I want Robin and Troy to be Best Friends

With Teen Justice about to come out in a few days, there are some things I want to see in that comic.

ONE OF WHICH is Talia Kane (Robin) and Donald Troy (Troy) being relatable to each other. Talia and Laurel (Supergirl) are best friends since, I assume, they’ve been together even before Teen Justice, yes, BUT, think about it...

From the info cards DC gave us, Donny looks like he isn’t willing to put up with the shit he knows he’s about to get into. Like, you cannot tell me he doesn’t look like he’s the big brother that has to take responsibility for his siblings’ actions and he's just done with it. He looks serious and I have no doubt he’ll have a loving and caring side to him and will knock the shit out of you if you give off the wrong vibe.

And if Talia is ANYTHING like Damian, I want the writers to make her sassy as hell. Like, Dorothy Zbornak kind of sassy and sarcastic. I want her to be social and open to her team. Every time someone says/does something stupid, I want her to be sarcastic. But I also want her to be helpful and approachable to others in certain situations.

Now imagine Donny and Talia just being relatable to each other. I imagine that both of them had intense training growing up and act like soldiers most of the time or have like military habits like having a straight posture, getting straight to the point, etc. They’d be looking at the mess and chaos the team made while committing shenanigans in their headquarters and just facepalm or mentally judge their team mates.

I also want Laurel and Jess (Kid Quick) to be close friends. If Laurel is anything like Jon, I also want Laurel to act like a (lost) puppy. I want her to follow the members around with wide eyes and just see if they need any help. Besides Talia, she does it most to Jess.

Few more things about Laurel, did anyone else notice that she wears ripped leggings just like how Jon used to wear ripped jeans jbddjhbasilhliwegfiu. I’m weak. Also, if I'm right, Laurel is the youngest out of all of them.

Another thing I want to talk about is who the leader is. One Earth-11 headcanon I think about often right now is that Talia accepts the fact that she’s not the leader of Teen Justice. By the looks of these covers:

Jess Chambers is the one who’s leading the team.

Does Talia want to be the leader of Teen Justice? Yes. Does she think Jess doesn’t deserve their spot as leader? No, absolutely not.

Talia wants to be the leader of the team very much and thinks that she deserves it the most out of everyone in the team (considering she is like Damian), but she accepts the fact that she isn’t and lets Jess lead, thinking they’d lead the team as well as she would and that they’d let her help them lead.

Last but not least, Raven...

I don’t care that Teen Justice only has 6 issues, I want Raven and Donny to go on a date and get together, I want Raven to pine for him and stare at Donny longingly and not even notice it, I want the team to just set the two of them up on a date and succeed, I want the team spying on them just to make sure everything is going according to Operation: WonderRae.

my morning run was super atmospheric, all foggy and chilly surrounded by woods, and it got me thinking about typical zombie horror stuff, so consider it a continuation(?) of these posts?

i imagine the plot starts similar to the twd series because i realized they both have a good coma-induced starting point. basically anteros gets shot, goes comatose for a few weeks, and wakes up to the world in shambles etc etc. i think lin and donnie (lin was still undercover at the time) are the first familiar faces he finds. just imagine the time period is like. a vague mix of sr1 and sr2. i have a few more ideas but i might save them for later lol

Maybe the distrust in First Contact would completely nullify things, "prevent" Star Trek? Or maybe a completely different Federation (or UFP), or one with different views?

Or maybe it'd just be a direct cause or make things so much more dangerous? Humans trying to engineer themselves to an even larger extent to best the Yokai in some twisted hate. Stricter Federation?

Could we see whatever organization forms put Draxum on trial for all those crazy forcing mutation shenanigans? (That is if Draxum lives that long I forgot LOL)

We could end up with a timeline a lot like the alternate timeline we see in season 2 of Star Trek: Picard (*cough* diet mirror-verse *cough*) where Earth decided to be conquerors rather than explorers. But admittedly, I'm a little opposed to that route, what can I say, I like Star Trek's inherent optimism.

There's a lot of steps leading up to first contact in Trek lore (and man do I need to watch the First Contact movie again, I'm just being reminded of how good it is) so let's explore this hypothetical for a bit.

I don't think it would be too far fetched to think that someone like Bishop would probably have a direct role in the creation of the Augments and sowing mistrust in yokai, mutants and aliens. I think he'd see it as a fighting fire with fire situation, if he got ahold of and poached Draxum's work (while also condemning him for it like the hypocritical bastard he is) to "level the playing field" between humans and mutants/yokai. He would probably insist on the name "augments" just to differentiate between them and the mutants. And thus he's directly responsible for the creation of Khan. Now Trek has been kinda wishy-washy lately about the timeline and now places the Eugenics wars & WWIII in the 21st century so I'm gonna go with that too. Which unfortunately for the boys means they'll be around to see the rise of the tyrants and watch society unravel, it's a very different kind of apocalypse than the one they prevented. This one is slow and creeping and driven by malice and greed long before it comes to overwhelming martial force. Logically though I think the boys (and maybe some old mutant enemies turned friends, and a good amount of Yokai) would side against Khan and Bishop in defense of humanity, so there'd be another resistance in this timeline as well. According to memory alpha, in the new timeline the wars last about 34 years, so there is at least some chance that the boys live all the way through the wars and come out on the other side into a world that after nearly tearing itself apart is taking its first tentative and terrified steps into world peace. Which has some interesting implications towards what will eventually become the Federation's ban on genetic engineering because, yes the belligerents in the war you just fought were genetically engineered humans but also they were defeated and the world lead into peace by genetically engineered mutants so.... what now? But that's getting a little ahead of myself. For now we're still 7 years out from Zephram Cochrane's first warp flight and First Contact. Earth has been so wrapped up in its own problems who's even thinking of space anymore? Well...

The boys would all be middle aged men at this point, and what they all do post war is a bit uncertain (mostly because I'm just supremely spitballing here) but I can't imagine Donnie not being apart of the Phoenix project along with Cochrane. And also given his everything I don't think the Borg sphere and the Enterprise in orbit would escape his notice even a little bit.

The Borg are an unpleasant surprise to say the least, especially given their similarity to the Kraang. Now of course during it all you have Picard and the rest of the Enterprise crew trying to keep a second impending invasion on the DL -and as I'm typing this I've realized that I've fucked up this causality loop a little bit but I'm gonna blame that on Trek being Like This and time travel bullshit being confusing- because now in this scenario we have the Kraang invasion as being an almost direct cause of the eugenics wars, and the Enterprise crew would definitely know that and they have just come back from a timeline where Earth is assimilated and they're trying to set things to rights, soooooo... okay okay we have Donatello, an old veteran with old wounds opening up again, Zephram, who's completely lost his way and doesn't even know why he's doing this anymore, and you have Geordi, Riker, and Troi coming from the future to say, "stay the course, it's worth it." And they're both terribly skeptical and on the verge of losing hope but damn, it can't all have been for nothing, right? And when that Vulcan ship comes down, and Zephram and Solkar shake hands and yeah, maybe things will be alright after all.

I kinda doubt that any of the boys would live long enough to actually see the founding of the federation (unless they have multicentury lifespans) but they would definitely go down in federation history as playing a role in the very beginnings of what would eventually become starfleet and the golden age of space exploration.

At least that's my take if Rise and Star Trek were on the same timeline, and I definitely could go way more into detail on it if I really wanted to, like I said I'm kinda flying by the seat of my pants for this one. For now though when it comes to Set a Course for Home I'll keep the two universes separate, if only for my own sanity lol. And above I have Donnie working alongside Cochrane and truthfully, I think my ideal ending for him (way way after the events of Set a Course for Home, in another hypothetical future) would be that he becomes the Zephram Cochrane figure if his own dimension and discovers faster than light travel. Listen Janeway can try as she might for the sake of the Prime Directive but he's gonna be spending a lot of time on that ship it's gonna be a little hard for him not to at least figure out some of the basics of warp field mechanics, he'll just have to figure out how to create it with the materials he'll have in his dimension's 21st century. He's a scientist through and through and I like the idea of him leading the way to the stars.

Troy

It had always been just you and your dad since you could remember, he was a police officer and as you heard many of his colleagues say 'a damn good one'

You always looked up to him wanting to walk in his very footsteps, but..

Troy wasn't so keen on that idea, the cop had seen how evil Stillwater could be. He'd watch many of his own men die and even criminals he had gotten attached to.

He put his foot down a lot on you being a cop but you always persisted, he couldn't get mad at you wanting to be like him though.

You were his little girl always right at his hip and making a fuss when you couldn't be there.

He'd always read you to bed and ruffle your hair, he enjoyed taking you to school before he had to go back to the Saints.

He framed your drawings, let you do makeup on him and he cried once he finally saw you grew up

Once he sat in a crowd watching as you graduated police academy, even though you wore the uniform you always still looked like the little girl with messy pigtails and skinned knees to him.

He'll always be proud of you

Shogo

You were conceived from one of his ex's, the only reason at the time he kept you was because of his father.

'Take some responsibility!' His father would yell while he bounced you, at that moment he thought he'd hate this and hate you eventually

But one day he saw you take your first steps towards him and he was so..proud.

Ever since then you were a spoiled princess, anything you wanted you got!

He has his own parental issues and tries his hardest to not be like his own father but sometimes it happens

Even then though you still love him and still looked up to him with those big [e/c] eyes of yours

He'd always be doing 'work' while you sat in the same room either playing with blocks or your other various toys

He couldn't ever go anywhere without you, not cause he couldn't stand it but because you'd attach yourself to his leg and beg to come with

You never did find out where he went

Maero

You were such a small thing compared to him, this tough ass dude was scared to hold you for the first time.

He had you with a ex he's still friends with, the two of them sharing custody. But you always seemed to like him more

Your first word was 'dada', your first steps were at his place and you always bugged him whenever you could

He was extremely protective of you, if someone even made you cry that person would never be seen again (unless you count the news)

He wasn't the best dad though, he did a lot of messed up shit and he didn't even try to hide it from you.

Always stating it was some 'family business' type thing, that one day you'd be just like him

Also y'know that meme with Peter holding a shot gun going 'i'm just gonna talk to him' yeah that's him if you ever even get a crush on another person

Yeah he's one of those dads def sorry LOL

He's almost always carrying you around too and if anyone looks at him funny he sends a nasty glare

He cares a lot about you, you were the last thought in his head after he died

Johnny

Johnny is honestly probably the second best dad in the list (not including extra), he did his research before you came in the world

Obviously you're his and Aishas lil girl, and Aisha almost had to get up and fight him to finally hold you. He just didn't wanna let you go

It was sad that he got locked up soon after your third birthday, but he always wrote you letters and coloring pages he colored sometimes drawings

Once he got out you were the first person he hugged, you were playing in the yard when he pulled up

He calls you various nicknames Tater tot, Baby doll, trouble maker, thing one, and cheeseball

He takes you with him (much to Aisha's disapproval), don't worry though he only takes you on safe jobs

You'll be in your car seat as the boss jumps in 'hey johnny the fu-' instant head smack 'hey there's a damn kid in the back seat'

He's got the spirit at least

You follow him around everywhere even once you get older and your dad is famous

And of course Johnny would burn the world to protect you especially after what happened to Aisha

Extra

Carlos

Of course once Carlos joined the Saints you also technically joined

He'd call you 'lil Duck' because you'd always be following him around like one

He'd mess your hair up or put his beenie on you, and laugh as the beenie was too big and would fall over your eyes

He was a great dad, he tried his best to shield you away from all the bad stuff but he was a single father and there was little he could do

He'd be one of those dads that would let you sleep in his bed if you had a nightmare

And he'd always hold your hand whenever y'all were in public

Of course you looked up to your dad while having little knowledge in what he actually did

You still wear his beenie even as an adult

Donnie

Donnie was a scared for life dad, instant panic as soon as you were placed in his arms

He thought he'd be an awful dad and that you'd hate him but the complete opposite happened

Sure he made a few mistakes here and there but you never hated him, you always followed him around and stayed in his shop when you weren't at school

Hell you even tried to go against the damn boss of the saints themselves after they busted into his mechanic shop and started wailing on the poor guy

To which Donnie immediately spilled everything fearing they'd hurt you (they wouldn't)

You'd always beg him to play princess with you or to do his makeup

He isn't that terrifying or strong as Johnny or Maero but he'd do everything in his power to protect you

You're his only hope in life at the moment < 3

Okay but Possessive Genderbent Raven

Yeah, Genderbend DC is gonna be a very exemplified hyper fixation for a while.

I am very much hoping for fanfics of Raven and Donny. SOMEONE GIVE ME FANFICS!

One scenario I keep on seeing in my head is that they're undercover and in a club. Now, they went in twos (and three) to make sure everyone's okay. And Donny and Raven are on the bar and someone tries to make a move on Raven. Donny calls them and threateningly politely tells them that Raven's already taken.

After the person leaves, Raven tells Donny that he didn't have to be so harsh and that he could've told them in a nicer way. But then, someone tries to make a move on Donny and he goes, "He's taken, bitch. Move along"

In your weary and wild au has there been any attempts at saving Leo?

there were three!!

attempt number one resulted in Lee, which confused everyone (Lee feels immensenly guilty about that and Donnie hates him for it. Raph made ammends after a few days and Mikey speed ran Lee's apology at any % the second they got back to the lair so he could ask questions about his badass mystic warrior self)

attempt numero dos didn't result in anything. Mikey at that point had been studying the mystic arts for three months and tried opening a portal on his own. it, obviously, didn't work

attempt number trois was the successful one, although neither Raph, Mikey or Donnie knew that. Mikey had the idea of using empyrean as an amplifier since that's what Draxum used to mutate them, and since no one else had any more ideas to work off, that's what they went for

Four popped out of the other side, confused, scared and ready to fucking freak because what the fuck?? he got a small glimpse of the portal he came out of and the three small figures in front of it, but ran off before they could notice him
