A Rival’s Arrival
Part 1 | Part 2 | Part 3 | Part 4 | Part 5 | Part 6 | Part ?
Summary: You’re training when you get a surprise visit…
Characters: Techno x Reader, feat. Puffy, Dream and Foolish
Relationships: parental, platonic
Pronouns: unspecified/kept neutral
Another swing of his weapon and another easy block by you but you had to give him credit, he was quite the natural in combat.
“Not bad, next time I recommend trying to pull a fake out attack before hitting from behind.” You instruct.
“It won’t be a fake out if you know it’s coming.” Techno deadpans, you chuckle.
“I know that and you know that, but on an actual battlefield your enemy won’t know that.” You explain, he just shrugs and you continue your training. You’ve been outside sparring with Techno a lot longer then you normally would, the crisper air making for perfect conditions as it acted as a natural cooler so you didn’t have to worry about overheating. Although with the autumn weather starting you couldn’t help but feel like you were forgetting something…
“Ah!” You’re caught off guard by the sudden shove against your leg, making you stumble to the side a little before catching yourself. “Wha-hey! Dream!” You playfully glare at the giggling culprit.
“Ha! I got you right where I want you, now victory is mine!” He exclaims, charging at you with his wooden sword. You chuckle and wait for the “final strike” but the clatter of another weapon tells you otherwise, looking down to see Techno block Dream’s attack, knocking him down. Techno let’s out an angered growl, glaring daggers at Dream.
“Whoa! Hey, take it easy, it’s alright, everything’s okay.” You instantly step in, remembering how protective and aggressive piglins could get if someone hurts their family.
“But he hit you!” Techno points accusingly at a confused Dream.
“I know, I know. But I’m alright… Besides,” you give him a smirk, “it’ll take a whole lot more then a simple shove and wooden sword to take me down.” Techno still looked defensive but he does calm down enough to step away. “So, I take it you ran ahead of your mom just to say hi?” You look back to Dream as he gets off the ground.
“Ummm… no?” He looks around before pointing to the two other approaching figures. “See! She’s over there.” You let out a soft chuckle before heading over to greet Puffy.
“Hey! Puffy! Long time no see.” You greet once she’s closer.
“Hey (y/n), hope you don’t mind the sudden visit.” She greets back.
“Nah, it’s fine.” You wave it off. “I should’ve realized you’d be coming by now that autumn is setting in. How was the voyage?”
“The voyage went great, as usual.” Puffy says proudly.
“That’s awesome. Oh! And I see little Foolish isn’t so little anymore either. You’ve grown quite a bit since I last saw you.” You look down at Foolish who’s partially hiding behind Puffy’s leg. You wave at him with a smile, he waves back with a small smile of his own.
“Sensei? Who are these people?” You hear Techno ask, also gaining Puffy’s attention as she looks over at him.
“Hello, I don’t believe we’ve met. I’m Puffy, and you are?” She introduces herself, kneeling down to meet his level, Techno edges closer to you warily.
“It’s alright, she’s a friend.” You reassure. He still settles for staying closer to you, it’s almost laughable considering how defensive he was earlier with Dream. “This is Techno, I found him alone in the Nether and been caring for him since.” You explain, Puffy gives a somber look before her attention is brought to Dream calling for her.
“Mom! Mom! I made a new friend!” He says excitedly, bounding over to her.
“That’s great…” Her voice trails off on you as your attention is directed to the hybrid pulling at your leg, silently asking for you to kneel down.
“What is it?” You ask quietly.
“I am not friends with him.” Techno huffs, you chuckle softly.
“No? But you seemed to be getting along so nicely before.” You joke, he looks at you unamused making you laugh again. “I’m kidding, but trust me Dream isn’t that bad a kid, he’s a really good fighter, a little ambitious in combat but good.”
“Heh? You think he’s good? Please, I could beat him easily.” Techno waves off like it’s nothing.
“Oh?” You raise an amused eyebrow. “Well if you’re so confident, care to put it to the test?” He gives an interested look, you then stand and walk back over to Puffy. “Say, Puffy. What do you say on letting Dream have a sparring match Techno?”
“That’s a great idea! Dream really needs to practice more with others at his level.” She says with a smile and a nod, Dream seemed just as thrilled.
You lead everyone back over to your training area, which was a nice flattened area of the field you set up a few weapon stands for various weapon training. You mark the ground in certain areas to define were the sparring zone would be before grabbing some wooden swords for the boys, making sure they were equal in quality and durability before handing them over.
“Alright, we want a fair fight here, so you must use your weapons to knock your opponent over. There will be four rounds before we decide a winner.” You announce, slowly raising your hand. “On my mark…” The two ready themselves, you could practically see the fire in both their eyes, a please smirk on your face at the already budding rivalry.
“Begin!”
Am I cruel for leaving it there? Idk, maybe, but I’ll just leave the rest to your own interpretation/imagination

SBI & RodentHybrid!Reader
----------------------------------------------------------
GN!Reader, (this is my first time doing something like this-)
Rats, mice and most rodents alike are under-appreciated in my opinion and I had some SBI brainrot I could not stop.
How did they find you?
Philza had just adopted his 3 chaos sons and was not expecting to have anymore children.
Tommy was 3, Wilbur and Techno were both 10
however, one day he heard tiny squeaks during a trek in the forest.
he thought it was just a regular mouse but it was too loud to be one so he followed the source and peered in the bushes and in it was lil' ol' you
you couldn't have been more than a year old by the looks of it and you were absolutely tiny! you could fit in the palm of his hand
you were also freezing cold and there were no adults around so... guess Phil's gonna adopt another child then!
Your rat features:
I put down rodent hybrid cause' I couldn't make up my mind if you were going to be a mouse or a rat (there's a difference!) so neither can your family!
You have the cartoonishly big mouse ears (think Mickey Mouse) and also a long thin and scaly tail
You also have delicate whiskers and a itty bitty nose that has a surprisingly good sense of smell
There are small patches around your body hear and there
TOE BEANS! TOE BEANS! TOE BEANS!
Also, smol. Extremely small. You are by far the shortest in the family. Mice are really small so I think you'd grow to 1ft 6 at most
Rats have strong teeth so you also have a set of really strong buck teeth
Since Techno once talked with a piglin, and Phil's chat are literally crows, you can talk to other rodents
"I'm not like other people! I'm 1ft 6, I have the best sense of smell, I can talk to animals and I have a tail cause I'm a foocking rat baby"
Life with the SBI
it was rather difficult to adjust to the new family member because of the drastic height differences but nothing they couldn't handle
All the seats, tables ect have a little ladder carved in or have a step-ladder attached so you could climb up
Stairs and doors. They were going to be a problem. So Dadza made like a little elevator out of string, small planks of wood and pulleys so you can get up and down the floors. Each door in the house also had a small doggy door on it so you could easily enter...though one time a stray cat had gotten in and chased you around the house so the main door and the door to the backyard had to have little locks installed on the little doors too.
Once you got a bit older, Dadza realized it would've been a very tiring life for you to have to climb up every seat and every table and every shelf you want to use so he made a little hole in the wall under a table and built tiny furniture perfect size for you and helped you decorate your room
Any soft fabric in the house was a perfect napping spot for you. your family would often find you nesting in hoodies, cushions, jackets, cloaks, blankets ect. (Although once Wilbur almost sat on you when you got a little too comfortable and fell asleep on the couch)
I'd like to think whenever you were mad at one of your brothers, you'd steal their stuff (that you can carry ie Tommy's disc, Wilbur's beanie, Techno's gold) and hide it in your room or a small crevice that only you can fit in and they'd be to big to fit in and reach their stuff.
You would also take advantage of your size and hide in places impossible for your family to hide in but not for you! You were always the hide and seek champion and could evesdrop on your brothers from inside the walls or inside a chest.
Midnight snacks. Just all the snacks. Rats can fit through any space they can get their heads into and some can chew through metal so there was nothing stopping your hungry tummy. Phil was even considering enchanting the pantry to prevent you from theiving all the snacks (you'd share with your brothers though, Phil was just miffed you ate all the snacks before dinner and could get ill)
When you guys were going out and you couldn't keep up, you'd just ride in one of their bags. You were extremely light and it was hard to keep up with their long legs so this was a perfect solution (you 100% fell asleep in a bag once and the family almost flipped the house upside down looking for you)
Your relationship with Dadza
We already mentioned him earlier but he loves you very much
Phil was a lot more nervous to take care of you cause he'd never raised a child this small before
He was very hesitant to let your brothers hold you when you were a baby because you were just so small and fragile-
When you were little and went out with him, you always had to be on him or holding his hand. Sitting on his hat, his shoulder, riding in his bag, him carrying you, he didn't mind but you couldn't be let out of sight especially in large crowds or tall grass.
He always had at least one of his crows keep an eye on you when you went outside to play just in case anything goes wrong
He still worries about you a lot but knows that at least you can defend yourself now.
Your relationship with Wilbur
he was your big brother and you both love each other a lot
it took some time getting used to you but the moment he saw such a tiny baby, he just went 'SMOL CHILD I WILL PROTECT YOU'
in the early days, when Philza couldn't take care of you, he'd hand you to Wilbur who'd spend time with you and Tommy. Be it going to town, making a new song, going to meet Sally, he was mostly glad to bring his little siblings along
While he cared for you a lot, he still played tricks on you sometimes like when he told you that birds eat mice and you just became terrified of Phil and his crows for a good week XD
He was much more relaxed when it came to your safety (not that he'd let you go into the woods alone, like just be less protective than dadza) though he would just be wary when you guys are with a lot of people so he'd prefer it if you were riding on his beanie. He'd get weird stares but as long as you're safe, he didn't care
when composing songs and you're with him, he'd sing the lyrics and you'd sometimes squeak them back in your high-pitched voice and he would either laugh or die from cuteness...or both
rats also generally have better hearing than humans so when he was composing a song, he'd ask for your opinion to see if it was good or not
Your relationship with Techno
when you were first welcomed into the family, he didn't know what to do-
don't get me wrong he got the same 'PROTECT DA CHILD' feeling as Wilbur and even the voices told him to 'PROTEC SMOL THING' when he got them later on
it's just that you were so small that he was afraid he'd hurt you he was never as gentle as his twin or his dad and Wilbur seemed to like you so he figured he'd him take care of you like Tommy
though one day, you were out in the garden. Techno was training, Phil was in the house, Wilbur and Tommy were with friends. A stray zombie found its way to your home and it started to attack you.
you were too small to get away quick enough and tripped but just as the zombie was about to hurt you any more, Techno shot an arrow through that f*cker's head he then realized you were too weak to defend yourself so decided to train you to be stronger
Wilbur was unsure about letting you wield a sword but Techno insisted it was for the best. Eventually, Tommy bugged him enough to train him too.
it took a while but after enough time and hard work, you were able to wield a few light weight weapons and were able to hold your own at pvp by quickly darting and dodging around your opponent.
when you weren't training, Techno read you and Tommy greek mythology. Tommy would sit in his lap and you would rest on his head (if he felt like it, he'd let you two braid his hair)
like the rest of the SBI, he gave you a piece of golden jewelry, for you it was a small earing
Your relationship with Tommy
I'll be honest: Tommy didn't really like you at first
He was glad to not be the youngest but he didn't realize that he'd get less attention due to you being a baby
they still loved him of course, but Tommy couldn't help but feel jealous when Dadza helped you make your own room or when Wilbur took you on their trips to town or when you'd always be carried by Wil or dad or when Techno started training you before him ect
he'd always try to ignore you or glare angrily and naturally, you reciprocated the behaviour and thus you two always had a sort of rivalry
he'd call you names, yank your ears, tail or whiskers and in turn, you'd call him names, steal his stuff and sometimes bit him if he pulled too hard
But then, one day:
You were 10 and sitting by yourself on the swings in the park. Barely anyone else was there and you were doing your own thing. It was one of the rare opportunities when you could be alone. I mean, you did love your family and all but it was nice to have some alone time too. You were minding your own business when suddenly:
"Hey are you a doll?"
A little kid had just picked you up by your waist and you were frankly very startled. You started wiggling, trying to get out of the kid's grasp but it was too tight.
"You're a very weird doll"
The kid held you tighter and you squealed out for help.
"I'm not a doll! Let me go!!"
The child gasps "A talking doll! Mama, mama! Look, a talking doll! Can I keep it please?" they called their mother over
A woman strides over and looked down while you were trying to get out of there. She gasps in horror and shrieks
"A RAT! A RAT! THROW IT AWAY AT ONCE BILLY! IT HAS THE PLAGUE! GET IT AWAY!!"
She then snatched you out of her child's sticky hands and threw you at full force into the mud.
"GET BACK YOU VERMIN! GET AWAY! RETURN TO THE MURKY SWAMP WHERE YOU CAME FROM!" She screeched while you were trying to process what just happened and collect yourself.
All of a sudden, you heard a very angry yet familiar voice from the bushes
"OI! NO ONE GETS TO PUSH MY SIBLINGS INTO THE MUD BUT ME!!"
He then pounced and shoved the prick and her brat into the mud.
"AHHHH YOU INSOLENT BRAT! HOW DARE YOU!"
Without warning, she grabbed Tommy and tried to trip him over him but before she could, you sneaked up behind her and bit down hard on one of her legs. Tommy then grabbed you and booked it out of there with the screeches of the witch behind you.
Once you two made it back home, you started to clean yourself up when Tommy handed a towel to you. He said nothing and looked away but the gesture was all it needed. The both of you were silent but a mutual care about each other started to grow that day.
it took a while but you two soon became thick as thieves
he even introduced you to Tubbo later on!
You and Tubbo relate to each other on the fact that you were both often underestimated and your shorter heights compared to everyone else.
Life in the smp
you decided to follow Wilbur and Tommy when the left home and promised to write to your dad and older brother
by now, you were as tall as you could be and could defend yourself reasonably well
you, Tommy and Tubbo absolutely cause chaos together. I mean the rat, the racoon and the goat? Who makes better thieves than that?
You definetely participated in the disc wars, stealing Tommy's discs back from Dream whenever you could
During the L'Manberg era, you decided to join your brothers' country and became good friends with the rest of the L'Manberg members. You had a little uniform and everything, you helped to plant flowers and decorate around the country since it was a bit hard to place down blocks.
L'Manberg really felt like a second home and a second family for you even with the constant battles, you still had each other and that was enough.
Then you and everyone else lost your first lives during Eret's betrayal and Tommy had to give up his discs (you wanted to steal them back but Tommy told you that it was ok and they'd find another way) but hey, at least you guys were independent now...right?
Then the elections happened. You were sure your brothers would win until the votes were revealed. They were banned from the country and you desperately scurried after them, trying not to get trampled in the angry mob
You helped them set up Pogtopia and that's when Wilbur decided to give you a job.
With all things considered, you were arguably one of the best spies on the server: You were tiny and hard to spot, you can hide in places no one would think to look, you were fast, agile and hard to catch, you have a far more superior sense of hearing and smelling and can therefore sense if anyone's coming much easier, and you can communicate with rodents; one of the most common and unsuspecting animals.
Therefore, Wilbur gave you and Tubbo the job of spying on Schlatt and Manberg. Tubbo would pretend to be on their side and you would eavesdrop from the shadows.
You should've been more wary of Wil's behaviour, he looked like he was loosing it but still wanting to help your brother, you accepted the job and spied on Manberg, giving Pogtopia info when you could.
Techno came to help and you thought that it would be alright from now on...then the red festival happened. Tubbo gave his speech while you watched from behind the curtains. Then he was boxed up and you could only watch in horror as Techno walked to the stage to execute your best friend.
You thought it couldn't get any worse when someone grabbed you from behind and took you to the stage. JSchlatt held you by the neck and learned that you were the spy sneaking info all along. And before you knew it, he squeezed your throat and you died from suffocation on stage.
Wilbur couldn't look you in the eyes after that and you were told that Techno shot a firework at Schlatt cause 'it wasn't part of the deal'
After the final battle, you couldn't be happier. You were celebrating with all your friends and looking for Wilbur before the ground shook and everything exploded.
You lost half your tail and parts of your left ear that day. But that loss couldn't compare to the loss of your brother, dead in your father's arms
You tried your best to return to normal and just when you started to recover, Tommy was exiled. You followed him to Logstedshire and tried to stand up for him against Dream but he was too strong.
Tommy convinced you to leave him and that he'd be ok and you naively believed him.
When Techno took him in, you followed him and couldn't be happier; your family was back together!...well most of them.
Then doomsday happened. Techno didn't tell you his plans and you were in shock as to why he would blow up L'Manberg now.
He then told you about the execution. That while you were with Tommy in exile, he was going to be executed by the butcher army. That news shook you to the core but you couldn't think straight with your second home being blown to smitherines again.
Afterwards, you decided to take a break from society and ran away to live by yourself in a small home you built in the woods for some time to recover.
Tommy would visit sometimes and told you about the hotel he was building with Sam Nook, Tubbo visited when he could, he even brought Ranboo with him once and told you about their son Michael. Philza visited once, he told you that Techno was doing alright but just hasn't found the time to visit. You didn't answer when he knocked on the door.
(Sorry if the end sounds rushed, its because it is. I just didn't know what to do about the rest of the extensive lore but let me know if you'd like more of these x reader stuff, only platonic though. Anyways, until next time my lovely marshiemellows!)

Woes of An Immortal
(C!Technoblade x Reader)
Tumblr media
Hello everyone! Thank you all so much for 3k followers and I'm sorry this post came a little late! The vote to win was a one-shot with you all guessed it Technoblade. Enjoy the fluff, smut, and angst that comes with this fic.
As always I love you all and if you have fanart send it my way!
Also if you enjoyed send me a Coffee: Thanks Souls
~~~
When Technoblade became immortal his father had told him of the woes that came with it, immortality was a curse, not a blessing. Technoblade would be forced to watch his loved ones and old friends die while he remained young forever. It wasn’t something easy to live with, the guilt he would experience would never truly go away. The curse came with what his father called the voices, they yearned for blood and emphasized he needed a strong will and mind to ignore them. At the time Technoblade didn’t care was young and naive only looking for the power that came with the idea of never dying. He believed he never would fall in love, who would love a piglin hybrid, he was antisocial and okay with living all on his own for eternity. He was okay with never-dying until he met you.
You were a simple girl in a village he was visiting, you resembled a greek goddess in the old history books his father had gifted him when he inherited immortality. He wasn’t one to fall in love simply based on looks, but it helped. You were in the town center children gathered around your legs as you read them stories. He had just finished tying up Carl when he noticed you were packing up to leave, he kept his eyes trained on you until he saw you were walking in his direction. Technoblade looked away immediately face burning from embarrassment, in his one hundred years of life this was the first time he felt butterflies in his stomach. He heard a soft hum behind him and there you were, god you couldn’t have been older than twenty, a baby compared to him.
“Are you new here?”
The question was innocent and held no ill intent, his tongue felt heavy as he nodded. You smiled warmly reaching your hand out to scratch under Carl’s chin, he tensed worried the voices would scream at him for you to stop. They were rather protective of his horse but to his surprise they were silent, he watched you pull a carrot from your bag, and Carl whinnied munching on the snack happily.
“Do you have a place to stay? My father runs an inn.”
“I’m here with my father I don’t know his plans. But thank you miss,”
“No problem. Well if he’s unsure, it’s on the corner just over there. I’ll even give you half-price rooms,” You batted your eyelashes at him, “I hope to see you before you leave.” He watched you wave your hand heading off towards the inn, he felt a large hand grip his shoulder. He glanced up at his father, he was a bit taller than Techno but looked the same age as he did when Technoblade was born. Scars littered his face, and his scruff had turned into a beard over the years. His one tusk was chipped and his red eyes were dull from years of exhaustion.
“Who was that?” His father’s voice was more profound than his own and Technoblade huffed slightly,
“Just some women,” Technoblade mumbled, his father watched his expression, raising his eyebrow.
“That’s the innkeeper’s daughter. (Y/n) I think her name is, young and pretty.”
“Don’t try it old man.” Technoblade scoffed shoving his father’s hand off his shoulder, “She’s way too young for you. For either of us.”
“Either of us you say? You mean you would’ve tried?”
Technoblade stopped dead in his tracks. Spinning on his heels, he turned to face his father, “Don’t.”
“Don’t what? She’s a pretty little thing.” His father made a womanly shaped figure with his hands, wiggling his eyebrows cheekily. “The children loved her,”
“Dad please.”
“You’re almost 25 Techno-”
“Only by human standards.”
“You’ve never dated a girl.”
“Dad-”
“Or guy!” Techno huffed clicking his tongue in distaste eyeing his father wearily and his father only chuckled in response. “Well, you’ll have a lot of time with her cause we’re staying with her and her old man.” Techno grunted pinching the bridge of his nose between his glasses, “It’s just until we make enough money to move to the next town.”
“Fine. But I don’t want you playing matchmaker or whatever the hell you plan on doing.”
“My lips are sealed, no matchmaking from your old man.”
But Techno knew the look in his eye, he’d seen it a thousand times before mischievousness and joy that Technoblade never inherited. He knew this was going to be a long trip if his father continued to act like a child. He only clapped Techno on the back and led him into the inn, he was surprised to see you sitting at the front desk with a notebook in front of you. You seemed to be drawing something, or maybe it was writing something he couldn’t tell. A soft bell rang as they stepped inside and you turned to greet them, he noticed a small flicker of pride in your eyes as you stared at him specifically. His eye twitched feeling frustration bubble up in his gut, you had no right to look at him like that like you’ve won some competition. His dad nudged him forward a smirk playing on his lips and Techno huffed “We’ve come to hopefully take you up on your offer from earlier. If it still stands.”
“Course it does. My father’s out at the moment but I can set you up.” You motioned for them to make their way over, Techno’s father went first and introduced himself,
“Orpheus. Techno’s father at your service I can cover the stay for both of us and we’ll have separate rooms please.”
“Father? Why you don’t look any older than he does! What’s your secret? My father's gonna kill you when he sees how young you look!”
Technoblade groaned as his dad laughed with what seemed to be pride, “Why thank you pretty lady that means a great deal. Techno takes after me you know,”
“Oh, I can tell.” You mused, “you’re both very handsome.”
Technoblade blushed, he knew he was blushing because he felt his cheeks and the tips of his ears burn hot with embarrassment. He shot his father a frustrated glare, “Ignore him. He’s an ass.”
“I don’t find him to be that much of an ass.” You laughed grabbing two pairs of keys from behind the desk before walking out from behind it. “Surprisingly I’ve dealt with worse customers, follow me to your rooms.” Both men followed after you, Orpheus headed into the room that was assigned to him bidding you and Technoblade a goodnight. Technoblade noticed you still standing beside him and cleared his throat awkwardly,
“Uh…thanks for the rooms…”
“Seriously it’s not a problem at all.” You hummed giving your head a cute tilt to the side, “can I ask you something?”
“Er…sure?”
“You looking for a stepmom?”
“HEH?” He knew his entire face was bright red and he felt jealousy bubble up in his gut unwillingly. You burst into hysterical laughter at his reaction and that only caused his face to burn hotter,
“I’m messing with you oh gosh! I didn’t know you’d be so easy to tease.” You smiled covering your leftover giggles with your hand. “You’re much more my type,”
“You’re bold…” He grunted nose scrunching in displeasure, although he didn’t feel that displeased with your comments.
“So I’ve been told, I’ve also been told it’s charming.”
“Whoever told you that is lying to you.”
You tossed your head back and laughed, shoulders bouncing up to your ears eyes filled with pure delight, “Sleep well Technoblade, and have pleasant dreams.” Technobalde watched with careful eyes as you headed off down the hall, he gave a small chuff in your direction. However he couldn’t help but watch your hips and ass sway as you disappeared from his view, he flushed turning away from your figure. God, every minute that passed Techno was turning more and more into his pervert of a father.
Technoblade awoke with a start, pupils shrinking as the smell of smoke filled his nostrils. There were terrified screams coming from outside the inn and a distinct sound of someone pounding on his bedroom door. “Technoblade! Open up there’s a raid outside in the village, get your sword and get up now!”
Technoblade was out of the bed like a shot, he didn’t have any time to put on armor, he just slid on his briefs and grabbed his sword storming out the door. “Dad!”
“What kid?” He turned to face Techno, his hair spread out all over the place eyes blazing red ready for the bloodbath. The words stay safe were on the tip of his tongue but instead, he said,
“Where’s the (Y/n)?”
“Somewhere in the fray. Find her and keep her safe.”
Those were the words Technoblade needed to hear before he burst into action. As soon as he demolished the front of the inn the screams were only getting louder and more frantic. Blood littered the streets and the doors of the village and Techno felt his vision narrowing desperately searching for you and you only. He heard another shout and managed to block an incoming attack from a pillager the stopped his ax’s swing halfway with the blade of his sword before running the man through. Blood splattered his chest and face as he pulled the blade out and with a sickening thud, the man fell to the ground. “Mama help!” The voice of a young girl shrieked he turned and saw her cornered by the giant creature known as a Ravager. Before Technoblade moved a blur flew passed him sending loose locks of hair across his face, the smell of strawberries and cedar entered his nostrils and the only thing on his mind was you. He watched as you unceremoniously threw a rock at the beast, it huffed steam pouring out of its nose.
“Why don’t you pick on someone your own size!” Your voice was like a knife as it cut through the pandemonium around you, the creature turned to face you and it gave the girl time to run away in the direction of her family. It stomped its hoof against the ground its voice was a mix of many different animal snarls and you reeled back, Techno saw the panic settling across your face. As soon as Technoblade moved towards you the beast began to charge, your body locked up in panic and fear as a response. Luckily Techno reached you before the monster did and curbed its attack with a swift slice across the side of its face. The Ravager screamed bloody murder turning its sights on Technoblade officially, Technoblade turned to you, his eyes a blazing red,
“Run.”
His voice didn’t even sound like his in his own ears, it was the first time he heard them so mad, the voices all shouting to kill the creature in front of him.
“Come back to me.” You stated sternly grabbing him by the pants and pressing a kiss to his lips, it was quick and he almost couldn’t process it with everything going on around him. You were gone from his body like smoke in the wind, and Technoblade could solely focus on the monster who was in front of him.
“Alright you freak” he grinned flashing his teeth, “Bring it on.”
~~~
After that the two of you were joined at the hip, Technoblade and his father saved the village and were always welcome there anytime they happened to be in this direction. The village also said they could get any supplies they wanted for an amazing discount, which they both took advantage of without argument. Techno more often than not found himself not going on hunts with his father unless it was necessary and instead spent most of his time by your side. He helped you in the inn, even though he was less than personable to many patrons trying to get rooms he did have amazing stories to keep the patrons who frequented the bar on the edge of their seats. He also had a great habit of convincing you to slack off from your duties leaving most of it to your father, who could only bite his tongue because his daughter had caught the eye of the village hero.
“Techno not right now…”
“Are you not on your break?”
“I am but-”
“Then come on no one’s gonna know.” He mused pulling you close by the hips leg expertly slotting in between them making you shiver against his thigh. “Have a little faith in my ability to please you,” He purred nipping and kissing along the column of your neck.
‘Need. need. Need. want. Want. want.’ Now that the two of you were offical the voices had started referring to you as Techno’s and he was just realived they all could agree on something for once.
“Fine…you horny bastard. But you only have until my breaks over!”
“I can make that work,” He pulled you into the storage closet somehow being able to keep his lips interlocked with your own. You moaned sofly against his lips as his hands found your butt giving it a squeeze before lifting you up against the wall. Your legs instinctively went around his waist only serving to pull him closer to your flushed body, your breathing hitched as his tongue entered your mouth only briefly battling for dominance. You let Techno take over rather quickly his one hand began sliding up your waist and landing on the swell of your breast giving it a tight squeeze. He felt you moan at the sensation against his lips and he pulled away from you a string of saliva connecting the both of you, you whimpered and began to unbuckle his pants, he hoisted you a little higher so he could shimmy them down his waist. You purred sofly leaning forward to kitten nip and lick at his neck, he grunted feeling your legs tighten around him, he thanked the gods that you mostly wore skirts and dresses cause all he had to do was hike up the dress to your hips. “Hm?” He panted his hand poking and prodding at your entrance, “You’re already so wet for me? I barely touched you.” He snickered as his fingers disappeared into your folds you let out a needy groan head tossing back against the wall with a soft thud.
“Hm…Techno more…” You panted pupils blown wide and hazy, “Add another so I can take you…”
“Yes ma’am.” He purred adding another finger and curling it against the tight spongy-ness of your core. You moaned his name breath hitching in between the moans and he’s never felt more turned on in his life. “Yeah? You like that?” You only groaned louder your walls fluttering rythmically and tight around his fingers.
“I’m close.” You whimpered panting loudly,
“You ready?”
“Hmhm.” He watched with glee as you bobbed your head eagerly, as soon as he got confirmation he sheathed himself inside your folds. You both moaned, his head fell onto your shoulder as he panted against your wet skin.
“God, you feel so good baby…so tight.” He snapped his hips and your moans began to echo off the walls of the room. “It’s like your pretty little pussy was made by the gods just to take me, so good.” Techno continued to growl in your ear nipping and biting at the skin there as he sang praises to you like a mantra. “S-shit-” His eyes shot wide open taking you full force as you began to clench and spasm around him, you shouted his name as you came and he wasn’t that far behind. He stayed inside you for a moment or two longer before you kissed the side of his head,
“Gotta get back to work…I’m ruined…”
“Hm good. You’ll think of me all shift,” He mused setting you on the ground watching your mixed fluids run down your legs before you let the dress fall covering up the mess successfully.
“You’re an ass.” You grumbled opening the door to the broom closet with a huff,
“You love me.” He spoke without really thinking, it was the first time he ever said it to anyone let alone you, you looked back over at him with surprise. He winced slightly, “er…sorry-” You cut him off with a kiss,
“I love you too…” You flushed slyly before scampering off back to your job at the inn he felt his heart clench.
You really were just too adorable.
~~~
A letter arrived on his desk by a crow, Techno always kept the window of his study open he liked the fresh air to filter through his stuffy office. The crow let out a caw jumping around a little as Techno took the letter from his leg. He recognized it as one of Phil’s crows almost immediately and tore the letter open with his nails, he grunted a little feeling weight on his leg. He looked down to see his daughter clinging to his pant leg, all smiles and a toothy grin. “Now just what do you think you’re doing nugget?” He mused picking her up by the back of her shirt, she giggled loudly as he plopped her in his lap. Holly had your hair and face shape but she was gifted with Technoblade’s red and black eyes as well as her pointed ears.
“Mama wanted me to come to get you! She said it’s almost time for dinner,” she hummed nuzzling into his chest, his face softening considerably.
“Tell her I’ll be in, in a minute alright? I just have some last-minute work to do, tell her your Uncle Phil sent a letter.”
“Okay, Papa. Love you!”
“Love you to nugget.” He hummed watching as she squirmed off his lap and disappeared through the door. Techno released a breath he wasn’t even aware he was holding in as he unfolded the letter, his eyes scanned over the ink and he felt his jaw tensing at every word. Phil was practically begging for Techno to head North to help his eldest son Wilbur, apparently the man had gotten himself kicked out of his own country by a dictator. Wilbur and his young companion seek to overthrow this new form of government and need Technoblade's help. A favor for an old friend. His past accomplishments spread that far, he was always known to be calculated, cold and ruthless, but he was younger than. He didn’t have anything to live for, no weaknesses, now, however…he looked up to see you standing in the doorway brow creased in stress.
Even worried you still looked ethereal to him, motherhood and age had taken to you kindly. So far your mortal body had barely any grey hairs and you were still as agile and lively as you were when you first met him all those years ago. “Holly said it was Phil?”
“I need to leave by tomorrow.” He hated the way his voice shook, he had to clear his throat before continuing, “He’s cashing in a favor…”
“Then Holly and I will come with you, we’ll pack up our things and-”
“No. No, you can’t come.” Technoblade stood from his desk taking your hands in his own, they were always so small. He cradled them gently as a deep frown settled across your lips, “It’s going to be a revolution. If you and Holly get wrapped up in it who knows what you’ll be used for it’s too dangerous.” He kissed the top of your head in hopes to soothe you, he could smell your anxiety and could practically hear your thoughts spinning. “It won’t be too long…I promise to get you as soon as it’s safe and I’ll send crows to you every single moment I get. You…probably shouldn’t send any back though…in case they’re intercepted.”
“Techno, what if we lose you and I never know? What if something happens here? I can’t lose you not to something like this, just because you’re immortal doesn’t mean you can’t be killed.”
“Sweet Thing.” He tutted a smirk resting on his features, “Technoblade never dies remember?”
“You’re such an ass.”
“Yeah but I’m your ass.” He snickered capturing your lips in a kiss, and he felt heat like an ignition curl in his gut. His hands reached around to squeeze your ass and you let out the cutest squeal,
“Techno not now! Holly’s waiting for us for dinner!” You scolded hitting him lightly on his broad chest, he chuckled softly watching your cheeks puff in frustration.
“Hm…not now,” He mused trailing kisses down your jaw and onto your neck, he felt you shiver beneath his hand. “But tonight. I won’t get to taste you in lord knows how many weeks after today, you’re all mine once Holly is put to sleep.” He could smell the arousal coming off of you in waves and he smirked against your neck, “Yeah sweet thing? Sound good?”
“Yes…” You whispered quietly face as red as blood,
“Good girl.”
When morning came you didn’t want to let Techno out of bed, “Princess I need to go.” He sighed as you buried your face deeper into his chest, you were still stark naked, body covered in bruises and bite marks for last night's escapades.
“Just stay here with us…”
“I wish I could. I need to say goodbye to Holly, she was devastated when we told her.”
“You are her favorite.”
“I am not.” Technoblade huffed although a bit of pride swirled in his chest, he caught you giving him a look. “Maybe a little, but she’s a daddy’s girl I couldn’t ask for anything better!”
“Yeah…yeah. I love you.”
“I love you too.” He smiled sadly brushing hair away from your face, “I’ll write every day.”
“Swear?”
“I swear.” Technoblade noticed the furrow in your brow wouldn't disappear and he placed his large hand on your cheek. “What’s wrong…other than me leaving that is.”
“Depending on when you return I’m not…I won’t look the same. I’ll be older…What if you don’t recognize me?”
“Even if I’m gone for years I’ll always recognize you. You’re my wife it’s not your beauty that wormed its way into my heart it was your personality. I told you when we got married that even though I’m immortal you’ll always have my soul until the day you die.” He kissed your forehead softly, “Plus I love me an older woman.” “Okay time to leave.” You huffed and he chuckled fondly peppering your face in light kisses, “Send me a letter as soon as you can.”
“Of course. Love you.”
“Love you too.”
~~~
Trust was always something Technoblade valued, he’s been away from his wife and daughter for years now. Only sending letters and never getting anything in return was slowly killing him, however, he finally began to believe he was safe on the far outskirts of what was once known as L’manburg. His execution came and went and he showed those who were after him that he was never to be trifled with nor was anything he held dear. He felt like it was finally safe for you and Holly to be by his side forever, the only problem was Tommy. This kid was now living with him and Technoblade was beginning to see him as an apprentice, he had always emphasized how important trust was with the boy. He showed him his Wither Skull bunker and that seemed to get the point across and Tommy was much more forthcoming with the hybrid.
“Tommy pack your stuff we’re going on an adventure, I got one more secret to show you.”
“Oh fuck yeah!” Tommy seemed more excited about the idea of an adventure than whatever the secret Techno had. “When are we leaving? It's been so boring here lately! All the training has been b-o-r-i-n-g!” He punctuated by throwing an arm around Technoblade’s shoulders, the hybrid shoved him off with a huff.
“Sorry for wanting you to be able to protect yourself.”
“Sorry for wanting you to be able to protect yourself.” Tommy mimicked wiggling his fingers,
“You know maybe I won’t take you with me-”
“Big man! Big man come on I was kidding! Don’t be like that!”
“We’re leaving at dawn. You’re in charge of packing the food and water for yourself understand? I’ll let you borrow one of my horses.”
“Carl?”
“Absolutely not.”
The morning rolled around and it was Tommy who was up and awake first, on occasion Tommy reminded him of Holly, even if it has been a few years since he saw his daughter. They both had the same energy at times and maybe that’s why Techno always had an odd sort of soft spot for the blonde boy. Technoblade got both of their horses set up and put the saddlebags on making sure to fill it with enough rations for the both of them because knowing Tommy he probably wouldn’t listen to Technoblade’s instructions. Tommy was beside him with his turtle shell helmet on top of his head and the ax of peace was strapped securely to his back. They set off due South, every so often Technoblade would look at the sky to make sure they were going in the proper direction. Even though he hadn’t been to your village in years he still knew the way there like the back of his hand.
After all, Technoblade never forgot a place that held such meaning.
It took them about a full day to get there, the moon was rising in the sky as they approached the village. Tommy’s face was set into a frown his eyebrows raised practically into his forehead, “So…is this a pit stop for the night or?”
“Nah this is it.”
“Er…I hate to break it to you but this is just like any old village? What’s so special about a dumb village? They got like epic trades or some shit?” Techno rolled his eyes hopping off Carl and tying him safely to a fence post and motioned for Tommy to do the same, his young companion did the same with a little trepidation.
“Come on I’ll show you,” Technoblade began to walk through the rows of houses the villagers who were awake seemed to stop and grin at the very sight of the hybrid. Hushed whispers began to filter through Tommy’s ears and he subconsciously pressed himself closer to Techno,
‘Is that Techno?’
‘No way he hasn’t aged a day!’
‘Someone tell (y/n)!’
Tommy wasn’t sure who this ‘(y/n)’ person was but ran into Technoblade’s back as he suddenly stopped short. They were standing in front of a cottage, beautiful vines wrapped around the wood and it seemed like wisteria were growing. You always loved to garden and the house looked beautiful, even more, beautiful than when he left it. The door swung open and before them was a young, teenage girl her (h/c) hair was pulled into two twin braids little tusks poked out from her bottom lip. Her eyes seemed to swell up with tears a pout settled on her face, Tommy looked between the girl and Techno and his stomach flipped the resemblance was uncanny.
“Hey Nugget…” The girl made a noise launching herself at Technoblade, Tommy moved quickly to grab his sword but paused seeing Technoblade wrap his arm tightly around the girl. She was sobbing and Technoblade kissed all over the side of her head, looking at her more gently than he’s ever looked eat everyone. “I missed you…”
“I missed you too dad…”
Tommy blanched, “Did she just say, dad?! Techno man what the fu-”
Techno didn’t seem to be listening to Tommy because an older woman appeared in the doorway, the late thirties or early forties at most, her hair was speckled with grey but she was still beautiful. Her eyes were as wide as saucers an apron was tied around her waist, “Technoblade?”
“Princess!” Techno let out an almost wet laugh charging to the door and wrapping you in his arms. Your scent was the same cedar and strawberries he almost cried smelling it on your skin, you were just as beautiful as he remembered you being. “I’m home…” Now she did begin to cry, weep openly in fact, she pulled away smashing her lips against Techno’s who gave a soft groan of pleasure. How he missed the feeling of your lips on his own, he wanted to sweep you off your feet and kiss you senseless but his daughter and friend were watching. He rested his forehead against your own, he Tommy was cursing like a disgusted sailor behind him but he didn’t care, he only cared about your voice.
“Safe? Are we finally safe?”
“Yes, sweetpea. We are safe.” Technoblade whispered softly before pulling away completely, “Tommy come here.” Techno waved the boy over, he hesitantly walked towards the two aware of the teenager following behind him. “Tommy this is my wife (Y/n) and our daughter Holly,” He introduced and Tommy’s jaw went slack, “Sweetpea this is Tommy, my apprentice.”
“You have a wife and you never told me! A wife! Am I the only one without a wife!” He practically shrieked, “And you have a kid? What the fuck Technoblade! How?! Why?” Tommy looked at you in awe, “this one really? What the living fuck! Who else knows about this!”
“Just Phil and now you.”
That seemed to stun the blonde into silence, “Only me and Phil?”
“Phil and I.” Holly corrected with a cute twitch of her ears, Tommy glared at her out of the corner of his eyes.
“Holly be polite.” You scolded softly opening your arms and wrapping Tommy in a hug, he made a sound of stress blinking a few times, “Welcome to the family Tommy.” He grew stiff in your hold before letting out a shaky breath and hugging you back in return, he held on probably a little longer than necessary.
“Thank you…” He whispered against your neck before pulling away with a cough, “It’s nice to meet you wife and child of Technoblade.”
“The pleasure is ours, please come in I just finished making dinner. There’s more than enough to go around, I never could break the habit of cooking for three.” You laughed softly feeling Technoblade’s hand on your back grounding you to the moment, “Do you like steak?”
It took Tommy a moment to register she was talking to him, “Er yeah. Sounds good to me, I’m not one to complain about free food.”
“Potatoes just the way you like it too Techno.”
“You’re such a saint,” He breathed leading you through the door and everyone else followed behind the husband and wife duo. Tommy looked around the small cottage taking in everything that involved Technoblade in his earlier years, before L’manburg before the war. He fell back and watched as Holly took her seat at the table, and Techno sat beside her it’s when he could really take in the resemblance between the self-proclaimed blood god and his daughter. You were cooking on the stove smiling to yourself, he still couldn’t believe he was hiding an entirely new life and one that was so domestic. “Tommy. Take a seat. You look like you’re going to shit your pants.”
“Language.” Holly hummed and Techno let out a disgruntled ‘heh’ in response to his own daughter's scolding. Tommy snickered sitting on the other side of Technoblade turning to you,
“So I have to ask how good is Techno in bed?”
“Tommy!” Technoblade snarled face glowing red, you only laughed in response to his question,
“You’re a troublemaker aren’t you?” You mused setting dinner down in front of him, and Tommy scoffed
“Nah I’m a basically a saint lady. Don’t I just radiate angelic innocence?”
“You radiate something all right,” Techno grunted, and this time it was Holly who snickered clearly enjoying the bickering.
After dinner, you helped Tommy set himself up in the guest room, which he was very much grateful for, loudly declaring that you two love birds and keeping the volume down before disappearing. Techno’s arms immediately snaked around your waist squeezing you tightly, lips and trailing down your neck tenderly. He felt your neck vibrate as you let out a pleased and breathless hum, “Bed?”
“Absolutely.”
Once the two of you were secure and safe inside the room Technoblade allowed himself to finally fully relax in the presence of his once own home. He glanced over at you and felt himself smiling, mostly due to the fact that you haven’t stopped smiling since he arrived back here. “Come here, Sweet Thing.” He opened his arms and you fell into them, “We’ve both had quite the adventure huh?”
“Shut up and hold me…”
He chuckled running his hands through your hair, “It looks good all salt and peppery I like it.” You pulled away to glare up at him, he noticed the wrinkles by your eyes and lips and felt his heart swell with adoration. “What? I do you’re aging like a fine wine. I love it age looks good on you. Just like pregnancy did- Ow don’t hit me!”
“You’re just as horny as when I left. Age didn’t do you well it seems, you didn’t mature at all.” You scoffed but your voice was light and airy, showing no real malice and Techno’s grin only widened.
“I’d argue I’m hornier because we’ve both had quite the dry spell, a few years now right?” He teased and he watched you flush pink. His hands were already on your ass giving it a playful squeeze, “unless, of course, you’ve been a naughty little girl hm?”
“Of course not.” You answered quickly, “you’re my husband. You’re the only one for me, I love you.” He felt his heart swell immensely hearing those three words and he captured your lips in a kiss and he sighed softly against them. Your arms wrapped around his neck and you pulled him flush he awkwardly backed up his legs hitting the bed before pulling you down on top of him.
“You’re coming home with me. You and Holly, it’s safe I’m never going to be without you again. Neither of you girls. Phil, Tommy, and I will protect you I’d trust them with my life.”
“Promise me.” You whispered lips hovering above his own, “That we’ll be with you for the rest of our lives?”
“I swear it,” Technoblade assured, hands cupping your cheeks, “We will spend the rest of our lives by one another's side.” He groaned once more as your lips connected with his own, he really couldn’t believe how touch-starved he was without you by his side. “You’re so hot seriously, you’re like a sexy mom.”
“I am a sexy mom.” You snorted as he broke the heated kiss with the comment,
“Yeah but I feel like I’m like you’re my friend's mom and we’re home from school and me and you are having a scandalous relationship-”
“You’re disgusting.” You sat upon his hips throwing your head back in laughter, he smiled bringing his lips to your neck nipping at your jugular.
“MILF.”
“You’re a child.” You snorted letting out a small whine as he dragged his tusks down the collum of your neck, “Techno…”
“Yes?”
“Fuck me?”
“You don’t need to tell me twice,” He purred.
~~~
It wasn’t long after you returned with Tommy and Technoblade when you fell ill for the first time, neither you nor Holly seemed used to the cold atmosphere where he made his home. It remind Techno how fragile you were and he fretted over you like a nervous parent would a toddler. You assured him it was just the flu and you’d be recovered in no time, you were right as usual and you soon adapted to the cold. Holly fell in love with her new home, she especially liked to spend time with Uncle Phil and Techno’s new neighbor Ranboo. As the years went by no one dared to mess with him or his happy little family, especially after the SMP got word of what Technoblade did to Quackity when he kidnapped Techno’s horse. They couldn’t even begin to imagine what Techno would do to someone who harmed his wife or child they would shiver at even the thought of the repercussions. As the years grew Techno remained the same age, the same looking he watched the world around him grow and change while he and Phil remained the only constants. He watched as Holly grew into a lovely young woman, with a knack for adventuring and getting into trouble with Ranboo, Tommy and Tubbo. She was just as reckless as Technoblade was at her age which was saying a lot, he felt like he always had to have one eye out for her which was hard to do when he had the other eye trained on you. Your hair had finally went fully white and it matched the snow outside their home, but you still held your smile and the light in your eyes. However, he couldn’t help but fret over you, it was clear your body was growing weaker and weaker as the years continued to tick by.
Then you got sick.
Not like the flu, this one swept you all too quickly one winter leaving you throwing up and coughing blood up into tissues in a way like Techno had never seen before. Phil and he tried all sorts of healing potions but nothing seemed to work, you only grew worse until you could barely get out of bed. Phil had whispered to Techno that night that he needed to prepare to lose you a little sooner than he expected. Techno felt his heart shatter at the idea, they didn’t have enough time together. He fell into a spiteful rage bubble in his gut, not at you but at the gods for cursing you with the ability to age. Cursing the gods of time that so much of his had to be spent away from you and his daughter, it wasn’t fair. You were still so young…weren’t you? He had stopped counting, as the numbers increased it only made worry and anxiety churn in his gut. Maybe he should’ve kept better track, if he did maybe he would’ve caught the illness more quickly and you would still be okay.
“Mate you need to go be with her…” Phil interrupted his self-destructing thoughts, “You should spend however long you have left with her by her side and smiling.”
Death was never easy, not for anybody but especially not for an immortal. As he held his lover's hand, he watched her eyes close peacefully, her white hair framed her face like a halo. He took in her appearance, smile lines, and forehead wrinkles, but she kept her love and her sharp wit throughout their life. He thought back on the many times as he got older that you told him he should move on but he never did. You were his soulmate, his lover, and his person. The child the both of you made was in the other room weeping softly, but he wanted- no needed- to stay with his wife.
“It’s okay…we’re all here you can let go now sweet thing. My beautful, princess.”
A whisper like a butterfly's breath was all it took for you to go. He watched her breathing slow, the breaths were long until they finally came to a stop. It didn’t stop the tears from falling, fat and wet down his cheeks. He wished he could’ve died with you, he would’ve given up everything for you. He would’ve fought even the strongest Gods if it meant he could have even one more night by your side. He felt his body shaking as he leaned down to place a kiss on your forehead, you were older physically but to him, you were still the same you from all those moons ago. It was then he realized his father had been right all along.
Immortality was a curse.
Techno had found you during your lowest
You had just been sold by your parents, and now moving from village to village in order to be sold to some other person
The piglin just so happen to have seen you, rope around the waist, while a man dragged you to your next destination
Phil, who was also with him that day, had noticed you too. It took one look at Techno, and he already knew what he had to do
The crow hybrid went out to the man, gave him the money that he needed and took you home with them
You were tretaed very well there, but it took a lot of patience since you knew almost nothing
Phil took the time to teach you how to speak and write, how to take care of yourself and sometimes also how to cook
While Techno taught you how to fight
From the day you joined their family, you had become so attached to the piglin
You later grew up to be a wonderful fighter. Always ready for anything and strong enough to overcome any obstacle
He was kind and strong, and you wished to become like him, so Techno took you under your wing
Obviously training with the Blood God himself wasn't easy
He was strict and seeked out perfection, he didn't pull punches nor wver went easy on you
But you were glad he did
And you had you mentor, Technoblade, to thank for
Tumblr media
        A disk spun on its needle, the haunting like melody soaking into the wallpaper that layered the drywall surrounding them. A fire cackled not far from their pawed feet, hot flames lapping away at the charred wood, it's fuel radiating just enough heat to warm the bear hybrids toes. Shadows dancing with each flicker of the orange blaze.
        E/c eyes drifted to the compass that sat heavily in the palm of their hand, it's sheen surface shining with the loadstone enchant which only became more apparent with the fire's illuminance glinting faintly off of the glass surface, it's red pinpointing north.
        Nervousness gnawed hungrily at the pit of your rather empty stomach as the thick skin of your thumb traced the letters dug into the cold iron back, careful not to damage the devices surface with your keen talons. Ever since The Blade himself handed you the device it had been clipped to your belt safely. Every so often you would spare a glance in hopes the pin would click, directing you towards your friend's new home.
        At times you would stand timidly at the end of the dock where you last saw the other hybrid, where he told you he was going to retire from everything.
The conflict.
The government.
The violence...
        "Y/n..." Technoblade stare at the sun that began to rise above the horizon as if it were to be his last, tired eyes tracing over the water line as the ball of flames arose giving birth to a new morning. His hair reeked of soot and gun powder from the recent events, here and there a patch of his roseate fur was littered in dark splotches from where clumps of dirt and gravel had landed during the nation's destruction done by the hands of its own founder. But the hybrid seemed to pay no mind to his tainted coat but more on the effervescent ball of flames that bathed the smoke-filled firmament in ravishing hues of orange and gold.
        He lost the man he considered a brother. Wilbur. To his own father. Impaled through the chest by a glistening diamond sword, if Techno didn't know any better, he would have mistaken the glittering blade as the one that Tommy had gifted the winged man on their last Christmas together.
        "Yes Techno?" Your voice was dry, hoarse even, noticeably wavering and damn near dead of all emotion, along with the dull sheen that glossed your e/c eyes. His ruby hues drifted to meet your own. Pain pooling deeply in those blood tinted orbs. Not only did The Blade lose a brother, but you had also lost something as well.
        Your home.
        And your friends.
        You lost their trust the minute you turned to face the Piglin hybrid, hand held out demandingly as he had already placed two of those ebony skulls atop of the four blocks of inklike sand that wept, but their cries fell onto deaf ears as he afforded his gaze to your stony features. The third skull sat in his clammy palms, ready to slam onto the last block of soul sand; but he hesitated, looking down at your outstretched hand that itched to feel the smooth bone of the skull. Without a second glance, he placed it into the heel of your palm with a firm nod.
        That is probably where the two made their mistakes.
        "I think I'm going to retire." His words were stern but soft as he glanced at you almost as if you were a kicked puppy cowering with its tail between its legs. Your eyes remained on the still waters that skipped across the shoreline, the sound was painful reminder of what once was. "Where will you go? Will I see you again?"
        Technoblade knew you didn't hold what happened against him, especially knowing his unexplainable hatred towards governments, I mean shit. Look what it's done. He lost his brother for God's sake, to the unquenchable thirst for power that he had at the tip of his fingers.
        Techno shook his head, unsure. "I honestly don't know, wherever the wind takes me I guess." Digging a hand into one of his pockets the taller male ferreted around before fishing a handheld object from its depths. You watched with a quirked brow as the taller man held out a large hand, gesturing for you to take what sat in his grasp.
        "For when things go south. Go north."
        At first when Techno said those words, you didn't think he meant literally, but here you were, eyes glued to the red needle that pointed north. Ever since the day of Wilbur's passing you didn't intend on living in L'Manberg- or NEW L'Manberg that is- after Tubbo took the title of the shattered nations president you had turned away from that unfinished symphony. You now resided within the barrier of the Greater SMP, atop the hill of where a certain tumultuous British boy's home was dug into.
        Some people blamed you for the way things went down, Technoblade unleashing the hellish three headed beasts with the help of your traitorous hands, the TNT that tore the nation's structure, sending everything skyward. They blamed you for helping the Pigman fight against the government that drove his brother to insanity. The Government that exiled its two original founders or the same one that drove the once great leader whose eyes shown with pride's son to destroy the very walls that were made to protect him.
        You glanced towards the dingy window another content smile splayed at your thinly lined lips.
        You remembered the time Technoblade- the man to who you looked up to with much pride- taught you how to correctly plant potatoes.
        "No, you don't plant them like that, they'll grow wonky." Pulling the vegetable from its hole, the one that you nonchalantly dug and tossed it into. You looked at the taller man that towered over you with a deadpanned expression, the six-foot something man paid no attention to your bored expression. Reaching into his pant pocket the fucia haired man ferreted for a moment. "Why? This is just a waste of fucking time they're just potatoes, nothing to get fussy or even get excited over." You spoke with the roll of your eyes and a shrug before standing beside Technoblade, dusting your soil caked fingers against your filthen and slightly tattered pants, perfect for farming.
        "Yes, they are just potatoes, but these potatoes' are what is going to fuel out battalion and keep our bodies from shutting down on themselves." Pulling a blade from his pocket the other dug its sharp edge into the middle of the vegetable and skillfully cutting it in half. Glancing at your curious figure his long tail snapped back and forth with entertainment. Just a moment ago you were groaning about how potatoes weren't much to be excited about and how planting them was a waste of time.
        Extending his hand towards you he held the small handheld blade in his scarred clad hand. "Cut them in half, we need to ration as many as we can so there's enough for everyone." You glanced up at the older man with uncertainty glinting in your (e/c) hues, a brow quirked to add into your iffiness.
        Chuckling softly Technoblade bounced his extended hand expectantly with a soft groan. "Are you gonna take it or not? I'm trying to do a whole bonding moment with my apprentice- and my arm is starting to ache." Now it was his turn to deadpan at your stiffened figure below him. Your round ears flickered as you jumped, fingers softly surrounded the blade, face bloomed with blushing embarrassment. Clutching the blades handle you glanced innocently up at the other, eyes glinting with questioning.
        Crouching slightly beside you Technoblade placed a large hand atop of your shoulder, a finger directed to the bottom of the knife. "Use this part the knife, it divides the meat in the potato better, but when you plant it make sure the small roots here-" He let his acute nails poked at the white spikes that protruded from the plants skin. "-Plant that part in the soil, make sure the cut part is facing the surface so that when it grows the plant's stem can break the surface better." Nodding you watched intently as he explained.
        "Alright." Reaching into the small potato bag that hung from your hip you pulled out another potato as Technoblade turned away from you to plant the potato that he took from your hole and planted both halves in his own dug holes before scrubbing his palms against the knees of his pants as he covered the crops.
        You held the potato gently, eyeing it with a faint smile before digging the tip into the skin.
        That was when the days were long and grueling but empty of most problems, the most you had witnessed within the walls of Pogtopia was Wilbur's constant and rabid mental decline that plummeted like a stone in water.
        Blabbering about being the villain and that if he couldn't have L'Manberg, then no one can. And with that, it was blown into the sky with the help of two shape shifting hybrids.
        You clutched the compass, pulling it to your chest. Not many ever forgave you for helping destroy the same thing that they were all fighting to protect, throwing all of their work down the drain like expensive wine. Sometimes it ate at the core of your brain, no matter how badly you wanted to apologize to the children that had to face the wrath of the man with big dark horns, or even witness the once lively leader loose his ever-living mind to the nagging voices and now a boy sent to exile by his own friend, the one who he saw as an actual brother.
        Is this how Eret felt? When he expressed his remorse for the final control room?
        Heaving a sigh your e/c eyes drifted out of the window as your mind settled on the boisterous blonde's home, one that use to bound pridefully down the prime path that just so coincidentally happened to lead up to his doorstep, chest puffed, and head held high. It was eerily quiet without his high-pitched laugh or passive aggressive threats. A spark of memory flashed through your mind as you recall a conversation with a certain winged man.
        "That kid, I'm telling ya, he's given me more gray hairs than my own son." He chuckled humorously as he watched his adopted blonde son clash his skull against the firm horn of his friend. Crying out in pain before rubbing the soon to be bruised spot that blossomed due to their recklessness. Tubbo on the other hand, clutched his stomach that grew tense with laughter a few breathy taunts leaving his cavernous lips.
        He spoke about how incredibly corrupt that government was, how it tossed the presidential titles around like it were a game of Ga-ga ball, and whose ever feet the ball just so happened to hit was the new ruler of the damned nation. The blonde man spoke of how that government drove his one and only son to dementedness and now cast the other aside, doomed to bare exile with the ghastly apparition of who once was. After your departure from L'Manberg, much like Technoblade, you gifted the two a compass that led to your home located just off the prime path, a way to locate you faster when needed.
        A content but solemn smile tugged at the edges of your lips as you began to reminisce the better times, the times you were still considered a 'good person' but you too, had shoved the goads of violence to the back of your mind. Now, you did not have the voices that sang out in demand for blood, but you did have the invasive or intrusive thoughts that would dance around your mind like a ballet dancing the nutcracker. They were tempting, urging you to wrap your large palms around the throat of anyone who stepped foot on your doorstep, watch as their lively eyes glazed over with the thin sheet of death or maybe see your clawed fingers tainted with the said crimson whine.
        This is what war does to a person.
         No matter who they are.
        A person could have the kindest heart and brightest eyes that one has ever seen before being tainted by the trauma of war that could make any man go berserk.
        But it's not the memories that were left behind that made these impulses bubble to the surface, it was the blood that stained your tongue during it. Once an animals tongue collides with the copper relish of blood, it lingers like honey, like a craving even. And that is exactly what it was for you, a nagging craving that had turned sour as of the recent months. You blamed the damned hybrid side of you, the rabid bear.
        The snap of the fire awoke your dazed figure back to reality as you glanced over, eyeing the glowing ember that sat on the waxed wood of your floor, with a groan you heaved yourself to your pawed feet before padding towards where the smoldering chunk of charred lumber lay, nonchalantly kicking it back into the hot pit to smolder into ash.
        'Get ready my dearest friend they have bound my wings, they've found you.'
        Gaze snapping to the communicator that sat atop the end table next to the hard leather cover of your recent read the screen illuminated. No one ever messaged you unless they wanted something from you, or it was an emergency.
        Nimbly dancing around the furniture that littered your path, your large, clawed manus lifted the device to your line of sight. It was from Philza. The text a whispered message.
        >(Y/n) whispered to Ph1lzA< What do you mean 'they've found you'? Who is it?
        Panic slowly installed itself into the core of your stomach as the whisper sent, jumping around like an energetic puppy being taunted with an afternoon walk.
        Who found you?
        What did they want?
        They bound his wings?
        Did he mean Chat?
        Seconds felt like eons as your (e/c) hues stare daggers into the electronic device. If looks could kill, that communicator would be fine ribbons.
        >Ph1lzA whispered to you< The Buther army, they found your compasses. I don't have much longer for they are confiscating the communicator, be safe m8.
        Shit.
        The Buther Army, a battalion of men who seek vengeance on the ones who've wronged them, and it looks that you were one of the people at the top of that list.
        Your rounded ear flicked as a stoic expression stoned your features into a thin but serious line. You needed to prepare.
        Instantly your hands got to work, thumbing through the pages of your brewery book, collecting the needed supplies to whip up the potions you would undoubtably be needing to face multiple men alone. The house reeked of panic as your lip pulled into a focused snarl, revealing the sharp edges of your canines, jabbing the stick to your grinding bowl against the fragile blaze rod you spun the wand, crushing the rod into a fine powder to then be turned into strength potions.
        Your dark tinted armor sat on a nearby armor stand prepared and enchanted, ready for usage, in the stands hand a glistening netherite sword that shone with enchantments, in the other a bow that too sang with advanced enchants. (Technobalde had helped you find the best enchantments and how to get them).
        A nearby stand bubbled as the brewing came to a finish to which you swiftly slid into your hotbar, storing the rest in the slots of your inventory. Minutes turned to hours as your grueling work was done.
        Fixing the strap of your armor your pawed feet slid into the metal of your boots that had been tailored by the great Puffy herself, lords bless that woman's soft soul. With the dusting of your shoulder to rid of the red stone dust, gun powder and blaze powder you were ready, body reverberating with fluctuating anxiety that gnawed at the core of your mind, clouding it with blurry cotton.
        They were bound to approach you first since you were undoubtedly closer to the reconstructing nation built off of corruption and pain and you were sure Philza had messaged Technoblade to inform him of the approaching battalion that approached your home radiating malice.
        Fixing your sights on the carpet that sat at the foot of the rocking chair that you sat in just moments ago you eyed the fabric remembering what lied beneath. Swiftly making your way towards the said furniture you tossed the carpet aside revealing the trap door it concealed.
        A growl left your throat as the front door vibrated from the vigorous pounding as the lock held it in place.
        "(Y/n) Step out of your home and surrender your weapons." A venomous voice demanded firmly as the sound of metal on metal made it to your rounded hybrid ears, four, that's how many shadows' you'd counted from beneath the door.
        The power behind each knock grew potent as you slipped down the hatch, the voice of Quackity being deafened by the banging door.
        Grabbing the legs of the rocking chair you swiftly pulled it over the hatch as it rested on your head against the cold metal of your helmet. At this point the knocking was no longer but the hard thud of a boot colliding with the now splintering wood you lowered the hatch still covered with the carpet down. And with that you began climbing down just as the door was thrown against your wallpapered walls.
        "WHERE THE FUCK ARE YOU!" The duck hybrids voice reeked with sour venom as he spoke, you could hear the group of boots thumping against the floorboards over your head. "WHERE THE FUCK IS THAT BEAR!" His voice seethed hatefully.
        Your boots hit the stone of the tunnel that stretched farther than you would have liked but this here hall of cold stone is what divided you from being captured and possibly killed and freedom that shown just beyond that faintly glowing opening just a few yards away.
        "Look at this," Fundy spoke deathly close to your hatch as the sound of furniture being tossed aside like a child's toy made it to your ears a deep odious chortle radiated the bird man's throat as the hatch was thrown open. Thats when the two of you made eye contact. A snarky smirk pulled at the corners of your lips as a two fingered solute was directed to the seething Quackity clad in netherite armor.
        enraged vociferation erupted as you slid a speed potion from your belt and popping the cork before again glancing up at the winged man who scaled swiftly down the ladder, earth brown hues that burned with a dangerous fire still locked on your form. With a playful chuckle and wink you downed the vials contents that took effect almost as soon as it made contact with your lips, legs pumping, creating distance between you. Capture. And freedom.
        The illuminated opening approached rapidly as a crazed adrenaline-filled grin spread across your features. Blood pumped loudly in your rounded bear ears. But as fast as it came it was gone as your euphoria only lasted a few moments; the familiar sound of hissing sounded faintly, even the sound of racing blood and thinning adrenaline it made your whole world slow almost to a stop.
        As if time were being manipulated as said, it seemed to slow as you frantically tried to stop your speeding form from the now crumbling wall, the shards blooming from beside your head, the sight just out of your prefrail vision as your armored hands lifted to shield your face.
        Like the flip of a switch time returned, your door to freedom slammed shut as your fingers brushed its closing knob. So close but again, so far. Your body was flung back to skid across the stone floor, a few hot morsels slicing through the flesh of your cheek. The sound of shattering glass made you curse loudly as the contents of your potion bottles spilled against the cold floor. Your shock was momentary as you regained your composure, jumping back to your pawed feet clumsily.
        The exit was blocked by debris.
        There was no way out.
        Ringing enveloped your erratic senses, vision blurring together.
        The exit was blocked by debris.
        There was no way out.
        You had to fight.
        Guess it's time to sooth your hunger, your thirst for blood.
        Turning to face the four who stood in the narrow hall, you lifted your netherite blade in comparison to their four diamond axes that were too raised, ready to strike.
        Quackity's chest bounced with entertainment as your form took a battle stance as he lifted his axe, directing the point towards your now bulked form obscured in tainted and matted fur as you huffed, still out of breath from running."(Y/n) (L/N), you are under arrest for the assistance of destroying L'Manberg and being associated with Technoblade. You are here by sentenced. To death..."
.
        "That's great. That's wonderful, but you gotta get outta here Wilbur." Technoblade stated firmly pushing a finger to his temple to sooth the raging voices that roared in his ears whilst pulling the blade from its place on his mantal. The pale skinned ghost turned to face his younger brother as stress knitted into the skin of Techno's brow. "They're gonna come, they're gonna see you- and they- I don't know what they're gonna do to you-" Technoblade turned swiftly to another brewing stand, removing the potions from their spots on his counter, "-I don't know what they're gonna do to me but- I don't think it's gonna be good." Fixing the round vials to his belt, Technoblade lifted the shawl from its hook before swinging it around his shoulders, locking the chain that held it in place.
        Ghostbur held his fist to his chest anxiously as he hovered over the wooden floor of his piglin brother's cabin. Technoblade turned to face the transparent male with a sigh, placing a hand on his shoulder before opening the door. "Alright, there are some bad men Wilbur that are coming to get me-" The pink haired male's words halted in his throat as the said ghost exited close behind the taller male. Swiftly making his way towards the spruce fencing that lined the staircase Ghostbur leaned over with wide oxy eyes. With a gasp the man pointed a directed finger to the open field of snow. "Techno look..." Scarlet hues following the older of the two's finger to the open tundra the piglin froze with furrowed brows. "It's a sign!" Wilbur turned back to his younger brother excitement swirling in his glossy black orbs. "Blue!"
        "Ghostbur, I need you to take that sheep." Using the tip of his sword to point tot he said animal he looked the ghost of Wilbur Soot in the eyes before speaking again. "And get as far away from here as possible."
        Ghostbur's features shifted happily as he excitedly heeded the others warning. "Can I have a leash?" The man questioned innocently rubbing the knitted cuffs of his yellow sweater anxiously. He did NOT like the way the pinkette was acting. The said male rushed back into the house as Ghostbur sat atop of the plywood that connected the fencing rails.
        "Yeah, I can go far away," glancing back towards the taller male he watched as Technoblade's large pink ears flicked prudently. "Would it be easier for you if I went far away?"
        "Uhh, I just want you to be safe Ghostbur!" Technoblade replied as he lifted the top to another chest, ferreting frantically through it before jumping to another letting the lids fall closed with a loud thud.
        "I'm always safe Technoblade, I'm already dead." The ghost floated towards his twin who hastily shoved the lead into his transparent hands, "what are they gonna do? Double kill me?" The brunette chuckled humorously at his own joke but stopped as he saw the glint of desperation in the other man's crimson hues.
        "Ghostbur, it's stopped snowing- go as far away as you can or go and hide over a hill or something, alright?" Leading the ghost out of the door he raked a clammy palm through his infrared locks as the said other contently bound from the lifted porch, lead in hand as he approached the animal, latching it to the lead and softly tugging it towards a nearby hill cameoed in thick pine. "Bye bye Techno, have fun preparing for the event!"
        Returning back to sporadically searching through the many chests that lined the walls he retrieved what he saw fit for battle, the paranoia that devoured his mind making things all the lot harder.
        Were they only going after him?
        What if they hurt Ghostbur?
        Was Phil okay?
        Were you okay?
        It had been a good long while since the God of Blood had fought another, it had been too long since his hands knew the form of his hands wrapped around the hilt of a sword tainted with blood. Maybe if things weren't as he seemed it wouldn't come to that, maybe he could negotiate with the ensemble to prevent spilling blood. He was a retired man, he sworn against violence a long time ago and sought refuge within the snowy tundra to live out his retirement.
        Chatter awoke the man from his thoughts as a pink bore ear flicked towards the source, crouching low the man clad in red and netherite tip toed his way towards the window where the voices seemed to grow louder. Using his index finger to lift the cloth of his drapes Technoblade peered through the thick sheets of glass softly blanketed with frost and fog.
        Swiping a hand across the glass he peeked into the night where he saw Ghostbur chatting contently with the netherite wearing men. "He got captured IMIDIATELY, I've never seen a man get captured to quick holy Hell." The said ghost glanced towards the cottage every so often he gave a polite wave before pointing excitedly towards the windows.
        "Shit, no, no don't wave at me- NO, DON'T POINT AT ME! DID HE JUST TURN AND POINT AT ME!" Pinching the bridge of his nose Technoblade groaned out in despair before sighing heavily before again peeking out the window, a bead of sweat dripping down his chin.
        "Oh crap, they have full enchanted netherite- I thought they were broke-" The man chuckled to himself before lifting the curtain a bit higher to see what was happening despite not being able to hear the conversation. Almost instantly Ghostbur's face brightened impossibly bigger as he frantically waved at the man in the window.
        Dropping the curtain, the man pressed the heels of his palm into his eyes with a groan of complaint. Standing from his crouched position he pulled the curtain all the way open only to cry out in complaint as Ghostbur ran enthusiastically towards the cottage.
        "HEY TECHNOBLADE! They say they're gonna kill you Technoblade-" Opening the wooden doors Ghostbur invited himself in approaching the nether beast.
        Technoblade lurched forwards to catch the door handle as Ghostbur again made his way outside, "Ghostbur- why- why are you leading them over to my house Wilbur- why are you doing this?" Ignoring his brother's words of betrayal Ghostbur turned to face the others scarred face. "What would you like me to say back to them?" Glancing towards the hill that the group of now four stood Technoblade eyed them wearily.
        "Uh, how about you look at them and tell them that I'm not here."
Ghostbur's brows furrowed tightly. "But that'd be lying, I don't like lying!"
        "We- THEY'RE GOING TO KILL ME WHY ARE YOU NOT OKAY WITH LYING!? Aaand they're all here- and their all right outside my house- Thanks Ghostbur" standing on the flight of stairs Technoblade puffed out his chest as he clutched the hilt of his sword closer unsure to use it or not.
        "Oh, Hello again Technoblade." Quackity's lips pulled into a wicked grin as Tubbo fixed the handle of his hatchet in his hand.
        "Uh, hello guy's, why have you guys come all the way over here- to my humble abode?" The said man descended the stairs where he stood a few moments ago as he eyed the Four before him. Quackity, Fundy, Ranboo and Tubbo. Where was the third?
        Tubbo stepped forwards with a slight tremble in his stance as he spoke with a wavering voice. "Technoblade." He inhaled. "You need to pay for your war crimes."
        "Woah, woah, woah, that was in the past man, alright? That was a different Technoblade. I'm a changed man now! I'm in retirement, I'm a good person now Tubbo." Here he went, negotiation, maybe he would be able to change their minds with assurance.
        Quackity hummed in denial whilst shaking his head, nose scrunching with malice as he lifted his axe to point at the man who stood before him the sheen of antipathy grew thicker with each passing second. "Techno, you and (Y/n) exploded L'Manberg with fucking-"
        "You two literally spawned withers EVERYWHERE!" Tubbo cut in, placing a firm hand to the ravenette's shoulder.
        Shrugging the brunette's hand away the duck hybrid stepped forwards slightly, mock understanding lacing his already ill toned voice. "I'm sorry Technoblade, but you two need to be brought to justice for that. And there is nothing I can do to change that" The male shrugged boldly, spinning the blade of his axe in his hand.
        "Okay- Listen you guys, I've gone through so much effort over the past months to change my violent ways, I have reformed alright?" Lifting an empty hand to his head an index finger jabbed into the flesh of his temple as he spoke again. "The VOICES demand blood, and I- I have been denying THEM! I've been fighting back! PLEASE, please don't make kill all of you." Letting his hand drop the other that held the hilt of his sword directed to the four who stood before him before backing away a step. "Please just leave."
        A tenseful silence fell upon the men before one spoke again. "Technoblade, please just come peacefully..."
        Quackity lifted a hand to silence the president of the broken nation as he nodded firmly with a nonchalant shrug, "you know what, yeah, how about you show us around? Show us what you've been doing while in retirement. Let's do this peacefully."
        Technoblade tensed at the raven-haired man's tone as he side stepped away from the four, swiftly approaching the far side of his house hesitantly sliding the sword into its spot on his hip. "I- huh- Well I have Bees' here, aren't they nice?"
        Tubbo's eyes lit up slightly now with relaxed shoulders at the mention of his favorite mob, approaching the small makeshift bee farm he placed a hand against the glass as one shimmied its chunky body from the hole of its hive to nuzzle into the flowers that lined the wall. At the sight of this the four others openly approached the bee farm.
        With a few wary backpedal steps, the pig hybrid turned on the ball of his heel, sweat gathering at the hair of his brow as he began to run from the distracted battalion of four.
        After a few moments and a few feet away shouts of panic instilled as multiple footsteps followed behind the taller male who then skidded to a stop, hands raised in mocking surrender. "Hey, hey, hey, it was just a joke-"
        "You know what, fuck it Techno, we tried to do this civilly, but we won't let you out of here in one fucking peice, we are going to fuck you up techno. It's either going to be the easy way or the hard way. We're going to go back to L'Manberg and you're going to come with us. There's no other way around it." Quackity spun his axe skillfully as he took a battle stance.
        Technoblade's brows knit together tightly as the voices began to chant.
        Blood for the Blood God.
        Blood for the Blood God!
        BLOOD FOR THE BLOOD GOD!
        His top lip pulled into a snarl revealing the sharpening canines, his figure seeming to take on new heights as patches of fur bloomed across his skin, the armor that sat loose across his stature grew tight as he revealed his full glory.
        It was time to sooth their hunger.
        With a huff from his snout and the snap of his jaw's he growled. "If that's how it is... I CHOOSE BLOOD!" Ripping the leather belt from his waist he slammed it down, the glass splash vials that lined it shattered coating the beast in its contents as his muscles bulked, eyes grew dilated with speed and the screaming voices, followed with his body ached with regeneration. Technoblade ripped the sword from its sheath as he sprung, blade raised high with the intent to kill.
        The sharpened edge dug into the handle of Quackity's axe before unloding it from the wood and hacking down again as the said bird hybrid spun away, avoiding the deadly strike.
        Panicked shouting ensued as the group of four scattered, slipping against the sheet of snow.
        Turning his attention towards a certain fox featured boy Technoblade dug the hooves of his feet into the frozen forest floor, launching himself forwards delivering an armor crumbling blow. Clutching his now aching ribs Fundy scrambled to escape the beast's power whilst crying out about how God damned heavy, he hit even with the performance enhancing potions.
        Sliding just a few feet away was Tubbo, axe at the ready as he charged the pink coated beast that snarled, clouds of hot smoke bellowing from his nostrils as he too charged, scarlet hues glazed with the intent to annihilate to cut down each and every single one of the men who dared disturb his retirement and force him back into the ways of violence, forcing him to collapse under the pressure of the voices to sustain their unquenchable thirst.
        Fear replaced the once confident look that crossed his face as the boy turned to run, netherite boots sliding against the frozen ground. A cry of panic escaped the ball in his throat.
        "BIG Q DO SOMETHING, BIG Q!" The hook in his boot caught the root of a tree, sending the president tumbling to the forest floor, diamond axe raised as Technoblade's sword collided with the base of the smaller blade, applying pleasure to the hilt of his sword the Piglin beast snarled as Tubbo's arms trembled under the unbearable weight as his emerald hues met with the dilated pair that danced with pain.
        Strings of curses fell from Quackity's lips as he glanced about, looking for something to use for leverage, knowing full well he could use his gift but that was needed for more drastic measures.
        The blade of the hybrid's sword dug into the flesh of Tubbo's shoulder as he cried out, struggling to push the massive creature away from him in order to escape, but it seemed that no matter how hard he tried, his attempts always went down in vain.
        The familiar sound of hooves awoke The Blade from his stoper, snapping his head to the sound he saw Quackity perched on the back of a rearing Carl who whinnied in displeasure before shaking his head in a final attempt to rid of his new rider.
        Panicked, Technoblade tore his blade from the other's before turning to face the ravenette.
        "WOAH, WOAH, WOAH, WHAT ARE YOU DOING, WHAT ARE YOU DOING WITH THAT HORSE QUACKITY!?"
        "Technoblade, stop what you're doing, stop right now-"
        "Woah, woah, woah, woah, stop what you're doing. Get away from that horse Quackity." Lifting the blood tainted sword, the oversized beast directed it to the man who stirred the reigns of his stallion with a grin, satisfied that he finally found a weakness in the Legendary Technoblade.
        "No." Quackity stated with a slight jerk of the reigns that willed the horse into a standing still as he held the handle of his axe to the horse's beige fur. "You get away from them Technoblade. If you pull any shit, I am going to kill Carl. I will fucking slay him if you don't get away from them."
        The piglin beast's breathing stuttered as he widely stepped away from the two other hybrids.
        "Technoblade, I am going to kill your horse-"
        "-Why would you do that?"
        "Unless you cooperate."
        Technoblade's eyes narrowed as he hesitantly stepped away from the raven-haired man who sat atop his noble steed. "What do you want from me?"
        "I want you to drop your shit, drop your shit Techno and Carl doesn't get hurt."
        With that being said the beast formed man threw his axe into the snow.
        "All of it, this is not a negotiation. Drop it all"
        Technoblade glanced down at the blood slicked blade that sat light in his large palm before he huffed in what seemed to be amusement. "I can get a new horse if I need too. It doesn't matter." (I know he wouldn't really say this, but for plot's sake, he is.)
        Quackity looked slightly taken aback at the statement as the war criminal before him readjusted his grip on the swords hilt. With a stunned huff followed by demented and amused laughter the man on the horse shook his head with a nod.
        "For some reason, I knew you'd say that. So that's why I brought you a gift, Technoblade." Digging the heel of his boots into the horse's ribs Quackity approached a small thicker part of the forest where he stopped and turned to face the oversized hybrid.
        Lifting a hand, the beanie wearing man spoke with wallowing pride as the gift was shoved from behind the thicket, the sound of chains rattling filled the tense thick air. "May I present to you-" Watching as it landed limply in the snow, Quackity slid from the horses back before hopping towards the thing like a child who was told they could have whatever they wished at the candy store.
        Skidding to a stop, Quackity planted both feet on either side of the figure before gripped a fist full of hair, tugging the figures blooded face up from the soiled snow to reveal who it was.
        "YOUR ONE AND ONLY APPRENTICE, TADA!!" He sang in excitement that he was finally able to reveal his plan B.
        (Y/N) grunted painfully as Technoblade's breath caught in his throat.
        Their (h/l) (H/c) locks were matted with dark and now frozen blood that had dripped down the crown of their head before drying, their nose busted and bloodied as clots of blood plugged each nostril, both lips that were now blue from the cold were split so deep that he was sure he could see the younger one's gums that were too painted crimson from their harsh faceplant into the icy ground as shallow and stuttering breaths wheezed past your swollen. The once nice thin clothes that they wore were torn and tattered, tainted with their own crimson whine, you had not been dressed to embark on a trip to the frigid tundra. Your hands were bound behind your back by a pair of copper cuffs.  (Copper is what keeps shape shifting hybrids from shifting into their animal form)
        But what made his blood turn cold was how deathly pale you were. From what he could see you lost quite a bit of blood while on your way over but the bruises and deep cuts that littered your figure did not make you look any better in any way shape and or form.
        Quackity held the handle of his axe with bubbling excitement as he glared challengingly at the shifted man. "Drop your shit Technoblade..."
        Technoblade was frozen where he stood, eyes glued to your weakened form. You looked to broken, your (e/c) hues that once glistened with courage and power now sat dull and defenseless, he could have sworn that he saw guilt swirl in those dull eyes of yours.
        Gripping the tufts of hair in his hand tighter Quackity lowered the sharpened edge of his diamond axe to rest tightly at the ball of your throat.
        "Or I will kill this kid, right in front of you."
        "Don't..." Your voice came out hoarse, tone just above a whisper, but he was still able to catch it. "You still have time to r-run."
        Tearing his gaze from your shivering form, Technoblade dropped his sword.
        His potions.
        His crossbow.
        Trident.
        Golden apples.
        All of it, before finally unlatching the hold-knob of his cloak and tossing it to the side and finally letting the glistening crown that sat atop his head clatter to the forest floor alongside his netherite armor.
        His hands raised in surrender.
        Quackity's brown eyes burned with victory as he removed the weapon from your throat, both of his feet from either side of you were no longer there, letting your head again fall into the snow you were then hoisted up from under your shoulder. Whimpering painfully, you unwillingly leaned against the ravenette for support as he danced giddily before his energetic facade dropped to look Technoblade dead in his rage filled eyes.
        "So here is what's going to happen Technoblade, (Y/N). We are going to take you both back to L'Manberg to face trial. Alright?" His voice seethed as the other person he was supporting weakly lifted their head.
        "Sounds like... Bull shit..."
        Tubbo stood, lips pulled into a thin line. "They just insulted our government..."
        Technoblade snapped his head to face the ram. "Oh, we just insulted your, oh your government has been insulted. OHHH!"
I had to put a few of Technoblade's funny moments because I am missing the hell out of that man.
"His focus has been entirely taken up by the long, matted pink hair falling into the human’s eyes.
Ranboo stares at it, and his thought process goes like this:
Pink sheep are rare sheep. Their wool is naturally pink. Niki dyes her hair pink; the roots showing. This human’s hair is full-on pink. It’s naturally pink. Again, pink sheep are rare sheep. Wool. Hair. Rare.
Conclusion? This pink-haired human is a rare human.
And Ranboo collects rare things."
OR
Ender Dragon hybrid Ranboo accidentally gets captured and meets pink-haired Technoblade the human and, upon having a few realizations, decides that this human is now his and part of his hoard. This is how he gets the human back home to his cave.
WARNING: THE FOLLOWING SCENES CONTAIN HUMOR AND HURT/COMFORT.
READER DISCRETION IS ADVISED.
I once again participated in writing a fic for @voicesfortheblade and this year my prompter was none other than @anarchy-and-piglins themself!
Their prompt was really just anything to do with protective Ranboo and hurt Technoblade. And I took that and ran with it. Not much hurt yet, but there's definitely some protective (and a touch possessive) Ranboo.
AND ALSO??? I just realized I never posted on here a link to the fic I made last year for this exchange?? At least, it's not showing up in my tags. So...yeah. Oh well.
Happy reading!
WET SOCKS. — LIBRARIAN!TECHNOBLADE X !READER
.. .. .. ..
— it was a soft drizzle when you first left your home, hoping to go on a short walk before the rain really came down.
you were only out for a few minutes when the rain started to gradually get stronger, forcing you to take cover in a random book store. your wet hair stuck to your face and the back of your neck, the long sleeve sweater you were was somewhat drenched.
"hi, you look a bit soaked over there." came a calm monotone voice.
you turned around to see the owner of the voice, coming face to face with a towering man, his eyes were a gentle red and his long pink hair was pulled up into a neat yet at the same time messy bun, he had sharp pointed ears and two small tusks that stuck out the corners of his mouth and his skin was fair.
"uh yeah, the rain kinda came outta nowhere." you laughed lightly, the stranger smiled a little bit.
"well i was about to close up shop but you can stay here till the rain calms down."
"oh you don't ha—" you began quickly explaining to the man that he didn't have to do that but you were cut off mid sentence, amusement clear in the man's eyes.
"i don't mind." he laughed at your sudden eagerness to run back into the heavy rain. "it would be rude of me to make you go back out into that storm anyway."
internally sighing in defeat, you simply nodded your head with a small smile, walking over to sit at a table close to the window so you could look out at the street; watching as people rushed to get out of the rain.
it was quiet for some time, the soft patter of rain hitting the window and the smell of books and coffee was calming. occasionally you'd steal a glance to the piglin hybrid who barely looked up from his book, allowing you to take in his features.
"what's your name?" the sudden question made you jump a little bit, your heart racing as you rushed to look back at the window even though he hadn't looked from his book when he asked the question.
"what?" you replied dumbly which earned an amused hum from the man. "i asked what your name was."
"oh! um, my names y/n! what's yours?"
"technoblade."
'what a strange name.' you thought to yourself, staring at the man with mild curiosity. "really?"
the curiosity in your tone made technoblade look up from his book, a single bushy brow arching up. "is it hard to believe that my name is technoblade?"
the back of your ears heated up in embarrassment. "um..it's uh..a bit strange?"
your response had technoblade staring at you with clear amusement while you shrunk down in your seat, avoiding all eye contact with the hybrid. "that's a bit mean."
"sorry, i didn't mean to offend you."
"you didn't, i found it funny."
"oh."
his laugh made you look up from your hands, a small smile creeping up onto your lips. "i like your laugh." you blurted out before your brain could stop you.
your compliment didn't seem to bother technoblade at all, he seemed even more amused by your clear embarrassment after you realized you had complimented him out loud. "i like your dinosaur socks." he chuckled.
you smiled shyly, looking back down at your hands. "thanks, they're a bit wet though."
after that you and technoblade spent the next hour waiting out the rain, he even offered to drive you home once the rain wasn't so heavy. you refused the offer a few times, not wanting to trouble him but he insisted, jokingly saying he didn't want your dinosaur socks to get more wet from the puddles.
you eventually agreed after some coaxing and a random job offer that you're half sure was a bluff on his side.
then,, can i request some hurt/comfort for c!tommy during exile? maybe with a piglin hybrid reader who finds out abt his exile after their hibernation and decides to go visit him?
preferably with masculine terms if you could!
- 🦭 anon
I got ya!
———
Your best friend was in exile, and you don’t know why, not that’s that’s what you’re worried about. You just need to hug him. Techno had given you directions, and you’re sprinting. Then you see Tommy. You practically tackle the blonde in a hug.
“TOM!” You shout and pull him against you. “Oh Tommy oh my god” you whisper. Tommy looks mortified.
“Y/n I’m so so sorry..” he whispers breathlessly. He looks also just scared
“Why are you sorry?” You mumble as you rub his back
“I messed everything up” he whispers “I got exiled, if people see you with me they’ll hate you” he says a bit louder
“Since when do I care what people think? You always come first Tom” you say to him, he sobbs into your shoulder as you rub his back “it’s all ok Tom, I’m here now” you whisper in his ear.
It’s always been you and Tommy against the world, and this is no different. You sat with him for hours, massaging his shoulders and back as you call him every sweet name you can. You just want him happy, happy and safe, but you know that he’s always safe in your arms, and he knows that too. He eventually falls asleep in your arms, you stay awake. Only wishing he was asleep in your bed with you, comfortable, warm, and safe. You could clean and dress his wounds, get him new clothes, let him take a real shower, give him real food. But you know that only makes him more of a target, so for now you stay right here. Wishing. And hoping that one day you become his boyfriend rather than his best friend, though, I’m sure it’ll happen soon.
Eeee I wrote this whole very tired so I hope it’s ok
Mystical!Tiny Reader x MCYTs
Pt 1 (Snow globe!reader)
Tumblr media
youtube
Technoblade
Techno had gotten you as a present on his first birthday with his new family (SBI). Phil wanted to help him settle in more so he bought you after some time, waiting for the right moment.
A few years go by and it's just Techno and Philza now. Tommy and Wilbur finally moved out and Phil occasionally visited.
When he had gotten your snowglobe he was fascinated and played your music snow globe all the time, but as he got older he obviously got more interested in swords and books.
So he decided to keep you in a safe spot for old memorys, a box of sorts.
So Techno finally decided to clean the storage room a bit so, after a while of sorting and cleaning he found you again.
Suprisingly you still worked, so techno went to his room and sat on his bed, wounding your snow globe up.
You've been asleep for a few years after you were gifted to a little piglin boy.
That's when you woke up and started to spin, playing your violin as you were suppost to. After a few seconds, Techno started looking more closely. Your chest was moving up and down as if you were breathing. The snow made it hard to see it but he noticed
-your pov-
As you played you decided to look around since you haven't been awake in a while, you could start up by yourself but it's against the rules as well as kind of useless since your the only alive toy.
After a few years of being played with and carefully cared for, your kid finally put you in storage, it hurt a little but you understood why.
A few years pass by when you feel your snow globe wind up. When it was done winding you opened your eyes and started playing your violin as you spun around.
Techno was shocked when you suddenly flinched and dropped your violin.
You then looked up and startled a bit, dropping your violin and paused spinning. There was a huge piglin hybrid looking into your globe.
-pov from the start-
He did is iconic "heh?" after you dropped your violin.
he calmed down after you picked up your violin, and set you on his drawer again and went to call or find phil, he was beyond confused.
Leaving you to freak out alone, You realized you just broke the most important rules, Your human knows you're alive and now you can't do anything about it. Great.
So you just decided to calm yourself down by sitting in the "snow" and playing your violin till your human comes back.
A little uncomfortable since your not on your stage but you just shrugged it off and waited.
------------------
Soon enough Techno comes back. He couldnt find Phil so he's gonna have to deal with this on his own much to his annoyance.
Eventually you and him came to a agreement and you answered technos questions and such.
After you both had talked a bit and understood what was happening, Techno had set you in his living room on top of his fireplace with all his family pictures since its warm there.
You now stay there unless requested otherwise. (Occasionally getting put in the kitchen or carried around with techno)
You and Techno get along pretty well and you now get to wind up by yourself whenever you want which is a relief.
Techno did offer to help you out of your globe but you had to explain the winding up process and some other things.
Techno loves when you play your violin, especially when hes reading on his couch.
You did meet tommy when he had showed up to Techno's house from exile.
You did keep him a secret from techno as you remembered him from technos childhood so techno did scold you a bit for that.
Tommy did almost break your globe once but you forgave him reluctantly. After a few apologies of course.
Maybe one day you will exit your globe..just not now.
Beneath the Coils Chapter 1: A Story Begins ☁️
Content Warning: "Beneath the Coils" is an explicit adult fanfic containing sexual content, including scenes of a graphic nature. It explores themes of passion, possessiveness, dominance, jealousy, and trauma. Reader discretion is advised.
Pairing: C!Piglin Hybrid! Technoblade x Reader
This chapter is a backstory of the relation you have to Techno
Tumblr media
Chapter 1 - A Story Begins
y/n and Technoblade had an unconventional meeting. They first crossed paths during an intense battle where Technoblade was brought into Pogtopia's war against Manberg. At first, their connection was one of necessity and mutual strategic benefit. y/n, known for their quick thinking and strategic prowess, joined forces with Technoblade, showcasing their tactical brilliance and proving their worth amidst the chaos of battle.
Over time, their relationship developed into something much deeper. y/n's sharp intellect and ability to anticipate Technoblade's moves intrigued the stoic warrior. Struggling with deep-seated isolation, Technoblade found solace and comfort in y/n's presence. Gradually, trust blossomed, forging a connection that extended beyond the realm of war and fight.
As their bond grew, late-night strategy sessions turned into stolen moments of laughter and intimacy. y/n's lightness brought warmth into Technoblade's life, breaking through the walls he had built around his emotions. Their synergy became palpable, their innate chemistry magnetic. Little by little, romantic feelings of affection wove themselves into their existing profound bond.
In stolen fragments of time between battles, they sought each other out. Soft touches and shy kisses soon bloomed into nights spent locked together, their bodies overlapping in a dance of passion and longing. Their encounters were not driven solely by desire but by a need for emotional connection and affirmation. In those intimate moments, they explored the depths of their fiery connection.
Technoblade's battle scars, testaments of countless conflicts, only fueled y/n's love for him. They traced their fingers along his battle-torn skin, emphasizing the shared journey and experiences they had undergone together. Technoblade, who normally appeared distant and invulnerable, unveiled his vulnerability to y/n, exposing the full scale of his emotions.
But their fledgling connection wasn't without its challenges. The shifting allegiances and betrayals in their war-ravaged world threatened to tear them apart. Yet, they weathered the storms together, steadfast in their devotion to one another. Each obstacle they faced served only to strengthen their bond.
They orchestrated stolen moments of solace amidst the chaos, drawing strength from the love that united them. Technoblade, the solitary warrior, found solace and the deepest source of comfort in y/n. For their unwavering loyalty no matter what, y/n became not only Technoblade's beloved partner but also their fortress of unwavering support.
In a world defined by battles and conflicts, they cultivated a haven—a sanctuary away from prying eyes. Within hidden corners, y/n and Technoblade found refuge; nurturing their connection through whispered words of affection and the haven of each other's embraces. It was within this sanctuary that their enduring bond splintered steadfastly for every trial waiting in their futures.
PARING: c!Technoblade x gn!reader
SUMMARY: Dream cashes in his favour to Techno - kill you.
WARNINGS: heavy angst, implied one sided love
A/N: one of my fave fics, hope you enjoy :))
1.2k words - M.LIST
Tumblr media
Water sprinkled down from the greying atmosphere above, no bright blue skies in sight. There wasn’t an overwhelming amount of people out today, which was quite understandable given the light drizzle and absence of the sun. A gloomy day for a gloomy mission.
Today Dream had finally cashed in his favour to Technoblade. He had set a relatively easy mission for the piglin brute; Dream just needed Techno to take someone out for him.
The biggest issue Technoblade had was that it was you of all people. He – along with everyone else – hadn’t heard from you since you left and retired, and although he would never admit it, he was worried for you. the voices had managed to convince him you were already dead, but when Dream handed him your coords, he knew you may as well be.
Techno considered for a moment whether knocking on the door would be appropriate, considering he was here for your head after all. But before he could decide for himself, the door swung open.
There you stood, appearing rather dishevelled. You must’ve grown out your hair whether you noticed or not, but Techno knew it was longer than he had ever seen it. You had rather uncomplimentary dark circles dragging under your eyes, your usually fair complexion paler and sallow. You had seemingly lost some weight, skin clinging harshly to your muscles and bones.
The hybrid and his chat quickly decided that retirement was not a good look on you.
“Techno,” you say, appearing slightly out of breath, “what are you doing here?”
For a split second, the piglin felt… guilty? “I’m here to kill you.”
Your tired expression didn’t waver. “Ah,” you sigh, “that’s pretty sucky.”
Techno pulls his axe from his inventory, standing tall to appear as intimidating as possible. Chat are beginning to get riled up, excited for the upcoming bloodshed.
“Well, before you…y’know, would you like a cup of tea? Freshly brewed,” you offer.
Techno (and his chat) falter. Tea? They understood what we said, right?
“Eh, why not,” Techno replies.
You send him a soft smile, and scamper off to your kitchen. He lets himself in, closing the front door rather gently behind him. Putting his ‘Orphan Obliterator’ back in his inventory, he takes his damp cloak off and hangs it on the coat rack, then follows the sound of brewing through the house.
Within under a minute you are handing him a mug of steaming liquid, directing him towards the two comfiest chairs that face the wide window that overlooks the lake. You sit in the one beside the couch, leaving Techno to sit opposite to you and next to a crafting table.
Techno is about to ask what type of tea it is, but you stop him. “Mint,” you fondly smile, “I know it helps calm the voices. Plus it’s all I have.” He couldn’t help but notice the underlying gravel and hoarseness in you voice, it becoming rapidly apparent you hadn’t spoken this much in a long while.
“Thank you,” he mutters, taking his first sip.
“How’s your father? I haven’t spoken to him in a while,” you chuckle.
Techno doesn’t wish to talk about his father right now, but given that you are quite literally sitting in a room with your successor, he decides to indulge you. “Phil is doin’ alright,” Techno nods.
“Ah that’s good to hear. And your brothers? How are they?”
Techno snorts. “Dead and exiled.”
“Oh…” you reply, taken slightly aback. “I’m sorry.”
“Don’t be.”
“Well, I guess I’ll be joining one soon,” you dryly chuckle, a weak attempt at humour. Techno doesn’t laugh.
For a while you both sit and sip in silence, the only noise the calming patter of the steadily increasing rain.
Techno is halfway through his cup when you pipe up again. “Y’know, I have been in love with you for longer than I can remember,” you admit.
The brute stiffens, stunned at the sudden confession. A haunting idea dawned on him, but at the same time you spoke again. “You’re probably thinking that I’m telling this so you will spare my life-” that’s exactly what we think! “-but I promise I’m not. I… you don’t have to say anything. I just thought you should know.”
Technoblade nods in acknowledgement, but keeps his lips shut tight in fear of letting slip something he vowed no one would ever know.
The pair of you fall back into a partly-tense, partly-not silence. The rain is much heavier now, water lashing at the sealed window. You can hear the unforgiving winds whistling through the tree leaves, sure to leave a mess in its wake.
“Looks like a rainstorm,” the piglin mutters, distracted in the same way as you. Right then a loud crack of thunder echoes throughout the clearing and your home, which makes you smile gently.
“Thunderstorm,” you correct. He scoffs quietly at your comment. “Dream send you?”
“Yeah. How’d you know?”
You sigh quietly. “Dream came over yesterday- or a few days ago, I’ve lost track of time again- and told me to start counting down my days, because the blood god was coming for me.”
Techno hates the fact that the plain exhaustion and underlying hurt makes his heart ache. “If you knew why’d you ask?”
“I wanted you to decide how this was going to go. I also wanted to know if you were going to lie or be outright, like you were.”
He stares at you for a moment, unblinking, trying to decipher your expression. After a while he realises you aren’t lying, just simply wanting whatever he does. He pushes down the shame and regret, blocking out his emotions for the time being.
“How are the voices doing?”
“They’re fine,” Techno mumbles, not giving it any second thought.
“How are they now?”
He thinks for a moment, noticing their momentary dullness from both the tea and the violence of the raging storm. “Quiet.”
You hum softly, wrapping your arms around yourself for a bit of warmth.
Techno places his mug on the coffee table and shuffled to the fireplace, making quick work of lighting a radiating fire. Before you can thank him, he left the room to presumably grab his coat to dry in front of the fire. But when the front door squeaks open and slams shut, a part of you can’t help but feel sad now that the man you loved so deeply had left you yet again.
You don’t have the energy to get up and follow him, so you curl into yourself more. Your eyes begin to droop, but not before a single tears rolls down your cheek. Sleep washes over you before you can stop it, and you know you will be out for a while.
Techno comes back, saturated, an arms full of newly chopped wood at his disposal. He sets it next to the fireplace when he sees you resting in an uncomfortable position, and moves to lift you onto the couch. After he gently lays you down, he finds a thick blanket and covers your body, effectively stopping your fragile body dying from hypothermia.
He leaves a note for you when you wake, which simply reads:
Dream thinks you’re dead. Let’s keep it that way.
I’ll be back.
Take care of yourself.
——————
Tubbo was, for lack of a better term, freaking the FUCK out!!
He’d just been planning to go to the Nether to mine some gold since he was running out, and figured hey why not go through the portal close to Azo’s house so he could pop by to visit her?? No big deal, right? But instead of a normal visit/mining expedition he runs into Azo…
IN THE OVERWORLD!
Where she absolutely positively was NOT supposed to be!
So yeah, the horned player was panicking. And Azo was shaking a little already, not a good sign!
“What do I do? What the fuck do I do??? Uh, okay we gotta get back to the Nether!”
He scooped the teary eyed Azo up and rushed with her towards the portal, but came to a sudden halt when her shaking intensified. It was too late. It didn’t matter if he got her back now, the zombification process was already starting!
His breathing hitched in panic, he sat her back down on the grass, not really sure what to do now.
The young hybrid furiously looked around them, making sure there were no mobs that would attack, seeing some pigs a bit away from them, and a skeleton about 30 blocks away though it didn’t seem to care about either of them at the moment. But Tubbo discarded that thought as soon as he had it, still freaking out about Azo. Without even bothering to keep the messages private he pulled up his communicator and sent out the panicked texts.
Tubbo: MUM COM ETO THE PORTAL THAT LEADS TO AZO’S HOUSE
Tubbo: HURRY! SOMETHING HAPPENED AND I DON’T KNOWWHAT TO DO
Everyone on the server saw them, including Reader, who was rightfully panicked after reading them. She up and abandoned the meeting she was in and sprinted out of the White House towards the portal leading to her smallest two children. She was going so fast a few people swore it looked like her feet weren’t even touching the ground. She forwent the wood path, dashing between buildings, through yards, and even over obstacles to get to the portal faster.
Tubbo was on the verge of crying along with Azo, but he just held her close and shushed her and told her that Mum would make everything better and it would all be okay. Azo sniffled but nodded as best she could with how badly her body was shaking. She didn’t feel good, she felt bad, like the time she ate some of that gross meat she found in a chest but so much worse. And why did her hands and feet sting? Like she’d been touching those “cold” drinks her mom makes for them. Only this cold is scary..
-0-
Wilbur was running, the minute he saw Tubbo he froze like some pathetic rabbit caught in the gaze of a fox even though the younger of the two of them hadn’t even seen him. He couldn’t move, both because he was actually shocked it had been the younger ram hybrid but also because he knew moving at all would alert Tubbo to him being there. The juvenile hybrid had damn good hearing and Wilbur knew that. So he just painfully stood there, barely breathing as he watched Tubbo try calming the baby piglin down before just picking her up and running through the portal with her.
But the second they disappeared into the purple swirling haze Wilbur was off like a shot, bolting through trees and heading to the ravine he’d left Schlatt at. He heard his communicator chime, signaling a message in the public chat but he ignored it to avoid a creeper. And by the time he’d made it all the way to the ravine he was beyond winded and trying to eat some bread to get his hunger back up. Along the way he got another couple pings on his communicator but ignored them too. And when he entered the ravine Schlatt seemed to be waiting for him, looking tense and before Wilbur could speak the ram was blurting out,
“What the fuck did you do?”
That caught Wilbur by surprise, and he asked what Schlatt meant. The brunet wondered how Schlatt knew something had happened. Well him sprinting back to the ravine probably gave a hint but the mustached ram sounded so sure Wilbur had fucked up. And when Schlatt just raised an eyebrow and gestured to his own communicator Wilbur remembered he’d heard some incoming messages, but he’d been so focused on running he’d ignored them. So now when he looked he bit the inside of his cheek anxiously.
Reader knew.
Oh shit she definitely knew about what happened to the piglin kid. Wilbur didn’t like how his skin prickled in nerves, like he was scared. He had no reason to be! She’d never know it was him that caused this, even unintentionally! So he can just calm down, breathe and scrap the plan he had to use Azo as leverage and just think of something else. No problem.
“Dude.. I don’t know what you did, but whatever it is.. I got a feeling it’s gonna bite us right on the ass..” Schlatt said in a surly tone.
Wilbur’s throat pinched as he swallowed and he told Schlatt he was just being paranoid, he hadn’t done anything crazy. There’d been a mishap thanks to some stupid ghast but that’s all it was; a mishap. Plus there was no way to tie it all back to him. No humans or hybrids had seen him so he was in the clear.
Though.. when he finally told Schlatt what happened, the look the ram hybrid gave him did the opposite of putting his mind at ease. Then he had the gall to let out a loud bark of laughter and say,
“Wilbur, buddy… you might have just fucked yourself here. Cuz last I checked, Reader actually gives a shit about the kids she keeps around. So.. she might hold a grudge when she finds out you more or less killed one of said kids..”
Wilbur didn’t look impressed with Schlatt’s statement, and the ram would even say the ex-president was totally bored with the conversation and didn’t really care… Or he would have if he hadn’t spotted the anxious drop of sweat beading on the brunet’s brow. Oh yeah, he was definitely internally freaking out. And Schlatt can’t really blame him. Pissing off hybrid parents was stupid, any hybrid will tell you that. The ex-president should know that, what with having a hybrid father and all.
But Schlatt shrugged and said, “Well I guess so long as you’re sure nobody saw you there then you should be fine. Right?”
The glasses wearing player nodded, a breath of relief escaping him as he clung to that thought. Nobody had seen him but some piglins, a ghast, some blazes, and the kid herself. And he doesn’t think she’ll make it to rat him out so all’s well that ends well.
*beepbeep-beep*
Reader stepped through the portal closest to L’manberg and sped through the Nether, disregarding anything in her path, and eventually she got to the familiar area where she’d build Azo’s house. But there was no sign of Azo or Tubbo anywhere. She furiously looked around before holding up her communicator, getting ready to message Tubbo if she couldn’t find him on the other side of the portal.
But when she stepped through the sight that greeted the white eyed being almost made her knees give out underneath her.
Tubbo was holding Azo. Azo. Who was IN THE OVERWORLD!
No, no, nonononoNONONO! She should not be here!
“TUBBO! NO! What-wh- oh fuck. What is Azo doing out here??” Reader gasped.
The boy in question started babbling about how he didn’t know, he found her out here and she was already shaking badly by the time he had.
Reader shakily stumbled forward before collapsing onto the ground in front of the pair so she could check over Azo, her hands trembling as they reached out for her littlest child, but… she was already too far gone. Her usual white eyes looked milky and showed a glossed over appearance to them, revealing her not really being focused in the present. And her skin had taken on a bluish tint, giving her usually rosy pink flesh a colder candy pink tone. And if that weren’t bad enough, it looks like part of her flesh is starting to shrivel and rot. The sight made her stomach feel as if it weighed 100 pounds before it sank into her shoes.
Azo looked up at her but there was nothing behind her eyes. A sudden thought burst into Reader’s head and all at once she was opening her inventory and desperately scrounging through it for two particular items. She flipped through categories before finding the one she wanted, then started scrolling around in a pell-mell fashion in search of one in particular. Once she found the first she snatched it before going in search of the second. Both gathered she pushed her inventory closed and quickly uncorked the potion bottle and gently but urgently grabbed Tubbo and pulled him away from the mindless ziglin child.
Then without warning she doused her in the potion, that’s when Tubbo realized what Reader was doing. Tears welled in his eyes and he gently placed a hand on his mum’s back, softly saying that trying the potion of weakness and golden apple route wasn’t going to work. He heard that it only works on villagers. But Reader snapped back that they didn’t know that for sure! Tubbo watched sadly as she tried offering Azo the golden apple, but she didn’t show any interest in it. Reader got so desperate that she bit off a piece herself before gently forcing it into the girl’s mouth, sighing in relief when she automatically started chewing it.
Tubbo hated that he actually held his breath for a moment afterwards, that he’d hoped it would actually work. But nothing happened and Reader’s desperation grew and she muttered about maybe the golden apple just not being strong enough so she pulled out an enchanted one instead, doing the same move of biting a piece off and feeding it to Azo. The small hybrid behind her sighed softly, his ears lowering in grief. He patted her back and said it wasn’t working, but Reader cut him off in a wobbly voice,
“No! It has to work!” before her resolve hardened and she pulled Azo into a tight hug and continued, “It WILL work!”
She rubbed Azo’s back, whispering words of encouragement, telling her she could do it and to just let the apple take effect. The antlered woman clenched her eyes shut, clinging to her piglin baby and mentally begging anything and everything possible in the universe to make it work. It had to, she couldn’t lose Azo to zombification. It wasn’t fair to the child, she didn’t deserve this fate. So Reader wished with all of her being that it would work and everything would be okay.
“Mum… I don’t think it’s working..” Tubbo muttered forlornly.
Reader let out a choked sob, she knew he was right. Nothing was happening. But she felt like if she gave up then she was letting Azo down even more. She’d failed to keep her safe in the Nether and look what happened to her! She was a fucking zombie! Reader was a failure of a mother! She couldn’t give up! So in a wild frenzy she practically yanked her inventory open, just looking for something, ANYTHING! Her weapons, her various gold trinkets, other random shit she tossed in there without a care. Nothing that would help- huh?
“The orange?” She said in a teary tone.
At this point she was beyond desperate to help her child so she took a crafting table out and figured that if she didn’t try every option then she didn’t really want Azo healed so she was trying EVERYTHING. In record time she’d surrounded the orange with gold ingots before hesitating, not sure if she should use ingots or gold blocks or neither at all. Worried now she started frantically peeling the orange until she was left with 8 individual orange segments. She would try each of them on Azo one at a time to ensure she doesn’t waste the one orange. So normal orange first. She slips one of the segments into the piglings mouth, smiling as she chews.
“Wait, is that an orange?-” Tubbo started to ask.
But just as he said this Reader felt like someone stole the breath from her lungs, because Azo’s body started to convulse while she let out little soft snorts. Reader took in a stuttered breath while looking down at her smallest child. Azo looked up at her, face still blank but the shaking was a sign that it was working! She might not even need the rest of the orange! Reader could feel her heart beating so fast she’s shocked she didn’t feel ill from it. But then of course she was hardly giving it any mind, far too zeroed in on her child’s physical state to even think of her own.
All they could do was sit there in stunned silence as Azo quivered under their scrutiny, not that she was aware enough to be bothered by it.
*sssshhhwwhooosh* “HEY HEY! What the fuck is goin on?! Tubbo what was with that ominous as fuck message-.. oh shit..” It was Tommy.
He’d just rushed through the Nether portal, looking mostly angry, but with that hint of worry, before catching sight of Tubbo and Reader and demanding to know what the hell was going on.. but then he saw Azo. In the Overworld. Yeah so it was clear what was wrong..
Tommy started panicking, seeing Azo shaking in the Overworld and fucking zombified. Tubbo grabbed his arm and shushed him, ignoring Tommy’s anger at being shushed when something like this was happening before he began to fill him in on what was going on while Reader gently ran her hand down the soft hair on Azo’s head, not knowing what else to do right now besides attempting to soothe the pigling. While her two other children talked in hushed whispers behind her she was mentally chanting ‘please’ over and over again, praying to the universe that this would work and Azo would go back to normal and make it through this.
Reader couldn’t even bear to open her eyes at first when Azo stopped shaking, too scared to look down and see her baby still rotting away slowly. But the surprised but happy gasps from the two boys behind her gave her enough hope to pull back enough to look down. And she felt tears well in her eyes at the sight of Azo all healed and no longer zombified. She went to pull her small child into another happier hug but stopped when Azo made a soft snort of worry. Reader paused and asked her if she was okay, mentally starting to panic, thinking she was about to re-zombify again. But Azo pushed herself away from Reader until the antlered woman let her go.
Azo timidly took a few steps away from the three, looking anxious… like she’d never met them before..
“Kiddo, what’s wrong? You still feel sick?” Tubbo asked with a tense frown.
Azo didn’t answer him, just stared like she was too shy to reply. So Tommy chimed in and asked if she was alright, even calling her ‘Azzy’ like he did sometimes when he was feeling more brotherly than usual. This seemed to catch Azo’s attention but now she just looked confused. Reader felt a dark pit forming in her stomach and she kneeled down and spoke directly to Azo,
“Azogamay. Do you know who we are?”
This time Azo visibly perked up, her ears twitching at the sound of Reader saying her actual full name. The white eyed child glanced between the two boys and Reader before gingerly shaking her head ‘no’. Reader felt like she’d been kicked in the chest by a ravager. She wanted to cry, to scream, anything to help her not feel so hollow all of a sudden. She knew from her ‘past life’ knowledge that the only way to ‘reset’ a villager with a profession was to zombify them, heal them, and then give them a new profession. Dying, even briefly, made them forget what and who they knew.. But she stupidly hadn’t thought that would apply to Azo. But that was probably just her foolish hopes speaking.
Reader couldn’t help how she fell back onto her behind and just… started crying. Her baby had forgotten her.
-0-
Tommy and Tubbo were at a loss. They’d never seen Reader cry, hell they’d never seen her this upset ever. But.. if Azo had really forgotten them then they knew Reader had a reason to cry. They didn’t want to admit it but they would probably cry if Reader suddenly forgot who they were and that she was their mum.. And when Tubbo looked at Azo he saw her looking at Reader sadly, apparently not liking how she was crying. That was a good sign at least. So Tubbo blinked back his own tears and pulled a gold ingot from his inventory and held it out to the small pigling. She blinked at him before quietly taking it from him. Then he gestured for Tommy to do the same, snapping the blond boy into action. Soon Azo had two ingots and looked a lot less tense.
Tubbo sat next to Reader and rubbed her back while Tommy went and sat on her other side before gesturing for Azo to come sit in front of them. She did, gold clutched to her chest and not feeling scared anymore, now only feeling curious and sad for the tall lady in front of her that felt a bit familiar.
“Azo, this is your mum, and she’s ours too. You’re our sister!” Tommy explained with a grin that had the pigling’s head tilting in curiosity.
The two explained everything to Azo while Reader softly cried herself out. The whole afternoon had been one emotional gut punch after another and she was feeling more than a little exhausted from it. But after she calmed down she did feel better, which was one good thing she supposed. But she felt a little bad for breaking down like that in front of her kids, she shouldn’t place the burden of consoling her onto their shoulders. So without thinking she untied her mask and took it off to wipe her face clean, missing how her sons’ eyebrows shot up seeing her do this. And when she opened her eyes they couldn’t hold back the flinch of surprise they gave to the glowing white orbs.
But Azo seemed to like them, they were the same color as hers! So she scooted closer and gave little snorts of happiness, which made Reader smile in return. But then she sighed and she told Azo that what her brothers said was true, she’d adopted all of them even if she couldn’t remember any of it. She told Azo all about the house she’d built for her in the Nether to keep her safe and how she came and visited her every day with Tommy and Tubbo, making them all food and playing with her when she wasn’t working. Azo didn’t seem distrustful anymore but Reader wasn’t sure she believed them, but then the antlered woman remembered something she had saved. With a gasp she pulled out her ender chest and happily told Azo she’d saved all the pretty pictures she’d drawn for Reader.
When she pulled out the stack of colorfully decorated paper Azo’s tail swished back and forth happily. So many were things from the Nether. Fire, netherrack, piglins, blazes, fungus, gold, and more. Then there were some things from the Overworld that the three had given to Azo; like potted flowers, amethyst gems, a jack o’ lantern, and other stuff. But Reader’s absolute favorites were the ones Azo drew of her, Reader, Tommy, and Tubbo all together. She showed these to Azo with tears in her eyes and a loving smile on her face, so motherly that Azo couldn’t help but feel loved. The little pigling might not really remember these three but they clearly remember and love her. Which was… odd, but also nice. She feels bad she can’t remember but she likes these Overworlders so she’d like to stick with them. So with a happy snort she stands up and takes Reader’s hand and says,
“Amamay!”
Reader wanted to cry all over again but held herself back and grasped Azo’s hand back gently and agreed with her, saying,
“Yeah sweetie, I’m your amamay! And these are your brothers, Tommy and Tubbo!”
Azo waved at the two, then said their names in Piglin speak, which was basically just Ubbotay and Ommytay, which sounded sorta cool but still goofy to them but they were just happy Azo was seemingly slowly starting to come around. It wasn’t back to how things were originally but.. it was better than her being a mindless zombie. So Reader rubbed her thumb over the back of Azo’s little hand and said with as much love as she could muster,
“Azogamay, I know you don’t remember us right now. But we promise to love you no matter what. If you someday get your memories back we’ll be so happy!”
Azo let Reader pull her into a hug as she continued speaking,
“But even if you don’t… I’ll still be your amamay and they’ll still be your otherbrays. Maybe we can make lots of new memories together, as a family. How’s that sound?”
All Reader got in reply was a hug from the little pigling, and she supposed that was as good an answer as any. And with no hesitation the eldest of the four pulled the two boys into the hug with them, saying that no matter what now they were going to stick together since it seems that since being healed Azo had no problem in the overworld. The boys asked her if she wanted to come live with them, saying they could take her fishing, show her the markets, introduce her to Henry the cow, all their friends, and more! Azo seemed pretty excited so Reader stepped in and said if Azo wanted they could make her a room in her house, but only if she wanted of course. And in her excitement Azo agreed easily. Living in the Overworld sounded fun!
With that settled Reader sat Azo down on the ground between Tubbo and Tommy and with a much happier smile pulled some paper and crayons she made from her inventory and told the two boys to keep an eye on Azo while she went into the nether to grab Azo’s stuff from her house, then they could all go back to L’manberg together. They agreed and waved Reader off when she warned them to keep an eye out for mobs but then she put her mask back on, almost forgetting it, and hopped through the portal. Once through her smile fell and a scowl overtook her features as she looked around at the damage she’d missed before, the craters from what she was guessing were ghasts. But she wasn’t here for that, she was here for information.
She started questioning all the piglins in the surrounding area, asking them if they’d seen anything odd that day involving the pigling that’d gone through the portal. A couple of them weren’t sure but one did and called over two others from further away and the trio started filling Reader in on what they’d seen that day. About how a human had kidnapped one of their young and they’d all given chase but he’d been fast while only one of them had been wielding a crossbow. And when they finally caught up with him he’d run with her through the portal, and they shamefully admitted to losing sight of them after that since they couldn’t follow them through. They’d said a prayer for the child but chalked her up to being dead, which was a fair guess on their parts to be honest since she had ‘technically’ died.
But she needed more information. She asked them if they remembered what the human looked like. What color was his skin, his hair, clothes, anything to give her a hint on who he was. None of them got a good look at him from the front, since he was running away from them and all. But they did manage to notice a few distinguishing things about him…
Like his wavy dark hair.
His dark pants and long. Brown. Coat.
The hat he wore that was almost the same color as the netherrack around them.
And the funny little patch. On his shoulder.
Reader felt her eyes narrow behind her mask and with a blank expression she pulled out some paper and drew a little L’manberg flag, internally seething when the Piglins all snorted in confirmation that, yes, that had been the patch on the man’s sleeve. Reader crushed the paper in her hands before tossing it into the nearby lava to burn away. The sound of her grinding her teeth together in silent rage made the piglins’ ears flatten in displeasure. But they said nothing, not wanting to aggravate an already furious looking ‘sow’. It didn’t take a genius to figure out that the child that had been taken was her’s. So it was best to just answer her questions and stay out of her way. So they just nodded when she gave them a tense but grateful smile and excused herself. She really did have to go get Azo’s things since the pigling was going to be living with her and the boys now.
But as she did she felt her rage festering inside her. That little bastard, it was his fault Azo had fucking died. She almost lost her child because of him, it was only by pure chance they’d managed to save her. Reader never wanted to hurt someone quite as badly as she wanted to hurt Wilbur at that exact moment. Just snap his little bastard neck and toss his worthless body into a lava pool, no fuss no muss. But… she couldn’t. She wasn’t some psycho killer who snaps the spine of anyone who wrongs her. ..Even if they deserve it. She needed to talk to Wilbur first, get his side of things. There’s a chance, small as it is, that the piglins saw someone else who looked like Wilbur. Sadly Wilbur wasn’t the only white boy with dark hair on this server, so she has a duty to do some kind of investigation.
As she decided this she made her way back to the portal, Azo’s belongings tucked away in her inventory. She needed to remain calm, cool, and collected. She would peacefully message Wilbur saying she needed to have a meeting with him, question him on his whereabouts for the day, and if he was suspicious it would lead to an arrest for child endangerment and kidnapping. It would be handled professionally.
..Brown.
Over to the left, at the edge of the crater she’d passed on her way in was a splotch of brown amidst the sea of sangria colored soil around her. Her eyes narrowed and she paused before going to see what it was, the white hot anger she’d managed to cool earlier now beginning to heat up again. And when she got closer and reached down to pick up the offending material, which turned out to be a small strip of dirty brown leather. One she’d fucking know anywhere. It was a part of that god awful fucking coat of WIlbur’s. She’d bet anything on it. She clenched her teeth together, milling them together and wanting so badly to just tear them into something, just bite something so hard. She needed to talk to WIlbur. Now. So with an inhuman speed she opened her communicator and started typing…
-0-
Back at the ravine the two defectors stared down at their respective communicators in silence, the air around them feeling almost stagnant from the tense feeling that was settling into both of their bones. Schlatt narrowed his eyes, his ears dipping down as anxiety buzzed around in his head, he needed a drink. While Wilbur felt his mouth suddenly increase its saliva, causing him to hurry and swallow before he stiffly cleared his throat and opened his mouth to say something to clear the air but… nothing came out. Schlatt ended up being the one to cut through the strained atmosphere,
“I’m gonna hazard a guess that… someone may have seen you after all..”
That was pretty fucking obvious by this point, at least if the string of messages from Reader were to be any indication..
Reader: Wilbur
Reader: wilbur I need to talk to you
Reader: now. message me right now.
Reader: where are you?
Reader: wilbur soot message me right fucking now.
Reader: wilbur I know what you did. I know you were here in the nether.
Reader: im going to come find you.
How they started normal, but slowly became more and more threatening sent chills along the ex-presidents spine. Despite being quite sure he could take the behemoth in a fight he still felt… anxious with how aggressive her messages had gotten. Wilbur swallowed again, not sure if he was trying to swallow the surplus of his saliva or his own mounting alarm. But either way he thinks they’re going to be needing backup asap. So he pulled out his crafting table and penned a quick but straightforward note before tucking it into an envelope and sealing it with twine. Schlatt watched over his shoulder as the brunet wrote the name of the future recipient across the back before sending it off,
‘Technoblade’
Welcome to the Overworld
Part 1 | Part 2 | Part 3 | Part 4 | Part 5 | Part 6 | Part ?
Summery: After spending his first night in the Overworld you decide to help Techno become more familiar with his new surroundings and meet some new friends…
Characters: Techno x Reader (feat. Phil, Kristen and Wilbur)
Relationship: platonic/parental
Pronouns: unspecified/kept neutral
With a yawn you slowly open your eyes to see the first light of dawn peeking through the window. You sigh, despite having such an eventful day yesterday your internal clock refused to give you even just an extra hour of sleep, oh well, you had a lot to do today anyways. You take a small glance down at Techno who was still curled up next to you sound asleep, poor kid must’ve been so exhausted. Slowly you shift yourself and get out of bed as to not disturb said sleeping child and make your way down to the kitchen to make a simple breakfast of eggs and toast. You’ve well finished your food by the time you hear footsteps patter down the hall, looking over to see Techno peek his head in the doorway.
“Morning.” You greet with a soft smile. “Come on in and take a seat, I’ve already got a plate ready for you.” He looks at you a second and blinks before waddling over and climbing onto a chair to sit. You hand him his food and watch as he pokes at it curiously. “I know it’s not as extravagant as dinner was yesterday, but it should help you through till lunch.” You say as you pull up your inventory and go through a checklist of what you need for the day. Your focus on the checklist is broken by a tug at your leg, looking down at the cutest little wide eyed stare Techno had while holding up his empty plate for you. Letting out an amused hum you take the plate and set it onto the counter to get washed later, having a lot to do today and also because you were a bit lazy to do it right away (mood).
“Hey Techno?” You call for his attention as you make you way to the front door. “I’m going to have to ask you to shift your appearance for me okay?” The piglin tilts his head in confusion, you sigh and run a hand through your hair. “Don’t get me wrong, I know your used to looking like a regular piglin most of the time, but… well… remember when I said piglins bodies can’t handle the sudden shift from the Nether to the Overworld?” He nods, waiting for you to continue. “I did mean that. Now since you are a hybrid you have a sorta… immunity to those effects, but it will be extremely suspicious if people saw a regular piglin walking around. I don’t think either of us want to draw that much attention, do you understand what I’m getting at?” He nods again and like last time, after a moment of focus and a puff of smoke, Techno looks like a regular kid again. “Awesome.” You smile picking him up. “Now we’re ready to go. I’ve got some trustworthy friends I’d like you to meet.” With that you exit your home and set off.
You take your time on the walk letting Techno really take in the view of the outside, chuckling to yourself at how awed he was to how different the world looked during the day compared to last night. Soon enough your destination comes into view and you give a loud knock on the door once you reach it. The sound of shuffling can be heard inside and you feel Techno squirm a little anxiously in your grip.
“Hey, it’s alright.” You say softly to help calm him down. “I’ve known these people for years, I’d trust them with my life, so you can too.” He looks at you curiously for a second before relaxing a little more. The door opens and you smile happily at your old friend. “Mornin’ Phil.”
“(Y/n)! You had me a little worried when you didn’t show up yesterday.” Phil says surprised but happy to see you.
“Yeah,” you chuckle. “I got a bit sidetracked on the way home.” Phil raises a questioning eyebrow at you, you chuckle again then clear your throat as you gesture to the child in your arms, Phil’s eyes widening in shock. “So… may we come in?” You ask, Phil immediately stepping away and closing the door once you’re inside.
“What’s all the racket? (Y/n)! Your back!” Wilbur bounds up to you eagerly and gives you a welcoming hug, you smile and give him a pat on the head in return. A small growl comes from Techno, you look over to see him glaring daggers at Wilbur, who doesn’t seem to pay mind to the stares. “Who’s this? Are they a new friend? What’s your name? Where you from?”
“Whoa! Slow down a little.” You calm the bouncing child and set Techno down, who immediately backs away when Wilbur gets too close for his comfort. “Wilbur this is Techno. Right now I’d like for you to take things a little slower for him, okay? He’s still learning how to… uhhh, people.” You explain as simply as possible.
“Okay! I can go slow.” Wilbur nods in understanding. You’re about to direct your attention back to Phil when you remember one of the big reasons you came over.
“Oh that’s right! I do have one more special request of you.” You kneel down to match his height, Wilbur leaning in closer. “I was wondering if you had any spare cloths you wouldn’t mind letting Techno use.”
“I don’t mind at all, let’s go have a look.” He turns and looks expectantly at Techno. “Come on! You can model some outfits in my room.” Wilbur beams. Techno looks to you uncertain, you hum in amusement.
“It’s alright, you go ahead. I’ll be waiting for you down here once you’re done.” You reassure. He gives a soft nod before squealing in shock when Wilbur practically drags him upstairs, past a surprised Kristen, so much for being slow.
“Who was that with Wilbur?” She asks, making her way over to you and Phil.
“That’s Technoblade, but please just call him Techno for short.” You say. “And might I add, you look stunning this morning, my lady, absolutely glowing.” You give her a bow earning a chuckle from the woman.
“Why thank you. It’s always so lovely to see you too.” She giggles and does a small curtsy back.
“Please stop trying to flirt with my wife.” Phil deadpans.
“Oh come on Phil you don’t have to be left out on this action, I can flirt with you too if you want.” You playfully tease, he lightly shoves you in retaliation. The three of you take a seat in the living room while you finally hand over the few items you had promised Phil, it’s not long before you’re asked a question you’ve been anticipating.
“So…” Phil trails off a little, looking for the right words. “How did you find Techno?”
“It was more like he found me. I was making my way home when I heard someone following me and…” You go on to explain everything that happened in the short time you’ve had Techno in care.
“You really think it was hunters?” Kristen questions.
“Who else could it be? He was all alone, we know piglins live in large groups and they defiantly don’t just abandon their children. Not to mention he looked in far worse condition then a child has any right to be when I brought him home.” You explain, Kristen nods in understanding and Phil lets out a sigh, about to say something when Wilbur comes racing down the stairs.
“If I can have everyone’s attention!” He calls, the three of you looking over to him, his smile widening. “Presenting Techno!” He gestures over and you all wait as nothing happens. “Hey! That’s your cue!” Wilbur huffs, muffled grunts of displeasure are heard just out of view.
“How about you stay over there and I come have a look myself.” You suggest, starting to stand.
“No! It’s supposed to be a grand reveal!” Wilbur whines.
“Remember what I said earlier before you rushed off?” You question, he looks at you curiously. You try to hold in your laughter as you continue. “I told you, Techno’s still learning about the Overworld and people. You have to take things a little slower for him right now, he might just be nervous.” You walk up to the bottom step and lean against the railing.
“Oh…” Wilbur deflates a little. “Sorry, I was just so excited to have a new friend.” He mutters, you ruffle his hair reassuringly.
“No worries, now you know for next time.” You smile, he gives a small smile back before letting you walk up the stairs. It doesn’t take much searching to find Techno sitting against a wall, as you suspected he looked a little nervous. “Hey kiddo.” You say soothingly, gaining his attention he immediately perks up a bit. “Hi. Come here, I wanna good look at ya.” You beckon him over. Slowly he stands, taking a second to shuffle in place before walking closer. You glance over to see the rags he once called cloths had been thrown into a wastebasket before looking back to see him wearing a simple white dress shirt and black sweats. For as simple as it was, it was very fitting for him. “You look great!” You beam, a happy oink is your response, you make a mental note to help work on his speech later. You offer your hand to him and when he takes it you both walk back downstairs where the others are waiting.
“Yay! Now you guys get to see too.” Wilbur says to his parents.
“It looks very nice.” Kristen compliments, Techno hides a bit behind your leg to mask the embarrassed blush on his face, she chuckles softly at this.
“I was hoping he’d wear the same thing as me so we could look like twins, but he liked this one better.” Wilbur huffs a little.
“Well, I thank you very much for helping out. I think you deserve a gift for that.” You smirk, Wilbur practically starts vibrating in excitement. The grip on your leg tightens, seeing Techno hold a small glare again. “Don’t worry, I have something in mind for you when we get home.” You whisper to him, calming the hybrid down. You turn back to Wilbur and kneel down, holding out a closed fist, he stares with wide eyes, waiting for the big reveal. Opening your hand you summon a goats horn from your inventory.
“Whoa! Was this from one of your adventures?” Wilbur asks, taking the item and flips it around in his hands over and over.
“You bet it is. It makes a very interesting sound if you blow in it. I figured since you like music and all that sorta stuff it’d be perfect.”
“Thanks (y/n)! You’re the best!” Wilbur then immediately blows into the horn, the sound ringing throughout the house, making you instantly regret giving it to him.
“Yeah… thanks (y/n). Can’t wait to deal with that.” Phil softly glares, rubbing his temples. You scratch the back of your neck with an awkwardly chuckle, avoiding his eye contact.
“I think now’s a good time we take our leave.” You turn and take Techno’s hand again. “It’s been fun, great catching up with you guys. I’ll see you guys Thursday.” You say as you exit the abode, a sigh of relief leaving you as you do. You can still hear Wilbur playing with his new item, though the sounds a slightly more muffled outside, he’d get tired of it within the week, you were sure of that much. A tug on your hand pulls you from your thoughts, looking down at an expectant Techno.
“I don’t have any goat horns for you.” You start, he scrunches up his face and shakes his head, you being glad that’s not what he wanted. “Alright, we really need to work on your English. Not that it isn’t fun trying to interpret piglin speech and all but if you’re gonna be living with me, you need to know the language.” Techno nods in understanding but continues to keep your attention, this time pointing to his mouth. “Oh, you’re hungry?” Another nod. “Alright, we can make lunch that first once we get home.” With that you let him wander around you as you both journey home, too wrapped up in this moment for you to notice the pair of dark, sceptical eyes watching Techno closely…
This took awhile to finish, but I’m proud 😃
You didn't have any special powers, other than your enchanting fire wings, but if you ever were killed you'd be turned into ashes before rising again
You were also immortal
People always questioned why you were a hybrid and he wasn't
But you two kept your family matters private to everyone else
Being the younger sibling of Dream came with it's perks
You were far more approachable then your brother so people instantly took a liking to you
And Dream spared you from all his plans, which you knew about but decided to not get involved into
What Dream didn't expect tho was for his own sibling to fall for his rival, Technoblade
You had subconsciously started talking Dream's ear off about all of the piglin's accomplishments and how cool he was and how skilled he was and-
After a while he got tired of you talking and introduced you to the Blood God himself
This was totally not a way for him to also check if Tommy was hiding with Techno or not
You were also the total opposite of your brother, Dream
Techno secretly took a liking to you, to him you were like a breath of fresh air
You wanted to get to know him not for selfish reasons or war, but just because you were curious about him
More friendly, more open, more honest
And you actually had a house lmao-
A few months later, after getting a LONG ted talk from the masked man himself, he actually got the go to ask you out
To which you agreed immediately
"What do ya think about this?" Lifting the object in your hand you raised the other to fix the large crown that you had appropriated from your dear mentor. Presenting it to the man who sat at your side, long Infared strands were unbound from the loose braid he often wore, leaving them to wave elegantly with the invisible digits of lady wind to rake through. Technoblade hummed in response as he turned his head to peer at your perched figure whose small round ears flickered in excitement, a few content huffs leaving your nostrils in small puffs of air.
"Hm, I thought you'd have more blue's in there but it's nice, I guess." He shrugged, fixing the hook of his mantle to hang limp on the soft fur that lined the base. He'd caught you a few more times than not, ruffling the soft mane, a childish grin spread across your lips. Despite everything that was happening and what was to come, you never lost those childlike innocents, but he knew under that façade you effortlessly hid behinds, was a killer just like himself. Honestly, the older male saw himself within you, the way your eyes glinted with malice when the mention of blood was brought into a conversation, or when you'd hum content melody's when reading (You caught him a few times doing the same thing). But what struck him the most was your violent urges.
The fur that limned your spine would bristle like a cat frightened out of its wits, top lip pulls into a nasty snarl to reveal your pronged trenchant canines that looked as if they could tare through the roughest of flesh and the strongest of bone. Your padded fingers would shift and contort as your dull talons soon grew blunted and keen at the tip-
It was honestly terrifying when he witnessed your full rage.
Blood caked your snout, painting your teeth a spoiled scarlet that dripped from your chin like thinned cheese, affixes knuckle deep in the beast's carcass that lay limp at your feet.
The Ravager had gored its pronged horn in the flesh of your side that was revealed from between the plates of your netherite armor which ended up puncturing your ribs quite bad-
"You look weird without your crown on," tilting your head to slide the said object from atop your dome shifted, resting against the cartilage of your rounded ear. Technoblade rolled his vermillion hues before shaking his head. "Well, I wouldn't look weird if you'd stop taking it." He barked.
Your brows furrowed slightly at his words, Technoblade, your dear mentor was gifted with a monotone voice, which also meant that at times you couldn't completely compute what emotions he was expressing, if it was any at all.
"Well, Mr. I'm-gonna-be-bitchy-over-a-crown; I wanted to do something." Standing from your spot you turned to him. Turning away he again shook his head.
"I'm not 'bitching' over the crown, it's just that you've got one hell of a pair of butter finger-" His words died on his tongue as a sudden weight atop his head became known. His body turned jagged as you fixed a few silk petals to sit on his hair better. With a nod of approval, you strode away to gather another bundle of long-stemmed flowers.
The blonde stood atop his windowsill; mangled wings pressed tight to the little of his back that ached slightly as he gripped at the windows wooden edge, his ankle sizzled with a small volt of electricity, but his mind wasn't focased on the device that kept him bound to the home to which he resides, but his attention was dead struck on the group. There, being pulled along the wooden oak path, was them.
"You actually got them..."
Technoblade's piglin ears perked at the sound of his friend's voice, desperation sheeting his crimson eyes as he cried out defenselessly. "Phil- PHIL, WHAT DID THEY DO TO YOU!?" But as he turned to face the Elytrian a harsh shove jerked his torso, a sign from the battalion to keep moving, and he did, biting the flesh of his lip till a coppery taste painted his tongue but his words still cut through the air. "You guys leave Phil alone, leave him alone, you already have (Y/N), leave him alone!"
With that being said, Philza's sapphire hues shone with utmost concern when his eyes lay upon your tattered form, your matted hair, split lip that revealed the now dry gums, a single ear presented with a split that would most likely never heal back together, blackened eye, and bruised form, gods you looked sickly, normally bright (S/T) skin now tainted with a dull grey hue.
Your eyes were cast to the wooden walkway that to you- felt as if it were going to go on forever. Your muscles twinged and bones ached after being forced into the harsh weather of the frigid tundra where Technoblade resigned even though now you weren't as cold as before, but you still you felt as if you were to pass out at any moment when waiting to be revealed to your dear mentor as a 'prize for our hard work.'
throughout the whole boat ride to the man in charge, Quackity, would force a finger under the bear hybrids bruised chin, forcing your exhausted half lidded eyes to look at his own earthly hues that glinted with corrupt. Technoblade, every time would let a guttural- almost protective growl would leave his throat when he watched the man handle your beaten form so carelessly as if you meant nothing, but every time he did, Quackity would snap at him with the point of his diamond axe pointed at the man as he spat threats on how he was going to toss the young teen over the edge and watch them sink helplessly into the inky abys of the ocean.
And with your already dampened mental state you kind of hoped that he would. So that you didn't have to sit, back pressed to the boats wooden walls that rocked, sending waves of nausea to wash over your aching body. You looked absolutely pathetic, once a great fighter akin to their mentor now sat, broken and tattered.
A yelp of pain left your lips as the hilt of an axe dug into the fractured bone of your ribs that had been kicked in by yours truly- Fundy shoved your shoulder harshly only to gain a sympathetic glance from the enderman who strode widely beside the small battalion of men and the two captors.
Finally finding the strength to cast your gaze from the floor you glanced up. Just a few feet away stood a towering machine with an iron bared cage beneath, from the top of the crane, hung an anvil from a rope that began to fray from the objects weight. If you weren't as cotton minded with pain and grogginess the thought of how the hell, they got that heavy ass thing to hang from there without accidentally killing one another. But alas, you were tugged to a nearby seat within the two rows of raised seating accommodations, the fox hybrid tightening his hold against the laceration of your forearm, to which you hissed, stumbling into a corner seat, teethed bared at the burning sensation of his fur tugging at the raw meat of your wound.
To your left, Technoblade was led to a nearby poster located directly in front of the elytrians home. The poster- surprisingly- didn't have the two of you back-to-back, weapons held high as if to strike a fatal blow, but just Technoblade.
With furrowed brows and scrunched nose- it struck you.
There WERE no posers around New L'Manberg that contained your photo. You weren't wanted. You weren't needed. But then why where they doing this you may ask?
You were being used for leverage.
They fucking knew that you were one of the few things that the pink haired shapeshifter cared for, including Philza: Who clung to his windowsill, unfastidious wings ruffled and untidied as he watched with helpless eyes as one of his two closest friends were forced carelessly into the iron caged walls, a sheet of thick glass welded into the front for perfect viewing pleasure.
"Technoblade, if you hadn't noticed, this is not a trial, this is not a trial." Quackity mused as he leaned against the iron bars, the ones that Technoblade clung to with white knuckles.
Anxiety devoured hungrily at the pit of his stomach as Quackity continued with his cocky monologue. "You see down there," the duck pointed in a nearby location as the other of who was encaged, looked. " When we press that lever down there, what that anvil is going to do, is it's going to drop on you, and it's going to fucking kill you!"
The larger hybrids heart thumped against his chest at the sight of the heavy object that dangled from just a single rope that looked to fray at the ends. A part of him wondered how the hell these assholes were able to hoist that thing all the way up there.
"But!-" Technoblade looked back at Quackity.
"You're not going alone you see, right there next to you?" He turned, glancing towards the large pole with a decent sizzled platform that elevated the bottom. "Fundy, will you be a king an bring them here for me?" Quackity's voice dripped with honey flavored venom.
Maybe you were wrong, maybe they really were going to kill you.
Fundy, the grandson of Philza Minecraft grinned wickedly as his grip again turned taut, almost bruising, before yanking your stumbling figure along the path, towards the stand where Technoblade was being held.
A harsh shove sent you stumbling, knees hitting the hard wood with a harsh thud. Fundy's hand was then replaced by another, a bit more calloused and firmer than the foxes. "Thank you, Fundy, now, go and enjoy the show huh?"
With a curt nod, the male cast a weary glance towards the encaged piglin who's eyes never left the pathetic looking figure. "Quackity, what- what are you doing with them? They had nothing to do with my actions! Leave them alone!"
"Oh no, no, no, Technoblade, you are not sweet talking your apprentice out of this, they strictly helped you destroy the very foundation we stand on today! Just like we did theirs! BLOWN TO PEICES!" He shouted the last part, yanking the rope that now bound your hands assisted by the copper cuffs that kept you from shifting, a handy cap of sorts.
You were too weak to even struggle.
Quackity dropped from the stands surface, not even bothering to use the stairs that were directly next to him, his wings flapping, an attempt to slow his fall before his netherite boots hit the wooden floor with a clunk. "Neither of you are getting out of this alone, even if it kills me." He hissed, continueing. "Now, you must be wondering what this is yes?" The man crouched next to the lever that would soon bring the blades impending doom, his earthy eyes glinting with malicious intent as he lifted the weapons form their spots, tossing one to his fellow hybrid, Fundy.
In their hands sat two cross bows, both loaded with arrow tipped fireworks. An idea cheekily crafted by Quackity himself after remembering the young presidents unfortunate demise to the same weapon.
It made Tubbo shudder seeing that again.
You just stood; knees buckled towards each other, breathing heavily, so hard that it felt like a wheeze.
It broke Techno's heart seeing you like this, all tattered in worn because you inderstood his intentions unlike most others. All because you wanted to destroy the very thing that drove his brother and your best friend off his rocker.
This corrupt ass government that held one of the youngest members of the SMP and the most feared Anarchist to await their doom.
"I'm sure you recognize these baby's, yeah? I got them from your houses after we caught you!" He chirped happily. "But enough of this, Tubbo, can you please do the honors of explaining to our whole and entire team, of what's going on here?"
With a nod and hum the boy glanced back towards the two exclusionists. Technoblade's lips pulled into a hateful snarl, and (Y/n) who lifted their head to rest against the pole's stature.
His voice wavered. "Technoblade and (Y/n) have robbed this country, of everything that made it special. Of everything that defined what it was. The two stepped in when they shouldn't have-"
The ram hybrid's voice faded into nothing, but murmurs as (Y/n) lifted their head, swollen eye peering at their mentor.
"Techno?"
He turned with the snap of his head, boar ears perking at the sound of their hoarse voice, despite its roughness it was still music to his ears.
"Yes Artemis?"
"Thank you."
This took the man by surprise, no one ever really thanked him, genuinely at least. Other eyes when thanking him of his helping hand had a thin sheen of light in their eyes, just as they were made to be. But theirs shown absolute sincerity, that blanket of light that enveloped their swollen eyes as tears gathered at the ducts. "Thank you for everything. For being a shoulder to lean on, for helping me when I was at my lowest."
The tears began to flow down the bear's face. "Hey, we're gonna get out of this, I promise."
(Y/n) shook their head.
Chaos ensued beyond the heartfelt conversation between the two that seemed oblivious. "No, no I'm not, I'm at least 74 percent sure that I won't make it, but you still have two lives to waste. I'll be nothing but dust."
"AIM, AIM YOU SON OF A BITCH!"
"PULL THE LEVER BIG Q, PULL THE LEVER!"
A shadow cast over the pinettes head as (Y/n) pulled their shoulders to their ears, the tip of the arrow tipped firework approaching rapidly.
"But most of all, thank you for being the dad I never knew I needed."
(Y/n) went out with a bang of color
Technoblade has reached the goal [Postmortal]
