Story: Horse is a War-Horse, and she and her young Rider are fleeing monstrous creatures with an artefact, when the horde catch up to them, and Horse ends up in another rainbow world, and all she wants it to get back to her rider, and a war-horse and a rainbow world don't mix as shes pulled into a little crazy Centaur herd who agree to help her find Rider... and omg it's a journey.

It was VERY enjoyable, and I will say it does have a happy ending! but if you dont like 'Comfortable Dug', then you're lost XD

Oh, this book is catnip. No wonder everyone recommends it! It's so tiny I absolutely did read it all yesterday. It's got a hefty seasoning of my favourite tropes (sad abused child leaves home forever to Do Art and find a better family, plus telepathic animals, yeeeeeah that's the stuff!) and some tasty worldbuilding to boot.

Pern is really Ireland But With Dragons, huh? Just a lot less green. Love that the schooling is done through harper songs. I would've enjoyed school a lot more and probably retained a lot more if more learning was done through rhythm and rhyme, gotta say.

Menolly seemed to have a bit of that 'not like other girls' vibe but it dissipated once she got to Benden Wyr. Her friendship with Mirrim was cute! I didn't have any Kylara or Brekke-level complaints for this one.

9/10, knocking a singular point off for being too tiny and not terribly complex.

As the gondola rose to the top, Squidward couldn't help but sneak a glance at the magnificent view of Bikini Bottom below. The sight took his breath away, and for a moment, all his worries melted away. The day continued with SpongeBob and Squidward trying their luck at various carnival games. Squidward's attempts were lackluster, aiming without enthusiasm and missing the targets. SpongeBob, on the other hand, danced around with a childlike glee, somehow managing to win every prize he laid his sponge hands on. As they indulged in cotton candy and ice cream, Squidward watched the sea creatures around him, young and old, laughing and enjoying the festivities. He couldn't help but feel a warmth in his heart, a sense of camaraderie he'd never experienced before. The final event of the day was the grand fireworks display. Undeterred by Squidward's sullenness, SpongeBob started strumming the guitar, creating an infectious melody that captivated Squidward. SpongeBob's enthusiasm and passion for music were contagious. Before Squidward knew it, he found himself tapping his tentacles along with the rhythm. As Squidward began tapping, their friends emerged from behind the coral reef one by one, each carrying a different musical instrument. Patrick Star brought his drums, Sandy Cheeks had her saxophone, and even Mr. Krabs arrived with his trusty accordion. They formed an impromptu band, and soon the sounds of upbeat music filled the air. Squidward could feel his heart lift, and a smile began to spread across his face. For the first time in a long while, he was genuinely having fun. SpongeBob, still playing his guitar, danced around like a jellyfish in a trance. He was determined to bring joy to Squidward's life, even if it meant annoying him in the process. And it seemed to be working. As the band played, Squidward's tentacles moved in rhythm with the music, and his voice joined in with the others. The music transformed into a symphony of laughter and joy. They continued playing and dancing until the sun began to set. Exhausted but exhilarated, the band sat down on a patch of coral, where Squidward finally spoke up. "You know what, SpongeBob?
