I'm 100% sure that Gwyn and Azriel are mates, but 99% sure about them being endgame, the 1% is because Sarah J Maas is a bit crazy (if you know what I mean), but do you know why the 99%?

Because Azriel only wanted Morrigan because he thinks maybe she could be his mate, and he forgot about her very quickly when he found out that his two brothers are linked to the Archerons, so now he started wanting Elain because NOW HE THINKS SHE IS HIS MATE!!

Not naming the blog (because I’ve blocked them), but there’s someone who is just FLOODING the Elriel, Gwynriel, and Elucien tags with things that toxic people in the fandom have done/said.

Which on one hand, sure, it can be helpful to know these things have happened and make comments on how we can be better as a fandom.

But at the same time, for the last two days that has been the MAJORITY of what I’ve seen in the Elriel tag. I don’t really think it’s helpful when it’s to that level. In fact, at that point I think it would just create more discourse and more drama. Especially when some of the posts are things people have said/done months or even years ago.

Idk, something about it just doesn’t feel right.

I believe that besides Clotho triggering the image of Gwyn (because she states of what joy it would bring her), Azriel leaving that sentence open could've been another trigger to that image, and what joy Gwyn would bring to him

Okay so I’ve been re reading the ACOTAR series as my friends have been reading it and I don’t know how I missed the most obvious tie between Elain and Lucien. Lucien is the son of Helion and heir to the day court. It’s clear from reading the series Maas takes inspiration from many cultures and folktales, and Helion seems most inspired by the Greek god Apollo—god of the sun. In addition to being the god of the sun Apollo also had the gift of prophecy.

Elain is a seer. She too has the gift of prophecy. Mates are meant to be equals and perfectly compliment each other so of course it makes sense that the heir to day court has a mate who is a seer.
