So, I wanted to share this weird thing so I don't forget it.

I tend to randomly wake up after a few hours of sleep, it's only important here because I happened to wake up at about 1-2 AM after falling asleep just a few hours earlier. However in those few hours I was asleep, it didn't feel like it. It felt almost like I was awake as I saw this image of a figure I can barely describe. Not because it was so terrifying I don't want to describe it, but because I only saw this things torso.

It looked human, for sure, but I don't think it was. I couldn't see the face almost like I had to keep my back turned and only see through my peripheral. Just the hands or just the arms. Like, if I tried to see anymore I just couldn't.

So then, I woke up. I didn't move at all, I just opened my eyes and in that exact moment my door opened. This normally isn't too strange considering I live with family, it's not weird for them to come in my room even at 3am just because they're, unfortunately, up. Though, whoever--or whatever--just opened my door, stood there, and then closed it. Strangely enough, I didn't even hear footsteps after and started to get admittedly a little freaked out.

Why? Because that thing I saw when my eyes were closed didn't have footsteps. I just knew it was behind me and either couldn't see it at all or could only see parts of it.

I don't usually care when my family comes in my room for whatever reason, but this time I'm definitely asking if anyone did.
