On his way to the Volturi, he meets a girl who looks exactly like her.
MASTERLIST CULLENS
-------------------------------------------------------
I've waited a hundred years
But I'd wait a million more for you
Nothing prepared me for
What the privilege of being yours would do
Edward regretted everything. He never knew spending time with Bella would cause y/n to lose her life, he never got to tell her how much he loved her. He never got to tell her, he wanted to be with her for the rest of his life. He never told her, she was his mate. Victoria chose to hurt y/n, a warning to Edward that she will be back for the revenge of her dead mate, James. He didn't know she would kill y/n, he thought the most she would do was turn her. But as the saying goes, a life for a life. Edward grieved for her everyday, his heart felt heavy, it was like he lost himself. He left Forks leaving everything behind, he was hoping the Volturi would end his pain. And off to Italy he went. Edward thought he saw her, but it was just a tourist. Everywhere he turned, he saw flashes of y/n. Her long h/c hair and bright e/c eye were something he would miss seeing everyday. Why did he think it was a good idea to be with Bella when Victoria was on the loose? Edward blamed himself for everything, if only he had spent the night with y/n instead, they could have watch a movie, read a book together. Anything would have been fine, spending time with her was all that had mattered to him.
If I had only felt the warmth within your touch
If I had only seen how you smile when you blush
Or how you curl your lip when you concentrate enough
I would have known what I was living for all along
Italy was a beautiful place, but all the red cloaks around Edward made him feel on edge. The Volturi were planning something but he didn't care to acknowledge it. He walked into the building, Felix and Demetri were waiting for him. They escorted Edward to the three vampire leader: Aro, Marcus and Caius. Aro, as usual, looked joyed to see the young fledgling stand before him. "Oh look at what we have here, young Edward Cullen. What might you need?" Aro's cold voice ripped through the air, his red beady staring intensely at Edward's form. Before he could tell them why he was here, a young girl came in, her black and red cloak sitting loosely on her shoulders. "I'm sorry to interrupt your meeting, but I need to speak to you, Aro." The confidence in her voice reminded Edward of his lost love. The young vampire even looked like her too. Wait. Was that y/n? Before he knew what he was doing, Edward was stood beside her. Her face in his hands as he examined every inch of her, it was her, it had to be. The young vampire was surprise, no one has ever reacted to her like that before. "Do you want us to remove him, Celeste?" With a flick of her hand, both her and Edward disappeared into thin air.
What I've been living for
Your love is my turning page
Where only the sweetest words remain
Every kiss in a cursive line
Every touch is a redefining phrase
They were now in a room, it had wall length bookshelves, a dark red leather arm chair and a piano. Edward notice something on the arm chair, a book that y/n loved to read: To the Lighthouse. She would go on for hours about how Virginia Wolf was an amazing writer and how he could've met her and he wouldn't have known. Edward smiled at the memory, picking up the book and flipping through it. A note fell out of it, he picked it up about to read it but a hand snatched it from him. "Did I allow you to touch my prized possession?" He knew the question was rhetorical, so he just hung his head low trying his best to avoid eye contact. The young girl sighed, she felt bad for hurting his feeling but he needs to learn boundaries and not go touching someone else's things. "I'm sorry for you loss, I know she meant a lot to you." Edward's head snaps up, his eyes trained on the girl in front of him. How did she know about y/n? Were the Volturi behind her death? "She was my sister, Edward. She would send me letters every month, telling me all about you. I was happy she found someone to love her, but y/n always thought you didn't love them back because of that human girl." If he could cry right now, he would be on the floor sobbing his heart out. How did he not know y/n's sister was Celeste? One of the most powerful members of the Volturi?
I surrender who I've been for who you are
For nothing makes me stronger than your fragile heart
If I had only felt how it feels to be yours
Well, I would have known what I've been living for all along
What I've been living for
They spent hours together, talking about their memories with y/n. It felt nice being able to talk to someone about her, Celeste wasn't able to see her sister, in fear of Aro or Caius killing her for finding out about vampires. "There was this one time when were we little, our mother was making us something to eat for lunch and y/n being the rebellious one out of us, she ran around the whole house getting mud and grass everywhere. Our mother was not proud." Soft giggles fell from her lips, Edward saw pieces of his mate in her, they were like one soul put into two people. He enjoyed being around her, it made him feel a little better, it was like he still had y/n with him. Celeste handed Edward the note she snatched from him earlier, she told him y/n wrote it for him. With that, she left, giving him space to read it alone.
"Dear Eddie,
If you're reading this, something has happened to me but fear not! I'm still here, well at least my soul is. I just wanted to write this for you so you will still have something of me when I'm gone. I love you, I always have. From the first moment I met you in the forest, I knew we were meant to be, you brought so much love into my life and I'm forever grateful. I'm sorry I can't be here with you right now, I know it's tough but you're strong, Eddie. I'll always be looking over you. I'm so proud of you, you've achieved so much throughout your life, you are the most astonishing boy I've ever had the privilege of knowing. Keep living your life, Edward, you're needed in this world. You will have a family one day and I promise you, I will never leave your side. Don't think of this as a goodbye, just think of it as I'm visiting my mom for a little while and we will be reunited in no time. I love you, Eddie, please never forget that.
Lots of love,
Y/N xx"
The pain Edward felt in his chest was unbearable, all he wanted to do was scream and cry to his hearts content. He would live for her, those were her wishes and he wouldn't go against them.
Though we're tethered to the story we must tell
When I saw you, well I knew we'd tell it well
With a whisper, we will tame the vicious seas
Like a feather, bringing kingdoms to their knees
-------------------------------------------------------
Random story I wrote awhile back, it's just been sitting in my drafts so I thought I might publish it and see how it goes. I hope you enjoyed reading it, have a lovely day/night !

The grand entrance hall of Volterra, Italy, echoed with the weight of centuries-old secrets and power. It was within these ancient stone walls that the Volturi, the ruling vampire coven, held their dominion. Aro, Caius, and Marcus, the three elder vampires who led the coven, sat upon their thrones, their crimson eyes filled with an ageless wisdom.
Their previous secretary had met an unfortunate end, her fate sealed by a single, costly mistake. Now, it was time to find a new secretary, one who could handle the delicate matters that crossed the Volturi's path.
(Y/n), a human with a reputation for competence and diligence, stood before the Volturi leaders. She pushed her glasses up on her face, the light catching the lenses and reflecting an intense determination in her gaze. She had no intention of failing in this prestigious role.
Aro, the most talkative of the trio, addressed her with a smile that didn't reach his eyes. "I trust you won't follow in our previous secretary's footsteps. Her errors cost her dearly."
(Y/n) met Aro's gaze with unwavering confidence. "No need for the warning, sir. I take my work very seriously. I'm here to ensure that every detail is meticulously attended to."
Caius observed her with a critical eye, his expression stern. "You are aware that our affairs are highly confidential, and discretion is of the utmost importance?"
(Y/n) nodded, her resolve unshaken. "Absolutely, sir. My lips are sealed, and I understand the consequences of breaching that trust."
Marcus, the most reserved of the three, merely regarded her with a measured gaze. "We shall see if your actions align with your words."
(Y/n) straightened her posture, ready to take on her new responsibilities. "You won't be disappointed, gentlemen."
With that, she accepted the role of secretary for the Volturi, stepping into a world of secrecy, power, and ancient vampires. As she walked away, she knew that she had taken on a role unlike any other, one that demanded her utmost dedication and discretion. The reflection of her determination in those glasses was a symbol of the resolve she brought to her new position, one that she intended to uphold at all costs.
(Y/n) settled into her new role as the secretary for the Volturi with a fierce dedication. Her efficiency and attention to detail quickly became apparent to the coven's leaders. Aro, always one to appreciate those who could fulfill his demands promptly, decided to put her to the test.
One afternoon, he strolled into her office, his graceful presence demanding attention. (Y/n) looked up from her desk, her fingers flying across the keyboard of her computer as she organized files and scheduled appointments.
"Ah, (Y/n)," Aro greeted her with his customary smile. "I have a task for you."
(Y/n) nodded, ready to take on any request from her employer. "Of course, master Aro. What do you need?"
Aro explained, "I need you to post an aid about a tour for fifty people for tomorrows feeding, a rather impromptu event. I would like you to schedule it for me.”
(Y/n) didn't miss a beat. She continued typing on her computer, her eyes darting across the screen as she worked her magic with scheduling software. "Consider it done, master Aro."
Aro was taken aback by her speed and efficiency. He had expected this task to take some time, but within mere minutes, (Y/n) turned her screen toward him, displaying a perfectly organized tour for fifty attendees, complete with dates, times, and an itinerary.
His crimson eyes widened with a mixture of surprise and admiration. "You work remarkably fast, (Y/n)."
(Y/n) looked up with a confident smile. "I pride myself on being efficient, master aro. Is there anything else you need?"
Aro chuckled, clearly impressed. "Not at the moment, my dear. Carry on with your excellent work."
As he left her office, (Y/n) couldn't help but feel a sense of satisfaction. She had proven her worth to the Volturi leader, and her efficiency would undoubtedly serve her well in this world of secrecy and power.
In the serene garden of the Volturi castle, Marcus often found solace among the flowers that his late mate had once lovingly tended to. He wandered the garden, lost in his own thoughts, the weight of his immortal life bearing down on him.
One day, as he strolled along the carefully manicured paths, Marcus noticed something extraordinary. The flowers that had once withered away had begun to regrow, vibrant and beautiful as if brought back to life by some unseen force. He couldn't help but be struck by the sight, the memories of his mate's love for these flowers flooding his mind.
Marcus approached a lower guard who was on duty nearby, his curiosity piqued. "Who has been taking care of the garden? These flowers, they are flourishing once more."
The lower guard, a vampire who had served the Volturi for centuries, nodded respectfully to Marcus. "It is the human, my lord."
"The human?" Marcus asked, intrigued. "What is their name?"
The guard, who knew the human by the name the Volturi called her, replied, "The secretary (Y/n), my lord."
Marcus considered this revelation, the name sparking a distant memory. He had heard the name (Y/n) mentioned in passing, but he had paid little attention. Now, it seemed this human was not only tending to the garden but also reviving the memories of his lost mate.
With a nod of appreciation, Marcus continued to admire the blooming flowers, a silent acknowledgment of the human named (Y/n) for her care and dedication. In the garden, among the resurrected blooms, he felt a connection to his past and a glimmer of hope for the future, all thanks to the efforts of this mysterious human.
In the dimly lit halls of the Volturi castle, Caius, one of the coven's leaders, was growing increasingly frustrated. He had been searching for his favorite cloak, a luxurious garment of deep crimson, for what felt like an eternity. His irritation had escalated to the point where his voice echoed through the corridors as he yelled at everyone in his path.
"Where is it? Who has taken my cloak?" he bellowed, his tone venomous.
Vampires scurried to avoid his wrath, their wide-eyed expressions betraying their fear of their temperamental leader.
In the midst of the chaos, a soft and calm voice cut through the tension. "(Y/n)," Caius snapped, his crimson eyes narrowing as he turned to face the human secretary, "(Y/n), have you seen my cloak? I cannot find it anywhere."
(Y/n) stepped forward, holding Caius's missing cloak draped carefully over her arm. Her voice was composed, unruffled by his outburst. "Master Caius, you left this in your office. I've noticed it had specks of dried blood on it, so I've had it dried clean."
Caius was momentarily taken aback, his anger dissipating as he processed her words. He couldn't believe it. The usually distant and indifferent human secretary had not only found his cloak but had taken it upon herself to ensure it was cleaned.
"(Y/n)," Caius said, his voice softer now, "you did this for me?"
(Y/n) nodded, her gaze steady as she met his crimson eyes. "Of course, Master Caius. It's my duty to assist in any way I can."
Caius, still in disbelief, reached out to take the cloak from her arm. His fingers brushed against hers, and he felt a strange, unfamiliar sensation stir within him. He couldn't deny that her thoughtfulness had left a mark on him, one that he couldn't easily dismiss.
As (Y/n) excused herself and left the hallway, Caius watched her retreating figure with a newfound appreciation. It was a small gesture, but one that had touched him deeply, and he couldn't help but wonder if there was more to this human secretary than met the eye.
The grand trial room within the Volturi castle was filled with a weighty silence as the three kings, Aro, Caius, and Marcus, gathered for a discussion. The subject of their conversation was none other than their human secretary, (Y/n).
"She's good at her job, almost too damn good," Aro commented, his eyes gleaming with intrigue. "I can't seem to find a simple mistake in her work."
Caius nodded in agreement. "She's quick, and her work is effective. It seems we'll be keeping her around long-term."
Marcus, who often remained silent, offered his approval with a subtle nod.
The kings reached a unanimous decision. They would offer (Y/n) a gift, one that would bind her to the Volturi for eternity. They sent their most trusted enforcers, the twins Alec and Jane, to fetch her.
Alec and Jane, swift and efficient as always, found (Y/n) in her office. They approached her with the precision of a well-practiced routine.
"(Y/n)," Alec began, his tone even, "the masters request your presence in the trial room."
(Y/n) blinked in surprise but complied, following the twins to the room where the three kings awaited.
Once inside, (Y/n) stood before the Volturi leaders, her heart pounding with anticipation. Aro spoke first, his voice dripping with charm.
"(Y/n), in the short months you have been with us, your dedication and efficiency have impressed us greatly," Aro said, his crimson eyes locked onto hers. "We value your contributions, and we would like to offer you a gift."
(Y/n) couldn't hide her surprise. "A gift, masters?"
Caius stepped forward, his gaze unwavering. "We offer you immortality, (Y/n). A chance to join our coven as one of us."
The offer hung in the air, a life-altering decision that (Y/n) had never expected. She considered her options carefully, her thoughts racing. The weight of eternity was a heavy burden to bear, but the allure of becoming part of the Volturi coven was undeniable.
After a moment of reflection, (Y/n) finally spoke. "I'm not sure what to say, masters, but thank you for the offer."
With her acceptance, the kings nodded in approval. The twins, Alec and Jane, moved closer, their hands lightly touching her body. “Alec -“ aro calls out and in second Alec has (y/n) wrapped in his dark smoke, her senses numbing within seconds. “Don’t worry dear, it’ll be over in no time.”
Over the course of three days, (Y/n) underwent the agonizing process of the vampire transformation. She endured the fire of change, sometimes which were numbed by Alec per the kings request and now she was emerging from the ordeal as a newborn vampire, her senses heightened and her existence forever entwined with the Volturi.
As her eyes fluttered open in her new immortal life, (Y/n) realized that she had become a permanent part of the Volturi coven, her loyalty and dedication recognized in the most profound way possible.

Could I get some headcanons on Caius with a long-term mate? Like, they’ve known each other since they were fledglings and are one of the most solid, oldest couples in Volterra. Gender neutral reader please? Thank you!
Yes, yes, absolutely yes!
Warnings: none
Caius having a long-term mate
Tumblr media
One thing is certain: the other two kings respect Caius' mate. The majority of the vampires in the palazzo have been turned much later in time and are not as old as the kings themselves, but Caius' mate has been there with them from the start. It would be difficult to break that bond.
I can imagine his beloved being the one that urged him to create more artworks when he first started out painting. They would watch him try out various mediums over the centuries and still manage to create something beautiful.
Same goes for Caius. If his mate is particularly interested in something artistic, he would encourage them to pursue it. Money is no objective after all. He would watch them get better and better over time and smile to himself, knowing that he was their biggest supporter.
The guards respect all of their masters, but they have a special fondness for the old couple. It seems as though they are constantly filled with wonder as they watch them walk down the hallways.
However, things were very different in the early years of their relationship. It took a lot of time to form the Volturi and continually be at odds with the other covens, and the couple barely had time for each other. And yet even in those times, they found solace in each other's arms.
Caius' partner has most likely seen most of the world's wonders alongside him. He enjoys traveling and usually takes his partner with him. So, indeed, they have spent their eternal lives discovering Earth's wonders. They traveled to numerous locations over the years that have now been destroyed.
I would guess that Caius' mate was fluent in several languages, as are all of the Volturi masters. That would imply that they enjoy conversing in other languages. Sometimes they would speak in multiple languages at once. Caius could start the conversation in german, and his mate could continue in turkish. They would understand each other of course.
While most of the time Caius would stick to the classic petnames (like love, dear, darling, etc.), he might give them a nickname in another language.
He is a fantastic chess player and would definitely convince his beloved to play with him. The problem is that he's really competitive. So he would do his best to beat them in the game.
They have also met many of the great artists of all time together. Da Vinci, Mozart, Tchaikovsky, Rembrandt? They have all seen them from at least a distance.
Caius would paint so many portraits of his mate. There is now a whole room filled with the works he painted throughout the years. Even though it's typically shut off from the other inhabitants, his beloved is always welcome there.
On nights when Caius is very sentimental, he would tell his mate how their features remind him of various things. Like their eyes remind him of the finest pomegranate, their hair of the darkness of night/the familiarity of a wheat field/the trees of the forest/etc. He always describes it in a way that would make poets jealous.
The two have such a deep understanding of each other. They don't even need to communicate in words, because they have both picked up on the other's mannerisms. Caius really appreciates having found his mate so early because he cannot imagine his immortal life without this connection and understanding.
All I can say is that this is a beautiful relationship.

New Life
Demetri x Fem!Reader
Summary: You were new to this life. A life sustained on blood. There were only two rules you had been taught: 1. Don't expose your kind. 2. Never attract the attention of the Volturi.
Warnings:
Kinda-sorta-fluff?
Angsty-ish
Word Count: 1400+
Requested?:Yes! @pooka167 I hope you like it!
Heya, thanks for adding me to your taglist! Could I please request a demetri fic (he currently has a chokehold on me, and I blame my adhd brain for picking the most random things to fixate on🤣) where he meets them by chance while on his way back from a mission for the volturi and the reader is a newborn vampire who's very confused about being a vampire but also a little nervous as the person who turned them had explained the volturi and stuff and they freak out thinking they broke a rule without realising it and Demetri reassures them and takes them back to volterra with him to be a part of the volturi? Thank you 💖💖
A/N: This was fun to write.
Tumblr media
I was a mistake, he told me. He thought I was gifted. He thought I would make an excellent addition to his coven. The only thing, he said to me, was that at least I was pretty. And even then I was rather mediocre-looking by vampire standards.
I had wanted to cry then. But vampires can't cry of course. This- this man, had cursed me with an immortal life, only sustained by drinking the blood of others. I couldn't even kill myself if I wanted to. So now I was stuck. Forever nineteen and cursed with a burning in my throat that would never subside.
All because he thought I had been gifted.
Instead, I was about as ordinary as one could be. He had wasted his time seducing me. But I suppose time wasn't really relevant for someone who lived for eternity. And for someone who never slept.
That's what I missed the most from my old life. Sleep. I missed being able to turn off my brain. To dream. That and food. Sadly the smell of human food made me gag now. But the thought of taking a human life also made me queasy.
I had a rather substantial amount of control as a newborn. At least that's what I had been told. But in the 5 months I had been a vampire, I'd had my fair share of slip-ups.
Three weeks ago, Nathan finally decided I was useless and left me with one warning. Don't expose yourself or attract the attention of the Volturi.
He had made the consequences very clear if I were to do either.
Since then it had been a struggle. Finding a place to hide and keeping myself in check. I had a hard time taking the lives of innocents, so instead I turned to looking for criminals, which is easier than anyone would think.
But I had lost control twice. I squeezed my eyes shut at the thought. A had wiped out a whole family the second time. I wanted to gag as venom filled my mouth at the thought. I'd had a sense of mind to make it look like a house fire in the end and then fled the area.
I was in a new town now and had holed up in a warehouse for the night, the sounds of the water of the empty harbor lulled me into a sense of peace.
Until I heard footsteps.
My eyes popped open and my nose flared in alarm. If they were a human they would be dead. The burning in my throat was too much. My control was this close to snapping. I was suddenly on my haunches, hissing softly.
But... it wasn't a human, although whatever it was... smelled absolutely divine. I couldn't put my finger on the exact smell. Only that I really liked it. Pine mixed with... amber, maybe?
It had to be another vampire.
And it was.
"Well, what do we have here?"
My eyes widened at the sight of him. Outside of Nathan, I had never met another vampire. This man was beautiful, with dirty blonde hair, thin lips, and rather angular face. And his eyes were a stunning red.
And his voice...
I met his gaze, feeling a warmth spread through me. I couldn't remember the last time I had felt warmth.
I stood slowly, watching as he gazed at me, mouth slightly agape.
"I have waited centuries for you." He whispered, stunned.
My eyes widened in surprise, and I felt both flustered and confused. Then I caught sight of the necklace around his neck. An intricate 'V' crest.
If I had a beating heart I'm sure it would have slammed out of my chest. I flew backward into the wall, creating a human-shaped imprint before causing it to crumble around me.
The man looked shocked, holding his hands up in surrender.
"I- I promise I haven't done anything. I haven't exposed our kind- I burned- I made it look like a house fire. I promise there was nothing left."
He just gave me a confused look, approaching me cautiously, his hands still out until he was right before me. He squatted down next to me and I cringed away.
"You're not in trouble, love." His voice drifted over me soothingly.
I stared at him warily, despite my body's protests to relax.
"I'm not here to hurt you."
"But- but." My eyes glanced back down to the crest around his neck and he took notice. "Aren't you a part of the Volturi? Aren't you here about the family I killed last week? I'm so sorry-"
"Please relax. I'm not here to punish you for anything. I don't even know what you're talking about, love."
When I still wouldn't relax he held his hand out to me.
"I am Demetri. It is lovely to meet you...?"
I reluctantly took his hand, and if I had still been human I would have blushed violently when he kissed my hand.
"Y- Y/N." I stuttered.
"Y/N."
I really liked the way he said my name.
"Demetri?" A new, deeper voice sounded from behind this… Demetri.
I jumped and cursed myself for not being more aware.
"Just a moment, Felix. I have found something- someone extraordinary."
"Oh?"
Felix came into sight and my eyes nearly bugged out of my head. He was huge. Easily the biggest man I had ever seen. And my eyes didn't miss the golden crest hanging from his neck.
He furrowed his eyebrows as he scanned me. "How old are you?"
"Nineteen."
"I mean in vampiric years. When were you changed?"
I paused, still eyeing him warily. Demetri gave my hand a gentle squeeze.
"Five months. I was changed five months ago,"
"Five months??" Demetri's mouth dropped open in surprise before snapping shut angrily.
I flinched backwards, taking my hand back. He caught himself and relaxed.
"I'm sorry, love. You have done nothing wrong. But why are you on your own? Where is your sire?"
"He left me."
"Left you?" Felix asked.
"Yes. Three weeks ago."
Demetri looked absolutely livid.
"He left you, a newborn, on their own?"
I chewed my lip and his eyes zeroed in on them, his beautiful red eyes darkening a little.
"Who is your sire? Why did he leave?" Felix murmured.
I looked down at my knees guiltily, picking at my worn jeans. Suddenly I was very aware of how disgusting I must appear to them. To Demetri. I shook my head, warmth filling me again at just the thought of him.
"Y/N?"
Demetri's hand appeared over my own, stopping my fidgeting.
"His name is Nathan. I'm not sure where he is now. He- he changed me because he thought I had a gift, but when- when it turned out I didn't…" I blinked harshly at the venom pooling in my eyes. "He left me. He only allows those that are gifted in his coven."
Demetri hissed angrily before taking a deep breath to calm himself. He clasped my hand and lifted it to his lips again. I sucked in a surprised breath myself.
"Why don't you come with Felix and me back to Volterra? We will welcome you with open arms, gift or not."
I looked at Demetri, his pleading eyes staring into my own. I had been warned about the Volturi, but here were two members of the coven who had shown me the most kindness since I had awoken into this new life.
"And it would mean the world to me. To have you there with me."
"You- you said that you had been waiting centuries for me." My voice was barely a whisper. "What does- what does that mean? What did you mean?"
Demetri and Felix shared a look before the latter began to walk away, perhaps to give us a semblance of privacy.
"What did your sire tell you about vampires? About our world?"
His thumb rubbed circles into my now open palm, a gentle caress that helped me finally relax.
"He explained the basics, like feeding and staying inconspicuous. He mentioned that some vampires have gifts… and about the Volturi." I met his eyes then.
"Nothing else?"
I shook my head and in a surprise move, he leaned forward and kissed me gently on the forehead. I felt my body begin to heat up a little.
"Then I have much to teach you, if you'll come back with me that is."
He was pleading. How could I say no? I thought of them leaving me here- of him leaving me and I couldn't stand the thought of it.
"Okay. I think I would like that."
Demetri grinned, and it was like my whole world was shining.

What Disney princesses/characters would the Volturi turn and who would be leftover dessert?
Those gifted or with a personality that rendered them useful.
(For the sake of not having a too long post I'll just use the princesses I know decently well.)
Anna (Frozen) is very sweet and charismatic, though a poor judge of character and prone to rash decisions. She has no gifts. Aro feeds her to his guards*.
Ariel (Ariel) gave away her mermaid tail to pursue a man she barely knew. Aro bitterly mourns Ursula, who might actually have been useful to him, and is left to weigh the benefits of establishing diplomatic relations with Ariel's father. Ariel, already a part of the supernatural world, is not killed either way but she may become a bargaining chip.
Aurora (Sleeping Beauty) is blessed with enhanced beauty and an enthralling singing voice that works on humans and animals alike. If attacked, she and everyone nearby as well as her physical surroundings fall into an enchanted slumber that can't be disturbed until the danger has passed. Excellent defence mechanism: Aro recruits her.
Belle (The Beauty and the Beast) has a wonderful personality and likes books. Aro feeds her to his guards.
Cinderella (Cinderella) has a wonderful personality and an even more wonderful fairy godmother. Aro threatens her in the hopes of making the godmother come to her aid, and once she does he tries to recruit the godmother. Cinderella lives for as long as Aro needs a bargaining chip.
Elsa (Frozen) can create and control ice, though Elsa is prone to emotional outbursts and losing control. Aro recruits her, but keeps a close watch on her for the first few years in case she turns out to be a liability.
Mulan (Mulan) is an able soldier who understands duty and loyalty. People like her will always be useful to a man like Aro. Aro recruits her.
Rapunzel's power came from a flower, and it's a power she appears to have lost. A healing vampire could be immensely useful however, so Aro turns her and she gets a grace period where he tests her rigorously. Let us hope she retained some of that flower power.
Snow White (Snow White and the Seven Dwarves) is blessed with beauty that frankly sounds vampiric. The huntsman defies his orders for her, the dwarves protect her, animals obey her, and the prince falls in love from sight alone. Aro recruits her.
Bonus: Leia Organa (Star Wars**) has the Force. Aro recruits her.
*If Elsa is in the room, Aro may decide to spare Anna so he doesn't alienate Elsa. However, sparing couples in this sense does not seem to be Aro's modus operandi, whenever he encounters a gifted coven member he seems to spare that member only. Most likely, Elsa is told Anna was returned home and the reason she can't see her is because Aro would hate for her to lose control and kill her own sister. And look at that, Anna died in an accident shortly afterwards. Definitely can't see her now.
** As the Star Wars IP is now owned by Disney and Leia is the princess of Alderaan through her adoptive parents and the daughter of a former queen, I say she passes muster for a Disney Princess.
A few final thoughts:
Of all the princesses listed, I think Aurora and Leia are without doubt the most interesting to Aro. Aurora covers everything Snow White can do and would render Volterra virtually untouchable, while Leia could theoretically do anything at all.

Thinking about if pregnancy had not been possible, hybrids didn't exist, and Bella was turned by choice rather than necessity as originally planned.
Also thinking about how we know Aro wants Alice and Edward and is very curious about how Bella's gift is going to turn out.
Thinking about how SM invented the new character, Mele, in Life and Death so Suplicia could steal Aro's power for herself blah blah blah. But how SM has said that Aro would have had Mel(e) quietly destroyed in the Twilight universe because Aro wouldn't want a power-stealing vampire out there in the world.
Would he really want a powerful shield like Bella out there in the world, either? Surely he'd want her either a) on his side or b) dead. Because if she's not on his side, then her shield against psychic powers neutralizes all Aro's best weapons. Not good.
So how would THAT all play out? Is Bella planning to make the Volterra trip and then Alice has a Doom Vision of Aro discovering how powerful her gift actually is and then coming up with charges against the Cullens (does Charlie know too much? Was working with the shifters against the newborns illegal? Is the coven too big? Too conspicuous? etc) so he can acquire her? Does he try to make a deal with Bella that if she stays in Volterra he'll spare the others? Does Alice then run through dozens of scenarios trying to find a future where half the coven isn't wiped out while the other half is conscripted into the Volturi? "No Bella you can't go to Volterra!!" "But we have to let the Volturi know I've been changed." "But they can't meet you in person!"
This would feel like a more natural progression from New Moon and Eclipse and doesn't need the baby at all. Lots of different ways it could play out, too. Do we end up with a 'mental chess' non-fight like in BD? Do they actually fight and win (SM wouldn't let them lose)? Are the Volturi dethroned, or reformed, or what? It was always weird in BD that we have this big speech from Garrett about how corrupt the Volturi are and then everyone is just content with the "live to fight another day" ending rather than taking on the System. Pretty unresolved, although I understand that SM does have some plans for future stories so that explains it. But in a Renesmee-less confrontation, would there be a more permanent resolution for the Volturi conflict because there are no future Renesmee stories to tell?

If Victoria died between New Moon and Eclipse (she was around long enough to activate the shapeshifters but never really got to form her army), do you think Carlisle would have called the Volturi if Bella got pregnant during her honeymoon?
Personally?
It could go either way but I think it's very possible.
We know Carlisle thought of them as friends before that one, if distant ones he couldn't quite agree with in terms of diet and ones he hadn't kept in contact with. He has that portrait in his office, he told Edward enough about them for Edward to tell what he knows to Bella, and we know Aro thinks highly of Carlisle when he meets Edward and is quite pleased he's still alive.
Added onto that, at the end of New Moon, Aro had done the Cullens a stupidly large favor (from the perspective of the Volturi). They let Bella leave human, let Edward survive after blatantly trying to break the law, and let the Cullens turn Bella on their own terms in the best way for the family. Is the sword of Damocles above their heads? Absolutely. But for the Volturi, who will execute those who unwittingly break a law they may never have heard of, this kind of leniency is unheard of especially when for the Volturi the solution of just turning Bella in Volterra and either keeping her or making the Cullens pick her up is obvious.
We see in Eclipse that the Cullens (save Edward) are generally surprised that the Volturi haven't intervened in the newborn debacle and they have faith in them doing that (and checking up on Bella and making sure she's really turned for real).
The trouble is that Edward is adamant that Aro is Sheev Palpatine and Alice is spooked. Edward, being a telepath, is considered more trustworthy/knowledgeable than other characters and has insight that Carlisle will never have into Aro's thoughts. Alice is a very tempting gift that Aro probably would like to have from Carlisle's perspective. Perhaps this is some twelve-step plan to try to take the most gifted members away from the coven?
Not to mention that, if Bella is pregnant, she's still human but in the WTF state that the Volturi may just decide "you know, we're not risking whatever the fuck this is". This could result in either Bella's death or at least the child's death which Bella is very adamant to protect. Carlisle's never heard of this from anyone, even the Volturi, and while it's possible it just never came up it's not that likely. But on the other hand, if they keep delaying the Volturi are going to come and ask why Bella isn't turned and why they haven't seen any proof. Not to mention that even though Edward is insisting they're corrupt and will just take advantage of this, the last thing they've done for the Cullens is spare Edward's life, let Bella turn on her own terms and those best for the family, and not take Alice when she was right there in Volterra and no one could stop it.
So, it's very possible, but Edward would lose his mind.

Spider Lilies and the Sun (Alec x Reader)
A Twilight fanfiction
Author's note: Check out my blog. I take requests <3
Tumblr media
Carefully, you tried to draw the spider lilies that were lying on the wooden table in front of you. Your pencil drew a line here and there, deepening the shadows or adding a new leaf. It was difficult for you to capture the lightning appropriately on the thick parchment that you studied for a moment, drawing your head back to create some distance. To some extent you were satisfied with what you have produced so far. You have never been especially good at drawing, but somehow you have a hand for illustrating the beauty of flowers just enough to distinguish yourself from a beginner. But if you would ever reach the skills of a professional artist was hard to say… Only time could tell.
While you drew, you listened to the conversation between Heidi, Chelsea, and Corin. The three vampires were sitting on the sofas that were situated in the middle of the drawing room of the Volturi’s castle. Soft sunlight shone through the windows, and you had opened one in the corner you had isolated yourself in. The temperate late summer breeze smelled wonderful, tickling your nostrils and helping you relax.
“Have you heard that the coven in France tried to trick the Kings?” asked Heidi in her enticing voice, playing with her dark hair as her legs were swung over the armrest of the armchair that she was lounging in. Her short skirt had hiked up dangerously, but Heidi knew how to be classy without coming off as cheap. Her legs were pressed together, revealing nothing inappropriate.
Chelsea nodded vigorously, not looking up from the book she was reading. “Of course, we have heard,” she remarked. Her tone was stoic and cold, but she didn’t mean it. You had learned that she was generally nice and didn’t have any mean intentions. But that was all. You would never expect a selfless act from her. Not from any of the vampires living in Volterra. “The French coven was the reason why Aro sent the twins, Demetri, and Felix to investigate. After all, the coven’s leader claimed that they have created a newborn with extraordinary abilities. The rumor spread like wildfire and eventually reached us, the Volturi. How could it not?”
Corin snorted and shook her head in disbelief. “Turned out the coven leader boasted a little too much.”
“Right,” chimed in Heidi, chuckling. “Apparently, they wanted to bargain with the Kings and offer the newborn for a price. But said newborn didn’t possess any special abilities at all. When Demetri and Felix called to inform the Kings, they mentioned that Alec was absolutely livid.” With a knowing grin, she looked at you and caught your eye. Quickly you looked back down at your sheet, acting like that strange and yet familiar name hadn’t caught your attention. Heidi’s voice sounded insinuating when she added, “We all know that lately he has no room for unnecessary distractions that could lead him astray from the castle.”
Heat rose to your cheeks, and you couldn’t say why. Only that Alec, even just the mention of his name, induced you with extreme nervousness. And a giddiness that you had tried to suppress by distracting yourself and drinking lots of water to drown the butterflies in your stomach. Alec. He was mesmerizing, absolutely enchanting. And also the reason why you, as a human, found yourself among vampire royalty. One day you decided to take a walk and breathe fresh air. While you were walking through the forest, looking defeated at your feet because the pressure that came with your studies really got to you that day, a pair of polished, expensive shoes came into view. Surprised, you looked up, staring into the beautiful red eyes of a young man who towered over you. Considering his insatiable stare, you probably should have been afraid, but you weren’t. There was something oddly calming about the way he gazed at you and how the wheels in his head seemed to turn before they finally clicked, and his hungry stare was replaced with a deep softness. Then, black mist enveloped you, and after many hours of traveling, you found yourself in Volterra.
You had been living with the vampires for a little over three months and found it hard to adjust to your new life. You hadn’t been told why Alec brought you to Volterra, but the Kings had informed you that one day when the time was ripe, you would become one of them. You had no clue when the time would be ripe, but for now, that was unimportant.
You were glad that everyone realized that you needed a lot of space and time alone. You had your own room and designated corners – like the one in the drawing room – that were solely reserved for you. Whenever you decided to take refuge in these places, everyone knew you wanted to be left alone. Fortunately, everyone was patient with you and answered your questions whenever you had any. The vampires learned to respect your boundaries, or rather, they had known how to do that all along since they were territorial beings. In turn, you learned to respect their limits and expectations. For example, you had to stay in your chamber when they fed in the throne room or when trials were being held. During these times, the vampires were especially busy, and no one could keep an eye on you to make sure you were not becoming a snack for the lower guard.
As for Alec... you got along fine. There were moments when he seemed like he wanted to open up to you, but then he would withdraw suddenly, sitting down somewhere and watching you with a wistful expression while you read or drew. He kept you at arms-length: close enough but not too close. He didn’t want to give you away either. If anything, he was strangely possessive, and at the same time, aloof. He would be attentive one day, and the next he would pretend like you didn’t exist. It drove you insane.
Well, at the beginning it did… After some frustrating nights, when you couldn’t sleep because of his behavior, you decided it was not worth spending the energy you needed on overthinking. You would just do you, stick to yourself, and be nice to Alec when he approached you. But you would refuse to seek him out. Your pride and self-respect put you first in this confusing connection with the vampire. You had never been in love, always waiting for the right one. Of course, you met men and thought that they might be your forever person only to end up disappointed because it turned out they were only being nice to you for sexual fun. Something you never gave them. Now, Alec was a classy guy. He was the type to court respectfully, and if he wanted some fun, he would be straightforward. Nonetheless, his intentions were anything but clear to you. So, you sought stability in yourself; if he had something to say, he could always do it, but you wouldn’t run after him.
Honestly, you were glad when you heard that he would go on a mission to France. His name was playing on repeat in your head like a prayer whether he was present or not, and you did need some time to yourself to get that foolish heart of yours, which sometimes beat like you were love-struck, in check again. And so far, it had worked wondrously. In the past few days, you had barely thought about him at all.
“So,” began Corin, resuming the conversation about the French coven, “what happened to the coven? Did Alec act on his anger? Lately, he has been inclined to do so. His emotions are running high. Higher than usual.”
Heidi giggled excitedly. “Well, luckily, Felix and Demetri could talk him out of it. The coven got away with a warning. The twins, the giant, and the tracker should return today.”
Your throat constricted. You didn’t know if you really wanted to see Alec. Hopefully, he would just ignore you. But your hopes were crushed. Two hours later the door to the drawing room opened, and Alec came inside. The girls stopped talking abruptly, looking between you and the elite guard. Alec’s posture was imposing, and with one narrowed glance and a barely noticeable tilt of his head, he commanded them to leave. Sighing and voicing their discontent, Heidi, Corin, and Chelsea left. The thud of the door when it closed sounded too foreboding. You focused on your drawing - you had begun with another one, not quite satisfied with your first try.
You hoped that Alec would just sit on the sofa, but unfortunately, he drew up a chair opposite you, and you focused on the movement of your pencil, not looking up.
His voice was deep and warm when it rang out. “How have you been? Are you well?”
“I’m good,” you replied stubbornly, making it clear that you didn’t want to talk to him. But Alec did not defer. He picked up your first drawing. That was when you gazed up anxiously at him. You didn’t want him to see your art. Why? Because in a way, you depended on his validation. What if he didn’t think of your drawing as good enough? Then you would suck it up and live with it. You wouldn’t let it affect your motivation for your artistic nature though.
The corners of Alec’s mouth were raised slightly when he saw your anxious expression, knowing he got to you. But if he hadn’t been sitting so close to you, you would have thought he was wearing his typical inscrutable expression. He leaned back in his chair, crossing his legs, holding your crafted spider lily up with one hand while he examined it, and gripping the armrest with his other hand. He wasn’t wearing gloves. That was unusual… The hand on the armrest glittered as it caught the sunlight. It was the only body part of his that was exposed to the sun. He didn’t like to shine in the sunlight. When you first saw how his skin reacted to the sun, he became angry. Not with you. But with the sun, you think. You were taking a stroll through the garden together, and when you reached up to touch his cheek as it began to glow, he pushed you away and told you to leave. That hurt.
“Hmmm…” Alec hummed, nodding. “You are improving. You have a talent for drawing.” With care, he placed the paper down on the desk.
Your body betrayed you when your heart rate picked up and your cheeks flushed pink. You were beyond happy. Somehow you managed to suppress the reply – “Do you really think so?” – that was beginning to form. You bit your tongue hard.
“How was France?” you asked instead.
“I have been there many times. It was worthwhile. As always.”
“Good to hear.”
“I would like to visit it with you someday. I have been there so often that it has become a little… boring and stale. But I feel like your presence would make the atmosphere special again.”
Suspiciously, you narrowed your eyes. Here we go again with the ambiguous meanings… “What do you mean? Alec, sorry, but you have not been exactly welcoming towards me. One moment you are hot, and the other you are cold and don’t let me in. I still don’t know why you brought me to this shit hole in which I’m supposed to spend eternity. You owe me a lot of explanations.”
His eyes studied you. He contemplated long, his red orbs wandering down to your collarbone and noting how well your cropped cardigan and your high-waisted jeans fitted you. Your body was bliss to him. Your personality meant salvation. He had to come forward. He knew he was being unfair, and how could he be unjust to someone he loved?
Without warning, he pushed back his chair, creating a scraping sound, and stood up. He walked towards you, grabbing the backrest of your stool and turning it around. You were now looking up at him, and your heart stuttered as he lowered his torso, placing his hands on the armrests, caging you. His brown, thick locks fell in front of his forehead, and his red orbs bored holes into the core of your soul. You nervously played with your hands in your lap, biting your lips.
“Don’t do that,” he spoke softly, his breath fanning your face.
“What?”
“Biting your lip. You always do it when you are nervous or stressed. You have been doing it while I was gone.” He used his thumb to smooth your lips. You swallowed hard at the skin contact. “I can see little wounds.” Was that why he decided to not wear gloves? Had he been planning to initiate physical contact?
You pushed his hand away. “What do you want?”
“Fine,” he grunted, straightening himself up. “I will be blunt about it.”
“Naturally.”
“You are my mate,” he admitted. Carefully, he studied your reserved features. But you felt anything but reserved. You were elated. Finally, you found the love you had always wished for. You had envied the connection Afton and Chelsea shared, how they gazed at each other with unprecedented adoration. Often, you had watched them interacting, wondering when you could not only be loved like Afton loved Chelsea but when you could finally look as ardently at someone the way Chelsea stared at Afton. You wanted to love, too. Not just be loved. What you and Alec could have… maybe that would rival their connection and put them to shame.
“What do you think?” Alec asked, testing the waters.
“Only that it all makes sense now. My palpitating heart when you are near or how I can’t get your name out of my head.” Contemplatively, you looked up at Alec. “That’s why you brought me to Volterra. When we met in the forest, you sensed that I was your mate.”
“I did.”
You stood up, bringing your hands to his cheeks. He brought your foreheads together, and you enjoyed the coldness of his touch. On a warm summer day, there was no one you wanted to bury yourself in more passionately than Alec.
“You fear this connection as much as I do,” you whispered. “That’s why you are sometimes so aloof. You are afraid of getting hurt. So am I. And honestly, in your presence, I find it hard to think straight. It is like my emotions don’t belong to me but to you.”
“Yes. They spiral out of control, and only you, as my counterpart, can reach them. Tame them.”
“Then I will cherish them and hold them close. You have nothing to fear, Alec.”
Tentatively Alec closed the gap between the two of you, tasting your lips in a reassuring kiss. It seemed that you had nothing to fear either.

Hello. I hope you are fine. I see that your requests are clear. Can you write Yandere volturi kings and soulmate female reader? Reader is the soulmate to thre king. I understand if you can't. Thanks.🌹
A/N: Hi! This came out a bit darker but I hope you still enjoy it!!
-S
+300ish words.
TW: Blood drinking, manipulation, punishments in genral, breaking boundaries.
Tumblr media
It took a long time for them to get used to the idea of sharing a soulmate, much less a human soulmate.
Their yandere behavior only starts to show up when you move to Volterra and start to live in the castle with the whole coven.
First, you are assigned your personal guards and your time outside the castle walls gets limited or revoked altogether.
You will have your own room somewhere close to your mates' rooms but most of the time your mates insist that you sleep in one of their rooms.
Aro breaks your boundaries the most. He uses his gift to know everything about you, even when you aren’t willing to share it. Aro will also shut down every idea of you and them being in an unhealthy relationship.
Caius is the most brutal and for most of the time is the one who acts out the punishments. He does like to make you bleed a bit before collecting the blood and drinking it. But Caius will be careful that you don’t turn into a vampire.
Marcus is the most manipulative when it comes to your love. Marcus wants you to love him so he feeds you with lies so you can see a version of him that you can grow to love, even if that version is completely made up.
All of them have one single goal when it comes to you: “keep you safe no matter what”. But they just really don’t understand why their behavior is wrong because the ends justify the means.

MASTERLIST ULEY PACK
-----------------------------------------------------
Saturday night. Only Paul and y/n knew what that night meant, their 3rd year anniversary. Yet where was he? Y/n had been sat at the dining table for the past 3 hours waiting for him to come home and spend time with them, but now it was 9pm and the dinner was cold, the night was ruined. A quiet sob left their lips as tears escaped the corners of their eyes, they didn't want to cry over something so little but it hurt, it hurt that he didn't care to even call to say he wouldn't be coming home, it hurt that he probably forgot about their anniversary, it hurt they had to go to bed alone that night. Y/n put Paul's dinner in the microwave for him for when he gets home, a post-it note stuck to the glass window so he knows his dinner was inside the small, electronic contraption. They walked upstairs and changed into their pyjamas, taking off their jewellery and any makeup what was still left on their face.
The bed felt bigger than usual, like they had shrunk until they were as small as a baby. The comforter swallowed them into the deep pits of darkness, tiredness soon washing over them. Y/n kept having dreams about Paul cheating on them, their heart yearning for him to come back to them. Morning soon came, the bright sun slipping through the curtains caused y/n to wake up. A yawn escaped their throat, they got up out of bed stretching their body, cringing at the cracks and pops of their joints. Turning around to look at the bed, y/n noticed Paul's side was left untouched. They finally had enough, sick of Paul blowing them off for god know what. Y/n just hoped it wasn't that girl he used to date, she was pretty and funny but she wasn't y/n, she wasn't his imprint. They just hoped the reason he bailed out on them wasn't for her.
Y/n finally made it to the reservation, it wasn't too far from their home roughly 10 minutes away. As soon as they got there, everyone was outside messing around together; some of them in their wolf forms while others were still in their human forms. The first person to notice y/n was Jared Cameron, Sam Uley's beta. He ran over to them and gave them a hug "Hey, where have you been? Everyone has missed you." Jared was like a brother to y/n, a very annoying younger brother. "I've just been busy, J. Have you seen Paul? I need to speak to him." The young wolf pointed towards the garage, where Jacob usually fixes the cars and bikes. Y/n thanked Jared and then they were off to the garage, before they were about to enter, they heard hushed voices talking; the voices belonged to their boyfriend Paul and (his ex and JACOBS SISTER!) Rachel Black. "Baby, hey. Just please give me another chance, we can make this work I promise." Those words broke y/n's heart. Was Paul really about to cheat on them? Without a second thought, y/n ran as far as they could away from the reservation.
Hours had passed since the conversation y/n had eavesdropped on, they didn't know how to react about what they heard. Y/n was sat in the bedroom when they heard the front door open and close, usually the noise would make their heart flutter and make them feel all giddy, but now they didn't care; all they wanted was to cry and scream. The bedroom door opened, the sight of Paul made their heart flip, he was so handsome. This stupid imprint shit always got in the way. "Hey, doll. I'm sorry I missed our anniversary dinner yesterday, something came up at the reservation." He went in for a kiss but y/n moved away from him, he looked hurt but they didn't need that right now, he hurt them. "What's wrong, doll?" Paul was now sitting down at the end of the bed, he kept fidgeting with his hands; something he's always done whenever he's nervous or anxious.
"Why am I always second best? Why am I always the last choice, Paul? Do you not love me anymore?" Y/n voice cracks at the last word, Paul stares at them guilt washing over him, what has he done to hurt the love of his life this much? "What do you mean, baby? You're not second best, you never have been and never will be. I love you with every inch of my soul." He was cradling their face at this point, trying to feel their skin against his own, he needed them to know they were the only one for him. "Then why her, Paul? Why were you with Rachel in the garage yesterday? Why is she always your first choice? All I'm asking is you choose me for once, not her." And that was his breaking point. He pulled y/n into an embrace, keeping them as close to him as possible. Tears streamed down both of their faces, sobs filled the room as they both clung to each other.
"I love you, okay? You are my imprint, you're the only person I need in my life. If you asked me to leave the pack, I would. If you asked me to up and leave with you to some random place, I would. I will scream to the world how much I adore you in every way possible, if that would make you believe me. I need you, darling, no one else. I want to have a family with you, I want to get married and grow old together. There is no one else in this world for me, you are my forever and always, you are my endgame." Y/n sniffled, never did they think Paul would ever say anything like that, he was always known as the scariest and worst tempered member of the pack but he was so soft and loving when he was with them. They were meant for one another.
------------------------------------------------------
Thank you so much for requesting !!! I had so much for writing this, Paul is honestly one of my favourite characters. I hope you enjoyed reading this, please let me know if this isn't what you wanted, I don't mind rewriting it. Have a lovely day/night !!!

In the dimly lit corridors of the Volturi castle, Felix and Demetri, two of the most formidable members of the vampire coven, went about their duties as usual. Their crimson eyes scanning for any signs of intrusion, they were the protectors of the Volturi's ancient laws, and their loyalty to Aro was unwavering.
However, on this particular evening, something unusual was in the air. The castle seemed to hum with an underlying tension, and the normally stoic Demetri was more alert than ever. Felix, on the other hand, was curiously intrigued, his gaze flickering toward the entrance as if expecting something or someone.
And then, she walked in.
(Y/n) entered the castle with a mix of trepidation and curiosity. She had heard of the Volturi's reputation, and the legends surrounding them had always been a source of fascination. A young human with an undeniable sense of adventure, she had embarked on a journey to Volterra, Italy, without fully comprehending the gravity of her actions.
Her heart raced as she took in the opulence of the Volturi's stronghold, unaware that her arrival had already caught the attention of its most enigmatic residents. Her scent, a tantalizing blend of innocence and fear, reached the heightened senses of Felix and Demetri simultaneously.
As their eyes locked onto her form, something within them stirred—a deep and primal possessiveness they had never experienced before. They exchanged a knowing glance, and a silent understanding passed between them. This was no ordinary human; she was their soulmate, and they would do anything to protect and possess her.
But in their twisted world, love often took a dark and obsessive form. Felix's yandere tendencies had long been a source of fear among the Volturi, and Demetri, with his ability to track anyone instantly, was equally relentless in his pursuit. Together, they were a formidable force, and they were ready to claim (y/n) as their own.
As days turned into weeks, (y/n) found herself ensnared in a web of intrigue within the Volturi castle. Her initial trepidation had given way to a strange mix of fear and fascination, especially whenever she encountered Felix and Demetri.
Felix, with his broad shoulders and disarming smile, often appeared by her side, making sure she was comfortable in this ancient abode. His obsession with her was palpable, though he managed to keep it hidden beneath a veneer of charm. Every conversation, every touch, was calculated to draw her closer to him, to make her dependent on his presence.
Demetri, on the other hand, was a master of subtlety. He watched her from the shadows, his piercing gaze never leaving her for long. His ability to read her thoughts, her desires, and her fears gave him an unfair advantage, one he used to manipulate her emotions.
One evening, as (y/n) wandered through the castle's labyrinthine halls, she felt a presence behind her, an almost magnetic pull. She turned to find Demetri standing there, his dark eyes locking onto hers.
"Lost, my dear?" he purred, his voice a hypnotic melody.
"I...I was just exploring," she stammered, feeling a shiver run down her spine. There was something undeniably captivating about him, something that both terrified and intrigued her.
Felix's approach was far less subtle. He'd often join her for meals in the grand dining hall, positioning himself close enough that their legs brushed beneath the table. His intense, unwavering gaze was impossible to ignore, and his occasional possessive touches sent a shiver through her.
The more time she spent with Felix and Demetri, the more entangled she became in their dark, twisted desires. They whispered promises of protection and love, their words a seductive siren song that threatened to drown her in their obsession.
But (y/n) couldn't deny the dangerous allure of the Volturi duo. She was drawn to their power, their mysterious ways, and the undeniable connection that seemed to bind them all. Little did she know that her choices would soon lead to a point of no return, where her fate would be forever entwined with the Volturi, and the line between love and possession would blur beyond recognition.
As the weeks continued on, and (y/n)'s life in the Volturi castle settled into a dark and twisted routine. She found herself drawn further into the enigmatic world of Felix and Demetri, unable to resist the allure of their power and obsession.
Her relationship with the duo grew more complicated with each passing day. Felix's possessive tendencies became increasingly apparent. He'd watch her sleep, a twisted smile playing on his lips as he whispered sweet promises of eternal devotion into her dreams. His touch became possessive, his need to have her by his side at all times growing insatiable.
Demetri's subtle manipulation was just as potent. He knew her thoughts, her fears, and her desires, using his gift to create a sense of dependency within her. He'd appear at the most unexpected moments, his presence a constant reminder of the inescapable hold he had on her mind.
One evening, (y/n) found herself alone with Demetri in the castle's ancient library. The dimly lit room seemed to hold secrets of centuries past, and the atmosphere was thick with tension.
"You know," Demetri began, his voice low and intimate, "I can feel your every thought, your every heartbeat."
(Y/n) couldn't help but shiver at his words, her eyes locked onto his. "What do you want from me?" she whispered, her voice trembling.
He took a step closer, his eyes never leaving hers. "Everything," he replied, his hand reaching out to caress her cheek. "Your thoughts, your dreams, your soul. You're mine, (y/n), whether you like it or not."
Meanwhile, Felix's obsession had reached a dangerous climax. He'd stopped pretending to be subtle, openly declaring his desire to make her his forever. His presence was inescapable, and he seemed to be everywhere she turned.
One night, as she tried to escape the suffocating hold of the duo, she found herself trapped in a dark corridor. Felix cornered her, his eyes blazing with an unsettling mix of desire and possessiveness.
"You can't run from me, (y/n)," he hissed, his fangs dangerously close to her throat. "You're ours, you’re demetri’s but most of all you’re mine, and I'll do anything to keep you."
The line between love and possession had blurred beyond recognition, and (y/n) was caught in a dangerous game where escape seemed impossible. Her fate was now firmly intertwined with the Volturi duo, and as the days grew darker, the price of their obsession became increasingly apparent.

It's one little sneeze
Tumblr media
A response to a request from @iloveslasher
Spring has arrived in Volterra. The trees are starting to bloom, then the blooms will fall when the leaves begin to grow to take their place. The air is filled with excitement while the human citizens of the city begin to plan several upcoming festivals. Unfortunately for you, with Spring comes sneezing fits. Your mates are vampires, the three leaders of the Volturi coven.
It was during one of the castle tours. You got in for free, thanks to a woman named Heidi, but found yourself about to be attacked mid-tour. Except for the quick reflexes from the tall man sitting on a dais where three thrones were, you might have died. The masters took you in and discovered their link to you. Marcus had seen the bonds first, telling both Aro and Caius you had to stay. He warned them not to harm you, but to offer you a home here, with them as your mates, and for the meantime, as a human. You were grateful when you heard that. But now that Spring was here, you wondered if that was such a smart idea. You suffered from allergies, and would sneeze whenever a breeze blew through the garden. Any irritant would set you off actually, but this was your first Spring in Italy.
The Volturi had defeated werewolves, immortal children, and the entire Romanian coven. Yet these ancients, these super-educated men, these police of the vampire community, your loving mates for many months...find themselves flummoxed by a sneeze.
The strange thing was your sneezes were like that of a baby. Tight, quiet, and at times, they had almost a musical quality to them. It wasn't that you tried to hold them in. They just came out as tiny sneezes.
When Aro had first heard the sound, he looked around the throne room from the table where he had been sifting through some old manuscripts. The smallest bit of dust from them set off a sneezing fit in you. He flashes to your side. "What is that noise?"
"I'm sorry, Aro. I...I...*hu...he...*snirt* The dust from your old books made me sneeze," you explain, before sneezing again and wiping your nose.
Aro's eyes go wide. "If you are ill, then you should be in bed." Before you can object, he picks you up in his arms and runs quickly to his rooms. All the while, you protest this is normal for you and that you're not ill. Once in his rooms that he sometimes shares with you, Aro takes you to the bedroom, removes your shoes, and orders you to undress, picking out a nightgown from one of your drawers. He hands it to you and once you've put it on, he tucks you into bed.
You sneeze again, the sound muffled naturally.
Marcus has entered Aro's bedroom, having heard the sounds when they originated from the throne room. Seeing Aro, he flashes to his brother's side. "Is something wrong with our mate, Aro? What is that sound she's making?"
"She says nothing is wrong, Marcus. It's normal," he pronounces doubtfully, emphasizing the word "normal".
Caius storms in a few minutes later, concern on his youthful face. "What is going on? I heard some repetitive noise coming from this room. Who is being strangled?" he demands, ready to fight for your safety.
"No one! Caius, it's just me. The dust from the old books in the throne room made me sneeze. It may sound...different, but I can't help that," you say. "My doctor says it has something to do with my lung capacity or trachea size. I'm fine though. Even if you are thousands of years old, I can't believe none of you remember what a sneeze is."
Marcus sits on the side of the bed, taking your hand in concern. "Can we get anything for you, my dear?"
"Yes, please. Tissue boxes, several. And nose spray. It might clear my sinuses." You lay back, thinking of taking the slightest advantage of your mates' distress. How long had it been since they were human? Did they really forget what a sneeze was? Were they willing to do anything you asked?
"Aro, I could use a cup of hot tea, or maybe a whole pot. And maybe a few of the chef's homemade cookies?"
"Will that help you?" he asks, worried that you might need a human physician instead.
"It can't hurt," you answer, trying to keep from smiling. "And no doctors!" You might fool the masters, but you'd never fool a real doctor.
Caius sits on the other side of the bed from Marcus, while Aro flies to the kitchen to see what the chef can make up for you.
"Is there anything we can do for you, love?"
You frown, as if in pain and ask for a movie to watch. Caius goes to the TV in the room and offers various names of films Aro has bought for you. Just as he is putting in the movie for you, Aro returns with a tray carrying a tea pot, a cup, and a plate of chocolate chip peanut butter cookies. The breeze that accompanies his speedy gait carries pollen from the garden and you begin to sneeze again.
*snirt* ahhh...oh no...he-choo!" You curse with each sneeze, holding your nose while your mates wait patiently. Marcus pours you some tea and hands you the cup. You feel miserable, but loved as you grab a cookie off the plate. The three masters join you on Aro's huge bed, and all four of you watch the movie you requested, the original version of Fright Night. It never fails to make the Volturi masters laugh.
