Imagine Regulus and Sirius competing together at the triwizard tournament. When Sirius goes underwater, he sees attached to the bottom are both Remus AND James. He doesn't know who to save and has a whole crisis underwater CRYING because they are his chosen family, and he can't save both of them
Suddenly Regulus appears and without having a second thought nor saying anything to Sirius, he takes James arm from his arm and SMIRKS AT HIM before swimming up
They had a fight while they were all shivering and frozen because of the cold water, everyone staring at them
Fragments:
Pt1, Pt2

Charlie, a class on driver’s safety for reasons: Okay, you're driving and Angel and Niffty walk into the road. Quick, what do you hit?
Sir Pentious: Oh, definitely Angel. I could never hurt Niffty!
Angel, having no regard for his safety: Yeah, you don’t even hafta ask.
Sir Pentious: I’m willing to hit myself too if it keeps Niffty safe!
Charlie: *concerned about her friends complete lack of self preservation*
Vaggie, massaging her temples: The brakes, bobos. You hit the brakes.
Niffty: *in the background sad that they won’t hit her with a vehicle*

These hands that are yours. They ache
To dig into your flesh
And open each blue vein
To hear your murmuring blood.
