Various characters on your birthday

A/N: So this is very self indulgent because yesterday was my birthday (yippee!) but I wrote some headcanons with a few of my fav characters from the fandoms I write for. Anyway have fun reading!

Characters: Aro Volturi, Emperor Belos, Elrond, Shadow Weaver, Thranduil

Aro Volturi:

Now, celebrating birthdays in the vampire world is a little bit different. Since most people at the palazzo have been alive for centuries, they don't really celebrate their birthdays every year. It's more like every decade or even every 100 years.

However, if Aro's mate is still human or a newborn vampire, they can expect to have a big party thrown for them. Even if they prefer solitude, they can expect to at least have the family invited. That being Caius, Marcus, Athenodora and Sulpicia.

Aro obviously gets his mate the best gifts. He can, after all, see their deepest wishes with a single touch. His mate had seen something online and thought "wow, it would be nice to have this"? Aro had already added it to the list of possible birthday gifts.

Obviously he would buy them more meaningful gifts as well. For example, maybe the mate absolutely loves a certain book series, well Aro would commision someone to make them a special edition of the books.

His mate can expect to find love notes and poems all over the place on their birthday. Aro is a gifted writer and he makes sure to capture all the things that he admires about his mate. Which is pretty much everything. Seriously, he can barely name anything he doesn't like.

The entire day is planned carefully by Aro and he intends to go through with his plan unless something absolutely crucial needs his attention. In that case, he promises his mate that he'll make up for being away.

Aro will ask them to dance with him to their favorite songs. Whatever the song may be, he would find a way to dance with them.

It brings him great joy when he sees how his mate has so much fun. Especially if they are holding his hand while doing so. Aro loves it when he can bury himself in their mind.

When the day is coming to an end, he takes them to stargaze outside of Volterra, somewhere not that affected by light pollution. They both would look at the stars and hold hands while doing so. Aro would whisper sweet nothings in their ear, possibly slipping into other languages while doing so.

His mate can definitely say that their birthday was amazing, if not the best birthday they ever had.

Emperor Belos:

When it comes to Belos and celebrating birthdays, he actually prefers to not have a grand party for his beloved. He just thinks it would serve no reason and a private dinner or something similar means far more than anything else.

That being said, he is actually... hardly torn away from doing his Emperor duties. He must prepare for the Day of Unity after all. But after enough begging, he decides to humor his partner for a while.

I'm not saying that he didn't get them gifts, because of course he did. Belos is the type of person to hand-craft presents instead of buying them. He just feels it's far more personal that way.

Belos being the old fashioned man that he is, he writes them a heartfelt letter. As heartfelt as Belos can be of course. He would reminescence of their first date and the moment Belos realised he loved them.

Somehow the entire castle found out of their birthday, so the s/o can expect getting birthday wishes from most of the guards. Some (like Lilith, Kikimora and Hunter) even give them presents. Lilith and Kikimora just want to suck up to Belos of course, but Hunter's is more personal. After all, it's his uncle's lover.

As much as Belos denies it, he loves having matching things. So his beloved would get something for their birthday that matches something he owns. Perhaps it's a gadget he uses often, or a piece of clothing that he loves; he would get them something similar.

This day is the ONLY day he would allow them to wear his emperor outfit. Belos would watch them try to imitate him and would laugh along. After the day is over though, he makes sure to tell his s/o that they got their emperor-outfit-wearing priviledges revoked.

Obviously Belos knows everything on the Boiling Isles, which means that he knows all of the secret places that are just absolutely mesmerizing. He might just surprise his beloved with a trip to one of these places.

I believe at night, once the both of them are in bed, Belos would share some of his fond memories. That is probably the most sentimental his s/o had ever seen him. It's sort of a birthday present of sorts I suppose.

Now, if his lover REALLY wanted to have a big party, he might be convinced. He would use that to manipulate the Isles into believing that he is a kind man, but he would also just want to make his beloved happy. Belos is just a tiny bit twisted like that.

Absolutely the type of man who would ask for their s/o's hand in marriage on their birthday. I can just totally see that happen.

Elrond:

Oh Elrond, beautiful Elrond.

Now birthdays are a bit questionable for elves as well since... well, they are immortal. But, whenever Elrond and his beloved would celebrate their birthday, the elven Lord would make sure to make it unforgettable.

Elrond plans the whole day of course (if his s/o agrees into the planning).

First, they would wake up and receive breakfast in bed. Elrond would stay with them the whole time, smiling down at them as they eat. After that he takes them on a walk in the gardens where they would talk for hours.

If someone happens to "accidentally" play some music in the distance, Elrond would ask his lover on a dance. They would talk while doing so and laugh along when they accidentally trip and fall in the grass.

After the walk in the gardens, Elrond takes his s/o back to the main halls and leads them to a room that is decorated just for them. There awaits them Elladan, Elrohir, and Arwen with smiles on their faces. All of them would give Elrond's beloved a gift while the Lord waits patiently.

Elrond's gift wouldn't be too grand but it would be meaningful. Most likely it is something he made with his own hands. Like if his beloved wears jewellery, he would make them something out of their preferred materials. Since courting is taken very seriously for elves, I believe they wouldn't commision anyone for a piece like that like humans would. The elves make important gifts themselves as it's more meaningful that way.

After a joyful lunch with music involved, Elrond brings his s/o outside to celebrate with the rest of Rivendell. It's a very carefree party where the elves play music and dance around with or without the s/o.

Once nighttime comes around, Elrond will get them away from the party and bring them to a clearing where they can watch the stars in peace. The stars are very important in an elf's life, so why not spend the last hours of their birthday looking at them.

Elrond would tell his beloved how much he loves them while in the comfort of the stars. He would also describe their relationship using great many metaphors.

At the end of their birthday, they walk back to the party and dance the night away.

Shadow Weaver:

We all know how Shadow Weaver loves gardening, right? Well, she would obviously put together a lovely bouqet for her s/o. It consits of their favorite flowers, or if they don't have any, flower in their favorite colors.

Shadow Weaver would wake her lover up by gently caressing their face and wishing them happy birthday once they open their eyes. After that she let's them eat breakfast before giving them the bouqet. It has a little note attached to it that is enchanted so it sparks little fireworks once it's opened.

Now, the sorceress is actually not that sure how to act in this situation because, let's be real, she did not partake in many relationships before. So her s/o will have to excuse if she's being a bit awkward.

She would get her beloved a cake, as suggested by Glimmer. It would be their favorite flavor and most likely would have frosting that is their favorite color.

Because Shadow Weaver is not very big on letting her feelings show, she wouldn't really give her s/o a speech about how much she loves them but she would try to write some of her feelings out in a form of a letter.

Once the s/o is ready, she will take them to her garden that is decorated just for them. It's more colorful than usual, but it still stays in the theme of the sorceress' taste.

Shadow Weaver would then lead them to a table that is decorated by candles. They would drink tea or something her beloved likes while talking. While outside, some residents of the castle would walk by to wish them happy birthday, especially Glimmer.

Once they're done with the little tea party, Shadow Weaver takes them out to a clearing in the Whispering Woods. There she reveals a picnic set up just for her s/o. While sitting and eating, Shadow Weaver finally gives them their present. It's something very personal.

The rest of the day consists of Shadow Weaver and her beloved watching the sunset and enjoying their picnic.

Thranduil:

Once again, the elves are a bit different about birthdays but Thranduil sure does throw a big party. Wine for the whole realm and dancing all night.

But before he gets to that, he makes sure that this day is the best day his s/o has ever had.

Thranduil wakes his beloved up by whispering to them and wishing them happy birthday. He let's them have breakfast in bed, while he eats beside them. After the breakfast he gives the plates to a servant while they stay in bed for some more quality time.

When they finally get up, Thranduil takes them on a stroll in the garden. They walk around, simply talking. Once they found a place where they could sit down, Thranduil gives them their first gift. It's a very personal gift that he made himself (much like Elrond).

While his s/o is looking at the gift, Thranduil whispers in their ear in elvish, explaining just how much he loves them. They stay there for some time before heading back to the palace.

Legolas would wish them happy birthday of course. If he likes them enough, he might make them a little carving of sorts and give it to them.

Thranduil showers his beloved in other types of presents as well. If they like wearing jewellery, he would get them something that matches his. Perhaps his s/o would like another sword? Something that fits them perfectly but also just so happens that matches Thranduil's weapon?

Once Thranduil and his lover had finished with the gift giving, he takes them to the dining room where an exquisite lunch/dinner is prepared for them. Some elves are playing music while they eat.

When they finish, they go to celebrate with the rest of the realm. Thranduil opens up the wine barrels for everyone to drink and all of the elves dance around while singing songs.

The Elvenking obviously would ask to dance with his s/o while most likely already drunk. His partner can also expect to hear a speech from him that is adressed to the entire realm. He talkes about how important his beloved is and expects everyone to respect them as such.

If his lover is more anxious, then he swoops them away from the party to dance alone in a more secluded area. After all, he only wants them to feel great on their birthday.

The day most likely ends with the drunk couple entering their chambers and laughing as they fall on their bed. Alternatively, if his lover isn't one to drink, Thranduil still gets pretty drunk and his s/o can deal with a far more affectionate King.

See, you had what the scientists longed for… True Immortality. That was your peculiarity. You weren’t a simple child anymore, and if had gotten harder and harder to conceal with time. So out of preservation of both your lives, Alma had forbid you from coming to see her in her loops. It was letters only.

But once you’d heard of her loop nearly being damn near destroyed… You couldn’t help the urge to run into the arms of your lover to see if all was well.

You had heard from a friend that Miss Peregrine and her peculiar children had found a new home near New Zealand. So you travelled there and lo and behold, you found the rumored loop and house corresponding with it. You entered and walked through the front gate.

And next to the front door, talking to one of her children, stood the one and only, Alma Peregrine. You suddenly felt all childish again. You’d broken her only rule. But you didn’t care enough about that right now.

As you stood there from afar, mouth agape at your lover, Alma sensed something in the air had changed. You had started to walk up the front path to the house, when her gaze caught yours. A myriad of emotions washed over face.

Anger. Sadness. Pure joy. A little lust…?

As you walked up the house steps, Alma sent her child inside.

Before she could say anything, you began, “I know you told me… not to come… but…” you found yourself a stuttering mess, “but then I heard about you almost getting killed…?! And I just thought that I needed to know you were alright…”

Your gaze met hers as you hit your lips and blushed, unsure what she would do. Suddenly, it was like something broke inside the raven haired goddesses eyes. You gasped lightly as you were suddenly in her tight embrace.

“I was so worried for you…” she whispered.

Your eagerly returned her hug. Her lips peppering kisses all over your face and neck.

“Me? I was worried for you… Are you safe now…?” You whispered.

She nodded and pulled away slightly, growing more distant all of a sudden. Her gaze becoming darker.

“Love…?”

“Even though we’re safe now… You still broke the rules, my dear…”

Your breath hitched slightly. Light blush crept up your cheeks as you apprehensively nodded in recognition of your disobedience.

“I might do something I’ll regret…” She warily warned you.

Afterall, she hadn’t seen you in ages. And now she was getting a chance to lay hands on you once more. At her full Control. She wanted to check in with you first.

“I don’t care.” You whispered, “Use me. Fuck me. Edge me. I’m yours.”

At that, she smirked and nodded, her hand crept up your shoulder, as she brought her lips to the shell of your ear.

“Second floor, last door on the right…” she husked, “Be a good girl and tie yourself to the bed posts…”

Your breath hitched yet again.

“Yes mistress…” you whimpered, scurrying into the house and up the stairs.

You didn’t even register to explain your presence to her children, whom you passed along the way. Luckily, Alma had you covered on that front. As you stripped and dug around her closet for her signature black lace ties, Alma explained to her children a bit about you and your presence here.

When she came into her room, you were struggling in tying your second wrist to the bedposts. You’d already ties both your feet and your left wrist. The raven haired beauty chuckled lightly, and shutting the door, she came over to you.

“Let me help you, dear…” she purred, easily tying your wrist to the bedpost.

You and she both knew this was the nicest she was going to get tonight. After that, her tone and gaze went straight dark. The kind of darkness that made your thighs clench and your breath shallow… She then moved to the edge of the bed, taking in your entire form.

“You broke the rules…” she repeated, this time with an sharp edge to her tone.

You gulped.

“I did, mistress.” You whimpered, squirming under your restraints.

She hummed in satisfaction of your recognition.

This Ask appeared in my inbox back in the day when I let it slip Caius has his... preferences in terms of mates and bedmates. So, here are the headcanons that go along with that.

Well, I am a firm believer in the fact that Caius at one point had to 'hunt/chase' Athenodora early on on their courtship too. Spoiler alert; he did not accept her as a mate at the beginning and when he finally came around she proudly proclaimed he had to work for it in order to gain her companionship. It probably took them a couple of decades before they would both call one another husband and wife.

However, in order to elaborate some more and have fun with the character; I will pretend he has decided to hunt/chase a vampire in this day and age—with all of The Volturi's power at his disposal.

There is a part of Caius he tries to bury beneath a veneer of being the most serious out of the kings, a part of him that has survived since his newborn days. You see, he spent many years catering to his every whim and indulgence; inviting death and pleasure into his undead life with equal measure.

One of the bonding activities he would indulge in with a new or potential mate is definitely going on a hunt for food. These days he is cooped up in Volterra more than he would like to be, so indulging in a cat & mouse chase with his lover? One that certainly will end with him watching his mate drink their fill? Oh sign Caius right up.

Now if his mate had decided they want to be the one to chase Caius? The king will be quiet for a couple of minutes, seemingly looking them up and down and wondering if they would be able to do such a thing. But a soft smirk will soon enough grace his features before knocking back his glass of blood-wine and standing up from his seat.

“If you have no interest we can go back to— ” “Do not hold back.” “Caius?— ” “If you have decided to hunt me I expect a chase more thrilling than any other.”

𝐍𝐒𝐅𝐖 𝐂𝐎𝐑𝐍𝐄𝐑: When it comes to mixing this sort of indulgence with carnal activities, he will gladly chase for as long as he needs to. But his mate needs to be aware of the fact that wherere ever Caius catches them, is where he will have his way with them.

For what it's worth, I do not think Caius would never indulge in these tendencies with a mortal. Us humans are simply too easy prey for a vampire like Caius, it would not be very entertaining for our dear king.

So, after seeing this post by @the-most-pathetic-edge-marquis, I ended up going through the Illustrated Guide a bit more thoroughly to look at the ages of all the Twilight Vamps when they were turned. It's a bit creepy honestly, and the woman the woman is for sure not trying to hide her knks with these mostly teenagers.

And i dunno, quick fic info sheet if it helps anyone 🤷‍♀️

Carlisle – ‘Approximately’ 23. I would like to take the time to mention that people did know the date when he was alive, so the fact Carlisle canonly doesn’t know his exact age is ridiculous. AND ALSO the London sewers had not been created at this time, so how was he killed by sewer vamps smeyer!?

Victoria – Born in the 1550s, transformed late 1560s, at around 18.

James – Born around 1780, turned around 1805, making him about 25. 🚩

There is not really any info on the girl’s mother, Sasha, that isn’t in the books, but the immortal child, Vasilii, she created was 3.

Aro – Ok, so the guide says ‘Born around 1300 BC’ and ‘Transformed around 1260 BC’ But at the bottom of the same page says he was ‘transformed in his mid-20’s’ so ????

Marcus – ‘Transformed before he was 20’ But at the top of the page has his DOB as ‘Around 1350 B.C’ and his date of transformation ‘Unknown’… Like girl can you not do simple math!?

Caius – Late 40’s. But same as Marcus, has a DOB but and unknown date for his transformation.

Sulpicia – Described as a ‘lovely young orphan’ 😶

Didyme – No age, but is younger than Aro.

Athenodora – No real description, was already turned when she met Caius.

There are so many understatements and untold stories in these Twilight movies and books, it's driving me fucking crazy. But purely for the sake of my own headcanons and fictional characters, as well as the lack of information in some parts of the saga, I did a study:

So, I tried to dig up more about who these two chicks are:

If you've watched movies 100 fucking times and still haven't noticed them, then that's absolutely alright.

But if you suddenly do a photo search in Google, then you will be shown the results of something like: Volturi, Sulpicia, Athenodora and other similar shit.

If you are some kind of Twilight nerd, then you probably know that these are the same ladies who, according to the books, have been sitting for centuries in that drug tower.

They look pretty good for that lifestyle, but since they're vampires, it's ok☻️

Most believe that the white one with the perpetually confusing expression is Athenodora (Caius' wifu), and the taller one with the poker face is Sulpicia (Aro's one).

They have absolutely no backstory. It is only known that when Caius met Athenodora, she seemed to be already a vampire. So she may be older than him by many centuries (or not). Sulpicia was found and turned on his own by Aro, according to the book (or guide) she was a young orphan (although in the film she is already a grown-ass woman).

Since not a damn thing is written about them anywhere, one can guess from the names that Sulpicia probably lived in antique Italy (Rome). The name Athenodora is Greek (a gift of Athena, I believe), and it can be assumed that she lived in Attic Greece.

Then, there are the facial expressions of these two throughout the film:

See the difference?

Sulpicia hardly gives a shit about what's going on and stares at the snow most of the time.

Then, there is Athenodora who is ready to have a heart attack from what she saw.

Girlie probably haven't seen snow in 500 years.

It is also worth noting that of the two, Athenodora is the only one who is even a little worried about what is happening:

Sulpicia *I'm a statue, bitch.*

So, the difference in their emotional levels is pretty obvious.

The next step is appearance.

The difference in their hair color and facial features is already seen, so I would like to answer a more interesting question: How tall are they?

Luckily, there is only one scene in the film where Suli is standing next to another background actress whose height is known.

The actress is Rebecca Barras, by the way (she's on the right).

Rebecca's IMDb lists her height as 5'8 (173 cm).

So, with no complicated calculations, it can be determined that Sulpicia's height is approximately 5'9 or 5'10 (about 175 - 177 cm):

Of course, my measurements are skeptical, there is a possibility that the true results differ by a couple of centimeters, but we have at least her approximate height.

Then how tall is Athenodora?

Again, fortunately for us, there are shots where they stand shoulder to shoulder:

If we take as a basis that Suli's height is 5'10, then Athena's height will be about 7-10 cm less, that is, 5'6 or 5'7 (167 - 170 cm).

Further, what else can we find out from those miserable two or three scenes with these two women?

In fact, you can slightly predict their relationship with their husbands and even with each other:

First, a rather remarkable thing, Sulpicia almost never looks at Aro. Athenodora mostly looks at him:

In fact, some may speculate that she is Aro's wife and not the woman disguised as a lamp next to her, but I have reason to deny this theory (and this would also be a very important point between these two girls that many missed)

And I'm talking about this small scene:

Y'all see that shit?

Y'all see that tiny push? 💥👊

Also, follow Sulpicia's gaze after that damn push.

This, it turns out, is the first time she has looked at her hubby in all the fucking time of the battle!

Because Athena wanted her to do it.

This also confirms that the brunette is indeed Aro's wife, because why the hell would Athenodora draw Sulpicia's attention to her own husband?

And secondly, it shows a little bit what kind of relationship they have.

Since they spend together supposedly 24 hours a day, 7 days a week in the tower alone, they don't need many words to understand each other.

Maybe eye contact will suffice?

And here I am talking about this:

Why is she looking to the left??

Do you all recognize this scene? This is the scene where Aro is dramatizes, something like "If we don't fight today, we'll die tomorrow" or something like that.

And all the witnesses are looking at him. Even her bodyguard (behind her). But she looks somewhere strongly to the side. And if you watch the scene to the end, you will see that she does not look away. What is she staring at?

And you will find the answer in the photo above this. I marked the starting positions of Sulpicia and Athenodora. Before the start of the battle, Suli with her bodyguard walks on the left, and Athena with hers walks on the right. From Sulpicia's pov, Athenodora is standing to her left (and quite far away).

So, according to my assumptions, she could very likely be looking at Athenodora.

There is another suggestion that she is looking at Caius, but he is not that far to the left in this scene.

And, after all this endless chatter, I would like to answer the main question about these two ladies...

Are they fuckinn in that tower of theirs?🤔

Hell, who knows!

They spend so much time together (they are guarded of course, but I doubt that the guards are watching while they change their underwear or some other shit), the same goes for Corin. Most likely she is with them only when necessary, right?

So! The hell are they doing there? Looking at the wall? Mm, doubt it.

I don’t know if their husbands pay them visits, but at least they should have some dildos (have a little conscience😮‍💨)

Or else, when they get bored, they can help each other with this.

I don’t know if it’s just a necessity or they really have some feelings for each other (maybe it’s just my fantasy), but when they appear together in any scene, their capes touch a little👀

Caius is judging you and somehow already disappointed. Also this is what i meant by wettest, rattest bastard on my last text post. Idk if anyone will vibe with this design but I love him.

My oc from my fic, Myrtis (with eyes!) is staring at you. But is she really looking at you? Or is she looking past you? She seems friendly enough. Does she have a plan for you? Are you a threat? Are you about to die? Regardless, she'd wear the same expression.

Athenodora doesn't care about you. She's not even looking at you. She's here for her own entertainment.

This may sound sexist but this is twilight vamps we're dealing with. I'd imagine that like you said the Romanians probably wouldn't have the word compromise in their vocabulary. And unless you're a vampire and probably one who has 'been around the block' they'll most likely get you to do what they say or want using various methods...maybe. The average human may not have the push back to disagree.

But I can see them especially Vladimir keeping up with outdated ideals maybe not with physical beauty standards but with behavior or mannerisms he thinks a woman should have especially if you're dating him. I think he's a big believer of your behavior represent you and those around you. Especially since he used to be a leader of most powerful coven at one point in time. I can see him not wanting his mate(reader) to 'associate' herself with those he deems lesser than himself or reader. Like I think he still have a superiority complex from his days of ruling in a way. And he may have this ideology about keeping his mate away from other men to keep her 'pure' or keep her from getting the wandering eye.

Listen, I don't have to tell anyone here that white men in particular gave no fucks what anyone but themselves had to say and deemed everything else unimportant and uneducated. I find it hard to believe that these isolated covens move with the times when half the time they have dated clothes/ clothes you wouldn't see the common Joe wear.

It could just be me but I haven't seen this coat before nor after this character. Don't even get me STARTED on his twin. You just know if they showed up to a modern school like that- they're the weirdos who get bullied.

ANYWAY- not the point. I don't see these guys going from that upbringing, being isolated af for centuries to then seeing everyone as equal. Its just not realistic. They may look perfect but much like humans, theyre not perfect. However I do think there are some differences because I think of this as more of a social difference between species:

I reckon race isn't an issue for vampires of any era. I don't think they care because when a vampire, you're already on the outside of human values and norms. So why try to conform to something that is useless?

As for women, I think this genuinely depends on the person. Carlisle sees Esme as his partner and equal. I think his adoration for her always had that power over him. Not to mention he's constantly around humans so he watches them develop era by era. He can and always does compromise with Esme, if not going with what she wants and will drag the rest of the coven too.

Caius admired Athenodora's strength and is more than aware she could handle herself. However, as her mate, he will always make sure she'll never have to lift a finger nor fear for her survival. It'll never be a question for her and that's how he wants it. He was raised to be the strong man who protects his wife and maintains that to this very day. He'll make decisions and face everything for the both of them. Her safety means everything to him. He'll be nearly impossible to compromise with because he doesn't trust anyone outside the Volturi. Not to mention the number of enemies the Volturi has and the rising tensions.

Vladimir, having lost his mate, upon the situation of having another mate who is female will likely never let them do anything nor out of his sight. He doesn't care if they can think for themselves or cannot. What they want to do or not. He won't compromise on a single thing. It's his way and that is final. It's not that he looks down on them, not intentionally anyway. It's his normal, he was pushed to be this strong man who survives anything and everything because men couldn't be honest with their vulnerabilities or show weakness. He only does what he does because he cares and won't be able to survive such a loss again.

You're absolutely right! I totally agree and would even go as far to say all of the Volturi and the Romanian coven have a superiority complex. Amun too.

Remember: to most vampires, humans are just food and no one apologises to their food before they eat it or care for what the food wants or thinks-or even if it can.

So if one becomes attached, yay! You've moved up a peg in their eyes but it doesn't change that most were raised to be strong and not back down to anything or it shows weakness.

Plus, something that i don't think was covered too well with the Cullen's. Why would a human get their way when they're lucky to be alive to even acknowledge what's happening around them? You don't get to decide when, where and how you die. You just do.

P.S. sorry this took a few hours, I wanted it to have my full attention. I agree with a lot of this!❤️

Hello! I have an interesting idea for a request. So a while back I saw a what if on Reddit about the Volturi kings being interested in possibly making hybrid children like Renesme. I know the kings have their mates, but what if they brought a human to breed lfor the sole purpose of just making a hybrid and then they fall in love with them and she becomes their mate. Could you please write something like this, or similar. Maybe a little nsfw too 👀 If not no worries :D

• — 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐕𝐨𝐥𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐢 & 𝐌𝐚𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐇𝐲𝐛𝐫𝐢𝐝𝐬

Before I reply to anything in this question I will write up a couple of links to understand how I understand vampires and humans to be like in relation to one another ( 1 ) - ( 2 ) - ( 3 )

First I will have to establish one thing; I do not buy that The Volturi does not know about hybrids. This coven is the home to some of the oldest vampires in existence, and if that was not enough; they also have ties to what is most likely the oldest vampire in existence, Amun. There is no way they did not know about hybrids prior to the Renesmee Debacle.

Another thing I would like to point out, is that according to my worldbuilding and how I write these characters — having a relationship with a human is considered weird and unnatural. Especially sleeping with humans are considered inconceivable, there is a reason why they find Bella and Edwards relationship to be weird. So the kings sleeping with a random human woman of child bearing age would just not be possible within my verse and how I write.

Something that is often looked over is the fact that a hybrid pregnancy is exceptionally dangerous for the human mother, from the little details we get from canon — it is nightmare fuel. The only reason that Bella survived her pregnancy is the fact that she had Carlisle Cullen there to make sure she did not die. Most women through the ages who have been unfortunate enough to carry hybrids have not shared the same fate.

The Volturi would never be able to host a human in Volterra for this purpose, the chances of them dying is exceptional. Also, no vampire with their head on straight would impregnate a human they thought to be their mate; it goes against every instinct to protect and take care of them.

And another note; Sulpicia and Athenodora would never in a thousand years be alright with this sort of thing. Athenodora especially would most likely murder Caius for such. Marcus I also firmly believe will never take another mate after Didyme, let alone father a hybrid child.

If The Volturi truly wanted to recruit or learn more about hybrids, they would most likely seek out one that already lives and convince them of their cause, using humans as breeding stock is base in the eyes of Aro, Caius and Marcus Dei Volturi.
