You wondered why you were alive, why you survived. Your hands bloodied with the blood of many. You don’t want to keep living. You don’t deserve it. The hopelessness grips onto your bones, settling deep within your soul. Everything is numb, yet you still smile your fake smile, you still laugh that fake laugh. It didn’t matter how many people you were always around, the inexcusable feeling of being lonely weighs down on your chest.

Johanna has noticed something different about you, but you cannot seem to bring yourself to care. You can’t seem to keep up the act.

After training you were exhausted, mentally and physically. You quickly darted out of the training area, speed walking to Johanna and yours room. When arriving at the room you quietly closed the door, going towards your stash of razors you picked out the sharpest one.

[i tried it like before and this time i made a deep cut]

You rolled up your sleeves, not even wincing at the way they stuck to your past wounds. You took a deep inhale, pressing the razor hard against your skin before you exhaled and drove it deep into your flesh watching as the blood oozes out.

[i thought about my friends and the way i didnt give enough]

Distantly, you should’ve known it would’ve been too deep. The blood starts to ooze out in a faster yet still somewhat sluggish pace, you feel dizzy and lightheaded. Vaguely you thought you didn’t really want to die.

[and i shouldve told my mother, “mom, i love you,” like a good son]

You stumbled into your desk, before you could think much about it you cut even deeper on your other wrist. A smile mixed with relief and remorse carved its way onto your features. You hear the door open, but you can’t really focus on anything but going to lay down.

[but this life is overwhelming and im ready for the next one]

“Y/N! Oh god… what did you do?!” Johanna yelps, running to you immediately. You can barely make out the words she’s saying. All you can think about, is how you’ll finally be free.

[take the blade away from me]

“Let me go…” You whisper, your voice sounds weak and slurred.

[i am a freak, i am afraid that]

Johanna shakes her head, “No! You promised… you promised me.” she says, desperately.

[all the blood escaping me won’t end the pain]

Johanna desperately screams for help, you vaguely see Katniss run in, the shock and despair on her face is heartbreaking.

[and i’ll be haunting all the lives that cared for me]

You can’t seem to get your eyes to stay open, you can hear Johanna screaming, crying, and sobbing, yet you can’t bring yourself to stay awake.

You woke with a start, looking around you you see that you’re in medical. You clench your teeth. Looking down you see the bandages on your wrists and … tears start streaming down your cheeks.

“Y/N? it’ll be ok. i’m here,” You sob even harder at your girlfriends words.

“I’m sorry… I’m so sorry.” You sob into her shoulder, gripping onto her shirt like its your lifeline, and it very well could be.

At least, at least you have Johanna. Two broken people trying to love, trying to heal.

They did Orihime so dirty in the anime. They left everything out and turned her into the damsel in distress trope and that is just not what happened at all. Like, yes she had almost no offensive power in the beginning, and she is the defacto healer, but her character development in the manga is so good and so glaringly obvious and in your face. I literally dont know how people dislike her. Orihime is actually one of the best and most multifaceted nuanced characters ever, and she doesnt get enough love or credit for everything she did for Ichigo (and by extension soul society and their friends) without question. Unwavering loyalty, even when they questioned if she had gone to Hueco Mundo of her own volition, after the soul society arc wanting to get stronger so she can protect everyone too, so she doesnt have to look at Ichigo's back while he protects her, so they can fight shoulder to shoulder, even though she cant fathom the enemy that they're going up against, even though Tatsuki gets her soul damn near sucked out, even though Chad's arm gets ripped off right in front of her eyes and all she does is immediately step forward to use her powers to reject and reverse his injury. She watches Chad get his arm ripped clean off and then tries to fight against a monster 8 times her size, because she doesnt want to buy time until Ichigo arrives anymore, she wants to fight too! We dont acknowledge that she is a 15 year old girl being threatened with the lives of all the people she cares about if she doesnt accompany Ulquiorra to Hueco Mundo, and this girl has no family left, her friends are her family. Her absolute unshakable faith that at least Ichigo, if not all of their friends would come for her no matter the risk. (Six hearts will beat as one) WHY DOES NO ONE FUCKING TALK ABOUT THE MOMENT SHE IS HAVING HER OWN POWER SPECULATED ON BY AIZEN, SHE REALIZES IF HER POWER IS THE ABILITY TO REJECT PHENOMENA, THAT SHE IS GOING TO TRY AND DESTROY THE HOGYOKU BY REJECTING ITS VERY EXISTENCE? THAT IS ONE OF THE MOST GIRLBOSS MOVES IN ALL EXISTING MEDIA. We dont talk about how fucking down for Ichigo she is in that moment in his fight with Grimmjow, when she is afraid of him, afraid of the hollow inside him, afraid that he will be lost to it like her big brother was and have his soul consumed, about how the second she decided he was still Ichigo, and he always would be that Ichigo was able to pull out the win. We dont talk about how the boy she loved got murdered right in front of her eyes by her kidnapper and manipulator, and in that moment calling out for him to protect her was more powerful than death. Ichigo was only able to use his hollow powers like that without losing himself (and he almost did) to them BECAUSE it was at Orihime's explicit request. Orihime deserves everything, she is the ultimate ride or die and not just for Ichigo, for everyone she cares about, and even for the people who dont deserve it. She healed those two arrancar women who were beating her to a pulp after Grimmjow busted in and ripped them apart, one even called her a monster as she was healing her because she didnt understand how Orihime could be so selfless in the face of such violence directed at her. She calls Orihime a monster because she herself is a monster and cant understand someone like Orihime that will help anyone with no bias just because it's the right thing to do. Orihime is literally the best fucking character and you cannot change my mind. So much of BLEACH is about the words, the feeling, the symbolism, and Orihime brings something to BLEACH that despite all the amazing dialogue and intense feelings and amazing battles, other characters at their best just don't bring to the series for me. She was the most underpowered, uninformed character just thrown into the middle of a literal supernatural war all because she wanted to do the right thing and help her friends and the boy she loved.

Headcanons:

none of the puppets can swear if a child is around. Like physically can't. it's a failsafe Al added JUST IN CASE. they can if everyone is an adult however, but usually dont.... usually.

i am a gordon transman truther and i am going to die protecting my truth. grumpy old man deserves the world

also a ray HOH truther. i dont think his hearing was ever the same after the sewers and all that heavy machinery.

In relation to the last headcanon, he only got hearing aids after failing to hear the fire alarm during a drill... gordon found him inside and confused as to where everyone was. ray got his hearing aids the literal next day.

i like to think al was initially intending a lot more with the show, but got kind of trapped in the "doing what's always been done" and cutesy kid stuff. Especially since i can see the CNBG blocking him

they turned down a lot, and Al had never been bold enough to try and push back, beause he was afraid of losing hat he'd worked for.

RICHIE TIME. Richie is indian/mexican. he first tried to get into other shows or movies after leaving MFN but ironically... hated how grim they all were. there wasn't even an ounce of goodness unless it was to be used as a misdirection.

One of the things the CNBG pushed back on was the puppets (or at least some of them) having different races/ethnicities/nationalities etc. because Al wanted it to feel like a real neighborhood.

Pearl is Singaporean, Norman is hispanic on his mother's side, Ricky is african american, and Ray is scottish/irish, Gobblette is from Appalachia. The other puppets are still kind of a WIP on my end deciding

All puppets can clone themselves, they just need enough material. Larger puppets require more material in general, and so clone less.

The dogs are mostly clones. Started w/ just Mahoney and then they cloned themself twice into the other 2.

Puppets like Pearl, Ray and Gobblette who are large and fully dexterous (have you seen pearl leap?) have inner metal frames, theyre not particularly hard or poke-y, but they help hold the puppets structure like bones.

Gordon is physically disabled in some capacity, personally i've got a few headcanons on that, such as the asthma and a bad knee (as well as some others that are a bit in the realm of spoilers for my fic sorry lol)

He also has multiple medals. (three to be specific, but i cant tell you what 2 are yet.

Gordon to me is the biromantic ace guy who just never understood the appeal but shrugged it off like "im sure everyone dreads that part of a romance and just does it because its something you do."

Shirley coming back (hell even just being alive) was a shock to every puppet who doesn't go to the basement. they didnt know that one of her made it to the basement and stayed hidden with ray. Pearl stared at her for like a solid 2 minutes while trying to figure out if she was real.

ow this was exactly as long as i was expecting. i probably have many more i cannae remember em tho.

TBH I know a lot of people absolutely HATED the fact that BristleFrost was the one to sacrifice herself at the end of TBC but honestly. I genuinely dont think the series would have left off on such a powerful note had she not. If RootSpring has died I would have considered it a bore tbh, and if ShadowSight had died I 100% would have considered it a waste of his character. I mean even by the end of the series his character doesnt feel quiet complete! I'm hoping he gets some more development in the new arc because he left off on such a depressing note!

Like I honestly consider BristleFrosts' death the most emotionally impactful in the entire series. Not necessarily the most iconic. But for certain the most impactful. Im not sure how to describe it honestly. The way her death is played out and the way it is portrayed to effect those closest to her is written in such a beautiful but also heart-wrenching manner. It really feels like they wrote it with genuine thought and care, at least to me - you dont usually get death scenes like that out of a kids book!

We never get that same effort with most warriors deaths. Usually when a key character dies it is brief and/or in the heat of battle, perhaps an emotional goodbye is exchanged, and before you know it everything has moved on and there is hardly any sign of grief. And when you really think about it, just the knowledge that although a loved ones death may hurt, they are always waiting happily in the afterlife... Just makes it less painful. Like yeah it sucks they wont be present in the clan anymore but they arent gone forever, theyre chilling away in Starclan!

But BristleFrosts death feels so real. It's genuinely the only scene out of any warrior cats books to trigger a genuine emotional reaction out of me. Because it is real. Shes gone. 100%. No coming back. She wont be waiting for her loved ones in Starclan. She wont be walking in their dreams. Shes gone and shes dead and she didnt even deserve it, really, and she shouldn't have been the one to sacrifice herself in the first place, when you really think about it - but she did it anyways, without a second thought, because thats just the type of person she is. Determined to do what is right without hesitation.

And its just the fact that... Despite all of this, despite the knowledge that she will never come back, she managed to feel pure joy and happiness in her last moments... is just lovely. She didnt die alone or afraid, she didnt die regretting her decision, she didnt die feeling bitter that *she* was the one who had to risk it all, she died feeling loved. And I personally believe of all the cats to die in such a manner, to leave the world filled with warmth, BristleFrost deserves it most

ANYWAYS NONSENSE RAMBLE OVER but I just needed to let that out how much I LOVE the writers decision to kill her off. I miss her. But it was the right decision. I cannot imagine another ending being nearly as impactful

Julieta pulled mirabel into a hug before anything else could happen. Mirabel hugged her back, she actualy had some strength! Julieta didn't let the tears fall but it was obvious to everyone who saw her. Mirabel hid her face in her mother neck like when she was little. The family hugged her. Dolores and isabella looked to eachother. Fear flashed in their eyes. They went upstairs" she isn't meant together better yet, if she is then I have to get married" isabella exclaimed pulling her hair. They had their backs to the door. "And then he's not gonna be able to see me, maybs we poison her again?" dolores whispered....thunder boomed and they turned around in an instant. Pepa stood there and she looked angry. "Isabella rojas madrigal, dolores valentina madrigal, get downstairs. Now" she said the last word with sheer anger making the girls scurry downstairs. "Pepa what's wrong?" Alma asked her middle child as she was clenching her fists and the cloud was nearly pitch black, mirabel was sleeping upstairs by this point. "Tell them what you girls did" pepa snarled. The girls froze. "Or ill tell them what I heard" pepa added. Dolores tensed. "Dolores tell u-" camilo was cut off. "Me and isabella didn't want isabella to marry mariano since she doesn't love him I do so when mirabel was asleep we put a type of plant on her food and it makes the person who ate it sick, we thought it meant just sleeping alot and being sick, sick but then it got realy bad so we thought it was good at the time them we realised she might die and we felt realy bad" dolores sajd quickly. They shrunk under the families glare. They watched as luisa gripped julieta's shoulder just as she was about to hurt them. "Mamá, we can't hurt them" luisa glared at the two "we won't go to their level" shee said, anger encased their tones. "Y...you poisoned my daughtsr" agustín asked and luisa gripped his shoulder aswell. "I won't hit them" he said and luisa let go. Alma walked to them. She withdrew her hand from her pocket and before anyone could blink isabella had been slapped. Hard. She had tears in her eyes"your her hermana, your meant to be there for her and to look out for her. And you poisoned her?"she asked and dolores knew she was gonna be hit next. She went to run but casita didn't let her. "And you" alma hit dolores. "I'm disappointed, your both adults. If you didn't want to marry mariano or did... you should've spoke, Mirabel is fifteen, she's nearly half your age. You knew she was already sick when she was born and you made her experience it again?" She asked, "your not deserving of her love" the two dipped their heads to be hit by a book each. They looked to see mirabel by the top of the stairs. She was holding the railing with one hand and glaring at the two, sadness and anger was what they saw." You...you poisoned me?" She asked them "w we didn't think you'd find out!"they exclaimed as she went down the stairs "YOU WERE GONNA HIDE THE FACT YOU NEARLY KILLED ME!?" She yelled making her cousin cover her ears "WHY DIDNT YOU JUST SAY THAT YOU DIDNT WANT TK MARRY HIM AND YOU DID INSTEAD OF NEARLY KILLING ME!"She yelled "mira" isabella reached her hand but mirabel stepped back "I've been on that bed for weeks, and you were glad?" She was shaking with anger. "I...." she looked to them " I'm scared of you, I'm afriad to be looking at you now, I'm afraid your gonna hurt me again, but I'm still doing it" she said "I'm feeling horrible, because of you,I felt like dying was easier because of you.but thwy" she looked to the rest of the family "is the reason I kept fighting, they are the reason I woke up, because I knew they'd be hurt if they came in to see my desd body laying on the bed because you two killed me" she said, tears in her eyes. She looked at the two as If they were the only ones there "I hate you both"

Alma was Fr like you might not get them but I will 💀💀 as she should though. We gotta start drawing the line somewhere, positioning someone over something you couldn’t talked about? Yeah no, that’s. Outta pocket. And by yo own blood??? That’s cold fool 😭😭 me personally, I think the Madrigals are being. Mighty generous because my anger issues would never let that kinda thing slide. Never. HELLO HII ABOUT KICHOUUU THE ULT DETECTIVE ummm, in the first trial she tries to act more “confident” and “professional”?? about presenting info and everyone is like bro its ok just give out the info and solve this, she doesnt rlly like to do murder cases but she sees her mother usually do them so she just copies her afraid to say no to that cuz of the whole, detective thing

she wasnt very close to her cousin, mirai naegi (ult interviewer), in the beginning they kinda stuck together as mirai asked everyone questions, when mirai turned out to be the first murder (trying to get different answers out of everyone, and whatever else idk i havent planned this out) kichou was like. um that sucks sorry

at the end of the game after she saw everyone die she kinda blames herself for the whole thing, if she didnt do this and that maybe this person could have lived or something, SHES A HAPPY SMILER IN GENERAL BUT COMMING CLOSER TO THE END SHE REALISES SHES KINDA FUCKED.. yeah

the thing i mostly associate with her is a monarch butterfly (lunar moth sometimes aswell but thats unrelated), as butterflies represent new beginnings and a monarch specifically is hope i think? but also the whole butterfly effect is in place

molly is a green iguana which means shes probably wild caught (messed up) and also was tiny when ryan got her. like this. look.

iguanas are also really hard to keep and live pretty long (over a decade if you take care of it well!) so it means that ryan somehow acquired an iguana and has kept it alive all by himself.

since molly crawls all over him she clearly isnt afraid of him, and considering that ryan hasnt contracted a million diseases she also hasnt tried to bite the shit out of him (their mouths are nasty)

anyway my lore is that ryan didnt even get an iguana for himself it was just from his parents or someone getting him an iguana like one would buy a goldfish from a pet store as a temporary funny gift like oh they die pretty quickly anyhow, and he was an older teen at the time.

nobody cared about the iguana too much and ryans the one who got concerned that it was fucking dying (a deep metaphor for him advancing his career and being in the industry from a young age rotting his brain and thats why hes like That now). he read up on iguanas online when he didnt have anything else to do and shouldve been sleeping.

then, enlightened by knowledge acquired by browsing the net, ryan age 17 or something walked into the pet store and picked out all kinds of expensive animal care things and the cashier laughed uncomfortably like great. need to tell a weird teen his total is about two thousand dollars. but ryan just handed over that much in cash (his latest birthday money. its normal isnt it) and went home with his haul.

he sat on the floor trying to figure out how to do anything with them and put together some essential things like hook up temperature & humidity sensors etc. then he kept doing it better and better bc molly obviously kept growing in size and demanding more care. which is why he deserves this

he bought that thing for himself and wore it, and told everyone its a gift from molly:) and someone like kotetsu thought he has an actual step-child which would be so messed up but no... it was just his iguana he talks about as if she was a person who can buy him gifts. but he wasnt full of shit this time since to keep an iguana alive and well he mustve done some things right

also, caring for molly is the only reason ryan knows how to efficiently cut up vegetables, which is his only cooking-related skill (he has never cooked in his life. why else would he walk to a restaurant and order an entire menu and only eat raw eggs for breakfast.)

"yeah and shes got new recruits too. see nolans not the only one you gotta worry about now" "you mean like gabe" "no i mean like everyone. nolan didnt just want you to shift in front of everyone to show them that youre a werewolf, he wanted to show everything that you're the enemy." and jt kinda dawns on liam : "......that we should be hunted." and the next episode opens up with more THEO. they have to open with theo everyone loves him (me its me i love him) and him and two other werewolves are tied up to this fence with zipties and are being electrocuted. electricity is a common torture method for werewolves in teen wolf btw. and the ppl beside theo are like "im not gonna tell you anything." and the hunter is like "i dont reallt have any questions" and electrocutes him and then goes to the other werewolf and says "i dont have any questions for you eitherrr" and electrocutes her and she says "good" and gets electrocuted. and then says "we're not afraid to die." and the hunter says "does that go for everyone here?" and theo is like "not me🙌🏼🙌🏼 no death. no pain. ill tell you anything you want to know." he said fuck all that idc . what you wanna know?😭 . he gets electrocuted anyway. then the hunter gets in his face like "i dont Have any questions." and theo's like "okay.. maybe you have some unfinished business with THESE two losers, but im not with them. i i dont know who they are or what they did or what their problem is. im not a part of it." the hunter then splashes cold water on all of them (it was clear they were splashed before cuz they were soaked before that.) and theo says "that wasnt friendly." and then the hunter starts teasing them with the button on the electric fence and the girl says "JUST DO IT" and now i will take the time to tell you that beacon hills has a mental health hospital called eichen house . its basically an old school batman arkham asylum, it houses a lot of supernatural in there, lydia was in there at one point. anyway the hunter thats doing all this used to work there and he killed some inpatients and abused them. when he was a nurse for lydia he made her listen to her dead grandmother , and also was. kinda getting off on sticking her with a needle, hes fucking creepying. anyway theo will mention that. and also he zaps them all on the electric fence.

i was talking to my grandma and she mentioned the bag on the bookcase in the room shes staying in, and reached for it kinda playfully like obviously not seriously and she said "its artemis" and i jolted my hand back so fast i nearly fell backwards into the door

my brain like.. seized up for a moment

any hopes i had that maybe just maybe she was still alive is obviously crushed to bits now

i hate when she talks about that stuff like im supposed to feel okay with it. i know shes old and shes lost A LOT of pets so she knows how to cope with it, but ive only really lost like.. 4 total

the problem is that those are the only losses i feel? when my family members die i dont feel sad and i dont really mourn, just kinda.. dissociated for a bit and i make sure to be easy on my family when theyre mourning yknow, but i guess thats cuz i think animals dont deserve it, cuz they dont

to me theyre the purest life, because they dont have a mind to hurt people (minus like. dolphins 💀) it tears me up inside because out of anyone, it shouldnt be them

but everything dies. im STILL coming to terms with that

i would have dreams about my grandma dying when i was younger in like. INCREDIBLY violent ways and i woke up next to her and asked her if she was gonna die, and she told me not anytime soon

i was like... 7? maybe? when that happened, 13 years later and im still coming to terms with it. i remember i was on my other grandmas bed in tears when i was 9 because i realized everyone was gonna die and it felt so unfair

it still feels unfair

ive spent my entire life terrified of when i might go, and it keeps me from living at this point. wont ever get on a plane cuz if i do, thats the one thatll decide to crash. never go on a boat because a storm will kill us and ill die in the worst place possible. wont meet new people cuz they probably will kill me, wont eat something if i dont know what it is cuz itll probably kill me, etc etc

theres no.. like theres no point saying "wow i wish death didnt happen" because everyone wishes that. this isnt a unique fear, but man it feels like no one around me is as scared about it as i am. i have to look up like "how to stop being afraid of death" online and its so. it feels as embarrassing as looking up how to talk to people but i need both of those

it didnt really help, though. still terrified, still waiting. yknow how it is
