Ali and Chris exploring the giant park as if it were an adventure.🎢
I wanted to draw 8 year old Ali and 5 year old Chris in my original style. I like to draw them like this. 🥺❤️

It recently hit me that I dislike it when someone compares my character to an already existing other character, especially if I have drawn fanart. I'm not sure about other artists, but I didn't feel at all flattered when I had drawn this fanart of X character and then someone replied to my artwork 'oh, how cool, your art style reminds me of FMA'. An innocent statement and somewhat flattering, right? Well, when I asked further 'how', they replied 'because your fanart of X-character reminds me of FMA's Y-character'.
And that's the thing I realized I disliked because of this fear I've. I can honestly write I fear experiencing any artistic choices or styles that would deviate too much from the original creator's style because I am scared if someone sees my fanart, they won't be able to tell if it's supposed to be that character that I meant them to be.
Hence, when I see some fan artists drawing fanart in their unique style, I can't help but wonder how they do it. How can they draw in this unique manner that barely resembles the original one, yet you can still say in confidence 'oh, it's that character from Z-series, how neat!' Just how?
Hence, I avoid deviating too much from the original creator's style. Even though at times I want to. At times...I just want to experience different styles, but I feel like if I did... people would look at my artwork and not be able to tell it's that character. Because it would differ too much to be able to tell it's that character...

Getting Your Goat: He Should Be a "Ram" Instead...
"I said knock it off, ya jerk!!" Cio yells, "What the heck is your problem, man?!" he suddenly looks pale and his fox ears fall down, "Oh crap..."
He jumps out of the way, before Rocko rams into Leena instead.
*******
Well, here I tried to utilize the "blur" tool, instead of simply adding comic-standard movement lines. I gotta say, it really does give the feeling that Leena's supposed to be flying quickly and thus ready for a hard landing into the adjacent building's wall. Unfortunately, I had some issues with making Rocko look as good... Next time, I should probably have each character and their colors be its own layer, so I can "blur" and all without much concern to surrounding items.
Well, at least the visual effects look a bit more effective in their job, compared to simple lines being drawn across the screen: you can really feel the momentum behind Rocko's speed and collision.
Interesting fact: this would originally show Cio, instead of Claire. Specifically, he'd be lying on the ground, within the foreground, as Rocko still slams into Leena, within the background. I just figured that, one, Cio would take up too much focus/space and, two, Claire should be in EVERY story image. After all, Claire's Companions is in "1st Person" because it's supposed to be her telling you about her titular companions, so it'd make sense for her to always be present and witnessing/experiencing the illustrated events at hand.
I also hope I got the scaling right, on this one... Namely, "perspective" is the game's title here: the backdoor being far away from the kitchen entrance and fridge, Claire's 4'6" body being appropriate to a door in general, and Leena's 5'7" size and a goat's size seeming appropriate in comparison to the small wolf girl.
