Social transition being seen (by some) as this super easy thing that isn't as hard as real transitioning (medical) is bullshit. Be critical of the idea that there are some trans people who just "have it easy" because they are trans or because they are trans in ways you may not be.
Social transition is just as difficult, hard, and rewarding as medical transition. Maybe it is not as hard for some, sure, but that is not the same as thinking that social transition is inherently easier or lesser. If you're socially transitioning, your voice still matters.
#trans#transgender#lgbt#lgbtq#ftm#mtf#nonbinary#not to mention that so many people DO want to medically transition but *can't*#so it can be even harder for some when they feel social transition is their only option when they don't want it to be#but social transition carries its own risks and challenges and again rewards#and i've seen this idea plenty where it's like 'oh you don't GET my struggles because you're SOCIALLY transitioning'#and while yes i am different than some trans people to say i'm struggling *more* if i'm the only one medically transitioning is??? huh????#i don't buy into this idea that social transition is never scary because you don't have the boot of the medical system on your back#(though non-med or pre-med transitioning people still face issues in medical settings so even THEN we aren't seperate)#like there's very few ways you can separate my issues as a medically-transitioning person and the issues of somebody who isn't...#...and by that i mean there's few ways you can separate our issues so that mine trumps theirs or that i'm seen as like... trans but More#does that make sense?#medical transitioning is important but that doesn't mean it is *more* important or that only *it* is important#you can support us who are medically transitioning without erasing the experiences and struggles of other trans people#and plus... so many of us who are medically transitioning NOW are the people who socially transitioned THEN#and dare i say i despised social transition more because of how hard it was? medical transition has been (more or less) easier...#...in that i can just *be* now

love that henry blake is genuinely just a normal guy . weirdest thing about him is that he’s obsessed with fishing and that isn’t even remotely as bizarre as anything hawkeye and trapper got going on at any given moment . he’s just some guy from illinois in a camp of people who are bonkers and he’s so fucking funny for it

Not a bother at all! I've been meaning to do a fish critter for a while now, and salmon are one of my favourite fish to draw, so this was quite a serendipitous request. Here are some lil' salmon critters for you! I hope you like them! :D

Funny, how when I last left this hellsite, Sherlock was still very much en vogue.
Now it is very dead.
It appears the new hot shit are pining celestials and gay pirates.
Now, my children, two men who stare at each other yearningly and would die for each other; two men everyone assumes are dating, CAN ACTUALLY KISS.
I am old, I am tired, but I have lived to witness this development. I am at peace.

Reasoning for each answer:
Why Trans: Throughout the movie, it is seen by other characters that Nimona's 'normal form' is being a girl, which Nimona refuses.
Why Non-binary: In the book, Nimona's gender is left ambiguous, which can be interpreted as being non-binary.
Why Gender Fluid: In the movie there is a line that goes, ''And...now you're a boy.'' which they responded with, ''I am today...'' This could suggest that Nimona can choose to be a different gender on another day. (this is kinda a all of above answer)

Quick trans tip for those experiencing breast growth:
If you're interested in wearing a bra, please make sure to size correctly. Absolutely, bras can sometimes feel uncomfortable after wearing them for an extended amount of time, but if it actively hurts, please make sure it's the right size. You shouldn't feel like you can't breathe, or your circulation is restricted, or like the band/wires are digging into your skin. Bra sizing can make such a difference, and there're so many wild misconceptions about how bras work that it can be very confusing at times (even for cis people!). Breasts will develop for years, so please regularly check your size if you plan on wearing bras. There are some pretty accurate online calculators and forums, and when you start understanding how measurements translate into sizes, it makes a lot more sense.
If anybody has anything to add, please do! I'm not directly experienced in this, but I want all trans people to be educated and empowered in what makes them comfortable💛

I love them both so much.
Tumblr media
And even more. This baby boy is just so realistic and so done but also just out here to have fun with his bestie.
Tumblr media
This is a safe assessment of both of them. Oh, Sand, you see right through to the heart of the issue and still can't get out.

And yet there has been no spanking in this show and that is criminal.

Sorry not to be insane about fictional characters again but like. Nimona’s big “monster” scene. How she realizes nothing has changed. How she discovers her “allies” were willing to turn on her the moment there was a reason to do so. How her roar is an anguished scream. How something as simple as a kids commercial about slaying monsters, something nobody else even bats an eye at, causes so much pain. How what she turns into is so unlike her usual shifting. How the director was ready to destroy innocent people to get rid of her. How it didn’t matter to the director if innocent people got hurt just to get rid of this “threat”. How the director, just as capable as hurting people, isn’t the one demonized. How this moment has been quietly building up the whole movie, even though she brushes it off, even though she pretends not to care (how she seeks out a supposed murderer because he may understand her, how an arrow to the leg isn’t a big deal to her, how she plays up the “monster” stereotype but hates being called one, how her first breaking point is a little girl showing the same generational hate that Gloreth showed, how she always explained what she was as Nimona). How done with all of it she is. How she gives up. “I see you”.
How Nimona is such a fucking queer story that it makes me explode

Let’s do it again because I should have put same height option. If this have less votes than the previous poll we should take the result from the previous poll.
Very important decision because I want to have clear a headcanon:
Previous poll:
Azula little difference: 31,4 %
Azula big difference: 20,3 %
Katara little difference: 26,8 %
Katara big difference: 21,6 %
153 votes
