I always wondered why it was that Mor and Amren knew about the bond, but the bat boys didn’t. Wondered if Rhys had only told the girlies to get some advice on how to handle it, but thought it was strange we only found out how Mor found out (it was the first words he said to her after not seeing her for 50 years). But this, this moment, is when Amren smells the mating scent on them. And he just nods. And both Feyre and I experienced this like total oblivious idiots and completely missed the WEIGHT of what this moment carries OMGGGG

About a million years late to the game but I have finally acquired A Court of Wings and Ruin . By some miracle I’ve managed to keep myself away from all the spoilers but I’ve definitely noticed the hype. Let’s see if it lives up to that. Well, ok. Let’s be real. When has Sarah J. Maas ever disappointed? (other than with Tamlin’s existence) but ANYWAY. I just know this book is going to fuck with me. But I mean. I’m living for it.

Can we talk about the fact that feyre was 14-15 in the first book and at this point had been taking care of her family and hunting for them for years. And taught herself everything she knows and when she came to the spring court learned what she could and used her knowledge of hunting and the forest to protect herself and try to discover escape hatches. Yet tamlin still had the audacity to treat her as an ignorant child and Rhys and the inner circle are the only ones who truly saw her intelligence and the effects that everything that had gone poorly in her life has had on her? And what do they do? They don't coddle her because they recognize that isn't what she needs. She needs normalcy and routine and a purpose. So they give her one. They give her back the life that was taken from her so long ago. They give her freedom from the chains that used to bind her.
