When I don't ask my runes any specific question they tell me things like, "The breath of God and the primordial water nourish the seed of human creation." When I do the same with my tarot cards they say shit like, "Wash the dishes, whore. One day your parents will die."

Six Grounding Exercises
1. Tree Yourself.
Being ungrounded happens when you are out-of-balance. When energy is blocked, you are unable to access the support of the earth and the higher awareness of your spirit.
A simple grounding exercise involves the visualization of yourself as a tree. First, close your eyes. Next, visualize roots growing out from your feet. “Extend” these roots through the ground and going all the way down. Anchor them at the center of the earth.
2. Meditation.
Meditation helps bring about awareness. You notice the subtle energy changes within your body. You know if you are out-of-sync or if you have become ungrounded.
Practicing body awareness or moving meditations is helpful.
You bring your awareness into the now, rather than the past or the future.
You are aware of your physical existence even while increasing your spirituality.
If you are grounded, you are conscious of yourself and your current surroundings.
You don’t have to spend hours doing meditation. In fact, just half an hour a day is enough to expand your awareness.
3. Get Physical.
Physical activity helps to remove any accumulated toxic energy in your aura. When you shift your energy from an overloaded mental focus to a physical one, you can clear away any mental debris. Getting connected through physical activity does not necessarily mean that you must join a gym. All it means is to allow your mind a chance to take a break.
4. Nature.
Going out by the ocean or just being in nature is a wonderful way to revitalize. Working with soil or clay helps in grounding. Simply touching the earth helps. Gardening is a wonderful grounding activity as it reconnects you with nature.
5. Grounding Foods.
According to Ayurvedic Medicine, there are grounding foods that you can eat, and it suggests Potatoes, Sweet Potatoes, Carrots, Ginger, Avocado, Mango, Papaya, Grapes, Olives, Berries, Coconuts, Figs, Melons, Green Beans, Egg Plant, or Yams.
For flavoring your food, use warming spices such as ginger, nutmeg, garlic, cinnamon, cumin, coriander, and cloves. A dash or two of fennel and/or sea salt also works.
6. Grounding Crystals.
Obsidian
Black Tourmaline
Smoky Quartz
Jet
Blue Kyanite
Simply hold the crystal in your hands, and visualize any unwanted energies flowing outward, and into the crystal itself. Occasionally, you will need to cleanse the crystal by putting it on the soil of the earth to drain and clear it of any negative charges.

Hey witchlings I've got a tip.
Y'all should seriously experiment more.
Like as long as you understand things like why you're doing an action, the risk, or for example how to undo a spell, try new things. I'm begging you. My practice is built from scratch upon finding inspiration and then experimenting. You can do stuff you've never even seen in a book or online. No one is stopping you!

I think when beginner artists ask for tips and such from more experienced artists and then get annoyed for the same old answer: you just gotta practice, I just think it’s a problem with how they think art has to work.
See, the thing is, there is not one answer that makes your art good. Because art has no rules. I just watched a reel on instagram and a person drew a foot completely differently from how I do it.
So much about art is about intuition and you can’t necessarily explain it to someone, even if you wanted to. Like sure, most of us start with boxes and simplified skeletons, but after some time we just do what feels best.
It’s something that confused me for such a long time in art school, because we all drew so differently from each other and I always wanted to please my teacher but I struggled a lot with being confident in what I did because I didn’t know if I did things wrong or not. The simple answer is there is nothing to do wrong.
You gotta need to find your way. And yeah, tutorials and finding teachers is a great way to do so, because you can watch another person do their stuff and it’s getting explained. But then you need to translate it to your art and it gets influenced by your penmanship and your taste and your goals.
It’s just, like, look around you and draw what makes you happy and let your hand guide you. Look at things intensely and study them. It’ll all be fine, I promise. You just gotta be patient and enjoy the process. Be proud of yourself for creating something, even if it might get no audience. Do it for yourself. You put something into the world you did yourself! Isn’t that fucking cool? I think it is.

“Like a roaring star, he thundered down the long shoot, and Manon moved with him, meeting each gallop of his powerful body, each step in time with the beat of the wyverns locked in the belly of the mountain. Abraxos flapped his wings open, pounding them once, twice, gathering speed, fearless, unrelenting, ready…
Fast as lightning arcing across the sky, he plummeted toward the Gap floor…
Down into hell, into eternity, into that world where, for a moment, she could have sworn that something tightened in her chest. She did not shut her eyes, not as the moon-illuminated stones of the Gap became closer, clearer. She did not need to. Like the sails of a mighty ship, Abraxos’s wings unfurled, snapping tight. He tilted them upward, pulling against the death trying to drag them down. And it was those wings, covered in glimmering patches of Spidersilk, that stayed strong and sturdy, sending them soaring clean up the side of the Omega and into the starry sky beyond.”

Remind Me
Manon Blackbeak x Reader
a/n: based on this bingo card
nsfw under the cut (18+ please)
“Just my fucking luck,” you muttered as Manon stepped out onto the balcony, the sounds of celebration and music audible from just inside the palace.
“Cope,” Manon said simply, leaning against the rail.
Despite the anger boiling in you at her presence, you stole a glance at her. Her creamy, soft skin. Her long, white hair hanging loosely down her back—
No.
“Don’t you have better things to do, than stand out here and bother me?” you questioned, now staring up at the moon.
Manon laughed, the sound low and bitter. “Don’t flatter yourself into thinking anything I do is related to you.”
You ignored her. Ignored her face. Her intoxicating smell. Her perfect body.
“Aww, did I strike a nerve?” she mocked, taking a couple steps toward you. “Poor y/n.”
“Fuck you,” you spat, glowering at her.
“Hmm…” Manon hummed, eyes boring into yours as she looked down at you. “You’d like that, wouldn’t you?”
You scowled, trying to brush off her tone of voice, and the way she sent heat pooling at your core.
“It’s alright. You don’t have to say it. I can smell you,” Manon declared, shrugging.
“Fuck you,” you said again.
Manon bared her teeth in a smile that held no warmth. “Can’t you come up with something different? Or are you just that stupid?”
You glared, face heating with anger. “I hate you.”
Manon didn’t flinch. Didn’t so much as blink. “Is that so?”
Before you could react, she flipped you around, your stomach harshly pressing into the balcony railing as she hiked your dress up over your hips. She dragged a finger through your slit, reveling in the mewl that fell from your lips.
“Can’t hate me that much, if you’re this wet,” Manon mused, teasing her finger at your entrance.
Someone could walk outside, see the two of you—
You bit down a moan as she slid her finger into you, pumping slowly.
“What? Dumb little slut can’t speak?” Manon teased, before adding a second finger. “Come on. Remind me how much you hate me.”
You stifled the moaning that threatened to rip from your throat, gripping the balcony so tightly your knuckles turned white. “I fuck—fucking hate you, Manon.”
Manon used her free hand to pull your hair, craning your neck as she whispered in your ear, “The way you’re squeezing my fingers tells me otherwise.” She curled her fingers against your sweet spot over and over, bringing her other hand to your clit, circling the nub quickly.
Your legs were shaking, whimpers falling from your lips as you neared your orgasm.
“I can feel you,” Manon whispered, increasing her pace. “Come for me.”
You cried out her name as your release barreled through you, her fingers still working you through the aftershocks. When she finally pulled away, she turned you around, readjusted your dress, and licked her fingers clean.
“Remind me again, how much you hate me?”
You didn’t reply, too stunned to speak.
Manon tutted. “Thought so.”
She went back inside without another word.

The witchling and the god - Masterlist
Summary: The Avengers were looking for someone to help Loki fit in with the team. To become socially acceptable, so to speak. He had been given the choice of sitting in a cell in Asgard or serving some sort of community service probation on Midgard. The Avengers and Shield both felt that as long as Loki was on Earth, he should be under supervision. This is now your job. Why? Because you’re a witch. You’re not sure why this qualifies you, but here you are, giving it a shot. What could possibly go wrong?

Happy Pride ♥️🌈
Here's a short excerpt from The Warmest Winter short story -
Graves was walking around and inspecting the room when she came upon Cotton Swab. “Is this your rat?” she asked, eyes wide. “Yeah, I don’t have access to real monstruos yet, but I will! Cotton Swab is nice—are you afraid of—” But Graves had already picked the fluffy white rat up and was smooshing him tenderly against her face. Cotton Swab closed his eyes happily. The only thing he loved more than cuddles was cheese. “He’s gonna get in your rucksack and go home with you if you keep that up.” Graves put Cotton Swab back in his box, lined with a little rat-sized blanket and pillows. “I wouldn’t mind! I love rats. Buuuut are we gonna handle actual monstruos too?” Valley bit her lip. “Seven was supposed to bring one of her raccoons. I’m not sure when she’ll get here though.” “I see.” Graves nodded, circling a chair then plopping herself into it. “Well, Prof, teach me about monstruo hunting!” Prof? Valley blushed. That’s what witches called their favorite professors, like a nickname because it was cooler and cuter than professor. She wasn’t sure why, but it made her stomach flutter with a hundred moths for Graves to call her that.

Magic to find a lost item!
I've seen tidbits like these circling Tumblr but I thought I'd make a post describing specifics.
Ingredients needed: Pin/needle/anything of that nature, and somewhere you can safely stick that item such as a pincushion.
What you do: Stick the sharp object into the pincushion with the intention of "pinning down" that item for you to find.
Optional: You can add oils to the pin, I would recommend protection oils so the item is returned to you safely. You can also surround the pincushion with crystals and/or herbs of your choosing to help get the item back.
Once the item is returned to you, remove the pin from the cushion and thank your tools for helping you get the item back.
