Oh, with this book you are going to cancel me. I hate it and despise it. 

It tells the story of Celaena or Celina for her friends, who is a professional assassin; some time before she was betrayed and sent to a high security prison, but a prince "hires" her so that she will be his champion in a tournament where the most ruthless criminals compete to be the king's personal hitman.

It all sounds very interesting, doesn't it? Well you are wrong. Nothing happens in this book.

Nothing whatever? NOTHING WHATEVER!

The protagonist is so easy to kill that she is laughable, people swarm in and out of her room while she sleeps, they scare her easily and she doesn't even notice when someone is following her. Her personality doesn't make sense and the villains are very funny, almost cartoonish.

I love puppies, but how does it affect the story that there is one in the middle of a castle and that it belongs to a murderess who can be killed at any moment?

Oh and don't get me started on the other criminals, they are ridiculous. And for the record, no one kills anyone.

Oh and i almost forget, in this ridiculous world there used to be magic and fairies, but not anymore, because the current king killed them all. (I think the king does not need help to kill anyone, clearly).

Cinderella’s re-telling WHERE?
