Smells like books, coffee and egyptian cotton. Its just so homey, you wanna wrap yourself up in the scent and stay there forever. I feel like he also occasionally smells like good quality chocolate.

Marc Spector

Smells like cinnamon and vanilla. He also smells like lemon pound cake or something citrus and i cant explain why, i just believe he does.

Jake Lockley

Cigarettes, blood, motor oil, suede and smoke with like a little hint of wax because he's always around the art that vincent creates. The blood scent isn't constant, he showers and it's gone and it's replaced by the woody scent of his body wash and the cigarettes he's always smoking.

Thomas Sawyer

Smells like fresh dried laundry more specifically laundry that is dried in the fresh air? Like luda mae didnt raise no stinky boys. He's also got this natural musk that just melds perfectly with it. Also kinda smells like dirt, like hes gardened and ahhhh just *chef kiss*

She constantly beats Adora up or tries to kill her (ThAt'S wHaT eNeMiEs To LoVeRs Is, NO just imagine Catra being a guy, all would yell and scream to Adora to run away as long as she still can) and in S5 all that changed was that she was no longer at the horde. Even Adoras VA (voice actor) said that Catra and her relationship is toxic and wrong. And Catra NEVER had to take consequences for her actions, when she literally was about to apology to Scorpia the writers just made Scorpia hug her, ignoring the fact what she did to Scorpia. And don't make me start about all the other things she did. Like I was abused too, does that give me the right to abuse others? OFC NOT! Saying she did those things to Adora out of love is romanticizing abusive and toxic relationships!)

Komi can't communicate (I do get the point of social anxiety [I have it myself] but Komi is so oversexualized and it was weird to watch)

Rascal does not dream of Bunny Girl Senpai (I don't like the story nor the characters)

Toradora (It's about f€tizing a girl that has the body of a literal CHILD)

Citrus (Recently rewatched it and it made me realise how problematic it is. They see and call each other sisters while they still make out (uhm...), they're toxic and do things the other never agreed to + all girls are oversexualised and make out with the next girl in reach)

Some spooky themed Tiki drinks to enjoy while watching horror flicks.

Mix #84 Mariner's Ghost

3/4oz dark rum 3/4oz light rum 1oz mango juice 1oz grapefruit juice 1/2oz lime juice 1/2oz allspice dram dash of simple syrup

Shake with ice and pour into mug.

This has a touch of mango,with a strong grapefruit/spicy finish. If you like citrus and spice you'll like this.

Mix #85 The Black Sleep

1oz blackstrap rum 3/4oz gold rum 3/4oz Demerara 151 rum 1/2oz cinnamon syrup 1/2oz falernum 1/2oz lime juice 1/2oz grapefruit 2 dashes Angostura bitters 6 drops absinthe

Shake everything with ice and pour into Tiki mug.

This drink was created by Trader Brandon for his mug of the same name. It's quite an interesting concoction. It starts with cinnamon on the nose,the body is SUPER funky,and it has an absinthe finish. It's also quite strong. If you like Zombies,give this one a try.

Mix #86 Rummy Mummy

1oz Plantation OFTD rum 1oz Appleton Estate 8 or 12yr rum 2oz orange juice 2oz pineapple juice 3/4oz lime juice 3/4oz cinnamon syrup 1/2oz orgeat

Shake with ice and pour into spooky mug.

Created by Biggs Tiki for his mug of the same name,this is a sweet-ish,citrus-y drink with a cinnamon finish. The OFTD also gives it a decent kick. Just the thing for a slasher flick.

Mix #87 Shrunken Skull

1oz Demerara rum 1oz gold rum 1oz lime juice 1/2oz cinnamon syrup 1/2oz grenadine

Shake everything except Demerara with ice and pour into glass. Serve Demerara on the side.

So I just mix it all together since that's how I roll,but if you're into drinks with a shot on the side then do it the proper way. A nice drink,the grenadine helps blunt the cinnamon a bit so it's not so spicy. Of course,you can use 151 Demerara if you want some higher octane.

One of these with a good classic black and white horror flick will make for an entertaining evening. Enjoy.

Brahms

Knowing Brahms, he wouldn't even mind if you just wanted to parade around in nothing but his cardigan, but hey, seeing you displayed like this all for him, it was a bit much to register at first. Leslie

The thing to start with for this challenge is getting Les to actually sit down for more than five minutes to talk to him. It’s not that he doesn’t listen to you, he’s just a very busy and driven guy, always working on his career as an up and coming slasher. He loves to spend time with you when he has some time, but when you walk in wearing that, he’ll definitely stop in his tracks.

In his usual teasing manner, he’d ask you: "Aww man, Y/N, for me? What's the special occasion? Did someone die? No?" It was endless for you! You were beginning to feel rather silly since he didn't seem interested in why you were sitting there until you tried to stand.

You weren't going anywhere when his hand quickly snatched your wrist, your face already flushed as your heart quickened as you saw him look at you in that way. He wasn't always the most serious outside of his work, but the way he looked at you was enough to make you melt to the spot.

Leslie considered himself an aficionado of you, and seeing you wear something so striking, well it was a huge deal for him. What a treat for him to get to see you like this, all sprawled out just for him, oh he was going to take his time with you.

Like he breaks down the basics and runnings of how it is to be a successful killer, he can easily do that with you. He can read you like a book and knows exactly what buttons to press to make you tick. So of course, when you were trying to keep on top of the game, he easily overpowered you and made you melt like a puddle beneath him. You can always try again next time.

❤️ - Kissing Headcanons

Poor baby is so starved for affection, but it will still take him ages for him to be comfortable with kisses anywhere near his face.

Neck and hands are safest, forehead can be iffy depending on how aggressive his skin is being.

Don’t kiss the mask directly if he hasn’t shown you his face.

Seriously, don’t, he’ll cry. Or rather he’ll storm off to the basement and lock the door and you won’t see him for quite a while.

He’ll only let you kiss him through the mask once he’s taken it off around you and he’s sure you won’t be repulsed by him.

Without the mask, he always starts off shy and scared that this time you’ll flinch. When you don’t he can’t keep his mouth off you, he’ll smother you in messy, unpracticed kisses.

🧡 - Affection Headcanons

Looooooves physical touch as a love language (seriously, this boy is so touch-starved, please hold him), but also likes to give gifts when he can find something which really depends on how the family hunting trips have been going.

The ultimate display of affection with you is him taking off his mask. He’s worn masks since he was a child, that trauma is deeply rooted. He doesn’t even take it off at home around his family. If he trusts you enough to take it off– mind you this could take months of cultivating a relationship– he’s just over, either you’re better than anything he could ever dream of, let alone hope for, or you’re just like everyone else.

Talking!! Thomas can talk, it’s just usually unpleasant for him. Thomas’s condition alone gives him a hypernasality to his voice (too much air escapes from his nose), but even moreso, his scars and deterioration can make the actual act of talking uncomfortable. He won’t say much- he wouldn’t be super talkative even without his scars– but seeing how his voice makes your face light up makes him want to do it more.

💛 - Domestic Headcanons

Literally just likes to be around you all the time? If he’s doing his leatherwork, he’d love for you to just sit in the room with him.

He isn’t fond of reading- and with his mottled relationship to school I don’t think he got a lot of time to learn– but he loves for you to read to him. Even if he isn’t entirely following what you’re saying, he’s enthralled by the sound of your voice.

Wants about 80 kids and that’s lowballing it. If you don’t want kids? Good luck.

💚 - Holiday Headcanons

The Hewitts are incredibly poor, but Thomas still loves Christmas. Luda Mae makes cookies and knits what gifts she can, the whole family meets up and spends the day together (which goes about as well as expected).

Again, Thomas loves to give gifts, he’ll be picking through travelers’ belongings all year to save his favorites for Christmas.

They really go all out on the Christmas roast. Tommy’ll be looking for that perfect meat cut for quite a while in advance, even if he has to freeze it.

💙 - AU/Crossover Headcanons

If Thomas didn’t have a skin condition, his personality wouldn’t be all that different. I think he’d still be very withdrawn and quiet due to his unaltered home life (I will stand by my HC that Charlie is an asshole even before becoming Hoyt)

But, that said, I think he might be stable enough and have enough outside positivity in his life to not be compelled to murder. After all, Thomas’s most deep-set trauma is that people judge, fear, and bully him based on his appearance.

(It would not solve the apprehension have about his fucking size or broody personality or mildly violent tendencies)

💜 - NSFW Headcanons (oops this is long)

Actually, Thomas would probably be ready to have sex fairly soon. But bless him, Tommy is kind of a romantic and would rather know you really wanted him and he’d have to work up to taking his mask off first.

He wants you very early into the relationship and if you’re both desperate enough he might allow for grinding before he takes his mask off.

Once he takes the mask off, it’s maximum two days before he wants to go all the way.

Thomas is big. Perhaps only a little above average in length, but deceptively thick, even relative to his size. Even his fingers are thick.

Seriously:

Thankfully, Thomas is incredibly giving. You’ve made him so incredibly happy and if he can bask in him making you happy, he absolutely fucking will.

Due to the scars and deformities of his face, it takes him a while before he can be both emotionally and physically comfortable going down. But once he is comfortable? Hold on for dear life. You’ll have to fight to get him out from between your thighs

It will take a hot minute for Thomas to realize he won’t break you but if you can convince him to use just a little of that pent-up aggression in the bedroom? oh boy. He loves pinning your wrists and making you feel small under him, but be sure to kiss him lots afterwards so he knows you like it too.

‘Love you.’ He says- his voice is already ruined and strange with his scars and nose, but as his throat tightens it wobbles into truly unintelligible sniffling. ‘Love you, love you, always.’

You kiss him, touch his face- assure him that it’s not his fault.

But when you’re quiet, when you stop leaning into his touch and your eyes go far off and vacant, Thomas Hewitt dies with you.

🤍 - Pure, Fluffy Headcanons

He’s pretty warm, but I think he likes to cuddle with soft things so blanket thief. But if you’re around, you’ll do.

Can, will, and has stolen your stuffed animals so he can hold them

If he wakes up first (which is likely; the Hewitts are a good, industrious family of farmers so they’re likely up before dawn), he’ll spend quite a while just watching you sleep. He’s absolutely fascinated with and humbled by how you can be so relaxed and open with him.

🤎 - Random Headcanons

Luda Mae taught him to sew. He’s skilled enough he could make clothes or toys, but is somewhat embarrassed about being skilled in a feminine hobby-- but he will mend his own clothes, but he prefers his mama do it. Her stitches are still neater than his since he usually works with leather.

Secretly loves radio dramas, but doesn’t care much for trying to commandeer the radio from Hoyt or Luda.

Wait, isn't "anti" stuff more like "anti-pedophilia" and stuff? Like, you have a point about anti-porn attitudes, but from what I've heard just "anti" on its own means against stuff like kid porn and incest porn and legitimately f*cked up sh*t like that.

Okay! So this, I think, is actually a great example of what I was talking about, and a really useful thing to understand. (CW rape, child abuse, etc)

Smarter people than me have written much better essays about why policing thoughtcrimes is a bad road to go down, and I will probably reblog some of them next time they cross my dash for more context. What I want to talk about is the trigger mechanism, the ‘oh, this looks like danger!!!’ immune response in how we look at different kinds of porn, and how that applies to anti culture.

Here’s the thing: I am anti-pedophilia. I think that, for most people, that’s a stance that largely goes without saying! Adults who prey on children are bad. I’m also against incest; relatives who prey on their family members are bad. Above all I oppose rape. Sexual predation of any kind is bad. In fact, I’d say that’s the most important item on the list. There is plenty of room to argue about where the lines are between ‘adult’ and ‘child’ and how teenagers fit in the middle, and there’s plenty of room to get historical about the lines between ethically terrible incest, distasteful-but-bearable “aristocratic inbreeding” between distant cousins, and the kind of consanguinity that tends to develop in a small town where everyone’s vaguely related to everyone else by now anyway. The core of the issue is consent, and it has always been consent. Pedophilia and incest are horrific because they are rape scenarios where the abuser has far more power and their victim far fewer resources to cope, both practically and emotionally; because harm to children is, to us as a culture, worse than harm to adults, for a lot of very valid reasons; and because they constitute betrayal of trust the victim should have been able to put in their abuser as well as rape--but they are all rape scenarios, and that’s why they’re awful.

These things are bad. It is good for us to have a social immune response system that recognizes these things when they’re happening and insists we step in. That is a good thing to develop! It helps us, as a society. It can help the people being victimized. It’s the same reason educators and childcare workers in the US are all mandated reporters, why we do background checks on people working near kids. These things happen, and they’re terrible, and it’s good that we try to be aware and prepared for them. (Though obviously studies show we’re a lot less good at protecting the vulnerable than we’d like to pretend we are.)

The question is: why does that same social immune response trigger, and trigger so angrily, in response to fiction?

Anti culture is fundamentally an expression of that social immune response. Specifically, it’s that social immune response when it is set off by a situation that, while it has some similarities to the very bad real-life crime of sexual predation including pedophilia and incest, is in and of itself harmless.

If you’re instinct is to flare up in anger or dismissiveness because I’m calling these things harmless, I want to ask you to just take a deep breath and bear with me for a bit longer. What you’re feeling right now is an allergic reaction.

Humans tell and read and listen to stories about “legitimately fucked up shit” all the time. It’s part of the human condition. It’s part of how we process those things happening, not just to use, but to other people in the world around us. It’s part of how we process completely unrelated fucked-up shit, playing with fears and furies and insecurities that we all have, through so may layers of fiction that we don’t even recognize them any more, playing with power dynamics in metaphor and making characters suffer for fun. Aside from the fact that literally all stories do this to some extent or another; aside from the fact that drawing lines between ‘ok that’s good storytelling’ and ‘that’s too fucked-up to write about’ is arbitrary, subjective, and dangerous in its own right; aside from all of that, these stories are stories. All of them.

Even the ones about rape, about incest, about pedophilia. They’re words on a page. No real children were harmed, touched, or even glanced at in the making of this work of fiction. This story, pornographic though it may be, is part of a conversation between consenting adults. (And if a teenager lies about their age to consent, that is a different problem altogether.)

Stories in and of themselves, no matter what they’re about, are no more dangerous than a crate full of oranges. Which is to say: utterly harmless, unless all you have to eat is oranges, all day every day, and you find yourself dying slowly of nutrient deficiency--which is why representation matters. Or unless someone wields one deliberately, violently, as a tool to cause harm, and someone gets acid in their eye--which is the fault of the person holding the orange. And unless you happen to be allergic to citrus.

The key here is this twofold understanding: First, the thing that hurts you can also have value to others. Real, legitimate value. Whether you’ve undergone trauma and certain story elements are straight-up PTSD triggers or you just don’t like orange juice, that story, those tropes, that crate of oranges may be somewhere between icky and fundamentally abhorrent--but we understand that that is still your reaction. Even if you don’t understand how anybody could ever enjoy it; even if every single person you surround yourself with is as sensitive and disgusted and itchy about this thing that makes your eyes hurt and your throat stop working as you; that doesn’t make it true for everyone. That doesn’t make oranges poisonous. No real children were involved in the writing of this story. It is words on a page.

But, secondly: the thing that has value to others can also hurt you. Just because a story isn’t inherently poison doesn’t mean it can’t cause you, personally, pain. That’s what a PTSD trigger is: an allergic reaction, psychological anaphylaxis, a brain that’s trying so hard to protect its own from a threat that isn’t actually present (but was once, and the brain is trained to respond) that it causes far more harm and misery than the trigger itself possibly could. And no, it’s not just people with PTSD who sometimes get hurt by stories. There are many, many ways a story can poke the part of your brain that says, this is Bad, I don’t like this, I don’t want to be here. The story is still, always, every time, pixels on a screen and ink on paper. The story causes no physical harm. But it can poke your brain into misery, it can stir up your emotions, it can make you want to cringe and run away. It can make you want to scream and fight and go after the author who brought this thing into existence. It can make you hurt.

This is an allergic reaction. This is your brain and body, your reflexes and instincts, trying to protect you from something that isn’t really happening. And just like a literal allergic reaction, it can do actual harm to you if it gets set off. This is real. The fact that stories can upset you to the point of pain and mental/emotional injury is real, even though it’s coming from your own brain and not the story itself. There are stories you shouldn’t read. There are stories I shouldn’t read, regret reading, will never read, because they hurt me. That doesn’t mean they’re the same stories that would hurt you. That doesn’t mean they don’t have value.

And, finally:

If getting upset about stories is fundamentally an individual person’s allergic reaction, their brain freaking out and firing off painful survival instincts in the face of a thing that isn’t, in and of itself, a threat? Then the anti movement is a cultural allergic reaction.

Fandom as a whole has a pretty active immune system, which doesn’t mean we have a good immune system. We try very hard to be aware of all the viruses and -isms and abuse and manipulation and cruelty, both systematic and individual, that exists around and within our community. We’re primed and ready to shout about things at all times. The anti movement is that system, that culture, screaming and shouting and fighting at a harmless thing on a grand scale. It wants to stop that thing, that scary awful thing that trips all of its well-primed danger sensors, at all costs. It’ll swell up and block off our airways (our archives) if it has to. It’ll turn on the body it came from. It’s scared and protective and trying to fight, and it’s ready to fight and destroy itself.

Luckily, fans and fanfic and fandom and fan culture are a lot bigger and older than they often get credit for, and it’s not like these cultural allergies are anything new. We could talk about shippers and slashers in the X-Files fandom in the 90s. We could talk about the birth of fandom in the days of Star Trek. We could talk about censorship and book burning going back centuries. We survived that and we’ll survive this, too.

But god, does the anti movement my throat and eyes itch. Man is it irritating, and sometimes a little suffocating, to realize how many stories just aren’t getting told out of fear of what the antis will say. And that’s the real danger, I think. What are we losing that would have so much value to someone? What are we missing out?

PAYMENT

Payment will be made through PayPal or Ko-fi.

Once we’ve established exactly what you’d like to have written, I’ll message/email you a PayPal invoice, or a specified Ko-fi amount, whichever you prefer. (Please note that Ko-fi only accepts payment in increments of $3, so prices will be rounded up where needed, whereas PayPal amounts will always be exact).

Once I’ve confirmed receipt of payment, I’ll then write your story as quickly as possible! Time restraints and the length of your commission will determine the time of its completion, but feel free to message me for updates, and generally your commission will be completed within 1-6 weeks after the writing process begins.

And of course, you will not be required to submit payment until after we’ve discussed and reached an agreement on length / content.

All commissions are non-refundable once payment has been received.

SENDING YOUR COMMISSION OUT INTO THE WILD

Once your commission is written and has gone through preliminary edits, I’ll send it to you for your approval! I will accept minor edits at this time if you have any SMALL preferences or notes (Could you make character A a bit crazier at this point? Could you have character B profess their love at the end? I really like tangerines, could you refer to character C’s eye color as that of a citrus fruit? Whatever, whatnot, etc.) Feel free to request whatever changes you like, but just know I don’t intend to rewrite the entire piece at this stage.

I will be posting commissions I receive on both Tumblr and ao3 unless specifically asked by you not to. I will also include a thanks and shoutout to you for your request! ♡ If you’re not comfortable having your username/handle attached to your commission, however, let me know and I won’t include your name on the posting, no problem at all ♡ In such cases I will simply thank you anonymously and state that “this is an anonymous commission.”
