To fanfiction authors: Please learn what Dead Dove means. There has been a trend, especially will all the new people who have joined over the last few years, to tag fics which are no where close to Dead Dove as Dead Dove. Just cause the fic contains topics which aren't allowed on tiktok or which they think are bad, like Major Character Death, Violence and so one. Which exists as seperate warnings on ao3. A fic is not automatically Dead Dove just cause it deals with those topics.

The overuse of the Dead Dove tag will make the tag utterly useless in the long run and will lead to an increase of censoring from the outside as new people and everyone else will think that everything they do not like is Dead Dove and therefore bad.

Head canon moment between Katniss and Peeta during CF

Imagine this conversation but between Katniss and Peeta after the first games.

Picture them in a random moment during the victory tour, when they are constantly together and Katniss is just thinking about convincing Snow of her love and doesn’t really have time to wonder if her feelings could be actually true.

Of course we know that she’s delusional, so even though she isn’t direct about it she’s always clinging on him so you can connect the dots. (she can’t sleep without him on the train, so I guess that during the ceremonies she doesn’t leave his side even for a second)

Now imagine a moment when they’ve snuck out and they are kissing or doing whatever just so they can stay away for a little. Mid kiss she stops and just stares at him, not a single rational thought behind those eyes other than “oh he’s just so steady and warm and I’m so comfortable and his eyes are so blue”; you know, the silly things she always says.

At the same time Peeta is just watching her and doesn’t understand why she’s looking at him like that. She’s just so cute with her mouth slightly open and looking at him with those eyes that appear like they’ve seen the most precious thing in the world, so for a moment he simply believes that this is true.

But then he remembers where they are, that she’s desperately trying to get over this tour, absolutely terrified of Snow and he feels selfish for thinking, even if for a moment, that she could be feeling something like this for him in these circumstances.

Still his heart is clenching in his chest, so in a moment of weakness he says:

“I wish you wouldn’t look at me like that”

It’s just a whisper so he hopes she didn’t hear, but it’s too late to retract what he just stated when she asks, immediately snapping out of her thoughts:

“Like what?”

“I don’t know”

He says, thinking about how to divert this conversation, but it’s too late, so he guesses he could just say it anyway

“Like you could love me”

Could someone please write a one shot or something based on this? I would do it but this is not my first language and I’m too lazy anyway. IF YOU DO TAG ME I WANT TO READ IT <3

Hi! So for the WIP Tag Game, what about Decay In Your Costumes?

Jason's Bruce-ordered Pit Madness apology tour eventually takes him to Blüdhaven to tag along with Dick until his return to Gotham becomes less weird.

Dick wasn't sure to take it as a punishment or a reward, but he has to admit it's a relief getting help tackling the city by himself.

After a while of their partnership, he leaves a crime scene in Jason’s hands while he goes to deal with something else.

"Hey, Red." Dick ended up calling him, remembering a key piece of evidence he'd seen at the villains lair. "Kind of need something from the place, you think you can bring it here?"

"Hmm." Jason made a face, eyeing the flames licking up the walls of the lair.

Dick held up a hand, rolling his eyes. "Is hmm code for yes?"

"What's it look like? Scratch that, how flammable is it?" Jason ran a hand through his hair.

"Flammable?" Dick frowned at the phone. Then groaned. "Jesus fucking Christ, Jay, tell me you didn't."

"I didn't."

^^So this is a super rough, currently existing actually readable part of the fic. However, the fic is under massive rewrites and doesn't resemble this bit too much aside from the original premise :(
