Observing the sunset

I miss watching the sunset on vacation, for a moment…nothing felt real, the pure bliss of tranquility is one that I would long for.

I didn’t do much today other than rot in my room (just girl things) and study, I didn’t even swim or go for a run, it was one of those days where I’d contemplate my life’s choices, definitely one of those “how did I even get here” moments.

There’s this boy I’ve known ever since preschool, his friends said that he has a crush on me, and his brother calls me his “sister in law” which I find weird. I posted a story of myself on Instagram and tagged my friends (which include him and his brother) and his brother reposted it with the caption: sister in law. I find that he is not showing interest in me whatsoever, I think I’m a joke to them.

I mean he (guy that likes me) had previously said that I have a nice body (currently rolling my eyes). I mean, any guy that ever “liked” me had only liked me for my physical appearance, sad to say, I’ve never met a guy who told me “your personality and intelligence enamours me”.

I’m reading this satirical book about dieting called The Chic Diet it’s quite interesting to say the least, but is also humorous.

It can be depressing being a Marvel Loki fan on social media sometimes cause you log on and you realize that there are other fans that don't even know who the character really is because they've never read the books. And some them refuse to even acknowledge the books' existence even though the MCU version of Loki wouldn't exist without the books. Don't get me wrong, I love MCU Loki and Tom Hiddleston but I love MCU Loki because he's supposed to be the same as the character in the books.

And he is -- TVA Loki is the closest iteration of the character from the books. That's what makes it so depressing cause you realize some of the people who call themselves fans aren't fans of Loki at all. They're just Hiddlestoners with hard-ons and degradation kinks. They don't care about Loki as a character or even Tom Hiddleston -- who has been pushing for a more comic book accurate Loki to appear in the MCU for years at all.

They're only objectifying Tom, and it's always the people who say that the Loki series ruined the character who act this way.

A THOUGHT I CANT STOP THINKING

okay imagine, Tom Hiddleston, on a two month filming break, going back to his London flat to just relax and enjoy the time he has off. He’s got a downstairs neighbor, the flat right below him, a family of three that he’s made good friends with over the years. The daughter really likes him. The parents leave for long periods of time quite often, you know work stuff, so they tend to get nannies to watch their daughter.

The night he comes home, a glass of bourbon in one hand, a book in the other, he’s sitting out on the balcony. He hears voices below him, giggles more specifically. He recognizes his neighbors daughter, but he doesn’t recognize the other voice, figures it to be another nanny. He goes back to reading.

Then, there’s singing. Soft, melodic, beautiful singing. He’s intrigued. He puts his book down and leans over the balcony. He can’t see much but he does see the daughter’s little head of hair, eagerly leaning towards another head of hair. She’s the one singing. It doesn’t last long, a short lullaby he guesses, the two girls giggling again before going inside. He stays on his balcony a bit longer, processing what he just witnessed, and ultimately deciding that he just had to introduce himself in the morning. It would be the neighborly thing to do.
