🔮🍄🦋☁🦋🍄🔮
Essence
🔮🍄🦋☁🦋🍄🔮
My name is Willow (inn nii skii akk) and I am an Indigenous woman living on the rez with my husband! I have been practicing magick for about 15 years.
I am a constantly evolving and growing eclectic witch! While I am always trying new things and excited to learn, I stick to my roots and my culture as that’s where I feel safe, happy, and most at home. These parts of me are very sacred and I like to keep certain practices between my husband and I.
I’m here because along the lines of what I’ve said, I want to expand my knowledge and branch out in new ways. I’m excited to help other people where I can!
🀧。🕯☾˖⋆🔮⋆˖☾🕯。🀣
Stuff I do
🀧。🕯☾˖⋆🔮⋆˖☾🕯。🀣
I do single card readings, from both my tarot decks and my oracle decks. I will get back to you within one week ideally. At the bottom of this post I have a list of what decks I work with, so you can request which one you are drawn to, or it’s fine if I choose something for you too! Within four days I’ll strive to have your reading done and send it to you in the messages here (post it if you’re on anon) with a picture of your card included. Please remember, I work full time in the harm reduction field and that will always be first priority.
My readings are not meant to tell you what to do, by any means! I would just like to offer a fresh perspective and help you to look at things from another side using my life experiences, my cultural beliefs and my own interpretations. I strive to be accurate but believe in keeping things as positive as possible, as I’ve learned the cards always want the best for you. So while you may sometimes hear something you don’t want to, remember there is a reason.
Information you can send me for your reading (Optional): First name/initials, your zodiac sign, first name/initials and zodiac of however else is involved.
♡ I will always do your readings with the same compassion and empathy that I have been lucky enough to receive. ♡
୭🌱♡-⋆。˚🍄-𓄹-˚ ୭🌱♡-⋆。˚🍄-𓄹-˚
EVERY CHILD MATTERS
I do have a “tip jar” set up, so if you enjoy your reading please donate what you can as all of it will go to the Orange Shirt Society, which raises awareness about survivors of residential/boarding schools as well as promotes healing of Indigenous peoples and nationwide reconciliation. This is a cause dear to my heart and which has affected my family. It’s very appreciated if you’re able to donate but remember, there is no pressure to do so! I will never ask nor expect tips for any of the work I do here.
୭🌱♡-⋆。˚🍄-𓄹-˚ ୭🌱♡-⋆。˚🍄-𓄹-˚
Please feel free to reach out if you have any questions, comments or concerns, I’d be happy to help ♡

In nature, I find solace and connection, a reminder that just as the trees stand rooted through seasons, I too am a part of the ever-unfolding of existence. I am a part of the endless creation.

Sleepover ask!!!
I wish to share with you my most embarrassing hook-up story. I will try to keep this relatively sfw as well:
So I meet this guy and go over to his house. He was an electrician which is not important to this story but I feel needs to be said. He was a blue collar man okay? He had blue collar hands and a blue collar ass. Anyway I'm at his place and it had been a while for me at that point so I was a little awkward. I sit on his couch and he's like, "what are your thoughts about Chernobyl?"
And so I'm like, what the actual fuck, but I say something like "I think it was awful."
And he's like "no! I mean that new show that's out about it."
I was like "I've never seen it."
He goes "it really puts me in the mood, mind if we put it on?" Which should have been the first red flag but Im horny so I let it pass. Fast-forward and we're doing the dirty, getting nasty with it, and neither of us hear the knock on his door bc Chernobyl is playing so fucking loud, but then we just hear his door slam open and then a cop runs in and he's like, "Are you (insert my name here)???"
As a woc I am justifiably alarmed at this point. I was like "OHMYGOD YES WHAT'S HAPPENING"
And the cop asked if I was under duress or like kidnapped or something, to which I said no, and meanwhile it's so obvious what me and the dude were doing, and CHERNOBYL IS STILL FUCKING PLAYING. Eventually the cop leaves, and it turns out I forgot to text my roommate at the time who has anxiety and spiralled and so called the cops that I was missing. The cop left and it was just ~silence~ and then the dude just turned back to Chernobyl and I gathered my stuff and left and I didn't go out again for six months. Also I physically and spiritually cannot watch Chernobyl ever again.
please please PLEASE tell me more stories about your life oh my gOD

fun little reference sheet for all the confused taz balance hoes out there
so you listened to all of taz balance and now you’re reading the graphic novel and whhaaaa these names are all different! or you started out reading the graphic novels and decided to give the podcast a try and are mixed up by who is what. have no fear.
This is a list of every difference and change in wording/names I could find in all of the graphic novels out so far - Here There Be Gerblins to Crystal Kingdom.
in case you didn’t know, the reason for all the changes is because when they started out the podcast, they were playing a pre-written campaign by Wizards of the Coast (the people who make the official DND stuff). It’s like, the basic starter kit campaign. They diverted from it pretty quickly, but the world they established in the podcast is basically the world of DND. and so, all of those names and places and spells belong to Wizards of the Coast.
So, they’re using alternate names for any official DND 5e material so they don’t get sued.
Sometimes the name is vague enough that they decide it’s fine to leave as is. e.g. levitate is still levitate. The only big one they break this rule on is zone of truth, and that’s for very good reason. I try to put when they keep the name the same for spells, since spells are the most common things that change.
Hence, I shall bring forth the list under the cut! Please let me know if you find any more!
UPDATE: now including mentions from The Eleventh Hour!
the format we’re going with is
graphic novel name = podcast name
I’m trying to put the most important stuff near the top but no promises
People/places
G’nash = Klaarg
Eversummer = Neverwinter
Haverdale = Phandalin
Bogard Stoneseeker = Gundren Rockseeker
Caggle Stoneseeker = Tharden Rockseeker
Dorb Stoneseeker = Nundro Rockseeker
Yahvvie = yeemick
Queen Morior = the raven queen (I miss this I love the raven queen so much)
Cavern of dangling death = wave echo cave
The black spider is still just the black spider - I guess its vague enough that it works
fun fact: Barry Bluejeans starts out as just Sildar Hallwinter from the box campaign but they give him a better name first episode, bc they didn’t like how Sildar Hallwinter sounded. Obvs there’s no mention of Sildar in the book.
Sazed = Philippe (from 11th hr - not a copyright change, but a name change nonetheless. I don’t know why it’s not Sazed anymore, Glamour Springs is the same and both are original creations, not WoC property)
Spells
ouch ray = magic missile (they acknowledge this one in the book)
zone of truth is still zone of truth
idk how they got away with that one

shield of faith  = shield of faith

strike divine = divine strike
slowfall = feather fall
later on in 11th hour gn, taako casts “Featherfall” with no issue (???)
celestial protector = guardian of faith
self-disguise = disguise self
dispel the dead = turn undead/destroy undead
the shattering = shatter
banish = banishment
shuffle jump = blink
dampen elements = absorb elements
blast of fire = scorching ray
later on in 11th hour gn, taako (or at least the umbrastaff) casts “Scorching Ray” with no issue (???)
magic rope = rope trick
sleepy-time = sleep
clair-vision = clairvoyance
diminish size = reduce
the spell is enlarge/reduce, and later on they use “enlarge” with no trouble - why is it “diminish size” here???
spirit steed = phantom steed
ethereal weapon = spiritual weapon
in 11th hr gn, it’s also called “armory of spirit”
gout of flames = fireball
blessings of the cherubim = prayer of healing
concussive force = concussive blast(?)
Taako uses this in the battlewagon race, but he just magic missiles the boar in the podcast
they probably wanted to spice things up a bit since magic missile kind of has a Brand.
Concussive blast is a real 3rd level evocation spell that taako would’ve been able to cast, it just doesn’t actually happen in the podcast
levitate is still levitate
how is that one ok but “sleep” has to be “sleepy-time”??
word of healing = healing word
ray of scorching oil = scorching ray(?)
we did already have that one but I can’t think of a better fit
discernment of magicks = detect magic
object location = locate object
flames of holiness = sacred flame
fire mitts = burning hands
wave of thunder = thunderwave
mystic analysis = probably meant as a stand-in for “identify”, but in the podcast he just does an arcana check.
burgle = knock
Spells cast that they don’t name in the book but are real 5e spells!
Taako uses mage hand on HTBG pg 135
Killian uses the feather duster to cast feather fall on HTBG pg 148
Merle casts light on HTBG pg 160
it doesn’t say the name, but in PTTM pg 123 taako casts “crown of madness” on the gerbil guy, which is a Horrifying spell
the crickets cast “dominate person” to control taako in PTTM in case anyone’s interested.
I can’t fucking figure out what he meant by “ghostly voice” as a spell Jenkins used. My best guess is a modified use of magic mouth, or maybe minor illusion. Makes sense, magic mouth is only 2nd level and minor illusion is a cantrip, and Jenkins is a shitty wizard.
Feats + other shit
CK - Pg 188 magnus says “berserker blitz!” which is probably a translation of “reckless attack”
Know thy enemy = know your enemy (a feat magnus gets for being a battle master archetype fighter)
Transmutation mastery = transmuter’s stone (a feat taako gets @ 6th level for being a transmutation wizard) (probably bc one dangerous rock is enough lol)
destroy undead is a toughie
it’s technically not a spell (not in the way merle is using it), it’s a use of channel divinity, and while at first it’s called turn undead, when you reach level 5 you get to automatically destroy any low-level undead (each time you level up you can destroy one level up of undead), so the ability is called destroy undead from that point onward, but you still do the turning bit too.
Ring of chilling frost = ring of frost
Loafers of leaping and springing = boots of striding and springing
Uncanny dodge (a rogue feat) is mentioned when Magnus is doing rogue training with Carey in the 11th hr gn
on their little ‘level up’ pages in the 11th hour gn, it says magnus is a 10th lvl fighter and 1st lvl rogue, then lists merle and taako as a 10th level cleric and a 10th level wizard. that would mean magnus is an 11th level character, while taako and merle are still 10th level. I don’t think that’s the case in the podcast but i could be wrong. not super important.
just a whole separate god damn paragraph for this one:
Murder on the rockport limited Pg 189 - much going on here.
The text suggests that the spell is “spare the dying” but that’s a cantrip which merle should have for free and griffin says its a “5th level spell” but he means that merle is only 4th level and he needs to be 5th level to cast this spell, not that the level of spell is 5.
At 5th level, clerics gain access to 3rd level spells, so I think he means that merle can’t cast 3rd lvl spells since he’s only 4th level. So we’re looking for a 3rd level spell that clerics can use.
It could be two spells, and I’m pretty sure I know which one it is - revivify. Technically it could also be mass healing word but I think he’d have healed taako too if that was the case, and if magnus was Dead Dead (which I don’t think he was) it wouldn’t do anything.
death in dnd is weird. If you drop to 0 hit points, you are knocked unconscious (though colloquially this is often referred to as death). You then have to make death saving throws - 3 successes you are stable, 3 fails you’re Dead Dead.
BUT
You die immediately if the damage you take minus the health you have left is more than your hit point total. So, if you go farther into the negatives than your hit point maximum, it’s insta death.
I don’t think this happened to magnus. angus survived the jump just fine. I think the boys misunderstood how death works bc it’s confusing. fair.
But the gist is merle wants to cast revivify, griffin says he’s not high enough level, they convince him, even though it wasn’t really necessary in the first place.
this exchange does not occur in the podcast. magnus falls unconscious and is healed with no problem.
a pattern I’ve noticed is as they go on, more and more things have their normal dnd names. lmk if you know why that is - maybe bc of the whole OGL/dnd one drama?

idk what kinds horror in a/b/o you mean, but i immediately thought about the subtle horror in this reylo fic called "Until You" by ever-so-reylo on ao3 (sorry if you dont like reylo. i dont. but i recognize reylo authors can be BEASTS and i just use cognitive dissonance if i need it) where it's like.. horror in the sense of how society limits and treats omegas and it's all very normalized. like the fic describes a marriage pathway, alarms on doors, omegas cant be present to hear the results of their own doctor appointment, how not getting pregnant is reason for annulment, and so on, and it's just so wildly subtle in how horrific itd be to live like this and i think the scariest part is, in parts of this world rn, there are places where women are treated very similarly to this. it's a one-shot and not super long, and Kylo/Ben/whoever isnt a dickbag or anything, he treats Rey well, and the author is good about making a distinction between "this is how it is here" and "that doesnt mean its good or ideal or warranted" which i think just adds to the horror kinda sorta, i dunno, i could see you having fun writing about a similar kinda world
regardless, id love to hear more about how youd wanna add further horror to a/b/o, bc what i was talking about was Handmaid's Tale-adjacent (not that i like Handmaid's Tale bc the author's a fucking terf and also, m'am, that IS how the world is like for many woc in various parts of the world, it isnt "even more horrifying" having it happen to white women too jfc idk if it counts as "apocalyptic" if its happening here and now and no one seems to care tho; but you get what i mean when i name-drop it however. anyway. i digress) and im curious if you mean in a monster-fucker way or sex pollen way or what, i find the concept of a/b/o + horror fascinating so, again, id LOVE to hear more pls ♡
firstly anon thank you for coming into my inbox and taking the time to share all this with me!! it is greatly appreciated!!
now to get into this!! i’m gonna put this under a cut w some warnings just in case!!
cw: sexism, mentions of violence against women/feminist horror, reylo (LMAO SORRY), a/b/o, uh romantic cannibalism, blood
i am so sorry anon i detest reylo lol. and sorry if anyone follows me and likes them </3
also i think this is very fascinating that i mentioned horror and your mind jumped to what is essentially feminist horror! not a bad thing—just something observed!!
i personally read a lot of horror outside of fanfiction and i read a lot of feminist horror specifically. or i see or have been apart of plays/theater works/etc. that feature feminist/gender horror in various ways. i write short stories that are not fanfic about this topic as well, so with fanfic, i tend to avoid this a great deal! it’s an incredibly heavy topic and for a whole year last year, i had surrounded myself in it (and acted in shows where stage violence was enacted on me by men, acted in roles where i was often in distress because of male characters, acted in emotionally straining and difficult scenes) and realized i was actually…very drained. and learned what i liked to see in these stories and what i thought was needless violence against women reiterated again and again as torture porn of some kind. but long story short, fanfic was a reprieve of that for me!!
(i know you’re thinking—but cielo! you seem to love yandere content! and you are right! but i think all my yan content i enjoy is seeped in a warped love rather than a gendered violence. not that both can’t exist. it’s sticky.)
more than that, i am also interested in a/b/o that breaks gender constructs and dynamics in ways and is not just an afab omega enduring societal and personal violence!
the horror i was mentioning more i think had to do with body horror, possession (as in, almost…demonic. spiritual.), etc.! romance as a horror. (“but the horror? the horror was for love”)
blood lust being tied to heats/ruts. an omega, feverish and in heat, slick with blood and wild eyed. some romantic cannibalism with the way a bite is for claiming. it’s vampiric. it’s a devouring.
it’s a conjoining. a possession. two souls being forcibly twisted together. the horror of having only one true mate that you cannot choose. that is, for better or for worse, only yours. the horror of not just being yourself anymore, but someone else and vice versa. your uncontrollable “other half”.
sublime heats/ruts where you cannot tell what is real or not, shaky snapshots of mind melting ache and pain, only relieved by one person. hallucinations or ailments that come from deeply lonely and isolated omegas and alphas. nightmares when it reaches a fever pitch.
omegas with needle sharp teeth and so much hunger that need to feed and take relentlessly from alphas. omegas and alphas with eyes that glow in the dark and watch too keenly.
rituals where heats/ruts are watched, the horror of bareness and vulnerability. the horror of being an animal in a human skin. of your own desire or pleasure.
also just the horror of being dependent on someone. of needing someone so greatly you’ll be sick with it. the horror of being powerless to their love. the horror of their power over you. or yours over them.
the twisted care. i am interested in strange/more uncommon dynamics; alphas who are nurturing and motherly in awful ways. who hand feed and coddle and smother. omegas who are possessive and violent towards other alphas or omegas.
i just think there is A LOT that could be played with. thought of. messed around with.
i also think we don’t see enough historical au with a/b/o….i’m thinking also gothic-style. western man vs. nature. cowboy a/b/o…victorian…ancient civilization….etc.
anyways, i hope you don’t take this as me like scolding you or hating on what you’ve said in any way—defs not that!! i just had a different sort of horror in mind!! like i said, fanfic for me is all about romance at its core! it’s a reprieve and escape from the work and art that often is very serious and heavy (whether feminist/gender horror, capitalist horror, etc. etc.) that i usually spend my time creating or apart of in my day to day life! it’s deeply important work to me, just not something i wanna do here really!!

I do not know why I have to prove to how white feminists have been justifying colonization FOREVER by using misogyny against Indian women by Indian men as a justified form of explanation!
Please stop acting like woc are some crazy liars and too aggressive or dramatic for pointing racism in feminist spaces out.
@bittern-badfem-harpy
You can literally just search up white feminists and colonial india on Google or any similar keywords to know what I am talking about. This is literally one of the most popular central arguments in Indian feminist work around colonial period and the imperialism that ensued post independence.
I am not going to spoon feed you to read and understand theory now.
Why do white women always have to act like we're lying about the racism we face in their spaces?
Also you're literally proving my point here.
"Forced to endure pieces of metal jabbed onto their bodies for ornamental purposes"
You can just say you think we're savages please the way you're acting like it's such an excruciating experience when it's not.
It's bad. It's wrong but not only are we fine you are exaggerating shit too much.
Also we don't have those "pieces of metal jabbed" for ornamental purposes. This is such an oversimplification of why it actually happens.
There are religious reasons behind it (not relating to female oppression but more spiritual reasons).
But you're surely going to ignore it aren't you because it doesn't serve your narrative that this is a traditionally patriarchal activity? (When it's factually not)
And the tags are a fucking joke and proof modern radfems don't read anything. What 21st radical feminists (in Western countries) oppose imperialism?
Rather it were older feminists like Carol Hanisch and Susan Brownmiller who formed the anti imperialist+ anti capitalist tenets in radical feminism 🤦🏽‍♀️🤦🏽‍♀️
