“What are we doing here?” You look around thinking that maybe you missed something.

“You know that you mean the world to me, right?” Your heart starts hammering in your chest again, your grip on your clutch purse growing tighter as embarrassment washes over you again. 

“I know, I’m sorry I should’ve asked you instead of drawing conclusions.” 

“Don’t apologize, you were being protective of what’s yours.” Hyunjin takes a couple of steps towards you, one hand sliding into the pocket of his brown designer pants.

AITA for ignoring my friend (? idrk where we r now in friendship terms)

So basically I (14F) was gonna eat with my friend (14F) during lunch period at school, my other friend (14M, lets call him A) texted me and said ‘hey do u wanna sit with me?’ and i responded with ‘sorry i’m sitting with my other friend today !!!’ and then put my phone away (my phone is on silent btw so i didn’t hear them send me any texts other than that) so i thought that was that cause they are a pretty understanding friend and i went to go eat lunch.

In 3rd period after lunch and before it fully started I checked my phone and saw that A texted me some more, I checked the text they sent and it said ‘wow so u only sit with me when it’s convenient for u???’ (for context: i used to sit with these 2 guys during lunch but then one day both of them were sick for a bit so i decided to eat in the stairwells cause i usually ate with them in the cafeteria but the cafeteria is pretty noisy so i only went there to sit with them and ended up finding A in the stairwell and decided to sit with him, and the day before this happened I went to sit with A again but he was at a meeting for a school club thingy) and i responded with ‘i promised my friend that i sat with today that i would sit with them today and me and them haven’t seen eachother for a while !! sorry for responding so late i didn’t see this until now’ and i thought that was that, i will admit i did lie a little in that text with the ‘i promised them’ bit but that was because i knew if i didn’t already have a reason A would be kinda annoying about it, anyways, after i sent that period 3 started and i put down my phone but in the middle of class they sent me a 2 short messages and 1 long message that basically went like ‘ok yeah sure *name*’ ‘k’ and ‘you know i sit fucking alone every single day and when i ask my friend if she wants to sit with me and she says no and doesn’t even invite me to sit with her and her other friend it really fucking hurts’ but i didn’t see that message until 4th period.

So during 4th period (it’s kinda a free period for me like a catch up thing like if u have any work from period 1-3 u do it here but i usually don’t have work so the teacher lets me go on my phone) i went on my phone and saw this, i didn’t know how to respond to it but eventually i did and was like ‘sorry i didn’t know u wanted me to invite u ???? me and my friend were eating lunch in one of the classrooms and idk if the teacher has a thing about people who aren’t in that class who have been invited inviting other kids or something but u didnt imply that u wanted me to invite u but u could’ve just asked and i would’ve asked the teacher and if the teacher allowed it i would also invite u so i’m kinda confused by ur message’ then they sent me a super long texted that was basically the ‘i sit alone’ text just longer and also them being like ‘and ur just saying that u would invite me to be nice but ik if u asked u wouldn’t’ and also im kinda confused cause when we do sit together we just go on our phones and watch like yt videos the most we do is me offering them a pringle and saying bye when the bell rings anyways i sent them another text that was like ‘i don’t think im gonna respond to u anymore after i send this because i feel like it’ll just cause an even bigger argument than what’s happening now’ and silenced notifs from them.

After this while doing something else i went to go text my dad and saw that they sent me ‘i feel like after what happened at *amusement park name here* u genuinely hate me’ (for context what happened at there was i invited them to go to an amusement park with me and they said yes but it turns out they don’t like rollercoasters and i really like rollercoasters so my mom who was there with us was like ‘i’m gonna stay with A and u can do rollercoaster stuff’ so i did and apparently while i was on a rollercoaster he started having a panic attack and my mom said something to him which cause him to spiral even deeper and i saw them after i got off the ride and didn’t realize what was going on and started talking about how fun it was until he audibly started crying then i realized and we had to cut the day short and drive him home but he texted me being like ‘i don’t think we can be friends anymore cause of what ur mom said’ but won’t tell me what my mom said but we made up) and i haven’t responded to him but i did tell ONLY my friend that i did sit with and only her about this and i kinda feel guilty for ignoring him and telling her and she ended finding out who it was even though i never said his name cause they have period 2 together and she hated him even before i told her about this mess and now i don’t know what to do other than ignore his texts and try to avoid him during school

my first playthrough i got the white arabian and i named her Lemoyne Tree as a tribute to the state of Lemoyne and my favorite post malone song Lemon Tree. But she always got super dirty so i then went to the lake next to Strawberry and tamed the red chestnut arabian. Charles deserves the absolute world. just listening to him speak and hanging out with him at camp, and the missions you continue on to do with him throughout the game are so much fun. charles is someone i wish i could have in my real life because he seems like he would be the best person to speak to and hang out with. he is so lovely and down to earth. even arthur says it a couple times throughout the game. charles gets a good ending i promise.

I HAVE BEEN INSPIRED TO TALK ABOUT MY CATHAL INTERP

ok hi wow i'm posting something that isn't what i usually do but i want to share because. idk i'm autistic abt cathal and my personal interp could be taken as a mischaracterization(?) of the character so i want to ramble. it's a mix of projections, my interpretations of things cathal says/does, and headcanons. this is just gonna be a glorified bulletpoint list with little to no organization im so sorry. this obviously be inspired by this post cause i love it so much i'm rotating it in my mind please go check it out. this whole ramble was supposed to go into the tags of that post but i think i can organize it better in a text post. i can also share it easier. but please go read that post if u haven't :D

first things first, cathal is depressed.

ain't that a shocker? he's been depressed for a while, but it never really got to "i don't want to do anything ever" until he was hired at C.O.G.S. inc., and even then it's not really the main reason. it does make it hard for him to do things that he's asked of. he's not incapable of doing things though, unless he's like. super unmotivated or sad.

cathal is a papa's boy.

he loves his dad. ever since he was a kid, he's loved his dad. he appreciates the patience he has with him, he appreciates that his dad is willing to take hit for him not doing his work, his dad is first and foremost in his mind. his dad comes before his own wellbeing. which goes into my next point well...

seeing his dad being destroyed every day hurts cathal bad.

it is the main reason he hates working at C.O.G.S. inc.. yeah, the work sucks, it leaves him drained most of the time (which i will hit later), but the fact that he has to watch his own father basically fall to his death every day makes it all so much worse. not to mention he has a clear view of it from his office.

how does cathal cope with this stuff?

by distracting himself. and not doing his work at all. the work he has to do already drains him and what little energy his depression gives him, but i don't think seeing your dad dying every day helps with motivation. he distracts himself by watching tv and ignoring what he needs to do.

this is not to say that he is unaware of the work he has to do, he knows all the work he puts off piles up on him. but piles of work doesn't seem like the most easy thing to do... so he just keeps putting it off and putting it off, and his dad lets him get away with it by making excuses for him. it stresses him out, which makes him not want to do it more, and the cycle continues...

also believe it or not, cathal actually thinks about the future and is very stressed about it.

he knows that when his dad either retires or... can't work anymore, cathal's going to be the new department lead. and because he has literally no experience working where he is now. he's scared he's gonna get thrown into work he doesn't know how to do or doesn't want to do.

so why did cathal apply at C.O.G.S. inc. in the first place?

short answer, he wanted to make his dad proud and didn't process the gravity of applying to C.O.G.S. inc.. he didn't think it would take so much effort and energy to work a full time job. but now that he's been in it for a while, he's afraid to quit. he doesn't want to upset his dad or make the lack of work he's done worse by throwing it on others.

So the thing with gym is that I was going for a good week and then i fell sick. and it kept happening back and forth until I got tired and irritated and said that i need to be consistent. And honestly? I love going to the place as well ! Plus I needed to get more muscle in cause... I wanna be able to lift more heavy objects. So me and my roommate were lifting this really heavy box and I couldn't get it over my head and nearly busted my skull but luckily they're stronger and taller than me so I was safe; I don't want to experience that again and that's why i decided to go to the gym. that and for mental stability and being fit as well ᕙ( •̀ ᗜ •́ )ᕗ

My classes do get in the way of me going to gym and studies take up my time too and that's why i balance everything. Priorities take first place, write little everyday and when its ready, I post it.

He was sat there, picking at what looked like a strawberry cake. Next to him, was a freckled boy. The duality in the energy between the two was almost ironic. To think that a cold, indifferent loner like Tsukishima would willingly tolerate a bubbly, enthusiastic and easily flustered boy like freckles over there, it was kind of funny to look at.

“Mai? Earth to Mai?”

“(Y/n), baby, I’m sorry but you’ve gotta be either on the bottom of the school hierarchy scale, which I’m sure you aren’t, or have been living under a rock your entire life. Do you know how many of us girls would kill to be of any use to him? He’s hot, rich, and smart, he’s Mr. Fucking Perfect!”

You took another peek towards Tsukishima. It’s only been about half a minute and he’s already got a crowd of girls surrounding his table. He continued to devour the cake, not paying any mind to the harem situation he was in. One of the girls slapped his back, causing him to jerk forward and drop the piece of cake in his fork. You stifled a tiny snicker, feeling slightly bad for him, but at the same time extremely amused by the situation.

“I know he’s all popular and stuff but it’s no big deal, he doesn’t even know who I am. I helped him out once and that’s it, he probably doesn’t even remember.”

Rapidly firing awkward hand gestures, along with excessive noises, Mai grabbed your sleeve, shooting straight up and dragging you to the girls’ restroom. Slamming the door shut, she put her two hands to her temples, rubbing circles into the two sides of her head. Her eyes looked like they were about to pop out of her eye sockets. Abruptly, she spun around to face you, almost hitting her forehead against yours. You flinched, holding out your hands protectively to shield your face as you stared at your friend in concern. She took a hold of your shoulders, looking you dead straight in the eye with unwavering determination.

“What did you help him with yesterday (Y/n)?”

“I don’t really think I’m in the position to tell you-”

“Okay but did you touch him?”

“What?”

“(Y/n), did you make contact with him or not?”

Mai’s grip on your shoulders was deathly tight. It was clear that you weren’t going anywhere until you told her what had happened the day before. Sighing to yourself, you scratched your head, surrendering to her.

“I mean I grabbed his arm and pat his back, that’s about it.”

Her hands flew straight off your shoulders and were slapped over her mouth. From looking at her cheeks, you could make out a huge smile from under her hands. A high pitched chuckle, followed by more muffled, but high pitched laughs came out of her mouth as you perked your brow in confusion.

“Oh, oh (Y/n), baby boo I’m so proud of you!”

“Wha- what the fuck are you talking about?”

“You got to touch him? Do you understand how incredibly fortunate you are?”

Cringing at her words, you slowly shook your head.

“No? I don’t?”

“Just go home later and think about it yourself, okay? God, what a lucky bitch... you’re lucky I’m your friend and the only one that knows! If any of his fangirls found out, you’d be dead by sunrise.”

Pushing you out of the restroom, she sat down at her lunch table as if the talk you guys just had never happened. However she would occasionally give you a look, before eyeing Tsukishima, who at this point was just going through his phone, then back at you again. Starting to get annoyed and quite frankly embarrassed, you slammed your hands onto the table, before grabbing your almost untouched tray of food, and throwing it out. The cafeteria stared as you stomped to your seat, grabbed your bag, and stormed out. However, apart from being embarrassed and irritated, those weren’t the main reasons why you left the cafeteria. You were guilty. You felt bad for lying. God if Mai were to ever find out you left out such a juicy detail she would absolutely kill you.

Because you still couldn’t get the thought of him out of your head.

Last night, you laid in bed trying to sleep, but so many questions were made after that encounter. Who was he? Why did that seem like the first time you had ever seen him?

It was now midnight, and you were in the exact same state as last night. Giving it a bit of thought, you realised that he was probably always here. His presence was so nonexistent to you that you never even noticed him. You would see an extra tall classmate under the tree at times, scribbling in a notebook or whatever. A tuft of blond hair amongst a sea of students during an assembly. A pair of glasses on the lab table, followed by a boy scrambling back for it. Those were the questions you had yesterday.
