Mini Astro Notes pt 3 - Houses Edition

🏠 Planets in 7H are what you (subconsciously) look for in a partner or focus on when interacting with other people. For example, Pluto in 7th - tend to look for power and intense attraction in a person. Jupiter in 7th - tend to look at the good side and enthusiastic aura in a person. But this is all subconscious.

🏠 Planets in 1H are what you (subconsciously) wonder if people see in you. For example, Moon in 1st - you subconsciously wonder if people can sense your emotions or see what you're feeling. Just remembered that two guys' sun that has a crush on me has their sun falls in my 10th House. This is why I see them as a professional in their work, people who deserve respect, admirable people. We went to vocational high school with the same major (software engineering), I admit I see them as an expert.

Meanwhile, my sun falls in person A's 4th house, and person B's 5th house. It means person A sees me as his home, that's why he always seek comfort to me. Person B however sees me as his love of his life, he has a crush on me for 3 years until now.

Also, person A's juno falls in my 1st house, and person B's juno falls in my 7th house. Yall already know what that means, I'm too shy to explain it.

5th vs 7th house relationships

people often look to the seventh house for questions of love. it does contain some information about it, but one of my little hot takes is that the fifth house is better for romantic questions.

in ye olden times, marriage was not really very much about love at all. in fact, marriage for love is a fairly new concept compared with the span of the history of marriage. and for that matter, if we are honest with ourselves, we probably still know many people who are in marriages more for convenience, expectation, or simple survival rather than because of true love.

for this reason i do not really consider the 7th house a love house. i include it in love/synastry readings because of the associations with venus, libra, and commitments, but i never leave out the 5th house if it is a question involving romance.

the 5th is more creative, fun, playful, and romantic. it's solar by its affiliation with leo, so it encompasses art... including the art of seduction! it's also got a less traditional distinctly venusian tone.

meanwhile the 7th house encompasses partnerships, interactions with others where they serve as your mirror. so this does certainly include marriage! but this is also where we find our best friends, our business partners, and some of our enemies. indeed, certain lovers may not even appear here, if we never share a commitment with them.

i am looking into the notion that juno is the actual ruler or perhaps co-ruler of libra for these reasons, in the same way that i have come to consider ceres at home in virgo. more on that later, perhaps...

Some of the most kind people Ive ever met had had Jupiter conjunct Moon/Venus. Pure, genuine kindness.
