It's been a while, but happy birthday again to one of my favorite comic book writers and artists, especially Donald Duck and Uncle Scrooge comics. And that is certainly Don Rosa. Happy 72nd birthday Don Rosa and thank you for the best comics!

And yes, his comics are not Ducktales and that should be clearly separated.

Eurotrish, Joana and Noelle - Happy birthday! - Crossover - Gift for my friend

Admittedly, I'm already late, but certainly not to draw only ducks, I also drew a little furry characters (from cartoons and video games, not fandom) and this is also a gift for my friend, although I'm already a few days late.

I drew Eurotrish (a rabbit or squirrel from the Cartoon Network series Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends), Noelle (a doe from the video game Delta Rune), along with Joana Sandy Trish the rabbit (my friend's OC and furrysona to whom this drawing is dedicated) celebrating her birthday together. Although I didn't do very well, but I tried to put on a good event, since they are her favorite characters.. Of course, this drawing is dedicated to my friend, dear @sandytrish008 who celebrated her birthday. Happy birthday and sorry for the delay! I hope you like this drawing.

What are dead man walking tornadoes? :O

it’s a multi-vortex tornado. i dont remember the tribe it originates from (i think it was cherokee), but there’s a native american legend…? saying? that goes “if you see a man in a tornado, you are about to die.”

the most infamous shot of a dead man walking tornado hit jarrell, texas in 1997

it did so much damage to the town it caused the scale that tornados are measured by, the fijita scale, undergo revisions, and it made anchoring buildings in the tornado alley region pretty much mandatory. (it took the entire town off the map. only those who had taken shelter outside of the town or in underground bunkers survived.)

two more examples of dead man walking tornadoes looking like a person are a tornado from 2011 that hit cullman, alabama

and a tornado from 1975 that hit xenia, ohio

edit: it has been brought to my attention that the native american “legend” part of this post was a rumor spread by a documentary.

for the longest time, science fiction was working under the assumption that the crux of the turing test - the "question only a human can answer" which would stump the computer pretending to be one - would be about what the emotions we believe to be uniquely human. what is love? what does it mean to be a mother? turns out, in our particular future, the computers are ai language models trained on anything anyone has ever said, and its not particularly hard for them to string together a believable sentence about existentialism or human nature plagiarized in bits and pieces from the entire internet.

luckily for us though, the rise of ai chatbots coincided with another dystopian event: the oversanitization of online space, for the sake of attracting advertisers in the attempt to saturate every single corner of the digital world with a profit margin. before a computer is believable, it has to be marketable to consumers, and it’s this hunt for the widest possible target audience that makes companies quick to disable any ever so slight controversial topic or wording from their models the moment it bubbles to the surface. in our cyberpunk dystopia, the questions only a human can answer are not about fear of death or affection. instead, it is those that would look bad in a pr teams powerpoint.

Also, happy birthday to the best trio in my opinion, Huey, Dewey and Louie, even though it's been 10 days! I know, my mistake, maybe I'll post some pictures in the future. Although I'm glad that Huey, Dewey and Louie from Ducktales 2017 got their own tribute and most of the drawings are great dedicated to their birthday, although I'm very sad that the other versions didn't get it and were neglected. :( I wish the other versions of Donald's Nephews would get their attention like Ducktales 2017. This is how it turns out that I'm the only one drawing and dedicated to other versions of Donald's Nephews like the comic version, OG Ducktales, Area 15, Duckscares, Spookyzone, Quack Pack and other versions when it comes to their birthdays.

I'm not complaining, I'm just stating my opinion.

Oswald the Lucky Rabbit and Ortensia the Cat - Happy 95th birthdays!

Although it has passed, I certainly drew a drawing related to an important anniversary. On September 5, 1927, Ub Iwerks and Walt Disney while working for Universal made a classic short called "Trolley Troubles" and it featured Oswald the Lucky Rabbit and his girlfriend Ortensia the Cat for the first time. Oswald appears several times in the classic shorts, but poor relations between Iwerks and Disney led to Oswald not appearing again. Yes, Oswald was owned by Universal until the early 21st century until Disney bought out the character as well as Ortensia and their cartoons. Oswald reprises his role in the video game Epic Mickey. Even though I know it's not good, I definitely redraw Oswald and Ortensia from the Epic Mickey scene where they finally meet again and fall in love.

Yes, I love Oswald and I think they deserve more justice. It's a shame that Disney canceled the project around his show. I hope you like this drawing and happy 95th birthday dear Oswald plus Ortensia and over 400 children and nieces and nephews.
