Zoom In.
Muggle AU, professor of 18C literature and poetry Draco, celebrity Harry ✨️
~
Violet was the first to log in - again. In the minutes before class began - in the "waiting room" - while she stared at her blank screen, it felt like the only real few moments she truly had to herself.
She spent all those moments, like so many others, thinking about Professor Malfoy.
To every single straight girl, and the singular gay guy, in class, Professor Malfoy was prime wank material. Violet hadn't known her classmates to be as desperate for a good word on their assignments from any other professor. To think homework would feature so high on the to-do lists of some of the biggest lunkheads she knew...there was definitely something about him, that Professor Malfoy.
She could see the appeal. The eerily pale eyes, hair, and skin made to appear warmer by the fluffy jumpers - all in elegant shades of scarlet, burgundy, emerald, wine, golden yellow - he wore over crisply ironed button-downs and tailored trousers; the way he used his hands when he talked, long fingers like a pianist's; the slim golden spectacles he was constantly misplacing on his own head, the rich precision with which he pronounced the olde names and subjects that he spoke of - it was very difficult not to admire Professor Malfoy.
All of that, but nobody really knew much about him outside of uni.
They'd switched to virtual classes a week ago; hurrah for the new pandemic. The idea that she didn't have to sit in class with her tittering classmates, a stray cough sounding now and again, made Violet automatically sit up straighter and smile, just as the little boxes on her screen began popping into life.
"Aaaayyyy!"
"Tell me we don't need to have our faces on display."
"So, yes, before anyone asks: this is a real lip ring. An actual piercing. Yeah, I'm not blowing you, Greg, sod off."
"Is Professor Malfoy on?"
"No, I don't see him here yet. Did he grade your essay?"
"Yo, can someone please tell me how to turn this camera off, I am smashed out my--"
"Click on the camera icon, Bryan--"
"It's not even noon, what d'you mean "smashed"?
"No, you've turned off your mic. No, we cannot hear you screaming."
"First icon on the bottom left," Violet said, rolling her eyes.
And then Professor Malfoy was in class.
There was a beat of silence before everyone called out greetings, a chaotic round of cheerful hello's that nobody could quite make sense of. Least of all Professor Malfoy.
He was peering into his screen, his slim nose scrunched.
"All right, so I can see me. Can you?"
Cacophonic confirmations.
"Okay, so nobody can see or hear me. Right."
More shrill reassurances. One loud beer-belch.
"Damn it all to hell, I knew this would happen, I told him that I'll need--"
"We can see you!" shrieked Preiti.
"We can hear you!" Nora bellowed.
But Professor Malfoy was already twisting around in his chair, scowling heavily, and screaming, "OY! COME IN HERE, YOU MISERABLE WANKER!"
Violet, along with her classmates, just stared in mystified silence. The professor never spoke like that. He ticked them off if they did.
A tall figure in a too big hoodie appeared suddenly, hissing back at Professor Malfoy. There was a golden lion printed on the maroon jacket. The hood was drawn in close, and Violet could just barely make out the light from the computer screen glinting off a pair of round glasses, on which a shaggy fringe of dark hair fell.
"You need to turn the volume up. Git," said the stranger. "Your camera's already on."
"I hate technology," Professor Malfoy seethed.
"You hate so much else. I'm getting fish and chips." The man was already walking off.
"I want mushy peas too, with mine."
"What kind of sick bastard." The room door was shut with a thud.
"Sorry about all that. We are now officially in session," Professor Malfoy said, smiling and restoring his glasses upon his nose. "Do you all have--?"
There was a muffled shout from somewhere behind the professor. Pinching the bridge of his nose, Professor Malfoy called back, "No. No, I don't want a curry dipping sauce."
There was more muffled yelling.
"Harry, get out right now!" shrieked Professor Malfoy, and Violet, along with the others, just ogled.
Malfoy sighed. "Sorry 'bout that. Just my idiot husband."
"You're married?!" Violet had asked before she could stop herself.
Professor Malfoy sighed, flipping open a thick, spiral bound folder. "Yes. You've heard of Harry Potter, I'm sure. He's the poor idiot I married."

A Post-party Interlude (Uni AU P. 19.5)
Hello everyone! Here is an interlude to catch up with our characters after the fated Halloween party, divided by hours of the night.
TW - mentions of self-harm, mentions of grooming, mentions of drug abuse, mentions of alcohol, extensive talk about sexual trauma in the 5AM section
-1 AM, the RU Rooftop, Gale and Shadowheart-
"You want a hit Gale?"
"No, not now."
...
"I'm sorry I dragged you out there like that. You can't just say that kind of stuff about people. Especially not about me."
"That's hardly fair, considering how you've been about Mystra."
"Two entirely different situations."
"Shadow, you're hurting yourself."
"So are you."
...
"I just don't get why you can't be happy for me."
"Because, she doesn't love you. Not like your friends do, not like your mother does, not like I do. I've been your best friend for how long Gale, how long? And you don't trust me on this?"
"But you clearly don't trust me either."
"It's different! Things at the church are very-"
"Very what? Private? Painful? You've been different ever since you stepped foot in that place, and I just stayed quiet. I just never thought it would go this far."
"It's a religious reminder Gale-"
"Bullshit, it's a way for her to control you all."
"And Mystra isn't controlling you?! How you're always on the phone with her at her beck and call? You're no better than me, so don't get on your high horse as if you can judge me. School is hard, studying medicine is hard, I need something."
...
"I can't watch you hurt yourself."
"Then don't. Maybe someone else will get it, but you don't have to. Go cry to your girlfriend about it."
-2AM, Lae, Shadow, and Tav's Dorm, Lae'zel-
(This conversation has been translated from Lae'zel's native language.)
"Yes?"
"You haven't called in a while. You're supposed to call."
"Yes, I know. I've been-"
"Training, right?"
"Of course, what else would I be doing?"
"Really? Because a little birdy told me you've been slacking. You think those 'injuries' are really that serious, don't you? You think you're allowed to make the K'liir family look like this?! We're warriors! You're, a warrior!"
"Of course. I will not disappoint Grandmother. I shall be healed soon."
"Perhaps it should be 'Vlaakith' to you for now, until you can earn the right to call me kin again, if you ever earn it again."
"Yes Vlaakith, I'll call you back soon."
-3AM, Karlach's Dorm, Karlach-
"I know Coach won't stop bothering me about it, but should I really do it? It's tricky I guess, seems more like she's threatening me than anything. Purposefully injuring people in my matches isn't enough for her I suppose. Steroids though? What even are the side effects of that?
...
Aggression, stomach pains, sleep problems... is that really so bad? I have those sometimes. Everyone has a good ol' bout of insomnia from time to time... right?
...
If I don't though, and she kicks me off the team... I can't get kicked off the team, I would lose all my funding, my friends, Shadow... I'm sure it'll be fine, right?
...
Where did she even find these? Are they safe? I mean, she wouldn't want to kill her best wrestler, right? This is to enhance my performance not, uh, de-hance it. So, I guess I just go for it? Maybe one to start, it's not like there directions on this thing right? Nope, thought so.
...
No turning back now I guess. Tell Coach, secure my place here, get to stay with my favorite people in the world... it'll all be perfect.
...
Right?"
-4AM, Wyll's Bedroom, Wyll-
"Deal Wyll Ravenguard, I'm Professor Mizora, although I'm sure you know me more as an administrator. I've seen your work around campus and would love to offer you the opportunity to do more good, especially since your father doesn't get many things moving around this school. Please reach out if you're interested, in haste if you can. I look forward to hearing from you. Best Regards, Professor Mizora.
...
Huh, odd. I've never heard of her before. You think my father would've mentioned her at some point. Then again, he doesn't talk much to me anymore, so I guess not. I cannot believe Astarion said that to me at the party. I mean, he wasn't wrong, but still, how impolite.
...
Maybe I need to hear it though. That perhaps what my father and I had... it's beyond repair. This Mizora character though, she seems to know about how he is now, and she clearly knows about me.
...
Dear Professor Mizora..."
-5AM, Astarion's Dorm, Tav and Astarion-
You wake up to pacing around the wooden floors, trying to turn in a bundle of blankets and sheets that have been strewn about. You sit up and try to wipe at your eyes, only crusted over from a few hours of sleep.
"Aster?"
Your voice comes out a little torn up from laughter and words shared hours prior. You certainly spoke for a long time, and not all of it you can remember. It is him pacing, as you could only assume in your half-asleep state.
"Hm? Oh, I didn't mean to wake you darling. You can go back to sleep."
"Are you alright?"
He pauses, stopping his eyes from darting around for your question.
"Why do you ask?"
"Because, if your pacing woke me up, then it's probably not just for fun."
"No dear, I was simply cleaning a little. I woke up, I figured I'd do something useful with the time."
"Don't start this out this way."
Your sentence comes out more strained that you would've liked, but it's true: you don't want to start things with him with secrets.
"You didn't lie to me before, don't lie to me now."
You pat his side of the bed, beckoning for him to come sit. He follows reluctantly.
"Well?"
"Well, what?"
You furrow your brow and pick up a nearby pillow, threatening to start a fluffy fight.
"You know what! C'mon, talk to me."
He sighs, and you put down your weapon.
"Fine, if you insist on being open and honest or whatever... I got a little more drunk at that party than I wanted to admit, especially after I told you I can handle my liquor and all-"
"Out with it Astarion."
"Hey, don't you full name me."
You try not to smile at his banter, but it feels nearly impossible.
"I'm serious, out with it."
He runs his hands through his hair.
"We didn't... we didn't do more than kiss, did we? Ugh, that sounds ridiculous, I sound ridiculous!"
He gets up to anxiously move around again, and you get up to go after him.
"Hey, hey, no, that's not ridiculous! That's not ridiculous at all."
Astarion turns to face you.
"Why do you think that's ridiculous?"
Your question sounds meek, sad.
"You know... I mean I've slept with plenty of people, and I don't really talk about it with you because I didn't want you to see me that way, but I know other people have probably told you, and I know what happened when we met and I-"
You lightly grab his hands.
"Hey, as if I'd listen to other people. The only facts I've ever taken about you, are from you, okay? And sure, I've heard things, but it doesn't matter. And no, we didn't do anything else, and I wouldn't have done anything without your clear consent to do so, I hope you know that."
You gently pull him to sit back down with you on the edge of the bed.
"It just... it wasn't really up to me before. It was a survival tactic, you know? For money, because Szarr told me to... And that night? I only did it because I was scared you'd go off and tell someone the wrong thing at the wrong time, that it would only end up worse for me, and so I did what I always do. I did what I've always been taught to do."
"And you didn't want to do that this time..."
He seems embarrassed, as if he's trying to close up away from you.
"I don't think I've ever really had a healthy relationship with that kind of thing? And I just got really- really scared that I did what I've always done, that I did something I wasn't ready for. That just feels so stupid though."
"Why? Why does not wanting to sleep with me have to be stupid and ridiculous?"
"Because! Because you could go hook up with anyone you want. Everyone at this age, we're all doing it all the time. I'd be the weird one, right? I'd be the weird one, and you'd run off to someone else who actually wants to do something with you and then I would've ruined this before we even started it."
You pause, trying to find words.
"And this is why I didn't want to say anything."
"But if you didn't say anything-"
"Yeah. Yeah, if I didn't say anything, I suppose..."
He starts to choke on the sadness a little, that overwhelming feeling he's been trying to keep bottled up for hours.
"Astarion, look at me."
He does, with a look in his eyes as if he's been punished.
"I would never want you to do something you don't want to do, ever."
"But-"
"Nope, there's nothing else. You just never have to do anything you don't want to, ever again, unless it's like homework, or I don't know... not murder someone? Starting now, your body is entirely yours again, as it always should have been. Okay?"
He wraps his arms around you.
"Okay."
A mumble into your tattered adventurer's shirt from the night before.
"To be very clear though, I still want to kiss you, often."
You laugh as he leaves a kiss on your cheek, still crying some, your face matching.
"Of course."
You go on to talk for a while that evening, about boundaries, about various little things, even about how apparently one time he dyed his hair in middle school. Somehow, you get him to show you a picture. It's one of those nights, or rather, mornings, you know? One of those mornings where you laugh a lot, and then go back to crying, and you share that one traumatic story you thought you'd never remember. He tells you a lot that evening, good and bad, and you share a lot of tears. They're good tears though, tears that mean something. That morning, the good and the bad, it all means something.

Levi smiled softly as you jumped around him excitedly because you were starting your third year at university. He reached over and pulled you against his body. “You are so cute.”
You clung to Levi and giggled as he walked with you to lectures. “I’m so excited. All our lectures are together! Plus, we’ve got a lecture on body language. That is so badass!”
Levi chuckled. “It is.”
You hugged his side. “Do you think this subject will help us? You know, for the security business?”
“Of course.” He kissed the side of your head. “Fuck, I want to be done with uni already. I just want to marry you and start our lives together.”
You giggled at his declaration. “Me too.”
The door creaked as Levi pulled it open. The lecture room was small with a few rows of seats, it was more of an intimate setting. It was set up so students could feel closer and more connected with each other and the professor. It was the perfect place for you all. It was a new start of a new year and everyone that was left in lectures were those who wanted to be there and learn about criminology.
Levi led the way to the best seats for you to cuddle. He placed his things on the desk before helping you with your things. “You got everything?”
“Yep!”
He moved his things around and started making notes for the lecture. “Bunny?”
Your bright eyes looked over at him. “Yes?”
His soft hand caressed your cheek. “I love you.”
A blush spread on your cheeks. “I love you too.”
His long fingers wrapped around your thigh and then gently squeezed. “Our professor seems cool.”
You watched your professor enter the room. He was average height, middle-aged, and had tamed stubble and messy swept-back hair. He strolled across the room like he owned it, he had confidence rolling off his body. He stood before the class and assessed the six people who were taking it. Amber eyes locked with yours and then a gentle smile spread on his charming lips.
Your professor approached you and Levi. “I am Tim Lightman. I want you all to call me Tim. I am your professor for body language. Please, introduce yourselves to me and we’ll get to know each other a bit.” He acknowledged each person, but his gaze locked back onto you. “And you? You haven’t spoken yet.”
Your cheeks heated up a little as you said your name. “I’m looking forward to this lecture.”
“I’m glad.”
Levi cleared his throat making Tim look at him. “Levi.”
“Good to meet you all. Shall we begin our lecture?”
Levi’s steel blue eyes locked onto Tim as he moved around the room. He noticed he kept looking over at you and asking you questions. Levi was so proud of your answers. You were so smart and curious in his eyes. Levi’s lit up in pure admiration at how your mind worked with the answers. He tried his best to intercept and to give you a break from being the centre of attention. Tiredness was washing over you and Levi noticed it.
A loud clapping of Tim’s hands brought the debates to an end. “Thank you all for your participation and hard work. I am afraid this will continue next week. Enjoy your afternoon and weekend.” He waved his hand as he called your name. “Could you stay behind?”
You paused during your packing to look at your professor. “Of course.”
Levi plopped down in his seat with a huff. “I’ll stay too.”
Tim raised a brown. “Oh?”
You squeaked as Levi yanked you to sit on his lap. “W-Well, we live together and he is my fiancé.”
Tim’s eyes scanned you both. “Interesting body language between the two of you.”
“What do you mean?”
He smirked a little before shaking his head. “It’s probably nothing.” He sat on the desk near you. “I wanted to talk to you about today.”
Nerves filled you as you instantly thought you did something bad and he was going to inform you that you shouldn’t be here. Your head lowered as you began pulling at your clothes. “Right, sir.”
“Tim, please.”
Levi’s strong arm wrapped around you. “You did amazing today. You’re okay.”
You turned your head and softly smiled at Levi. “Thank you.”
Tim reached over and squeezed your hand. “You were really good.” He pulled back and hummed. “I was wanting to talk to you so I could praise you for your hard work. I also want to invite you to a club I run. A group of talented people who can read body language well. We review interviews with criminals and improve our skills. I would love for you to join us.”
You blushed at the praise. “Oh, wow. When do you all meet?”
“Fridays at four.”
You turned your head to look at your handsome fiancé. “Are you free then?”
With a little squeeze of your body in his arms he processed his thoughts. He hummed in response and knew very well he would not let you be alone with Tim. “I can make it too.” He glared at Tim. “You thought I was good too, right?”
Tim returned Levi’s stare. “Indeed. I think it’ll be great to have you both.”
Levi lifted you and placed you on your feet. “Great. We’ll head home now.” He grabbed your hand. “Come on bunny.”
You waved to your professor. “Bye sir, enjoy your evening and weekend.” You stumbled along behind Levi as he dragged you home. “Levi?”
He slowed down as he felt his emotions flitter through his heart. “Can we talk? It’s not about us as a couple, but it is a serious talk.”
You nodded and gave his hand a slight squeeze. “Yes.”
“We’ll talk when we get home.” He lifted your hand and kissed the back of it. “I love you.”
“I love you always.”
Worry seeped into your body and anxiety began whispering away about different things inside your head. Too many bad things had happened to you and Levi over your time at university that you didn’t want more things to add to the list. Exhaustion washed over you and tears prickled in your eyes. A lump swelled in your throat as you fought a sob of emotional pain. Limbs became weak as you felt faint and unwell as your anxiety consumed you.
Levi caught you before you fell to the floor. “Hey, you okay? Are you tired? Is your blood sugar too low?” Small whimpers from you reached his ears. “Oh, bunny.” He scooped you up into his arms. “I’ve got you.”
You clung to Levi as you softly sobbed. “I’m sorry.”
“Don’t be sorry, bunny.” He gently squeezed you. “I should have worded it better. I set your anxiety off.”
You whined a little. “Love you.”
“I love you so much. I will always love you. You and me, forever and always”
You sniffed back your tears. “Yes.”
“Good girl.” He kissed your forehead. “So proud of you. You’re my brave cute little bunny.” He paused in front of the front door and shifted you in his arms. “Bunny? Could you open the door for me?”
You placed your hand in Levi’s pocket and retrieved his house key. After unlocking the door Levi kicked it closed behind him and let you lock it. The world around you faded as your man carried you past your friends and upstairs to the bedroom. You were softly placed on the bed before Levi put your school things away.
You slowly pulled off your coat as you thought about the day. You had gone from making love to Levi in the morning, having a great afternoon full of energy to a crying anxious bundle by the late afternoon. You felt a little guilty for bringing the mood down, but you reminded yourself of Levi’s encouraging words over the years. Levi pushed you to feel your emotions and to never be ashamed or sorry for them. He’d taught you that it was okay to feel broken and scared. It was okay for your moods to change.
Soft loving hands wrapping around your own snapped you out of your thoughts. A gentle smile spread over your lips as Levi looked at you with such deep love. “Levi.”
Levi raised your hands and kissed your fingers. “You remembering what I taught you? It’s okay to not be okay.”
You nodded and placed your forehead against his. “I just got worried that another bad thing was happening to us. My anxieties bubbled up and I thought we were going to be hurt.”
His soft lips pressed against yours as a deep hum escaped him. “I understand. I might be overly cautious with this and it’s probably nothing, but I just want to warn you before something does go the wrong way. I don’t want another Heather or Reuben. I want things to go right for us. You deserve happiness.” He released a long sigh. “I just…we just need to be cautious.”
You wrapped your arms around his neck and held him. “Tell me. Tell me what worries you.”
Levi sat on the bed before pulling you onto his lap. “Mr Lightman seems far too interested in you and I thought the way he called on you all the time, touched you a lot in places that he shouldn’t and to only invite you to his club seems odd. I might be reading into this way too much and he might be a nice friendly guy, but I don’t want to push my instincts to the side again as I did before. Please, please, be careful with him. Do not go to his lectures or the club he has without me, okay?”
You locked eyes with Levi and saw his concern. You trusted Levi with every fibre of your body, if Levi says someone wasn’t right, then they weren’t right. You nodded in agreement. “Yes, Levi. I trust you and if you say there’s something not right with him, then I’ll believe you. I admit, he was a little creepy.” You shivered a bit. “He touched me in weird places.”
Levi kissed your temple. “Thank you for believing me.”
“I’ll always believe you.” You cradled Levi’s face in your hands. “I feel the same way you do. I will be careful. Besides, I will only go to the club if you do. I want to have fun with you and spend time with you.”
Levi groaned as a blush spread over his cheeks. He looked away from you as his heart raced. “You’re too cute.”
You played with Levi’s shirt as your cheeks burned. “Hey, Levi? Can um…can we dress up for Halloween this year?”
“Sure, what do you want to be?”
Your cheeks burned. “Umm…I dunno…”
Levi smiled softly. “How about I’ll be the big bad wolf and you can be little red riding hood.”
You gasped in delight. “Yes!”
Tumblr media
Levi fixed the wolf ears attached to his hair. He opened his mouth to see the sharp canines he placed in to be the big bad wolf. He inspected his painted hands and fake nails on and found himself blushing that he’d gone above and beyond for you. Levi wasn’t one for dressing up, but he knew this would make you happy. He fixed his leather jacket and walked out of the bathroom to see you in a red dress with a cute cape on with the hood up.
Levi gulped hard as a shiver ran up his spine. “Wow.”
You looked over at Levi and smiled softly. “You look incredible.”
Levi growled at you. “Tch, fuck bunny.”
You twirled for him slowly. “You like? I have a corset under to help out.”
“I wanna eat you.”
You approached your man and ran your hands slowly up his chest. “You can eat me later.”
He leaned down and kissed you. He bit your lip and tugged a little as he growled. “So sexy.”
“You flatter me.”
He released a long sigh. “Shit, I’m really horny now.”
You blushed a little. “Well, I will help you with that when we get back. We promised we’d go.”
He tugged on his trousers a little. “Hopefully my erection will go down by the time we get there.”
You picked up your shoes and carried them to the front door. You put them on and smiled at Levi as he tapped his shoes on. “You look so good. You’re a proper bad boy.”
“Thanks.” He frowned a little. “You going to be warm enough in your cape?”
“Yes.”
He hummed in thought as he followed you outside. “Well, if you start feeling a little cold then please tell me.”
You grinned at Levi. “Promise.”
He held your hand tightly as you walked through the street to Hange’s home. He frowned a little when he saw Hange outside dressed as a mad scientist with Athena dressed as a Viking. “Tch, oi! You two! What are you doing outside?”
Athena squealed and ran for you. She scooped you up into her arms and spun around with you. “You look so cute! You and Levi have such a cute couple outfit.” She put you on your feet. “Modern-day red riding hood.” She winked at Levi. “Looking sexy.”
Levi blushed a little. “Thanks. I like your outfit. You look like a Norse God.”
“Aww, thanks. I worked hard on it.” She put her arm around you. “So, Levi, are you wanting to take many bites out of this little cupcake?”
“You have no idea.”
You hummed a laugh. “So, are Kat and Erwin here yet?”
Athena nodded. “Yeah, they look incredible. Greek Gods. They look so good.”
You grinned when you saw Hange’s girlfriend come running out of the house dressed as an asylum patient, her straight jacket sleeves billowing and flapping. “Oh wow, they look so cool.”
Levi hummed. “Matches their personality.” He moved you along to the home to hear the music blasting and saw the house was full of people. He glanced at Mike walking out and over to Hange. “Wait, Mike is dressed as an orderly. He’s matching Hange and her girlfriend…”
You patted Levi’s chest. “You sweet and innocent man.”
“What?” He stared at the three. “I don’t get it.” Levi’s eyes widened when Mike held Alyssa’s chin and kissed her. “OH! WAIT! They’re all together?”
You giggled. “Yeah, they’re in a poly relationship. It’s incredibly loving. They’re cute.”
Levi blushed hard. “Tch, I’m happy for them. I don’t get it because I’m very selfish and possessive with you. You’re mine and no one else’s.” He squeezed you. “All mine.” He smiled a little as he watched his three friends. “They seem so happy. I’m glad. They’ll have a very wild home when they have kids together and start their adult life after uni. I’m rooting for them.”
“Me too!” You stepped inside and looked around for your other friend Kat. You smiled brightly when you saw Erwin in his Greek God outfit with his back to the room as he cornered someone. You peeked a little and spied Kat with a very red face as Erwin gripped her neck. “Oh, spicy.”
Levi stared at his friend kissing his girlfriend. “I’ve never seen Erwin so bold before. Kat must have said something to set him off.”
“Probably.” You laughed and pulled Levi along to the kitchen and got a drink for you both. “It’s so busy.”
Levi held you close as he drank. “Hange knows a lot of people. She’s very sociable. Sometimes I wish I had those skills.”
You watched Levi down his drink. “You are good at being social.”
“I could be better.”
You put your cup down and untucked his shirt. You pushed your hands up and under his shirt so he could get skin-on-skin contact that always soothed him. “Bear.”
He tapped his forehead against yours. “Confidence. I am better than I think I am.”
“That’s right.”
He pouted a little. “Kiss.”
You leaned up and kissed him. “You can get all the kisses you want.”
He lifted you up and sat you on the kitchen counter. “You are so perfect.”
“So are you.”
His hands slowly dragged up the outside of your thighs as he pressed his pelvis against your pussy. He smiled against your lips as a hungry stirred inside him. “Can we go somewhere private? I want to fuck you and fill you with my cum.” He gripped your ass cheeks hard making you moan. “I wanna breed your tight little pussy.”
You whimpered. “Bathroom. Take me to the bathroom, now.”
Levi lifted you and ran with you to the bathroom. He slammed the door closed by pressing you against it. His lips crashed against yours as he yanked up your dress. “I fucking love you.”
You tangled your fingers in his hair and kissed him. “I love you too. Now, fuck me.”
“Lock the door.”
You fumbled with the handle and lock. “D-Done.”
He crashed his lips against yours and kissed you so roughly your lips were getting bruised. He smiled when you fumbled with his trousers and finally pulled his hard cock out. He yanked your panties to the side and slammed his cock up into you. He moaned at feeling your pussy wrapping around him and dragging his cock in deep. He panted a moment as he tried to control himself and focus on not cumming already.
You wrapped your arms around Levi’s neck and whined. “Levi.”
Levi gripped your thighs and lifted them and helped you wrap your legs around him. “Hold on, little red riding hood, this big bad wolf has a little gift for you.”
You gripped Levi’s back and tangled your fingers in his hair as he pounded himself in and out of you hard and fast. You bit Levi’s neck to stop yourself from screaming out loud in pleasure. Your cheeks flushed hot red as the bathroom echoed back the lewd sounds of Levi’s cock ramming in and out of your wet pussy, his cum filled balls tapping against your body and his animalistic growls of pleasure. Your toes curled tightly as pure euphoria rushed through you at being dominated by the man you loved in a kinky roleplay in a bathroom at a house party.
“Bunny.” He smiled at you as you gazed at him. He roughly kissed you making you whimper in delight. “You feel so good. Fuck, you feel incredible.”
You shivered as your body was pinned between Levi and the door. Your eyes rolled back in your head as you felt yourself slipping into pure ecstasy. You pulled from Levi’s lips and gasped air and felt so hot in the small bathroom as your man ravaged you. You slapped your hand over your mouth to hold back your moans, but you knew very well people wouldn’t be able to hear you over the loud music playing outside. You leaned your head back and smiled as Levi’s cock got deep inside your pussy and kissed your cervix.
Levi dragged his tongue up your neck until he reached your chin. He flicked his tongue against the bottom of your chin. He tilted his head and attacked your neck with a passionate and loving bite. Levi could feel your silken walls flutter around his dick. He knew you were close to cumming hard because of him, but he still could keep going for a bit longer. He was desperate to get you to orgasm and to feel incredible. Levi was always wanting to make you feel good.
Levi kissed your neck and enjoyed the vibrations of your moan against his lips. “Cum for me.”
You whimpered. “Levi.”
“Cum.”
You gripped Levi’s back. “Mm.”
“Be a good girl for me.”
You shivered as your coil snapped inside you. Your legs shook as heat rushed through your body like a tidal wave of hot water. “Oh fuck, Levi.”
Levi slowed his hips and lowered you to your feet. He pulled his cock out of you and manoeuvred you to the sink. He turned you so your back was facing him. He lifted your dress, pulled your underwear to the side and slipped his cock back into you. He wrapped his hand around your neck and lifted your head so you both locked eyes using the mirror above the sink. He smiled as you moaned for him as he slid his cock in and out of your pussy. He enjoyed your hooded eyes as you were overcome with pleasure.
Levi pumped his cock into you. “Look at you. You look so beautiful as you enjoy my cock.”
You moaned in delight. “Le-Levi. Y-You feel s-so good.”
He squeezed the sides of your neck and watched your eyes roll back in bliss. “Look at us. I want you to look at us as we fuck.”
You stared at Levi and smiled in delight. “I can’t wait to see you cum.”
Levi chomped on your shoulder and snarled a little as his possessiveness and need for you filled him. He grunted and moaned in delight. He pulled back and lifted your dress to gaze at where you were connected. He felt himself drooling at the sight of his cock getting buried inside you over and over. He flicked his gaze to your pleasure-filled face and wanted to give you the same view. He reached around the front and yanked your dress up and held you against him so you both could see in the mirror his dick pounding into you.
You whimpered and mewled as Levi’s hand massaged your chest. You reached down and began moving your fingers against your plump clit. You blushed at the view you had before you. You had never seen yourself like this before. You were flustered at seeing yourself being fucked hard by the man you loved. You placed your other hand on Levi’s grasping at your breast. You turned your head and kissed the man you loved with all the passion in your heart.
You leaned over the sink a little and began fucking yourself against Levi. You both moved hard and fast together as you chased your blissful end. You panted as your walls clenched around him. “Cum inside me. I need it, Levi. Please, fill me.”
Levi gripped your hips hard and began pounding his cock into you as hard and as fast as he could. He panted as the urge to cum was rushing towards him. He moaned your name. “S-So good.”
You shivered as you felt close to cumming. “That’s it, just like that! Don’t stop!”
Levi grunted and moaned. “F-Fuck, bunny!” He gasped. “I’m gonna cum.” He slammed deep into you and came hard. His voice cracked as he moaned in delight. He poured everything he had into you. His balls tightened and cock twitched inside you as he kept cumming. “Ngh, fuck, take it all bunny.”
You moved your fingers fast and felt the snap of pleasure. You cried out as a hot burning orgasm ripped through you. Your walls spasmed around Levi’s cock as it poured hot cum into you. You flopped against the sink and whined as the last bit of your orgasm made you twitch and buck. You whined as Levi’s cock dragged out of you leaving you feeling empty. You smiled at feeling him shower your back in kisses as he pulled your underwear back into place.
You turned to face Levi and wrapped your arms around his neck. “That was incredible.” You kissed him and hummed. “Let me help you clean.”
Levi panted as he came down from his high. He blushed as you cleaned his soft cock before tucking him away. “Thank you.” He slipped his hands over your waist. “I love you.”
“I love you.”
He smiled against your lips. “You’re so incredibly sexy.”
You blushed hard at his sweet words. “You’re really handsome, so very handsome that it makes my heart race.”
Levi tapped his forehead against yours. “I’m sorry this wasn’t as passionate as normal, but I promise I’ll make it up to you when we get home.”
You giggled. “I know you will.” You nibbled your lip. “We should roleplay.”
“We should.” He smirked. “We really should.”

Levi was happily spooning you in bed with his face nuzzled into the crook of your neck. He smiled as he woke up for the day, but he wasn’t ready to get up. He squeezed you and began nibbling your shoulder. He’d stayed by your side and kept an eye on you during your third year. Levi did not want anything bad happening to you or him, which meant keeping an eye on Mr Lightman. Everything was going smoothly and plans for the future were being made.
You sat up and covered your mouth. “Bathroom.”
Levi frowned as he lay there with his arms open. “Huh?”
You flew off the bed and raced to the bathroom. “Bathroom!”
Levi sat up when he heard you vomiting. “Bunny?” He slipped out of bed and whined as he looked at you sitting on the floor and coughing. “Honey?”
You groaned. “I’m okay. I think I’m coming down with something. I’ve been sick a lot recently and some foods just set me off.”
Levi crouched down and wiped your face. “We should take you to the campus doctor.”
You blushed a little. “It’ll be okay.”
“Darling, if food smells set you off then something isn’t right.”
You let out a long sigh. “All right. We’ll go.”
He helped you to your feet and assisted you as you changed into your clothes. “I’m worried about you.”
You waited for him to change. “It’s probably nothing. Maybe a stomach bug.”
“We’ve eaten the same things.”
You hummed a laugh and walked with Levi. “Yes, but our bodies are different.”
He paused in thought and hummed. “I suppose, but we have to make sure.”
“I know.” You lifted Levi’s hand and kissed the back of it. “Love you.”
He blushed a little. “Love you always.” He pulled you along to the doctor and asked if there was a free appointment. He smiled softly at hearing the doctor was free for them. “Come on bunny.”
The doctor welcomed you inside and checked your files. “Right…so anything like this happened before?”
You shook your head. “No, not really.”
They nodded. “Right. Has your period stopped?”
You blushed a little. “Well, since being on the implant I haven’t really had one.”
“Bloating? Sore breasts? Nausea? Cramping? Headaches?”
You nodded in agreement. “All.”
They typed away. “Right, right. Do you two have sex without a condom?”
Levi cleared his throat. “Yes. We uh…like it…so um…”
You held Levi’s hand. “I got the implant because it seemed the best option.”
The doctor hummed a laugh. “Don’t worry, I’m not shaming your kink.”
You sighed. “Is my implant acting up?”
They moved closer and felt your neck. “I think it has failed or stopped working.”
You blushed. “What do you mean?”
They pulled back and moved to a locker and grabbed two tests. “Take these to the bathroom and return to me.”
You took them and felt yourself blushing hard. “Pregnancy tests?”
Levi flinched. “Wh-what? You think? Really?”
The doctor nodded. “Indeed I do. You’re showing signs of pregnancy on the implant. Take those tests and if we get a positive, I will take out your implant and do another pregnancy test by taking your blood.”
Levi turned to you. “Bunny.”
You stood up. “I’ll be right back.”
Levi watched you go. “Bunny?”
The doctor handed Levi some flyers. “This is a little information that might help you. It’s just a guess, but I think your little one will be born in June or July. So, interesting graduation, huh?”
Levi smiled softly. “I can’t believe it…a baby…”
“This good news?”
Levi nodded and grinned as tears filled his eyes. “It’s perfect news!” He chuckled. “I’ll take great care with both of them.”
“I promise you, Mr Ackerman, the university will help you both out as much as possible.”
“Thank you.” He turned to the door and watched you enter. “Are you okay?”
You sat next to him and smiled softly. “Yeah.” You gripped the tests. “It’s sooner than we planned, but I am actually happy.” You blushed as your eyes sparkled as you imagined your child. “I’ll be a bit rough money-wise, but we can do it. I’ve saved up plenty.”
Levi kissed your temple. “We’ve got this.”
The doctor offered their hand. “This is lovely to see, it really is. Now, let’s see those tests.” They looked them over and smiled. “Congratulations. I’ll take the implant out and we’ll get you booked for check-ups, okay?”
You leaned and looked at the double positive. “Wow…is this normal?”
The doctor laughed as they took your implant out of your arm and started booking you in for future appointments as they spoke. “You’d be surprised. Life finds a way. Babies have been born holding IUDs before.” They cleaned your arm and took some blood for another test.
“Wow.”
They handed you a card. “Here are your appointments, okay? You’re both already doing well with saving money.” They smiled and said your name. “Please, take it easy. I know it’s a bit hard in your third year, but you have experienced extra stress. If you’re unwell or feel the strain, then please take the time off school. I’ll give you a sick note that will allow you to do that without any punishment.”
You bowed your head. “Thank you. Um, when does the sickness stop?”
“After the three months mark, usually.”
You stood up. “Perfect.”
Levi put his arm around you. “Come on. Let’s get you home to rest. Thank you again, doctor.”
You waved before walking out of the office. “So, we’re going home?”
Levi hugged you. “Yeah, why do you need to go somewhere?”
You nibbled your lip. “I uh…kind of…” you blushed hard. “Want to go to a baby shop…”
Levi’s eyes widened. “Baby…shop…” He ran with you making you laugh. He reached his car and helped you inside. “Let’s go!”
You buckled up and smiled softly as Levi’s eyes lit up in pure delight. “You really want to be a dad, don’t you?”
He glanced over at you. “I didn’t before I met you. I thought my life was going to be, going to university and getting my degree, becoming a cop and then a detective, working my way up and helping my mum out with money and then retiring. I never imagined meeting someone and changing my plans.”
You nibbled your lip. “Do you regret it? You know, meeting me and changing your life plans?”
He parked up and sat back as he stared at the baby shop. He turned his head and gazed at you. “Not one bit. My life is better with you. My previous plans weren’t even living. I was on autopilot. You made me live. I’m happier with you.” He smiled as he leaned over to you and kissed you. “I laugh, smile and have so much fun with you. I don’t ever want to go back to my old life.” He placed your hand on your belly. “I love both of you.”
You blushed hard and placed your hand on Levi’s. “We both love you too.”
He smiled and kissed you. “Come on, let’s go have a look.” He held your hand as he pulled you along to the shop. He gasped at seeing the small outfits and cute toys. “So adorable.”
You gripped your bag. “Pick a onesie.”
Levi gazed at you. “Huh?”
“Pick a onesie and I’ll buy it. Just one. It’ll be the first one.”
Levi felt a prickle of happiness go through him. He ran around the shop looking at different cute outfits but struggled to find the perfect one until he saw it, a bunny-themed onesie. “This one.” He lifted it to show you. “This one please.”
You hummed a laugh and guided him to the till. You paid for it all and walked with him back to the car. You couldn’t help but giggle as he gazed at the onesie. You thought it was adorable that he refused a bag so he could carry it. “You really like that onesie, don’t you?”
Levi sat in his car and cradled it in his arms. “Mm.”
You caressed his cheek as he kept staring at the onesie. “I’m so glad you’re happy about this.”
He locked eyes with you as tears filled his eyes. “They’re going to be so tiny.”
You wiped his tears. “That’s right.”
He smiled brightly at you. “Thank you. Thank you for being amazing and blessing up with such cute life.”
You blushed a little. “Well, you helped make them.” You frowned a bit. “I wonder when they were made…”
Levi leaned over and bit your neck. “Halloween probably.”
You gulped hard. “We were very kinky and horny that night.”
Levi placed his hand on the inside of your thigh and squeezed. “It was amazing. I liked playing dress up.”
You leaned towards him. “You’ve changed so much from our first time together. We used to be so shy and now we’re talking about fucking as we roleplay.” You grinned against his lips. “Incredible.”
Levi blushed. “Well, you make me this way.” He crashed his lips against yours. “We should head home. You know, so I can make extra sure you’re pregnant.”
You giggled at his suggestion. “Oh? So, you have a lot of cum for my pussy, huh?”
He nodded and chuckled. “So much. I’m going to fill up until I can’t put in anymore.”
You shivered in delight. “Get me home, now.”
Levi started up the car. “Yes, ma’am.”

jen jen jen for the ask game can you spare some lilyminerva thoughts for a poor soul?? and ritaminerva thoughts?? and maybe also ritasybill?? just as a treat??
i would jump infront of a train if you asked me to so YES !!!!!! of course i can !!!!!!!
lilyminerva:
makes sense/comepls me
listen. this may be a stretch. but i think even in canon it would make sense for lily to have a onesided obsessive crush on minerva even if it never ever evolver into anything because lily was a minor obviously and i don’t think minerva ever looked twice at lily when she was her student. but like. we’ve all had crushes on teachers ??? even when we were underage ?? like i remember having a huge crush on my english teacher (i was her favorite student❤️) and i would truly gather my things sooooo slowly after class just to have a few seconds alone with her. like a normal person .
i also think minerva is the only professor that would treat lily like a person? who wouldnt treat her like a child prodigy ?? and lily respects that woman soooooo much. so so so much. she grows a little obsessive, even gets frustrated that minerva doesnt give her special treatmeant, why not, what am i doing wrong, why can’t i impress her like everyone else, im fucking lily evans
in a modern au or canon divergence. i love the idea of lily being a new professor at her old school where minerva is still working. she’s married to james, she has the perfect life, james is lovely, he wants to have a family with her. everything is perfect. everything is the way lily always wanted it to be………… or did she.. she runs into minerva on the first day and shes immediately gone. shes immediately thrown back into her obsessive tendencies. her creepy and stalkery ways (sorry i just love creepy lily 😔). she follows minerva around everywhere, puts up her best front, shes being sooooo nice, shes trying to impress her so fucking badly. but minerva is stern. shes a stubborn woman and she has never ever played favorites. lily has always been everyones favorite. its driving her insane. she shows up super early for work. she brings minerva coffee. she stays late. she volonteers for anything there is to volonteer for. she wants minervas approval so bad. shes thinking about her all the time. she cant even get off anymore when shes sleeping with james unless shes thinking about minerva.
HONESTLY ?? i don’t even know if i want it to be requited. i love lilys onesided obsessive love. she snaps one day obviouly. she stomps into minervas office. or maybe she gets drunk and goes all the way to her house. she has a whole speach prepared. she doesnt do the speach. shes just yelling and demanding to know why minerva doesnt want her. ”im so bright!!!!” ”im the brightest student you’ve ever had!!!!!” ”why don’t you love me?????” ”tell me what to do i’ll do anything!!!!!” shes drunk and sobbing at minervas house. maybe minerva is married. to poppy, maybe. AAAAAAAAAAA
ritaminerva:
doesn’t make sense/compels me
they’ve bewitched me body and sould. student/teacher relationship. rita is a uni student and minerva is her professor. rita is the biggest teachers pet in all of history. she’d fucking bring an apple for minerva im sooooo sure of it. minerva is the professor everyones been dreading. they have awful nicknames for her. shes stern and doesn’t take anyones bullshit. its love at first sight for rita. she’s so entirely gone. she gathers her things soo slowly to be alone with minerva for just a few seconds. she always sits in the front row. doesn’t take her eyes off minerva once during lectures. shes biting her pencils and minerva watches her intently as she does. rita is a fucking tease and she knows it. she gets under minervas skin. she’s always raising her hand in class. she’s always right. she always wants to debate. she’s emailing minerva after hours. minerva is responding despite knowing better. its not her fucking fault that rita is so bloody interesting. so cutthroat. shes challenging minerva and minerva loves a challenge. rita actually cares!!!!! shes not falling asleep at her desk or running out of class once its over. shes dedicated. and did i mention… a fucking tease……… shes openly flirting with minerva in the emails and at first minerva ignores it. but she doesn’t say anything. eventually she starts flirting back, just a bit. whats the harm. yeah whats the fucking harm!!!!!!! she asks herself when she finds herself with a lap full of rita, ritas back against minervas desk. rita talking academic filth in minervas ear. minervas not sure she even locked the door to the classroom. it doesnt matter she thinks when rita starts unbuttoning her shirt and says ”a little help, professor?”
ritasybill:
makes sense/compels me
THEMMMMMM. THEM THEM THEM……… they have literally changed the trajectory of my life forever and ever.
i think they’d be interesting in a canon compliant fic, but im way way way more intrigued by our little au we (mostly you!!!!!!! 🧎) created. them working for a trashy magazine together. sybill being obsessed with rita from start. bewitched body and soul. rita deciding from that that sybill is her rival and nothing else. stalkery delusional vines. sybill doing rituals and spells to get rita to fall in love with her. rita keeping a binder of every single detail of sybills life. she has to know her competition obviously. she has a picture of sybill on her ceiling above her bed just so she can glare at it. if the glaring turns into yearning then thats no ones business but her own :/
literally actually delusional. both of them. batshit insane women. they should be together❤️

— DEATHLY HOLIDAY
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
lee know x fem!reader,
1st person perspective
genre: fantasy!au, fluff, spooky season themed
word count: 3,7k
warnings: VERY mild descriptions of missing body parts, mentions of death
A/N: To be fair, this whole piece is silly. But I just feel the need to specify that this is almost one year old. I wrote it as a uni assignment back in december and my professor actually liked it?? Although I know it's quite cartoonish, but this work is one of my favourites. I had a lot of fun writing it back then and it will always remain close to my heart. I know it ends abruptly, but as I said, being an assignment, I had to restrict myself. I did try rewriting it several times, but I gradually came to the conclusion that I just cannot do it: this is how it's supposed to be, so I'm leaving it like that. I know the events take place during Christmas time, but I felt like the whole vibe goes better with the spooky season so here we are. Hope you'll enojoy reading it as much as I did writing it!
Visiting the world of the dead on Christmas day isn’t quite the surprise someone would wish to wake up to, right? Well, people are different. And I am also not the type to wish for sweets or some expensive phone. Okay, maybe I do have those on my wish list, any teenager does, but they’re not on the top of it.
Who, in their right mind, would want to visit the world of the dead? Actually, what is the world of the dead?
I know, there’s a lot of stuff to unfold here. Let me introduce you to the unluckiest person on Earth and her pathetic story. No sugar-coating here.
When I was young, around seven years old, my parents suddenly died in a car accident. Or at least that’s what my sweet aunt told me on the 24th of December, right before Christmas. Yes, at seven years old I woke up on Christmas day with no parents and no presents. At eighteen years old I woke up in the Underworld. It’s starting to make a little sense, doesn’t it?
My whole life I lived in denial, thinking that my parents did not die and that my aunt was lying to me, because they had some big surprise waiting for me. Well, pretending to be dead isn’t the best way to cover up a surprise, but I tend to be very creative. With each day and year passing I became more and more desperate, until I reached that age where all hope dissipates into thin air and you realize you’ve lived all your teenage years like a regretful idiot. Bullied at school for living with my old, poor aunt, having no friends, breaking an ankle and having to give up on dance lessons, things seemed to go for the worse as I continued to grow up.
But that tiny spark of hope from my chest never actually disappeared. I fooled myself for too long to just let it go so easily. So of course, when a half-dead boy told me he knows a way for me to actually confirm if my parents are dead or not, I believed him. Friendly advice, never do that. Never trust random people that show up in your bedroom in the evening after you just came back from school. Especially if that someone is half-dead. And looks like a handsome young man in his twenties.
I can justify myself. I had a really bad day and I was on the brink of losing my sanity. So, no, I wasn’t in my right mind when I said yes to the totally not suspicious offer of helping this guy get an approval to reside in The Between as an official citizen and in exchange getting help to find my parents in The Underworld. I was dumb. I know.
As I discovered from this guy named Minho, The Between is a world designated for those lost souls that weren’t granted the honor of drifting peacefully into The Underworld for various reasons. Either they committed serious sins and didn’t repay enough for them or the reaper who had to guide them just wasn’t in the mood. Even dead beings have changing moods, as it seems.
There were some cases where souls were granted one last chance and it was their choice what to do with it. Either take it and repay your sins in order to sleep for eternity in peace or just ignore it and live in The Between as a half-dead person. Not alive, but not quite dead either. Just... existing. And this was the case for my new friend as well.
Trusting him was a very rash idea, especially after I heard everything about how the afterlife works. But if he really was entirely suspicious, he wouldn’t have told me everything, right? Of course, I didn’t have the affirmation that he spilled all the beans, but considering the state I was in at that time, no one has the right to judge the way I chose to do things.
“So”, the voice of the young man who brought me here resounded into my ears, bringing me back to the present. “How long do you plan to stare at the wall like you want to burn this whole place down? Is that wall a portal to your mental journal or something?”
I turned my head to look at him with gritted teeth. As much as he annoyed me, I needed his help. And we made a promise. And I dislike breaking promises.
"You're exceptionally rude for a dead person".
"Technically, I am not entirely dead."
"But you are entirely unbearable."
He scoffed, turning his head to the other side. The problem was, there was nothing interesting there. Just another plain wall with a faded poster on it. I wouldn't expect more from an elevator that brings you to the afterlife. One day you're just chilling, drinking your coffee on the terrace of your house and the next day you discover some people can summon elevators to Hell. There are many mysteries in this world.
"We're here", his voice sounded thankful, like he couldn't wait to get out of that elevator.
I also couldn't bear to stand there any longer. The Christmas carols were making the whole situation even eerier and it made my insides hurt. Was it fear? Anger? Confusion? Maybe a mix of all of them at once. As I was standing there, in the large elevator that was descending to The Between, I realized just how weird the cycle of life is. We just randomly appear into existence without being questioned beforehand if we actually want to be here, then we crawl through life pretending we enjoy it, and then… and then we go back into nothingness. Or that's what I thought until a few days ago when I first met Minho, a soul who wasn't allowed to reside either on Earth or in The Underworld. He didn’t show it at first, but he was lonely and he was very desperate. And that must mean that life — if I could call it that — in The Underworld and in The Between wasn’t that scary.
“Can you tell me what exactly am I supposed to do in order to make that... uh...”
“Reaper.”
“Right... how do I convince that reaper to give you permission to reside in The Between?”
He turned around, hands in his pockets and expressionless. Minho didn’t seem that old, but from the way he was dressed, in cloth trousers and a silk shirt, he most likely died long ago. He wasn’t wearing many accessories, but his golden wristwatch was another detail that could betray his age. Even if he roamed the Earth for so long, he just refused to adapt to the changes of everyday life. Not that he was allowed to do it, anyway.
Before descending into The Between, Minho didn’t give me many details regarding how a mortal person could get entangled in the affairs of the dead and get out with a positive result, so I was kind of confused. He assured me many times that I was the secret key he had been looking for all along. I doubted it all at first, naturally, but I felt like it had something to do with my parents. Since no one had told me anything about them, I was suspicious. My old grandaunt wouldn’t go into detail every time I would ask her about my parents, like I was forbidden from learning the past of the people who brought me into this world. And Minho was the first person, even if dead, that was willing to help me. It actually looked like he knew something I didn’t, which made me even more curious and suspicious. Plus, if there was ever the possibility of me not coming back to the world of the living, it’s not like I was leaving much behind.
“You’ll paint.”
“I will paint?”
“Yes”, he waited for me to reach him. He wasn’t that tall, but it was hard to keep up with his pace. “I thought mortals still call it that nowadays? Or is the process of you filling a canvas with color not called painting anymore? I’m pretty sure I’ve seen a lot of drawings in your room.”
“I know you’re half ghost or whatever, but that doesn’t give you the permission to rummage in a stranger's room.” I said, trying to catch his eyes. He wasn’t even sparing me a glance, as if I wasn’t that important to be given the honor.
“I didn’t have to. You are not the most organized person I know.”
I waved my hand aimlessly, trying to remove his mischievous remarks.
“I just cannot understand what a reaper could do with a painting. Do you have art expositions in the world of the dead?”
“You’d be surprised.”
“Wow”, I said, shaking my head. “The Underworld and The Between seem much more ordinary than I thought.”
“I wouldn’t say so”, he finally took a hand out of his pocket to check his watch. “Time here passes differently than on Earth. Day and night are the same thing, there’s no sky and everyone has a job they have to complete according to how much they accomplished in the living world.”
I raised my head while he was talking and I let out a shocked gasp. He was right. The sky was just plain blackness. No moon, no stars, nothing. But it also didn’t look like a ceiling. It was just an eternity of darkness.
“I thought good people would have a better view in the afterlife.”
“The sky looks different to everyone. Since you’re not dead yet, you don’t see anything at all.”
“Oh... Then what do you see?”
He stopped and I almost hit my head on his shoulder. He took me by surprise by turning his head and looking me in the eyes. I felt a shiver down my spine. His eyes were blue, the darkest shade I’ve ever seen in a person’s eyes. He smiled, but it didn’t look honest at all.
“I don’t see anything either”, he said. “Since I’m only half dead.”
“That’s sad.”
“Not really. Once you’re made an official resident, The Between is said to be much better, anyway.”
I didn’t answer because I was trying to scan my surroundings. The elevator, which Minho called unironically Hellevator, brought us to a completely deserted place. I feel like this way of coming into The Between wasn’t something legal, because me and Minho stepped into a weird looking alley. The air was very humid; it smelled like rotten flesh.
There was noise not so far away.
He raised his hand with his palm up.
“I don’t think dancing in a stinky alley in the afterlife is a very wise idea.”
“That’s not it, idiot”, he shot me a deathly glare. “I’m asking you to hold on to me. It’s going to get crowded.”
“Oh, what a gentleman. When were you born, in the 19th century?”
“I don’t plan on giving you history lectures”, Minho took my hand against my will, but he held it gently. His brown locks were blocking his eyes, but the dark blue in them sent shivers through my body nonetheless. I knew he was doing his best on keeping his composure while talking to me and the fact that he was succeeding made my fear decrease by a degree. Whatever he had done when he had been alive, he didn’t seem like a bad person.
“I’m pretty sure your life was so boring, the reaper just wanted to make the afterlife more interesting for you by giving you a hard time”, I followed in his quick steps making sure not to trip on my own legs. “He seems the type to be into anything that proves to be entertaining, since you said a painting could convince him to change his mind.”
“I’ll make sure to make the rest of your life as interesting as it can be after we get out of here”, he squeezed my hand, but his good manners didn’t allow him to do it too hard.
“I can’t wait.”

Christmas is such a powerful holiday that it can follow you even after you die. Talk about being eternal.
As Minho warned me, we reached a crowded boulevard. There were dead souls everywhere, taking the form of their physical bodies from the moment they died, so the view that greeted me was not something an eight year old child would like to see when he goes caroling. I saw men with no hands, a woman with only one eye, burned faces and many other atrocities I’m not really inclined to describe. But that wasn’t what made the atmosphere so sinister, but the fact that those last souls were singing. Christmas carols were present not only in the Hellevator, but also on the streets of The Between. Small kids that had had the misfortune of dying young were wearing Santa hats bought from ghostly stores that were also decorated. Transparent figures were passing through me, screaming the lyrics of what I recognized as Wham!’s Last Christmas, but very distorted, almost sounding like the soundtrack of a horror movie. I moved closer to Minho unconsciously, hoping that his body could hide my presence, but my physical, breathing and full of life body was too obvious in the crowd of dead souls, so they were staring right at me.
When I asked Minho how it was possible that Christmas was present even here, he told me that some dead souls were holding on so much to their beliefs that the afterlife didn't succeed in stripping them of these childish traditions. Even though it was all meaningless now, since The Between was only a place where souls were just fooling themselves.
I held my eyes partially closed for the rest of the expedition through ghosts. I chose to keep the little drop of innocence left in me unblemished.
Minho let go of my hand once we arrived at a huge building. It looked a lot like the British parliament building, but much smaller. I realized I was staring at it too much when I sensed Minho’s presence was missing. He was already climbing up the stairs.
There weren’t any guards there, which I found quite suspicious, but I reminded myself I was in a world where the citizens weren’t either dead or alive and there wasn’t much a guard could threaten trespassers with.
That childish thought of mine was immediately erased when I caught up with Minho and a huge shadow covered us both. I didn’t scream, although I really felt the need to, but instead I covered my mouth and stood rooted to the spot, paralyzed. That huge shadow was created by a creature I didn’t really think I would ever meet, even though I’d already seen things nobody has.
Minho was not surprised by the slightest. He was still standing in front of the big mahogany doors, hands in his pockets, unfazed. For a moment I wondered how many times he found himself helplessly in front of these doors, trying again and again to gain something that seemed so unreacheable for him.
My line of thought was caught off when the impolite gargoyle decided to land messily beside Minho.
“I think this is the third century I’m telling you to just give it up”, the stone figure spoke up. I looked at it, blinking, then I moved my gaze on Minho. The boy just brushed the comment off with his hand, clicking his tongue.
“And I thought we became best friends in the meantime. You really disappointed me today.”
“I don’t befriend sinners”, the gargoyle’s expression didn’t move an inch, not even his mouth, but the annoyance in his tone was too obvious.
“That’s a pity, since this place is filled with them”, Minho extended his arms as if to prove his point.
“Not my problem. Move past.”
“You see, this is why you’re so grumpy all the time. You should really make some friends.”
“I don’t need friends. The word of my master is enough.”
“Yeah, whatever”, Minho turned to me.
The careless, defiant attitude he showed me on the day I first met him came back, but it seemed to be controlled by desperation this time. Or I was probably seeing it now because I was aware of his situation.
“I have a present for that master of yours.”
The gargoyle’s head tilted almost imperceptibly.
“That’s a new one. What could a sinner like you bring here and please my master?”
That was the moment I knew something was not right. Minho didn’t move his gaze from my eyes, staring right into them. His blue irises pierced my being, as if reading my every thought, my every fear, all my dark secrets and insecurities even my own conscience didn’t know about. And then the corner of his mouth rose in a sly grin.
“His daughter.”
Tumblr media
Flashback to that paragraph where I said to never trust a handsome half dead young man in his twenties. He doesn’t even need to be half dead, actually, that’s just an unfortunate bonus that I got as a Christmas present.
“This wasn’t on our contract.”
“We do not have a contract.”
“It’s an imaginary contract. It’s stored in my mind, and there’s even your signature on it too!”, I refrained myself from speaking too loudly, because the room me and Minho got sent was too big and every little sound was echoing perfectly.
“You’re crazier than the ghost that sells Christmas hats on the boulevard”, he looked at me with one eyebrow up, as if contemplating if I was actually the person he needed for his case.
“At least I’m not a liar.”
“I never lied to you.”
“But I don’t remember this piece of information either”, I crossed my arms, hiding the fear that was slowly creeping into my being. Trying to act tough can do the trick most of the time. “I am pretty sure my dad was not a Reaper.”
Minho ruffled his brown locks with one hand, then looked at me with his dark blue gaze.
“He’s not. But humans can become Reapers after they die. Remember how I told you that every soul is given a task after they die according to how they lived on Earth? Souls can be given the task to guide others into the judgment court, which is in this building. But no, the Reaper that judged me isn’t your father.”
“Then what the hell do I have to do with this whole situation?”
He looked down at his feet.
“You’ll have to paint a portrait. A self portrait, to be exact.”
“What, he fell in love with me or something? Are Reapers allowed to do that?”
“As much as I would love to suitably answer to your sarcastic remarks, this is not the right time”, he made a few steps until he was right in front of me. There was no scent coming from his body and his eyes seemed glossier than usual. “When I told you that you’re the person I’ve been looking for all this time, I wasn’t lying. That Reaper had a daughter when he was still alive, but she died before her twentieth birthday, which was coincidentally on Christmas. He commited suicide after that, which lead him here. Killing himself was a grave sin, so he was given the task of guiding and analyzing other souls' lives as a punishment. He’s reminded everyday of the two lives that he lost.”
“That’s…”
I couldn’t continue, because I wasn’t even capable of finding the right words. The cruelty of the cycle of life seemed even more real.
“But… isn’t his daughter here?”
He shook his head.
“No. She died of an illness, but she had been a good person in her short period of breathing. She went to The Underworld, and he is stuck here.”
“Wow”, I managed to whisper, still processing the information.
“Yeah. And you’re what I need because.. You look exactly like her. Some souls from The Underworld can be reborn, and you’re now the new possessor of her soul.”
I blinked. And blinked again.
“No.”
“Yes.”
“Wow.”
“Mhm.”
Minho patted me on the back gently and left the room without a word. When we were tossed here, the painting materials were already prepared. I looked at them with my mind lost in a thick fog and I sat in front of the tall easel.
Tumblr media
The portrait was done earlier than I expected. The brush fell from my numb hand with a small thud. I tried to recreate what I see daily in the mirror as accurately as possible. I’d never done a self portrait until that day, but I did unexpectedly well.
A knock made me startle and come back into reality.
“I’m… I’m done.”
The door opened and Minho came in with a curious look on his face.
“Can I see it?” he tried hiding the excitement in his tone, but the corners of his mouth were slightly raised, which made him look like a happy cat.
I encouraged him with a wave of my hand. He walked confidently to me and he looked at the painting expectantly.
“It looks exactly like her”, he whispered, looking dazed. I found his sparkling eyes a little odd, but I didn’t give it much thought.
“I’ll go give it to him. You did an amazing job.”
“Thanks.”
He looked at me gently, an expression I never expected from him. It made his features seem softer.
“I’ll ask about your parents as well. He most certainly knows what happened to them.”
He sighed, making a short pause.
“Thank you. Really, I kind of forced you into this and your reward isn’t enough for what you had to go through.”
I shook my head, feeling too tired to think too much. Everything was just too overwhelming.
“It’s fine
“I’ll send you a letter in a few days with the information I managed to gather.”
“Thanks.”
Minho looked at me once more with a big grin on his face.
“What?”
“You know, I never told you what was the sin that brought me in this situation.”
“You don’t need to tell me.”
“I tried to revive a dead soul before it reached The Underworld.”
I raised my head, all the haziness that dominated me a second ago dissipating into thin air.
“And she looked exactly like you.”

WIP meme. Tell us about “Sorry, not sorry” please. 💜
Thanks for asking 💗🧡 (WIP Challenge see here)
Sooo, I actually tried to find out why I wrote that fic (most of my stuff rn stem from events like the Steter Week or Nano or something I wrote for @luzineko because she's the one who get's my ideas thrown at her head 😂) but I think that's actually one of the fics in this listing that I just had an Idea™ and needed to write it 😂
It's an Teen Wolf-AU with Steter (you actually found one of the two TW-fics in this lineup 😂) and in comparison to the rest one of the newer ones.
It had the title "Dozent!Peter & Student!Stiles" before it got renamed into "Sorry, not Sorry". And yes, the former WIP-title is in German even if you'd miss it if you blinked xD A Dozent is an instructor (not necessarily professor) at an university. They're often guest lecturers - in this case Peter was called in by his sister Talia, who teaches law (and is a professor) at said university, to give a lecture about a special topic he as a current lawyer has more experience with.
And thus he meets a certain student who can't keep his mouth shut xD
I think I actually already posted something of it here or there in a tag game, so I'll just give you the beginning - and the phrases that I couldn't get out of my head that made me write this thing 😂
„Why am I doing this again?“ he asked, eying the lecture hall full of Students, talking to each other. The noise alone was reason enough to turn and leave, nevermind that he had better things to do with his time. Talia looked over to him, raising an eyebrow. „Because I asked you to.“ „That doesn‘t sound like me,“ he snorted, shaking his head. When he looked up, Talia‘s eyes were glowing red. „Ah, right. You didn’t ‚ask‘ the nice way.“ This time she grinned. „That wouldn’t have worked on you anyway“ He looked over the horde of students he had to entertain in less than a minute. „True.“
Sooo, Tl;DR:
"Sorry, not Sorry" is a Teen Wolf Steter-AU, still supernatural-adjacent, where Talia is a professor at uni and the reason Peter and Stiles meet - much to her chagrin.
It's around 10k long and I'm at draft 2 :3

okay besties, I feel like I'm going to ruin all of the topics I want to write but I'll still try. I have written at least a sentence each out of every one of these, but didn't have time to continue any of them. (I'm almost done with my finals so I can finally be creative again yay (Yes, I'm aware I posted a fic few days ago, that's called procrastination))
SO WHAT DO WE WANT TO SEE FIRST?
a, Italian professor Damiano! AU where Y/N has a crush on him and can't concentrate in his uni classes and gets bad grades and all of it turns into extra work which leads into spending more time with him alone. And that turns into some sexy fun in the library and in the cleaner's closet and in the toilets and....you get the point.
b, groupie! Y/N sleeping her way through the band and catching feelings for one of them (lmk who it should be) and then it turns into some drama and maybe someone else could fall for her? (also lmk who you think it should be)
c, The line "I play guitar, but she's into drummers" from 5sos' song Try Hard gave me an idea. Y/N could have a crush on Ethan as she always liked drummers, but he doesn't feel the same. Thomas tries to win her over, but she's oblivious. Everyone around her keeps making jokes how she wants to only date drummers and shit and it makes Thomas sad.
d, similiar to the previous one, Y/N has a history of dating bass players. She always immediately felt attached to every bass player in every new band she discovered. When she meets Victoria, she doesn't know how to feel because she thinks she's straight but she obviously falls for her. (I thought of this very cliché saying: ....and then she fell for a woman that rocked harder than any man ever could) (inspired by myself, since I am into bass players in every band I like and this is my fantasy. Never dated one tho (the one I actuall got close to didn't like me back lol))
Feel free to slide into my DMs/ asks with suggestions or reply to this so I know what I should do next!
Thanks <3

thinking about human!au Logan being very good (according to himself) at concealing his emotions, and being aware of his bad habits but not knowing another alternative. and he meets Janus who is all graceful and calm all of the time and who Logan admires and loves so much.
and Logan is like i better not screw this up, trying his absolute best not to show how badly he has it inside his head, because he’s convinced that graceful, put-together Janus would never want to be with him if he found out.
except when they finally confess their feelings Logan is incredibly stressed because he has to be honest with Janus about who he really is and his flaws (the perfectionism, the impostor syndrome, the anxiety, the trauma left-over of having to be the best kid in every class, etc. + his perceived impossibility to change), he has to warn Janus before he regrets getting close to Logan.
but he is taken by surprise because Janus is like “it’s okay, i know.” // “you know??”
and Janus patiently explains to him that he has always noticed little things about Logan. that that’s why he always offers to buy him tea instead of coffee, or why he makes sure to call when he knows it’s a stressful time at work to make sure he’s sleeping, or why he always corrects Logan when he says terrible stuff about himself, and more and more details like that.
and Logan just.. breaks down in tears because now that he mentioned it, it’s true. and it’s another reason why he has been feeling so much better since meeting Janus, not only because when they’re together Janus quiets his stress down, but because he has caught on unconsciously and is able to do those little things by himself now. not always perhaps, but enough to make a small difference.
and the fact that Janus has known all this time what a mess he is inside despite his smart and formal appearance and still cares about him is the last thing Logan expected but the best that could have happened to him, that he couldn’t have even dreamed 🥺

bestie this is completely unrelated except it sorta is bc doctorxdoctor is scrumptious except i cannot with med school so my go to is professors at the same uni who are married
i think you drabbled a bit about this before??? correct me if i'm wrong lol 😭
Oh that’s hot, too and I’m on board. I probably have 😭😭 but it’s a fantastic au, so I love it when ppl wanna talk about it. Some quick ideas for both that have been in my rotation lately
Some cocky new resident bursts through the doors to the office space where you, Levi, your residents, and a few co-workers typically reside, frantic, and  demanding to speak to Dr. Ackerman. Levi only looks up from his notebook with a blank expression in his eyes to question, “Which one?” All of the kid’s confidence wavers, “Um... aren’t you Dr. Ackerman, sir?” Levi only shrugs, and points a weighted pen in the student’s direction, to an office door barely open wide enough to see a sliver of your profile as you type away on your computer, “Yes, I am, but so is she.”
You should have known better, or at least been a little more thorough—for someone completing their MD-PhD, you’d think you’d do a quick Google search on the guy you’re seeing at least once to see if anything important pops up—because Jaeger really isn’t that common of a last name. Because not only is your boyfriend of nearly a year the younger brother your least favorite TA/supervisor, he’s also the son of the medical director of the hospital you’ll be working at next semester; and word on the street is Dr. Carla Jaeger doesn’t take lightly to her baby getting hurt.
After taking residences in facilities nearly four thousand miles apart, Jean couldn’t care less about being a fully fledged doctor—the only thing on his mind is getting home to you, and never leaving. So, when he finally gets to your place, there’s not a single doubt in his mind when he drops his bags, cups your face between your hands, and asks you to move in with him.
Connie really needs to stop calling you down to his office for “urgent” matters concerning the x-rays and images of your patients, when his only urgent concern is that he misses you. And that the x-ray table was freshly sterilized, so if you wanna... relieve some stress, he knows a place.
Mikasa always had a soft spot for kids, and at one point considered pediatrics as a specialty. Even though she went down another route, she’s reminded of her love for children when Sasha asks for her to cover at her clinic for last few hours of the day. It reminds her that while doesn’t regret her speciality, but she does envy Sasha sometimes. So much so, that when she comes home to you later that evening, she can’t stop herself before she blurts out, “What do you think about adopting a kid?”
And for the professor/university side of things:
Hange can’t help but cackle in the corner of the classroom as Levi’s student finish their presentation—a fourty-four slide powerpoint defending their belief that you and him are 100% dating—because while they compiled some pretty convincing arguments, Hange thinks it’s hilarious because Levi’s only reply is, “We’re very close with each other, as roommates should be.”
You and Levi have a very special end-of-semester ritual. After all the exams and final papers and projects have been turned in, you like to sit on the touch with a glass of wine, and look through your course evaluations together; and they’re anonymous, but you two like to place bets on which students wrote which review. Most are positive, and you think it’s funny that 90% of Levi’s follow the general vibe of “Prof Ackerman is kind of cold-hearted on the outside and not an easy grader but he’s a good teacher.”
It’s only like the freshman think they have a chance with you—for one, you’re a senior, and secondly, you’re their lab TA and you can very easily fail them if they tick you off—but they have to admit to feeling a little crushed when they find out that not only are you not single, but you’re dating Armin, the other lab TA everyone has a crush on.
A rare au in which Levi does admit that he is married, but doesn’t disclose any information about you until the very last day of the semester. His students are practically bouncing off the walls on the last day of lecture before exams, ready for the big reveal. Imagine how dumb they feel when Levi finally tells them your name, and they realize that he’s been talking about you all the time, because your name is listed well over twelve times in the citations for the articles they’ve been reading all semester. (Eren has you sign his syllabus and his first midterm of the year, because you’re basically a celebrity at that point).

Sticky, Saccharine & Sinful
Summary: Professor Jaeger asks his assistant to come over and grade some papers. Pairing: Zeke Jaeger x Fem!Reader (modern AU) Warnings & Content: language, protected sex, fingering, oral sex (female & male receiving), spanking, daddy kink, bossy Zeke, bratty Reader, tying up, bit of an age gap but no underage shit (we don’t do that here) Word Count: 2.5 k
A/N: Huehuehue guess who finally wrote a daddy kink smut? Also I have looped Cherry Cola by Kuwada the entire time i wrote, proofread and formatted this bitch, I think it works with the atmosphere
Tumblr media
"Y/N, I'm gonna need you to help me grade some papers later today." Professor Jaeger pushed his glasses with his index finger as he looked up from his book.
"You got it, boss!" You nodded as you entered the staff lounge room at Stohess Uni, two cups in your hands.
"How many times do I have to tell you to call me Zeke?" The man sighed. “Or at least call me professor.”
"But I'm your assistant, you're my superior, that makes you my boss, boss." Sarcasm dripping down your tongue as you placed his coffee down the table. "All black, two cubes of sugar."
"Thank you. And yes, technically I am your boss, but you're, what, six years younger than me?"
"Seven and a half." You pouted.
You've been working at Stohess University for a little over a year now as Zeke Jaeger's assistant. He was the best philosophy teacher, as well as head of the department, and you nailed your internship interview, aspiring to be like him one day. He even taught you Ethics during your masters, and currently you were doing your PhD research under his coordination. The man was a genius in his field, and you didn't dare disappoint him, but your personalities always clashed. He was calm and collected, you were bubbly and all over the place. He was nice and polite, you were sarcastic and rude. Zeke knew you'd make a horrible teacher for children, but undergraduate students would adore you.
"How can you drink hot coffee in this heat wave?" You asked him as you fanned someone's epistemology essay to cool yourself off.
"It's actually been proven that warm drinks hydrate better than cold ones during summertime." He inhaled the scent of freshly brewed coffee before taking the essay out of your hand.
"Whatever you say, boss." You shrugged and gulped on your iced tea, a few glistening amber drops dripping from the corners of your mouth, down your chin and your neck. "Ah, shit." You wiped the tea with the back of your hand, not catching Zeke watching you curiously. "Why did the AC have to break down today of all days?"
"Dunno." He shrugged and immersed himself back into his book. "Oh, I hope you don't mind coming to my place to grade the papers? I don't think you'll be able to focus in this heat. Besides, I want to take a look at your latest PhD chapter." Jaeger told you absentmindedly, eyes glued to the pages in front of him.
"Sure thing–"
"Don't say it."
"Boss."
"Jesus Christ..."
You adored pissing your ex-professor off, but deep down, Zeke couldn't deny the fact that he loved the authority he had over you. You were a very alluring woman, after all, and any sane man would kill to be as close to you as he was, let alone boss you around like he did. And he had the strong feeling you acted like a brat around him on purpose. You took your leave after downing the rest of your beverage, going to the library to borrow some books for your own research.
•°☆°•☆•°☆°•
You rang the intercom and waited for Zeke to let you inside the building, dragging your feet down the hallway, tired from carrying so much shit with you – laptop, books, essays, papers, pens and highlighters – you were a walking, talking stationery shop and one could only wonder how someone with such a petite frame was so strong. Zeke waited in the doorway and took some of your things, relieving the weight as you sighed.
"Coffee?" He guided you to his kitchen.
"Water, please." You plopped on a chair and unbuttoned the first three heart-shaped buttons of your lilac shirt, tiny beads of sweat bundled up at your collarbone.
"You sure? I'll be keeping you up all night." Jaeger laughed. He was obviously talking about the papers, but to you, the sentence had a different innuendo — not that you minded, you had your fair share of sinful fantasies with the older man. Come to think of it, you were wondering why he was single. Zeke was undoubtedly an attractive man, he could have any woman he wanted. Yet you’ve never seen him on a date, never seen a picture of a woman when you accidentally glanced at his phone, never heard him talk about a significant other.
"Hey, mind if I smoke?" You asked, noticing the ashtray on his table.
"Not at all, I'll join you." He sat opposite you, mug of coffee in his hand. You pulled out a pack of pink cigarettes from your backpack and placed one between your lips, pocketing your jeans for a lighter. His hand extended over the table, lighter in his hand, and you slightly bent your head forward, eyes glued to his. You inhaled the smoke, not breaking eye contact, and exhaled with a sigh. Something about Zeke lighting up your cigarette made your little cunt tingle.
"Thanks, boss." The corners of your lips turned into a barely visible smirk. You really, really liked to tick him off.
"Don't mention it." He told you before lighting his own cigarette. What, no comeback? No objection? "How's your paper going?"
"It's... going." You shrugged.
"You haven't written anything in your last chapter, have you?"
"No, I have," you half-whined, "it's just that I can't find my words. I think I encountered writer's block."
"'S alright, we'll figure something out." Zeke pulled a stack of papers from his briefcase and dropped it on the table.
"Wow, no shit you need help, that's a lot of papers." You twirled the cigarette between your fingers before taking one final puff and crushing it in the glass ashtray.
"Told you." He picked his resting cigarette back from the ashtray. "You can do the first years."
"I'd rather do something else." You whispered to yourself, eyes almost rolling at the back of your head.
"What was that?"
"Nothing, boss. First years, got it." Your manicured fingers pulled the stack of papers closer to you. The exams were already annotated according to subject and year and you took everything you needed before shoving them back to Zeke.
•°☆°•☆•°☆°•
You were bored out of your mind, fiddling with the red pen in your hand and tapping your fingers on the table with no particular rhythm. It was already dark outside and you barely finished a quarter of your stack while Zeke was halfway through his.
"Could you please stop that?" He asked you without even bothering to look at you.
"Why?"
"It's annoying."
With a groan you rolled your eyes and stopped tapping your fingers, instead opting to fidget your leg, bouncing it up and down under the table. The wooden furniture shook at the movement and Zeke sighed, putting the pen down.
"I understand you're bored, but if you want to be a professor, this is part of the job description."
"I know, I know, but, like, can we take a break? Please? We've been at it for two and a half hours now and I'm just so bored." You looked at him with puppy eyes and a pout on your plump lips.
"Ugh, fine. What do you want to do?"
"I dunno. Got any board games?"
"Only a pack of playing cards." Zeke shrugged.
"Perfect! Literally anything is better than this. I mean look at what this kid wrote: the ship of Theseus ARE a thought experiment. Can you believe it? How can a nineteen-year-old not know proper grammar?"
"Careful, Y/N," he chuckled, "you made a pretty embarrassing error during your masters, too."
"Nooo, don't bring that up!" You got up and walked to the freezer, scanning the contents.
"Why not? It's funny."
"Yeah, for you." You rolled your eyes. "But I still proved my worth." You triumphantly told him, tongue playfully poking out of your mouth from behind the freezer door. Ugh, you were so cute, made to be ravaged. Your eyes settled on the single raspberry popsicle and you picked it up, closing back the door. "Can I have this?" Oh, he knew exactly what you were doing.
"Of course."
With Zeke's approval, you unwrapped the plastic, revealing the rose-tinted dessert, swirling your tongue around its tip. You were a sight for sore eyes, (not so) innocently licking at the popsicle, your gaze on him and his growing bulge. He didn't even bother hiding it, instead relaxing in the chair and drinking you in. It was no mistake that Zeke invited you over, and you weren't stupid enough to believe it was a mistake.
"Do you... want some?" You trailed off as the once cold dessert began melting from your hot lips.
"If you'd be so kind." He patted his lap and you accepted the invitation. His bulge was comfortably uncomfortable against your ass, and you put the popsicle onto his lips, one arm draped around his shoulder. Zeke's tongue moved languidly around the sweet snack and you leaned in, your own tongue licking both the dessert and his lips. It was sticky and saccharine and sinful, and your poor pussy couldn't take it anymore.
"Do you wanna fuck me, daddy?" You naively asked him. He wasn't surprised in the slightest by the name, already suspecting you had daddy issues, in fact counting on it.
"I very much do." His hands were already roaming your body. The popsicle was almost gone, and you deepthroated the last bit, taking the little stick out of your mouth with a pop. Finally, he crushed his lips onto yours and you could tell he had experience. You dropped the stick on the tiled floor, twisting your body to better straddle him. Zeke unbuttoned your shirt as you slowly began grinding your hips against his bulge, earning a groan from him. "Ugh, you bad girl." He threw his head back as you loosened the tie around his neck.
"Are you going to punish me?" You slowly, too slowly unbuttoned his shirt.
"What’s the point of a punishment if you’re going to enjoy it?" He mused, unclasping your bra. You had goosebumps all over your skin and Zeke took one of your nipples in his hot mouth, a hand pinching your other one. You whimpered at the slight stinging sensation
"Does it m-matter if I enjoy it?" His touch became rougher, almost animalistic.
"Of course," he stopped sucking your swollen, oversensitive nipple, "otherwise you won't learn your lesson." You got up and turned around, your back against him, taking your jeans and underwear off, bending down and exposing your cunt to him. "You're going to be the death of me, Y/N." Zeke shook his head, removing his own trousers.
"Allow me." You tucked your fingers behind the waistband of his boxers, pulling them down as you kneeled in front of him. His throbbing cock tapped your face after finally being unleashed from its textile cage.
"I suspected you were big, but this? This is too good." You sneered at his member, mesmerised by its size.
"Just shut up and suck it." Zeke pretty much commanded you and you wet your lips, pressing your tongue against the velvety tip. You worked your way around his shaft, enjoying this more than you should've. You pulled back, a string of saliva and precum attached to your lips as you looked up at him.
"Am I doing good, daddy?"
"So good." He grabbed a fistful of your hair and pushed your head back. You eagerly sucked and slurped until he got bored of your mouth around his cock. Zeke pulled you up, spun you around and bent you over the table. He brought your wrists together and tied them up behind your back with his tie before taking a step back and admiring the view. Ass up, face down, just like he loved it. His foot pushed yours to the side, spreading your legs for him before he gave you a good slap over your ass cheeks. You shot up with a moan but his hand forced you back down against the table.
"I think I know exactly how to punish you." Zeke announced, two fingers spreading your folds as his tongue dove inside of you, lapping at your wet cunt.
"Oh, God!" You groaned in pleasure. No man has ever eaten you out like he did. Most guys did it as a chore. Zeke? He was enjoying every single bit of it, passionately fingering you, his tongue moving in ways you didn't think were possible. "Ah, fuck– so good! Daddy, please! I'm coming!"
The way he venomously laughed told you that no, you were not going to come any time soon. Just as you were about to let loose, Zeke stopped, removing his fingers, another slap on your ass. Tears pooled at your Y/E/C eyes, frustration written all over your face. "No, no, no!"
"I told you, Y/N, you're a bad, bad girl." He bent over and whispered in your ear, his cock pressing against your entrance, his hand in your hair.
"Oh, pleaseee, I need to come! Will you let me come?"
"Hm, it depends." Jaeger straightened his back, hands resting on your hips. "Did you learn your lesson?"
"Yes, yes, daddy, I did! I promise I'll be good!" You tried to turn around to look at him, oblivious to what he was doing behind your back, cheeks crimson, droplets of sweat on your forehead.
"Convincing enough." He shrugged and you heard the condom snap against his cock.  Unexpectedly and without any warning, the man thrusted into your wet cunt and you, again, shot up, but he pinned you back. "Stay fucking put, you little whore." Zeke demanded and you tried, you really tried, but your body had a mind of its own. "I see you refuse to learn."
"No, no, please!" You slammed your face onto the table, squishing your cheek in the process, desperate and helpless.
"That's better." He concluded, sarcasm dripping down his tongue as he rammed his cock deeper into you. The silken walls clenched around his hard member, and he grunted, no other woman pleasing him like your tight pussy did. "You like it when I take you from behind, you filthy slut?"
"Yes– oh my God, YES!" You bucked your hips against his for more pressure and pain.
"What would my students think if they saw you getting fucked like this on their papers?"
"Ah– I don't c-care!"
"What would the headmaster say if she knew you fuck your superior and- ugh- coordinator?" Jaeger thrusted harder and faster.
"Please, Zeke-"
His hand found its way to your neck, tightly squeezing it.
"Wrong name, Y/N."
"Shit, daddy!"
"That's right, I'm your fucking daddy and hell will freeze before someone else fucking touches you!"
"Fuc-k, fuuuck!" You both howled and panted as you climaxed, your entire bodies quivering. Zeke pulled out of you, carefully removing the rubber from his cock and giving you another slap on your perky ass cheeks. You stood up, arms still tied around your back, turned on your heels and pecked him on his cheek, giggling like a schoolgirl, marvelled by the fact that he chose you over anyone else.
"You know what, Y/N? Now that I've found you, I'm never going to let you go." He promised.
"I'm all yours, boss."

🥡 pairing: crush!hyunjae x fem!reader 🥡 wc: 3.2k 🥡 genre: fluff, university au, slice of life 🥡 tw: none? i think? 🥡 synopsis: as you are talking to Chanhee, your crush appears in the lecture room, leaving you with a hammering heart. 🥡 a/n: it's already Monday again, so posting time!! i wrote this because i kinda miss uni without covid, I had such a good time back in 2019 😩 feedback is always appreciated!! <33 🥡 requested: yes, thank you! i hope it's good enough!!
╰☆☆☆☆╮
“Have you done the readings we were supposed to?” Chanhee whispered in your ear as you turned on your computer, the screen remaining black made you frown as you quickly glanced at your friend, hand deep in your backpack to find your charger.
“Wait, let me guess. With the abandoned puppy eyes you're giving me, you want me to summarise what this was about, am I right?"
“Please Y/N, I didn't have time this week, it has been so hectic! I promise I'll buy you a coffee," you waved your hand in front of your face to let him know that he didn't need to, and you leaned your arm under the table to look for a plug while summarising what you had understood to your friend.
He listened intently until his eyes looked over your head, a smirk forming on his mouth. You frowned for a split second but continued your explanation, noticing that the smile didn't want to leave Chanhee's face. You deeply sighed, trying to make your friend pay attention, but it was to no avail. He was busy looking at something else.
“Are you listening to me, or am I talking to my computer?” you asked, and your friend returned your attention to you, his puppy look made you shake your head and roll your eyes. He looked behind you one last time, and you turned around in frustration, your breath getting stuck in your throat as you discovered what was amusing Chanhee so much.
You did a double-take when you noticed the man standing at the entrance, your pulse quickening as your hands became sweaty and hot. Every student around you, including Chanhee holding your arm to hear the rest of your explanation, disappeared from your field of view. You only had eyes for the one who stole your heart without realising it.
Hyunjae pushed the lecture door open and held it out for the group following him, politely nodding at the blushing girl that thanked him. He pursed his lips and scanned the auditorium, trying to find a familiar face to sit next to. The air was stuffy and odorous, the young man cursing the caretakers for not ventilate it more often as he was almost sweating because of his outfit. His white turtleneck and pants, as well as the lavender sweater, were thick enough for him to be warm to walk from his apartment since it was still quite chilly in the morning, but he felt like he was wearing winter clothes in the middle of a heatwave when he entered this room.
“Wow,” you murmured under your breath and looked down on your phone, trying to hide your attraction for him from your friends around you, your right hand holding your head up, hiding your eyes at the same time. You heard Chanhee mockingly exhale through his nose as he noticed you munching on your bottom lip, a habit of yours he had caught a glimpse of you doing when you were stressed or embarrassed. In this current case, you were both.
Tugging on the collar of his white turtleneck, Hyunjae sighed in annoyance as he walked down the first few steps. Cursing himself for arriving so late, he sighed as the only remaining seats were in the first few rows, where he had almost 99% of the chance of getting chosen by the professor to answer a question. He dropped his bag from his shoulder onto the table as he looked at the rows again, his eyes immediately discerning the funny stickers at the back of your computer.
“It won’t hurt anyone if I just check where he is,” you thought, but it was probably the worst idea you’ve ever had because your eyes met his dark, chocolate ones, his eyebrows lifting in relief when he recognised other familiar faces in your row.
“Y/N, you’re drooling, be careful,” your friend Chanhee whispered in your ear, teasing as you looked away from Hyunjae and wiped your mouth as quickly as possible, warmth flooding your veins as you keep your finger pressed on the power button of your computer. Your best friend laughed at your antics, but you turned a blind eye to him and mentally cursed yourself for not being as wary as you thought you were.
“Idiot, how could you be discreet if you made direct eye contact with him?” You shook your head at this thought and took a deep breath, inwardly praying that he would sit far from you as you mindlessly scrolled down through your notes.
“Hyunjae, over here!” Sunwoo stood up and raised his deep voice over all the hubbub of the auditorium, pointing at the empty spot between you and Chanhee. It was reserved for Eric who was running late, but you noticed the vacant seat next to Sunwoo and whined. You swore that the rest of the row was packed when you arrived, but it looked like a spot magically freed itself when Hyunjae appeared. It was as if your friends had planned this behind your back.
“Can I sit here?” A gentle, deep voice said, and you looked up. Much to your dismay, it was Hyunjae. “Uh, s-sure,” you stumbled on your sentence as if it were your first time speaking, closing your eyes and inner face palmed yourself at the mess you had just become in a matter of seconds.
You gathered your belongings and held them against your chest as you stood up and sat next to Chanhee, giving your crush your now empty spot. Placing your bag on the floor, you turned your head to the right and stared at your friends, only to find them laughing and bickering together. Changmin was imitating your bashful answer, and Sunwoo’s smug grin painted on his face as he cheekily winked at you, everything confirming your doubts that this situation was one of their playful plans. You sighed in exasperation and typed the title of your notes on a new document as if the entire situation weren’t bothering you.
“Thanks,” Hyunjae said as he sat down, and your heart skipped a beat when you heard his gorgeous voice that caused the hairs on your arms to stand up. His smile made him ten times more attractive, and your heart seemed to struggle to cope with his beauty.
You tried your best to ignore your crush’s presence on your left as you typed down your notes at high speed, but it was harder than you thought. He was close, too close for you to function properly and pay attention to the lecture, his presence and cologne distracting you. There were times where you could feel his gaze on you when you were typing or taking a sip of water, your hands immediately tensing and jolting under the pressure of his aura.
As the lecture finally finished, you quickly packed up your stuff and zipped your backpack before putting it on your shoulders. You didn’t even bother saying goodbye to your friends as you stood in your seat and jumped on the table of the higher row behind you to escape your group. Kevin tried to hail you by calling your name, but you were quick to pace towards the exit and vanish into the mass of the crowd.
You almost reached the library, your safe area where you always sought comfort and peace when a hand gently caught your wrist, your eyes immediately drawn to the familiar lavender knitted sleeve. You breathed heavily at the warmth of the slender hand, and you turned around to face none other than your crush.
“Gosh, you were walking so fast,” he chuckled as he finally got you, his hold still wrapped around your wrist blasting electricity through your veins. The contact felt pleasant, yet it felt so wrong to be this close to him. “I wanted to ask you something before the lecture ended, but you disappeared,” Hyunjae smiled as his cheeks became the prettiest shade of pink you had ever seen. You shyly smiled, muttering a soft apology, and you frowned, not letting him time to say another word.
He opened his mouth to say something when you drew him behind one of the colossal pillars holding up the second floor as you saw Chanhee’s bleached hair peeking out from an opened auditorium door, spying on you two. Hyunjae looked confused but let you drag him anyway.
“Sorry, what were you saying?” You tried to look unbothered, but your fidgeting hands betrayed you, making your crush smile. “Hum yeah, I was wondering if you wanted to have lunch with me today?” he asked, looking straight into your eyes, a big, bashful smile decorating his face. "I know a good café not too far from college, so I was wondering if-” “S-sure, why not?” you blurted out, and you heard muffled laughs coming from behind Hyunjae.
You both peeked out and noticed your friends piled up on top of each other, trying to listen to the conversation you were having with your crush. You sighed and shook your head in annoyance, tired of the lack of privacy your love life was experiencing every day because of them, Eric laughing even louder for getting caught eavesdropping like that.
A hand landed on your shoulder, and you felt a breath near your ear, making your heart skip a few beats in a row.
“Let’s go before they follow us, okay?” you glanced at Hyunjae, and he looked at you with something in his eyes that made your chest tighten, making the process of breathing troublesome. He grinned at your state and innocently grabbed your clammy hand as you two sped off towards the exit and ran past your friends into the mob.
As you slowed down in the streets, trying to look as civil as possible, you readjusted your backpack strap and caught your breath while laughing, Hyunjae smiling as brightly as you did. He found your laugh so pretty and light-hearted, he felt internally lucky to be part of the reason for it. You went down to the end of the street, still walking close to him, and he paused in front of a takeaway place. Holding the door for you, you shyly thanked him and entered the restaurant, the smell of Chinese food making your stomach grumble in hunger.
“Choose whatever you want, it’s on me,” you turned around and immediately backed up a bit, startled by the proximity of you two. Hyunjae only smiled, and you turned your attention back to the food. “Really?” you asked, and he snickered at your shocked state, nodding with a soft smile on his face. "Gosh, I am so hungry,” you muttered under your breath as your eyes roamed on the menu above your heads, heavily breathing as you were still trying to catch your breath back from the sprint you had just run to escape from your foolish friends.
Relief rushed through your veins when he took the reins and ordered for the two of you, your mouth uttering thank-yous like a mantra, only to have your crush waving it off.
“Y/N, it’s okay, don’t worry about it!” he said, and you stopped to look at him, Hyunjae beaming at you while grabbing the paper bag with your steamy food at the bottom. You quickly seized some napkins and disposable utensils and walked back to Hyunjae, who was already outside, waiting for you. “So, where are we going now?” he said, and you shrugged, looking around you, not knowing anything only outside from the library. “I know a good place, it’s not far from here,” you vaguely pointed to your right, and Hyunjae immediately started walking. “Let’s go before the food gets cold!” he exclaimed and let you take the lead.
It was a small park hidden a few streets away from your university, meeting other students since there was another park inside the campus. Bowing down to pat the grass a few meters away from the artificial pond, you sat down as it was dry, but Hyunjae handed you the food and took out his folded waterproof jacket from his bag. Placing it on the ground, he gestured you to come and sit with him.
“Here, come sit with me, you’ll be more comfortable,” he said, and you obeyed, your knees touching as you set the paper bag down next to you and handed him his food and drink. Your proximity didn’t leave you indifferent, but you tried your best to hide it as much as possible.
Hyunjae noticed your little change of behaviour and found you adorable when you looked away at each of his compliments. Your arms were now touching since his jacket underneath you wasn’t a picnic tablecloth, and you were slowly getting used to his body warmth surrounding you.
As the lunch break went by, you talked about your respective majors, and you joked about the shared lecture of this morning, getting closer and closer to each other. He was kind-hearted and became more comfortable when you were alone, gently nudging you in the elbow when you were about to lift your chopsticks to your mouth, the noodles falling back into your bowl. Wiping your mouth with a napkin, you were quick to nudge him back and laugh, still careful not to stain any of his clothes.
“You… look really nice today. I like those colours on you,” you complimented him, and he smiled at your hesitant voice, taking a sip of soda before answering. “Thank you Y/N, I appreciate it,” you nodded and started chewing on your bottom lip, eyes divagating towards the pond surrounded by plants and flowers. “You look really pretty as well,” he whispered in your ear, and you froze at his words, your heart skipping a beat as he had seized the opportunity of you letting your guard down as you were paying attention to the pond. You offered him a soft smile and took a sip of your drink as well to try and calm your racing heart.
He kept playing with it since he was having fun by making you embarrassed and shy with his compliments and proximity. Hyunjae knew that it was working despite your never-ending tries of hiding it, and he felt proud to have this effect on you. Although it was hard for him to see you chew on your lip like that, he had to force himself not to cup your face and tell you to stop, because he was really tempted to do so. However, when you started scratching your lip with your fingers, that’s when he grabbed your pitiless hand and held it in his.
“Hey, don’t do that,” he said and grabbed a napkin to dab the blood coming out of the little cuts on your bottom lip you had caused out of nervosity.
You guiltily avoided his eyes and searched for your lip balm in your bag before quickly applying some. The temptation of starting again was real when your hand was still cradled in his, your crush not giving a single sign of him being ready to let go of it. Alternatively, he rubbed his thumb over your knuckles as you both observed the pond and the people chilling around you.
Much to your dismay, your little romantic moment was interrupted by the church clock striking thirteen times, announcing 1 PM. You both didn’t pay attention at first, but it was when you couldn’t see a single student around you that you realised something.
“Oh god, Statistics! We have statistics in less than fifteen minutes,” you hurriedly said as you jumped on your feet, placing all your trash in the paper bag. “Oh shit!” Hyunjae imitated you and grabbed the bag from you, jogging to the trash can on the other side of the pond while you grabbed your belongings and quickly folded his jacket. He thanked you, and you left in a rush, under the confused eyes of your neighbours.
Even if it wasn’t too far from your college, you still jumped in the bus that was about to drive off from the stop right outside the park, the doors closing right behind Hyunjae. You sighed in relief as you both made it, and you tightly grabbed the metallic bar as the bus sped uphill.
“I’m glad this bus was here, I don’t think I could’ve walked back up there after our lunch,” you smiled at his words, his hand holding the bar above your heads, his lavender sweater going high enough for you to see his black Gucci belt keeping his turtleneck tucked in his pants. “I don’t know who had this marvellous idea of building the university on top of a hill,” you sarcastically mumbled and pressed the button next to your head as the screen announced the stop.
Hyunjae was the first to jump off the vehicle, grabbing your hand as you were quick to imitate him, the mass of students behind you forcing you out. Your crush followed you like a lost puppy through the different staircases and corridors, your great sense of orientation leading you quickly to the auditorium you were almost late to. You were out of breath when you finally arrived there, right before the clock struck 1:15 PM.
Surprisingly, the rows were practically empty, but you instantly spotted your friends in the middle, some of them still eating while the others were laughing or reading together. Hyunjae grabbed your hand for the nth time today, slowly getting used to this new feeling, and you dragged him towards them, but he resisted.
You looked at him, his eyes scanned the auditorium just like he did this morning and looked back at you with a smile before gesturing over a good spot, a bit higher and further away from your friends. Changmin, with his eagle eye, was quick to notice Hyunjae's lavender sweater and warned your friends, all turning around to observe you and your crush sitting together. Chanhee gasped as he quickly saw you holding hands, gossiping about it to his hyungs. Juyeon just shrugged, unbothered by the situation as he cracked his fingers and neck, getting ready to type.
You noticed your friends smirking at you and hid your head behind your computer screen, Eric leaning back in the vacant seats just enough for him to appear in the corner of your eye, his mouth transforming into a pout to mimic a kiss. You rolled your eyes and groaned, offering him a disapproving look, your antics sending him in a fit of giggles.
Hyunjae smiled at you before looking at your friends, who cooed and loudly gagged when he grabbed your hand and lifted it for them to see. You didn’t know what to do with yourself, embarrassment taking over your body as your friends cheered, drawing attention towards you and your crush, the latter replacing your linked hands on his lap, under the table.
“Why would you do that?” you dared to ask, and you shouldn’t have, your voice breaking mid-sentence made your crush giggle. “Let them be, they’re just happy that their best friend is getting out of their comfort zone. Plus, you look cute when you are flustered,” he said, and the professor started talking, preventing you from answering him.
He just sat there with a satisfied smile on your face, while you were trying not to pass out here and there with your heart beating this fast.

"A Small Ornate Pocket Knife" (Uni AU P. 18)
Yay Astarion isn't in the hospital anymore! And the girls are back to being dramatic!
no tw!
The next couple of days are... odd, to say the least. Astarion was released from the hospital the next morning, and your little ragtag group piled into Gale's minivan to head back to campus. When you all arrive back at the parking garage, everyone gives sweet small goodbyes and well wishes. Shadowheart and Gale still don't speak though. Then again, their eyes say plenty. Wyll tries to break their tension with that natural kindness of his.
"Astarion, Tav, don't worry about helping finish the project okay? We'll all put the finishing touches on everything."
He glances around at everyone as if to say 'Right guys?' and he gets a couple mumbles and murmurs of compliance.
"Right, of course. As if I'd chip my nails trying to help all of you."
It's that common deflection of his, but you can see through the veil for once. He's grateful, yet still nervous. You almost don't hear all the laughter of the group while you study his face, which still looks a little too worn for your liking.
"Tav? Are you alright?"
Astarion's eyes are fixed on yours now. You get a little red in the face, but nothing too noticeable.
"Yep! Just spaced out, my bad. We headed back to your place?"
"You know I told you I can take care of myself Tav."
"Yes, and then I offered to stay with you today anyways to make sure everything's alright."
He furrows his brow slightly.
"I despise you."
"Mhm, hate you too."
You exchange light smiles as you walk behind the rest of the group. Shadowheart interrupts the soft moment, yelling back to you guys.
"Astarion! Are you still going to make it to Halsin's party this Friday?"
He scoffs.
"As if I'd miss a good chance to dress up and drink."
You had almost forgotten about Halsin's party. He invited you despite your previous affair with each other, and told you to bring along all your Ravenguard friends, which of course included Astarion. It's hard to focus on holidays like Halloween when you spend the night in the hospital, but it will be nice to look forward to something fun for once. After all, getting to see Astarion all dressed up...
"TAV!"
Apparently, Shadowheart is still yelling.
"What?!"
"I saidddd, are you going too?"
You almost roll your eyes, but show restraint.
"Yes Shadow, I am also going."
"Good! What about you Gale? Maybe you can bring your girlfriend..."
He doesn't respond at first, simply sighing loudly.
"Babe, just-"
Karlach's attempts at taming her feisty partner fail.
"What, worried she's too old to hold her liquor? Or maybe the sex isn't risky enough, considering you probably can't even knock her up."
"Shadowheart that's enough."
"I'm just saying, having a Professor at a student party might be a little bit-"
"I said that's enough!"
Thankfully, you're back at the dorm now, which allows Gale to storm off. You decide not to get involved, leaving the rest of the group to go up to Astarion's room.
"And I thought I was catty."
He smirks while opening the door. You hold it for him and walk in after, and proceed to watch him take off his shoes and empty his pockets onto the small kitchenette countertop. There's his keys, a fashionable wallet, and a small ornate pocket knife. You pick it up and flick it open while he lies on the beaten-up couch across the room.
"This surely is a nice knife."
He looks up for just a moment to see what you're talking about.
"Of course. If I'm going to defend myself, I'm going to be stylish while I do it."
"I guess I just didn't know you carried one."
He doesn't respond, leading you to sit on the floor next to the couch.
"So, is it time?"
~~~
Close to an hour later, you and Astarion are sitting in front of his laptop, checking various social media platforms.
"I think we did it. I think supermodel Astarion Ancunín has officially been dissolved."
"I think you're right. One last thing to do I suppose."
He takes out his phone and goes to look through his contacts, until he's met with 'Cazador.' With a few shakey taps, he gets to the blocked button, and eventually puts his thumb down. He then drops it on the floor. You wait for a moment, giving him space to process the decision he's made just now.
"Do you really think it'll work?"
You close the laptop.
"I... I don't know. But we have to try. We just have to try."
"I haven't had the energy to try for a long time."
You expect tears to fall, but nothing comes. He seems peaceful.
"Then I'm happy I could help."
Once again, you linger on each other's eyes, and you study each and every hue that his have to offer. Time stands still, as silly as that sounds. No modeling gigs, no assignments, no senseless drama, at least for this moment. You lean in a little, and he reciprocates. For once, you find a hand traveling to his hair. He's so close, and maybe it isn't so hard to explain after all. Maybe-
And then your phone rings.
"Who the hell..."
It's Karlach.
"Go ahead, you should take it. And thank you, for all your assistance darling. It's been much appreciated."
You quickly walk out of the dorm and answer the phone.
"God damnit Karlach, this better be important!"
You smiled softly at the present in your hand as Levi drove to his mother’s to tell her the news. You hugged the presented before gazing over at Levi. “Do you think she’ll like our gift?”
“I know it.” Levi chuckled as he pulled up outside his mother’s home. “Trust me.”
You let out a long sigh. “I just want her to be happy.”
“My mum is going to freak out. She loves babies.” He got out of the car and helped you out on your side. “She loves you so much. Trust me, she’s going to be so happy. I will warn you though, she might cry.”
You blushed a bit. “Right…”
Levi grabbed the suitcase from the boot with his and your things. He led you to the front door and pressed the bell. “It’ll work out, okay?”
You puffed out your chest. “Yes!”
He kissed your forehead. “Good girl.”
Kuchel threw the door open. “My babies!” She yanked you into her arms. “I missed you.”
You hugged her back as you giggled. “Missed you too.”
She let you go and smiled softly. “You are glowing! My goodness, it is lovely to see you both!”
Levi gave her a little hug. “Good to see you too. We’re looking forward to a winter break with you.”
“Me too, but I am sad you didn’t spend your birthday with me!” She huffed. “You two running off together for it.”
Levi walked into her home and sighed. “Ma.”
“Don’t you ma me!”
You watched her put her hands on her hips. You knew she was going to pout as Levi does and have a toddler tantrum like Levi would when he wanted your attention. “Mum? I have something for you.” You handed over the present. “You’ll like it.”
Kuchel looked down at it. “Present?”
Levi placed his hand on her upper back and moved her along. “You should sit down.”
Kuchel sat and opened the present to see a cute onesie for a baby. She lifted it as tears filled her eyes. “So cute.” She looked over at you. “You’re pregnant?”
You smiled at her. “Yeah. They’re due in July.”
She opened her arms. “Oh! Come here and cuddle me!”
You sat on the sofa next to her and gave her a big hug. “We wanted to be here to tell you, so sorry it took us a while.”
She swayed with you. “This is so wonderful.”
“Fuck me!” You all turned to Kenny as he grinned. “Did I walk in on a fucking love fest? What the fuck is going on?”
Kuchel pointed at him. “Watch your fucking language!”
“That’s rich coming from you.”
Levi let out a long sigh, leaned over the back of the sofa, and picked you up. “They’ll be at it for a bit. Come on.”
You hummed a laugh as Levi carried you and the suitcase up to his room. “Hey, Levi?”
He sat you on his bed. “Yeah?”
You hugged your legs. “What are we going to do about housing? Having a baby is expensive and we’re starting a business.”
Levi stopped unpacking and paused a moment. “That was something I was going to bring up with my mother.”
You nodded. “You’re serious about living with her.”
He sat with you and held your hand. “We’ve talked this over, but now’s the time to talk it over with her. I am sure she’ll welcome us with open arms.” He turned his head and kissed your shoulder. “Don’t worry, I’ll make sure we have a lock on the door.”
You giggled. “Thanks.”
He hummed in thought. “I think they’ve stopped butting heads.” He held your hand and pulled you downstairs to see Kenny and Kuchel were having a drink. “Hey, Ma? Can we talk?”
Kenny smirked. “Trouble in paradise bud? It’s called Viagra.”
Kuchel smacked him in the chest. “Shut it. Don’t talk to my son like that. Besides, everything works fine for him because he got his fiancée pregnant.”
“Oh shit, really?” Kenny threw his arms open. “Congratulations! I’ll get you a gift!”
Levi growled. “Don’t steal a fucking thing.”
Kuchel pulled you away from the men. “I wish you lot would stop your damn swearing and winding each other up.” She smiled softly at you. “Can I get you anything at all? Would you like a nice snack or maybe a drink?”
You shook your head. “I’m okay. So, we need to talk.”
She sat you on the sofa with her. “About what?”
You gulped hard as Levi argued with his uncle, you wished he was here to support you but you were on your own with such an important matter. “Um…well…the baby will be expensive for Levi and me.” You rubbed your belly. “He wants to start a business too. I won’t be able to work for the first year of our baby’s life.”
She nodded and placed her hand on your thigh. “Yes.”
You sighed. “Well, we won’t be able to afford a place to stay…I umm…no…we were wondering if we could possibly live with you here until we are financially stable.” You ruffled your hair. “I’m sorry, this was something Levi was going to help me talk to you about. I feel awful asking you. I mean, I’m just the girl who is going to be your daughter-in-law who got pregnant and probably fucked up Levi’s future.”
Kuchel pulled you close and held you as you cried. “Hush now. You haven’t fucked up my son’s life. You have made him blossom into something wonderful. You are wonderful and I love you so very much. I am so glad that you walked into our lives. You have made this world brighter and have brought this family together. You have done nothing wrong. It must have been so hard to ask me about living with me.” She kissed the top of your head. “You are welcome to live with me for as long as you need to. My home is your home.”
You rubbed your tears away. “Really?”
“Really.”
You sniffed a little. “Thank you.”
Levi hurried over when he saw you crying. “Bunny!? What’s wrong!?”
Kuchel cuddled you. “She asked me if you could both live here after university and when she’s had the baby.”
Levi gulped hard. “Shit. I should have been here. I’m sorry.” He sat next to you and rubbed your back. “Thanks, mum for being so wonderful.”
She winked at Levi. “You are welcome to stay here, you’re always welcome.” She called your name and looked down at you. “Have you talked to your parents?”
You nodded and sniffed a bit. “We saw them and stayed with them for a week before we came here. They know about the baby and are so excited. They offered their home to us, but they live far away from where Erwin and the others will be. Your place is closer.”
Levi held your hand and smiled. “They are happy to help us out as much as possible and would love for us to live there, but it seems my plans are causing issues. My business has stopped her from being with her parents. Living here would mean I could run the business with Erwin and bunny and our baby bunny could be supported.”
Kuchel clasped her hands together with a soft smile and tears in her eyes. “I’d love to help out. You’re welcome to live here! I will contact your parents as much as possible and welcome them here!”
You smiled at Kuchel. “Thank you.”
She clapped her hands. “I can’t wait to meet your baby. Do you have name ideas?”
Levi pulled you against him and smiled as you cuddled him. “Yeah, Evan, Claude, Lilly and Yuki. We can’t decide. We had a much longer list, but we managed to get it down to those four.”
You grinned. “They’re so cute.”
Levi kissed your forehead. “They are, aren’t they?” He cuddled you tightly. “I’m sorry I wasn’t here for you.”
“It’s okay. Kuchel is wonderful, sorry I mean mum.”
Kuchel winked at you. “I’m always here for you both, okay?”
You nodded. “Thank you.”
She hummed in thought. “I think that we should have something fun for dinner tonight. How about we have some nice sloppy joes for dinner.” She laughed as Levi grumbled. “All right, Mr clean boy. We’ll have hot dogs.”
Levi smiled at his mother. “Hot dogs sound good.”
Tumblr media
Levi frowned a little as he stared at the cot he was putting together. He shifted the instructions around and huffed a bit. “Darling? Help?”
You sat down and looked them over. “Oh, I get it. I’ve got this, bear. You go unpack some clothes.”
Levi flopped onto his side and whined loudly. “But bunnyyyyy.”
You fitted the cot together. “You gonna lie there and have a strop?”
He pressed his face against the baby blankets and huffed. “No.”
You rubbed his back. “You sweetheart.”
“I just want to help.”
You offered him a few things and guided him as he put the last bits of the cot together. You clapped your hands and smiled. “Well done!”
Levi stood up and packed the bed tightly. “I can’t believe that in July there will be a little baby in here.”
You hugged Levi from behind. “You’re getting a bit stressed, my love.”
He placed his hand on yours before releasing a long sigh. “I know. I just want everything to be perfect.”
“Perfection is not achievable. You know very well it’s subjective and it can mess with your head.”
He turned around in your arms and held you. “You are so smart.” He swayed with you. “I’m so lucky to have you.”
“I’m the lucky one.” You leaned up and kissed him. “You’re everything to me.”
“Mm, my sweet bunny.”
You giggled as he kissed your neck. “Levi.”
“LEVI! HEY SHORT ARSE! COME DOWN AND SEE ME MA BOY!”
Levi growled in annoyance. “Tch, fucking…” He sighed and tapped his forehead against yours. “Calm. Relaxed. Happy.”
You kissed the end of Levi’s nose. “Let’s go see what he wants.” You held Levi’s hand and pulled him along and went downstairs to see Kenny with a big grin. “Hey, Kenny.”
Kenny threw his arms out. “Give us a hug.”
Levi pulled you behind him. “Fuck. Off.”
Kenny lowered his arms. “Spoilsport. Anyway! I have a gift for you both!” He stepped out of the way to reveal a pram. “Ta-da!”
Levi glared at his uncle. “You fucking stole it, didn’t you!?”
“I didn’t steal it. I bought it. I actually bought it.” He rubbed the back of his neck as he blushed a little. “My workshop and garage are doing well and I was gonna spend the money on some useless shit, but since hearing that my nephew is gonna be a daddy I thought I’d contribute. I fucked up with your childhood, I know that, but I refuse to do that again. I wanna help.”
You walked around Levi and looked the pram over. “This is incredible. Thank you, Kenny.” You hugged Levi’s uncle. “This is so sweet.”
He blushed when you kissed his cheek. “Ah, shucks.” He ruffled his hair. “So cute.” He cleared his throat and handed Levi the receipt. “Proof.”
Levi looked it over and shook his head in disbelief. “You really did pay for this…you spent a big bonus on us?”
“Yeah.”
Levi offered his hand. “Thanks.”
Kenny shook his nephew’s hand. “Anytime. As long as your little lady is happy. She’s a peach.”
You grinned at Kenny. “Thank you.” You bounced up and down. “This is such an amazing pram.” You welled up a little. “It’s perfect.”
Levi pulled you into his arms. “Shh, it’s okay.” He chuckled a little. “You’re adorable.”
You pressed your face against Levi’s pecs as you whined. “I’m sorry.”
“Don’t be sorry, okay? You’re a happy little bunny.”
You clung tighter to Levi. “I’m hungry.”
He petted your head. “I’ll get you something to eat. Kenny, do you want anything?”
Kenny smiled. “You want me to stay for lunch?”
“Sure. You are family and I am thankful to you for helping us out.”
“I’d love to buy more if you let me?”
Levi sat you down and handed you a glass of chocolate milk. “If you want to then I won’t stop you. It’s really kind of you to do all this.”
Kenny sat down next to you and smiled softly. “Wanna see something cute?”
You sniffed and nodded as Levi made lunch. “Sure.”
Kenny got his phone out and then showed you a picture of Levi as a little kid in Kenny’s arms with a big grin from both of them, Levi had a tooth missing. “Kid was so proud he lost his first tooth. We used to be as thick as thieves, but I messed up.”
You held Kenny’s arm. “You looked like you two had fun.”
“We did. Shit, I taught the kid how to play rugby, took him to matches.” He chuckled and showed you pictures of Levi at matches with Kenny. “Took him fishing as well.” He smirked at a picture of Levi looking disgusted with the worms in a tin of mud for fishing. “He hated the whole bug thing.”
You giggled as you admired Levi in the pictures. “So cute.”
He stopped on the last picture of him and Levi together, it was Levi was a teen and he was about to go to a ruby match he was playing in. “It was an important match for him and I left that day and didn’t come back for years.”
Levi put food down in front of you and Kenny. “We won that match and got a trophy.” He leaned on the counter and sighed. “I was so excited to show him, but at the end of the match, he was nowhere to be seen. I waited for him for over an hour, but nothing. Mum noticed I wasn’t home yet and came to find me sitting alone in the rain holding a trophy that had lost its meaning.”
You welled up at the thought. “Oh…oh Levi.”
“I felt abandoned.” He locked eyes with his uncle. “Unwanted. Hell, my own fucking father didn’t want me and suddenly my uncle didn’t.”
You got off your seat and hugged Levi as he cried a little. “You are wanted. You’re so deeply wanted by me and your baby.”
Levi squeezed you. “All I know is, I will never walk out on you and our children.” He sighed. “It sounds shitty of me, but thanks for teaching me how not to be and also how to be supportive. Even though you left me, I still learned a lot from you and I know because of you how to support my kid’s goals and ideas.”
Kenny smiled. “Well, I’m glad I could teach you a few things.”
“Thank you for being there. I know it’ll take time for us to repair a few things between us, but we will.”
Kenny cleared his throat and rubbed his tears away. “I’m glad you want to.”
Levi sighed. “Well, you, mum and my fiancée are the only family I have.” He smiled and rubbed your bump. “Soon there will be one more.”
You smiled. “And more after.”
Levi hugged you tightly. “That’s right.”
Kuchel entered her home with a shopping bag in hand. “Oh, hey you lot.” She smiled brightly. “What’s going on in here?” She gazed at the pram. “Kenny, did you steal this?”
Kenny sighed. “No. I bought it.”
Levi smiled. “He showed us proof. It’s amazing of him.”
Kuchel hummed a laugh. “Proud of you big brother.” She lifted her bag and grinned at you. “I have things for you. Come with me as the boys bond.”
You followed her into the living room. “Is it more baby things?”
She sat down with a big grin. “YES!” She opened the bag and showed you a few onesies and little toys and blankets. “I just had to get them.”
You hugged a little bunny to your chest. “These are perfect Kuchel, thank you.”
“You don’t mind the rabbit theme, do you?”
You shook your head. “No! Not at all. I mean, Levi calls me bunny.” You smiled at the bear things too. “Oh, and bears. Levi’s my handsome bear.”
Kuchel giggled. “He’s a very handsome bear.”
You played with the bunny a little as you gazed at its little black eyes. “I’m sorry if this is shitty of me for asking, but what was Levi’s father like?”
Kuchel smiled a little. “He was a nice man. He was just so handsome and had an incredible motorbike. He was this bad boy and I rebelled against my family and dated him. He showered me in love and he promised me so much, but as soon as I told him I was pregnant he just…he vanished. He sent me things, so I think he’d run off to be a better man but he ended up in an accident on his bike and didn’t survive.” She sighed. “I found out a lot about him after he died. He was a cheating asshole, but at least he cared a little bit.”
You shuffled closer and hugged her arm. “Sorry I brought it up.”
She smiled and kissed your temple. “Don’t be sorry, okay? I think it’s good to talk about these things. I know Levi will be a good father to his kids.” She smiled softly at you. “He will never ever leave you, okay?”
You nodded. “I know.” You smiled a little as you thought about Levi. “He’s incredible because he was raised by a fantastic mother.”
Kuchel blushed hard. “Oh, you.”
You hummed a laugh. “It’s true.”
“Thank you. I know you both will be fantastic parents.”
You smiled a little and ruffled your hair. “We’ll work together and try hard. We’ll have fun too. I think it’s important to have a fun playful family.” You let out a long sigh. “Can I talk to you about something? You said I could come to you about lady things.”
She glanced over at the boys. “Gents, could you do me a favour? I’ve forgotten a few things for tonight’s dinner. Could you help?”
Levi walked over and leaned on the back of the sofa. “Sure. What do you need?”
She typed away on her phone. “Texted it to you. Could you both go?”
Levi stared at his mother before glancing at you and knew you wanted to talk in private. “Sure thing.” He kissed your temple. “Love you.”
You smiled back at him. “I love you.” You waved to both guys as they left. “So, I’m having a problem with a professor. I’m getting this bad vibe from him and Levi is too. I’m trusting this woman instinct I have. He’s too kind, too close, too touchy and too cosy with me. I’m worried. I have this gut feeling he’s going to do something to me, like touch me or threaten me. I’m scared that if I say something, he’ll do something to our grades.” You turned to Kuchel and held her hands. “What am I going to do? What if he threatens Levi?”
Kuchel hugged you tightly. “You fight. Do not let him win.” She pulled back. “You report him and you fight back, okay? If he goes for your grades or threatens Levi, you don’t stand for it, okay?” She sighed. “Don’t let people like that win.”
You nodded. “Yes. You’re right. Thank you. I’m not imagining things, am I?”
She cupped your face. “Trust your gut, okay? It’ll help you out more than you know.”
You let out a long sigh. “Thank you. I will trust my gut with him and I will stand up for myself.”
“Good girl.” She leaned closer. “Also, record on your phone. You’ll need evidence, okay?”
“Got it.”
She smiled. “Make sure you talk to Levi, okay? Now, go take a nap.”
You stood up. “I promise I’ll tell him.” You returned to your room and cuddled up on the bed and napped. You squeezed Levi’s pillow and hummed as you dreamed about the man you were going to marry. You smiled when you felt a gentle touch on your back. “Mm.”
Levi sat on the bed and moved your hair from your face. “Hey beautiful, you okay?”
You inhaled deeply. “Yeah. I um have something to tell you.”
“I’m all ears.”
You lay on your back and explained to Levi what you’d talked to his mother about. You lay there in silence for a bit. “I just…I trust you and I love you, I just needed a lady’s opinion.”
Levi leaned down and kissed you. “Don’t be sorry, okay? I understand. Thank you for telling me though. I will stand by you, okay?” He cupped the side of your face as he smiled. “I’ll stand by you.”
“Thank you.” You nibbled your lip. “Hey, Levi?”
“Mm?” He smiled as he gazed at you. “What’s up?”
“I’ve been thinking…why don’t you talk to our baby?”
Levi’s eyes lit up. “Yes!” He shifted down the bed and kissed your belly. “Hello, baby. Daddy is here to talk to you.”
You played with Levi’s hair as you smiled. You felt your heart flutter as he kissed your belly and told your baby many stories. You felt such a deep love for Levi and hoped that this issue with your professor wasn’t as bad as you were thinking it was.
Tumblr media
You made notes during the debate of your club. You smiled softly as everyone got excited about their ideas as they watched the video footage of a criminal talking and denying their crime. You kept the professor in your view at all times. You were nervous about him being so close to you, but thankfully Levi always kept a reassuring hand on your thigh.
Tim ended the video. “Well, that is all for today. Thank you for coming.” He called your name. “Could you stay behind? I want to discuss your essay.”
Levi kissed your cheek. “I will be right outside, okay?”
You nodded and squeezed his hand. “Okay. Just look at our baby’s scan.”
Levi’s eyes lit up. “Baby.”
You waved bye to Levi and waited for the group to leave. You made sure to turn on the voice recorder on your phone. “Is something wrong with my essay Professor Lightman?”
He sat on the best and smiled. “Tim, please and nothing at all, but I do want to talk about a few things you brought up.” He placed your essay down. “You were reviewing actions of groomers and predators of women.”
You nodded. “Yes. I think they show certain signs when they are after a woman.”
He smiled a little. “What inspired you?”
“I’d rather keep that to myself.”
He chuckled and placed Levi’s essay down. “I want to talk about us.”
You gulped hard. “What about us?”
“Well, depending on what you say will determine how I grade Levi’s essay.”
You shook a little. “I don’t understand.”
He leaned closer to you. “He has ruined your life, so I’ll ruin his for you. You deserve better, you deserve a man and I am a very mature man perfect for a mature woman like you.”
You stood up quickly as he reached for your chest. “Don’t touch me. I don’t want you to touch me. I don’t want you either. I am engaged and in love with Levi.”
“I will fail Levi if you refuse me.”
You stared at Tim. “Are you serious? Professor Lightman, you are talking about blackmail.”
He tilted his head and eyed your body. “There’s just something about a young pregnant woman that’s so sexy.”
“Sir, this is highly inappropriate. I am not interested in you. I am not interested in sleeping with you. I don’t want you.”
He stood up and walked closer. “Just try, okay? You might like it.”
“NO.”
He chuckled. “Such a tease.”
You gritted your teeth. “For a man who reads body language and teaches it, you’re terrible at reading mine. I am incredibly uncomfortable, I’m flinching away from you, I’m backing up and I’m recoiling. I am clearly rejecting you physically and with my words. Please, stop this and leave me alone.”
“I’ll fail him.”
“I’ll report you!”
He rushed you. “You wouldn’t dare! The others never did!”
You backed up against a wall. “Others?”
“Yeah, the other whores I had. All of them took my offer so they could get good grades.” He chuckled. “You’re the only one I’ve had to fight for.”
You clenched up when he got too close. “LEVI!”
“Don’t shout for him.”
Levi kicked the door open and growled. “No one touches my bunny!”
Tim backed up and pointed at Levi. “Touch me and you’ll be kicked out of this university so fast. Your life will be ruined. I can destroy your future.”
Levi hurried up the stairs to you and picked you up into his arms. “You could have been a great professor.” Levi carried you down the stairs.
Tim hurried after you. “I will fail you both for this!”
Levi took you outside and sighed. “Are you okay?”
You nodded and hugged Levi tightly. “Yeah. I was scared, but I stood strong.”
“So very strong.”
You pulled your phone out and sighed. You pressed stop on the recording and gripped your phone tightly. “I’m ready to report him.” You gazed at Levi. “You can put me down.”
He placed you on your feet and kissed your forehead. “I’m sorry you had to do this.”
“I’m okay, honest.” You tapped on your phone and smiled at your baby scan. “Baby.”
“They’ll be proud of you.”
You hummed in response. “Yeah.”
He pulled you close and kissed the top of your head. “Trust me.”
You smiled up at Levi. “I trust you.”
“Good girl.”
Levi led you through the university grounds until he went to a building he never thought he’d be in again. He tried to fight the memories of Heather and the problems you had with her. He gave a strained smile as you explained everything to the welfare team. He tried not to get angry when you played the recording. He sat with you as you both filed a report against your professor.
Levi held you when you started crying. “We’re tired of this happening a lot to us.”
Carol nodded. “I am so sorry we keep failing you both as a university.”
“You helped us a lot last time, I know you’ll help us again.”
Carol smiled softly. “I will do everything in my power to fix this. Stay here and we’ll get professor Lightman in.”
Levi hugged you as Carol left with the evidence. “This will be fixed and we’ll live our lives and be better.”
You kissed Levi’s neck and nuzzled the crook of his neck. “I have full faith. Carol fixed this before for us.”
Levi held you for a while and let you fall asleep in his arms. He glanced over at the door and looked out of the vertical thin window as Carol and other staff members came down on professor Lightman. Levi locked eyes with Tim and mouthed ‘fuck you’ to him. He smirked when Tim tried to go for the door, but he was pulled back by security.
Carol entered her office and smiled at you both. “Thank you so much for coming to us. Professor Lightman has been removed from the university and we are going to be investigating him further due to his confession that there are more victims. We will be getting the police involved, so be aware they will want to talk to you both.”
Levi nodded. “We’ll be happy to work with them when they need us.”
“Wonderful. Thank you, both of you and I am so sorry you’ve been through something else.”
Levi stood up with you in his arms as you slept soundly. “Thank you again, Carol. You’ve helped us both out so much. You are a blessing and a credit to this university.”
Carol welled up. “Thank you. You’re too kind.”
He waved to her. “I’ll take this one home to sleep.” He bowed his head to Carol and carried you home. He carefully changed you into comfy clothes and tucked you in. He released a long sigh and changed into his own comfy things. He flopped onto the bed next to you and sighed. “Fuck.”
You woke up after a while and gazed at Levi as he slept. You reached over and rubbed his chest. “Honey?”
Levi opened his eyes and inhaled deeply. “Mm?” He smiled at you. “Hey, bunny.”
You leaned over and kissed him. “Sorry I fell asleep.”
He stretched and moaned. “It’s okay. I picked you up and carried you home. You’re tired and you’ve been through so much, plus you are making our baby.”
You giggled. “That’s right. I love you, Levi.”
Levi wrapped his arms around you as you kissed him over and over again. “I love you so much. It’s all over now. We’ll finish our degree and start working on our business.” He rolled over onto you and pressed his pelvis against yours. “More importantly. I can’t wait to marry you and have our little babies.”
You reached up and played with his hair. “I’m looking forward to what the future holds.”
He smiled a little. “Me too.” He moaned a little as he took you in. “Are you too tired?”
“Not anymore, why?”
He kissed and nipped your neck. “I want to fill your pussy with my cum.”
You moaned in response. “Oh, please do.”
☆ [nostalgic] summer romance!au renjun happy super super super late birthday renjun! find others here: johnny | haechan | taeil | taeyong | mark | jaemin | yangyang | yuta | sicheng | chenle | kun | yukhei | doyoung | jaehyun | jungwoo | ten | jisung
"i don't even like bugs."
jaemin shrugs as he shows his intern pass to the security of the front gates of the botanical garden
he mentions that you're accompanying him today as a visitor and you smile at the guard who pays you two half a gaze
"well i mean - they're butterflies not like cockroaches or anything so have some optimism?"
you don't argue, among your group of friends jaemin is kind of the symbol of optimism. sometimes it's misguided - like now - but you don't want to put a damper on his mood
after all, he's actually here to do a job
you are here on a summer assignment you have to complete for a photography elective you added to your uni program for the next semester
"nature photography" was the highlight of the project, everyone had been emailed a subject to take pictures of while off from school
you had expected maybe the beach, or flowers, or even tourists walking around in floppy hats
when you'd opened the professor's email and saw "butterflies" you had not been thrilled
but you were lucky enough to know that jaemin had scored his current internship at the botanical gardens, and while he was working with his weirdly favorite thing in the world - fungi
he could also get you access to the butterfly garden, a large indoor space for the various breeds of butterflies from around the world, before it officially opened to the public
"the pavilion is over there, i think renjun will be able to let you in."
jaemin says, pointing down a hill lined by pretty bushes that leads to a glass structure at the bottom
you turn to ask if he wants to meet for lunch, but he's already jogging in the opposite direction
you sigh, fishing your camera out of your bag - which is something you've borrowed from your parents because 'iphone photos are not allowed'
they're just butterflies like jaemin said, they're like...cute bugs.
you tell yourself as you get closer, turning the camera on and then coming to a pause in front of the glass doors that have a clear padlock on them
you loop around and try to find 'renjun' - but no one is in sight
secretly a little relieved that you don't have to go inside right away, you try to find a part of the glass structure where you can possibly get a nice shot of some of the butterflies from outside
a lot of the vines and flowers get in the way, so you struggle until finally, you find a spot that's open and peers right into the middle of the enclosed garden
you can see the butterflies, little splashes of colors that fly past you - magnificent oranges, reds, and blues
you admit they're pretty
but they're even prettier because they're not near you
and then something - no someone - comes into your frame
his narrow shoulders are engulfed by an oversized plaid shirt, sleeves rolled up by the elbows.
over the shirt is a gardening apron and on his hands are a pair of worn-out gloves
his profile is hidden by the dark hair that falls in a curtain and ends in a tickle at his jawline.
one, bright streak of bleach blonde runs through the black.
he reaches out to touch a half-bloomed flower and you watch as the butterflies float on by him
you nearly drop the camera when he turns and locks his gaze with your own
is that renjun? if so im going to kill jaemin! he didn't tell me he was so infuriatingly pretty!
without knowing how to talk to him through the glass, and because the words disintegrate in your mouth, you point to the camera
"jaemin's friend?"
oh, you can hear through the glass
"ye-yeah!"
"one second."
the sound of a click and some scuttling turns your attention toward where the door to the garden opens for a swift second, just enough for renjun to step through, before it closes again
probably to make sure none of the butterflies get out
you grip your camera and when renjun doesn't move, you make the small trip over to him
"jaemin said you're here for a project."
renjun speaks and his voice is softer when it isn't muffled through glass
"for my photography class in the fall, my subject is butterflies."
"what kind?"
your eyes get a little wider with confusion
"what kind?" you parrot
renjun's neutral expression doesn't change
"what kind of butterflies? there are over seventeen thousand species of butterflies - we might not have the species you are looking for."
"i-" you stammer, wondering for a split second if renjun is joking around, "there isn't a specific species it's just....all of them?"
renjun tilts his head as if that notion doesn't really make sense to him, but shrugs and turns toward the door again
"im going to open it quickly so just follow me."
you make a sound of agreement, but when renjun pulls the handle and steps inside.....and you can't move.
the door closes behind him with a sound that makes you jump and renjun turns to stare at you through the glass with a furrowed brow
"what are you doing?"
he doesn't bother opening the door again and you shake your head as a shiver runs through your shoulders
"a-actually is it ok if i stay out here?"
"i thought you needed to take photos?"
"i can take them from here - this lens is r-really good."
renjun doesn't seem to be buying your excuse, but he checks his watch and nods, before disappearing back into the middle of the indoor garden
you take a second to try and figure out what happened - am i scared of going inside? is it the butterflies or is it renjun?
you decide it's the butterflies.
renjun's just a boy - you aren't scared of that, but the thought of being somewhere covered with bugs
pretty bugs or not
is kind of ..... scary.
you pick your camera back up and circle back to your original spot
although renjun is nowhere in the focus, you are delighted to see some butterflies have come to nestle among the plants in view
you bring up the camera and take some shots
one butterfly is sitting directly on the leaves - big grayish, blue wings spread open and engulfed in the sunlight that shines through the glass
you zoom in on it, capturing the full expanse of the wings that stand out on the green
you get so invested you hardly notice the door open up again and then a voice speaks from behind your shoulder
"it's a pseudozizeeria maha."
you don't turn around and just stare at the butterfly still
"a wha- what?"
"a pale grass blue. they're native to south asia but are really common here too. they were first discovered by vincenz kollar, an austrian entomologist."
the sentence nearly makes you dizzy, but you thank renjun for the information
not seeing the small shy smile that casts over his lips when you do
you want to turn and show him the shot you took, but he's already stepping past you to the other side of the pavilion
the time sort of slips away from you before you can check it again and you only leave when jaemin comes jogging down from the greenery to whisk you off for lunch
"should we invite ren-"
you start, but jaemin is already twinkling eyes and nonstop talking about all the fun fungi he's spent his day with.
when you're back home you start to look through the photos you took
most of them aren't super great and the shine of the sun reflects on the glass
you know the only way you're going to get a perfect shot (or at least an acceptable one for this dumb summer project) is if you go inside the actual butterfly garden
sighing, you click to the last shot and are surprised to see that in the far left corner you see renjun's hand - gloved and in the palm of it is a small butterfly that has landed just in time for your shutter to go off
the rest of renjun is out of focus so you can't even see his, very pretty, face
isn't it weird, that he can be around them so easily and im so scared?
you zoom in a bit and wonder how nice it would have been to get a clear photo of the moment. that would be something you could definitely submit to your professor.
before any more thoughts of renjun can float through your mind, your phone pings and you look to see jaemin's contact name
did you get your shot? you can come with me on my next shift if you want to take more photos
you type back a reply before you can even think of it in your head
really? then I'll tag along :) want to take some more photos
jaemin confirms and then sends another paragraph talking about mushrooms and leaves and plants
and you giggle because he's funny and passionate, and also
guess i might see renjun again?
it's hotter than you can put into words the next time you show up at the butterfly garden
you're standing outside in the absolute sweltering heat and maybe the thought of possible colder temperatures inside the pavilion are tempting
plus - renjun is in there - he had waved at you when he saw you standing outside again
this time his apron thrown over a short sleeve shirt and some long jeans
he had motioned toward the door but you had just played off that you were ok outside. burning alive or whatever.
you found the same spot as before, wiping the sweat from your forehead before lifting the camera up in hopes of catching a good picture
but all you see through the lens was renjun, who'd taken the time to roll up the sleeves of his shirt and had seemingly abandoned the heavy apron somewhere inside
his longer hair had been clipped back and he was reaching down to heave a bag of soil up and over his shoulder
oh my god. oh my god. oh my god.
you are caught between taking a photo and just aiming your lens somewhere else out of embarrassment
either way, renjun doesn't seem to notice and continues working, saving you from the horror that would be seeing him turn and stare back at you
but this somehow goes on for the entire time you're there
you go to snap a photo, but renjun is somewhere in the frame
it must just be bad luck and timing
but by the time you're sitting at the garden's cafe with jaemin after his shift and you're going through your photos
all of them have renjun in them somehow
"woah i thought your project was butterflies not huang renjun's?"
jaemin jokes, sipping his iced coffee with an overly excited wiggle of his eyebrows
"shuttup - i just....it's because i am taking them from the outside, i need to figure out a way to get inside and just take the photo and be done with it!"
jaemin outstretches his hand
"gimmie your camera, ill go take one"
you snatch the camera off the table and vehemently shake your head
"no. the last time i trusted you with something expensive, you broke it in the first five minutes."
"hey! i thought ipads were waterproof nowadays like technology really hasn't come that far?"
you roll your eyes in response, to which jaemin sticks out his tongue and then claps his hands together in revelation
"why not ask renjun to take the photo?"
"because i don't know him that we-"
with a dismissive wave of his hand jaemin cuts you off
"he's not a stranger - i know him! if i know him, you know him. plus renjun is super careful and responsible - he's my age and ive already heard some of the directors talking about how they'd hire him as more than an intern if he wasn't still in university!"
wow, i mean i always got the impression he was mature, but...
"c'mon, i bet he'll say yes too! he's really nice!"
finally agreeing and promising jaemin you'll ask renjun when you come back to the garden again
you pretend the nervous feeling in your stomach is just because you don't know renjun that well
not because you also happen to think he's breathtaking to look at - and that it's going to be hell trying to explain to someone who knows so much about insects that you're too scared to go inside and take a measly little photo of them
you find yourself at home, with your laptop open, googling species of butterflies because you think you should at least pick one and ask renjun if he can possibly take a photo of that one
maybe your effort will make the conversation easier
maybe he'll like that i know the latin name for a - what was it? gonepteryx cleopatra?
of course, the next time jaemin brings you along - and abandons you with a thumbs up for his mushrooms and fungi - you are frozen still at the entrance of the butterfly garden
like a broken machine - you just re-read the sign over and over again - announcing that the garden will be finally open to the public in a week
and you nearly short circuit when someone clears their throat behind you
turning around, it's of course renjun, and he's giving you a weird look that is already making this whole situation bad
"h-hey renjun-"
"do you want to go inside with me today?"
you swallow and think you should really just suck it up and go inside. the butterflies aren't going to sting, bite, or eat you - but
"a-actually i wanted to ask you does the garden have any.....any um....gonep- um whats the word gonepetry? gonepetri? um-"
without a beat renjun finishes the sentence for you
"gonepteryx cleopatra's? no, those butterflies favor the mediterranean so getting them here is hard."
"right...well actually i was wondering"
renjun blinks
"oh and you can call them cleopatra's if you want. but unfortunately no, i don't have any in the garden."
god ok, how do i pivot this conversation...
"oh that's cute, um actually i also have a question-"
he waits expectingly and for some odd reason as the second's tick by he gets cuter and you get quieter and it is just a huge mess
and you think you should just book it and let renjun think you're a weirdo
when you finally lift up your camera and take a breath
"do you think you could take the photo of a butterfly for me?"
his brown eyes widen
"oh - like the photo for your project?"
"y-yeah. it's just......im really scared to go in there...bugs are not my thing. i know it's pathetic and they're just butterflies but-"
you look down and the sun and renjun's gaze are getting too heavy to handle
"but i just don't know if i can even focus when there are so many flying around....does that make sense?"
the beat of silence that follows is almost miserable but renjun just points behind him and says
"follow me."
the next thing you know you are trying to keep up with him as he walks past the butterfly garden and down a path hugged by greenery
it's way past where you've ever been and you ask renjun where he's going
only for him to insist you hurry up a little bit
before you know it you are both standing in front of a large, open iron gate, and behind it are rows and rows and rows of rose bushes
they range in color and size and the smell that permeates the air is so lovely you suddenly feel like you're in a fairytale
renjun leans closely to inspect a couple and then stops in front of a bush adorned in the brightest pink roses you must have ever seen in your life
"butterflies are attracted to roses, the colors are vibrant and they pollinate them."
"b-butterflies pollinate? like bees?"
renjun laughs, the sound adds to the almost dreamy vibe - with the way it sounds like the lightest piano keys
"yes and look - i can understand that you'd be scared of being inside a place full of butterflies, but here in the rose garden there are only a couple here and there."
he squats down and cups the petals of a flower with such a gentleness
you follow and are surprised to see a butterfly, with bright blue wings, nestled in the center of the rose
renjun flicks his eyes to your camera bag and you immediately understand why he's brought you here
without making too much noise you get your camera out and steady the lens - just one butterfly does not intimidate you like being in a glass, enclosed pavillion full of hundreds
so you can take the photo easily - though just as you click the shutter makes a noise and the butterfly takes off
you pout and look up to see if renjun is startled by the sudden escape of the focus of your photograph
when you gasp and see that another butterfly, this one a bright orange has settled on the tip of renjun's nose
without missing the moment - you raise the camera
and snap another photo, not taking the time to adjust the zoom or anything
just wanting to capture the little miracle
the butterfly seems to recognize renjun's pretty face is not a flower, not that you fault the butterfly for thinking that it was
as it flaps its wings and goes in search of another rose
you brighten up when you look at the preview on your camera
no blur or sun glare! it's a perfect shot!
and you lean close to renjun to show him and he leans in too
and the centimeter distance only dawns on the two of you when you look up and renjun has already turned his attention on you two
a heat spreads up your face, as it does renjun's and you both pull back from the scalding feeling
"i-"
"sorry-"
shooting back up to your feet you kind of wobble in this moment of awkwardness and then renjun asks
"will you use that photo for your project?"
"oh - if you don't want me to i won't, i think i can use the other-"
"you can use it."
he rubs his arm and then locks his gaze back on you
"but does this mean you won't come back to the gardens anymore?"
i guess since my project is done, he's right. i don't have any excuse to come and bother him by loitering around anymore.
you pull your bottom lip between your teeth and give a little shrug
"probably, jaemin's internship ends soon too so-"
"then would you be ok with seeing me- well-"
renjun flusters
which is somehow a shocking different from his usual blank expression of utter handsomeness. the stark difference is loveable and you almost have to stop yourself from falling over.
"well what i mean is would you want to maybe see me - outside of the garden.....like not here but somewhere else?"
"to hangout?"
you grip your camera and renjun half nods, but then you can see he's trying to think of the right word
"yes to hangout and like....but different, like a different kind of hangout."
confusion settles on your face and you are about to ask what he means exactly when someone burst between you two
"there you two are! sorry, was i interrupting renjun asking you on a date?"
jaemin's voice manages to echo even though you're all outside
and you push him playfully as renjun rids himself of jaemin's body weight and huffs
"aren't you supposed to be looking at toadstools are something jaemin?"
"first of all, toadstools are unscientific and not the correct term for a class of mushrooms. so mind your manners, and second - why would i want to miss the exciting moment where you too finally agree to go out!"
you catch renjun's gaze and it's as big and as wide as yours
"w-was that what you were asking, if i would go on a date with you?"
the words shock you ask they spill from your mouth
renjun nods, slowly, and then casts a look at jaemin
"yes. before this one interrupted."
jaemin looks between you two as if he is guilty of nothing
for a second you forget about him and then nod back
"y-yes id love to!"
renjun's face softens and he's about to ask for your number when jaemin claps his hands and the sound probably rattles the earth underneath you three
"amazing! this is truly a moment to remember!"
you and renjun both lurch at him and he laughs as you two tell him to go back to his mushrooms
and yet somehow, you three are all smiles when the day comes to an end because you and renjun have set up a date and jaemin is taking most of the credit for it
that summer, after you send the photo of the butterfly nestled perfectly on the tip of renjun's nose to your professor, is one that stays with you forever
you spend most of it with renjun, whenever he isn't busy with his butterflies, learning more and more about him
the little things like he doesn't like cilantro, he frequently doodles and draws in his free time, and he breaks everything he does down into a meticulous step by step process
you watch in fascination as he organizes his side dishes by the order he eats them, tabs the important dates in his planner, and pins your candid photos in a perfectly straight line above his desk
you know some of his friends call him a stickler, but it's really just another thing you grow to like about him
after all - your birthday gets a special, green tab in his planner. green means extra, extra, extra important
as for the butterfly garden .... you try a couple of times to go in. each time, renjun lists off a million reasons why butterflies are great and docile and not dangerous or scary
but every time you kind of apologize and say you can't do it - which renjun doesn't hark on you for
he just takes your hand and kisses the back of it, asks if you want to go visit jaemin or see the roses again
and as much as you love your friend, there's been too many instances of renjun leaning in to tuck your hair from your face and kiss you, all while jaemin pops up between you two like he's at the movies
and you two have to turn around and shoo him off as he insists he just wants to bear witness to the romance of the century
you and renjun sprawl across his bed, looking up at the ceiling as he finds comfort in counting the stripes on your shirt in silence and you mumble about how the summer is almost over and you won't be able to just be lazy like this with him anymore
the days of doing absolutely nothing
renjun props himself on his elbow and looks at you seriously
"spending time with someone you love isn't doing nothing. it's the act of growing closer."
you almost blurt out that that's the most romantic thing you've ever heard and you are going to cry
but instead, circle your hands around his neck and flip him over to be under you
poor renjun tells his directors he got bit by a species from the culicidae family (mosquito) to try and hide the blotch on his collarbone
and while the directors are impressed with renjun's knowledge of insects, jaemin just gives him the good old finger guns of 'yeah. sure'.
your photograph gets great marks from your professor, who replies to the image with praise about the lightening and angle
and the way you managed to capture both your boyfriend and the butterfly
you read the email to renjun over the phone and can almost hear the blush on him when you say boyfriend
you wonder if the future is going to be as sweet as this summer, can someone like you who is so terrified of the creatures renjun has structured his whole life around, really be the right choice for him
and when you ask renjun this, on the day before your classes officially start in the fall
he says that you don't have to be just like him for him to love you
it's the fact that you're so very you that he feels stronger about this relationship than he has about any other
and who cares that you don't like bugs. it just means that if you live together in the future he can be the one to get the spider under the cup and let it free while you lock yourself in the bathroom out of fear
you giggle at this, your heart beating against your ribs at the thought of a future so domestic with the boy smiling down at you
and the best thing is that future comes to fruition
when a decade later you're waiting for renjun outside of the botanical garden, where he strolls out with his co-worker jaemin whose holding a funny looking pot of yellow-topped mushrooms
"date night for the newlyweds?"
he wiggles his eyebrows the same way he did when you two were in college
you shoo him off with the hand that has your wedding ring on it and you tuck your hand through renjun's
"date night for you and some fungi, jaemin?"
he makes a face at your comment and bounds off in the direction of his car
you look up at renjun who chuckles to himself and pecks your lips in a greeting
"how are the butterflies this year?"
you ask as you two turn to walk down the street
"beautiful - do you think this might be the year you finally visit the garden?"
you scrunch up your nose and mumble that maybe, you'll have to see if after ten years your fear really hasn't gotten any better
he smiles and says you can take your time - ten, twenty, thirty
he'll be by your side when you decide it is time
you stop to look at him - seeing for a moment the flash of the boy with the butterfly on his nose - and smile
"and ill be by your side for anything and everyhing too."
he picks your hand up with his own - your matching rings gleam in the setting sun
"i know, that's why i married you."
My knight in shining armour
Rowaelin month Day 2 - University AU
I literally just finished this. I wasn’t going to write for this prompt but then an idea finally hit me.
The title as usual is bad... sorry
2k words
-----
Tumblr media
Aelin had days in which she hated men. That was one of those days.
After finishing high school she decided to took a challenging course at the University of Terrasen. Her dad, before he retired, had been an airforce pilot. She had grown up going around his base, visiting him when he was back. In doing so, she had become obsessed with planes. As she grew up, her dad had let her get friendly with his engineer and the man had started teaching her all she needed to know about aircrafts. From the basic physics to the more obscure detail of how the jet worked. Aelin had been fascinated. She had started reading all the possible books, and as she got older, her dad’s engineer had also started having her to actually help her in the hangar. In the summer when school was out, she would actually get a part-time job as an apprentice at the base and she had loved every moment of it. She had also become very close with the two female pilots and together they had spent time talking about the life of a woman in a boys club. The two women had become her role models very quickly.
Terrasen was quite and open minded country but some ideas were still quite obsolete.
In high school at the question “what you want to be when you grow up?” She always answered an aircraft engineer for the airforce. She never faltered or never doubted. That’s what she wanted to, that was her path.
But when time for uni arrived and she applied for a degree in aeronautical engineering, that’s when she realised that the boys club extended far more than she expected.
She was basically the only woman in the class. None of the guys had approached her and on the first day she had walked in the classroom, one of them had the guts to tell her that the humanities department was in the annex c. She ignored the bastard and sat down at the front. She belonged in that room and she would prove it to every single one of them.
Day after day she had shown her knowledge and surprised her professor who was amazed at the fact that she could answer such in depth questions. Last time it happened, she had turned to Chaol - the asshole who had told her about the annex c, and gave him a smirk. That had removed his stupid grin from his face. It felt amazing.
During a private one-to-one with her professor she had confessed to him she had been working at the airbase as an apprentice during the past three summers. Her teacher had luckily been very supportive and encouraged her to keep up the good work.
Now, six months in, she still hated with a vengeance the arseholes she had to study with. Some of them even had the guts to ask her for some help after they realised she was actually good. She had answered that surely they didn’t want the help of a woman, and walked away.
After another class it was finally lunch time and she was meeting Rowan down at their spot on the grass. They were a couple. He had asked her out in the summer after high school was over and they had been together ever since. He was a med student and he knew her pain about choosing a challenging degree. Both their degrees were very intense and required a lot of time so they would just try and spend as much time together as they could. They had a flat together but the public library was were they spent most of their time.
And when their schedules allowed it, they would enjoy lunch together, venting about their academical choices.
“I fucking hate that bastard.” She raged, dropping her bag on the grass and sitting at his side, depositing a kiss on his lips. She felt better almost immediately, being in his arms was all she needed to feel okay again.
“What did he do now?” Asked Rowan knowing of her struggles in her classes.
Aelin grabbed her bag and pulled out her food, the dinner that Rowan had prepared the previous night and then packed away for both of them.
“The teacher gave us an exercise where we had to design an aircraft with what we had learned so far.” She told him, while munching away her food “He was up first and his project was a effing disaster. Seriously, I’d wouldn’t want to fly on a plane designed by him.” She took a sip of her water “the teacher asked us to say what was wrong and it took me ten minutes to stop. I mean, a two year old would have done a better job with lego bricks.”
Rowan giggled at her side “then my turn came and the bastard had the guts to tell me that the aerodynamics of my plane were off and that my ailerons where wrong as well and would not allow the plane to function properly. I took my laptop and shoved it in his face and told him to find the error in my math. He had no clue.” Her face turned smug “then the teacher took over and said that actually my project was, among all, the only one that could actually fly. I felt smug as fuck.”
Rowan pulled an arm around Aelin’s shoulder and pulled her to him. He was proud of her. Every damn day.
“Then after class, he threw me a paper plane and inside it had a message saying this is the only plane you will ever build or work on. I swear, the guy is still alive only because I am not looking forward to finishing my degree via distance learning from a prison.”
She calmed down “how was your day?”
Rowan leaned back against the tree “I had anatomy and physiology. Today we covered the endocrine system and it must be one most boring of them all.”
“Well,” she added with a big smile “when you cover the reproductive system you are welcome to practice with me…”
He laughed and squished her to her chest “I am a very big fan of your… bits.” She kissed him deeply not caring that they were in public, she wanted him and hated that they had more classes before being able to go home and then alas, study more. Maybe for one evening they could study something different.
“Aelin?”
“Yes, buzzard?”
His tongue gently teased her and she opened for him while his hand brushed off a rebel strand of hair.
He pulled back “Nothing, you had tomato sauce on you lips. I was just wiping it off. Did you think I wanted to kiss you?”
Aelin gently punched him on the shoulder, in return he gave her a massive grin. Rowan was a very reserved man who struggled with stranger, but she had her own version, the goofy one, the one who made jokes and loved to cuddle with her. She would treasure that version forever. That was just for her.
They were busy chatting away and she was showing him on her laptop the exercise she had been working on and her plane prototype and although what she was saying was greek to him, he still listened to her in fascination.
She was telling him how a plane flew and the four forces when a figure stopped in front of them.
“It must be exciting to brag with your boyfriend about your hopeless projects.” Said the man.
Rowan raised his eyes and finally saw the face of the man that had been making Aelin’s life miserable.
“What did you just say?” Rowan stood and towered on the brown-haired man by twenty centimetres. Chaol also looked frail compared to Rowan’s muscular frame.
“Chaol, you’d better go.” Not that she cared about the man, she just didn’t want Rowan to get into trouble for a petty man.
“You’d better give up while you still can, Galathynius. Aeronautical engineering is not a field for a woman.” He crossed his arms at his chest trying to look intimidating but the look in Rowan’s eyes told her it was a useless attempt. Her boyfriend was ready to attack. She knew he had never hit anyone, but had a feeling that if Chaol didn’t stop it could be a first for Rowan.
“Chaol,” she stood as well and growled his name in warning.
“Oh, so you are one of those arseholes who believes that certain jobs can be done only by those who were born with a penis. It’s the fucking 21st century. Grow up, idiot.”
Rowan swore, alarm bells rang in Aelin’s head. He only swore when he was extremely mad, something that her unflappable boyfriend rarely was.
“Oh look, Galathynius, you have a knight in shining armour.”
Aelin moved between Rowan and Chaol, trying to separate them when her boyfriend moved a step closer to the other guy.
Chaol chuckled “Did you sleep with every professor—” but Chaol never finished his sentence. She saw the scene develop in slow motion in front of her. At those words Rowan’s face had turned feral and as on instinct his arm moved and a second later his fist found its target in Chaol’s face.
Rowan then grabbed Chaol by the collar and lifted him up slightly “You take it back, immediately or I’ll smash all the twenty two bones in your skull.”
“Go on,” said Chaol, nursing a broken lips.
Aelin stopped in between and grasped Rowan’s hand gently “Put him down, Ro, he is not worth it.”
Her gaze then turned to Chaol “now you go back to whatever shithole you came from and perhaps go back working on your project and design a real aircraft.” She moved closer to him “I know what the fuck I am doing. And I know I will have a job in the airforce after this. You will just go back being daddy’s little spoiled boy.”
Chaol glared at her and Rowan finally let go of him, bur before he fully released him he pulled the man close enough that his mouth was near his ear “you disrespect her like that one more time and you’ll finish your degree from a hospital bed while sipping your food from a straw.” Rowan flashed his teeth in a threatening gesture “you leave her alone, because if I hear you have been a bastard to her one more time, I will make your life a living hell.” And eventually released him. Chaol shrugged his t-shirt back into place and walked away without adding another word.
Rowan sighed and then turned to her, his expression back being soft as soon as she looked back at him.
“You didn’t have to punch him,” she said while snuggling against his chest. His arms quickly around her.
“Yes I had to. What he said….” She felt him tense up again “he made me so mad, fireheart.”
“Seeing you thump him was very sexy,” she kissed him gently on the lips “my knight in shining armour.”
Rowan chuckled and looked into he blue eyes “you don’t need a knight. You are fierce, brave and strong and do not need any protection,” he added, his lips on her head. Nesting under his chin was her favourite position. They fit perfectly “I, on the other hand, as a male who is hopelessly in love with you, felt the desperate need to avenge the sullied honour of my amazing other half.”
Aelin giggled hard “you really sound like a knight.”
“Come on, Sir Rowan Whitethorn of Wendlyn, let’s finish our lunch, I have an hour of mechanics of flight coming up and I need sustenance.”
“Yes, my queen,” he said kneeling in front of her.
Aelin laughed and kissed him deeply “maybe I can be your queen tonight in bed as well.”
His smirk grew wider and Aelin felt heat pool at her core at his expression.
“Whatever m’lady commands.”
They finished their lunch in peace without any more interruptions and eventually they parted ways, going to their respective classes.
Chaol did not bothered her anymore. He didn’t even met her gaze and him ignoring her was all she asked. She was there to learn, he could just go and sulk in the afterburner of a jet, perhaps while on, for all she cared.
Aelin texted Rowan a thank you and his reply was a simple To whatever end.
