Batman tells Gordon that he doesn't kill. Thinking that it's a legality issue, Gordon deputizes Batman and gives him a gun and badge. Batman of course doesn't use the gun and just figures Gordon is stressed.
After Joker kills a Robin, Gordon starts to deputize the Batfam members.
Gordon: Next time you see that clown. Take. The. Shot. Rookie.
Robin (Tim, tiny ass 14 year old holding a 45 magnum): Umm... Yes sir?
Batman (plus all the Rogues, minions, and citizens of Gotham when Robin shows up with a 45 Magnum):
funniest thing about house md is that house has like every flavor of trauma responses and is cut deep by shit so much in his life that he in fact creates new ones. except over getting shot. like someone literallly walked in and shot him twice trying to kill him. and then he never brings it up again after it happens. not like he’s burying it and repressing. like it straight up did not phase him and he went right back to ruining patients lives afterwards. king.
Ya know how we all collectively agree that the Lazarus pits are just ectoplasm? Well.. apparently it’s canon in DC Vs Vampires that the pits can reverse vampirism and turn someone back into a human…
Guys… GUYS -
Just imagine Danny wandering the ghost zone and ooh natural portal? Yoink.
It just so happens that the portal leads to the DC vs vampires dimension and well Vlad looks enough like a stereotypical vampire that when some dude with fangs tries to kill him who can fault Danny for a little ectoplasm blast?
And wait a minute- what just happened to the guy he shot? He’s… human now? H u h
Turns out when you shoot a vampire with ectoplasm it ALSO cures the vampirism…
The real question is : did Danny happen to land in the midst of a dramatic reveal of Dick Grayson as the vampire king and oops- no more vampire 🤩
ok, i have finally gotten to season 5, and i have got to say one thing. this fanbase infantilizes martin to Hell and back and i do NOT understand how you can do it if you finished this damn podcast, i understand hes very sweet and he has a really cute voice but from 165 to 175 i think i have heard him pretty cheerfully ask jon to kill people about twice per episode on average,
something i wish i'd see more in trigun fanarts is people having vash speak their native/non-english languages completely unprompted, ive seen folks have him speak french, which he canonically knows, but i really do believe he's a polyglot. mostly because of that one time in the desert when he saw the samurai and wanted to greet him in japanese but struggled to remember how to even say hello.
my headcanon is that rem had them learn as many languages as possible but with the big fall and so many people dying, which i think is what led english to became No man's land main (or even only?) language, means that vash (and knives!) both got horribly out of practice and are various sort of rusty in every others languages.
what im saying if there's any pun or joke you've been dying to write but just doesn't work in english vash (and knives!!) are right there!
