bodies. coughs. anyways, i think hes more of an act of service person (will talk more about that in L)

INJURY- youre in luck, he had plans to be a doctor, thats what he was going to college for! plus i think he had a little fixation on medical stuff in general growing up. little hc that his other choice was to be a microbilogist. idk, i can see it. but i dont think it needs to be said that neither became reality. but he does know how to treat some injuries and illnesses! so youre both in luck! but how does he react, emotionally? honestly, as long as youre not bleeding while hes in his frenzied state hes more than willing to help you... although its more so because he doesnt want the scent to trigger anything in him... he cares about you, i promise! its just that ultimately its better he doesnt go feral on you- now if he was the one injured hes already patching himself up... oh but imagine convincing him to let you clean up a wound he got while trying to do his thing.... ouuuugh... let the man be vulnerable, let him be taken care of... ueueue... anyways- yeah

KISSES- he doesnt wear his mask when hes at your place or his cabin- in fact he only really wears it when hes 'hunting' or 'prowling', so!! loves kissing your cheek. will absolutely refuse to kiss you if hes just ate, though, let him wash his face and brush his teeth first. and change his clothes. he likes being kissed anywhere; forehead, mouth, cheeks, hands, ect ect ect. now in terms of frequency i dont think he likes it too often, but that may be some internalized thing about no longer being worthy of love or something but hey who am i to say (loudly winks)

LOVE LANGUAGE- as previously mentioned, acts of service is how jack shows his appreciation and love for you. need something done? hes on it! need to do some chores but dont feel like it? you dont even need to ask! stuff like that, hell, even if something doesnt need to be done he will probably tinker at it and try to make it better if its an appliance or something that can be upgraded to be more efficient and effective. when it comes to receiving he likes words of affirmation, this man has been through hell and hes still going through it, so reassuring him that you still love him even though hes changing makes things a little less scary

PET NAMES- he likes calling you babe and baby. he likes being called hon! doesnt really do petnames, he finds saying someones name intimate enough... which honestly i kinda agree with, i kinda hate how utilized it is in romantic media. just two characters loving each other, sharing a moment, and one softly utters the others name in a sweet tone. GUH!!!! anyway

❥ · ﾟ₊ You sailed the seas with your cover up flag raised high in the winds. yes you were a pirate, yes this was your ship, and yes this was your crew. now you didn't steal a treasure or anything like that, it was more of a crew made just to protect the outskirts of land from pirates with really foul intentions. your cover up flag presented you as simple sailors gathering goods and sailing them across to neighboring kingdoms across the oceans for the trading process.

sure at first you and your crew were looked down upon, after all, having a lady on the ship was said to bring bad luck. you proved them all wrong of course, that sword on your hip wasn't just for style. although not everyone has truly accepted you all yet, that's okay, they'd need you in the end anyhow.

turning the wheel, earlier you had received a letter from the king in the south. he has an offer for you, and you didn't trust this one bit. yet you had to keep your connections with those of the southern kingdom, they were one of the wealthiest kingdoms after all.

your second in command was busy giving your crew different chores that needed to be completed. softly whistling a tune to yourself, you fixed your feathered tricorn hat as you gazed out into the open ocean. if you squinted enough, you might've been able to make out the smallest outline of land.

docking your ship, you left your crew in the hands of your second in command. you didn't want any of them involved with this, especially since you had no clue what this sudden call of your presence was about.

a guard was escorting you to the castle, they offered a ride yet you wanted to get used to walking on land again. being on the sea for so long left you a little disoriented on nonfloating grounds. you preoccupied yourself with taking in the change of scenery and smiling at those who waved at you. now at the gates of the castle, a knight opened the door for you. you walked in with caution, taking one last glance out the door before it closed.

the person in armor led you towards the king's chancery, and this is when your life took a turn for the worst.

King Enji sat proudly on his throne replica of a chair as he waited, once you entered the room he offered you the chair on the other side of him. signaling the guard to return to his post, the king watched with cold eyes as you shifted in your seat.

"do you have any idea why i requested your arrival?" he suddenly spoke.

you stared at him with your best poker face, "for some offer i recall, so what is this ever so important offer the king himself had to extend to me?"

the monarch's face darkened as his flames glowed brighter, "i want you to marry my youngest son."

silence took over the room, was he serious?? it took everything you had not to explode on this man, the absolute nerve.. your eyes must've given away your distaste, about to refuse with your ever so sour tongue, he spoke before you could.

"and before you refuse, i know you and your crew aren't truly simple sailors. the people are already skeptical about you being a lady sailor, much worse a captain. once word gets out you all are sailing as pirates, you might as well say farewell to your seawater life."

oh that's right, the true reason you and your crew covered up as sailors was that people still never accepted pirates as good. surely you'd be burned at the stake if word got out you were a pirate all along..

you gritted your teeth, "what're the consequences for both parties?" annoyance and aggravation was clear in your tone, and all this tyrant did was laugh.

"well since you asked so kindly. if you marry my son, you'll stay here with him and your crew will be free to sail as either a bunch of pirates or sailors. refuse and i'll inform everyone about your secret identities and you and your crew will be doomed the moment you step out of my castle. so captain, what'll it be?"

you felt your world crumble apart in front of you, you never wanted your crew involved with this.. why.. why you of all people?? you weren't even a noble for crying out loud!

what his highness didn't tell you, is that he selected you since you could take charge of your crew with ease and your fierce determination to start your crew on your own. plus the fact that you had been nearly all over the world, including well loved enough by those of the neighboring kingdoms. he loved the amount of connections you brought him.

your head hung low, you didn't even get to say goodbye to your beloved crew.. "alright, i'll marry him." you hope your crew handled themselves without you..

the king smiled as his flames grew brighter with a glint in his eye, "very good.."

and that was a year ago, you had no knowledge of the state of your crew. whether they expanded or not was unknown to you, i mean, how would you know when you're chained to your bedside? the cuffs around your wrists provided a long enough chain between them to be able to stretch and stuff, and that connecting chain was attached to a way longer one that bounded you to the inside of your room. shoto had informed his father that you wanted to walk around your room, so that's basically why you have your minimal available walking distance.

you often stared out through the windows of your balcony, searching for the slightest bit of the ocean. you hoped that one day, you'd see your familiar ship. even if you weren't the one steering.. you had been stripped of your old clothes, only left with gowns nowadays, slowly forgetting your life before all this.

sure prince shoto and y/n did eventually grow to appreciate each other's company, one more than the other, they both knew it was still only an arranged marriage and it would take some time to get used to. although the prince learned to like y/n, neither of them saw themselves as 'husband and wife' yet.

with shoto catching feelings, y/n tried her best not to let them feel anything for him in pitiful yearnings that the king would see it and choose someone else to be queen. due to y/n being distant, shoto took this as y/n hating him. leaving him to treat her to every luxury available that didn't overstep the king's rules.

one day though, shoto had brought her food and while she was eating she was reminded of her past adventures. maybe it was due to it being seafood, but it reminded her of that time her right hand man accidentally fell into the water while he was fishing.

she paused, and shoto instantly looked over in concern, "are you alright lady y/n?"

y/n took a moment before responding, only giving a nod of your head, suddenly having no willpower to lift your utensils to finish your meal. taking it upon himself, shoto gingerly picked up your utensils and hesitantly began feeding you. which was abnormal, to say the least, he's never done anything like this before.. you felt your heart beat loudly in your chest, and you sighed as you couldn't do anything about it.

and this other time, you were given a butter knife to assist you in eating your breakfast. feeling memories flood back into your mind, you proudly wore your captain hat once more. faking a sword fight in her room, y/n happily relived her past. unexpectedly shoto walked in, probably to check if she had finished eating. when y/n saw him, she didn't get embarrassed. instead, she raised her 'sword' and said, "dear prince! I hear by challenging you to a duel! and no fire or ice is allowed."

shoto softly smiled at how carefree y/n seemed to be, taking the sword from his satchel, he tossed it to y/n. she caught it of course, but stared at him in confusion when he left the room. moments after, he returned with a different sword in his grasp, boldly smirking at his betrothed, "I accept your challenge, my lady," he answered back with a glint in his eyes that matched hers.

the two cracked up as their harmless sword fight moved across the room, clashing swords with smiles on their faces as giggles and chuckles filled the room. this was a bonding moment that was expected of them to come naturally as if they were dating. yet they never had time to date, maybe if they had a moment like this before their marriage wouldn't feel as 'arranged' as it is.

jumping onto her bed to avoid shoto, it was similar to how she once jumped onto the upper deck back on her ship to avoid an ambush. king enji walked by the room, pausing due to the loud laughter he heard. peeking into the door, he flashed a sinister grin, "HAHAH SHOTO!! THIS IS PERFECT! Getting along with your wife i see?" than as smug as ever, he walks away.

y/n's cheerful mood is instantly ruined, hesitantly taking off her hat and placing the sword down with her head hung low in sadness. meanwhile, shoto was ready to murder his father, like how dare he ruin y/n's mood?? shoto slowly raised his sword in question, and y/n shook her head. watching as she stumbled over to her bed and flopped down, shoto's displeasure with his father only grew. y/n has lost her carefree attitude, she was closed off again and it seemed like more invisible walls were built. after that whole ordeal, shoto would find y/n sadly staring at her pirate hat and his sword he let her keep.

and one night, y/n laid awake in her bed. she couldn't sleep, both her past and the new addition kept her awake. the prince, she forced herself to hate him. yet how could she keep her facade up when he looks at her as if their marriage was never arranged in the first place?? he's treating her as if he's been in love with her since the very beginning.. y/n isn't much different either, she said she'd hate him, but isn't she the one happily allowing shoto to feed her? or the way she asks him to stay behind with her? or how she finds herself unconsciously tracing her fingers along his scare when he accidentally falls asleep beside her when he stays.

yes, she fell in love with him, but she desperately wished it was under different circumstances. a sudden knock on her door led her to stare into the darkness of who was there.

"lady y/n? are you awake?"

"i think so? i'm still seeing darkness"

shoto silently chuckled, walking over to her bedside with enough grace that it seemed he had her room layout memorized. he patted around her bed for a moment, before taking her hand in his grasp and holding it to his lips, and softly kissed her ring. suddenly the room burst up in flames, y/n sat up wide eyes "what do you think you're doing shoto?!?"

he only grinned at you as a loud blaring alarm rang throughout the castle, he gently grasped your chains and melted them to nothing but a molten puddle on the ground. you gaped at him, before the pounding on your closed door that shoto had most likely locked, started getting too loud for your liking.

"run away with me my lady, let us be free together," shoto practically pleaded with you as he grasped your hands in his.

you coughed, the air was filled with ash. the banging on your doors didn't get any quieter and that's probably the angry shouts of the guards you're hearing too.

you shut your eyes before a determined gleam flashed across your ires. you gripped shoto's hand, jumping out of bed before quickly putting on your hat to make sure it didn't burn in the slowly raging fire. also taking the sword your prince had gifted you, you held him close as the door broke down. jumping out of the side of the balcony, you stabbed the sword into the wall. you kept a firm hold on your prince as you and him descended to the ground. he held onto you just as tight, simply distracting himself with how attractive you looked at the moment.

landing on the ground, you both broke out into a run, laughing at the taste of freedom, "sorry about your blade your majesty," y/n giggled as the adrenaline had yet to run out. shoto simply chuckled along with her as he motioned to the sword on his hip, "no worries my lady, i have a spare."

off in the distance, y/n saw the familiar con flag of her original ship. taking shoto's hand with hers, y/n ran faster, "c'mon prince, run faster! we're going home!" she laughed as her sights landed on her old second in control.

shoto silently chocked on his breath, "pardon me? did you say home?" y/n nodded to him over her shoulder, sending him a cheeky wink as his ears turned pink. the sound of their fast approaching footsteps appeared to have alerted the crew, as now their attention was on the couple running towards them.

"CAPTAIN??? WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU WEARING?? never mind that, LOWER THE BRIDGE!" your dearest right hand man recognized you immediately, and you happily waved at him and your old crew.

he leaned over the ledge, "aye?? and who might that be with you captain?"

you paused, turning around to face shoto, and glancing down at your connected hands. you turned back to your loyal associate with a smile on your face, "my husband! prince shoto todoroki."

Warnings: weird creepy guys, cat calling

Summary: (the request)— as you walked out of work a bunch of creepy guys tried following you home, luckily your friendly neighborhood Spider-Man saved the day

You we’re walking out of work, it was a normal day, if you could call any day normal it’d be today, it was fresh as the sun began to set, and the sky got darker. Your shift had ended earlier than usual, so you walked out and began walking to the subway, so you could go home, and eat something as quick as possible.

You walked down the streets of the city, your bag in one hand, your waist apron in the other as you began stuffing it inside your bag along with your other possessions.

Of course this nice evening had to have turned wrong in some way, it would’ve been much more terrible if New York was invaded by a monster, but for you; New York decided to gift you with men who invaded your space.

A whistle was heard two feet away from you, before a man walked up next to you and began talking to you, saying several things; “what’s a pretty girl like you doing out right now?” The man asked, you tried walking faster but only followed “could you leave me alone?” You asked him, being nice about this never worked for you. But it was worth a try, right?

He continued following you asking more things; he was being a little too personal, and now you had to walk through several streets that led to places you didn’t even know, the one thing you didn’t want him knowing was your address so you just walked through the city, and your stomach was grumbling from how hungry you were.

You lost him eventually after a while of walking, he had lost you in the subway, which you couldn’t be more grateful for. You got on and after getting off walking through the city some more, going to your favorite pizza place, you walked out the building and once again; you were found by another, very much older man.

He couldn’t have been thirty years old, he looked much, much older than that. “What’re y’doin out tonight honey?” The man obviously sounded drunk, he put his arm around you and you took that as your cue to push him away.

“Where y’goin hon?” He asked as he jogged over to you and placed and hand on your waist. You were about to push him away again and jog or run away, but before you could even turn your head, he gasped and pulled his hand away; almost pulling you with him as he fell to the ground.

You let out a quick gasp as the man fell and went completely unconscious before you felt yourself being pulled away, you couldn’t comprehend anything before you were standing faced to face; or mask.

In front of a familiar black goggled mask. “what the hell-” you said with a sign as you realized it was Spider-man. “You okay?” He asked, his hands were placed gently on your midriff, “mhm, yeah I’m good..” you nodded at him as he looked you up and down.

“You sure..?” He asked as he continued looking you up and down “yeah, I’m fine” you reassured him “you have a thing for needing my help, huh?” He said, you could almost see the smirk form in his mask.

You chuckled and nodded “yeah, maybe, but I’m fine thank you for saving the day” you smiled at him, his knees almost buckled as your lips curled up. “So, you don’t want me to swing you home?” He asked, a smirk behind the mask, you wished you could see his face so badly right now, you always wanted to see him.

“Well, no, I’m not denying a swing home” you grinned, “so is that a yes?” He asked and you quickly responded with a nod. He held you by the waist and soon enough he had you in the alleyway, next to your complex. You two walked to the front of the bricked three story building.

“Thank you, again” you smiled at him once more, “it’s no problem, I’m Spider-Man remember?” He said as he walked back through the alleyway, you wished you could invite him inside to have a coffee, or just a conversation. But then again, you didn’t know him, he probably wouldn’t accept the invite, and you had no courage to ask.

So you walked inside and headed up the stairs to your small but cozy apartment, you immediately headed to your room to set down your bag. Noticing a shadowy figure through your window to the fire escape.

You noticed his goggles again, “you we’re waiting for me?” You asked opening the window, “you thought I wouldn’t?” he chuckled, “are you sure your not just stalking me?” you giggled, “m’no” he shook his head gently as he let out another airy chuckle.

“I’d be worried if you were” you smiled, you put your hands on the ledge and leaned a little closer to him, “I wouldn’t do that, without your permission” he said, smiling dumbly under the mask, you could here the playfulness in his voice, but also how sincere and sweet he was.

“Take me to dinner first” you smiled, feeling heat rise up your cheeks, “I could, if you wanted too” he said sweetly, “I would say yes, so you should” you leaned a little closer, you almost thought he leaned closer as well.

“I’ll get a reservation than” you could see the wide grin imprinted in his mask, it made you smile more, you nodded hoping that was a good enough response, you hoped that he couldn’t see how flustered you were beginning to look.

“I really like you..” he whispered, the smile under his mask never faded, “I, like you too” you nodded “yeah, I really, really do” you told him, leaning in closer, he noticed it this time and pulled his mask down to his nose before he leaned in and kissed you.

To say this was perfect could’ve been an understatement, but that was the only word you’d use.

You leaned closer, as much as possible, gripping the ledge of window, one of his hand let go of the web he’d been hanging (upside down) on. He placed it in the back of your head, gently pulling you closer to him, as if you weren’t close enough.

You hadn’t even noticed how your hands had been holding the back of his head too, “I, uhm..” you gulped as the heat rushed to your cheeks. “So, dinner next Friday eight pm?” His grin was visible now.

You nodded smiling sheepishly, “good, I’ll make sure to forget the mask” his grin widened, “thats, good” you smiled at him. He nodded off and said his goodbye, you turned back and walked over to your dresser thinking about how

Alfred has been to the UK many times, but that doesn’t mean he isn’t gonna be very whiney about it. Except when it comes to your family, who he LOVES. Seriously, he would be so great with your relatives.

and make sure that they're always comfortable whether they're in public or in private

he's also the type to glare at people who make rude comments about darling because they are blind

and if they came up to you and tried to make you feel bad, he would verbally berate them

which is strange because karma doesn't speak a lot

God help whoever dares to lay a hand on you tho

they will be wiped off the face of the earth.

karma is definitely more gentle with a blind darling

especially if they have a history of people bullying/being mean to them.

even tho karma isnt one to be touchy or talkative, he'd let darling touch him a lot and he'd speak a lot

so they can know and really enjoy his presence.

so dont be surprised if he lies to darling about things going on in the palace that they cant see

he'll be a little bit like bhodi

in the sense where he'll use darling's inability to see properly to increase their fear

then he'll utilise that fear to make darling dependent on him.

from lying about attacks, to telling fibs that they were almost assassinated-

max will do anything to keep himself in control.

he just wants to be wanted by darling.

he just has a terrible approach to it.

(he may also use his lies to trick darling into sleeping with him)

on the other hand, max isnt all bad

when darling eventually falls in love with him, he will be more open to them

he lies less and less

and he will be more vulnerable to them

he will feel a sense of closeness, because (like bhodi) someone that he calls his loves him for him.

he will kill whoever says anything rude about darling and their sight

doesn't matter if its his parents or a maid or a member of the court.

they're dead.

when darling gets part of their vision back after being turned, max becomes more protective

tho he's a manipulative ass and secretly a softboy, he doesn't want any harm to come to darling

no one is allowed to see them unless he or memory are there.

and he also always carries a spare of darling's glasses in case anything happens to the pair that they wear regularly.

Not what it seems

"So, what have you got, Y/N?" Chloe says as her and Lucifer walk into the lab.

"Not much," I glare at Lucifer, who's messing with the evidence, and he stops. "there are traces of cocaine on the victim's jacket, tho."

"Well, someone liked sniffing around." Chloe and I both ignore the joke.

"Yet, he had none in his system. And no history with drugs, either."

"Right, so, maybe someone who messes with them is guilty." Chloe nods at his observation and starts walking away.

"I'm going to look more into it, see if I find people in that business that were connected to him." She exits, closing the door behind her.

I go back to work, until I notice Lucifer lingering over me as I go over evidence for the fifth time today.

I turn to look at him. "Everything alright, Lucifer?"

"Me? Of course."

"... Alright then. I'm going back to the crime scene, see if I find anything else."

As I start to walk towards the door, his hand catches my wrist, making me turn to him.

"Yes?"

"Um, I...just be careful, alright?"

I don't know what to say, instead, I just furrow my brows and part my mouth.

"It's just, the detective wouldn't like anything to happen to you."

I nod, now understanding what this is actually about.

"...Right. Yeah, I'll be okay."

I release myself from his grip and make my way towards my car.

After a short drive I arrive to the victim's house, seeing the yellow tape wrapped around the area. I leave the vehicle and start walking to the entryway when I feel a pair of gloved hands hold a cloth against my nose.

My head feels light and my mouth dry as I slowly peel my eyes. There is no light and I have no idea for how much time I've been out.

"You shouldn't have gone back."

I try to search for the source of the voice, but I can't see anything and I can't tell wether it's the darkness or the state of dizziness I'm in.

"What do you want with me?" My voice is hoarse and barely hearable, but I receive an answer anyways.

"With you? I want nothing with you. I just wish you hadn't been so curious, then I wouldn't have to do with you what I have to do now."

Just as I see a masked figure walking towards me from the dark, I hear two gunshots. The man walks away to look for the source of them, and then I hear Chloe's voice.

"You get Y/N and I'll get the killer." She shouts to another person, which I'm assuming is Dan.

I remain seated with my legs tied to the chair and my arms behind my back. I hear running steps, and once I see their owner, I can't help but feel a little safer.

"Y/N!" He releases a breath I didn't know he was holding, and, by the look on his face, I assume he didn't know either.

His loolk lingers on my face for a second too much, but he is quick to start untying me. Once I'm free, he helps me up to my feet.

His hug catches me by surprise. "Are you okay?"

"I-im fine." I find myself leaning against his touch and releasing tension I also didn't know I was holding in.

"Lucifer, did you find her?" We hear Chloe's voice echo.

'Y-yes, I found her, detective."

"Okay, leave!"

"What?" I ask this time.

"Just leave, get her somewhere safe."

Lucifer's hand meets mine and we rush out the door. Once we meet the moonlight, we are breathless from running.

"You should probably get some food and water. Lux is only a few blocks away, do you mind walking?"

"I can just get a cab home, it's fi-"

He cuts me off and repeats his question, pausing after every word. "Do you mind walking?"

"No"

He nods. The walk to his penthouse is quiet and calm, as the ride on the elevator. I sit on the couch as he takes off his jacket as throws it on top the piano. He makes his way behind the bar and pours two glasses of whiskey.

"You should probably have some water, too."

"It's fine. I'm fine, Lucifer. I don't need anything"

"Well, of course you do, love."

My stomach flips at the casually thrown nickname, but I make sure not to show it nor look his way.

"Is everything truly fine, Y/N?"

"Yes, it's fine. So fine I should get going."

"Is there something you're not telling me?"

"I-" I can see his mind debating whether or not he should actually tell me anything he's thinking about. "Are you really that clueless?"

He walks towards me, shortening the space between us. He is so close to me I can see the glint in his eyes and the way his lips open and close as he breathes.

"W-what?" My chest rises up and down, nervous about our proximity.

His eyes linger on my lips and search for an answer in my eyes. An answer to what, that I don't know. I try to take in all of him, knowing this is as close as Lucifer will ever get to being as vulnerable as he is right now. Both physically and emotionally.

After a few seconds, we both can't take it any longer. I crash my lips against his'. They move in syntony, like it was a habit. Not even a minute goes by and we have to pull back to catch our breaths. Our chests rise and fall together and I can hear his beating heart.

"I have been waiting ages to do that."

"What?" I open my eyes to see him already looking at me, with a surprisingly adoring look on his eyes.

"I have been waiting ages to do that. To kiss you, feel you."

"I...thought you hated me."

"Oh, darling," the back of his hand meets my face, pushing away a few strands of hair and tucking them to my ear. "I could never hate you."

His lips meet mine once again, both of his hands grabbing the back of my neck. He starts walking backwards and I follow, not breaking the kiss.

Suddenly, the moment is broken by a ringing phone.

We break the kiss, once again, and he fishes his phone out of his pocket, answering the call.

I can hear a voice on the other side, frantically speaking.

"Yes, yes, she is fine, detective." He smiles at me. "Alright, we'll be there in five."

Treasure February Reading 2024

note: please take it lightly

Hyunsuk

Love: he is in a type of relationship however it doesnt feel like it is something official. From what I can see, Hyunsuk is seeing one of his close friends regularly but they aren’t into something serious

Career: he is just so frustrated, and I believe that he isnt enjoying being an idol so much at the moment, mostly due to some of the companies decisions for him and for the group overall. Hyunsuk also is fed up with delays when it comes to his projects

Self: he is doing better than what he had been doing a few months earlier. I suppose that he is working on himself a lot so he doesnt dwell on misery and also being around people he likes helps a lot

Jihoon

Love: this is complicated, because I have a feeling Jihoon is seeing someone but that person might be gaslighting him and he probably havent clicked on it yet. He is single tho, but he really likes this one person who wont be giving him much in return

Career: he is pushing forward, he is being impassable and going for what he wants. Jihoon isnt scared of asking the company what he wants and his energy is also something YG appreciates so they tend to give him what he requests when it comes to his career. He pretty much had things how he wants it

Self: he is doing fine, if I may say, he doesnt have a single fuck to give to anyone in the world, he doesnt care about anything but himself at the moment and thus prioritizes only himself through the process

Yoshi

Love: his situation is a little bit similar to Jihoon, he too is seeing someone that he truly likes but that person isnt giving him green lights for something serious and is keeping it casual “for the sake of the careers”. He is accepting it.

Career: I do have a feeling that he doesnt like being an idol, or at the very least he just doesnt like how Treasure are going artistically speaking which annoys him a little, but at the same Time he doesnt complain about it because he knows saying anything will only bring him problems

Self: mentally its rough, I think Yoshi is still battling a lot of emotional and mental issues and grieving that he has yet to heal and overcome

Junkyu

Love: at the moment I dont think he is seeing anyone nor interested in anyone mostly because he is scared to get into a relationship and be toyed again or be hurt so he prefers to keep himself away from people who could potentially be a threat for his heart

Career: he has been procrastinating a lot, not doing much doing trainings, not taking things as seriously as he used to mostly because he doesnt see the point in doing so. Junkyu thinks the group lacks in progress and that it isnt worth to push too hard

Self: both physically and mentally it is complicated. He is a men that gets easily trapped in certain patterns of thoughts which impacts his energy negatively. Physically his body also feels a little weaker than usual. He needs to be careful with falls

Jaehyuk

Love: boy is single and heartbroken from the previous relationship he had. He is still not over it and I believe this is something rather recent and that he has been trying to hold it in for long but its starting to be too much for him

Career: Jaehyuk has a very powerful sponsor behind him and due to that he is living rather comfortably with his life and the projects for him are already set so he doesnt worry much about things his other members do

Self: he has been holding his head high, he has been trying to assert a certain dominance over his group as well because he wants to be seen as someone capable, as someone reliable, as someone capable of leading

Asahi

Love: he is single, as his last relationship didn’t work much due to Asahi being too focused on his career and having very little time for his relationship. And at the moment this continues.

Career: I feel like he hasn’t been very close to his members lately, he hasn’t been in contact with them whenever they are on private schedules or in solo times and he usually retrieves whenever he doesnt have schedules out of necessity of this mental health

Self: despite all, Asahi is someone hot tempered and very strong mentally and he knows how to deal with things to make his life easier and smoother. He is doing rather okay at the moment

Haruto

Love: this man is in a relationship but not out of love but out of interest. The person he is seeing have a stable financial background and Haruto is using that for himself as he needs to be secure and while still being in control of things

Career: listen, honestly this man seems happy with his career and with his job, he would change much and what people say about him doesnt seem to be affecting him as much as he might often let on. Haruto is a thick head and he knows to play out things

Self: he needs to be careful, I feel that often Haruto gets stuck in old pattern which could make him do through a very dark path. He needs to be careful In the situations he puts himself in, so there wont be anything bad attached to his name

Doyoung

Love: Doyoung is in a relationship but things aren’t going very well. I see that Doyoung is extremely jealous of his partner and because of this, there’s often arguments, but also he gets just extremely moody and sets unrealistic goals for his partner which again, leads into conflict

Career: he isnt very happy with how things are going on inside the industry, but it doesnt feel like he mind it either. Almost like he is used to it and he now just doesnt care. He will do this job when needed

Self: Doyoung is okay, both physicaly and mentally he is doing strong, being sociable yet independent and molding things, shaping things the way he wants them to be in his life

Jeongwoo

Love: Jeongwoo is also still in a relationship (I believe it must be the saem as the last time). This person is older than him it is someone that supports him financially as well. Honestly, despite that which could be an initial red flag, the relationship seem to be something long term success

Career: he needs to be extra cautious with things. I have a feeling that Jeongwoo can rub people the wrong way but the things complicate when he rubs people he shouldn’t in the wrong way. This could have impact on his career

Self: honestly he is doing well, he has the money provided by the company but also his family and his partner. He is living a very luxurious life and kind of being generous to the people around him since he likes to show his wealth to others

Junghwan

Love: this man is also in a relationship at the moment, something that came out as an opportunity after he and his partner have been talking for a while. It feels still new, so they havent been dating for long

Career: he is so bored with whatever YG is pulling on them. He doesnt like the concept, he doesnt like the music and he doesnt like anything about the group at the moment. If YG keeps this up, Junghwan might become like some of his members and detach himself from enjoying performing

Self: he had been through some rough phases, both mentally and physically . I do feel like he had been battling some type of diseases ? (Dont know if that makes sense) due to a very bad karma, but things are slowly getting bette r

anygays.

someone on anon sent an ask saying “why do you want the white lady to be stereotypical?” in reference to this post where i said i reject the canon that she doesn’t care about any of the vessels, just seeing them as tools to seal the radiance and only experiencing shame in the fact that it was her eggs that were used to produce them.

lemme elaborate on what i meant by that.

(tl;dr at the bottom of the post)

(cw: mentions of child neglect + implied child abuse)

it’s not that i want the white lady to be the general fanon stereotype that she’s actually a loving mother to all her kids, including the fallen vessels in the abyss, i simply want her to treat holly like her child because thats what they are. they’re a living being who deserves all the love and more that they never got in their childhood because their parents thought they were effectively a lifeless creature.

now, i project onto them a lot. they’re my #1 blorbo and comfort character in hollow knight, so i give them the same needs i have and write other characters as providing to those needs. that includes parental love from the white lady, their mother.

in my aus, wl isnt a motherly figure to all the vessels — in fact, she’s actually kind of scared of most of them. she only really acts as a parent to holly, because she knows they’re alive and that they literally need it to stay that way. they call her mom, she calls them her child, and she’s grown really attached to them because of that.

wl didn’t initially view holly as her child — before their escape and rescue, to her, they were just another failure. just another impure vessel. she didn’t honestly care about what happened to them, at least not too much (they’re still her spawn, and she felt some guilt in seeing them this way, but she shoved it down and continued acting like everything was fine). but after the fact, holly themself said to her that they genuinely see her as their mother and want her to treat them as her child to make up for the decades of neglect they went through. hearing this, and knowing they’re a living being that literally just wants the love they were never given, and already having an innate desire to protect her young, she agrees to call them ‘child’ despite not fully seeing them like that.

after a while, though, she did start developing a genuine motherly love and connection to them. of course, at this point in time in my main au, holly is still very much trying to impress pk to avoid getting thrown into the abyss and dying (which he wouldn’t do, but they don’t know that), so they never call wl ‘mother’ around him, and they requested that she do the same for them (which she agreed to do bc she doesn’t want them getting hurt any more than they already have been).

tl;dr, im sad and need the comfort so i gave a lore reason for it to happen canonically in my aus.

(also, in twins of void, wl just always loved diligence. she knew right off the bat that they were alive and she decided “fuck it, they’re my child and i love them, the other one is pure they’ll be fine,” despite pk’s wishes for neither of them to form any unnecessary attachments in the case that purity wasn’t pure.)

(in reign of light, she doesn’t want anything to do with moon. something to do with them fusing with radi. more angst fuel for the angst au!)

ok INDIVIDUALLY. foxhound era since thats our favorite :)

null is wary of pretty much everyone. if anyones the type to self isolate, its him. that being said, hes most attentive when it comes to matters of either work or matters of big boss. null is bibos little guard dog (affectionate) SO hes more suspicious of david than he is caring of him. especially since he Does Not vibe with miller or ocelot AT ALL. david getting special attention only makes him more of a concern.

frank... honestly doesnt know him, really! very VERY rarely does he so much as show up in headspace while theyre at foxhound. it just isnt his business and he stays away from it. what DOES get him out while hes there is getting letters from naomi :) thats his sister :) naomi :) but even then, he knows better than to do just about anything while hes around. hiding them away until he dissociates back out. otherwise, he'll only sorta be present in headspace at most via positive triggers.

fox :) dave thats his little guy. its funny not knowing whats wrong with you and only getting a name for yourself way later but yes he steals the name gray fox away from the rest for himself. he mainly exists in spaces where a certain level of camaraderie is necessary while out on business, but he doesnt usually do the work himself (hi null!) that being said, he IS the king of pretending to be human for the sake of establishing (superficial) relationships w his peers. he just has a very distinct personality of Faking Everything because if he thinks too much about his purpose as an entity he'll start itching for pain. which, ha, is a pretty big trigger aside from established environment. specifically self-requested/initiated harm. ironically grounding Specifically for him. but yes :) dave he likes that guy thats his little guy who doesnt mind when fox acts weird and does what hes told and is cute while doing it and (no this isnt love, i dont even know what that is!)

and as a special treat, mr ninja... ah ninja, you elude me still, but i can say insofar as that involuntary pain/harm is one of his bigger triggers, pulled off of null when he split, actually! he knows david as a Name, more than anything. a concept which establishes [an end]. he isnt nearly a masochist (i can literally tell you whos fronting where in mgs1 cutscenes somethings wrong with me), but rather just an entity who exists in a weird bubble of ignorance and simplicity (also pulled off null. post mg2 null is, how do i say, Different from pre mg2 null). very (tell me what to do and ill do it), holding onto the idea of (needing to die) and (snake killed us. he can do it again).

omg...thank you for handing me the mic im so touched

the answer is yes! i do miss parker macmillan. i also miss megan ito! i miss them both so much. (also i feel deranged how it is confirmed that the book was the reader but im keeping my megan ito as reader thoughts forever!!!!)

i mainly focus on their relationship / megan ito more than just solely parker, but thats just how i go i suppose! parker to me kinda works in my brain how i believe that megan ito would exactly see him, and its kinda fitting in that way? (i do feel bad for that though) (im also paging @citadarkisle because hes my fiance and my parker interp is *heavily* based off his! he got more indepth thoughts on parker than i could ever muster)

so the way megan would describe parker would be this: a broken player who is a rival both and a friend, and full of *potential* melded up in one ball! with one issue: the parent issues. at least, thats how megan ito summarizes him and his issues. she kinda molds him into her narrative and makes him ripe for the saving and for the salvation that she truly believes she can bring to him.

parker in the meanwhile is kinda...passive to this? she isnt particularly harmful to him, and just having his boundaries be, as he would maybe describe, *gently* walked and trampled all over isnt really as bad compared to the literal hell his life is with being pulled at ten million directions and somehow being hated and revered at the same time... so like megan? yeah shes kinda like...maybe agreeable to that.

they have a roommates situation at megans place which is kinda pathetic-sad. awkward, quiet nights sleeping in the same bed because their relationship is like........ .............. incalculable. there is admiration there, but wrong? its to the left. there are arguments and boundaries crossed, but never to the point where they ever break off their friendship. and even saying *friendship* is odd. they were friends, yes! but then they got into a weird grey area........

i dont think theyve ever held hands or kissed or brushed arms or anything like that, actually. i dont think theyve had the silent-love filled room moments where they lock eyes and are smitten or like, believe that each other held love for each other. i think they knew they were in some *position* but not sure what it was. i mean they sure as hell were something more than basic friends. i think parker had normal friends somewhere in his teams! and megan too! but oh my god i think they were just in an interlocked battle that parker want *nothing* with but megan just had the fixation to keep holding him on.

i believe that megan is at heart a kind person and didnt mastermind the stolen forcefield out of ill will. i saw that action as a last resort for her. that she was willing to put their friendship on the line to make *visible* change in parkers life. she had an infatuation with fixing his issues, to finally pull him out of his shell, and to be *right* most of all. its kinda why i draw megans gaze towards the symbolic *orb* whenever i draw them together. i just love the symbolism of her being so fixated on something that doesnt exist, or doesnt need to exist, or that she never really properly took his words or history or anything truly to heart because she *felt* for his *situation* more than *him*.

you ever feel compelled to solve something for someone else? a problem that is so deep and beyond your means but feels so *tangible*? that youd do anything and would throw yourself into it to finally have it accomplished? to solve it *for* them, because you think you can see it from the outside and that gives you the authority and allows you to rob them their agency? these are the sort of questions that i play around with the parker + megan relationship as a whole....

i hope this wasnt too long!!! id love to elaborate more on specific details if anyones curious, but yeah! thank you ; - ;

An stressed and extremely explosive reader x Kinger, Caine and Ragatha. (The old hags trio haha) let me explain it to ya

Reader is always stressed because of they are pratically stuck in a digital world with (supossedly) no way out, so instead of freaking out and/or getting slowly insane, Reader is very agressive and explosive all the time.

Especially in IHA, because they have to bare the fact that they need to pass through "stressing" situation who sometimes could be a near-abstraction experience.

Everytime reader gets too stressed because of something, Reader explodes and they are screaming around or with the cause of the problem if its a person (AHEM, JAX-) and only calms down when they are stopped by others or when they spend some time alone.

Anyways i just basically wants to see how would they react seeing reader have something similar to female & male rage moment.

(if this makes you uncomfortable, feel free to ignore this request, and im very sorry for making you uncomfortable if thats the case).

CAINE:

he can and he WILL put an immediate pause on the current IHA when he sees its making you really overwhelmed. he may even dismiss the entire event just to make sure youre okay; you mean so much to him and if youre getting this close to abstraction just from getting upset hes going to be there for you. i think it would actually make him tone down the intensity of IHAs , at least a little bit... he doesnt really know what qualifies as "too much" so please be patient with him!

makes sure to do everything he can to help; want him to go away? hes already launching himself to the other side of the grounds. need him to talk to you? hes going to be saying whatever you need him to say for as long as you need him to. very nice very silly i love him chews

RAGATHA:

similar to the other two she takes you off to the side, probably takes you to her room or yours and lets you work your own feelings out however you need to get them out. this isnt the first time youve have an outburst, but it doesnt make the glitching any less scary. tries to calm you down with her voice, giving you things to squish and mess with.. just as long as youre not hurting yourself she wont intervene with your method of calming down. very sweet about it. if youre anything like me, then youre probably going to be tired afterwards, and she will let you sleep. will crawl into bed with you if you want here around, if not shes going to respect that... if it was someone who riled you up shes going to make sure they get an earful, as well as keeps a closer eye on that person when theyre interacting with you because she doesnt want you to be this miserable all the time

KINGER:

nearly dies when he sees your body momentarily glitch, well at least as close as he can to dying in that moment. hes immediately rushing to you and talking a mile a minute trying to ask if youre okay, which admittedly probably makes you snap at him. overstimulation is one hell of a thing, but as long as you explain yourself and apologize when youre in a better place then its going to work itself out. kinger tries to take you off to the side, away from whatevr it is that was upsetting you. be it an IHA or another circus member, hes going to take you into his pillow fort and leave you be. he waits outside by its entrance, anxiously waiting for you to give him the go ahead to enter... very stressed out man he wants more than anything to comfort you and talk you through it but he knows you need alone time during times like this
