Loki season 2 Spoilers & rant incoming:

I have never, EVER, bawled so hard in my life after a season finale. On the one hand I feel like this is the first time in a long ass time this phase where Disney has actually worked hard to give the fans something special. That being said I also feel DEPRESSED AS HELL.

I was doing some digging a few days back and I discovered I got into the Marvel/Loki fandom around the time of Thor: The Dark World. I was 11, and now I’m 21…

It just feels so overwhelming to see my favourite character grow and change so much over the years, just as much as I myself have grown and changed. It’s almost been like having a companion, and I’m sure many fans feel the same.

Also CAN WE GET TOM HIDDLESTON AN EMMY FOR CRYING OUT LOUD?!? Man has given his heart and soul into this character for so long and deserves some recognition. I know Tom will never see this post but, my goodness sir, thank you for all you have done for us in bringing this character to life for us fans

Now excuse me while I go cry about this for the next few days

Ok but hear me out

what if Merlin was never supposed to be with Arthur the way it was hinted at sometimes and the whole damn show is just a drama from start to finish, a destiny meant to fail, meant to not end in a happy ending for them anyway, despite what could or could have not happened?

Arthur and Merlin are each a side of the same coin, soulmates literally. But the sides are always facing apart, they are close, they belong together but they were never meant to be together because destiny says so. Destiny makes them soulmates, but has them face the other way, not each other, ever

I have a lot to YAP about this show!!!! God it was so beautiful, marvellous, heart wrenching, sad, happy and funny! I just love when shows do that, manage to encapsulate every feeling that makes us...uk, US. The show is about this English lad, Tony, who lost his wife to cancer and is pissed off at the whole world about it(valid). I don't really know how to talk about the story line, it will get lost in translation, so I'm just gonna mention the moments I loved such as the quotes above and hope it'll be enough for people to watch it! The moments of Tony watching all the clips his wife recorded for him are so beautiful and painful at the same time, but I think it's one of the reasons he is alive, and eventually actually wants to be alive, finds his reason n all that. His conversations with the graveyard lady(NOT a ghost) who lost her husband and sits on the park bench everyday to talk to him and Tony joins her there and they talk about life, hope, kindness and everything else in between. This show kind of reminds me of fleabag....I think? Anne is Tony's Belinda, I think (IFYKYK) not in proper sense but just that one moment of when they say "People are all we've got". Each character in this show is equally important, even though we're mostly focused on Tony's life and grief and healing, each n every character has a story and such strong expressive qualities, really well built and so are the stories that come with them and how they interact with Tony's story. It's all a perfect blend. I don't remember the exact quotes and I'm too tired rn to Google em but some of my favourite ones mention not being alive forever is what makes life so magical, and quotes about cherishing people because you never freaking know when's the last time you'll see em to talk to em to listen to em, and when he is talking about his wife, he'll say the most gut wrenching things ever, like "It's everything, being in love i mean." And "I'd rather be nowhere with her than somewhere without her" and just so openly admitting how lost and broken and hurt he is after his wife died, it was the saddest thing to watch but somehow a moment later I'm laughing at the conversation he has with his dad, or something absolutely honest yet unbelievably mean thing he yells at an asshole stranger. Many more moments such as "if you want to be an angel, you've got to do it when you're alive" "Caring is our superpower and we've all got it". Throughout this show, nothing is linear, no such thing as, oh it was terrible at first and then everything got better and nothing bad ever happened again and I love that it's so real because life is not linear either! Some shows imitate life, the beauty and the tragedy of it in such a way that it makes you want to live life more and this is one of those shows

I think I have a lot more to say but I don't think i can word it in a way it would do justice to what I actually mean. Just...GIVE IT A GO, THIS SHOW, LIFE, JUST GIVE IT A GO<3
