Note
Tumblr media
I wanted to try and make a possible mc ✨
He is a very stressed deity of love just doing his best.He just needs his tea to cope.
Very sweet and caring in a tough love kind of way. He shows it by looking after the ros.
And because I can’t make choices he’s going down the Kyan/Niran/Elex/Hayle Route.
Oh wow 🤩 I love his whole style so much, it’s so pretty!!
I also relate to him very much, because I too, am just trying to do my best and need my tea to cope csjsjfkf. I love the whole tough love aspect, the ROs probably need some of that 👀
I just know that route is going to end me to write, but I’m excited for it!!

After a few weeks, you’re forced to acknowledge you were wrong about Coriolanus.
His mere presence assuages your hurt, and none of his actions bear a hint of impropriety.
He’s simply being a friend, comforting you and supporting you in a time of need.
His visits grow more frequent.
You’re amazed he even finds time between the University and his apprenticeship with Dr. Gaul. Still, Coryo never misses tea time with you, sometimes even bringing books and sweets. You’re thankful for the time he spends doting on you, even if you hate keeping him from his studies. You know how eager to succeed he’s always been.
But you can’t deny you missed the feeling of having a brother, of having this person who cares for you, looks out for you and protects you unconditionally.
And while you’re aware Coriolanus isn’t your actual brother, having him besides you helps alleviate the weight of grief and loneliness. Being with him makes you feel closer to Janus. You’re also solaced by the knowledge it’s what your departed brother would have wanted.
There is one person however who isn’t too keen on the rekindled bond between you and Coriolanus Snow.
“You’ve been spending a lot of time with him,” William notes, tracing the lines in your palm.
You’re both lying on the couch in the sunroom, your back against William’s chest, fingers interlaced with his. Sunlight spills from the stained glass in the ceiling, painting your fiancé’s brown curls in bronze hues.
This is a moment of tranquility you’ve longed for, a sliver of calm amidst the storm and chaos wedding planning has turned out to be. You reckoned it’d be easier than it has been. Instead, it seems nothing ever goes right. Between incidents with the cake, your wedding dress somehow being lost by the store, and the venue perpetually being booked…you’ve grown disheartened and exhausted by the entire process.
It’s almost like some higher force is trying to prevent you marrying William. It’s ludicrous, of course. But the ceaseless string of bad luck is beginning to drain your hope that your wedding will happen before the year ends.
You and William even had to push back the date. There was no choice as hurdles kept emerging.
So you bask in your fiancé’s presence, soaking his warmth and familiar smell, reminding yourself why you’re going through so much trouble. Marrying William is worth it.
“Yeah. He’s my friend,” you state casually.
“Your friend. Baby…” There’s a brief pause during which William appears deep in thought. When he speaks again, it’s with a softer tone. “At the risk of sounding jealous, the way he’s looking at you…are you sure that he knows that?”
His words make you sit up straight.
“William,” you admonish, taken aback by his preposterous insinuation.
Coriolanus’ a gentleman. He hasn’t made any moves towards you and he wouldn’t. Sejanus trusted him and you trust him too.
Scratching the back of his neck, he sighs.
“I’m just saying. We’re getting married soon, and everything’s been so…tumultuous. I just want to make sure that you won’t…”
You search his forest gaze. Shock fills you at the doubts you find lurking there.
“That I won’t what?” You give a light punch to his chest. “Get cold feet? William, are you mad?”
His shoulders slump. “I know your parents wish I was from a great house like him.”
William looks away and you put your hands on his face, drawing his focus back to you.
“It doesn’t matter what my parents think. I love you.”
He smiles, that beautiful sunny smile that blows a warm breeze through your chest every time.
He grabs your hands and kisses them.
“I love you too, sweet girl.”
“William, you’re good and kind and caring. You’re all I’ve ever wanted.” You hold his eyes. “He’s just a friend, I promise you. You…You’re my future.”
William studies you, love and devotion illuminating his features. His lips then collide with yours. He nudges you down on the plush beige upholstery, humming low in his throat.
When his hands find their way below your skirt, you push against his chest.
He immediately stops.
Your hot, rapid exhales mingle as you steady your breath.
“You know I’d rather we wait for our wedding night,” you mutter apologetically. It’s not the first time things got hot and heavy between you and William and you slowed them down. You know how frustrating it has to be for him and you commend his patience. “ I know it’s old-fashioned but I…”
He quiets you with a tender kiss on the forehead.
“No, it’s okay,” he says, holding hands with you. “I’m the one who’s sorry. I got carried away.” Pink dusts his cheeks as he adds, “You just smell so good and you’re so beautiful.”
A smile breaks across your face. “You’re not too bad yourself, pretty boy.”
He tilts his head and laughs.
“How am I supposed to keep my hands to myself when you talk to me like that?” He bites his lip, his lids dipping to half-mast. “Can I at least get another kiss?” he whispers suavely.
“Hm, we’ll see about that…” you mumble, closing your own eyes.
“Apologies, hope I’m not  interrupting anything?”
Coriolanus’ sharp inflection shatters the spell, making you leap away from William.
Heat nestles in your cheeks as you rise to your feet, hastily smoothing the wrinkles in your dress. Your fiancé clears his throat and runs a hand through his tousled locks.
“No, we’re…William was leaving,” you stammer, struggling to meet Coriolanus’ stark blue gaze.
William’s brows squeeze together at that. But you shoot him a glare that pulls a deep sigh from him. He nods and pulls you to him one more time.
He kisses you but you note it lasts much longer than usual, his fingers curling around your waist possessively.
Embarrassment flares inside you that this is happening right in front of your friend.
When he releases you, you’re breathless.
“Coriolanus,” William greets stiffly as he brushes past the blond.
“William,”Coriolanus replies, his tone somehow icier.
Once your fiancé has left, a weary exhale floats from your mouth.
“I don’t understand why you two can’t just get along. You both matter to me.”
Coriolanus smirks. “Oh, princess. You wouldn’t understand.”
“What wouldn’t I understand?” you inquire, blinking up at him curiously.
His tight-lipped smile expands as he gauges you.
“Nothing.”
You scrunch your nose, displeased by his answer. He’s always so cryptic. A chuckle peels from his lips at your sour expression. His knuckles sweep over your cheek.
“There should never be a frown on such a pretty face.” He digs inside his satchel before retrieving a slim, leather-bound book. He places it in your hands as you gape at him, puzzled.
“Here, I brought you this. This will cheer you up.”
You examine the book. Surprise mingles with elation when you notice the words on the cover. The engraved letters spell out a familiar title. It’s one of your favorite books from when you were younger. It bewilders you that he even remembers. As if no time has passed.
“Oh my god! How did you…” An excited squeal leaves you. Then your voice lulls to a whisper. “It’s a first edition, Coryo.”
“It was printed and bound before the war,” he explains. “It wasn’t easy to dig up.”
Your brows rise. “An antique. You shouldn’t have.” You cradle the book against your chest. “You’re too good to me.”
His mouth quirks lopsidedly.
“Anything for you, princess.”
You both sit down for tea, cakes and macaroons. Time flies as you chat about everything and nothing with your friend. As always, you do most of the talking as he dutifully listens, only interjecting to ask you to elaborate on a particular point.
No matter what you jabber on about, his interest never appears to wane.
You eventually land on the matter of your wedding planning. You share all the troubles you and William have had and Coriolanus hums in response.
“I’m very sorry to hear that.” He sips from his cup of Earl Grey. “How…unfortunate.”
He then pauses, seeming to ponder something. “I have a proposition.”
Your brow arches in question.
“Clemmie is throwing a party tonight. Let me take you, get your mind off of all this.”
Your lips part. Clemensia? A party? None of it sounds enticing to you.
“I’m not sure…” you trail off, your eyes finding the floor.
“What better way to cheer you up than a party, princess?” Coriolanus’ voice mellows as he adds, “You can’t stay cooped up here forever.”
Words falter on your tongue as your eyes swell with unshed tears.
“What’s wrong?” he asks, concern oozing from his gentle tone.
You shake your head.
“You’re crying,” he insists, reaching over the table to lift your chin.
“I’m sorry.”
“Don’t apologize,” he says sternly. “Talk to me.”
His unwavering  inflection nudges you to admit, “I’m just scared.”
“What are you scared of, princess?”
You suck in a shaky breath.
“Every part of this house, every nook and cranny carries a memory I have with Janus.” You glance about the sunroom. Here alone you can count so many hiding spots from games you and your brother played when you were kids. “It’s easy, keeping him close here. It’s just that…”
“You’re scared to move on,” Coriolanus finishes for you. His thumb glides over your cheek, collecting a tear you didn’t realize had spilled over. “But you have to.”
“Sejanus wouldn’t want you to wilt away in this house like one of your roses.”
You mull over his words. You suppose he’s right but you’re still not convinced. Parties like the kind Clemensia is fond of hosting aren’t exactly your scene.
A lame excuse flows from your lips.
“I don’t even know what to wear.”
“Then I’ll choose for you,” he replies without hesitation.
“What?”
“Let’s go to your room.”
Before you can protest, he seizes your hand and drags you upstairs.
“Wait, Coryo…”
He ignores you, making his way to your room with brisk strides you can barely maintain pace with. Once he’s there, he rummages through your closet. You let him do it, half-skeptical, half-jaded. Most of these garments weren’t picked by you anyway, but by your mother based on whatever fashion trend raged in the Capitol at the time. And those trends change every other season. You since long gave up on trying to keep abreast of them.
“Hm, this one is perfect,” he announces, drawing a red number from the closet.
You gape at the dress he chose. It’s a slip satin dress the color of blood. The waist is cinched with a thin belt and the lace sleeves, adorned with embroidered flowers, flow elegantly.
It’s beautiful, radiating a timeless elegance…but the neckline is low, displaying more cleavage than you’re used to.
Your cheeks warm. “Are you sure?”
“Just trust me. Try it.”
Your eyes bulge but you relent, something about his tone curbing your impulse to argue. “Okay,” you quaver.
Trying not to squirm beneath his intense stare, you grab the dress from him and slip behind the wooden divider screen.
Chewing on your lip, you peek above the folding screen.
“Maybe you could…get out while I change?” you suggest while fumbling with the lace strings of your day dress.
Coriolanus casually sits on your bed, his crimson coat pooling around him. He leans back and spreads his large hands over your bed sheets. A small smile dances along his pink lips.
“I won’t look, I promise. Don’t you trust me, princess?”
“I do but…”
“But what?” he challenges, cocking his head in question.
Stumped, you come up short of a decent answer. “Nothing,” you mumble.
You shed your clothes quickly to try on the red dress. The whole time, you can feel the weight of Coriolanus’ unnerving scrutiny on the other side of the wooden screen.
He gives you a sluggish onceover when you step out from behind the screen. Your skin prickles as you shake.
“Hm nice, twirl for me.”
His blue eyes sparkle when you do as he says. He gets to his feet. He slowly strolls towards you.
Once he’s in front of you, he also arranges a few wisps of your hair in a way that he likes.
“Gorgeous,” he lauds when he’s done.
He tilts your chin up, his gaze corralling yours.
“See? All you have to do is to trust me, princess.” His deep voice dips to dulcet tones. “Just trust me and, I promise you, everything will work out exactly the way it’s supposed to.”
Tumblr media
“You came,” Coriolanus points out, that signature smirk of his adorning his lips.
“I promised I would,” you defend.
He snorts. “I’m glad. Saves me the trouble of having to drag you here myself, princess.”
Nervous laughter peals from your lips at his strange joke and the intent way his eyes rest on you. For a while, he doesn’t say anything, drinking in the sight of you in the crimson dress. The very same one he picked himself.
He then loops your arm around his, bending near your ear to whisper,
“Let's re-introduce you to everyone.”
You look around yourself, curious as you’ve never been to Clemensia’s house. The atmosphere is more intimate than you expected. The only source of dim light in the Dovecote’s sumptuous living room emanates from candelabras scattered all about, the wobbly candlelight casting twisting shadows over the damask walls. The crackle of the logs burning in the gigantic fireplace mingles with the soft piano tune filling the living room.
“Coriolanus, did you bring a ghost to my party?” Clemensia jests when she sees you. Her expression then turns serious as she studies you. To your utter surprise, she wraps her arms around you and hugs you. You freeze, too stunned to return the gesture. The two of you were never close, the opposite in fact. It all stemmed from the way she and her friends ostracized you and your brother in school. Maybe it’s all water under the bridge now that you’re older. “Oh, you poor thing,” she laments. “I’m here for whatever you need, okay?”
You nod stiffly. “O-Okay.”
Coriolanus hardly conceals his amusement at the interaction, mirth swaying in his cobalt orbs.
He and Clemensia keep introducing you to people. Some you recognize; some you don’t.
It makes you realize how much you missed.
After a while, faces blend into each other. You end up nodding and smiling to most of the small talk, your attention span dwindling by the minute.
Eventually, you decide to retreat to the bar to take a break. The barkeep nudges a drink your way and you thank him quietly. You swirl it in your hand, your thoughts drifting. Maybe this is what a return to normalcy must feel like. Slightly strange and overwhelming.
You gasp as Coriolanus appears at your side. “Are you alright, princess? Too much?”
Your startled reaction draws a chuckle from him.
A slow exhale drops from your chest.
“A little,” you confess. “But…I’m glad you took me. A change of scenery is nice.”
It occurs to you that you haven’t had time to wallow in your sadness, too caught in conversation with other people. However frivolous the topics, it did keep your mind off of things. No thoughts of dead brothers have crossed your mind tonight.
It might not be much but it’s a start, you suppose.
Coriolanus’ brow curves teasingly. “See? This is why you should trust me.”
“Don’t push it, Snow. You’re on thin ice.”
A laugh bursts from his chest but, as he peers down at your drink, all humor vanishes from his face. He swipes it from you and sniffs it.
“Hm, what’s wrong?”
A frown puckers his forehead.
“Who served you this drink?” he rumbles.
You shrug. “I don’t know. It was just…brought to me.”
“There’s something in it.”
“What?” Ice spills in your veins. “Oh my god.”
Your mind whirls as you peek at your surroundings, paranoia creeping in. You wonder who could have done this and why. Just to mess with you? Or maybe even worse…
Your gut sinks. Thank god Coryo put a stop to whatever awful thing could have happened to you.
He puts his hand on your arm reassuringly. “I’ll bring you a clean one.”
“T-Thanks,” you stutter. “Just nothing with alcohol in it, please.”
“Of course.”
He returns with a brand new drink in a jiffy.
“Thanks for looking out for me,” you beam before taking a sip. You were starting to get a little parched.
“Always, princess.” He grins at you while you take another sip.
A wave of queasiness suddenly hits you.
The room starts to spin around you, blurring into crooked shapes and colors. You try to stand but your knees buckle instantly.
If it weren’t for Coriolanus swiftly catching you you’d be a heap on the floor.
“Coryo…I’m not feeling so good,” you slur, struggling to speak. Cotton seems to fill your mouth, the mere act of forming words demanding great effort.
“It’s okay, lean on me,” he says, slipping his arm around your waist.
“Head…heavy.”
“You’re alright. Just hold on to me, okay?”
“Okay.”
“Good girl.”
In a daze, you stagger along as he escorts you through a series of hallways and up a flight of stairs. You grow so weak that you slump against him. With ease, Coriolanus hoists you in his arms, carrying you bridal style the rest of the way.
You fall onto something heavenly soft that sinks under your weight. Like fluffy clouds.
Your thoughts collapse, muddy and haphazard as you blink up at the ceiling. An antique chandelier hangs from it.
“You just need a little bit of rest.”
Coriolanus’s voice is warped, disembodied almost.
“Rest…” you echo.
But as soon as your eyes begin to close, the feeling of your dress hiking upwards tugs you back to consciousness.
Befuddled, you look down. You’re welcomed by the sight of Coriolanus wedged between your parted legs, hands clasped around your thighs. His waistcoat and white blouse are gone, exposing his pale, broad chest.
“Coryo, what is happening-”
His soft lips cover yours, stifling your protests. His tall frame pins yours to the bed. He purrs against your lips, framing your jaw when you feebly pivot your head to the side.
When his lips free yours, your mouth still tingles with the forcefulness of his bruising kiss.
He returns to the space between your thighs.
You lie back, your bones like jelly, as you feel the delicate material of your panties sliding down your legs.
Your brows twitch. “Coryo…”
His blue eyes glow strangely in the darkness. A chill slithers through your core.
“Shh, don’t worry about it, princess, just sleep.”
You want to move. You feel you have to. But you can’t.
“I…”
The syllable dies in a sharp gasp as Coriolanus’ cool tongue drags down your slit. Long fingers spreading you open, he traces wet circles around your bundle of nerves. He rasps against your center and the vibrations rock through your core. Your breath hitches. Your chest tightens. Heat builds in your stomach as he makes you dangle off the cliff of pleasure. He soon adds a finger and you cry out.
Coriolanus pumps in and out of you, gauging your expression as he grazes a particular spot that has your toes flexing. You writhe over the sheets, eyes blindly rising to the ceiling.
You clench around his finger, your cunt clinging to him reflexively.
He sinks a second digit inside you and you whine, back arching at the abrupt stretch.
Short, chaotic breaths rush through your lungs as he works you open. His slow, meticulous drags have your chest rising and falling rapidly.
Your legs quake as the coils in your belly grow unbearably tight and hot.
He stops as you’re on the cusp of your undoing. Your boneless frame sags onto the sheets.
He leans back and you hear the rustle of his pants coming undone. You get a faint sense of wrong trying to pierce through the haziness, but you can’t grasp at it.
Still, your fingers stretch towards the edge of the bed, your body rolling to the side. The meek attempt is interrupted as Coriolanus yanks you back onto the sheets, snatching your wrists and pinning them above your head. His frame drapes over yours. The scent of roses coats your senses.
“We’re not done, princess,” he murmurs, his warm breath caressing your face.
A painful pressure starts prodding your entrance. He grunts, hovering above you as he pushes past your tight ring of muscles.
You feel as if you’ll tear as more of him buries inside you. Every second is agony, your core burning at the blunt intrusion.
A sigh of pleasure floats from his mouth when he reaches the hilt of you. He stays there a while, seeming to bask in the feeling of you around him.
When he starts to move, your eyes flutter open. He sets a steady pace right away, thrusting inside you as if his life depended on it. Wordless screams rip from your throat. He releases your wrists, his long fingers latching onto your waist instead.
Each of his slow, deep thrusts sparks warm tingles through your body.
Sweat collects between his brows as he grunts in pleasure.
“I knew you’d feel just perfect around me,” he rasps, delighted.
His cadence quickens, his hand digging bruising grooves over your hip. Choked moans spill from your throat. His other hand crawls beneath the thin satin of your dress, fondling your breast and flicking your pebbled nipple. His hands feel everywhere at once and that sense of wrong rolls over you again.
“Ever since I saw you in this dress, I’ve been dying to fuck you in it,” he confesses, lust bleeding in his fevered tone.
The mattress squeaks as he relentlessly rams into you.
A uniquely sharp thrust has your slick walls tighten around him. His cock stirs, a throaty moan pouring from his chest.
The repeated friction against your soft spots has you seeing stars.
A feral glint bounces in his blue eyes as he admires your panting form, lost in the throes of pleasure. Strangled shouts escape you as another wave of pleasure crashes over your frame.
His pace slows, sloppier than before as his cock twitches between your walls. His eyes roll back as he sighs, tension draining from his muscular frame. Hot ropes spill inside you, overflowing until you feel the warmth dripping along your thighs.
Your mouth wobbles, silent tears streaming down your face.
Coriolanus cradles your face, kissing away each of your tears with tender brushes of his lips.
“Shh, don’t cry,’ he mumbles. “It’s okay, princess. I’ve got you.” His cock stiffens inside you once more. He lifts you and snaps his hips viciously into yours, drawing a broken whimper as he bottoms out. A lopsided smile blooms on his lips when he begins to move inside you. Helplessly, you lie back as he takes you again.
“I’ve got you, and I’m not letting you go.”

Kento Comes Home Drunk
Tumblr media
(help me find the Nanami artist in the banner, for crediting and thanks/permission!)
The reader manages her drunk, horny fiancé, Nanami Kento, like an absolute champ.
Link to the sequel here: Reader Comes Home Drunk
WARNINGS: 18+, soapy handjobs (F to M), mutual masturbation, cumshots, ethics of consent, Kento being a sloppy drunk
+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+
Hope he's having a good time, you mused to yourself, nursing a late cup of tea. The clock ticked well past midnight; you were the overnight on-call for Curse-related shenanigans, so whilst you had wanted to join Satoru, Shoko, Ino, Ijichi and Kento for drinks, you had, instead, waved Kento off, and settled in for a night with your phone on loud, and late-night game shows.
+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+
"Hate to see you leave," you'd sighed at 6pm, bobbing upwards for a kiss. He had traded his work attire for a buttoned black shirt, and simple dark jeans. Effortlessly handsome. You buried your face in his chest, breathing his cologne, and gave him a playful shove on the chest, like trying to push a truck.
He stepped backwards, with a lopsided smile and his hand reached out to pinch your chin affectionately.
"But love to watch me go?" You winked at him. You were wearing his favourite outfit; your oldest pyjamas. He found something so sexy about you being comfy. You preened at him, cradling your first tea of the night.
"You know it." He chuckled, but became serious immediately after.
"Call me if you're called out overnight. I want to be around if anything...happens." You nodded, hand on heart.
"Good luck beating off other women with sticks. Hope you've practiced your comedy rejections."
Kento hummed sagely, "Bold of you to assume I'm a man? My doctor said I shouldn't until the smallpox has cleared up? Undskyld, jeg taler ikke Japansk?"
You laughed, gave him one final kiss, and waved him out of the door.
+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+
Firmly lost in late-night TV and stifling a yawn, you noted the time; nearly 2am. As you smilingly hoped Kento was having fun, there was a firm tap at the door. You rose to answer it, and you paused to hear shuffles, bumps, hushed voices and fumbled keys. Rolling your eyes, you opened the door to a waft of whisky fumes dressed as your fiancé.
"Fiancé delivery service! Sorry for the late call ma'am, I tried to throw him over the gate but he was too heavy." Satoru heaved Shoko higher onto his back, and she groaned, face first in his shoulder. Ino and Ijichi swayed behind him, quietly huddled over Ino's phone and arguing over what food to order.
You smirked up at Kento, who was possibly more gorgeous while dishevelled, shirt half untucked, sleeves rolled, and stumbling into the hallway to kick his shoes off. He walked the confident walk of a drunk man back towards the door, possessively looping an arm around your waist and planting a sloppy kiss to your neck. Glaring at Satoru, he gripped the doorframe.
"I didn't need you to get me home, Gojo. I'm not drunk." Kento shuffled his whole face into your neck, gripping your pyjamas hard. You thanked Satoru, and sent him off to deliver the other drunkards home. Kento slammed the door hard, and backed you up against the wall while you laughed, slapping at his chest as he mumbled incoherent greetings against the side of your face.
"Behave yourself, buddy, you're hammered. Let's get you to bed." He groaned cheerfully, taking this as an invitation. His eyes met yours, unusually playful, and with a wink started to slowly unbutton his shirt. You rolled up a nearby newspaper and swatted his hands. Mouth watering at the sight of his abs, you sternly told yourself off.
"It is unethical to have sex with drunk people when you're sober. I don't know what you think you're getting tonight, but you should adjust your expectations." Bodily manhandling him, you turned him around while he grumbled at you, urging him towards the bathroom. He sat against the counter, bum accidentally setting off the tap in the sink, while you set the shower running. He stumbled and cursed behind you, trousers now wet and clinging to his muscled thighs. You heard him stripping while you waited for the water to heat up.
He thinks he's being sneaky, you thought to yourself as Kento pressed himself into your back, erection now full and visible against his underwear, and his hands slipped boldly under your pyjamas. While one hand reached up to cup your breast, the other snuck down to graze against the top of your mound. Involuntary shivers of pleasure ran down your spine, his wet mouth on your neck smelling of hot whisky and smoke.
"I have full capacity," Kento purred against your neck, tongue trailing up to your ear now, "and I'm so delighted my girl is still home, and I'd love nothing more than to make her the final taste on my tongue tonight." He stopped, musingly, his gaze at you still drunk and fluttering.
"Unless you don't want to," he pondered, taking his hands from your body. You pouted up at him, crossed arms and faux-angry, and nodded towards the shower.
"You smell like a bar. Behave yourself." Kento chuckled at you, cracking his neck and sighing, absent-mindedly palming his erection through his underwear. His cock sprang up as he finished undressing, pink-tipped and perfect, and you couldn't resist looking him up and down. He stepped into the shower, hot water cascading down his broad shoulders. Leaning one hand against the glass, he eyed you ruefully again.
"I'll manage myself then, shall I?" Still leaning on the glass, his eyes drifted shut as his other hand trailed down his body to grip his wet cock. "Please don't feel obliged to stay." You tried to appear unaffected, and moved to turn, but paused as you heard the slow wet strokes of him pumping himself under the running water. The drink lowered his guard, and he let out a long, slow moan of relief as he pleasured himself, now totally oblivious to your presence.
You felt heat pool between your legs, your arms covered in goosebumps and your nipples pebbling under the cool pyjama fabric. You considered your options.
Still stroking himself, and gradually increasing the pace, Kento was imagining you riding him on the sofa, like you had done only days before, his hands on your eager hips as you told him how deep you could feel him. He groaned to himself, desperate to feel that intense intimacy and pleasure again, enhanced by the alcohol running through his system.
Thoughts interrupted by a tap on the shower glass, he opened his eyes to you, leaning against the bathtub, one hand moving slow circles over your clit and another rolling your nipple between your fingers. Lower lip between your teeth, you blushed as you watched Kento pleasure himself.
Kento moaned unashamedly, swiping his thumb over his tip, cock twitching furiously in his hand.
"I'll return the favour, I promise," he begged you, eyes fully focused on where your hand moved steadily beneath your pyjamas, feeling his pulse quicken as you flushed and moaned, legs weakening against the tub, "I know what you're like when you come home drunk, you're a nightmare, saying no to you is a chore."
Lip still between your teeth you smiled at him, and, now feeling especially naughty, you moved to straddle the lip of the bathtub. Kento's jaw dropped as you began to ride it, sighing his name as if he wasn't there, now slipping your pyjama top down to release your aching breasts.
"Shit...please get in here before I lose my mind," and he stopped stroking himself, hand gripping the base of his cock as pre-cum trickled out, merging with the running water. His head was still spinning with the alcohol, but his senses were sharpened by your performance, so he watched you hungrily, determined that he'd cum inside you if he had any say in the matter.
You continued to hump the side of the bath, shuddering, eyes glinting with mischief.
"How can I trust that you know what you're asking?" You replied breathlessly, "It is unethical. I'd be taking advantage. I'd hate for you to regret me in the morning."
Kento grinned at you. "But watching me is fine? It seems worse somehow. Regret you," he scoffed. Humour aside, Kento shifted uncomfortably, grunting as his cock continued to throb in his hand. "Get in here," he wheedled, "and stop fucking the bathtub in front of me, and use me instead."
You acquiesced, resolve cracking. Stripping quickly, you slipped into the shower, pressing against him and immediately gripping his pulsing shaft. He stuttered and whined, hands pressed back against the glass, panting as you squeezed him.
"Alright, you win," you breathed against him, licking the flat of your tongue across his nipple, tasting the sweat and nightclub on his skin, "but I will absolutely remember this when I'm the one who's drunk and begging."
You spun Kento around again, and reached around his hips to grasp his cock just as he would as he pleasured himself. He continued to pant, whining and begging you for relief. You rubbed his tip with the flat of your palm, teasing, before starting to stroke from the head to the base of his cock in well-practiced motions.
Kento moaned and murmured sweet praise. His hands pressed against the glass, fingers flexing and unfolding as you fondled his bum lovingly, nipping his shoulder blades and sweeping your wet hand up and down his cock, gently twisting and squeezing at the head until he was gasping. You kept a steady pace, Kento occasionally thrusting forwards into your hand, calling you his good girl, his sweetest thing, being so good to him.
Head swimming with the alcohol, Kento gladly accepted the handjob, overwhelmed by the pleasure and steam of the shower. As he was about to turn to insist on bending you over against the shower wall, your second hand crept round to his throat and squeezed just hard enough for his moan to catch in his chest. Balls tightening and abdomen twitching, Kento gasped as you whispered into his ear; "be a good boy and cum in my hand".
Kento broke, wave after wave of pleasure rushing through him, strengthened by the drink, as thick spurts of cum shot into your hand and against the shower glass. He moaned your name, hips thrusting sloppily, one hand reaching round to squeeze your waist. Your pace slowed, squeezing gently as you pumped every last drop out of him.
Kento slumped against the glass, a dopey satisfied smile on his face, and hummed happily as he felt a soapy sponge start to clean his back. By the time you had gently scraped your nails through his hair, rinsing him of the last suds, he was barely awake in the steamy bathroom.
"Come on, big guy. Let's get you to bed." Kento frowned at you, looking faintly guilty.
"But I haven't done anything for you." You stroked his cheeks, full of affection.
"Trust me, that did plenty for me. I'll be storing that in my head for a long time."
Kento blushed, but allowed you to lead him to bed and dry his hair. He was face down in bed and asleep within seconds, his body relaxed, his tense muscles loose and softened.
You hesitated before checking the time; if you hadn't been called out by now, you probably wouldn't be, you convinced yourself. Pulling on one of Kento's shirts, you sat your phone by the bed and slipped under the sheets, tucking close to his warmth with one knee lifted over the small of his back.
"Still think I took advantage of you," you mumbled to Kento, before falling asleep to his warmth and deep, soft breaths, safe and happy in the dark.

How John Comes Home from Deployment
CoD ML
Tumblr media
John hates coming home from deployment during the cold periods of the year.
Don’t get me wrong, he loves the sight of you asleep in your shared bed, wrapped up nice and snug in the thick comforter. A smile never fails to spread on his lips when he notices the pattern of your shirt, barely visible in the dusk yet enough for him to notice. Fortunately he has his flannel shirts to keep you warm when he can’t.
John knows you’re more than capable to take care of yourself. Nevertheless, he can’t help but grit his teeth at the thought you had to tuck yourself in yet again. That’s his job!
But the annoyance, as per usual, subsides at the scene in front of him: you snuggling with the warmy (a stuffed animal that contains a bag with cherry pits you have to heat in the microwave) he got you. He vividly recalls how you giggled that day, the way you compared him to the brown grizzly bear in your hands. “A rather striking image, innit? It’s like looking in the mirror.”
“That how you see me?”
“Especially in the morning when you haven’t had your cigar and tea yet.” He wrapped you up in his arms, pride swelling in his chest as you snuggled into it. “You’re my bear.”
My bear.
It’s the nickname he never envisioned himself liking. However, now, there isn’t anything else he’d rather be called.
Aside from Daddy.
John has embedded the way you say it in his fantasy and often thinks of it, plays it like his favourite song over and over. Out in the field, it’s a sure fire way for him to not lose morale. Moreover, it fuels his determination to return home, no matter the cost.
(And the rest of his boys too, of course!)
He has to.
If only because there is an important question he needs to ask. Should right now, after months of gathering the courage.
But he lets you sleep.
This can wait until the morning.
Quietly John puts his stuff in the corner by the door, grabs a shirt and pair of sweats out of your shared wardrobe, and slips into the bathroom to change. However, not before he has caressed your cheek, made sure he’s kept his promise. The talon of anguish lets go of his throat when he finds your skin dry and free of the little salty black rivulets that stained it last time. Thank God, he hasn’t made you cry again.
“The next time I do, I’ll retire,” he recalls telling you when he lifted you off of the couch. You’d fallen asleep there, wrapped up in your favourite white fluffy blanket like a burrito.
For as long as you could, you stayed awake to welcome him home in person. Unfortunately, you lost the fight around one in the morning. Two hours later, John stepped through the door, knackered and a little heartbroken at the sight of you clutching one of his shirts like it’s your lifeline. He didn’t mind the stains your mascara had made on it.
The same can’t be said for the fact your act had crumbled behind his back yet again. Time and again he’s told you it’s fine to cry, to tell each other you miss them, to not always pretend to be fine.
Because he knows you aren’t.
And neither is he.
Yet the decision he’s made might change things, bring some peace. Even if you tell him he’s insane and shouldn’t do it because it will be like throwing away everything he stands for, he stands by his word.
This was the final mission.
From now on, he’s simply John Price.
A man craving to settle down with his beloved.
The girl who instinctively snuggles into him the moment he lies down. Whose presence soothes and dispels the worst of his ghosts. Who drives his determination to improve himself day by day.
To do better as a man rather than a captain.
To be the best husband he can be.
Until then, John is as he is now.
Exhausted yet perfectly content.
Next to his fiancée.
Home.

okay what about something with fiancerry about wedding planning? like putting stuff together/looking at inspo/etc ??
a/n - again… something small <3
word count - ~1k
wedding planning mahem
.’•*,.’>*,~<\*•,.-:’•.~_,*^;-.•*
“I hate that colour.” You frowned at the potential colour of napkins.
“It’s beige. How is that not good?” Your fiancé, Harry, asked.
You were both sitting on the lounge floor, binders, folders, photos and bits of paper laid out everywhere in front of you. No space on the floor was untouched.
“It’s just.. bleh. I’m thinking sage green, to match the bridesmaids dresses.”
“Ooh that reminds me. Gem said her dress needs altering again.”
“Again?” You ran a stressed hand after your forehead and back over your head. “Anything else I should know?”
“Aunty Carole isn’t sitting on the same table as Uncle Graham, she said. Actually, she kind of threatened me to make sure it didn’t happen.” Harry gulped.
“Oh.. for fu– okay, okay.”
You take out a piece of paper from a binder and add these tasks to your never ending list. There were currently 67 tasks on your list to do and increasing in length too.
“And I should probably let you know that the cake decorator cancelled this morning saying the design was too complicated.”
Your eyes felt like they bugged out of their sockets. “Too complicated? Are you kidding me? It’s a bloody white cake with some green ivy on it.”
You groaned and collapsed on your back. You covered your eyes with the palms of your hands.
“C’mon, baby. It’ll all be okay.” Harry said, rustling with some paper.
You shook your head. You breathed out a deep breath, knowing what was coming next. Your shoulders and chest started to shake as you started to cry.
Your hands stayed over your eyes as the tears flowed down onto your cheeks.
Harry must have noticed, even though you weren’t being vocal about crying, because the next thing you knew he was on his way over to you.
“Woah, baby. Hey, hey. What’s up?” Harry pulled your hands away from your eyes and just let you cry without restraint. He stayed sat by your side, holding one of your hands with his.
“This is so shit.” You tried to talk through your sobs.
“What is? The wedding? The planning?”
“Everything!” You exclaimed, but Harry knew you didn’t mean it.
“Talk to me. What’s actually wrong?”
Harry pulled on your arms to sit you up. He sat with manspread legs and you sat in between them, sitting sideways to his body.
“I just.. I just wanted this wedding to be perfect. I needed it to be perfect and now everything’s falling apart left, right and centre.” You blew out a deep breath as you tried to calm your tears.
“Why does it need to be perfect? It’s not worth being perfect if you’re this upset, honey.” Harry explained, which you understood.
“For you.” You said softly.
“For me? Wha– baby…” Harry struggled to understand.
“You have done and still do so much for me, H. I just can’t even begin to explain just how much. This was supposed to be my way of showing you how much it all meant to me.. how much you loving me has meant to me.”
Harry pulled your chin so your face faced his. “Baby, hey. I know how much I mean to you. I see it everyday, from the little moments to the big. Like, this morning, you knew I wanted a green tea instead of a breakfast tea. I don’t know how you did, but you did. Or last week, I asked you if I could go out and see some friends and next thing I know you’ve organised a barbecue for me and them here. I-I don’t know how you could ever think that you don’t already show me how much you love me.”
“I know, I know. M’sorry.”
“It’s okay, lovie. It’s all going to work out, I promise.”

My Villain Fiancé is Interfering With My Flowery Path - By May Rain (7.5/10)
Tumblr media
Being framed for murder sucks, especially when your hands are genuinely clean. A fake saint steps aside when the real one appears gracefully, only to find blood under her feet. Her sweet, handsome fiance has been disposing of all who doubt her.
Thisbe is a child from a famous family. Experts determined that she was the one and only Saint who would save the land when she was just a baby. Her loving but stern grandpa forced her to train day and night. When the real saint came Thisbe snapped.
That Thisbe died.
She has been replaced with another soul. A regular Woman From Korea.
Tumblr media
Said Woman is happy to live as Thisbe...but not really. She plans to abandon her fiancé and escape. To where? Well, the nation of magic. All people with magic can enter the secluded nation to become a citizen, as long as there are no criminal charges against them.
Tumblr media
Thisbe is no Saint, but she does have magic. She can flee to this remote country. It'll be tough to get there though. Magic is still a mystery in most nations. That's why she was mistakenly hailed as a savior in the first place. Very few powerful magic users are born outside of the secluded magic country.
The old version of Thisbe never stopped believing she was the Saint, because she does have strong magic. It just wasn't holy magic and she was born in a country with a low understanding of magic. She lived in angry, bitter ignorance.
Luckily Woman From Korea already knows everything.
Tumblr media
The real saint, Estelle, appears. She saves everybody from a giant wolf. The Saint has a certain type of magic. Magic that turns bloodthirsty monsters into friendly puppies. Thisbe has a more common type of battle magic. The difference in their skills is clear.
Rumors fly. Everybody thinks Thisbe will try to murder her usurper, but Thisbe is nothing but kind....in public.
Tumblr media
Thisbe reads the paper and she's doomed. She can't enter magic country. Why? Well, she's been accused of murder. The people who don't support her Saint title keep dying in highly suspicious accidents. She is the main culprit, even though she has an alibi. Even though she's nice to Estelle. The misunderstanding is impossible to shake.
Tumblr media
Thor is her friend and fiance.
He's a puppy yandere. A very sweet and loving guy that loves to torture people who insult his fiance. He also really, really doesn't want her to leave him.
Tumblr media
Thisbe thinks Thor is with her out of obligation. That's the way arranged marriages are. She of course believes they are friends. She thinks she's a great guy, but he doesn't think he loves her romantically.
In her defense he is too...casual? He never boldly proclaims his love. They just hang out and drink tea...and he kills people who insult her behind her back.
Tumblr media
Thankfully he doesn't really see Estelle as a threat. Estelle is a nice girl. Thisbe has alot of real enemies though. People who will always hate her because of her high pedigree. Thor has been quietly, and now loudly, getting rid of them.
Tumblr media
All of the snakes who are supporting Estelle don't actually care for her. They are just supporting her because she's special. Estelle has very few real allies.
Tumblr media
Thisbe doesn't get to run away. There's no need for her to hide in the mage country. Estelle really needs her help, and Thor does genuinely love her...even though he's a bit of a villain.
Thisbe is going to become a great pillar of support for the Saint and the Duke.
Also everybody who dislikes her is going to die.

When you tried to move on from them
Pairing: Hyung line x Reader
Warnings: Soft Yandere, Cheating, Obsessiveness, Possessiveness, Manipulative behavior, Attempt at ending one’s life, Sexual themes, If you’re not 18+ please, PLEASE, do not interact. Be mindful of the warnings. Let me know if I miss anything.
A/N: why on earth is this 5kish long? This part is darker than the maknae line (for me at least) precisely for the reason that hyung line would plan before springing into action which makes them more…dangerous. I hope you enjoy this! And for real, read the warnings okay.

Namjoon
You blinked in surprise when you entered the house. You thought it was a nightmare came to life when you saw Namjoon sitting there with your mom. The two of them were chatting and laughing, hot cup of tea on the table.
It was Namjoon who first saw you, his eyes flashing a certain heat before he smiled at you sweetly. “Flower, you’re here!”
You frowned at him before turning to look at your mother who was smiling fondly at the two of you. “He said he wanted to surprise you. Your fiancé is so sweet, darling. Despite his busy schedule, he had it in him to go to our province. What a sweet man,” she cooed at him before tapping his hand.
Fiancé?
“Of course. I wanted to see how my future mother-in-law is doing,” he replied with the sweetest smile on his face that even you were almost fooled. “I worry about your health.”
Your mother laughed sheepishly, “Namjoon, son, you can call me mom. There’s no need for formality.”
“Okay, mom.”
What. The. Fuck?
Your mother excused herself, saying something about making dinner seeing as Namjoon would be staying.
Once she was out of earshot, you marched to him and pulled him outside the house. And he was all too willing to be pulled by you. After all, it had been three months since you started ghosting him after he pleasured you in the studio. It was heartbreaking, really. He woke up without you and hadn’t seen you since then.
He lose it the moment he found out you left.
You were just too intelligent about evading him. He hated that.
Consequently, your intelligence was what also attracted him to you.
He was smiling down at you as you faced him. You looked behind him to see if your mother was anywhere near before completely laying it out on him.
“What the fuck are you doing here?” You hissed, dropping his thick wrist. It was already dark and the only light was from the house and the street light situated outside. At your smaller form, his shadow was tauntingly touching you. He was so tall that you had to tilt your head to meet his intense stare full on. “And what do you mean fiancé?! You know what, I heard intelligent people tend to lose it but I never thought you would! And who said you can visit my mom, Kim Namjoon?! I need you to leave. You know she’s not well and any additional stress would be detrimental for her!”
You were breathing hard when you stopped berating him. Yet, he remained smiling at you, his dimpled cheeks would be considered charming if not for the fucked up thing that he did to you.
“I miss you,” he admitted softly, his eyes taking you in. God, he did miss you. It had been hell without you. You weren’t completely wrong, he did lose it. And he only managed to get his sanity back when he saw you. “Let’s not separate from each other this long again, my flower.”
You rolled your eyes, “I don’t miss you-“
“Don’t say things you don’t mean…you’re not a liar,” he teased as he shook his head a little. “And besides, do you have it in you to tell your mother the truth? Hmm? At her state, are you willing to break her heart?” He taunted you, his hand gently cupping your cheek. “After all, isn’t it her wish to see her only child happy and married?”
Your eyes widened at his implication, at how he carelessly talked about your mother’s health. There were so many truths in what Namjoon said. He had you backed in the corner, but you wouldn’t go down without a fight. “You need to lea-“
“Dinner’s ready!” Your mother shouted, her face relaxed, a rare sight since she started her treatment. It left you no choice but to nod at her assuringly before turning to look at you ex-boyfriend.
“You’re going to excuse yourself. You’re going to say you have a work emergency. You’re going to leave tonight. Do I make myself clear?”
His dark eyes twinkled with delight. “Yes, ma’am.”
You did make yourself clear, but you should have known he was a stubborn man. You were the one for him, and if that was the case, shouldn’t he fight with all his might to stay with you?
“I’m so full. Thank you for the meal,” he said politely, rubbing his stomach with a smile.
“You must have been so tired, Namjoon. Why don’t you stay here tonight?”
“Mom!” You called her in disbelief, your eyes widened at what she suggested.
“What?”
“W-we have no more room. I’m sure he’s needed back in Seoul.”
“No, I’m not. And you’re right, mother. I’m so weary I don’t think I can make it back safely to the city tonight.”
“See? You can sleep in her room.”
“Mom!” Wasn’t she the conservative type?
“It’s fine. He’s your fiancé. He’s practically family by now. If it was up to me, you two would be married by now.”
You were full on glaring at him as he entered your room after your mom bid the two of you good night. Namjoon smiled sweetly at you before putting his bag down. Wasn’t he too ready to stay here with that huge bag of his?
He looked around your small room, his huge frame making your bedroom looked even smaller.
“I thought I told you to leave?”
He nodded before standing in front of you, “Yes, you did.”
“So why didn’t you?”
“I don’t remember agreeing,” he murmured, gently sauntering to you similar to that of a hunter. His deep voice was making you feel things you didn’t want to feel, his proximity weakening your resolve.
You pushed his muscular chest non too gently. “I’m not playing this game with you, Namjoon. If you have any respect for me, you would leave me alone.”
He chuckled under his breath, his dark eyes gazing into yours. And before you knew it, you couldn’t stepped back anymore, your back completely against the wall. He lost all playfulness in his face, his hands on either side of you. “Who says I’m playing, flower?” He murmured, his face slowly leaning down to your neck. You felt him inhale your scent, the hair of your neck standing up. Perhaps, it recognized the danger you were in. You dared not move, waiting for the large man to do something. “And it’s because I respect us that I know we deserve another chance. I’m fighting for us, flower…regardless if I’m fighting alone.” Or fighting even you.
Tumblr media
Seokjin
You scoffed at another bouquet of flowers delivered at your temporary apartment. Beside the flowers was a velvet box containing a gold necklace with a diamond pendant. The letter you were holding in your hand read that he missed you. It was the same thing everyday. You thought he was just wasting his time. You thought he would stop after a month. But it was almost three months and yet, the gifts kept coming. It was getting more ridiculous and more expensive as the days went by. At your anger, you threw his gifts one day. But then the morning came and he sent you a message that sent shivers down your spine.
‘Don’t throw away my gifts, sweetheart. You know it hurts me.’
But how did he know?
You weren’t even surprised that Seokjin was able to trace you, not when he had too much resources in his hands. You should have known the extent of his power. He never liked to wield his family’s power. Your Seokjin before was the most humble man you ever met, never boasting about their inherent wealth and position in the world. Yet, this Seokjin didn’t hesitate to use it when it came to you.
Apparently, you were his breaking point.
To be honest, you were terrified of him now. You felt like you were threading a thin line, and one of these days he would snapped.
You didn’t want to know what would happen then.
And so it felt like a blessing in disguise when you started working in a new company, only to find out that one of your closed professor was affiliated there as well. Now, you were offered to work a big project abroad. You didn’t even hesitate. You agreed and now it was only a week before you leave the country for a year.
You needed the space to think and heal yourself. The moment you left him was the moment you started focusing on yourself, giving your all to your career. After all, it was all you had left of you. You were no longer crying every night. You knew you were healing slowly.
As opposed to what your friends wanted you to do, you didn’t want to go out and date yet. You wanted to focus on yourself and be the best version of yourself. But his constant presence despite his absence was halting your progress. How could you move on completely if he kept reminding you that he was just there patiently waiting?
Perhaps, your own breaking point was when you received yet another gift from him. Only this time, it was a small, velvet box. Inside sat a ring with a huge diamond that almost blinded you from how it reflected back the light, as though it was taunting you. You knew what it was. You didn’t need to read the card he carefully wrote on to know what it was, ‘Sweetheart, let’s get married in June.’
At your unrestrained anger, you messaged him without thinking about where he was. In an instant, he replied that you should meet him at his restaurant, the one he secretly bought and showed you before in excitement. It was his first child, he said, something that was only his without the public knowing. You were there when it was merely starting, doing the hard work with him, dreaming with him, helping him.
Perhaps, that was why you were reluctant to go there. But you knew this had to stop. If you wanted to start anew with nothing and no one holding you back, you needed to speak to the man who broke you.
You parked your car in front of a dimly lit restaurant. With a pinched brows, you warily looked around. The place was usually full of people. Customers needed to book a table for a month before they could be catered.
So why then was it empty?
You would have turned around if not for the warm lights swarming a small area of place. You were surprised to see the door open. You were doubtful about his whereabouts, almost certain that he was messing with you if not for the message he sent that he was already there. The sound of your footsteps were deafening to you as you ventured further. You turned a corner and saw his seated form. He was looking at the floor to ceiling window, your personal touch. His eyes were focused on the scenic view outside as though he was deep in thought. With his legs spread apart and his hands resting leisurely on the table, Kim Seokjin looked as breathtaking as the day you met him.
You thought he looked even more handsome now. Of course, why wouldn’t he? It wasn’t as if it was him who lost sleep over a broken heart.
With a deep breath, you walked to him with a purpose. You shouldn’t feel self-conscious, but you did. His head turned to you slowly, his eyes taking you in. You didn’t even prepare for this. You were wearing your casual clothes, your hair in a tie and you weren’t even wearing an ounce of makeup. Yet he looked like that. He was wearing a white long sleeves, the one you bought him before. His hair was brushed away from his forehead. Kim Seokjin looked expensive.
You may looked however you liked and he would still think that you were the most precious person in the whole world. He still looked at you like you were the moon itself.
His lips tilted up when he met your eyes, “Sweetheart, you looked good-“
You marched to him and drank the glass of wine in front of him to completion. You needed the liquid courage to face him. He was watching you with raised brows, before signaling for the waiter to bring out the food and another glass.
“I ordered all your favorite food, sweetheart. Come on, take a seat-“
“Jin,” you called him with a gritted teeth. You slammed your hand on the table, leaning in to look at his eyes, willing him to see how serious you were. “You need to stop.”
He blinked, before tilting his head to the side. He leaned in closer to you, “Stop what, sweetheart?” He whispered with a tone of confusion.
“Whatever you’re doing, you need to stop.”
“Oh, you meant the gifts?” He asked in a thoughtful voice. You were appalled with the way he was acting. Was he really this delusional to think that what he was doing was in any way normal?
You took the offensive velvet box from your bag and placed it in front of him. He so slowly looked from your eyes down to the box you placed in front of him. “Didn’t you like the ring?”
Suddenly, you felt like you lost all strength just from dealing with him. You sat down in front of him, willing the heavens to give you the patience you didn’t possess at the moment.
“Why on earth would you give me an engagement ring, Seokjin?”
“Hmm, but aren’t we dating to marry?” He asked, flashing you his sweet smile. Yet, his eyes remained empty. “Isn’t that the goal, sweetheart?”
“It was the goal before you broke my heart.”
He reached across the table, and you were too slow to evade his touch. He held your hands in his larger ones, his face contorting into regret and sadness, “And I said sorry…numerous times, sweetheart. Until when are you going to punish us over an oversight? Over something that I would atone for the rest of my life? Until when are you going to be away from me?” His eyes glistened with tears, his voice sincere- so sincere that you were almost swayed.
But apologies meant nothing when you were still shattered on the ground.
You shook your head slowly, meeting his eyes with you determined ones. “I know you are sorry, Jin. And I am, too. But it doesn’t change the fact that we broke up.”
“Sweetheart, no-“
“You need to stop,” you squeezed his hand before he could even say anymore. You needed to finish this, you needed to close this chapter of your life. “No matter what you do, I’m not coming back anymore. I’m leaving Korea. I need to move on,” you whispered, looking at the eyes of the man you once loved more than yourself. You offered him a sad smile for all the things you two went through, for all the happy memories and love that had nowhere else to go anymore. You smiled for the life you had with him, and now you were turning your back on it. “And you need to move on, too.”
You left him sitting there, alone with his head bowed down.
You felt lighter than you did in the past few months. You felt like you could breathe now. With an unhurried movement, you walked to your car and opened the door when a large hand suddenly pushed the door shut again. Heart beating faster, you turned around only to find Jin towering over you. He was breathing hard, his eyes burned with something you couldn’t name. He had yet to turn to you, his body so close to you that you could feel heat emitting from him.
“J-Jin-“
He shook his head, strands of his dark hair falling on his forehead. “You’re not leaving Korea,” he stated, his brows furrowed. His jaw was clenched when he finally looked at you. “You’re not leaving me.”
Tumblr media
Yoongi
“Honey, he’s here..again,” your friend warned you knowingly before walking past you to her cubicle. You looked heavenward and groaned. If Yoongi thought bombarding you with his presence would do him any good, he couldn’t be anymore wrong. It had been a full month since he started showing up wherever you were, uncaring if anyone recognized him. No matter where you ran, he would show up with a sad look on his face as though you kicked his dog. As though it was him who was hurt and not you.
The moment you stepped out of the building, Yoongi smiled at you. He was sporting an undercut- a thing you noticed despite him wearing a cap. It was for another of the group’s music video, another concept that the fans were anticipating. He walked near to you, his hand reaching for your bag when you evaded his touch. He frowned when you did, sadness clouding his features. “How was your day, kitten?”
You glared at him, the words of your officemates still fresh in your mind. They thought you didn’t hear them, but you did. His actions were making them think that he was the one to be pitied when it was you that he broke. It was you who cried herself to sleep for so long that you thought you were going to die from sadness.
“I know. It’s such a bitch thing to do.”
“Right? Who does she think she is?”
“That poor guy.”
Was it your fault that this was how you wanted to move on?
Was it your fault you wanted nothing more to do with him?
“Until when are you going to do this?”
He blinked slowly, his face showing all the seriousness he had. “Until you come back to me.”
“I’m not. I’m never going to come back to a cheater,” you said with a smile on your face before walking away from him.
“Maybe you should date again?”
“What?” You sputtered out, shifting your focus from your laptop to your friend who was standing beside you, leaning against the stack of paper you had in your office table.
“Well, Yoongi wouldn’t stop, right?”
“Right…”
“What if he see you out with someone else? Then maybe he’d accept that the two of you are finally done.”
You thought long and hard about what she said, and maybe…just maybe this would work. You chose to ignore the warning thump of your heart, the one that knew how possessive he was, the one that knew how he reacted before when you interacted with other men.
You found yourself thoroughly enjoying someone else’s company. It was the first date, yet he managed to intrigue you. His quick wit, sense of humor, and gentlemanly ways softened your heart. You were still smiling when you entered your apartment late at night. In your arms was the beautiful bouquet of flowers he got you. You turned on the light and walked to your home when you saw him.
You screamed when you saw Min Yoongi sitting on your sofa, his eyes staring at nothingness. He looked…dangerous, as though he was one wrong move away from losing it. Slowly, so slowly, he looked at you and then at the flowers you were holding.
You wanted to hide it from his vicious eyes. You wanted to hide it as though you did something wrong. But you didn’t…right?
“What the fuck are you doing here?! This is trespassing!”
He chuckled humorlessly before tilting his head to the side, “How was your date, kitten?”
You stepped back without a thought when he stood up. “Y-you need to leave,” your voice trembled, your eyes widened and your breaths were shallowed. Yoongi looked…unstable.
“Are we equal now, kitten?” He murmured, his legs carrying him closer to you. He looked really curious, “I broke your trust, so your broke my heart.”
“It’s not the same-“
“Does that mean all is fair now?” His low voice scared you now that he was nearer. His dark eyes taking you in. “Will you take me back now?”
“I didn’t cheat on you. You did. We are done. How does that count as cheating?”
“I’m getting impatient, kitten,” he confessed, looking down at his feet. He poked his tongue in his cheek, before slowly looking up at you. “I need you back or else…I think I’m really going to lose it…”
You tried to push his body away from you, eager to create distance between the two of you. But his body remained grounded in front of you. “You need to leave-“
“You’re going to love me again,” he stated, so certain that you would. His dark eyes bore into yours. You were so distracted and intimidated with his proximity that you failed to notice the syringe he was holding. And before you knew it, a stinging pain could be felt in your neck.
And then you lost consciousness. But you need not worry, kitten. He was there to catch you.
“It’s done,” he said as soon as Hoseok picked up the phone. “Meet us in front.”
Tumblr media
Hoseok
You frowned as you looked down at your ringing phone. Your ex’s sister had been endlessly attempting to contact you, yet you didn’t bother to read any of her messages. You only messaged her once to inform her that her brother and you were done, and you thanked her profusely on the kindness she showed on you. After all, she was almost like a family to you. Perhaps, that was why his betrayal hurt more. He wasn’t the only one out of your life, but for your peace of mind and healing, his family as well.
It had been more than two months since you escaped from him with the help of Namjoon. It had been that long since you blocked every communication you had with him.
His betrayal still burned, but you were in the path of healing.
In fact, your friend convinced you to go out and try again. She said you didn’t have to take the dates seriously, that you could just dipped your toes into the water again. You were in a relationship for so long that she wanted you to see what was out there. And so, you were trying.
You realized there was so much out there than what you originally thought.
Your phone rang once again when you got off work. Your finger hovered over the screen, and something told you that you should answer her. You brought your phone to your ear, your voice small as your greeted her.
“Y/N! I’m so glad you finally answered!” Her voice was oozing with worry, and if you could see her now you would pity the kind woman.
“W-why? Are you okay?”
“It’s about Hoseok-“
You were shaking your head before she could even finish, “I don’t want to know anything about him anymore. I’m sorry.”
“I know. I know, I’m so sorry what he did was so wrong that I haven’t been speaking to him. I am on your side, Y/N. Completely. B-but…he’s my brother, too. I’m not asking you to take him back. I just… I just don’t know what to do. He needs help, Y/N,” she hurriedly stated, scared that you wouldn’t hear her out. She knew what she was going to ask of you was too much, but her love for her brother outweighed the shame.
You were quiet for so long that she thought you dropped the call. You were thinking hard about what she was saying. You didn’t want to do this. You didn’t want to see him. You didn’t even want to care.
“What are you asking from me?”
“Just go to him. Just once. J-just convince him to seek help. Please. My mother and I no longer know what to do.”
You found yourself waiting outside the apartment you once shared with him, your eyes focused on your shoes as you waited for Hoseok’s sister to open the door. You didn’t want to presume that the code didn’t change. You didn’t even want to try, you didn’t want to know.
“You’re here,” her worried voice woke you up from your reverie. She wrapped her arms around you gently like an old friend would before stepping away and looking at you with sorrow in her eyes. “I’m really sorry for what happened. And I’m so sorry for dragging you back into this mess.”
You couldn’t even say it was fine because it wasn’t. Instead, you squeezed her hands and offered her an understanding smile. She lead you to what was once your room, pausing outside the door. She hesitated before looking at you.
“H-he’s not the most stable lately. Ever since Jimin saw you out with someone else, he has been like this…”
“Jimin told him that?” You asked in disbelief, racking your brain on the past few dates you went to, all of which were harmless. When did Jimin see you?
She sighed before shaking her head, “He really shouldn’t have told him that. He knew how…intense Hoseok is when it comes to you. You’ll see.”
She knocked lightly on the closed door before opening it. The room was dark and cold, extremely opposite to how it was when you lived there. The only light that seeped through was now from the hallway. You could barely see a man’s form lying down on the bed, his back facing the door.
“Hoseok, you have a visitor,” she called him tenderly, opening the door further so you could step in. Yet, you didn’t. You didn’t know if you should.
“Send them away,” he answered in the coldest and lowest voice you had ever heard from him. He didn’t even lift his head, didn’t even want to acknowledge whoever it was.
“Hoseok, maybe you should-“
“I said I don’t want to talk to anyone! I want to be alone! I deserve to be alone-“ he suddenly screamed, turning his head to your direction. The vein in his neck was protruding from the force of his emotions. And the way he suddenly lost all his anger, the way his face mellowed down from fury to disbelief shocked you.
Suddenly, he had the strength when it had been months since he felt like he lost all his firmness. He stood up and ran to you, his hands cradling your face as he looked at you with wander in his eyes. His lips were trembling, his eyes looked desperate and borderline crazed as he finally saw the love of his life standing in front of him after you evaded him for months. It had been so long since he broke your heart and you in turn shattered his very being.
Didn’t you know he wouldn’t survive without you?
Didn’t you know he’d rather perished than live in his world without you by his side?
His tears were falling from his eyes, drenching your hands that were trying to push his hand aside. “Angel,” he called for you sweetly, his trembling as he gazed into your eyes. “Where have you been? I’ve been looking for you, my angel. I’ve busied myself buying you everything that you deserve. Our closet is full of things I know you’d like. Would you like to take a look?”
Your eyes widened the more he opened his mouth, the more you listened to his words that made no sense. You turned to look at his sister who was looking at you with worry. This was what she meant. Her brother did nothing but to fill his days with the thoughts of you, and yet he failed to take care of himself.
It didn’t get past your notice that he looked tired, that he looked as though he hadn’t been paying attention to himself. It was so opposite to what you knew of him. Hoseok was particular with the way he presented himself. He was disciplined in himself. But the man holding you right now was anything but the well-made man you knew.
Hoseok looked thinner.
“I-I’m not here to come back to you,” you said in a wary voice, pushing him away but this time, you were successful. You tried to be as gentle as possible. After all, before the worst, he was the best. Before he broke you, he completed you. You were gentle to the version of Hoseok who loved you with all his heart, not the one who cheated on you.
He looked confused and saddened by your actions, his head tilted to the side.
“No. No! You’re here because you forgive me, right?” He insisted, his form kept on coming near you despite you evading his touches. “You’re here because those boys can’t love you the way I do, right?!”
“Hoseok,” your voice trembled, your eyes shining with tears by just seeing his current state. You understood now why his sister was worried; Hoseok was on edge of the cliff.
He suddenly stopped, his arms falling lifelessly to his side. His head was bowed down, his dark hair obstructing his face.
“I hurt you,” he concluded sadly. The tall man in front of you looked like a lost child, like he had lost all the hope in the world and had already given up. “I hurt you. And I should just die.”
What?
You hadn’t even processed what he said when he walked briskly to the kitchen, his strides purposeful. You and his sister ran after him, and you were almost too late. He had opened a bottle of pills and poured the contents in his open palm. He was about to put them inside his mouth when you hugged him so tight that he accidentally let go of them. They clattered on the floor around his feet.
You were openly crying now, your shoulders shaking. Your unstoppable tears drenched his shirt- and it was enough to snap him from whatever he was doing. He turned around, his brows pinched together as he looked at your unconsolable form.
“W-why are you crying, my angel?” Hoseok asked, tilting you chin to meet his empty eyes. “You don’t want me gone?”
You shook your head, pained that he was even capable of doing what he was about to do. “N-no. Please-“
“You love me?” He asked, hope in his eyes. “You take me back, then?”
His sister was watching the two of you, and at your hesitation, she mouthed ‘please’.
And so you nodded, and Hoseok pulled you in his arms, never to let you go. You didn’t see the smirk he had in his face.

Leave It All Behind
『♡』  fem!reader x pro-hero bakugo ╰➤ ꒰ pro-heroes au | aged to 24 | nasty break up ꒱ -`✧ katsuki bakugo masterlist
summary: a heated argument, a slammed door, a thrown ring, and two broken hearts. everything changed in the blink of an eye when you decide to blow up your whole life over a change of scenery. tags & warnings: violence against a partner, angst, no happy ending, bakugo cries a lot a/n: this physically pained me to write because I don’t wanna make Katsuki cry like that but the angst just came flooding out of my brain 😭 ꒰ Ao3 version | word count; 1,175 ꒱
“I quit.”
Katsuki drops the mug in his hand, ceramic pieces and lukewarm tea splattering all over the kitchen floor.
“What?!” His voice is amplified, preparing for the argument he knows is brewing.
“I said ‘I quit.’ I left the agency today.” Your tone is cold as you cross your arms and shift on your hip.
Katsuki blinked repeatedly and scrunched his brows together, wondering if he somehow jumped into a different reality.
“We fuckin’ talked about this! I thought-”
“What? You thought you could order me around like a goddamn dog?!” You snap, waving your hands around in defense.
“No! Where th’ fuck is this coming from?”
Katsuki is legitimately bewildered. You just had the conversation last night and came to the conclusion you were not going to quit being a hero - all of that just flew out the window at mach speed.
“I decided myself I didn’t need the number two hero ordering me around, acting like I’m gonna sneak up and take your fucking job!” The anger inside you is boiling hot, your voice raised to match Katsuki’s volume.
“Th’ fu…I don’t think that! I’ve been by your side since day fuckin’ one! Where the hell is this coming from, y/n?!”
You take a step toward him, purposefully invading his space to get under his skin. He hated when you’d do this during a fight.
“I’m tired of it all, Katsuki! What the hell is the point?! Heroes are used as punching bags! We’re fucking humans and we are treated like pawns in a goddamn game. I’m tired of being a symbol of something I don’t believe in anymore.”
Katsuki takes a step back, bumping into the countertop as his expression shifts from anger to concern.
“Baby, let’s take a step -,” he attempts to say to lower the level of tension in the room.
“Don’t fucking call me baby,” you snarl, pointing a finger in his face.
What the fuck is happening between you two?
“Fine. Y/N, let’s take a second-”
The sound of a slap echos in the kitchen, cutting through the conversation and stopping time itself. You’re breathing heavily, a fire burning in your heart as you glare at your finance. Katsuki’s stunned, his cheek reddening from your strike. He doesn’t turn back to meet your gaze, hopelessly refusing to accept what just happened.
“Shut the fuck up. I’ve made up my damn mind.”
“…did that make you feel better?” He mumbles, voice wavering as he swallows hard.
The final string inside you snaps - a cable becoming frayed, flailing wildly out of control with electric emotion.
You shove him against the counter and spin on your heel, stomping out of the kitchen. A piece of the broken mug in your path catches your bare foot - you don’t even acknowledge the pain of the pottery slicing through your skin.
Katsuki is frozen, he’s astonished and cannot even form words to say to you right now. Who the hell was this? Where did his beloved fiancé go?
“I’m done. I’m fucking done!” You scream, returning to the kitchen from the bedroom. You’re holding your engagement ring in your hand.
Katsuki’s heart turns to concrete and drops into the pit of his stomach.
“W-wait, y/n, please…just wait a s-second,” he begs with trembling hands. “Don’t do this.”
You chuck the ring straight into his chest, bouncing off his shirt and clattering onto the kitchen tile. He audibly gasps, watching as the ring rolls into a puddle of the spilled tea.
Katsuki’s blood runs cold. Is this real? This had to be a nightmare, a really fucking terrible nightmare. There’s no way his sweet hero of a partner was standing in front of him. You had to have been cloned and this is an imposter.
“I. Am. Fucking. Done. Fuck you, Katsuki Bakugo. Have a good fuckin’ life.”
Katsuki scrambles to grasp your hand as you turn your back to him.
“Please, stop this! I can’t lose you, y/n!” He blubbers, unable to stop the hot tears spilling from his eyes. His voice cracks as he’s calling after you. “I’m s-sorry! Whatever it is, I’m fuckin’ sorry. We can talk about it. Whatever is happening, we can fix it. We can forget this whole conversation happened!”
You smack his hand away from yours and the sting is sent straight to his bleeding heart.
“I don’t want to talk about it. I’ve made up my mind.”
You don’t have time to pack anything, nor do you have time to explain yourself. There’s nothing you can do - no turning back now. The plan is in motion and there’s no putting on the brakes.
Reaching into your pocket, you take your phone out and smash it against the floor. Pieces of glass and small electronic parts scatter in all directions. The phone remains powered on as it bounces on the floor, a glimpse of your lock screen visible to Katsuki. It’s a picture from your engagement photo shoot - the phone screen split directly in between the two of you.
“Sell all my shit, I don’t want it. Never, ever, contact me again.”
He’s hysterical at this point, sobbing and a whimpering where he stands.
“Who th’fuck are you?! Where’s this 180 comin’ from?!”
Katsuki’s desperate for any answer, he doesn’t care if it gets you to stay.
“I’m tired of playing hero when my true allegiance lies with the villains.”
That’s the last thing you say before hastily making your way to the door. Hand on the doorknob, you take a final moment to say goodbye to everything you’re leaving behind - the love of your life, your career, friends and family. All of it is burning to the ground.
Katsuki bolts to the door, slamming his hand onto the wood to stop you from leaving. He’s panicking as his whole life is crumbling in front of his eyes.
“Please. Y/N. Y’don’t have to stay with me. But for fucks sake, is this worth throwing everything away? How could you do this!? What do I tell your parents, our friends?!”
You say nothing as you yank the door open, forcing his hand off the frame. You don’t make eye contact as you pull the door closed, jogging down the apartment hallway.
You know for a fact if you stayed for any amount of time longer, you would have crumbled. Taken it all back and refuse to leave, walk the path of a happy and healthy life.
“There you are. I was about to go knock on your door to get you, silly!” Toga says cheerfully, taking your arm in hers. “Ready to go?”
“Yep. Let’s go.”
The walk down the sidewalk is the hardest road you’ve traveled, not looking back at all the damage you’re leaving behind.
The new generation of the league of villains welcomes you with open arms and cannot wait for all of your inside intel on hero society.
It’s about time you make a change in this world - your way.
I have an extended idea to build off of this short where villain reader meets pro hero bakugo again in the future but we’ll see if it ever comes to fruition

being reincarnated into a new world as the bad guy pt.2
feat. Azul, Kalim
note: this is kinda a long post, can be interpreted as gn!reader, reader is different for each character, I might write blurbs cuz I like the villain/ess genre
part 1 part 2 part 3
series masterlist
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Did the universe hate you? You pondered your past life choices that may have condemned you into this hopeless situation. You didn’t even like this webtoon you unceremoniously got sent to because the main characters were nothing but self-centered idiots. Worse, you got reincarnated as the lovesick betrothed of the male lead, who was going to have their engagement annulled then be abandoned by your greedy family.
Really, the only reason you even kept reading was for the cool if somewhat dorky count who rose from a nobody to one of the successful business figures in the kingdom…Hey now…
So now you were sitting across from the one and only Azul Ashengrotto as he sized you up with a business smile as his servants prepared refreshments. For as confident as you try to be, the ball in his court and your future cushioned life is dependent on him. At least the twin brothers from that marquis family weren't here.
“So, what do I owe the pleasure of your presence?”
“I’m going to let you use me”
“Urk—!”
Ah, you should’ve waited until after he finished his tea.
Aside from your love life, you were winning in every other department. You were a high ranking noble as well as a beautiful social butterfly of high society. You weren’t ahead of the trends, you were the trend and since you knew the story of this world, you knew what were hits and misses in the market.
“I can give you want to know in the high social circle, whatever you have me wear or eat with my appraisal, I can make it the biggest trend of the season. All I want is a cut”
As skeptical as Azul was, he couldn’t disagree with your points and he was sure he could spin this partnership in his favor considering you were thought to be a lovesick puppy (hah, he thought). With a lengthy discussion on the contract (a meager 10% cut on your side? Really, Azul?), the two of you shook on it.
With a smile too innocent to be real, you offered “Should we go on a date?”
Oh, you were going to be the death of this man.
Your “dates” were just spending the day in the village disguised, surveying promising businesses, cuisines, and artisans (though a flustered count is also a win in your books). With your insights and Azul’s careful research, high society was eating out of your hands, waiting to see which business would receive his Midas’ touch.
You kept your contributions hidden as you didn’t want your family to monopolize your share and secretly hoped that your family and fiancé would still care for you even without these merits. Perhaps you were more hopeless than you realized.
While your soon-to-be husband was off somewhere without informing you (though you already knew where he was going, and who he was going to), you paid a visit to your favourite restaurant which happens to be owned by your favourite associates. The more you spend time with Azul and inevitably the Leech twins, the more you yearn for a life with this much joy.
“Hey Mandarin fishy” oh, Floyd is lucky he’s so adorable. “Your future hubby is awfully chummy with that little remora” he noted as he casually slung his legs over your own, sounding nonchalant but you could see the flicker of curiosity in his mismatched eyes. “You ain’t scared the love of your life’s gonna run away?”
You knew the story’s coming to its climax as the “love of your life” is messing around with that baron’s daughter. Soon, he will announce the annulment in front of everyone and you will be “abandoned” for his true love.
Your eyes then glanced over to your business partner discussing the logistics of the shipment of jewelry materials with the other marquis heir. Despite your casual nagging, you did admire the genuine effort the bespectacled businessman puts in. However, you could see the twitch towards your direction, curious of your thoughts as well.
“Cute” you hid your smile as you took a sip of your favourite blend of tea (how considerate of Azul), “If a little remora was enough to convince that idiot to make a fool of himself in front of our families, then I’d count it a blessing to be rid of him”
Floyd laughs at your heartless dismissal while even Jade let out a chuckle under his breath. You couldn’t help but smile at the scene before you, at the people you hope to call friends (and maybe more in the future with a certain someone). You saved enough to buy a quaint home in the capital (Azul recommended a home conveniently close to his own) and there were pre-orders of delectable tea that became a hit when a wealthy traveler from a foreign country offered a sample at the restaurant, being well handled by the fair-haired count in front of you, guaranteed to be ready for your next social tea party.
As you notice the subtle quirk of a genuine smile on your diligent business partner, you feel content with confirmation.
You definitely prefer smart men.
Tumblr media
No, no, no, no! This can’t be real!
It’s one thing to reincarnate as a servant of a wealthy family, must you be reincarnated as the servant that gets executed for poisoning the oldest son?!
This was the start of the dramatic novel you just finished where you, a new servant of the Asim family, were in love with a greedy relative, who persuaded you to poison the heir to cause turmoil in the mansion. Your younger sibling was sick and your “lover” promised to give you and your sibling a good life if you succeed. Sadly, you knew you were just a scapegoat in their plan.
It hurts even more that the intended recipient of the poison was your bias, the lovable Kalim Al-Asim who doesn’t have a single bad bone in his body. But what could you do? The poison was in your hand and your execution was practically cemented, whether by the hands of the Asim family or by your “beloved”.
Feeling hopeless, you submit yourself in front of Kalim, his father, and his attendants with the vial in hand. You confessed the plan to poison the heir, how that traitor promised to save your sibling if you followed them. You pray that maybe they would banish you and you could run away with your sibling, for however long you could before that relative would eventually eliminate you.
You didn’t even realize you were crying until the fair-headed heir cradled your face in his hands and wiped your tears from your glassy eyes, his own scarlet eyes watery.
“I’ll save you and your family!”
Unable to change Kalim’s decision, your attempt of treason was overlooked, and Kalim even sent the best doctors to see your sibling.
Shoot, this man sure knew how to capture your heart.
Of course, your testament isn’t enough to prosecute the greedy relative so you offered yourself as a poison tester should they attempt the second time. If the story stays on path, that traitor isn’t going to stop anytime soon.
Since then, you worked to prove yourself a devoted servant to the Asim family, especially to Kalim who brings you around to try every cuisine and street food that tickles his fancy. Even Jamil, who was very skeptical of your motives, deemed you harmless (apparently, he decided he could easily disarm you if you do attempt anything).
What made you and Kalim really close (though Kalim was a fairly affectionate man to begin with) was when you offered to help with his studies. You were familiar with certain subjects as they were similar in your old world and having someone around helps the energetic heir to focus. Every time Kalim would call your name with that bright grin of his never fails to bring out a smile of your own.
Your closeness with the oldest son did not go unnoticed. Soon, the traitorous relative came up to you as you were on your way to see Kalim. They gave you a second chance, to kill Kalim then they would forgive you after your failed poisoning attempt. Obviously, you told them to f*ck off stop their plans and leave before you call the guards.
Suddenly, your vision and body became disorientated as you fall to the floor with a sting on your cheek.
“You insolent commoner! You think anyone would care if you get hurt or even die? Don’t make me laugh!”
They slapped you. Your body is shaking from the shock of such sudden violence. You looked up and saw the traitor standing over you with rage as they raised their hand again. You were too slow to stand so you had no choice but close your eyes and grit your teeth as you anticipated the next hit.
Except it never happened.
Instead you were gently lifted to your feet. You turned to see Jamil assisting you to your feet as guards surrounded you and the traitor, with Kalim standing between the two of you.
You have never seen the usually jolly heir like this. His laid-back demeanor was almost non-existent as he kept his weapon pointed at his relative with a glare that seemed deadlier and sharper.
“You…” you've never imagined such an icy tone from your master, even at his worst until now. “You may be family, but I will never forgive you for hurting my precious treasure”
With his command, you saw the traitor pulled away to his awaited fate. Kalim then turned to you and he worriedly rushed to you, cradling your face in his hands to inspect your injury. It’s funny. It’s just like when you first met him.
“Master Kalim, thank you so much” you wanted to say more but honestly, you couldn’t find the words to truly express how much you love this man.
With his show of his signature grin, he replied “Of course, I’ll always save you”

Three months later, London
London in spring was less exciting than you thought. If you explored most of the well-known tourist attractions, it was a place like all the ones you lived in before.
Well, it was a little more British, and they had better tea. Okay, they had the best tea you ever drank outside of Japan. But you couldn’t feel more than resentment against London.
It wasn’t its fault. If you had come here before Dean broke your heart, you would’ve fallen in love with the non-touristic places you discovered on your walks through town.
Like the sweet little bakery called the Dusty Knuckle. You chuckled at the name and were about to call Dean to tell him about it. He would’ve laughed and you would’ve laughed…together soon enough.
That was until you realized that you forgot about reality and the situation you are in.
Well, he would laugh getting to know you signed up for one of their bread-making classes to distract yourself from your messed up feelings.
“How do you like your new office?” Arthur brings you out of your thoughts. Over the last months, he became a confidant. He helped you find the perfect home for you and your baby and made sure that you at least forget about your heartbreak for a while.
Having a man not trying to get into your pants around was refreshing. Arthur tried to be a friend, not your boss. “It’s perfect,” you smile up at him before you turn your attention back toward the newest design. “I like the new design of the car.”
“I knew you’d like it,” Arthur chuckles. “Just like I knew you’d be perfect for this position. I wanted someone with the same passion for cars I share.”
You focus on your laptop and try not to cringe. Dean was the one waking the passion for cars deep within you. You still prefer classic cars, but you want to help build cars for the future.
“Thank you, for everything, Arthur,” you drop your eyes to your middle, wincing as you think about Dean again. He doesn’t deserve one single thought, but it isn’t easy to forget about the love of your life.
“I told you before, there is no need to thank me for hiring you,” Arthur pats your shoulder. “We work together like a well-oiled machine. I have to thank you.”

At the same time, Dean’s office, …
“Dean, I don’t get why you won’t try to find Y/N. She just upped and left that night. I heard her crying in your shared room, but she wouldn’t open the door.”
“She just upped and left, that’s right,” Dean snaps at his younger brother. “He rises from his seat to glare at Sam. “She left her ring on the bed! No note, no reason why. This told me everything I needed to know.”
“Just saying, that’s not her. Y/N would never do such a thing,” Sam interjects. “You know her better than me, but Y/N once told me that she hates unfinished business. She would’ve talked things out if you only gave her a chance!”
“Why are you so interested in my love life?” Dean snaps at his brother. “Y/N left and that’s that. Whatever we had is over.”
“Whatever you had?” Sam huffs and shakes his head. “You wanted to marry her, Dean. Dean Winchester wanted to settle down and have a family. If not for your mishap at the party, you’d be happy with her.”
“Mishap?” Dean splutters. “I don’t remember much of that night. I got a little drunk to find the guts to tell Mom and Dad about my engagement. Maybe I talked a little bit too long with Lisa. That’s all!”
“You ignored your fiancé for your ex-girlfriend, Dean,” Sam makes a face. He can’t fathom that his brother believes he wasn’t in the wrong that night. “You could’ve been happy with Y/N if not for your self-manipulative behavior. We both know you did this on purpose to make Y/N leave you.”
“What?” Dean gasps.
“Y/N was the best thing ever happening to you and you got scared again. So, you allowed Lisa Braeden to be all over you. No woman will stay by your side if she feels unwanted.”
“Leave me alone,” Dean grunts. “It’s over for good. I wouldn’t know where to look for her either way.”
“I can call a friend. He’s a private investigator and could easily find Y/N,” Sam tries one last time to make his brother see that he should do anything to get you back. “Dean don’t lose her out of stubbornness. You were in the wrong.”
“She could’ve stayed and talked to me. Just give up,” Dean drops his eyes to the little black box on his desk. “I did when I woke up to an empty bed, her ring in my hand.”
“I hope Mother is happy now,” Sam snaps at his brother. “She always wanted you to settle for Lisa Braeden, the woman breaking your heart.”
“Sammy,” Dean swallows thickly. “She was my fiancé, not yours. Stay out of my business.” He says instead of asking Sam to help him. Dean is too proud to admit that he’s missing you like hell.
If only he knew why you didn’t even leave a note…

Yes to heaven ~✨Pt1|| Pt2
(ROYALTY AU!)
Pairing: Prince Dazai x Fem! Reader
Warning: arranged marriage, Enemies to lovers, Dazai being an ass to you at first, slightly suggestive at the end
Word count: ~1.4k
The Crown Prince of Eastern empire was known to be free soul, someone who doesn't like to be bound by rules and regulations. To such a Prince an arranged marriage was a nightmare. It all happened when he was summoned by the emperor a month ago. It was not the first time when his father the king arranged a married partner for him, he always used his antics to get rid of them but this time it was different. Dazai was told that if he doesn't agree to marry the princess of western empire he would be dethroned from his position as the prince, just for the sake of peace negotiations.
" Your Highness, the delegation from the western empire will be arriving tomorrow. And the wedding will be held the day after. I was told by the king to inform you all the preparations are done so you are to escort the princess tomorrow." said the grand chamberlain.
" Hah!! why should I escort her ? "
" That's cause she is your fiancée and soon to be wife. and I am sure the emperor already warned you to be on your best behavior" chamberlain warned him.
Dazai really hated the idea of marrying a complete stranger, much to his dismay he had no choice in this matter.
Next day when the delegation arrived Dazai was also waiting for you. He pretended not to but was still somewhat curious about what kind of person you were. The moment you came out of your carriage, Dazai was mesmerized by your beauty, he had heard the rumors of the western princess being an absolute beauty, he felt that the rumors did no justice to your beauty. But he tried to maintain his façade of not being interested. After all the formalities and the audience with the emperor, Dazai was told to show you your chamber.
It was finally the two of you alone and you tried to initiate a conversation with him but he paid no heed to your small talks.
" I'll get straight to the point, this marriage is just for the sake of our countries not because we want it. so don't even try to expect something from me. Either way you'll have to bear me. The maids will show you the rest of the way." Dazai deadpanned and just left you there before you could even reply.
After that you didn't get any opportunity to see him until the wedding. It was a grand wedding, delegations from various countries were there to witness the two empires tying knot. But to Dazai none of it mattered it was just something he had to get over with.
After the wedding was over, you were waiting for him in your chambers for the first night but he never came. The next morning you asked the maids about Dazai's whereabouts, they told you that he left the palace this early morning to inspect nearby villages due to flooding and won't be back for another week. A week passed and you were quick to adjust to your new surroundings, due to your open personality everyone took a liking to you already. When Dazai returned he saw you taking a walk in the garden, talking to the knights nearby. That evening he invited you for tea and you finally got the chance to talk to him.
" Hmm ~ I see you are already familiarized with the people in the palace. One might even think you've been living here for a long time." Dazai said sarcastically.
" Well after all my husband left me alone for a week just after our marriage so I had to get accustomed here. " Dazai was vexed by your response.
" I think I already told you not to expect anything from me. Besides you are surprisingly doing well for someone who was married off in a foreign land against her will. "
" I think you are mistaken about something, although it's true our marriage was arranged but marrying you was my own choice, no one forced this all on me." you told him firmly. Dazai was shocked by your response.
" Good for you then. Suit yourself. " he said hiding his initial bewilderment and then left.
After that day Dazai joined you for lunch or dinner frequently. Sometimes he also joined you for tea or brunches. He stopped avoiding you to a certain measure, instead he started to playfully annoy you but you were never bothered by him. You both started to hit it off together sometimes he rants to you about how the other nobles bother him or how his father nags him about his responsibilities. Or he just simply jokes around. He also started to observe you more, despite being a princess initially, you never looked down on others you always treated others with kindness no matter their status. You were not like the other stuck up noble women he met before. As the time went by you just started to plague his mind.
Soon after a banquet and a grand ball was held in celebration of emperor's birthday. Everyone was quiet busy due to the preparations, so was Dazai he couldn't find time to meet you. It was on the day of the ball he could finally see you after a long time. As you were to go together as a couple. You were getting ready by your maids when when he came to pick you up, so he was told to stay outside. When you came outside Dazai couldn't take his eyes off of you, calling you pretty was an understatement. To him you looked like an angel descended from heaven. Your long silk gown cupping your curves perfectly, Your long hair tied up in a bun letting some loose strands fall on your shoulders, those long eyelashes, your eyes which seemed to contain the whole universe in them, oh and those red lips of yours oh how would it feel to touch them ? He could feel himself melt in your presence.
" Shall we go ? " as you asked him he was shook away from his trance.
He was quiet all the way to the ballroom which was unusual for him and you were quick to notice that he was acting strange. Before you could ask him what was wrong your entry was announced.
Crown prince Dazai and princess ( name ) have arrived.
After that you both proceeded to greet the emperor and few other nobles. It was your first time coming to such a social event after your marriage. You were quickly surrounded by people who wanted to win your favor. You tried to find Dazai but he was pulled by other nobles. After some time you were able to get out of from the crowd. You were completely exhausted so you decided to have drink. Just then someone came to ask you for a dance, you puzzled whether to accept or not cause it would be impolite to reject his invitation. Suddenly Dazai came from behind and grabbed you by your waist.
" Sorry gentlemen but my wife seems to be tired so we will be taking our leave. If you will excuse us ." Dazai said smiling but there was an underlying sternness in his voice. Everyone left you alone after that. For the whole evening Dazai couldn't take off his eye from you, he saw you surrounded by those snake like people trying to gain your attention. What pissed him even more were those scummy men who were trying to approach you thinking as if they have a chance with you.
As for you, It was the first time Dazai ever called you his wife you were taken aback by his demeanor so you just asked him,
" Since when did you start calling me your wife?" you taunted him.
" Well technically you are my wife so what's wrong with me calling you my wife. Besides I don't like idea of those dirtbags thinking they could have what's mine." He then pulled you away to an empty balcony. Before you could say anything he cupped your cheeks placing his thumb on your lips smudged your lipstick. You could feel your blood running through your cheeks making you blush.
" Dazai wha- He shuts you abruptly by locking his lips with yours, It was a slow and sensual kiss. He could feel you melt in his arms as you reciprocated his kiss, hooking your arms on his neck. Both of you pull apart for a second to look at each other, then once again lean in to kiss but this time more passionate, all your senses were overpowered by the feeling of pure ecstasy, running out of breathe you pulled away again. Then Dazai suddenly whispers in your ear " Don't you think we have postponed our first night for quiet a long time~ "

Could Johannes Cabal, a necromancer of some little infamy, survive the horrors?
Points in favor:
Regularly punches above weight class. Has, to date, outwitted Satan and Nyarlathotep, among others.
Clever and brutally pragmatic. He's a planner that can think on the fly and is not afraid to get his hands dirty to get what he wants.
Capable of surprising feats of athleticism. While he's definitely more on the nerd side of the spectrum and still very human, he's gotten very good at running.
Is very hung up on the death of his fiancée, to the point where he's willing to try and conquer death to bring her back. Attempts to seduce him tend to fall very, very flat.
Has a vast array of knowledge on a variety of obscure topics, particularly medicine; despite being a necromancer he's more of a science (anti-)hero than a magic one.
Regularly deals with the supernatural, including vampires. In fact, his brother is one.
Points against:
Regularly mouths off to things that could squish him like bug (see: Satan, Nyarlathotep). Part of the reason he has so many enemies is because he's a sarcastic bastard.
Decent liar, but tends to go with brutal honesty, even when lying would definitely be better socially.
Has the emotional intelligence of a tea spoon, especially when his brother isn't around to translate and act as conscience.
Has a smile that would make children and small animals flee in terror.
I didn't recognize the name (so, apparently, too little infamy) so I consulted with yet another of my niche media contacts who said:
Dracula, thinking a Johannes is practically a Jonathan, this'll be easy-- -smash cut to him gawping as Cabal summons a demon in his dining room to confirm what parts of a Scholomance students he needs for his next resurrection formula-
I am getting the impression that Mr Cabal outclasses Dracula rather severely. It sounds like he would be quite unimpressed by Dracula and make no effort to hide that fact. They'd hate each other and fight like cats evil wizards in a sack. I think this guy might do real well in a saw trap.
Who would win in a fight tends to be the least interesting question this blog can answer. Dracula's got the dubious aid of three subordinate vampires who also hate his guts. Cabal can apparently summon demons who likely outrank Dracula in the infernal hierarchy. Eh? Maybe the better question is who can be the bigger asshole.
Cabal's mission (? vocation? driving force?) is to fight Death, and Dracula seems very pleased to style himself the anthropomorphic personification thereof. But can he actually beat Death? Or has he doomed himself to endless striving? Is his formula ever going to work? Or is the impossibility of his task the whole point?
It sounds like Johannes Cabal can't really play the game but also doesn't really need to. They're interacting on a very different level. I appreciate that he's a good runner. He's not going to choose certain death. And if Actual Satan hasn't murdered him I daresay Dracula might have trouble as well.
So I'll go ahead and say Johannes Cabal, a necromancy of some little infamy, can survive Castle Dracula
I have read he is a good planner. I am not qualified to speculate as to what sort of plan will get him out, but I encourage those who know him better to take up the task

Obey Me! Dateables: A Demon Tries to Harass You But You Kick Their Ass
Tumblr media
TW: unconsensual touching from other demons, punching, pinning down, hitting, mentions of killing, physical violence
—————
Diavolo:
As Diavolo’s future spouse, you were well aware of the amount of people in the Devildom who hated you. Jealous fangirls, traditionalists, and power-hungry diplomats all had a vendetta against you. However, most of them just left a few hate comments and went on their way. It was never an enormous issue. The majority of the Devildom had a positive opinion of you, and you knew what you were getting into when you agreed to marry the Prince of Hell.
You and Diavolo were at a press conference to answer questions about your engagement, and after the initial interview, you decided to take a break and use the restroom. As you were washing your hands, the door swung upon behind you.
You glanced up in the mirror to see a man leaning back against the closed door. “Hello, human.”
“Hello, sir. Can I help you with something?” you asked politely.
“Yes, you can actually.” he sneered, taking a few strides towards you. “You can disappear from the Devildom forever. We don’t need a human marrying our Prince.”
You chuckled coldly, putting your hands on your hips. “Well, unfortunately I can’t do that for you sir. See, I’m unable to just spontaneously cease to exist.”
“Then I’ll take care of you myself-“ he griped, winding his arm back to take a punch.
You caught his fist in your dominant hand, gripping his forearm with the other. He furrowed his brow at you, seemingly confused that you were able to stop his attack so easily. He barely had time to register the thought before you had him pinned to the ground, pressing his face into the floor.
“You can hate me all you want, sir. But nothing is going to stop me from marrying Lord Diavolo.” you hissed, a sinister smirk plastered on your face. “You’ll just have to accept the fact that a weak, worthless little human got way further in their short life than you ever will in your immortality.”
Suddenly, the bathroom door swung open. You flipped your head around to see Diavolo looking down at you with huge eyes. He quickly shut the door behind him and ran towards you. “My love, are you alright?” he inquired, large hands patting over your body to identify any signs of injury.
“I’m okay Dia, this crazy anarchist just tried to attack me.” you chuckled, nodding toward the man underneath you.
“He what?” your fiancé seethed. He looked down at the man with such untamed rage that you thought he was going to kill him.
“Dia, it’s okay.” you reassured him. “I took him down didn’t I?”
He exhaled, trying to calm himself down. “Well thank the heavens that nothing happened to you this time.” He placed a hand gently on your cheek. “I’m so sorry I wasn’t here to protect you. I should’ve never let you come here alone. From now on, you’ll be under constant supervision by the Royal Guard.”
Your mouth dropped open in surprise. “Even just to go to the bathroom?”
He looked at you sympathetically, putting a hand on your shoulder. “I’m sorry my love, but it’s for your own safety. This is what it’s like being a royal.”
You thought to yourself for a moment, then smiled at him. “Okay, I understand. Whatever it takes to be with you.”
He smiled back, then placed a soft kiss on your cheek. “I love you so very much. You’re going to be an amazing monarch. I couldn’t have chosen anyone better.”
You rested your forehead against his, nuzzling his nose with your own. “Neither could I.”
He suddenly looked down at the man who had been struggling in your grasp the whole time. “Well, I suppose we should turn him over to the guards.” He looked back up at you with a cheeky grin. “You ready to face the press again?”
You winked at him playfully. “You know it babe.”
Barbatos:
You and Barbatos just had a lovely shopping trip to one of his favorite tea shops. After a lengthy consideration, you both finally picked out the perfect teas and teacups, and now he was walking you back to the House of Lamentation. You held your shopping bag in one hand and your handbag in the other.
“MC, are you certain you wouldn’t like me to carry one of those for you?” he asked.
“Oh Barbatos, I’m fine.” you chuckled, waving your hand at him. “I may be a human, but I’m strong enough to carry two bags. You don’t always have to act like a butler you know!”
He joined you in laughing. “My apologies, I suppose old habits die hard.”
It was truly a lovely evening. It was around dusk, and it was the perfect temperature with a light, comfortable breeze. Barbatos was about to make a remark about it, when suddenly a hooded figure dashed up next to you and swiped your shopping bag away from you!
“Why you little-” you shouted at the man, instantly sprinting after him. Barbatos was honestly shocked to see how fast you could run.
“MC wait!” he called out after you, running close behind. “It’s just tea! There’s no need to endanger yourself!”
But he might as well have been yelling at a rock, because you were much too determined to listen. You were gaining on the man, getting closer to him with every stride. Finally, you saw your opportunity and pounced on him, tackling him to the ground. Barbatos stopped in his tracks, looking down at you in awe.
“Give me back my tea you crooked thief!” you shrieked, tugging at the shopping bag. But the stranger was holding it tightly to his chest, not willing to budge. You huffed, then took your handbag off your shoulder and started beating him with it. “Give. It. Back!” Finally, he shoved the bag into your hands and sprinted away, never to be seen again.
“MC, what in the world was that?” Barbatos stuttered out, kneeling down next to you. You were too busy rummaging through your shopping bag to answer. He huffed before continuing. “You could’ve gotten hurt. What if that man was dangerous? He could’ve had a weapon. You shouldn’t risk your life just for some-“
He was cut off by you shoving something into his hands. It was a matching set of emerald green tea cups with golden handles and little white roses painted on them. He mouth dropped open the tiniest bit and his gaze softened as he looked them over.
“I got them for you, as a birthday present.” you told him with a proud smile.
“Oh MC…” he breathed, looking back up at you with an appreciative grin. “They’re absolutely beautiful. But how did you know it was my birthday?”
“I have my resources.” you winked. “That’s why I was so adamant on getting them back.”
He smiled at you again before gently setting the tea cups down to grab your hands. “You are the most reckless, stubborn, and impulsive human I’ve ever met.” He leaned forward to place a kiss on your forehead. “But you’re also the strongest, the most selfless, and the kindest.”
You giggled at his confession, then sprung forward to give him a peck on the lips. But as you went to pull away, he grabbed your cheeks to pull you in for another, more passionate kiss.
“You just can’t get enough of me can you.” you teased, mere centimeters away from his face.
“Who can blame me. I have the most amazing partner in the world.”
Simeon:
He was having a peaceful lunch in the RAD cafeteria with Luke and Solomon, waiting for you to join them at their table. Today was one of the days of the week you dedicated to eating lunch with the Purgatory Hall boys, and Simeon couldn’t be more excited to spend time with you, even if it was only a few minutes.
He noticed you walking towards them with your tray, and flashed you a bright smile. However, it soon faded away as he watched a tall, lanky demon strut his way up to you.
He couldn’t hear what you were talking about, but he could tell by the way you gripped onto your tray that you were uncomfortable. Suddenly, the demon started to put his hands on you, snaking his arms around your waist and fiddling with your hair. He was obviously trying to put the moves on you.
Just as Simeon was about to get up to help you, you sprang into action. You tossed your tray onto the table next to you, turned around in the demon’s grasp, and gripped his arm in your hands. Then, you promptly flipped him over your shoulder and onto the ground.
“I told you, I’m not interested! If you ever put your disgusting hands on me again I’ll make sure you never see the light of day again!” you screeched down at him. The whole cafeteria was silent, and all eyes were on you. But you seemed unfazed. You just ran a hand through your hair and grabbed your tray off the table you had thrown it on, walking towards Simeon again.
The chatter around the cafeteria resumed shortly after you sat down next to Simeon, who was looking at you with the brightest sparkle in his eyes.
“MC are you okay?” Luke asked. “I’ll go get you some desserts!”
“I’ll join you.” Solomon agreed, getting up to follow the child. He could sense that the two of you needed a moment alone.
You took a bite of your lunch after they had left, then glanced over at Simeon. “What is it?”
“You’re truly remarkable, you know that?” he told you, his eyes completely locked in on you.
You blushed, taken aback at his sudden praise. “What do you mean?”
“You just flipped a demon over your shoulder as if he was a stuffed animal.” he chuckled while shaking his head in disbelief. “You’re a human, and yet you’re the strongest person in this room.”
You were at a loss for words. He was looking at you as if you were some sort of deity, and you couldn’t help but enjoy it. He was the most beautiful being in the world to you, and it felt good to be the object of his admiration.
“Well…” you finally said back, clicking your tongue and glancing at the ground nervously. “I have to stand up for myself. I can’t always rely on someone else to save me.”
He leaned forward and grabbed your hand, making your heart stop. “That’s so brave of you. As your guardian angel, I will always sacrifice everything to protect you. But it’s so astounding to know that you can take care of yourself.”
You smiled at him, squeezing his hand back. “Thank you very much, Simeon. I’m happy to have you as a guardian angel.”
Just as you were getting lost in each others loving gazes, Luke and Solomon came back to your table.
“Okay, I didn’t know what you liked, so I just got them all!” the child beamed, plopping down a huge pile of cookies, cupcakes, and candy bars.
Simeon chuckled at the gesture. “Luke, I think you might’ve overdid it. But it’s okay, our wonderful MC has to build up their strength after that powerful display.” You could’ve sworn he winked at you. You just shrugged and went back to your lunch. What a crazy day.
Solomon:
The two of you had been out in the city all night, walking home through the back alleys, when suddenly a huge, burly demon lumbered up in front of you.
“Hm, what do we have here?” he hissed, making you both stop in your tracks. “Two poor little humans lost in the Devildom?”
“Actually, we’re not lost.” Solomon chuckled, and it took all of your willpower not to laugh along with him.
“Oh, you will be soon.” the stranger spat back, beginning to crack his knuckles. “I can’t pass up the opportunity to kill both the humans Lord Diavolo has brought down here as his precious exchange students.”
“Dude, back off.” Solomon demanded, beginning to stand in front of you protectively.
“Step aside, sorcerer.” the unknown demon replied, shoving past him towards you. “I’ll start with this little snack over here…”
Suddenly, your fight or flight kicked in, and you threw your arms up, launching a gust of magical power towards him. He was totally frozen in place, mid-stride. Solomon just stared at you with his mouth agape, eyes wide in shock.
“He should be frozen for a good while, let’s get out of here!” you told Solomon, grabbing onto his arm and pulling him away quickly.
“MC do you even realize what you just did?” he baffled, still too shocked to run away. You were practically dragging him through the entire alley.
“Solomon come on, we’ve got to get back to RAD before another psycho demon with a human fetish attacks us!” you pleaded, looking behind your shoulder worriedly.
“You just executed the freezing spell perfectly! You’ve never done that before!” Solomon gawked. He stopped in his tracks completely, making you huff a defeated sigh.
You turned towards him and put your hands on your hips. “Yes, I know. You only taught it to me a few days ago. I guess the danger of the situation just made my magic more powerful.” you proposed. “I know I’m only an apprentice, but-“
“I’m so proud of you.” he interrupted.
You looked up at him, stunned. You tried to fight the pink blush that threatened to creep its way up your cheeks. “Really?” you asked.
“Mhm.” he nodded, stepping closer to you. He stopped in front of you, hooking a finger under your chin to prompt you to look up at him. “You’re becoming so powerful.”
At this point, your heart was practically beating out of your chest. Everything around you was starting to grow hazy. Was he putting a spell on you? Was it just the adrenaline of the attack? Or maybe… it was just the natural affect he had on you.
You couldn’t hold back any longer, and threw your hands up to hold onto his face. You pulled him in and crashed your lips against his, knocking the breath right out of him. He quickly recovered, moving his hands down to your waist as he deepened the kiss. After a little while, you slowly backed away, eyelashes fluttering hazily.
“Thank you, Solomon. It’s because you’re such a good teacher.”
“No, my dear. It’s because you’re a truly gifted apprentice.”

You’re Mine | Josh Lambert x Reader
Tumblr media
fandom : Insidious (especially Chapter 2)
pairing : Possessed!Josh Lambert x Fem!reader
summary : You knew Josh when you were little. Two of you grew up together with Josh’s mother. You are an orphan and your mother used to be Josh’s mother’s best friend. You’ve known since childhood that Josh can see ghosts, more specifically the ghost of a woman who always bothers him. You two went through that kind of thing until you grew up and got engaged. But you didn’t expect that what happened to Josh this time was the worst….
Except you fuck Josh while he’s still possessed.
warning ⚠️ : Josh being possessive. sexually explicit content, fingering, rough and angry sex, unprotected sex, p in v sex.
That morning was the peak when you felt that the person sleeping with you was not really your fiancé, but someone else. Since Elise died, you have had an uneasy feeling that you swore you didn't want your hunch to be true, but as each day goes by Josh's behavior, you are increasingly convinced that your hunch about Josh killing Elise is probably true.
And now you feel so afraid of your own fiancé.
Josh hugged you from behind, his pale face exposed to the morning sun through the window, smiled at you, “I want to make hot coffee, do you want it too, hun?”
You rubbed your eyes, took off the blanket that was originally on your body then you said, “I hate coffee, do you remember?” you said quietly. You were a little scared by the change in Josh’s expression. You know that your fiancé is being possessed, but you have no other choice, you have to assume you don’t know anything for your own safety.
“Tea with a less sugar is enough for me.” you said again, then Josh smiled broadly and kissed your lips gently.
Since Elise's death, the most different thing that you feel about your fiancé is that he hasn’t slept with you again. Of course sex isn’t everything in your life, and you don’t mind if your partner just wants to cuddle and kiss while sleeping all night, but this isn’t like Josh Lambert at all. So far, you have never asked to have sex openly through words, but what you have done is only through touch.
You once tried to have a hot and intense kiss with your fiancé and started touching his cock, but he just smiled and didn’t seems care about it.
“thank you,” you said in a low voice as Josh handed you a cup hot tea.
You and Josh sat at the dining table, facing each other, you said, “Josh… I want to come with you to buy some breakfast on the road later. I haven’t had time to buy food supplies. When you get to school, can I borrow your car to go to the Grocery Store?”
“Yes, yes of course hun..”
Josh smiled, holding your hand gently. You act very awkward in front of him, how could it not be? You literally live at home with your fiancé who is being possessed. But then again, you have no choice, you have to stay calm, until you can contact his mother.
When you arrived at school, you got out of the car. Josh, with his face still looking deathly pale, smiled at you as you adjusted his tie. He touched your face really gently, and then kissed your lips. He did a French kiss by playing with his tongue, you breathlessly said, “stop...Josh...stop. We’re at school.”
Students passed by you and Josh and they giggled and smiled.
You smiled at him, “you are a teacher, there are a right time when we do that. Now go, be a good teacher and not mislead.” You said while pushing Josh’s back.
“Your woman is very sexy, sir!” said a student passing them with his gang. That guy chewed his gum while staring at your butt.
Josh turned his head and looked at the child angrily. you say, "please don't get carried away."
Josh didn't say anything, he just stared at the child's back as he walked further away from them. You noticed that Josh was looking at the man with hatred.
“Josh…”
“I want to go first, it's my time to teach.” said Josh briefly.
When Josh was about to leave, you patted his shoulder, “I’m sorry, I almost forgot to put the breakfast we bought earlier in your bag.” You said, then quickly opened the car door and took the lunch box containing gourmet sandwiches.
“Just give me that…” you said, grabbing his briefcase and opening it.
You gasped and were shocked when you were about to put Josh’s breakfast into his bag. You almost dropped the bag, he was really confused.
“Are you okay, hun?” Josh asked with a confused face.
You covered your mouth, your body felt cold sweat now. Because what you see is a sharp knife inserted between the book and the document paper.
You were so shocked that you couldn't even speak a word. With a shaking body and very scared, you opened the car door and locked it as you got into the car.
“What’s wrong, hun? What’s wrong!” Josh asked, his facial expression changed to anger, and became so scary.
He hit the car window several times, “What's wrong? You can talk to me, don’t just go away!” When you started driving your car, he was still trying to open the car door and hit the car window, but you quickly left the school.
You shed your tears. Your body is still frozen, and you are very, very scared. As you drive, you turn on your phone and open Lorraine Lambert’s number to call her.
It didn't take long, after the cellphone rang, Lorraine voice began to be heard amidst your sobs.
“What's wrong, Y/N? What's wrong with you?” Lorraine asked panicked.
“I saw a knife in Josh's bag earlier, and… and I….” you stopped because you feel out of breath.
Lorraine from the phone line tried to calm you down, “Please calm down, I know you’re very scared right now...” said Lorraine, you turned the steering wheel of your car to the right, towards a quieter road.
“I’m going to your house now, please be careful on the road.” said Lorraine then quickly turned off the phone.
When you got home, you saw Lorraine waiting for you in the yard. You quickly ran and hugged her. Your body is shaking because you’re still very scared. You guys went into the house and from there you told Lorraine everything.
“I think that when Josh went into that other world, something else came back.”
I know, I can feel. I think he's possessed. you said while lowering your head, “He’s different, I... I feel like I live in this house with a stranger.”
“You have to leave this house quickly.” said Lorraine in a serious tone.
“No, I’m fine. I can live with him as if nothing had ever happened before,” you said, wiping your tears, “I know he’s there, Mom, I know,” you said. You really consider Lorraine like your own mother, considering that she also raised you.
“Y/N…. you have to be careful. I will ask them for help, you hold on.”
You hated that this was all happening to you again, but you had no other choice.
After a long conversation that morning, now Lorraine has left you alone at home. This is your decision, to face everything alone. Even though you are often haunted and followed by the ghost of a woman dressed in white, you are okay with that and you know you can survive in that house until...
You feel someone’s breath on your chest then the breath moves towards your neck. A soft and seductive breath making you wake up and realize that you were fast asleep on the couch after Lorraine’s visit.
You saw those blue eyes that looked so perfect with that deathly pale face that showed so much lust.
Without warning, Josh grabbed your body which was still on the couch. He bit your neck aggressively and full of lust. You froze, and surprisingly, you didn’t fight back at all. You just woke up and suddenly your fiancé who is being possessed is try to fuck you after you haven’t done it for a long time.
You know that he’s being possessed, but you’re suddenly weak, because miss that body…
and that dick.
“Hun, I’m really sorry... I should have explained to you about earlier. What you see… it was a carving knife. The art teacher there asked me to bring an art carving knife for wood carving leather crafts, because I used to have one..” Josh said in a very soft voice against your cheek.
“No, it wasn’t a carving knife, I saw it!” you said trying to defend yourself.
But Josh held your body, “Shhhh, hun, please stop being like this. You left me like before, all this time you were also scared and paranoid.”
“No, but…” you said but Josh quickly covered your lips with his index finger, “don't ruin this moment, bitch.”
Josh’s expression changed drastically to become very scary. He bit your neck causing you to let out a moan from your mouth. He put his body on top of you, his lips moved to your jaw and he kissed and lick your jaw very aggressively.
You felt Josh’s breath rising and falling on your neck and jaw. He said, “Your fragrance makes me even more crazy… than what I did before.”
You don’t understand what Josh means, about what crazy things he did before. You try to fight him, but you can’t. You were too weak for him, and he put you in paradise.
Josh’s right hand entered your thin shirt and he immediately opened your bra from behind. His fingers traced the perfect shape of your breasts through your shirt, and he played with your nipples with lazy movements.
You can’t deny it. He look dead and pale but that made him look even hot.
Josh opened your thin shirt roughly, almost tearing it. He unbuttoned your pants, and now inserted his fingers into your clit. He played with your clit then inserted two fingers into your pussy, he’s making you moan so loud.
He looks at you with a satisfied smile because he has made your pussy very wet.
Josh opened your leggings roughly. He starts to take out his hard cock and insert it into your vagina very quickly.
You can feel the couch that you’re laying on is very wet now. Josh fucked you very fast. Makes you moan very loudly all the way to the end of the room. Josh- who incidentally you know that he’s not really Josh because he’s being possessed, honestly…. whoever he is now, he fucks you really good.
“You’ve been waiting a long time for my cock into your pussy, right… slut?” said Josh then he started to speed up his movements. “You know what I’m doing, but you choose to stay here because you are a miserable bitch who wants me to fuck so hard like this?”
Josh kissed your lips very aggressively, then he choke your neck. He speeds up the movement of his hard big cock in you, making you even more out of breath because he’s choking you harder.
“Please...” you groaned, trying to pull Josh’s hands away which were choking your neck.
You thought at that moment he was going to kill you, but apparently he didn’t. He released the choke when he was cum in you.
Josh this time hugged your body, and continued his movements, which this time were gentler than before, he continued without removing his cock from inside you. It's like, he won’t stop until you’re completely cum.
“Why are you so beautiful...”Josh said hoarsely in your ear, he kept kissing your lips brutally, “you’re mine, no one can see your body and praise you except me.” Josh said against your lips.
He bites your neck again, and now your neck is very visible with red marks. You felt his big cock speed up in your pussy, and Josh kissed your jaw, you were instantly at your climax. Josh quickly takes his cock out of your pussy and then you cum everywhere.
Josh kissed you, “It was all worth it.”
You looked away and said, "Josh.. what were you doing before?” You emphasized the last word as he said it earlier.
Josh smiled as if he didn't know anything, “What? What do you mean?”

You had grown accustomed to living alone in your apartment. After your previous roommate moved out to live with her fiancé and letting your name alone fall under the lease, it was considerably harder to meet rent. You had begun overworking yourself to scrabble just enough money to pay your landlord, phone bills - you name it, but it was leaving you feeling fatigue.
With your time off of work when it was granted to you, though, instead of catching up on sleep, you chose to meet with Josh, who was your best friend. You had met him at a small venue that had a multitude of bands performing a mix of country and rock music, and you both bonded over your gratitude for music. You later found out that he had just moved there, along with his twin, who had sought for a new surrounding for his music career. Josh, on the other hand, was a semi-successful short film director who had the opportunity to move out to Nashville for his job. You two clicked instantly, and he insisted on you meeting his brother, to which you were excited over.
But when you met Jake, your enthusiasm about him faltered. Although him and Josh had similar qualities besides their physique, he was much more egocentric. He had held himself on a pedestal, boasting about his life and all his accomplishments, which you grew bored of quickly. You didn't want to have the connotation that he only cared about himself, but your mind couldn't stop you from thinking that.
After spending more time with the twins when you had free time on your hands, you had realized how much Jake bothered you. Sure, at first, he was a stunning individual, but the aggravating part of that was that he knew how handsome of a guy he was and flaunted it. Never asking you many questions unless he was trying to flirt with you, or shooting a snarky remark that only made you roll your eyes. Hate is a strong word, but you strongly disliked his company.
So, you told Josh about your preference, that meaning you didn't want Jake hanging around anymore. He irritated you, and as much as Josh loved his brother, he was very understanding and cut the hangouts with the three of you to a small minimum, then none at all.
You and Josh chose a nearby coffee house, which you worked at, that sat in the middle of both of your guys' apartments to meet at weekly if you were able to. It was mainly for catching up and chatting about numerous things, but sometimes it was just to get out of your apartment and spend some quality time with him. As much of a workaholic you became, it was nice to take a break every so often. And you adored Josh, so seeing him was like a reward after a long week.
You had taken a seat outside on the small patio in a black metal chair after you were served a white mug filled with coffee, waiting for Josh to arrive in front of you. After a few moments, you turned your head to hear his cheerful greeting with a wave, and his other hand occupying a cup of green tea.
He walked over to your side, pulling you into a side hug before sitting across from you and sitting down with a sigh.
"Lovely day out, isn't it?" He threw his hand up while his curls flew with his motions, looking around the sky before meeting your eyes.
"My favorite season has always been fall. Perfect temperature, y'know?" You agreed with him.
He nodded with a hum. "A shame you don't get to experience it as much with how often you work though." He shrugged.
"Some of us aren't as lucky as you to have a high-paying job. Getting sick and tired of the routine."
Josh took a sip from his brown cup, setting it down with his lips pressed together into a smile. "I mean, there's always a solution to end your 'suffering'. Getting a new job, perhaps. Or finding a roommate to help you pay the bills."
"I make pretty good money here - the tips are great," you assure him, "but I don't know how long I can go on doing this. Have considered moving out and downsizing to a smaller place." You looked into the store, bustling with customers you were thankful you didn't have to deal with this day. "But finding a roommate isn't a bad idea. Hell, I've got an empty room collecting dust. Just don't know how to go about finding one."
"Was hoping you'd ask that." He drummed his hands on the table. You set your white, porcelain mug onto the table after he finished the rhythm he set on the round table and looking to him with a confused look.
"You know someone that's looking for a place to stay?" You leaned close to him with your voice brought close to a whisper.
"I do, in fact," he began, "and you know him." His lips curled into a coy smirk, wiggling his eyebrows at you.
You squinted your eyes. "Him? What, is Jake looking for a place?" You chuckled.
Josh shrugged at you with his smile growing wider, and you immediately tried shooting him down. Before you could speak, he cut you off.
"Look, I know how you feel about him, but it would take out the awkward stage of getting to know someone new. And I think he's doing alright on booking shows, so he's ready to move out. Think if he was good on his own though, he would've found his own place by now, but I don't know." He gave you a shrug.
"Move out? Wait, where is he staying now?" You crossed your arms.
"Well, he was going through a rough period and got kicked out of his apartment. Needed somewhere to stay until he got back onto his feet, so I told him he could crash at my place until he could fund himself. And I don't know how he's exactly doing with money, but I know he's making it, and I don't think he'd mind your company. Besides, I think he should upgrade to a room of his own instead of my living room."
You shook your head. "I think I'll take a shot at looking for a roommate that isn't a pretentious dick. Post something on Facebook or one of those websites that are made for people looking for roommates."
He grabbed your hand into his. "You'd be doing a huge favor for me, and I could find a way to make it up to you somehow. I know you're just barely meeting rent, and I think Jake is a good option. Might even help you get over how you feel about him."
You sighed, relaxing your shoulders as you thumbed the back of his hand. "I don't really know how being stuck in a confined space with someone you don't like helps making you feel better towards them. I can only imagine it becoming worse."
"Why don't you just think about it? Give it some thought, get back to me, and then give me a final answer. I'll even help him move in, stop by often to make sure there's no tension. It would take a huge weight off your shoulders with how much you work, y/n. You can sit here and say you don't mind working double shifts nearly every day, but you seem to have permanent eye bags."
You removed your hand from his and swatted his shoulder, causing him to chuckle and put his hands up in defense, then reserving them to wrap around his cup.
"Well, I mean there's other places for him to stay, right? Like, he could move back in with your guys' parents."
"He's too prideful for that." He shook his head. "I know he isn't your only option, but he's probably the quickest way to fix your problem. Think about it for a few days, alright?"
You pressed your lips together as you sharply inhaled. The immediate answer was a hard no, but to give Josh some peace of mind, you obliged. "Fine. I'll think about it. But that doesn't mean it's a yes. Don't get too excited."
He nodded with a smile dancing on his lips, taking a sip from his tea and letting the conversation end in the air.
. ⋅ ˚̣- : ✧ : – ⭒ ⊹ ⭒ – : ✧ : -˚̣⋅ .
With it being a week since your conversation with Josh, you had posted on almost every site you could find in search of a roommate. You were becoming desperate, impatient with the time it was taking for a response. You weren't going to choose your seemingly only option, which was served on a bitter, silver platter in front of you. You had hope that someone would answer your posts, since you had chosen about five websites, so you tried to clear your mind of it. Thankfully, work was a great way to keep your focus away from everything else, so you hadn't put much thought into Jake moving in with you.
But, when you had time to think about it, your immediate thought was an absolute no. Surely your apartment would feel cramped with his large ego making a home in it, so there was no way you'd ponder on the idea any longer. The only thing that had you second-guessing your decision was Josh, who said it would be doing a huge favor for him. It was hard to say no to Josh, especially with his infectious smile and sly ways of convincing you into something. It was a blessing and a curse, but in the long run, everything worked out when you said yes to him.
So, what was the main reason why you didn't want Jake to move in with you? Sure, yours and his's interactions weren't the best, along with his first impression leaving you feeling quite uncertain about him. But truly, you were unsure why you didn't like him besides that.
When you walked into work the next day, you figured a second opinion would do you justice on the situation at hand. Your coworker, Stacie, who was the first person you befriended at your job, was about the only person who had worked as much as you. So, seeing her as often as you did, you and her became extremely close overtime.
"I just don't know, Stace," you scrubbed the inside of a mug as you stood next to her at the front counter, "Jake just isn't the kind of person I want living with me. He drives me fucking nuts."
She huffed a laugh. "Why do you let him bother you? He doesn't seem too harmless."
"Of course, you say that. You haven't had the 'honor' of meeting him." You rolled your eyes. "It gets annoying after a while, y'know, setting himself on a high horse and boasting about his lively life. He's just so full of himself that it boils my skin."
"What's the worst that could happen? You and him quarrel a bit, but you both eventually get over it. So what? I mean, you'll probably barely see him with how much you work."
You shrugged with an eyeroll. "Just don't want to narrow my options down to one person just yet." You set the clean mug under the counter and sighed deeply, placing your palms flat on the counter and looking to her.
"Can I be honest with you?" She asked. You gave her a nod, and she continued. "I think you don't want him to move in with you because you're scared that he's actually not as bad as you've put him out to be. You don't want to realize that there's a good possibility you're going about this all wrong."
You pressed your lips tightly together. "I've had plenty of interactions with him to know who he is. If he truly isn't as egotistical as he acts in public, then you can tell me you told me so. How about that?"
"So, you're going to let him move in with you?" Her lips curled into a grin.
"I haven't made up my mind yet, Stace," you shot her down quickly, "but, if another week passes and I still have no one interested in being my roommate, then I might as well call it quits." You shrugged.
"I'll keep asking around for you," she winked at you, "however, I don't think he's a bad option. He's a musician, right?"
"Claims to be. I've never actually seen him perform, though. All I know is that he plays guitar and can sing from what Josh has told me, and Jake going on and on about how many people want to sign him."
She rolled her eyes with a light giggle. "Well, you'll have to let me know how truly talented he is once you hear it. Or, better yet, have him perform here."
She motioned her hand over to the small stage across from the both of you, that sat in the back middle of the shop. It was used as an open-mic stage on Friday's and Saturday's, but usually only had one or two acts consisting of musicians and comedians.
"I'm never giving him that opportunity. If work is my only escape from him, then I'm keeping it that way." You crossed your hands over one another.
"Sounds like you want him to move in with you." She kept her pleased smile on her face as she teased you.
"I wouldn't count on it!" You said in a sing-song tone, turning away from her and beginning to clean another mug.
. ⋅ ˚̣- : ✧ : – ⭒ ⊹ ⭒ – : ✧ : -˚̣⋅ .
After work that night, you stared up at your ceiling, flat on your back, in thought. When your apartment was filled with silent air, only accessing your mind to fill with your roommate situation, you were left thinking about Jake. Different outcomes of the living arrangement flooded your brain, and you couldn't put them to rest. What if he truly wasn't as bad as you put him out to be, just as Stacie said? What if he was a genuine person who only put on a facade in public?
You decided to call Josh in slight frustration, waiting only a few moments as the phone rang for him to pick up.
"Speaking." Josh said.
"Hey," you sighed, "have time to talk?"
"Is this a talk-on-the-phone situation, or do I need to drive over?" He asked.
"I don't have a preference," you took a breath, squeezing your eyes shut, "it's about Jake."
"First time I think you've called me about him in a long time," he chuckled, "what's up? Have a final decision on the matter?"
You shook your head as you relaxed your eyes open. "I'm unsure. I talked with Stacie about it, and she tells me it's a good idea, but..."
"You think you're going to regret it?"
"Yeah, yeah I do," you huffed a laugh, "she gave me the idea that I am going about this all wrong and to just give it a shot, despite what I think."
"Meaning you think he's a 'pretentious dick', as you like to refer to him as?" Josh spoke.
"I guess. I mean, you know him better than I do. And I want full honesty when I ask this, but is he really that cocky all the time?"
Josh hesitated for a moment before he began. "Well, there's a short and a long answer to this. The short answer is no. The long one is that it's complicated."
"Care to explain?" You asked him.
"You know how when you meet someone, sometimes you try so hard to make a good first impression that you come across as vain? Yeah, well, he tends to do that. He's not particularly mean, nor as self-absorbed as he likes to pretend. Although, he is a bit arrogant at times, that's only really in a public setting. In a more intimate one such as a home, he's a great guy. I wouldn't set you up for failure if I knew it wasn't a good idea."
"Define great guy. Because that term has a lot of meaning behind it."
Josh chuckled into the phone. "Okay, uh, well, he's a kind person. Very caring, affectionate. He's got an interesting personality on him. Like, once you truly get to know him, he's quite funny. His humor is very similar to mine, but he doesn't like to show it off as much. I'd consider him a bit more reserved in that way. He's the kind of person that'll go to the ends of the earth when you need him to, the kind of person that would be there for you at a drop of a hat. It's hard to believe he's that way, from your experiences with him, but as I've known him a bit longer than you, you've just got to take my word for it."
You began to pick at the bottom hem of your shorts, watching your fingers twist the material in your fingertips. "Maybe I'm just overthinking too much."
"Yeah, and maybe worried that you're going to be miserable. I'm not going to lie to you, it'll take some time to warm up to him, but you'll be golden once he finally lets his guard down."
"I guess." You shrugged. That's all you could say to him, because frankly, you didn't know what else to follow that up with. You had too many questions that you could've bombarded him with, and despite knowing that Josh would answer everything, you just chose to flatly answer back to him.
"He likes you, y'know." Josh mentioned to you shyly.
You released a boastful laugh, tilting your head back into your pillow. "Yeah, right. He likes the idea of me. Think the only thing he wants from me is the thing he wants from most girls."
"Who knows, but I don't know, I'm just his brother who he tells everything to." He sighed dramatically. "What, are you afraid that you might have feelings for him, too?"
"Not a chance," you continued your light laughter, "sure, he's an attractive individual, but he's not my type at all."
"Well, I predict that your mind will change with time. Perhaps, you know, him moving in with you and the both of you creating a bond... It's a perfect story line, in my opinion."
"One that would work out in one of your films?" You flicked your eyes towards your phone. "Yeah, not this story, Josh. Don't expect me to cave in just yet."
"You're a tough one to crack, I'll hand it to you. But you should know Kiszka's are quite persistent."
"I certainly know you are with how much you text me asking me if I've made my mind up yet." You shook your head and relaxed your fidgeting hand on your lower stomach.
"And there's your proof," he said, "it's getting a bit late now. As much as I'd love to talk to you all night long, I've got to get up extra early in the morning. Duty calls!"
You giggled and said your goodbyes to him. Your phone was placed flat on the bed next to you, and your eyes reserved back to the ceiling above you. With a deep breath, you repeated the conversation in your head. You trusted Josh with everything, so why should you not about Jake? Maybe he was right about him, and you were just oblivious to his true character.
Whatever the matter was, you were bored with the thought of it all. You were exhausted from your double shift earlier, and sleep was what you needed most. After a quick check for notifications on your post and finding nothing, you put your mind at slight ease and called it a night.
. ⋅ ˚̣- : ✧ : – ⭒ ⊹ ⭒ – : ✧ : -˚̣⋅ .
Why do I let him bother me so much? you thought. What was the true reason, deep down that had pulled you away from letting him move in with you?
You pondered the reason at work, since it was one of your slower days, so you had unfortunate time on your hands to dedicate to your thoughts to Jake.
Other than just getting on your nerves, there was no real reason why him moving in would be a terrible idea. You had no concept of what kind of person he would be at home, or how well he kept himself.
With all this time on your hands, you realized that you were letting your anger about your original impression on Jake get the best of you. You had never experienced him without any surrounding factors such as a bar or at Josh's house. You hadn't had a moment with Jake where you two were alone, or where he wasn't acting in his true character. As someone who had the potential to be optimistic, and trusting in Josh's words, you forced yourself to believe that Jake had yet to show his true colors.
On your break at work, you checked your posts for any texts about potential roommates. And you were left with your final decision, which you couldn't say you were jumping for joy at but were a bit relieved you had it situated.
"Josh?" You said into the phone after he picked up.
"Everything okay? I'm a bit-."
You took in a sharp inhale, squeezing your eyes shut with slight aggravation. "I've decided that I'm okay with it. Jake can move in with me."
"Wow, alright! I'll let him know. When do you want to him to be at your apartment with his stuff?"
"I guess as soon as possible. I've got rent coming up shortly, and a few other bills, so having him help me pay those will give me a good idea on how good of a roommate he will be."
"Fair enough," he said, "how about in two days? Think I can swing by for some 'moral support' and help keep everything a bit more civil. Will you be off?"
"I think I'll be able to take it off. Don't worry, I'll be there with all the paperwork for him. No way he's entering my apartment when I'm not there."
He chuckled into the phone. "Understandable. Alright, well, we'll be there. Say, in the afternoon? I can text you when we're on our way."
"That sounds good, thanks," you said, "I'll see you then."
You exchanged your goodbyes, and you exhaled a deep breath that felt like a wave of relaxation had washed over your body. You had work to worry about, rather than be upset that you had settled for Jake moving in. So, you cut your break short, and decided to put your mind on that instead.
The unfortunate part of this was having your heart banging against your chest at your seemingly spontaneous decision. How long had it been since you've seen him? A few months? You were sure that he hadn't changed in that short period of time, but all you could do was hope. There was no point in feeling annoyed with yourself and your choices, living in regret. Besides, he hadn't even unpacked his stuff into your apartment, or signed anything to make things official. As much as you were ready to already back out of your decision with your overthinking mind, you had already notified Josh, so there was no point to disappoint him.
But when the day had come that it was time for Jake to arrive at your apartment, you made sure you woke up extra early to clean your place high and low in order to set high expectations for him. You had already made your rules for him up in your mind and prepared to lay down on him. If you were going to let him live with you, you two had to be on the same page about things.
While you were lost in thought, you noticed that Josh had texted you that him and Jake were on their way. You took a deep breath, tapping your foot rapidly against the bottom of your stool and resting your cheek in your palm.
You had set the papers you received from your landlord flat on your small kitchen island, losing your sight as you stared at them. Seemingly dissociating for a moment while you sat there. This was a large change in your everyday life, and one that you didn't expect to happen any time soon. Out of all people, it was Jake who would be living in the room right next to yours, which was split by a bathroom. Too close to each other, you thought. Even a closed bedroom door would make you feel cramped by his presence.
The call box rang, and you immediately shot your eyes up to the noise and stood up with shaky legs. You answered it, hearing Josh's voice, and allowed him to enter the building. Your hands grew clammy with nervousness. Wiping them on the backs of your jeans, you stood close to the door and listened for their footsteps of arrival.
When you heard a knock at your door, you opened it immediately and saw Josh standing alone, empty-handed, with a small smile plastered on his face. He was wearing his normal attire, a white long sleeve shirt and brown khaki shorts.
"Hey," you crossed your arms, "where's Jake? And all of his stuff?"
"He wanted a tour first." He explained, then stepping into your apartment.
"What, is he unsure about moving in and my place?" You said with scrunched brows. This was off to a rough start, and you could feel your skin becoming hot. This was frustrating for you enough, and for him to make it a bit more difficult by extending the period of him settling in was just the icing on the bitter cake.
"No, he-."
"I just want the lay of the land before I bring my stuff in. Is that so bad?" Jake entered the room, throwing his hands off to his sides with a cocky grin.
You took a moment to examine him, what he was wearing, how he appeared. He had a flannel of red, blue, and green on with a white t-shirt underneath. Wearing black ripped jeans and black shoes to match, it was his casual attire that you hadn't been familiar with. It caught you off guard slightly to see an alternative appearance of him, but nonetheless, you weren't excited to see him in any way or light.
"Jake." You said as you stood up straight.
He nodded at you. "Y/n. Been a long time, hasn't it?"
"Not long enough." You shrugged.
"Alright," Josh clasped his hands together, "care to show him around?"
You flicked your eyes to Josh with a light sigh. "Yeah, sorry." You gave one more look to Jake, giving him a tight-lipped smile, and began your short tour.
You spoke minimally, showing him the kitchen that laid behind the three of you. Then, the living room that sat across from the kitchen, the short hallway that housed the bathroom and your bedroom, along with his.
You didn't enter your room, but you did allow him to look around his new room. He was quiet, just like his brother, walking around it and pressing his hand flat on the bed and pushing onto it. He nodded satisfactorily, then looked up to you with a smile.
"Is your room up to par, Jake?" Josh said to him.
"I could get used to it." He said to him.
After you left the bedroom, Josh let you know they'd be back with Jake's boxes. You offered to help, but they insisted that they had it under control.
Watching them walk in and out with Jake's items, it hit you harder that he was now living with you. You chose to set yourself against the wall outside of Jake's new bedroom, seeing them pass in and out of your apartment.
Josh stopped following Jake and chose to stand across from you on the other side of the doorframe.
"Regretting your decision?" He folded his arms.
"I don't know," you placed your head against the blue-grey wall, "I'm trying to be optimistic about this, you know, since he's going to be the reason I get to stay here." You said. "But I'm not a huge fan of him. I mean, I feel like we're already off to a rough start."
He looked over his shoulder to see Jake walking in with a singular brown box, passing the both of you and setting it in his room with the rest of his stuff. He began unpacking quietly, crouching on the ground and tearing open a few of the boxes.
"Well, there's really no backing out now." He brought his voice down to a whisper. "Maybe you should try talking to him, put your guys' past behind you and starting off fresh."
You scoffed. "Starting fresh," you shook your head, "we'll see how far that goes.
He only shrugged at you, joining his brother and helping him put his clothes into his drawers and closet. With an eye roll, you dragged yourself into the room and walked over to Jake. You noticed he had two guitar cases unopened, propped up on the walls.
"Guitars." You said to him, pointing at them.
He closed a drawer that he finished filling and lifted his head towards you. "Wasn't going to leave them at Josh's. Kind of need them, y'know? Brought my amp, too."
"How long have you been playing?"
"Ever since I could remember. Think I was two, but it feels like I've picked up a guitar as soon as I was born."
"He's quite the musician." Josh pointed at the both of you with a toothy grin.
Jake nodded at him. "Anyways, I've always liked music. I'm thankful that I get to do it as my career."
You nodded. "I'm sure it's hard finding work as a struggling soloist, huh?"
He looked at you with a scrunched face. "I've actually been able to get lots of gigs, actually. What gives you the impression that I'm not doing well for myself?"
"Well, you're moving in with me after crashing at Josh's place because you got kicked out of your own apartment. Figured if you were doing well, you'd be living on your own."
"This is more of a favor for you, alright? Do you think I was jumping for joy at the idea of living with you?" He turned his body towards you.
"More of a favor for me? I figured you would be so excited to live with me since Josh told me you-."
"I unpacked a good amount of your stuff, Jake." Josh quickly cut in. "Think it's time to get some of your 'decorations' out to make the room a bit more you."
You both looked towards Josh, giving each other a singular glare before stepping a part for each other. You felt your blood boil at the sight of his stuff bombarding your once empty room, and you realized that you began the small argument. You couldn't figure out what to talk to him about, especially since you two didn't seem to have a lot in common. But, with the unfortunate time that you had with him, you were bound to learn almost everything about him.
After the room was fully finished, throwing away the boxes outside in a large bin and Jake being fully settled in, Josh said his goodbyes to the both of you. You wished he would have stayed longer, but he would've had to leave at some point.
Before you left the room, Jake called your name.
You turned to him. "Need anything?"
"Just wondering how you feel about being stuck with me now."
"Hopefully it's not for too long." You gave him a shit-eating grin.
"Well, I think it's going to be fun living with you."
"We'll see how you feel about that when I go over the ground rules, which I think we can start with now." You nodded at him, folding your arms.
"You have rules for me? You're quite the stickler." He chuckled at you.
"It's so we can maintain a civil living environment, be on the same page about things..." You trailed off. "I'm sure there are some things you want me to be aware of."
"Perhaps I'll think of some," he exhaled his words, "but aren't rules meant to be broken sometimes?"
You noticed his lips curl into a devious smile. He was trying to get under your skin quickly, but you weren't going to allow it.
You decided to play back. "If that means more fun, then sure they are."
The slightest hint of a genuine smile replaced the original smile he once wore, but he quickly changed his demeanor.
"Give me an example, then."
You shook your head. "I don't know, but none of rules I'm setting down for you are supposed to be broken. That'll guarantee you a kick to the curb."
He sighed, throwing his hands to his side and taking a defeated breath. "I was starting to think you were a bit exciting."
"I can be a bit deceitful at times. But I like to think of myself as a fun individual." You could feel a smile forming on your mouth, one that tightened at your cheeks. But with a tug on the inside of your lip, you were able to break it.
He folded his arms. "We'll venture your thrillingness another time. Should go ahead and give me those rules that seem to be so important to you."
"I'm sure you have some things you want me to be aware of, right? Boundaries that you don't want crossed - stuff like that." You began walking out of the bedroom.
He followed behind with minimal space between you. "I didn't have the time to think of some. Maybe I'll write some down and post them on the fridge." He gave you a shrug.
You stopped your movements once you hit the kitchen, turning around and noticing the proximity between the both of you.
You looked to him. "Whatever helps you sleep at night, alright? Now, let's start. So-."
He cut you off. "How many rules are there? Like, are they ones that are common sense or ones that would make me want to move out already?"
"If you'd let me talk and stop being impatient, then you'll figure it out."
For a moment, you two stood there, staring each other down like a faceoff. Who would break first? Who would accept defeat? Tension rose in the room, building up a small barrier between yours and his's bodies that felt like it was meant to be broken. You didn't want to leave the wall there between you two, as you began to feel trapped with annoyance.
You decided to restate yourself, calmly. "Some of them are pretty basic rules, like don't be late on rent and bills, make sure you're giving me your half and not cutting me short. Don't have anyone over unless you tell me, just because it's the right thing to do. I don't want anyone showing up when I'm indecent or the place is a mess."
"Do you not clean your apartment often?" He furrowed his brows.
You placed your hand on your forehead. "I do, Jake, it's just a circumstantial issue. Sometimes I don't have free time on my hands to keep the place tidy because I work so often, and I come home exhausted every night. And that leads me to my next rule: Keep your space tidy, and since you're living here, clean up around a bit if you make a mess. That's common sense, right?"
He nodded slowly. "Yeah, that makes sense. What else?"
You trailed your body around the island, while Jake stood center in the room. "Don't crank your amp up all the way when I'm home. Maybe even keep it down a bit while I'm out just in case of noise complaints. I'm fine with you playing, practicing, all of that. Just try and be mindful of others."
He cocked his head to the side slightly with a grin. "Maybe you should invest in a pair of earplugs."
"I'll have you know I already have a pair, but I'd prefer not to use them all the time. This is my place just as much as it is yours now. Clear?"
"Crystal." He stated plainly. "Anything else?"
You began talking about different rules that the landlord had set already, saying that he had to follow them for obvious reasons. You also told him if you had any other rules, you'd let him know. But for now, you had nothing else to say.
You showed him the papers he had to sign so you could hand them to your landlord, which was a small stack and could easily be finished in a few minutes. A black ink pen was set down next to the papers, and you watched intently for a few moments as he sat down, read them quickly, and signed.
He paused his motions, flicking his eyes up to you and setting them down onto the papers. "You don't have to stand there and watch me. I'm signing them, don't worry."
Your cheeks crept with a light pink shadowing over your face. "Right, sorry," you clasped your hands together, "I'll just go get ready for work."
You made your way over to your bedroom. You had almost made it down the hallway, until Jake spoke up.
"Where do you work?"
You turned on your heels to face him. "Brewology Coffee House. I'm an acting manager there."
He had his head over his shoulder towards you. "Ah, I don't think I've been. I'll have to stop by one of these days."
"I don't like the sound of that." You huffed a laugh through your nose.
"I have free will. Perhaps I'll come get some coffee tonight."
You shook your head with an eye roll. "Don't think about it. I can kick you out, you know."
He chuckled lightly. He turned his attention back to his papers, and said, "You won't. Think you're starting to like me."
"Not even remotely close." You shook your head and finally went to your bedroom to change.
