Green flags seem unnoticed nowadays.

They say, healthy relationships are boring. But imagine someone makes you feel comfortable and secure, remembers little tiny details about you including your favorites, and giving you assurance even if you not asked it. Someone you can be vulnerable with, you can be yourself, you can be genuine without disrespecting you. Someone who has clear and vivid plans about your relationship. Someone who respects your time and boundaries and understands that you have other people in your life. Someone who makes time for you, care for you, and sees your flaws as ground for bloom. Someone who never lets you sleep with a heavy heart and never take advantage of you. Someone who communicates their thoughts because they care about your relationship; that disagreements are part of it and wants it healthy.

Imagine having someone who is good for your heart.

We are blinded by red flags because they are represented by the color of love. We always think that we can change them; that they'll soon realize their mistakes; that they will have initiative to fix themselves. We assume and hope that the love we give will be an enough reason for them to be better. Or otherwise, we want plot twist, we want thrill, we want someone's not boring, we want to play games, that we forgot about peace. We forgot about the love we deserve.

We deserve a love that keeps us sane. We deserve green flags.

the funniest meltdown ive ever had was in college when i got so overstimulated that i could Not speak, including over text. one of my friends was trying to talk me through it but i was solely using emojis because they were easier than trying to come up with words so he started using primarily emojis as well just to make things feel balanced. this was not the Most effective strategy... until. he tried to ask me "you okay?" but the way he chose to do that was by sending "👉🏼👌🏼❓" and i was so shocked by suddenly being asked if i was dtf that i was like WHAT???? So I have heard how expensive medical care is in the US, here on Tumblr and from people who come to my country, so I guess I should make a warning here about my country to help tourists.

Let's start with what made me write this, so I saw a post from a nurse here in Brasil, that saw a man from the US run away from the hospital here, he was in bad shape, but he ran because he thought that he would be in debt, but he had to come back because hours later he was worse, so they had to explain for him multiple times that here in Brasil the medical care is free, after that he got the treatment and got better.

At this time of the year in Brasil we received a lot of tourists, so there were always accidents that could happen, here we have a thing called universal health care, it means that if you're Brazilian or a tourist you will receive free healthcare, no one is going to charge you (unless you end up in a private hospital), but if you suffer a accident and someone calls a ambulance for you, you will be taken to SUS (Unique system of health), it's FREE, all the exams, medication, care, hospitalization, ambulance, surgeries, etc.

So you don't need to worry about going to the hospital here if something happens.

• The number of the ambulance is 192

• The thing they say that you have to wait for eternity, you'll wait if your condition can wait and is not considered severe enough, if someone who got after you and received treatment before you, is because that person has something really severe, but if you have something that's severe you'll be attended right away.

• On the time you wait it will depend, you will receive a bracelet that indicates the time you have to wait, if it's green and blue it'll be till 2 hours your wait time, I particularly have always been called before this time, like in 20/40 minutes, my family has had to wait this time was well, but is not something that always happens, because like every place we have the good hospitals and the bad, if received yellow you can wait till one hour, if received orange then you have to be attended in 10 minutes, if you received red is immediately.

• Still on the wait time, you will be attended to faster if the hospital is "empty", if it's full to the point there's people sitting outside on the floor then you have to wait if your condition is not severe.

• You don't need to have Brazilian citizenship to receive free healthcare, it's free for everybody.

• The SUS (Unique system of health) has laws on universality and equity to attend everybody, you can search it up, if you're curious about our healthcare.

I'm a nurse here in Brasil, so ask away if there's any doubt, I will do my best to answer.
