Love her or hate her, Ariana Grande has had an interesting year.

Cancer is her sign of the year, but the Moon can’t be a timelord, so perhaps Venus fits better as a timelord considering her Moon is in the domicile of Venus.

My speculation of Venus being her timelord is because Venus was already in its shadow period in June 2023, but began to slow down to station retrograde in Leo as she was spotted without her wedding ring, reports that she and Dalton broke up and all that jazz. TMZ reports on 7.20.23 that she began a relationship with Ethan. All the drama, her natal Venus joying in the 5th is so loud. And because it’s her 7th House profection, her open enemies were out for blood.

Venus officially stationed retrograde in Leo on July 22nd, 2023, but it’s Ethan, a rumored love affair, who officially files for divorce on 7.26.23. Venus rules her 5th House and in turn, the 5th House rules love affairs, so when her timelord retrogrades in the 8th House, it’s Ethan filing for divorce. And all of this is highly public since Venus is also the lord of her 10th House and you know TMZ does…

If it’s even more damning that Venus is her timelord, she releases her seventh album eternal sunshine on 3.8.2023 while Venus is in Aquarius, transiting her second house of generating income. i am a new astrologer, so i will only be focusing on the big 6. i am still learning about houses and sextiles and all that, so i won't be including too much of it.

this makes ariana a first decan cancer: the most cancer of cancers. i like to say the sun sign is the sign of ego and how we view ourselves. ariana is someone who has a tough shell to crack, but once you're in her squad she will take care of you like a mother does her child. cancers are like crabs: sharp and pointy claws, but very nurturing and caring to her children. in this case, children = loved ones. cancers can exhibit mean girl energy in that way. they have a clique of close friends that they give everything to, but if they don't know u they can be quite cold/closed off. with this placement, ariana is emotionally in tune with those around her. she knows what you need if you're feeling down. sun in cancer people can also be quite moody, temperamental, sensitive, and romantic. like i said earlier, quite caring and loving. cancers are not as psychic as other water signs, but they are very compassionate and sensitive, and always want to give and help their loved ones (at least the developed cancers). cancers can also be quite vindictive, and they can have a bit of victim complex as well. think self pity parties. that is one of their shadow traits. they can wallow in their own victimhood and sadness every now and then. this can make them emotionally manipulative, moody, and hard to deal with on their off days.
