Commission for @laurenmarieie
They requested an OC x Kaminari love letter with nsfw, I took the personal liberality to make this a proposal letter instead of a confessional.
Warnings: I don’t know how I ended up writing erotic poetry but yeah, erotic poetry, also if you disagree with Kaminari being actually well read and a poetic romantic then keep it to yourself
Pairing: Denki Kaminari x Tenchu Yaoyorozu (OC)
Why he writes it.
It’s been a long time coming honestly, you don’t date someone since you were second year and well past graduation when you’re both established in your respective fields without falling madly in love and wanting to marry them all the time. At least that’s how it feels for him and in his experience he has a much better time explaining his depth of feelings through written word. It’s something they share, plus isn’t it cute? He leaves her love notes all the time! Isn’t it special to expect a silly note and find his proposal instead?
How the letter actually looks.
He’s quite the romantic at heart, but no one until Tenchu has given him the opportunity to romance them like this. He pulls out all the stops on this one. Careful calligraphy that he’s perfected over time, on special vintage style writing paper with the gold trimming on bordering it. Spritzed with her favorite cologne of his and tucked into a white envelope, sitting on her writing desk with a rose laid across it.
How he gives it to Tenchu.
He doesn’t make it a big secret she needs to find out like some might. They’re the anxious type and he doesn’t want them worrying themselves into insecurities they’ve worked passed. Instead he says he’s left something on her desk accidentally and since it’s not uncommon for him she shrugs it off. Only to be surprised with his gift and then him knelt with a ring when she’s finished reading it.
What it says
How should I even start this?
Should I compare you to a muse that inspires me?
You’re so much more to me.
Should I compare your beauty to that of goddess?
It wouldn’t land quite right because you are a goddess in my eyes.
Should I tell you how I live to adore and worship you?
How the sweet nectar that flows from between the plump lips between your thighs is enough to nourish my for days?
How your touch makes me ache and yearn for relief, for release in that sacred place you’ve allowed me entry?
Ask for forgiveness that I so greedily spoil myself on you and hardly ever allow you to return the favor?
I’m sure you know, and I’m sure you don’t mind.
I’m certain as well, that you believe yourself to be the selfish one. You’re not princess.
Selfish is the man before you who takes the treasures of having you as a wife without gracing you with the title.
So Tenchu Yaoyorozu, please do me the honor of calling you my wife. Will you marry me?

Rescue
Villains before this
A/N: I'm going to try and get back into writing. I'm trying to publish chapters on Mondays. It definitely won't be every Monday because I have a lot with school, work, and just life in general, but I'm going to do my best and work on it whenever I have time. I feel like this is pretty crappy but I'm hoping the chapters will get better when I get back to a consistent writing schedule.
Third Person P.o.V
“Oh, Midoriya, you’re awake!” Denki exclaimed when he opened the door.
“Did you see the news? The media’s swarming the school right now.”
“It’s way worse than in the spring.” Most of Class 1-A entered Izuku’s hospital room.
“We’ve got a melon!” Minoru announced. “We bought it together! A big melon!” Katsuki stood in the corner, away from the large group around Izuku’s hospital bed.
“I caused you trouble, Midoriya…” Fumikage spoke up.
“No, I did, too…” Izuku mumbled. “Did everyone from Class A come?”
“No, Jiro-kun and Hagakure-kun are still being monitored,” Tenya answered. “So is Yaoyorozu-kun. Though Hiva healed her head, they wanted to watch her to be sure there were no lasting effects. That’s why you’re still here as well.” Izuku nodded. Even after Hiva’s healing, his arm felt stiff and hard to move. “So, everyone but those three came…”
“Seventeen of us…” Ochako added.
“Because Hiva’s not here,” Shoto finished.
“Hey, Todoroki!” Mina gasped. Hanta bit his lip, and Denki gave him a little nudge and a comforting smile.
“All Might said, ‘I can’t save the people I can’t reach,’” Izuku quoted. “That’s why he will always save those he can reach… I had to save her… That’s what my Quirk is for… It’s exactly like what Aizawa-sensei said to me. My body… wouldn't move… It was all I could do to save Kota… Even then, I had Veeves to help me… I couldn’t save someone right in front of me…”
“Then let’s save her this time,” Eijiro stated. Katsuki straightened up at this while others gasped. “Actually, Todoroki and I were here yesterday, too. On our way to your room, we saw All Might and a police officer talking to Yaoyorozu.”
“Does that mean you’re going to have Yaoyorozu-kun make another receiver?” Tenya guessed.
“What if it does?” Shoto challenged. Tenya grit his teeth before shouting.
“This is as All Might said! This is something we should leave to the pros! This isn’t the place for us to act, you idiots!”
“We know that!” Eijiro yelled back. “But I couldn’t do anything! After I heard that my friend was being targeted! After I had her right in front of me! I couldn't do anything! I didn’t do anything! If I don’t do anything now, I won’t be a hero or a man anymore!”
“Kirishima, we’re in a hospital,” Denki reminded. “Calm down. We all feel strongly about this, but-”
“It’s not your fault,” Hanta cut in. “It’s- ow!” Hanta pouted down at the one responsible for pinching the back of his hand, and Denki glared up at him.
“Iida-chan is correct,” Tsuyu suddenly spoke up.
“Iida, all of you, you’re all correct. I know that… But!” Eijiro turned to Izuku and held out his hand. “Hey, Midoriya, your hand can still reach! We can go save her!” Katsuki sighed.
“You know she’d never let us help her,” he mumbled. Eijiro turned to him, somewhat surprised he’d sign up for this task.
“What do you mean?” he asked. The blonde sighed again, this time with an eye roll as well.
“She knew what she was doing,” Katsuki explained. “She didn’t act like it, but her mind was much clearer than you all thought.”
“Are you trying to say she’s a villain?” Eijiro questioned. “That she joined them willingly?”
“I’m saying she’s important to them, and she knows it. The only ones in danger will be the morons trying to save her. If the villains don’t kill you, she will for ruining her plan.”
“It’s not a job for her to be doing!” Tenya exclaimed. “It’s for the pros.”
“If she makes one mistake, she could be in danger,” Shoto argued. “Think of who she’s trapped there with. She’ll forgive us when she realizes what could actually go wrong.” Katsuki shook his head.
“You’re acting selfishly,” he spat.
“You, the most selfish person in this room, cannot accuse me of acting selfishly,” Shoto replied. Katsuki pushed off the wall, and Shoto’s stance changed to match his.
“So, in short,” Mina spoke up, attempting to stop their possible fight, “you’re planning on getting the receiver from Yao-momo, following it, and going to save Hiva yourselves?”
“Yeah,” Eijiro said.
“Even though the villains said we were targets to be killed, they took Hiva without killing her,” Shoto continued.
“Because she’s important!” Katsuki repeated.
“They probably let her live, but that doesn’t mean they won’t kill her eventually,” Shoto went on. “Kirishima and I are going.”
“Do you really think they could kill her?” Katsuki questioned. “It’s Hiva. We should be worried about the villains.”
“Hey, that’s what Shinso said!” Denki exclaimed.
“Don’t go overboard with your messing around!” Katsuki groaned at Tenya.
“Wait, calm down,” Mezo ordered. “I understand Kirishima’s frustration at not being able to do anything and Todoroki’s frustration at having her stolen in front of his very eyes. I’m frustrated too. But this isn’t a situation where we should act on our emotions. Right?” 'Squidward gets it.' Katsuki thought as he fell back against the wall.
“L-Let’s leave this to All Might…” Yuga stuttered. “Aizawa-sensei’s permission to fight at the training camp has been rescinded, too.”
“Aoyama’s right,” Fumikage agreed. “I can’t say much since I was the one who needed saving, though…”
“But-”
“Everyone, we’re all shocked by Hiva’s kidnapping,” Tsuyu interrupted Eijiro. “But let’s think things through calmly. No matter how just your feelings, if you’re saying you’ll fight again… That you’ll break the rules… Those acts are the same as those of villains.” It was silent until there was a knock on the door. Yuga jumped at the sound, and a doctor slid the door open.
“Sorry to interrupt… it’s time for Midoriya-kun’s exam.”
“Wh-Why don’t we go?” Hanta suggested with a thumb pointed over his shoulder. “I want to see how Jiro and Hagakure are doing, too.”
“Oh, yeah,” Mashirao agreed.
“Deku-kun, feel better soon,” Ochako said on her way out.
“Thanks, all of you.”
“We talked to Yaoyorozu yesterday,” Eijiro mumbled to Izuku before leaving. “If we go, we go right away. Tonight. Since you were seriously injured, I don’t know if you can move, but we still wanted to invite you because you’re probably the most frustrated out of everyone.” He turned to Katsuki, who was still leaning against the wall to listen. “You are as well.” Katsuki scoffed and finally pushed off the wall to walk out.
“Hiva doesn’t need the help of extras like you,” he insulted. “All you’ll do is piss her off and ruin what she was ready to die for.”
“If you change your mind,” Eijiro turned from the blonde to Izuku, “we’ll be waiting in front of the hospital tonight.” Katsuki scoffed again and finally exited.
“Bakugo.” He huffed at Shoto’s voice. “We need you there.”
“Too bad.”
“Maybe you’re right,” Shoto continued anyway. “Maybe she doesn’t need the help of us ‘extras', but she does need yours.” Katsuki hesitated but shook the quick sinking feeling away. “I think you owe it to her.” Shoto walked away, but Katsuki stayed frozen as that guilty sinking feeling made a quick return.
“Damn it,” he growled, finally walking off.
---
Hanta and Denki ran down the sidewalk. “Perfect!” Denki shouted when he saw Hitoshi on the small front lawn. Hitoshi turned to see where the sudden sound came from and stepped back when the two nearly ran into him. Denki put a hand on Hitoshi’s shoulder to steady himself as Hanta doubled over and gasped for breath. “I knew we’d find you here.”
“I live here,” Hitoshi pointed out. “I feel like you practically live here.”
“Correct.” Hitoshi raised an eyebrow and looked down at Hanta, who was now lying on his back.
“This family makes us do a lot of cardio,” Hanta panted. “How are you right in the middle of everything?”
“For convenience,” Denki replied.
“What is going on?” Hitoshi asked.
“Todoroki and Kirishima.” Hitoshi nodded at Denki to continue. “They’re planning a rescue.” Hitoshi squinted at him.
“Rescue?” Denki nodded.
“For Hiva,” Hanta added, still on the ground. “They’re trying to make Yao-momo make another receiver, so they can find where the villains are and hopefully where Hiva is.”
“That’s stupid,” Hitoshi said. Denki nodded.
“That’s what we said,” he agreed. “She’d be angry we even thought of it. You in?”
“No!” Hitoshi exclaimed.
“Really?”
“You didn’t make a good argument, sparky,” Hanta stated.
“You really didn’t,” Hitoshi confirmed. “Even if you did, I’d still say no. I’m not getting in her way.” Hitoshi sighed and looked around before crouching down to Hanta, motioning Denki to do the same. “Besides, I happened to hear those two talking,” Hitoshi nodded towards the house to show he meant his parents, “and it sounds like the heroes are planning their own rescue. She’s gonna be home and fine by the end of the night.” The other two sighed, relieved smiles crossing their faces. “So come in.” Denki tilted his head, and Hanta angled his back to get a better look at the purple-haired teen. “Don’t you lover boys wanna see her when she gets back?” Hitoshi stood and walked towards the door.
“‘Boys’?” Hanta repeated.
“You’re not exactly a master at hiding your crushes,” Denki said, holding a hand out to help Hanta up from the ground.
---
Katsuki laid on his bed and stared at the ceiling. “Damn it, icyhot.” He sat up and sighed. “‘I think you owe it to her’? What’s he trying to say?” He sighed again and rubbed a hand over his face. “God damn it!” Katsuki dramatically rolled out of bed and stomped down the stairs, cursing Shoto for successfully guilt-tripping him.
---
Katsuki got to the hospital in time to see his classmates frozen on the sidewalk as they spoke. “Oi!” he called when they started walking again. All eyes landed on him, and he glared as he marched up to the group. “Where do you think you’re going?”
“Kacchan!” Izuku gasped.
“I thought you weren’t coming,” Eijiro said. “You were against it almost as much as Iida.” Katsuki clicked his tongue at the redhead and turned to Momo.
“Minds change,” he muttered. “Where are we going?” Shoto tilted his head at the odd behavior. “Stop staring at me, icyhot!”
---
The coordinates on the receiver indicate Camino Ward, Yokohama City in Kanagawa Prefecture,” Momo informed from her seat on the train. Since we’re leaving from Nagano, it will take about two hours. We should arrive around ten o’clock.”
“Um, did you tell everyone that we would leave tonight?” Izuku asked.
“Yeah,” Shoto answered. “They tried even harder to stop us when we told them, though.”
“After that, Uraraka said something pretty harsh, too,” Eijiro added. “‘I think Hiva will feel humiliated that she had to be saved by everyone,’ she said.” He looked at the blonde beside him. “So, what you’d been saying, basically.”
“Just to make sure, you know that what we’re doing is selfish and that no one wants us to do it, right?” Shoto asked from Katsuki’s other side. “You can still turn back if you want to.” Katsuki’s eyes went wide with fury.
“Wow, it’s almost as if someone said that!” he cried sarcastically. “I can’t imagine who!”
“If I were hesitating then I wouldn’t’ve said I’d do it in the first place!” Ejiro stated, ignoring Katsuki's words. “She’s not someone who’d let the villains do whatever they want with her.”
“What about you, Midoriya?” Shoto questioned.
“I… I cannot turn back.”
“I see… Alright.”
---
“So, this is Camino Ward?” Izuku wondered. “There are a lot of people.”
“So those guys are hiding somewhere in this city?” Eijiro asked. “Okay, where are they, Yaoyorozu?!” Katsuki grabbed the back of Eijiro’s shirt when he tried to run off.
“Wait a minute!” Momo ordered. “From here on out, we must be very, very careful. The villains know what we look like, remember? We must also consider that we may be attacked at any moment.”
“Got it!” Izuku exclaimed before crossing his arms over his face. “Gotta be covert!”
“That makes you stand out more, Midoriya,” Shoto told him.
“But at this rate, we won’t be able to scout very easily,” Tenya said.
“Then what are we supposed to do?” Eijiro questioned.
“If it’s something you guys are all worried about,” Katsuki turned to Momo as he spoke, “why don’t you just make us some disguises?” Momo pointed behind her instead of agreeing.
“I have a similar suggestion.” Katsuki’s eye twitched as he reluctantly followed the rest of the group into the store.
---
“Hey, you!” Izuku yelled as he exited the changing room. Shoto stepped out in his own disguise, and Momo did the same a moment later.
“What are these clothes?” Tenya asked.
“I’ll tell ya later,” Eijiro answered. Katsuki swiped the curtain out of his way with an aggravated sigh. He had a disguise similar to Eijiro’s, with a fedora over his spiky blonde hair that he wanted to throw to the ground. He cringed as Izuku and Tenya shouted as they exited the shop.
“Kids would stand out in the shopping district at night, right?” Momo guessed.
“And you didn’t just use your Quirk because…?” Katsuki trailed off, voice clearly showing his annoyance.
“Th-Th-That’s against the rules!” Momo stuttered. “If I make anything I want with my Quirk, then circulation of money and… That’s right, as a citizen of this nation, I must increase the flow of money in the economy!”
“I see,” Shoto said, accepting the excuse.
“So, you just wanted to shop,” Katsuki corrected. Momo smiled guiltily.
“Everyone, our destination is this way-” Momo was interrupted by a stranger shouting.
“Woah, it’s U.A.!”
“H-Hey!” Izuku exclaimed as he turned, tensing at the image on the screen.
“And now, please watch a clip from U.A. High School’s apology press conference that just occurred.”
“Aizawa-sensei…” Izuku muttered as he and the others pushed through the crowd for a better look.
“And even the principal!” Momo gasped.
“We deeply apologize for the incident that allowed harm to come to 28 first years of the hero course because of our unpreparedness,” Shota stated. “We apologize for causing unease in society due to our negligence in properly defending ourselves as a place of learning. We are truly sorry.” All three men on screen, Shota, Nezu, and Vlad, bowed.
“Aizawa-sensei, who hates being on TV, is” Eijiro stopped speaking when a reporter stood to ask a question.
“I’m from Yomiuri TV. Since the beginning of the year, U.A. High School students have had four encounters with villains. This time, there were even students injured. How did you explain to their families, and what are some specific countermeasures you are taking?”
“Treating them like the bad guy…?” Izuku whispered.
“After what happened, it’s easy to do,” Katsuki mumbled to himself. “A hero in training did more than the professionals.” Nezu decided to answer the reporter’s question.
“We will increase policing in the surrounding area and review the security within the school, ensuring the students’ safety with a strong position. That is what we told them.”
“Huh? What are these guys saying?”
“They’re not being protected at all.”
“Hero schools aren’t usually defeated by villains…”
“How’s that supposed to ensure anything?”
“Aren’t they just trying to protect themselves?” Katsuki watched the others look around worriedly as the people muttered.
“Hey!” The teens’ eyes shifted to him. “Let’s go. You’re getting distracted.” He pointed in the direction Momo did before. “This way, right?”
---
“This is the spot the receiver is showing,” Momo told the group.
“So that’s their hideout,” Eijiro guessed. “It really looks like one!”
“I don’t know if it’s their hideout or not, but from what I can see on the receiver, the villain has not left here for the past day,” Momo informed. “Also, just because the villain is here doesn’t mean Hiva is. We are here with very little to go on. Please think about that objectively.”
“We don’t have anyone who excels at sneaking around, like Jiro-kun or Hagakure-kun, with us,” Tenya continued. “If I think it’s even the least bit dangerous, I will stop you immediately. Because I’m your friend, I will not hesitate to call the police, either.”
“Snitch,” Katsuki scoffed to himself, earning a nudge to the shoulder from Eijiro.
“Thanks, Iida-kun,” Izuku muttered. “What can we do with what we have…? I’ve gotta think. The prerequisite is that we not use our Quirks or fight with the villains. On top of that, we need to figure out if Veeves is in that building or not.”
“It’s been a while since I’ve seen that muttering,” Eijiro mumbled.
“It really feels like Midoriya-san,” Momo added.
“Like Iida-kun said, we don’t have anyone with a good scouting Quirk like Jiro or Shoji, so…”
---
“There’s no reaction even though we’ve gotten this close,” Momo observed.
“The lights aren’t on, either,” Eijiro pointed out. “It doesn’t look like anyone’s in there.”
“To hide a tree, use the forest…” Shoto said. “I guess they’re hiding as an abandoned warehouse.”
“Hey, what’re ya doin’, hostess?” Momo jumped at the sudden voice, and the others whipped around. “Come drink wit’ us!” Katsuki grabbed the drunk by his collar and pulled him closer to glare down into his eyes.
“What did you say?” he growled. His friend pulled him away and then slapped the back of his head.
“Yeah, stop that idiot!”
“Let’s get away from here for now,” Shoto suggested as he walked off. Katsuki watched the duo angrily and stuck to the end of the group, mumbling about ‘those dumbasses’.
---
“There aren’t many people walking by, but there are some,” Shoto began.
“We can’t do anything to stand out,” Momo continued. Shoto gave Katsuki a look, and the blonde raised an eyebrow, silently daring him to say something. “What should we do?”
“Let’s try going around to the back,” Izuku suggested. “No matter how little information we have on this place, it’s all we’ve got.” The group crossed the street and ducked into the small alley.
“This is very narrow…” Momo complained. “I feel like I will get stuck…”
“We can’t move until we know for sure it’s safe,” Izuku told her and the others. “No one will see us here, and at that height, we should be able to see inside, too!”
“Will we be able to see anything in this darkness?” Shoto asked, eyeing the window with the others.
“I can make a night vision scope-”
“Wait, Yaoyorozu!” Eijiro cut her off. “Actually, I brought one with me…”
“Wow, why?” Izuku questioned. Katsuki wished there was enough space to lean back and give the boy an ‘are you stupid’ look from behind Momo.
“When I thought about what we’d have to do, I thought we’d need it.”
“But Isn’t that super expensive?” Izuku pried. “I did research on them online when I was thinking about my costume, but if I remember correctly, they cost around fifty thousand yen…”
“Who cares how much they cost? Stop talking about it!”
“Okay, then Midoriya and Kirishima, you two look through it,” Shoto ordered. “Iida and I will carry you on our shoulders.”
“It’s really cramped,” Izuku whispered.
“Don’t lean forward so much,” Tenya advised. “I want to make sure we can run the second we think it’s dangerous.”
“Iida, can you move back a little?” Eijiro requested.
“Tell us what you see, Kirishima-kun, what’s inside?”
“It’s just dirty… I don’t really see anything…” Eijiro suddenly gasped and nearly fell backward from shock.
“Kirishima-kun?!” Izuku worried.
“What’s wrong? What can you see, Kirishima?” Shoto asked.
“In the back on the left…! Midoriya, look in the back on the left!” Katsuki looked from the boys to Momo and back up. Izuku took the scope and did as told.
“No way… Are those… all…”
“Spit it out, Deku!” Katsuki growled.
“Nomu?!” Katsuki shut his mouth quickly at that.
“Hey!” All attention went to Eijiro and then over to where he had been looking to see a truck rising in the air.
“That’s…!” Izuku was cut off when Mount Lady’s attack knocked him and the others to the ground.
“Wh-What happened?!” Tenya groaned. He lifted Eijiro onto his shoulders again, and Katsuki raised Momo so she could get a good view.
“Mout Lady and Gang Orca…” Eijiro identified, “… and even the number four hero, Best Jeanist?”
“Mr. Tiger is there, too,” Momo added. Katsuki and Tenya let the two down.
“Ugh, are these really alive?” Mount Lay gagged. “Is it really okay for our job to be this easy, Jeanist-san? Maybe we should’ve gone with All Might.”
“Don’t think about difficulty and importance together, newcomer,” Jeanist lectured. “Riot squad, get the Maidens ready. They might still be here. Please continue to give it your all.”
“Yes, sir!”
“The heroes were already moving way before we were!” Tenya whispered.
“Wow…!”
“Now, let us fall back immediately. There’s nothing left for us to do now.”
“Since she said ‘with All Might,' does that mean Veeves is there too?” Izuku wondered.
“If All Might is there, then there’s even more reason to rest easy,” Momo assured. “Now, hurry!”
“Right,” Shoto mumbled. Izuku froze, and Shoto stopped to look back at him. The sound of footsteps could be heard, and the rest of the students came to a stop.
“Sorry, Tiger. She’s always had a good Quirk. It was the perfect opportunity, so I took it.”
“Are you with the League?” Gang Orca questioned.
“Alright, someone…” Tiger spoke up.
“After my body turned into this, I also depleted a lot of what I’d stocked up…” the voice continued.
“Stop! Don’t move!” Gang Orca ordered. The footsteps continued forward, so Jeanist pinned his limbs together.
“Wait, Best Jeanist-san, what if he was an ordinary citizen?!” Mount Lady stressed.
“Think about the situation,” Jeanist replied. “That instant of hesitation could decide the fight. Don't let the villains do anything.” A large attack suddenly went off like an explosion, creating a cloud that blocked everything from view.

control [denki kaminari x oc chuya tanaka]
Tumblr media
[ i highly recommend listening to the song i used for inspo when reading each of these stories.]
[song: CONTROL by: Zoe Wees]
don’t know if you get ‘cause i can’t express how thankful i am
that you were always with me when it hurts, i know that you understand
i don’t wanna lose control
nothing i can do anymore
trying everyday when i hold my breath
spinning out in space, pressing on my chest
Sitting in his room, Denki felt defeated. Since moving into the dorms at UA and seeing all of his amazing classmates having the math homework done.
It wasn’t until it was time for dinner and everyone in class 1a had gathered in the common room to eat together like they did every single night after class that people started to worry about Denki who had not come to eat. “Where’s Kaminari?” someone asked, but no one knew.
Chuya Tanaka had entered class 1a late due to a family issue, with her parents being heroes who were severely injured. Her quirk was called electricity generation it was very similar to Denki’s except that she has that ability to aim her discharges where Denki can’t without outside help. Her entrance into the class made Denki feel even worse, and the worse part is that she was a nice girl but he couldn’t help comparing himself to her and making her out to be a bad person in his head. He hated himself for that.
“It’s her fault that he’s like this.” Bakugo rolled his eyes and pointed at Chuya. “She basically has his quirk but is a million times more skilled and controlled.” Everyone else quickly told Bakugo to shut up and tried to explain that it had nothing to do with Chuya, but she knew it did.
When she first joined the class and met everyone, she was so excited to meet Denki because they had such similar quirks, but he always avoided her. She knew that her presence was making him uncomfortable. “I’ll go check on him,”
“You’ll just make it worse. You’re no better than a glorified battery pack.” Bakugo spat, this was his way of showing that he does care about Denki.
“You’re right, and I might not help. But I haven’t always been this in control of my quirk, you’re only seeing how I am now. Not how I used to be, and you have no idea what I went through to get it like this. For Denki, I’m glad he can’t control it well yet, it means that he must not have been tortured the same way I was.” Chuya explained before she got up and went to Denki’s room.
“Kaminari?” She knocked on the door and there was only a faint, “come in”
When she opened the door she could just feel how upset he was, even if he put on his smile to try and hide it. He was never rude to her, or let his negative feelings out in the open, instead he just always avoided her.
“You didn’t come to dinner, and I know I haven’t been here long but I don't remember anyone ever missing dinner. Are you feeling okay?”
Denki sat up in his bed, still under the covers and patted the edge of the bed for Chuya to come sit. “The first time I ever used my quick I hurt my whole class. It manifested in the middle of the day and I sent out so much discharge all over the place that my whole class was temporarily paralyzed. Luckily I was only a child so the wattage was still fairly low and no one suffered any long term damage. But since then… Have I not improved at all? No matter what I do…If Yaoyorozu isn’t around to make a covering to protect others from my wattage I can’t do anything except hurt others.”
“I’m sorry, I know that since I’ve come you have been comparing yourself to me. Or better yet you’ve been hearing the others comparing us. But I don’t want you to compare yourself to me, there is no point. We may have similar quirks but we are different people and even if they are similar they are different. Your quirk is amazing Kaminari, don’t forget that.”
“I don’t even know why I’m here, I want to be a hero… but what kind of hero could I be? My quirk can hurt civilians or people I’m trying to rescue. I can’t control where I want my discharge to go…not like you…” Denki hid his head under the blanket refusing to look at Chuya.
“Didn’t I just say to stop comparing yourself to me?” Chuya took the blanket to uncover Denki’s head. “Kaminari, when I was younger, I also could not control where the discharge from my quirk went, I hurt my best friend growing up, I hurt them so much that they parents would let them near me again. I grew up known as the lightning bolt, everyone was afraid of me. I trained for hours every day until I wore myself down trying to control it. I’m glad that you didn’t have to go through what I did. If I learned anything in my life, it’s that it’s okay to be a little out of control.”
“But…” Denki pulled the blanket out of Chuya’s hands trying to cover himself again as if the soft blanket would protect his fragile heart and emotions.
“No buts Kaminari! I’m sure with some more training and some help from the support students you can feel more confident in your abilities. I won’t say to make you better, because even though I  don’t know you well yet, I think you’re pretty cool Kaminari. Oh and also, you can call me Chu.” She tugged on the blanket so he couldn’t hide himself. "People tend to think that having a quirk like ours is only useful to charge phones… like a glorified battery…" Chuya mumbled, maybe to Denki or maybe to herself, she wasn't sure.
Hearing what Chuya said about feeling like a battery, Denki wanted to break down into tears. However, he managed to control himself. He knew exactly how she was feeling, at school people used him to charge their phones, to light up buildings, and charge a car once. Denki knew that it was useful for rescue missions, but other than that what could he do? And even then if he used too much wattage he becomes an idiot, as his classmates like to call him.
"I don't want to lose control again." A single tear fell onto the blanket. Chuya grabbed his hand and just smiled. "I try every single day to not lose control, I hold my breath and just hope for the best. I'm scared of hurting everyone around me. I panic when I need to fight…" This time, it was more than a single tear. Denki couldn't explain why he suddenly felt so comfortable around Chuya, the new girl he had been avoiding. Maybe it was because she knew what he was going through, or maybe it was because unlike everyone else she could see him as more than an idiot classmate.
"If you ever lose control, I'll be with you. I can't be hurt by electricity, I can redirect it too. Don't be afraid anymore. And come eat some dinner, I saw Bakugo saving you a plate. But don't tell him I saw him," Chuya let out a small laugh and pulled the blanket off of Denki. "Come on Kaminari,"
"Denki. You can call me Denki…Chu."
A few days later class 1A was doing some training and suddenly the league of villains appeared out of nowhere. The sudden attack scattered the students. Denki was alone with Shoji, Tokoyami, and Chuya. Denki panicked not knowing how to help, he couldn't let out an attack because his classmates were too close to him.
Useless…useless…
You can't even help your friends.
Denki's thoughts ran wild. It wasn't until Chuya screamed that Denki was pulled from his thoughts. Shoji and Tokoyami were fighting but Chuya was laying on the floor behind some lower ranked villains. Just due to the sheer difference in numbers the others were starting to become overwhelmed.
Chuya tried to get up and fight more, but she could barely stand. As she fell back onto her knees she called out to Denki. Since they spoke in his room a few nights ago the pair had been training to help him control his electricity. Denki looked around nervously as Tokoyami and Shoji were still fighting but he decided to trust Chuya who trusted his abilities and he let out a stong current of electricity.
Denki watched as Tokoyami and Shoji didn't even flinch. Did they trust him? Were they not afraid of him making a dumb mistake?
Chuya saw Denki and noticed how his attack would hit Shoji and Tokoyami. She could see how he was trying to control it, but his quirk is one that can’t easily be controlled. mustered all the strength that she had left and redirected the current to take out the villains who were left surrounding them before collapsing back down. "I knew you could do it…" She said quietly as Shoji hurried over to her.
"I'm sorry we couldn't protect you," Shoji said quietly.
"You guys did protect me, I'm sorry I wasn't more helpful." But in all honesty it wasn't her fault. Someone came from behind and stabbed her side. Looking down at herself she didn't even notice how much she was bleeding.
Tokoyami and Denki came over and saw the state she was in. Denki froze and just took her hand. Shoji picked her up to cover her and bring her back to the school but Denki never let go of her hand. As she began to lose consciousness she heard only the beginning of their conversation and was able to smile despite her current state.
"When did you and Tanaka come up with such a move? You guys both really saved us back there," Tokoyami began. The three boys continue talking while Tokoyami and Shoji praise Kaminari and Chuya.
Once they are back at the school the teachers direct Shoji to take Chuya to Recovery Girl and Denki followed. Tokoyami stayed to give his report on who attacked them and where the rest of the scattered students went.
In the nurse’s office, Shoji had left Denki alone with Chuya. “I never want to lose control… thank you Chu, I can’t express how thankful I am. Thank you for holding my hand that night so many days ago and believing in me.”

ask and you shall receive!
hawks oneshot
your pussy clenched around nothing, his lips sucking on your clit softly as he kneaded your boobs. his face was so slippery and sloppy, your juices spread all over his lips as he licked around your pussy. with a few kisses on your inner thighs, he sat up, his long pink cock recoiling in his movement.
“mm, my sloppy little pussy, making a mess all over me.” he groaned, rubbing his length all over your wetness. “gonna take all my inches, baby.”
feeling the stretch made you shut your eyes softly, feeling his thick cock pushing against your walls until it reached the max, before pulling out again. feeling his now wet cock grinding against your clit made you groan, reaching down to put your boyfriends length back in your tight pussy.
“needy girl.” he purred, slowly moving in and out of you before grabbing your waist and allowing your bodies to make their own paste.
the sound of juices smacking together made you wetter, grabbing ahold of the sheets beside you as he pounded you. you could hear him hissing at the feeling of your gummy walls, barely concealing the dirty sounds that threatened to come out.
“you like it when this fat fucking cock splits you open? you like being my good girl?”
“h-hawks, please.”
his rough hands gripped your hips, pulling your body down onto his cock and watching your tits bounce hastily.
“mm, baby i wanna cum inside. let me make you a mommy, please baby.” he whimpered, head thrown back in total bliss as your juices squirted onto his defined happy trail.
“ah fuck, oh yes baby, take every single drop in my little pussy. let me breed my little pussy, make you the mother of my children.”

Trade before this
A/N: I wanted to have this out on Monday, but the day was more draining than I expected.
“What are you doing here?” Hanta jumped at Shota’s voice and turned to his teacher.
“I, um… I was just…”
“You’re doing what I’m attempting, right?” Hanta relaxed a bit.
“Depends...”
“I’m trying to get that kid to eat something before she starves.” Hanta slowly nodded, remembering how he had seen Hiva basically turn green when food was offered to her earlier that night and watched Shota slam his phone down in frustration. “I thought we were over this, Hiva.” Hanta hummed at Shota’s whisper.
“Ginger pork’s good and quick.” Shota turned to Hanta. “Seemed like she was kinda sick. Ginger helps.” Shota nodded.
“Thank you.” Hanta nodded and turned away to try and escape any punishment he would receive.
---
“Have you noticed how close Hiva and Sero are?” Hizashi asked as he watched Hiva and Denki follow Hanta into his house.
"Is now the time for this, Zashi?" Shota wondered aloud. Hizashi raised an eyebrow, and Shota sighed. “They did become friends pretty quick." Hizashi shook his head.
“No, I mean close-close.” Shota titled his head. “You’re their homeroom teacher! You’re supposed to be up on the gossip.”
“Gossip is your thing,” Shota replied. “I learn it from you.” Hizashi sighed and kept an eye on the door.
“According to Nemuri, Sero’s got quite the crush on our little girl,” Hizashi shared. Shota hummed. “Are you really surprised? How many times do you see him turn back to look at her? He’s like a puppy.” Shota huffed out a small laugh. “I know, it’s adorable. Hiva, of course, is oblivious as ever.”
“She likes him?” Hizashi pinched the bridge of his nose.
“Sho, you’re worse than she is.” Hizashi watched Hiva walk out of the house with Denki. “Your turn.”
“My turn?” Shota repeated.
“I got her a loud blonde,” Hizashi stated. “It’s your turn.” The door opened, and they quickly shut up. “How is he?”
---
‘God damn it, Hizashi.’ “Can you cook?” Hanta froze but turned back to his teacher to nod. “Good, I can’t.” He was confused by his teacher’s surprising leniency but followed when Shota flicked his hand in a ‘come here’ motion. He turned with a finger over his lips. “We were never here, okay? We’re both breaking rules.” Hanta copied his teacher and nodded with a thumbs up. The two "borrowed" what they needed and got to work.
“In how much trouble would we be if caught?” Hanta asked. Shota shook his head.
“Don’t worry about it.” Hanta gulped, and Shota chuckled. He watched his student for a second. “What do you think about Hiva?” Hanta shrugged at the sudden question.
“I don’t know,” he mumbled. Shota rolled his eyes.
“Sero, do you think I’m stupid?” Hanta quickly shook his head. “Then never lie to my face again. I know that you are obsessed with her.” Hanta blushed at the call out. “Hiva really likes you, you know.” Hanta shook his head. “Kid, trust me.” ‘Why do I have to be playing matchmaker?’ Shota wondered. ‘This is Hizashi’s thing.’ “Hiva’s always had problems with her feelings, especially when they're like this.”
“Oh…” Shota nodded.
“Yeah, she’s… difficult. If you like her as much as it seems, you have to be the one to bring it up.” Hanta bit his lip and sighed out his nose.
“Isn’t that kinda awkward, though? I-”
“It’s not awkward unless you make it awkward,” Shota stated. “Trust me.” Shota watched Hanta for a second. He looked hesitant, and Shota was searching for something to make him make a real decision. “She needs you and Kaminari. She acts like herself when she’s with you two. I haven’t seen her this happy in a long time.” Hanta smiled and looked up at Shota.
“You really think she’s into me?” It took everything in Shota not to roll his eyes.
“That’s what I said. I suggest doing something about that crush on Kaminari too.” Hanta’s cheeks turned bright red at that.
“How’d you know...”
“You just told me.” Hanta cursed himself in his head, and Shota shook his head with a small smile. “And I’m your teacher. I know all the drama. Nothing is safe.” Hanta nodded. “Talk to them. Communication does more than you think.” Hanta nodded again. ‘Never expected to have to talk sense into this one.’ Shota thought. ‘No one can ever say I don’t take care of my students after this. Getting wrapped in teen drama like this...'
“Thank you.” Shota nodded at Hanta.
“Don’t worry. Just… This never happened. I have a reputation.” Hanta chuckled a bit at the teasing hidden in his serious tone and zipped his lips.
---
“I really don’t want to, though,” Hiva mumbled.
“I’ll tell you my deep, dark secret if you tell me yours,” Hanta tried to bargain.
“I wouldn’t call it deep or dark.”
“Then regular, boring secret for mine.” Hiva’s lips twitched up in a small smile.
“Fine,” she sighed, letting her head fall on the arm behind her. “I think the villains are going to come to camp.” Hanta’s mouth fell open as he nodded slowly.
“So… that’s neither regular nor boring.” Hiva chuckled and let her head fall to the side onto his shoulder. “What makes you think that?”
“Well, I’m pretty sure I have everything else figured out,” she explained. “Something like that also just fits Shigaraki. He loves the fear he causes.”
“Everyone feels secure here.” Hiva nodded.
“Exactly. It’s the perfect time to strike. No one’s ready for it.”
“Why not tell the heroes?” Hanta asked, starting to become a little nervous.
“I’m trying to go with them, and I can't if the heroes are alert. They won't show it, but they'll be panicked as well. It should be easy to slip away. Besides, Shigaraki’s come to me trying to convince me before, so I'm guessing he'll come for me.”
“What?!” Hiva lifted her head, shocked by his sudden shout. “Why… How… Huh?!”
“It’s really not that serious,” Hiva dismissed. “Remember that underground bar thing?” Hanta nodded. “Yeah, I did it to help Endeavor catch a bunch of assholes, but it made it easy for me to look useful to the villains. I told him I did it to take out competition, and he believed it.” Hanta braced his elbow on his knee and leaned his head on his hand. “Like I said, I assume he’s coming for me so I’ll go. He’s gonna cause as much chaos as he can. It’ll cause a panic which is the perfect distraction, and I’ll just slip away. All I have to do is convince him I’m the perfect person to be undercover for them, I’ll come back saying I escaped or something, and talk to Nezu, All Might, and probably the police about being undercover. If they don’t agree, I’ll just do it without permission.” Hanta was becoming more and more worried with each word that left her mouth.
“Is that all?!” he squeaked. Hiva thought for a second and then nodded.
“Yeah, pretty much.”
“Can I be honest?” Hiva nodded. “That sounds like a horrible plan.” Hiva tilted her head but then nodded again. “You know it’s horrible, but you’re still gonna do it?” Hiva nodded once more. “Okay, I’m in.”
“Yeah, no.” Hanta frowned.
“I wanna help.” Hiva shook her head.
“No,” she repeated.
“Just in case,” Hanta tried. “If you need me, ask.” Hiva just shook her head. “Please?” No response. “Please ask me?” Hiva sighed when she met Hanta’s eyes.
“If I need your help, will you help me?”
“Of course.” Hiva grumbled to herself a bit, and Hanta laughed.
“Well, your turn. What’s your secret?” Hanta tensed.
“I forgot about that,” he whispered to himself before clearing his throat. He watched Hiva cross her arms over her knees and lay her head on them, gently squishing her cheek.
“Come on. It can’t be worse than mine.” His heart flipped at her teasing little smile.
“I have crushes on my best friends!” he blurted. Hiva hummed.
“Ooh, interesting! Who are they?” Hanta tilted her head, unclear if she was oblivious, adorably stupid, or both.
“You and Kaminari.” Judging by Hiva’s smirk, it seemed to be none of the guesses above. “You know, don’t you?”
“I guessed that earlier today, actually,” she admitted. “If it makes you feel any better, I think I’m into you too. I just wanted to wait until I knew for sure.” Hanta relaxed at her calmness, and, despite his talk with Shota, he was still surprised to hear her say she liked him. “You look shocked. I thought it was obvious.” Hanta tilted his head.
“Wai- Were you trying to tell me or something? Because I totally missed it.” Hiva giggled and shrugged.
“I actually don’t know. I just got smacked in the face with reality a couple hours ago. I was looking back at it, and I just realized that I think I like you. It’s just… I’m not good at the whole feelings thing. If it weren’t for dad, I don’t think I’d be with Denki now, honestly. I like someone, I push it away, and if someone likes me, I force myself to like them back. It’s confusing separating someone else’s feelings that I’m matching from my own. Does that make any sense?” Hanta nodded and put an arm around her to pull her into his side. “I'm still processing the fact that I'm stupid," Hanta huffed a laugh, muttering that she wasn't stupid, ”and dissecting those feelings. That, and-"
“You wanted to wait until it wasn’t just a think,” Hanta finished. Hiva nodded. “That’s kinda why I didn’t drag Kaminari with me.”
“Thank you, Hanta.”
“Thanks for talking with me. I wasn’t expecting you to stay so calm.” Hiva chuckled a bit and shrugged.
“Can you do me a favor?” Hanta nodded. “I want the villain thing to stay between us. I don’t want to worry anyone, especially not Denki. Kinda why I’m trying to just disappear.” Hanta nodded.
“Yeah, but… I know not knowing for sure makes it difficult, but I want to talk with all three of us when you get back.” Hiva nodded and held her pinkie out.
“Deal.” Hanta smiled and linked his pinkie with hers. He took the empty plate from beside her. “I’ll take this back. Good night, querida.” He held his hand out to help her up.
"Good night.” She took his hand and laughed at how easily he pulled her to her feet.
---
“Ragdoll.” Hiva tilted her head at Tomura, letting her arm fall to her side.
“What about her?”
“All For One thinks her Quirk is interesting,” Tomura explained. “He wants it.” Hiva hesitated. ‘This is a test.’ she thought. ‘He thinks I won't because I’m a hero in training, and heroes don’t sacrifice others.’
“Deal,” she agreed, eyes glowing black. A high-pitched scream was heard in the distance, and Hiva fought a wince at the sound. “Where to?”
“There’s a collection of old warehouses in Camino Ward,” Tomura told her. “Any of those will do. He can get her from there.” Hiva nodded, and Ragdoll was taken away.
“Hiva!” Hiva turned to Izuku’s voice and groaned at the sound of explosions getting closer.
“Is that idiot trying to set the forest on fire?” she wondered aloud as the light of Katsuki's Quirk got closer. Izuku was still shouting, just now at the blonde.
“Well, hurry up.” Hiva nodded right when Katsuki and Izuku came barreling into the clearing, three sets of feet pounding behind them. Izuku smiled brightly, but it fell when he saw the villain. Katsuki's palms sparked as both boys tried to launch themselves at Tomura.
“Sorry,” Hiva apologized. Katsuki quickly changed course in an attempt to stop her, but it was too late. The smoke had curled around her and then burst, flowing steadily in every direction. They both froze in place and disappeared. Hiva’s body seized up, and she toppled over. Tomura put an arm around her shoulders to slow her fall and then lifted one of her arms over his shoulder to make her easier to carry.
“You’re lucky you’re important,” Tomura groaned as a warp gate came to life behind him. Aza pulled itself from Hiva’s arm and watched Tomura cautiously. “Relax, you parasite.”
---
Shota winced when he accidentally slammed the door behind him. Hitoshi’s head shot up when he entered the living room, making Hizashi lean back to avoid getting headbutt. He had been trying to comfort his panicked son all night. “It was my fault. I’m sorry.” Shota tilted his head, and Hizashi raised an eyebrow. “I know you think it’s your fault, but it’s not.” Shota hummed, even more confused.
“It’s not, Toshi. You weren’t even there,” Hizashi tried.
“But she told me, and I didn’t even realize.”
“What?” both parents questioned.
“She hinted at it. I thought she was just messing with me, but she was trying to tell me.” Hizashi rubbed Hitoshi’s shoulder, finally understanding the problem.
“It’s not your fault,” he assured. He looked over at Shota. “It’s not yours either.” Shota scoffed.
“Yeah, sure.” Hizashi motioned him over to the couch.
“It’s not.”
“If you were there, you wouldn’t be saying that,” Shota argued, sitting on the couch like he was silently asked to.
“Sho-”
“She was right there!" Shota yelled, voice failing him the next time he opened his mouth. "I had her right in front of me.”
“What happened?” Shota shook his head. “No, tell me what happened. I wanna know if it’s your fault.”
---
“What are you doing here?” Hanta stopped at Denki’s voice and looked away from his neutral face.
“I came to check on Aizawa-sensei. I kinda owe it to him.” Denki gave him a single nod. “You too?” Another single nod. Hanta guessed Denki’s silence. “I know you want me to be sorry, but I’m not. I’m sorry I yelled at you, I’m sorry I taped Kirishima up… but I’m not sorry I helped her.” Denki walked up to Hanta, and he closed his eyes with a sigh. He peeked one eye open when two arms wrapped around him. “What is this? You trying to find how wide to dig my grave?” Denki chuckled and shook his head.
“No, you looked like you needed it. And I’m sorry.” Hanta took a step back.
“You don’t have anything to apologize for.”
“Still am.” Hanta waved his arm around Denki.
“What… Why aren’t you mad at me anymore? I’d be furious with me if I were you!” Denki shook his head.
“No, you wouldn’t.” Denki huffed out a humorless laugh that made Hanta frown. “Really, I feel like crap because last night, my best friend had more faith in my girlfriend than I did. It feels like I betrayed you both.” Denki shook his head. “What did she say to make you help her?” Hanta shrugged.
“I thought she was being stupid, and I thought her plan was horrible,” Hanta replied honestly. “I just wanted her to know that I was there to help if she needed me. I didn’t expect her to ask because she was so against it, but she did.”
“She wasn’t really using her head, though,” Denki pointed out. “She was in pain and running on adrenaline. I’m convinced that, and her Quirk was the only thing keeping her on her feet.”
“Denki, she looked and sounded so desperate,” Hanta said. “I couldn’t have said no even if I wanted to.” Hanta laughed and ran a hand through his hair. “Everything blew up in her face. I had to do something.” Denki frowned and sighed.
“Why you and not me?” Hanta hummed. “She told you and not me.”
“She wanted to protect everyone, you specifically. I don’t know how she thought just disappearing like she planned to would, but she was convinced, and I trusted her. I wanted to keep you safe, too.” He mumbled the last bit and rubbed the back of his neck.
“Okay.” Hanta sighed as Denki made his way to the door. “Come on.”
---
“It’s not your fault,” Hizashi stated after Shota’s retelling. “Hiva knew what she was doing.”
“But I looked right at her, and it did nothing,” Shota sighed.
“Hiva’s power is weird,” Hizashi defended. “I’d be more surprised if it did work.”
“Sero helped her, but Kaminari didn’t?” Hitoshi mumbled. “That feels like the weirdest thing.”
“It was my turn to play cupid,” Shota groaned. “I told him to talk to her, and I guess she told him something.” There was suddenly a knock on the door before it opened. Hanta and Denki walked in, each poking their head cautiously into the living room. Hanta froze when he noticed Shota’s intense gaze on him, and it took everything in him not to take a step back when he stood. He placed a hand on both teens' shoulders. “We don’t blame you.” Hanta relaxed and nearly stumbled into Denki. Shota removed his hands from their shoulder and ruffled Hitoshi's hair before going back to the couch.
“We’re acting like she’s dead,” Hitoshi muttered. “If anyone dies, it’ll probably be Ayame. Hiva’s finally gonna snap, and I’m not there to see it.” Hizashi sighed as Hitoshi crossed his arms. “What? Hiva knows how to survive, and she’s going to be fine. Hell, she’s made Death her bitch. Even if something happens, she’ll hop right back up like nothing ever happened.” Hizashi laughed a bit and nodded.
“You’re right.” Hitoshi hummed and thought for a second. The other teens watched him oddly before laughing.
“You have the same lightbulb face as Hiva,” Hanta pointed out, earning fond headshakes from the two adults.
“Make them her bitch,” Hitoshi mumbled. “She’s trying to go undercover!”
“She told you too?” Hanta asked. Hitoshi shook his head.
“No, but you did,” he groaned. “It just seemed like something her dumbass-self would do.” Hitoshi went up the stairs and waved the other four after him. They entered Hiva’s room, and Hizashi sighed at the blackboard covered in her writing. “She was convinced she had everything figured out. I believed her, but now I believe her, believe her.”
“None of this makes sense,” Denki grumbled, eyes grazing over every weirdly placed bullet point.
“Well, it starts around here.” Hitoshi pointed to a spot in the middle of the chalkboard.
---
Hiva groaned and woke up, the gas from the villain’s Quirk finally leaving her system. She whined at the hand prodding around her head, and Dabi grabbed her wrist the second she tried to swat at him. “Watch it.” Hiva let her arm fall to her side, and Dabi finished bandaging her head and did his best to create splints for her arms. Dabi patted her shoulder surprisingly gently and helped her sit up. “Was wondering when your lazy ass would wake up.” Hiva hummed at him but got up from where she lay on the bathroom floor.
“Thanks, Dabi.” He just clicked his tongue and walked off. Hiva followed him, guessing she was supposed to.
“There you are!” Hiva took a step back, unnerved by Tomura’s joyful tone. “How did you know we’d be there?” Hiva sighed when his dark tone returned and waved at him.
“I can explain that just give me a sec. Still a bit groggy.” She looked around for a second and watched Aza waddle up to her. “Oh, there you are.” Aza climbed up to her shoulder and seemed to sigh. “First, thank you, Ayame.” Hiva motioned to her. “Your hints made this easy. I’m guessing you know this the best, so tell me when I’m wrong. Anyway, it starts about nine years ago when Arachnid, or Sero Daiki, went missing during an overseas mission. One you were on as well, right Ayame?” The woman sighed and nodded.
“Yes.”
“Now, everyone knows you were only playing hero,” Hiva continued. “You were only ever a villain. I guess you wanted to prove to All For One what you’d do for the league. You used Sero as an offering. Using anyone you were actually close to was suspicious, and you knew enough about Sero to act like he was a friend. You killed Sero and brought him back, or you brought him back and killed him. Either way, he’s dead, and you only succeeded because of your dear brother, Yuuma.” Hiva motioned to the said man. “After all, siblings that plot together, stick together. You put yourself in a situation where your guilt was almost ensured and thought you proved that you didn’t care who you had to put in danger, you’d do it. Even if it was yourself. Maybe a stretch, but I’m pretty sure he’s a Nomu now, right? All For One doesn’t seem the type to waste material.”
“You’re not exactly wrong,” Ayame mumbled. Hiva nodded and walked over to the bar.
“We’re gonna be here a while. Get me a drink, would ya?” Hiva turned back to the group. “Anyway, that brought Shinso into All For One’s good graces with Ayame. That's why Hitoshi can only remember you two fighting. I guess he grew a conscious when he learned more."
“If anything, he lost it,” Ayame growled with a glare in Yuuma’s direction. Hiva hummed at the odd reaction. It was surprisingly emotional for someone like her.
“I guess you got me there,” she admitted. “I don’t really know how Yuuma plays in other than helping with your clues and with Sero.” Hiva took her glass full of brown liquid and took a sip. “Here on the timeline, I’m about six. Next, I’m seven and have a Quirk. That’s thanks to All For One, and it’s not one, it’s a full collection. That’s why it was so hard for me to handle. Eight, you go away. Ten, I’m in the hospital with Aiko. I guess All For One got to her after me, right?” Ayame nodded. “And I guess she’s a backup?” Another nod. “Which makes sense considering my Quirk before All For One.” Hiva smiled and pointed at Ayame’s shocked face. “Yeah, Toshi helped me with that one. Any Quirk he gave me would’ve mixed with the enhancement Quirk I already had, and they would’ve become stronger. That’s why right?” Ayame sighed, and it was enough confirmation for Hiva. “If Aiko’s a backup, that means she’s still out there.”
“She is.”
“I know. I just said that.” Hiva finished her drink and slid it over to Kurogiri for a refill. “I always wondered how you got caught, Ayame. I mean, you got away with so much so for long. How could someone as good as you get caught? Then it hit me.” Hiva smacked the bar, ignoring the shot of pain that went up her arm. “You let yourself get caught. If you just disappeared, people would have to look into you to find you, so it’d get out anyway, right? You went away when he got Aiko. Your ‘sacrifice’ of Sero allowed you to watch me. All For One wanted you to watch Aiko because he thought you did a good job with me. I kept seeing you because you were trying to learn how to train her through me. You picked through my brain to learn what Eraser Head and Present Mic were teaching me.” Hiva smiled at Ayame’s irritated twitch at the sound of the men’s hero names. “She still had the same problems as me, though. Sometimes you just go off like a bomb. Meeting was entirely by accident, a clumsy move on your part. You didn’t know what to do, so you faked her death and made Shinso make a fake body to sell it. If she just disappeared, I’d look for her. However, you couldn’t help yourself from trying to rub in that you’re smarter, so you hid a trail because you knew I could find it but not put it together. I did, though. Now skip to the car accident. That actually had me stumped, so good job. It was a warning. Gin told me it was All For One, but I think it was you. You wanted me to know you were on your way because you wanted to scare me. You wanted to play your little mind games. Then U.A., and now we’re here.”
“That explained everything but how you’d know we’d be at your summer camp,” Tomura spoke up.
“Easy. You’re a sociopath who loves to leave a trail of fear behind him,” Hiva answered. "This invasion of my camp allowed you to get the two things you really wanted." She turned to Ayame. “So, besides the family drama, how’d I do?” Ayame rolled her eyes at Hiva’s proud smirk. “You don’t have to say it. I know I did great.”
---
“That’s it,” Hitoshi finished. The others sat stunned.
“How reliable can this be?” Hizashi wondered aloud. “Hiva’s smart, but this is outlandish.”
“I have to go.” All eyes went to Hanta when he stood. Denki was quick to follow his friend down the steps and out the door.
"Oh, did I forget to mention that it's a triangle, not a corner?" Shota asked Hizashi. Hizashi hummed for a second and then gasped.
"They- Two-!" Shota nodded. "Huh. How'd you get that before me?" Outside, Denki was chasing after Hanta.
“Sero. Sero!” Denki caught his wrist and forced him to turn around. “Are you okay?” Hanta frowned, and the blonde nodded. “Right, dumb question.” Hanta ran a hand through his hair, and Denki watched, then quickly released his wrist. “Um, do you want me to walk home with you?” Hanta just sighed and shook his head, worrying Denki with his panicked look. “Do you want to go home?” Hanta threw his arms out with a shrug.
“I don’t know! I have no idea! That was a lot… there was already a lot… My life is literally crumbling, and that didn’t help!” Hanta smacked himself in the forehead, and turned on his heels, walking off in a random direction with Denki trotting after him. “What did I let her get herself into? Why did I do anything?”
“Oh, wow. You’re spiraling,” Denki observed. “That’s not good. You’re supposed to be the stable one.”
“Not so stable now, Kami!” Denki watched Hanta mumble to himself, switching from Spanish to Japanese and back. “What is the word I’m looking for?!” Denki jumped at the sudden loud question.
“I don’t even know what you’re saying!” Denki cried. “Do you?”
“No, I do not!” Hanta came to a stop and huffed.
“Do you know where you’re going?” Denki questioned cautiously.
“Of course, I don’t.” Hanta threw his arms in the air, and Denki placed a comforting hand on his shoulder.
“Why don’t you come to my place?” he offered. “You need a breather.” Hanta took a deep breath.
“I think I had a meltdown,” he muttered. Denki tilted his head from side to side.
“Just a little one. It happens.”
---
Hanta watched Denki move around the kitchen with a small smile. “Can I do something?”
“Sero, we’ve been here five minutes, you managed to ask that at the end of each minute, and if you ask a sixth time, I will cut your hand off,” Denki threatened, pulling a knife from the knife block to prove it. Hanta put his hands up in surrender, and Denki sheathed the knife.
“Thanks for inviting me.” Denki nodded.
“You needed to be around someone, and family’s stressful,” Denki stated. “I can’t imagine having siblings on top of my mom. You poor thing.” Hanta chuckled a bit.
“They really aren’t that bad,” Hanta defended. “I like to think I taught them pretty good.” Denki smiled as he placed a mug in front of Hanta.
“One man job, see?” Hanta chuckled and nodded, twirling the string of the tea bag between his fingers.
“Speaking of family, where is your mom?”
“Nightshift,” Denki answered. “You wanna talk or…” Hanta suddenly felt a wave of guilt wash over him. Here Denki was helping him, and he didn’t know what he and Hiva were talking about only a few nights before. He couldn’t keep leaving him out of the loop, especially if it involved him.
“Yeah, but not about that.” Denki tilted his head. “Hiva and I have kinda been talking.”
“Duh, you’re best friends,” Denki said, stating the obvious.
“No, we said we liked each other… romantically, I guess.” Denki’s face fell, and Hanta panicked. “Wait, wait, wait! It’s not like that! She was gonna talk to you, but didn’t want to make you anxious until she knew her feelings more…? God, what am I saying?! I’m really out of it.” Denki just continued to stare at him, now with confusion. “I like she, she like me maybe, I don’t know! She like you, and I like you, too!”
“Wait, what?” Denki finally interrupted.
“Oh, now you make me shut up!” Hanta crossed his arms and sat back in his chair. “Listen, I know you don’t like me, but when she gets back, we wanted to talk to you about it.”
"Who said I didn't like you?"
“I finally get a proper sentence out, and that’s all-” Hanta stopped, words processing. “Wait, huh?”
“Hiva’s not good at emotion. She said that before,” Denki continued. “It’s a good idea for her to wait until she knows. I could tell there was something there, though.”
“Oh,” was all Hanta could say for a good minute. “That didn’t make you jealous?” Denki shook his head.
“No,” he replied. “I thought it would’ve, and I thought it should’ve, but I wasn’t jealous. Then I think I realized who she was falling for and started to do the same.” Hanta looked away, and Denki chuckled.
“We- We’re good, right?” Denki nodded. “You’re not mad?” Denki shook his head.
“I mean, I wasn’t being completely honest either. Left somethings out just like she did.”
“You can still be mad.”
“Why do you want me to be mad at you about everything?” Denki asked.
“I… I don’t,” Hanta stuttered.
“Then stop trying to convince me to. I’m not, and I don’t want to be.” Denki stood. “Come on. Let’s watch a movie.” Hanta watched him take the few steps to the living room and then joined him.
“You know, people don’t give you enough credit.”
“For what?"
“Everything. You’re a lot smarter than they think and a really good person.” Denki smiled and slowly let himself fall into Hanta’s side.
“Thank you.”
