“Dad,” you groaned as he tugged you along through the parking lot. “Oh my God. Dad.”

“Am I embarrassing you?” he teased. “Come on, you used to love tailgating the games last year.”

“Well now I actually go to this college so you know, odds are I see someone I know,” you said.

“You want to sneak a beer while mom’s not looking or not?” he asked.

“Oh mom doesn’t care,” you said. “She says don’t be a dumbass is all.”

“Y/N.”

“I’ll be on as good of a behavior as you are,” you said with a smile.

“Had to be a little smartie,” he mumbled, throwing his arm around you, pulling you into a noogie.

“Dad.”

“There’s some cute boys over there. Want me to say hi?” he laughed.

“I will murder you,” you said, your dad chuckling as he stopped at the back of the Ackles’ truck.

“Who we murdering?” asked Jensen, sipping on his beer from his lawn chair.

“Father. Potentially,” you said.

“You just let me know when and where, kiddo,” said Jensen.

“Dude,” said your dad, taking a beer out of the cooler.

“Eh, I’m joking. Mostly,” said Jensen, your dad rolling his eyes as he handed you a beer. “Oh. Look at the rebel.”

“Uncle Jay,” you said. “You literally gave me my first-“

“Ahhhhhh,” he said, Jared crossing his arms and raising an eyebrow. “Your child is delusional.”

“Well I knew that,” said your dad, digging through the back of the truck and tossing some sunscreen at you.

“Dad.”

“Don’t complain when you get a sunburn then,” he said.

You groaned as he smirked, heading over to the grill close by.

“You do burn pretty easy, kiddo,” said Jensen.

“I know, I know,” you said, rubbing some cream into your skin. He stood up and got the back of your neck and shoulders where you’d missed a few spots. “Where are the kids?”

“Bathroom trip. You know that guy over there is checking you out,” he said.

“No he isn’t,” you said, cracking open your beer. You took a sip, Jensen chuckling as he walked over towards the grill. “Tell dad I want a hotdog please.”

“Mhm,” he said.

You felt a poke on your shoulder and you spun around, staring straight at Billy Dalton’s bare chest.

“Hey, Padalecki,” he said with a smirk. 

“Hi,” you said, forcing your head to stay up and not at his shirtless chest. 

“You mind if I borrow some of that sunscreen?” he asked.

“Sure,” you said, handing over the tube.

“Thanks. I didn’t think you were much into football,” he said.

“My family’s always been super into UT football since we moved here,” you said.

“I thought you were local,” he said.

“I had an untraditional childhood,” you said with a smile. “But I’ve been here since middle school.”

“Me too. I was always too tiny to play football at my school if you can believe it,” he said.

“Really? I totally thought you were a jock...and that sounded so bad.”

“It’s cool, Padalecki. I played baseball and I got a 4 on my AP English test. Complete package right here,” he said.

“Seriously? No one in my school scored a 4,” you said.

“Life was very interesting being the dorky cool guy,” he said. “Trying to leave that behind now that we’re in college and all that.”

“You’re an English major, right?”

“Education. I’d like to be an English teacher though,” he said.

“My grandma was an English teacher,” you said.

“Seriously? That’s awesome,” he said. 

“Hey, Y/N,” said your dad, wandering over with a smile and a hot dog for you. “Who’s your friend?”

“This is Billy. He’s in my English 203 class,” you said.

“203, huh. You must be a reader then,” said your dad.

“Mhm,” you said, your dad still smiling at you. “Thanks.”

“Hey Billy. How old are you?” he asked.

“Twenty.”

“Twenty and you’re a freshman?” asked your dad.

“I had to take a year off after high school. My dad was in a bad car accident over that Fourth of July that year. I stuck around home to help out,” he said.

“Well that’s a very selfless thing to do,” he said with a nod. “Y/N, you can go hang out with your friends if you want.”

“Mhm,” you said as he walked away. “Sorry about him. He likes to you know, be a dad and harass his children.”

“That’s cool. Mine’s the same way. Thanks for the sunscreen, Padalecki,” he said as he turned to go. “You uh, want to grab lunch after class Monday?”

“Sure.”

“Cool. See ya, Padalecki,” he said. You smiled and turned around, your dad and Jensen sipping on a beer at the back of the truck with shit eating grins. “What?”

“I smell a boyfriend incoming,” said Jensen.

“She knows what she’s doing,” said your dad with a smirk.

“I will tell mom and Aunt De what you two got up to last weekend unless we never discuss this again,” you said.

“How is she so scary for being so tiny,” said Jensen.

“I learned if from you two,” you laughed, throwing your head back. “Shit, I forgot to get the sunscreen back.”

“Take it from two previously twenty year old boys. He kept it on purpose,” said your dad.

“When was that? 300 B.C.?” you asked.

“Why don’t you go get back my sunscreen or I’ll tell your parents what you got up to last night,” said Jensen with a smirk.

“I thought you were staying over your friend Sara’s,” said your dad. 

“Of course I did,” you said, shooting Jensen a look. He sipped on his beer and smiled. 

“Oh yeah. Of course she did,” he said, knowing very well you called him and asked him for a ride and to crash in their guest room when you partied a little too hard the night before.

“I hate you both,” you groaned as you headed back towards where Billy was with his friends.

“Love you too, kiddo. Now hurry up. Game starts soon.”

What characters lore do you think was handled poorly? I'm curious since I saw some people saying that Scara and Collei were handled very poorly, with some people saying that having Scara erase himself from Irminsul was poor writing and basically brushed away any consequences for his actions while for Collei they had apparently kept her out of the plot due to her disability and then wrote out her disability?

I am unable to play the game myself so that's why I wrote apparently there, sorry ,:] but anyways, I hope you have a good day/night whenever you read this!

and keep in mind that what you've read is only other ppl's personal opinions. naturally, it follows that what i'm about to say is also my personal opinion.

personal background-wise, i think all characters' personalities fit their respective backgrounds! i think it's really up to the players which character stories they enjoyed the most

for the general plot, i think the inazuma archon quest was handled poorly; i've heard that hoyo has different teams work on different nations, so if that's true, i can only say that the inazuma team shouldn't have tried to do too much in too little time ://

i actually didn't find much wrong with the story of scara's interlude quest, but instead, what i found concerning was the implication that the world might be a lot more unreliable than we thought. who knows who else might have tampered with it? who knows what other things might have happened that we don't know about because no one can remember (other than the descenders)?

as for collei, i think it's less about the disability/chronic illness and more about the fact that the dendro element wasn't ready yet. it was obvious that hoyo intended to cure her anyway, and honestly i don't think it would have been such a big deal if she hadn't appeared in the prequel manga. because of the manga, ppl knew her and expected more appearances, but let's be real, she wasn't a super crucial character to the sumeru archon quest, and she didn't need to appear any more than she did, otherwise it would have distracted from the actual story.

now, something else i have beef with is the last part of the fontaine archon quest. focalors destroys her own seat in rebellion against celestia, but she spent the past several hundred years trying NOT to attract celestia's attention, and suddenly she's over here practically yelling at celestia to look at her? which isn't really consistent with her goals of taking down celestia from the inside out... like celestia def has their eye on teyvat now, so it'd be really hard to make another drastic move. that's smth i find super weird and until it gets explained, i will have beef with it.

hmmm i don't think i have many other complaints. i'm a pretty chill person who turns my brain off whenever i'm not doing academic stuff LOL so i can take a lot of stupidity. but i do remember there was a story quest or some other quest recently in genshin that i thought was pretty dumb. i've heard a lot of ppl complain that the quests are getting more and more heavy-handed and stupid, but like what can you expect from a 12+ game, right?

sorry that this blog is becoming "emily complains about aphelion" but the way i keep struggling with this wip really REALLY makes me think something is just incredibly wrong with it. i've been comparing it to my other wip, suddence, which i DID actually finish, and i think aphelion's just. too Much. too messy.

suddence had a clear throughline, and aphelion did not. the whole middle part of the story is just the characters getting from one place to another. it does not flow. it feels like the story twisting unnaturally to get them where they need to be.

i haven't been considering the themes. i haven't been considering what exactly i wanted to say. (i don't think all stories need to have a Deep Moral Lesson but i do think they need to say Something, even if it's something as simple as "friendship is good")

i think once again i need to figure out my priorities with this wip. i know For Sure what needs to happen and how the story ends, and i think the trick here is to work backwards from there. just sit down and figure it out instead of being wishy washy about it. it's frustrating to keep starting and stopping on this wip. sometimes i think about shelving it and moving on to a different wip. but it's not that i'm not interested in the story anymore. i still am. i still want to share it. it's just. AHHHHHH

Well... - There was a presentation being held for possibly interested post-grad students which he had signed up to see but unfortunately couldn't find his way to the auditorium where it was being held

- And because of that very presentation, your own class was moved to an auditorium you had never been in before, hence why you had no idea where to find it

- During your search for it, you ran into the long haired man who looked just as lost as you felt

- You know it'd be cliché to admit, but the truth is that your heart sped up when he smiled at you after his initial look of indifference

- "You're a student here, right?"

- "Yeah." You answered suspiciously with a nod

- "Ok great, can you tell me where the World Literature 4BF auditorium is?" He asked, reading the marking of the auditorium from the booklet he was given

- You couldn't help but chuckle, "You're all out of luck if you expect me to know where that is. Hell, I don't even know where Science 17SE is and that's where my class is being held as we speak."

- He laughed as did you, "Seems like you're way more fucked than I am." He commented, trailing off for a second before speaking up again, "You wanna go on a scavenger hunting for your class then?"

- "But what about you? Don't you need to find yours too?" You asked, ready to turn down his offer

- "Nah, I'm not going to class. I was gonna attend the post-grad presentation and shit but I'm starting to second guess if I even want that. College fucked me up enough already, I don't need to go through another hellhole anytime soon." He chuckled, running a hand through his hair before readjusting his cap

- And an hour and a half ended up being far from enough for you to talk about everything you wanted

- Seeing as how you were talking like long time friends, you hadn't noticed the time pass by, but when you realized the next class was about to start, you had to run much to your own and his dismay too

- "I hope to see you around, Y/N." He told you as you were about to part

- "I do too but if you're not doing the post-grad program, I'm afraid we won't be seeing a whole lot of each other." You replied, not thinking much of it

- "I'm actually starting to reconsider it." He said and suddenly you were thinking much of it

- That's all you could think about for the rest of the day and the morning after

- The only thing that could invade your mind and replace it was the happiness you felt when you saw him back on campus the following day

- "Are you stalking me, old man?" You joked as you walked up to him in the quad

It’s Joon’s third birthday with me. Previously I celebrated it in the same way by giving him surprises in the midnight but this time I want to make it special. He always makes every moment of my life special. 

But I have to plan fast his birthday is approaching. I was thinking of ideas when Joon returned home. We have been living together since 2 years and it is the best decision of my life. He came and sat down beside me and dug his head in the crook of my neck and snuggled, “hi baby!!” he said with a low husky voice. This is it I don’t want anything else now. I hugged him back and asked, “Are you tired Joonie?” he didn’t say anything rather he just nodded.

I gave him a peck on his forehead and said, “How was your day?” it’s our regular kind of thing; we always ask each other about our days.

“Don’t even ask”, he said and then sat upright and continued, “it was so freaking tiring I felt like I would die” he smiled and his dimple was so vividly visible. I am the luckiest girl on this planet I swear.

“ahh I see my baby is so tired”, I said and cupped his face.

He then got up and I too went to the kitchen to bring his dinner. He came back after showering and wearing his sweatpants and a loose white tee. 

He came and lean in the kitchen slab and I offered him his food. He sat down and started eating. Everything he does is so adorable. 

Joon said while eating, “you know y/n I miss watching the sea I have been busy in work so much I wish I can go and watch those beautiful waves”.

That’s true it’s been a while we have been to the sea and enjoyed ourselves. By the way this is the best gift I can give him. I asked, “by the way Joon, can you take a leave on your birthday please”.

He thought for a while and then said, “of course babe I can, but what are you planning?”

“ it’s a surprise Joonie, I can’t tell you just take a leave and keep doing what I am telling you to and don’t ask me questions”, I said and pinched his cheeks.

“ahhhhhh it hurts y/n”, he complained and then continued, “ now heal me”. He then showed me his cheek.

I kissed him lightly on his cheek and he smiled. I let him have dinner alone and went inside to plan for the trip.

{ JOON’S BIRTHDAY}

“Y/n why am I supposed to be blindfolded”, Joon complained when I was tying a blindfold in his eyes.

“Stop complaining Joonie, you have been complaining since morning”, I said and then tied the blindfold.

Joon still don’t have a driving license so I always drive when we go on to trips.  He sat on the passenger seat and tried all means to get to know where I was taking him and it was so cute. At a moment I felt like telling him where I was taking him. 

We reached the beach after like driving for 2 hours. I helped him get off the car and stabled him. He couldn’t wait more so he ripped off the blindfold. He is an expert in destroying things. When he saw where he is his face lit up, he ran towards the beach and jumped up a little. I opened my phone and recorded it. His reaction is priceless.  He ran back to me and hugged me.

“Thank you y/n, for this i am really unable to tell you how much I needed this”, he said and kissed me on the lips and he tasted like fresh mint as always. “I love you more than anything you know”, he said again softly.

“ I love you too Joonie and I know how much tired you were so I decided to bring you here”, I said and then continued, “ and I am sorry I haven’t done much this year I was so confused for doing something special for you I hope I didn’t mess up”, I ask him.

“ of course not baby, you made this so much more special I can’t even express how much this meant to me”, he said and again gave me a peck.

I hugged him again and listened to his heartbeat. I know this is cringe but his heartbeat is my favorite melody. We quietly watched the sea in each other’s arms. 

“Oh shoot I forgot”, I shouted. Joon became worried when I shouted like this he asked, “what happened y/n?”

“Wait for a moment here I will be back soon”, I said and ran towards our car before he could question me anything.

I came back holding the cake I baked for him. He smiled and when I reached him I saw he had tears in his eyes. I smiled seeing him happy and said, “Make a wish and blow the candles”.

He closed his eyes momentarily and made a wish and then blew the candles off. I asked again, “what did you wish?”

“Make a guess”, he said.

“Umm I don’t know tell me”, I replied.

“I wished I would have you by my side forever”, he said and leaned forward and fed me a small piece of cake.

“You know what, I hope your wish come true”, I smiled.

You were a quiet introverted student. You had a few friends whom you loved to death

Library was your solace.

You sat in a hushed, hidden corner in the library where almost no student came to

Well, except of course Remus Lupin

He had come there one day as you sat re-reading your favourite book, disoriented and fidgety.

“Oh, didn’t know you were there!  Would you mind if I sat down?” he said softly as you just shrugged.

“As long as you keep quiet.”

And he did. He came there, every day, sitting at the opposite end of your table giving you a smile and getting back to his own book

You seemed to enjoy his silent company. It was calm of sorts.

Until one day, his friends joined him.

“Mooooony! We’ve been looking all over for you!”

“Is this where you hide?”

You tried not to notice the two boys but failed terribly. How could you not?

Remus constantly shushed them and after bickering after 15 minutes, they finally left.

Remus cleared his throat

“I’m sorry about my friends” he said giving you a guilty expression.

“It’s alright. I read this book at least 10 times already, didn’t mind the noise that much.” His gaze shifted to the title of the book and he smiled widely

“I love this one too!”

And the two of you had started talking. You had no idea how time passed.

You were beginning to enjoy your talks as much as your silences

He and you would meet up there every day and just sit beside each other, sometimes talk, sometimes just work on your respective things

He would bring you chocolates sometimes as the two of you would happily munch them together.

He was very sweet, there was no doubt in that.

He was extremely perceptive too, knowing when and what made you tick.

You had started to quite like the freckles that covered his nose, his deep brown eyes that you could get lost in

And somewhere along the line, you realized, you’d fallen for him.

It had started as you found yourself staring at his perfectly kissable pink lips, wanting yourself closer to him whenever possible, loving the smell of coffee and chocolate around him

And it scared you

It scared you, because he was a great guy, good at studies, looked extremely adorable, smart, funny and you were, well you

So you didn’t say anything.

Your heart continued to thump when he was around, blushing furiously when he complimented you

You did everything to beat down the nervous flutter

Not that it helped.

It was one of your DADA assignments and you had your pencil in your mouth, frowning furiously at the book in front.

Remus noticed it.

“That’s a book you’re trying to kill.” He said as you looked at him, sighing.

“I just don’t get why they portray werewolves as dangerous creatures. They are human, they deserve respect. Moreover, the researchers are advancing each day, I’m sure they’ll find a cure soon. It’s a condition, not a state of being?”

You didn’t see Remus's face flicker through a whirlwind of emotions.

Remus started noticing you a lot more after that

How you were opinioned, yet kept an open mind

How you always did little things for him, which could easily go unnoticed.

He was coming to quite like you, but had no idea how to tell you just that

What if, you didn’t like him back?

Sirius slapped the top of his head, breaking him out of his reverie

“Stare any longer and there would be hole in her head.”

And Remus had the reddest blush on his face

It was his friends who pushed him to ask you out

“But what if she says no?”

“Moony, if you ask that question one more time…”

“Shove it! She is clearly interested and even if she says no, of which chances are none, you’ll take rejection like an adult.”

“Arghhhh”

You had seen Remus glance at you so many times

At first, you thought it was just you, but then you caught his eye a couple of times too.

You sighed seeing him avert his eyes again.

“Spit it out Remus!”

“Ahhhhhh, I wanted to ask you something…”

“What?”

He just looked down, not saying anything

“Say it!”

“OKAY! Willyougooutonadatewithme?”

“What?” you said as Remus's cheeks tinted pink

“Will you go out on a date with me?” he whispered and your eyes widened

He wanted to go out with you? That too, on a date?

You stuttered somehow croaking out an audible “Yes.”

The date was awkward a little at first

Remus complimented your dress, you told him he looked great too

And the two of you slowly made your way through Hogsmeade

It wasn’t until you started having butterbeers, you relaxed and started talking

The two of you laughed, looked around the little pub.

It was perfect

You went on another date, then another and you never quite stopped

The dates eventually evolved into just sneaking into his room and cuddling, reading or just talking.

Either you’d bring him coffee or he would

He knew what you liked perfectly, perhaps, even more than you

You had never yet kissed him

There were moments when you could have, but he seemed to pull away

You wondered what it would feel like

Soft or rough or the kind that makes you melt or the kind that sets you on fire

You were cuddling with Remus in his dorm, Sirius and James had gone for their latest prank and it was calm

The two of you talked softly as Remus intertwined his fingers against yours

You looked at him as his soft green eyes gleamed in the darkness

You wanted to take your chances

You moved up to press your lips against his, but he only turned.

You gulped feeling your heart fall.

“(Y/n)… I…” Remus started as you looked at him. He licked his lips

“(Y/n), I am a werewolf.” Remus said as he looked away

Your eyes widened, but you schooled your expressions immediately

Of course you knew

You’d known about it, one week into the relationship

It was obvious

“…yes?” you whispered after a few minutes when he didn’t look at you

Remus turned at you and frowned

“I won’t be mad at you for breaking up with me now. I know my condition is-“

You replied by pushing your lips against his

You had fireworks through your body

His lips were soft against yours, he tasted like coffee and chocolate

He wrapped his arms around your hips pulling you closer, biting on your lower lip making you moan

Your hands fisted his hair pulling at them as he groaned.

You didn’t want to pull away, you wanted to keep kissing him like that forever

His hands were all over you.

He sucked and nibbed at your lips as you finally had to pull away to breathe

Your chest heaved as he looked at you with a guilty smile

“I love you, no matter what.” You whispered, before he pulled you in again for a kiss

Remus had always been a bit touchy

Wrapping his arm around you, holding your hand, pressing chaste kisses to your forehead

Now, even more

He would pull you into broom closets as you would giggle

“Remus, we’re gonna get late” you mumble against his lips

“I want to kiss you first”

He really did love kissing you

Not that you complained

Kisses turned steamy soon

You would be in his dorm making out, (you did that a lot, the two of you)

He would suck and bite your neck as your hands would slip inside his jumper

He was possessive

He loved it when you were bold under the sheets but at the same time wouldn’t let you take the lead

All in all, he was the perfect boyfriend

He cared for you, was your biggest motivator and supporter

Happy Birthday Oikawa

Oikawa x f!Reader 

Summary: It's been more than 6 months since the last time you and Oikawa had been in each other’s arms, he has been in Argentina training while you went to the United States to study. But now his birthday is coming

“I miss you so much, (Y/N),” your heart clenched at the sound of his voice lowering  “God I wish I could be there with you.” a small smile appears on your lips while you handle your bag to the airport assistant. “I know, Tooru, I miss you too.” 

“It’s just so frustrating!! I want to hold you, to kiss you but I can’t…And I just-” his voice raises and he starts to speak faster, you reach the boarding wait room knowing you’ll soon have to end the call.

“Babe, I have-” 

“You know what??” he sounded desperate and kept talking.

“Babe, I know it is hard but I really have to-” you tried to add but Oikawa’s voice didn't let you “Fuck it!! I’m taking the next flight to Boston, that’s it” you stiffened,a large sigh coming out of your lips,  you were 120% done with his complains. You shake your head thinking about your exasperated boyfriend, and how he’ll react when he sees you.

“HEY TRASHYKAWA! Listen to me, I have to go. I was supposed to work on... a group project.” the woman behind you looks at you frowning, how couldn’t she,  with that scream of yours.

“Sorry babe, I got a little carried away...wait, what?” he blinks a couple of times,  looking down at his watch, 11:20 pm.

 “But you were supposed to be the first one to say Happy Birthday to me…” even if you couldn’t see him, you could picture his mouth pouting. 

 “I know Tooru, I’m really sorry. I have to go,” Oikawa bites his lip “Okay…” his voice is barely a whisper, you take a deep breath,  not knowing how much can you keep this going. All you want to do is to tell him that, after the next 5 hours you will be hugging him tightly  “I’ll call you first time in the morning, don’t do anything stupid ‘till then, okay?” a little smile adorns his lips 

“(Y/N), what can I possibly do in the next 6 hours, plus, I do have a sleeping schedule to follow” you let out a ringing laugh, Oikawa squeals at the sound of it, seeing that gorgeous smile of yours again will be the best birthday gift he could ever ask. When was the last time he actually saw that pretty smile? Thought you never liked your laugh, he never stops telling you how cute it is.

“Who knows? You always manage to surprise me” the line of boarding moved, making you the next to show your ticket, an endearing chuckle came from the other side of the call, making it almost impossible for you to finish the conversation with him,  “I really have to go...I love you Tooru, bye.” You quickly place your phone on your handbag and turn to the counter lady. 

“I love you too” his back drops on the bed a little shocked about how quickly you finished the call. “Fuck” his forearms are crossed over his face, his mind wandering over the last time you shared dinner together, held hands , slept on the same bed to wake up next to each other.

But most painful was that he couldn’t stop thinking about how your lips tasted and how your skin felt under his touch. Oikawa wasn’t able to restrain a small sob from his lips. 

12:00 pm and not even a text from you, were you that busy to not even text him? No, you were actually updating Iwaizumi, Makki, and Mattsun about the plan the three of you were pulling out.

  A little sore made its way to his chest, This week you barely talked with each other. He didn’t know that you were busy organizing your trip to Argentina just to be with him. 

Worry written over his features, his eyelids became heavier and his breathing slowed, fatigue making its way in his bod, after all, he just has made its way back from training. He turned to the side hugging a pillow pretending he is holding you and closed his eyes longing for you to be there with him.

You stand in front of a door in the middle of the hall, your eyes checked the address in your phone and looked at photo Oikawa sent you a few months ago when he moved in. Yeah, this is the place, a big smile appears on your face and you knock the door expectantly. Nothing. It’s almost 5:30 am, he’s likely to be sleeping, knowing his schedule you realize today is his day off. Of course, he is sleeping.

 A few minutes after, you’re calling your boyfriend. 

“(Y/N)-chan?” Oikawa’s voice rings from the other side, hoarse and slumberous. 

“ Happy birthday Tooru!! Sorry for not telling you sooner, I- The guys stayed until just now and…” 

“Awww, Thanks (Y/N)!! Don’t worry babe, I understand... you sound tired” a huge yawn coming out from his lips, you giggle at his words, if you knew Tooru. Your heart beats faster at his soft words, hearing him always made your heart skip a bit. “Babe? Everything ok?” his words still are drowsy and another yawn makes it through his lips. Oikawa won’t tell you that his eyes are closing with each passing second because he only wants to hears your voice as long as he possibly can. And you know this. Your heartbeats speed up and your cheeks heating up.  

“Yeah, it’s gonna be more than ok” you whispered “I’ll let you sleep now, I know you need to have a good sleep to keep that pretty face”  you tease, as sleepy as he is Oikawa lets out a warm laugh and grins at the phone. Before he can fully answer, you silence your phone and knock the door with powerful thumps.

“Of course, to wake up this handsome I- What the fuck? Sorry babe, some idiot it’s knocking on my door, wait for me a minute please” 

The door opens and Oikawa’s eyes widen, his tiredness disappearing instantly. You blush at the view in front, his phone con hand, his messy brown locks framing his features, and his bare torso exposed to your eyes. 

“Guess I’m the idiot, uh? “ you smile sweetly at him “Surprise T-” before you can say anything else, Oikawa is already all over you. He kisses every inch of your face while holding you tightly, his lips brush your neck and make you let out a vociferous laugh. 

You gently push him a little, feeling his skin under your touch is hard to regain your composure “Happy Birthday Tooru” You cup his cheeks and kiss his lips, his hands move to your waist and pulls you closer. Sharing a passionate kiss that was longed for too much. 

“I still can’t believe you are here, how?” His forehead rest on yours and your fingers strike his locks and caress his neck. 

“Well, It turns out your girlfriend is amazing soo..” His laugh fills the hall and sends warmth to your stomach. 

 “This is the best birthday gift I could possibly get, you know?” he lifts your chin up, stroking your cheek, his eyes filled with tenderness “I love you so much...Fuck, I missed you” Small tears appear on both of you, a smile set on your lips.

“You are the best thing it could possibly happen to me, Tooru” his eyes dazzle while wiping your tears with the back of his hand. Both of you restrain yourselves from becoming a crying mess, slowing down your breathing. 

“Well... are you gonna invite me in? Or are we staying here the rest of the night?” you cock your eyebrows making Oikawa smirk playfully at you. He observes you, but his gaze looks ...darker.

“So many things we could do here, tho” he leans , pressing your body against the wall, trapping you between his arms. You feel his chest against yours and notice how bulkier his forearms look now. You manage to collect all your self-control and keep a playful mood. 

“Tooru” you whisper bowing closer to his ear “Iwaizumi, Makki and Mattsun are coming here in about 2 hours,” 

“Are those 3 coming too?... You guys are awesome” his face displays a big smile and shiny eyes. Is he really that shocked that his friends are coming to see him?  “In that case, love,  we should make most of the time we have left” His husky voice promises so many things, sending shivers through your body. You are genuinely surprised how easy he shifts his moods. 

“I like the idea. Maybe, after you  help me unpacking, hmm?” 

“That won’t take long, isn't it?”Oikawa hums in your neck  

“Well I’m making a whole semester here, I think I brought plenty of stuff” you coo, Oikawa steps back and his eyes glisten in delight. He takes a look at your suitcases noticing for the first time how big they are and hurries to take them in his apartment. 

“That’s just the best news I’ve heard so far. You’re making this day better and better (Y/N)” Oikawa’s hand holds yours tightly as he closes the door. “You make me so happy, babe, I’m really lucky...thank you...for ev-” One of your fingers presses his lips, you  lean on your feet to reach his cheek, planting a gentle kiss

 “ Anything for you, I love you Tooru. Happy birthday”

It is  almost a week late but I had to do something for his birthday.

“Are you thinking about that nurse?” 

Reiner spluttered his drink over the table, completely failing to cover up the shock on his body. It also didn’t help that the drink is dripping from his chin and has stuck to his shirt. One minute, he’s happily eating with Gabi and Falco, and the next they’ve got him locked in the corner. His cousin pursed her lips as Falco smiled knowingly. 

“I have no idea who you’re talking about.” 

Reiner continued to drink, nervousness evident on his face as Gabi continued to press with the help of her friend. 

“Mr. Braun,” Falco said, clasping his hands together, pushing away his plate. “We’re talking about the nurse from the last week? We keep seeing you in the hospital, wondering what you were doing there.” 

“Yes,” Gabi nodded, a playful glint on her brown eyes. “I think you are completely healed, thanks to the wonderful medicine that we have. Yet, you still go back there. Don’t you think so, Falco?” 

“Absolutely.” Falco nodded, smiling widely as was Gabi. 

“Eat your food,” Reiner grunted, avoiding the topic. He hasn’t really been going to the hospital that much. Well... just sometimes when he needs to ask the nurse a little something, but not always, as he’d like to think.

“You just thought of her again,” Gabi smiled, munching on her food. 

“I did not,” Reiner retorted. 

Gabi and Falco looked at each other, silencing filling the whole bench as Reiner glared at his cousin, then at Falco, and the cycle continued as they ate their food quietly. Reiner doesn't need to be caught thinking about the nurse that he admires so much, that he just keeps coming back, for absolutely nothing. 

"Well," Gabi pushed again, staring at her cousin. Reiner gulped, knowing how much Gabi could see right through him. "I think they've got beautiful eyes." 

"Beautiful hair," Falco helped. 

"Kind smile," Gabi counted another one. 

"Soft hands," Falco added. 

"How did you know that she's got soft hands?"

Reiner made a mistake asking that. He hung his head low, breathing through his nose as he closed his eyes, listening to the kids right before him. 

"Aha!" Gabi boomed, pointing at Reiner with a smile. "So you do have a crush on that nurse!"

"But you know what, Gabi?" Falco asked, turning his head to her, as Reiner watched their interaction closely. "Mr. Braun could self-heal his wounds, cuts, injuries..."

"You are absolutely right!" 

Reiner eyed the two in front of him, his lips turning into a straight line. Only Falco looked away, still with a playful smile on his lips, while Gabi... she crossed her arms, knowing that she is right. That, Reiner, has a crush on that nurse no matter how many times Reiner would say that he doesn't have one.

Reyna, your friend, flicked your shoulder once, and another on the forehead. 

"What was that for?" You cried, covering your forehead in case that she attacks you again. 

"I can see from your eyes that you are thinking of someone else," Reyna cooed, crossing her arms as she stood beside you. Both of you were assessing the easy day, little scabs and cuts here and there, nothing too major. Reyna turned to you, gasping audibly, "Are you thinking about that guy?" 

"What guy?" You shyly turned away, fixing the nurse's table even when it's spotless. 

"What guy?" Reyna mimicked, puckering her lips. "Reiner Braun!" 

"Who?" 

"Reiner Braun!"

"Am I supposed to know who that is?" 

Reyna only laughed, grabbing her clipboard to cover up her face. She has been your closest friend, already knowing your every little perk, and could already see through your lies. It was quite funny, now that you thought of him. Everytime during his visits, he'd make you smile wider, blush a little harder, and make your heart flutter a little more. Reiner has been going in and out the hospital, complaining about a miniscule pain or a twisted knot on his shoulder when he trained, that required you to massage and supervise his movements to make sure that he hasn't really twisted anything. 

It was the shoulders first. 

Then his ankles. 

Then his wrists.

Then his fingers. 

Reiner did have small cuts on his fingers so you've treated him much longer for that. 

"What happened to your fingers?" You asked, holding his arm out on a small table, as you assessed the swollen joints on his hands. He should be more careful, you thought. Reiner hissed, curling his fingers on to yours, when you added pressure to it. "I'm sorry!"

"It's fine," Reiner breathed, when you began to touch his fingers again. Everytime you touched him, it'll leave a burning touch, sparks flying as he tries to not meet your curious eyes, "From training. I must've... punched the bag hard."

"Well, you have to bandaged your fingers when you train now," you whispered, pressing lightly on the cut, making him hiss again. You frown at the cuts, quickly getting up, "I'll go get something to clean it with. I'll be right back." 

Reiner watched as you walked towards your table, grabbing rolls of bandages, one vial, and cotton. He thought that you looked cute, carrying that all around your arms, marching right at him once you placed it on his table. 

"I've got an extra roll for you to keep," you mentioned, pushing it towards him. Reiner nodded, easing his hand gently on the table. 

You uncapped the vial, applying it to the cotton. You raised your head, tucking your hair behind your ear. You only smiled shyly, surprised that his hazel eyes were already boring into yours, making his hard expression soften as he watched you blush. Very much. Reiner chuckled a little in response, as you failed to cover up the heat surge on your face. 

"This will sting," you whispered again, using your forearm to brush away your hair since both of your hands were holding his hand and the cotton.

Reiner was quick to act, pulling his hand away from yours, as he raised it over your hair. "May I?"

That action made you blink, surprised again, but you found yourself nodding. His calloused fingers brushed against the tip of your ear, his eyes flitting towards your ears then to your eyes. 

"Thank you," you murmured, bending your head down quick to flush away the blush on your cheeks. 

I shouldn't be blushing, you thought while you apply ointment on his cuts, keeping your head low. 

Reiner cleared his throat in return, feeling the blush creep on his neck while his face remained stoic. When you finally looked down and began to work on his fingers, fuck, he let out the biggest smile as he can't help but feel all good and giddy inside. 

Then he's gone and has you looking at the window, wondering what time he'll visit. 

Reyna laughed again, looking at you blush while you reminisce about him. She was about to open her mouth when two kids screamed inside the floor.

"Nurse! Nurse!" The brown-haired girl screamed, dragging her friend along. 

"What's wrong?" Reyna rushed over, worry on her face, while you were glued to the ground. 

"No, I'm sorry! Not you," the girl waved Reyna away, then she pointed at you. "Her!"

"Me?"

"Yes!" 

Reyna watched the whole interaction comically smiling, standing up a little straighter as you walked carefully towards the kids. Reyna peeked through your shoulder as you bent down, your eyes quickly looking over at them. 

"My name is Gabi. This is my friend, Falco. He has," Gabi said, stuttering a little until Falco cleared his throat. "He has something on his... arm."

"May I see it, Falco?" 

"Yes, Nurse..." Falco faltered, hiding his arm away while you only raised a brow. You and Reyna shared a look, wondering if these little rascals were just playing around, but you've got time to entertain. 

"Nurse [Y/N]," you answered, offering a hand, which Falco shook with a nod. He showed you his arm, a tiny bite on it. "Is that..."

"That's an insect bite," Reyna finished your statement, looking at the children. "An ant bite."

"Oh," Gabi and Falco echoed. 

Reyna chuckled, ruffling their hair as she walked away, to get an ointment. The two kids stared curiously at you, while you also stared at them. At first, it was creepy. It was weird. Then they smiled. 

"Do you have a day-off tomorrow, Miss?" 

You eyed them warily, looking back at Reyna who is now busy chatting with other patients. "I do, but why-?"

"Great!" Gabi happily said, clasping her hands behind her. She fumbled with her pockets, fishing out a small piece of paper. "Will you please meet us here at five in the afternoon, tomorrow?"

"Oh," you hesitantly accepted the paper, reading it in your mind while they ran away. "Hey! Come back!" 

"Where are they going?" 

"I'm so..." you looked at Reyna, taking the paper out of your hand. "They asked me to meet them there tomorrow." 

"Well, are you going?"

"Why?"

"Just go!" Reyna cooed, folding the paper, tucking it in your blouse pocket, "What do you have to lose?"

"What do I have to lose?"

You fixed your clothes before the mirror, zipping up your skirt, as you tucked in a white blouse. The outfit was simple for a hot day, dressed comfortably, thoughts going off in your brain as to what the kids might be planning. The whole interaction was weird, but it tugged you forward to actually participate in whatever they've got planned. It was also weird, how you were looking forward to this. 

Grabbing your purse, you finally locked your apartment, walking towards the quaint restuarant they have instructed you to go to. It was only a ten minute walk, each minute making you nervous of what'll happen when you get there. 

Once you got there, the little rascals weren't there. But someone else was. 

He has his arms crossed, a solemn look on his face as his brows furrowed, peeping on the window. His eyes flit towards the restaurant and down the street, like he was waiting for somebody. Finally, he turned to look at the other way, while you stood there— caught red-handedly staring at him. 

"Oh!" You exclaimed, waving your hands. Embarrassed that he caught you staring, "I wasn't... I was suppose to meet these children-?"

Reiner sighed deeply, moving a little closer to you. "Do they go by the name Gabi and Falco?" 

"Yes?"

"I knew it." 

"I'm sorry?"

"Gabi is my cousin." 

"Oh," you nodded, still confused. "Oh, okay." 

"Well," Reiner stared at his shoes, rocking it back and forth. Don't smile, you idiot, he thought. But he failed.

"I'll get going then," you gulped, refusing to look at him. 

Reiner only nodded, his lips into a small smile as he watched you walk away. He breathed deeply, rehearsing a whole speech for Gabi so that he scold her for trying to set them up. He walked away, his hands in his pockets, as he thought of this whole thing. He stopped in his tracks, getting all clammed up, not caring if people around him were passing by his shoulders, muttering their hard excuses. 

"Whatever," Reiner muttered, turning to your direction, his steps getting faster and faster as he craned his neck trying to find the top of your head. You couldn't have gone far, he thought. His eyes scanned the whole street, walking faster and when he saw your familiar hair, Reiner was quick to run up to you. 

"[Y/N]!"

The voice was faded in the large crowd, but nonetheless, you turned around. You saw Reiner on his tip-toes, and you smiled when he finally caught you in the crowd. "[Y/N,]"

"Hi," you breathed, tucking your hair. He panted before you, fixing his jacket as he pointed behind him. He is so nervous that he almost stuttered his words as you stared with the most beautiful eyes he has ever laid on. He cleared his throat, trying to get himself back to reality. "Hi, Reiner." 

He liked the way his name rolls out of your tongue, he thought. 

Reiner rubbed the back of his neck, debating with himself. "Since... since we're both here, would you like to eat at that restuarant?" 

He quickly retracted his words when your mouth opened and close when he asked you out. Reiner quickly turned red, his hands shaking, "You don't have to. I just thought-." 

Blush filled your cheeks, nodding anyway. Reiner stopped talking, when you nodded again. "No, I'd love that." 

"Okay," he gushed, tilting his head towards the restaurant. "Shall we?"

The whole dinner in the restaurant was awkward at first. Both of you covered your faces with the same menu, reading the same ten things the restaurant has got to offer. The only thing that made you all stop hiding is the waitress that came over to get your orders. After that, it was back to silence now that the menus weren’t there to use. 

Reiner cleared his throat, watching the water twirled in the glass while you looked the other way, curious to what the other people were talking about. The air around the two of you were heavy, not knowing what to say anymore. It also doesn’t help because you have a big fat crush on him, but he doesn’t seem to notice it so that was fine. He also hasn’t met your eyes since the two of you sat down. Finally, the waitress came back with both of your orders. 

“Enjoy, lovebirds!” 

“Oh, no-!”

“We aren’t-!”

Both of you said it together, making the waitress arch her brow, smiling away at the whole scene. Both of you looked at each other for the first time inside the store, chuckles sputtering from the both of you. Reiner finally let out a small smile, making him shake his head as he nodded towards your plate. 

“Let’s eat?” 

Both of you ate quietly, the awkwardness turning to a comfortable silence.

“So,” you looked up, “How did your little cousin know about me?” 

I like you, and Gabi knows, he thought. 

“Well, she’s Gabi,” Reiner looked up with a smile. "She knows... things."

"She knows," you laughed, cocking your head to the side, "She knows about me?"

"Yes," Reiner nodded, smiling softly, "In some way."

"Oh." 

"But!" Reiner blurted out. He doesn't know why he's such mess. He is a blushing mess. "How did she come to you?" 

"It's a funny story actually," you started, placing your elbows on the table. He tilted his head in interest, leaning closer while he copied your posture. "So, they came running: Gabi and Falco. She came running, grabbing Falco by the arm with a displeased look on his face..." 

Reiner listened, laughing and smiling while you do so. He feels giddy. He feels like he's on cloud-nine when he watched you tell the story with such ease that all he wants to do is listen, and listen all the while he's daydreaming of you, even if you are infront of him. 

He offered to walk you home, gladly accepting it just a way to spend more time with him. The time with felt like it has slowed down, both of you quiet as the only steps against the cobblestones were the only sound. He has made you so flustered and every second spent made you swim in giddiness. You tightened your hold on your purse, clutching to it to focus your attention to it.

"I live right here," you whispered, pointing to the building. You felt Reiner stop by the stairs, rocking his heel gently as he waited for you to open the door. Reiner looked up, glancing at the streets then back at you. 

"Did you... did you have fun?" Reiner asked, closing his eyes in embarrassment as you turned around slowly. 

"I did," you answered, tilting your head. You bit on your lip, heart-pounding as you looked back and forth to the door and Reiner. "Thank you." 

"Well," Reiner stepped down from the stairs, standing with his hands behind him. 

He's still high from spending time with you but he also doesn't want it to end. It seems silly to him because nobody has made him feel like this. This was like breath of fresh air, you were his breath of fresh air. He wants to stop himself from practically confessing himself to you, because he is still confused. He doesn't want to rush it but he wants to know. His heart practically wants to burst at the seams, but he is scared it'll scare you. 

"I should go, then," Reiner nodded. He fiddled with his fingers, staying a second longer until he watched you open the door and get behind it. 

"Walk home safe," you said, peeking from the door. 

It's still early, having no care that you'll have an early day tomorrow for work. He stayed a little longer, until he nodded once more, turning around as he began to walk away. It is still early, and you looked up at the skies, just beginning to set. You opened your door again, looking at the street where Reiner's slowly walking away. His head was hung low, hands inside his pockets as he walked. 

Stay? You thought. I've got to tell him something... maybe not now... but... stay.

The cobblestones underneath your feet echoed as you ran outside the door, your hair blowing away from the direction. 

"Reiner!" 

He stopped in his tracks, slowly turning just to see you ran to his direction. His eyes widened, surprised that you caught up to him. He took note of your disheveled hair and your chest riding up and down, as you pointed to your apartment. 

Reiner could only smile again. 

"It's still early," you breathed hard, craning your head towards your door. 

Oh, what are you doing, you thought. What do I have to lose?

"I... I...," you stuttered, heart shaking. 

He watched you blush again, looking back at his eyes. There was something so familiar in your eyes, that he could forever drown in them. He felt like he was staring as his eyes when he looked at you, and that was it, the familiarity. You share the same glint of his eyes when he's thinking of you. Thinking of ways to come visit you in the hospital. Just... to have a lame excuse just to see you. 

Reiner waited, patiently, and then he stopped breathing. You looked up at him with the warmest eyes, making him drown in infatutuation. 

The gears in your head was turning, trying to say something that'll make him stay a little longer. Reiner's lips turned into a shy smile, turning his whole body to face you, his thoughts in shambles when you asked him. 

"Would you like to come up for a drink?"

-About Diluc: Master Diluc? He’s okay I guess, I don’t really wanna intrude his personal space, but I am very curious on why he acts all sad…

-About Eula: She is one of the most amazing people in Teyvat! She’s good at basically everything and she’s very nice! She dances ballet with me and teaches me how to use the Claymore! I don’t get why people don’t like her, probably jealousy.

Xingqiu on the other hand, he likes flirting with me since we’re both the same age, but it’s just friend flirting since we’re all only friends.

damn, never thought we'd get here, did we?

in all honesty, it's been a pretty shit year. march 'til now has felt like the same month on repeat with tiny tweaks to make it all so much worse. but i'm not here to complain about the worst parts of this year, i'm here to celebrate the best ones.

this was the year that i finally started writing, that i was finally spurred to open a google doc and just type away until a tiny work of fiction stared back at me. my first one was 1k words, a rant to get all of my emotions off of my chest with an idol as my muse. it felt...great, though it also felt a bit odd writing after being an avid reader for years. i always did prefer essays to creative writing, but this year definitely changed that perspective.

i wrote that first blurb along with another fic in late july, and in early august, i asked my friends if i should post them. om august 3rd, i changed this blog from a fic rec to a fic writing blog just like that. i regret none of it.

it's been nearly five months since i revamped this blog and i couldn't be more grateful for the support i have gotten from all of you, whether it be a kind comment, a like, a reblog, all of it. i never thought anyone would like my content, but i've been proven severely wrong by this community. from my irls that are on here, to my lovely mutuals and followers, to those i've talked to a lil bit on this hellsite, to the writers whose fics i absolutely adore, to those who have left a like or a comment on one of my fics, i want to say thank you from the very bottom of my heart ♡

The constant ringing of the doorbell made Seungkwan get up from where he was seated on the couch of their living room, groaning and complaining about how the members knew the password but still chose to ring the bell. 

"SURPRISE!" 

"AHHHHHH" 

You, Jeonghan and Wonwoo fall down on the floor, clutching on your stomach as you watch Seungkwan clutching on his heart in an attempt to calm himself down. 

Seokmin and Chan came running downstairs to see what the commotion was all about, getting surprised when they saw you with two of their Hyungs on the door. 

"Y/N what a pleasant surprise, I missed you so much."

You hugged Seokmin as Chan helped Seungkwan, you hugged the rest two too and they helped you take your luggage inside their apartment and into the living room.

"You guys had a schedule today? I thought Joshua said you were free."

You thanked Chan as he gave you some water to drink then proceeding to sit beside you and you lay your head on his shoulder. 

You explained to Seungkwan, Chan and Seokmin about your scholarship program and they were more than happy that they would be able to spend more time with you here. 

"We don't have a schedule, few of the members have gone out because they got bored and few are inside, I think Minghao and Vernon are upstairs sleeping or doing their own thing."

You nodded your head at Jeonghan's word, yawning a bit since you were really tired as sleep deprived. 

"Joshua is out too, let us help you with your luggage to his room and you can get freshen up there, I'm pretty sure he'll be back sometime soon."

"That sounds like a plan, I'll go take the shower and rest for a bit."

You got up from your spot and took a few of the small bags with you while Wonwoo and Seokmin helped with other baggage. Jeonghan led you towards Joshua's room which was on the ground floor in the extreme end of the hallway. 

You also learned that maknae line were staying on the first floor and Hyung line on the ground floor, Jeonghan also explained that they had separate party rooms at the second floor where they hangout with other idols sometimes or hold parties. 

He also told you that the first door which opens to the left of the entryway was their general living room and the living room where you were seated a few minutes prior was only for close friends. 

"Your luggage is already inside, you go ahead and use the room as yours and if you need anything, my room is here."

You looked in the direction where his finger was pointing to see that his room was exactly on the opposite side of Joshua. 

"Thank you, I'll go ahead and shower."

He smiled, ruffling your hair a bit before going inside his own room while you opened the door of Joshua's. 

"Woah, are they covering the whole floor of this building, I didn't realize that the rooms would be this huge too."

The room was a bit smaller than the living room, you thought that they may have made it extra large for entertainment purposes but taking a look at Joshua's room you could tell that the rooms were fairly large too. 

It wasn't that surprising though, you had read an article where the members said that each of them have a single unit now. 

Joshua's room was very clean and sophisticated, it was minimal but it fitted his aura, you chuckled looking at the number of plushies kept on the top shelves of the cabinets, you remember looking at them when a carat pointed at the plushies during a vlive.

Thinking back at those memories, you have come so far. 

You took your sweatpants and a plain t-shirt from your bag along with your other necessary things and made your way inside the bathroom to take the shower.

Jeonghan was peacefully sleeping on his bed when he heard Joshua's scream followed by yours, he fell off the bed, clumsily making his way out of his door to bump his head into a very frantic looking Joshua. 

"What the-" 

Jeonghan rubbed his head almost cursing at Joshua but stopping when he saw how shocked the latter was. 

"Why were you yelling?" 

"There's some girl in my room, someone broke in my room?" 

Jeonghan looked at him in confusion, who would break into Joshua's room which was the way at the end of the hallway when his eyes widened in realization. 

"Yah, it's y/n, what did you do?" 

Joshua straightened himself from his prior position. 

"Y/N? Isn't she busy with her exam?" 

"No stupid, she came here to surprise you, what did you do?" 

Joshua looked back at his room and then at Jeonghan, he ran towards his room to take a look at the luggage kept at one corner before turning back to Jeonghan. 

"I may have opened the bathroom door thinking no one was there and I may have got shocked seeing someone else in my room but now that I know it's y/n, have a nice day."

He shut the door on Jeonghan's face, leaning on his door to process what exactly happened.

You clutched onto the towel you had wrapped around your body as soon as you and Joshua screamed when he opened the bathroom door. 

You immediately got outside of the shower and wrap the towel on your body before locking the door from inside, you slapped yourself for being so careless in an apartment full of boys, you had a habit of not locking the bathroom door since Miu and you shared one bathroom and sometimes both of you needed to use it for different purposes. 

You sat down on the closed toilet seats regaining your breath, you were happy that before Joshua could see you manage to hide your body behind the curtain. 

You heard a few soft knocks on the bathroom door followed by Joshua's voice. 

"Y/N are you okay? I didn't scare you much did I?" 

"No."

You stood up and made your way towards the door to hear him clearly. 

"I didn't expect you to be here at all,I'm so sorry I scared you like that."

"It's okay, I wanted to surprise you so it isn't your fault at all."

Joshua sighed, hitting his head lightly on the door, shaking his head. 

"Open the door."

"What? No."

"Come on open the door I want to see you, I haven't seen you for months and I miss you."

"I can't, I haven't worn my clothes, wait up."

"No, now."

You shook your head at his stubborn behaviour. 

"I'm just on my towel Joshua."

"I won't do anything funny, open up, don't you trust me."

You opened up the door as he stumbled towards you, not expecting you to open the door. 

He closed the door behind him as he made his way towards you and as soon as he was near enough, he engulfed you in a bone crushing hug. 

"I can't believe you are really here."

He ran his fingers through your wet hair, the scent of your floral shampoo soothing his nerves. 

"But I'm here now."

You wrapped your arms around his waist as you ran your hands up and down his back. 

"Was this the reason why you asked me for the dorm address?" 

You nodded your head as you felt him give feathery kisses the moist skin of your shoulders. 

"My university recently became a part of International Partnership of Universities which gives the students of those selected universities a chance to be able to attend an university from other country and h saw that Seoul University was a part of it, so I asked my professor if I'm eligible and they said yes so here I am."

He pushed himself a bit away from you to take a good look at your face. 

"So is this the reason why you were so busy?" 

You nodded your head as he kissed your nose. 

"I wanted to surprise you but you got angry."

You pouted at him recalling how he hung up the call on your face and didn't message even once after that. You learned that he can hold a grudge very well. 

He pouted looking at your face as he leaned down to kiss your pouting lips, you encircled your arms around his neck, bringing him more closer to your body. 

"I'm sorry."

He kissed your jaw and continued to kiss you down your neck to your shoulders as you sighed, feeling your breath hitch, your skin was already so warm after just taking the shower and his kisses weren't helping ease the warmth of the room. 

He pushed you back until your back hit the way and he pulled away taking another towel from the hanger and giving it to you. 

"Dry up your hair fast otherwise you'll catch a cold, I'll see you outside."

He threw a wink in your direction and he was out of the bathroom leaving you breathless inside the bathroom clutching onto the towel as you tried your best to process what he just did.

!!!! I'm quite excited seeing you (re)play Horizon Zero Dawn. It's one of my favorite games, but I always forget it is until someone talks about it. And now I want to replay it. First of all it just looks amazing, the story is interesting, I love the characters, and the combat is fun. I can go on but I don't want this ask to be overwhelming lol In short, I love this game and am excited to continue to see you play

Ahhhhhh thank you! I’m glad someone is enjoying my ramblings at least :p You are my first ever ask by the way, so congratulations :p and never worry about going on too long, I do that all the time, as seen by my posts about this game :p

There are sooooo many things I love about this game. Before I finished, I could not have told you what my favorite game was (I’m terrible at favorites), but I decided it was this one when I finished it the first time. I’ll likely go into most of the reasons as I keep going through the game, but I’ll use this as an excuse to talk about the thing that really caught my eye first with this game: the enemy types.

So, one of the things I love in pretty much all games is variety. Variety in action, character, combat, world building, pretty much anything. With enemy types the key thing isn’t just do enemies look different, it’s does it feel different to fight them, and for most of the enemies in Horizon (at least on Ultra Hard), yes it absolutely does! Of the over two dozen different machines, most of them feel very different to fight, often requiring slightly different strategies, and that changes more when you add different types of machines as the game goes along, as their ai changes when they’re in groups. Which enemy is the priority to kill is not the same in every fight, and what weapons work best really does change how combat feels to me.

This isn’t even thinking about how stunning/terrifying they look, the really cool ai that goes into how they form herds, or how wonderfully thematic each one is once you learn about the lore behind them! All of this, at least for me, meant that fighting enemies never became stale. By the end of the game I would often avoid or run from fights, but that wasn’t because the fights would be boring, but because they were dangerous (and on ultra hard you start running out of materials).

ANYWAY sorry for the long post, I felt like I had to describe something in particular that interested me, and I made the mistake of choosing a very deep one :p I’m glad you’re enjoying it, and if you have thoughts/questions/comments, feel free to send them!! I never really get to talk about this game with anyone so I will not complain :p
