Poveglia island, Italy.
An island in the Venetian Lagoon, Poveglia attracts ghostly folklore due to its dark history. It served as a quarantine hospital for victims of plague in the C18th, & was converted into an asylum in the C20th.

the truth is just that americans aren’t very good at making horror movies. ok well that’s not entirely true but almost every foreign horror movie i’ve seen has been far scarier and more interesting than the average american flick

The haunted Poveglia Island has always been a place for the unwanted. It has been a place for plague victims, a psychiatric hospital and burial ground. Today it’s known for being one of the most haunted places in the world.  Right off the city of Venice, there are small islands across the lagoon that are still connected to the city. One of them is Poveglia Island. It’s a small island between…

Sunak Warns Illegal Immigrants Will Overwhelm UK If Government Fails To Act
Illegal migrants will overwhelm Britain without global reforms, Prime Minister Rishi Sunak has warned. 25 years after the vast majority of We The Punters, a leading politician other than Nigel Farage has woken up to the fact that malign states and non-state organisations are using ‘refugees and asylum seekers’ as a weapon by ‘driving people to our shores to try and destabilise our societies.’…

Albanian court suspends Italy’s migrant deal
Albania’s Constitutional Court announced suspending the ratification of a migrant agreement with Italy, scheduled for Thursday, after the opposition filed a lawsuit claiming the deal violates the constitution and international conventions, according to Euractiv.
The Albanian Democratic Party and 28 other deputies filed two appeals alleging that the Rome Agreement between Meloni and Rama violated national and constitutional law, as well as a number of international agreements and treaties.
The appeals claim that the nature and terms of the agreement exceed the scope of a mere protocol between the two governments, as Albania has relinquished its sovereignty over the territory designated for detention centres. The President of the Albanian Court, Holta Zaçaj, stated:
The panel of judges that met today considered that the appeals submitted met the required criteria and decided to examine them in the plenary session. This automatically means that the parliamentary procedures for ratifying the agreement are suspended.

Hey... so... That happened....
Lot of uninteresting talk in the Video, but the most important points.
US blowed up Nordstream Pipeline.
US Media covered ONLY news about some "UFO", which the "US FORCES" apparently "Shot down".
(Before I get into it, let me just say that I am not Muslim. I am not Ukrainian. I am just an Indian living in Europe)
The US Media channels are completely owned by the Government, Left or Right. Their use/function is only to push forward the Agenda of the side they represent (Left or Right).
Due to US Involvement in Middle East and its wars in Syria and Iraq, there was a Mass-Immigration of Arab people into Europe. Germany, France, Italy, Spain and Greece suffered the most, but took in these Refugees and gave them Chances to live peaceful lives.
How many Refugees did the USA welcome?
I assure you that none of the other Middle-Eastern Countries welcomed Refugees from Syria and Iraq, due to fear of Collapse of their Developing Societies, which could occur due to the Backwardness of the people from these affected countries, I read. They only used to collect Clothes for the Refugees and donate them.
This "Cold"-war between US and Russia has been torturing Europe since the end of WW-II. Germany too suffered a lot. Not all Germans are Nazis. They WERE of minimum amount, but did monstrous things. Nothing Nazi happening in Germany now.
Hitler probably wanted one Currency and one language around the world. But is that different about US?
(Almost) Everything around the World is sold in US Dollars. English is spoken almost all over the World. How is USA different from the Nazi Group of Hitler? Many Americans "jokingly" tell Britishers 'If it weren't for us, then you all would be speaking German.' Who exactly is Nazi here?
For a long time, US Dollar was costlier (or had more value) than Euro. It was almost twice as valuable as Euro (1 US Dollar = 1.79 Euro) last year (maybe it was more). The ONLY Country (of the NATO Group), that profited from the War between Ukraine and Russia (or from the Russian Occupation of Ukraine), is USA.
THE ONLY COUNTRY!
But yeah... USA is the land of the Brave and the home of the Free.. (or the other way around. WHO FUCKING CARES???!!)
Right?
Due to the Inflation that has been happening all over Europe, due to the Russian Monstrosity in Ukraine, many things have become extremely costly.
Preservable Milk, which was 85 Cents per Liter (or 0.85 Euro/L) became 1.79 Euro per Liter.
Vegetable costs soaring high... Everything now costs almost double as it did in 2021.
I understand that USA and Russia have Problems of Understanding and Accepting one another. But does Europe have to suffer continuously due to their childish Tantrums? Can they not solve their Issues in a neutral place?
Ukraine is almost completely destroyed.
Russia is almost completely banned everywhere and by almost everybody.
USA and its Citizens are living their lives as normal. Yes, many Americans are hardworking and many live in Poverty. Is the American Government doing anything for them? Now, that would be a Joke. Americans don't even have proper health Insurance, according to what I read here on Tumblr, but everyone jumps into any Conversation and defends the "Great" America.
Homelessness is rampant.
Homeless people are not allowed (by the US Police) to live somewhere on the Streets or in some other open Place. Yet people always want to defend the US.
How many Protests happened in the USA, to stop USA from doing Wars in Iraq?
How many "peaceful" and "innocent" Americans protested against US Involvement in Syria?
How many Americans voiced against US Involvement in Afghanistan and against US funding the Taliban?
Yet, America is a great Country and innocent people live and work in America. Nothing bad is to be said about America.
Why?
Who gave US the Authority to blow up such Pipelines?
Who gave US any Authority to take life-altering Decisions FOR others also?
Is US the World's Bully? Imposing strict Rules and other Bullshit on everyone, while it is basically being monstrous...? Is that not Bully-Behaviour?
Will the USA ever learn Limits? And what Limits it should not cross?
Will the USA ever learn to MIND ITS OWN F*CKING BUSINESS?
I am afraid, that if this continues, then horrible things will happen soon. Hiroshima- and Nagasaki-horrible...
But, does anyone care..?
Maybe very very few do

France, Italy Now Fighting Over Migrants Fates, EU Concerned
France, Italy Now Fighting Over Migrants Fates, EU Concerned
A maritime rescue ship docked Friday in a southern French port carrying 230 migrants whose fates have sparked a diplomatic row between France and Italy — a dispute that’s threatening EU efforts to share around asylum-seekers. The French welcome for the Ocean Viking, though reluctant, unleashed fury from far-right rivals of the French government. Migrant advocates expressed relief, but lamented…

Not crazy about people writing off the Titan submersible incident as some schadenfreudic buzzstory they can rag on for a handful of internet funny points. I get the frustration, I really do. At least three of the passengers had to shell out $250,000 a ticket for a glorified deep sea Disney ride. The CEO of OceanGate is a capitalist wackjob who has been complaining about and bypassing safety regulations for years, despite multiple warnings, and now the retrieval is taking up time and resources from multiple countries that could have been put to better use. But one of the crew members on board was also the nineteen year old son of another passenger. I doubt his involvement extended much beyond “I’m going on a fun trip with my dad.” Another was an unaffiliated researcher who joined the expedition to collect environmental samples for DNA analysis. Not everyone on board was a high-rolling corporate yuppie. (And even if they were, it’s still a pretty objectively horrific way to die.) Instead of memes, I’d rather see this prompt a discussion on the ethics and potential regulation of scientific tourism.
The above also doesn’t change the fact that this is dragging media attention away from more pressing issues, such as the sinking of the Andriana. I guess “THE TITANIC CLAIMS ANOTHER FIVE VICTIMS” is a more colorful headline than “the EU’s xenophobic migration policies have led to the deaths of hundreds of migrants seeking asylum in Italy, and an active cover up is now taking place, headed by Greek authorities.” Seeing all this energy be funneled towards dragging this tiny capsule out of the Atlantic when up to five hundred refugees - mostly women and children - were locked in the hull of a ship and left to suffer the exact same fate, while Coast Guard vessels looked on and did nothing (or even had an active role in the capsize after a botched attempt to tow it, according to some testimonies), illustrates the sway money and race have in what we pay attention to. It’s a gruesome example of inequity in action.
I had compared what happened to the Titan to the Kursk incident, but the Andriana doesn’t have the luxury of being a freak accident. Over 25,000 migrants have disappeared or drowned trying to cross the Mediterranean since 2014, with over 2,000 deaths taking place in 2022 alone. Those are staggering numbers. Protests have broken out across Greece over the past week in the wake of the tragedy, advocating for migration reform.
While these sorts of mass casualty events tend to leave us feeling disheartened and helpless, there are ways to help. Below is a link to SOS Humanity’s donation page. Reputable search and rescue organizations such as SOS Humanity or SOS Mediterranée built their mission statements around helping migrants like the ones on board the Andriana. Donate if you can, spread the word if you can’t.
