Joaquin Phoenix & Lady Gaga’s Epic Thriller Joker Folie à Deux Set To Premiere On October 4

We have witnessed many psychological thrillers over the years but not many musicals of the genre. The only one I can recall now is the Johnny Depp & Tim Burton classic ‘Sweeny Todd’. We saw the soul-fracturing Joker performance by Heath Ledger in ‘The Dark Knight’. Joaquin Phoenix’s portrayal in the 2019 epic was also nothing short of extraordinary. So, expectations are sky-high for Joker Folie à Deux!

Wano Arc Is One Piece’s True Masterpiece

One Piece Wano Arc has come to a satisfying end with our favorite fourth-dimensional pirate Monkey D. Luffy defeating one of the ‘Four Emperors’ Kaido in a record-breaking battle. The combat between the two of them is literally the longest fight sequence in anime history with their battle spanning 50 episodes. This is simply nuts and here I thought no anime would ever rise above the infamous Dragon Ball series’ long-stretching combat sequences.

Will Grave of the Fireflies make you cry?

There is no sexual content in this movie, no graphic violence or not even bloodshed and gore elements. If you are looking for the things mentioned above, you are probably not an adult; at least not in the department of having a mature taste in feature-length films. This is one of those movies that only the mature can swallow.

Ranked #61 in Berardinelli’s Top 100, this animated title is worth all the hype that has been built around it over the years. I can confidently proclaim this as the best animation film I have ever watched; not even Miyazaki‘s masterpiece  Spirited Away and Shinkai‘s epic  Your Name come close!

Can Moana 2 Rescue Disney From The Huge Negativity Abyss?!!

Initially planned as a TV series, but the quality of its graphics compelled the makers to release it as an animated film. It already has a history of doing good in the animation department that’s for sure. Prince Of Persia 2024 The Lost Crown Of Success Or Failure

The nostalgia of our childhood, Prince of Persia is returning to us after whopping 13 years. Ubisoft recently announced their upcoming project, but with a different title now which is Prince of Persia: The lost crown. The interesting fact about the upcoming game is that you won’t get to play with the iconic Prince Dastan. Ubisoft has gone and done it again. From Assassin’s Creed games with no assassins to a Prince of Persia game with no Prince and this gamble may well prove to be the doom of the epic franchise with Prince of Persia 2024; let’s hope not!

The Nun 2 Fails Miserably To Scare

I have reviewed sub-par screenplays in Deshi Geek before but none have disappointed me more than ‘The Nun 2’. Let’s take The Witcher Season 3 for example. It had all the flaws in the world but the Warner Bros. horror flick takes the cake in that regard. Do not make the assumption of mistaking ‘The Nun 2’ as complete garbage as it is a quite potent cinematic experience. However, the horror factor that is supposed to scare us is not up to the mark.
