I am extremely honoured to contribute a comic to this year's edition of the Delémont'BD's HORS LES MURS exhibition series. This year's theme is "the kiss." A physically intimate act, often painfully forbidden to do due to these pandemic times. . An accompanying exhibition catalogue is available from today and is peppered with some extras on the contributions by those many artists (cover by Anna Sommer). . As part of the Comic Festival, the contributions will be exhibited as posters on public billboards from June 8th to 14th and can be read mainly in Delémont and all the larger towns in the French-speaking part of Switzerland. . This year's edition of the Delémont'BD Comics Festival will mainly consist of a museum trail with 20 outdoor exhibitions/installations, entitled "Wonderful Gardens", which will be freely discoverable throughout the old town of Delémont from June 11th to July 11th. . An opening party as well as exhibition openings and book signings by invited comic artists will take place from June 18th to June 20th - with a focus on the 19th of June for the festivity’s. . Wether this was a violation against the Antiracismlaw is still to be determined. This followed amidst the yearly discussion whether racism during carnival is to be perceived as a „traditional and kind joke“ or purely as racism.
