I have complained about this before and I'll complain agai #Before we get into the sad stuff with Yungmeng Jiang in the PD-MDZS comics lets have some lighthearted fun! #Remember that if anything bad happens to these Jiang disciples in the canon comic - they are happy in this AU B'*) #I think one of the funniest things about the teenxian dynamic is how WWX accidently finds things that get LWJ to feel flustered. #My guy wwx goes 'I'm going to lightly bully/tease this nerd 'cause his reactions are funny.' and LWJ goes “My god. He's everything to me.” #Part two of the fun part of this dynamic is that LWJ is ever so lightly self aware enough to LOATHE THIS CRUSH. #Hence why I have been marinating on this 'Accidental Lan headband miscommunication' concept. #This is how LWJ assumes that WWX knows what the band means in this AU. This will be relevant later. #And YES! I am still going to be making comics for this AU. I have so many ideas I simply can't hold onto forever.

#ace attorney tag #maybe i should tag this narumitsu or something. but i dont really care. #gearing up to rereading/illustrating bits of my fic i suppose...i think nick really is too dense to realise he's in love with edgeworth #without some scheming fop trying to intrude. i love villains like kristoph..villains can be fun..witnessing their pathetic folly.. #or more like edgeworth would never have mentioned his feelings ever in his life if he wasn't sure phoenix reciprocates. #i want to see it this way because Falling in love during childhood with the person you're going to end up with. is not relatable #there have to be Situations that make you Realise. #as with orufrey i adore the idea of people not working out their romance with that person until their 30s+ #but... i mean. even with orufrey i often think how alaira could be qifrey's ex. and oru having been pursued by noble fops through his work #there is that delicate sliver of time before orufrey start living together that such believable situations could have happened. #Then the relief of politely and amicably extricating themselves from those untenable situations #the idea of falling in love age 7 and saving your first kiss for age 35 or something is all very well but more relatable is #people realising how they really feel whilst trying something that ends up feeling wrong. #The comfort and joy of living with your dearest one as if it's platonic - much preferable to trying anything more with anyone else. #But i doubt i will ever portray that or mention it further. it is indeed very delicate to me. #and i really am an OTP FOR LIFE!!!!!!!!!!!!!! kind of person who can barely bear to consider this anyway...NOT a polyshipper i'm afraid ! #so i wouldn't mind either if they do have their first kiss in their lives age 35 with each other either. I love your Diana so much but Please🥺 give her body hair 🥺

The lack of body hair had been a conscious choice originally because I wanted her skin to seem more like clay than animal (thus all the texture too). However the moment you sent this I went 😳 omg hairy Diana 😳. I am a firm believer in Diana having a lot of body hair in other interpretations, and I’m going to experiment over the next while to see how I can a) better render her skin to be clay-like, and b) see if body hair works.

But in the meantime, have some hairy Diana! ❤️

#I am VERY pro-body hair and think that on Diana it adds to the earthy vibes rather than subtracts from them #an added difficulty is that for the most part I’m trying to colour & ink like #the original comic style #which doesn’t lend itself to a bunch of details & complicated rendering #I have been adding some gradients though #also I do like the anatomy on this in terms of head:body proportions better than the previous but since the reference I use was so skinny #I struggled making her as muscular as I would have like #hmm #my art #dc comics #wonder woman #diana of themyscira #diana prince

#artists on tumblr #art #illustration #my art #digital art #digital drawing #my ocs #noah #oc art #You know that feeling when you're touch starved as all hell so when someone does touch you the feeling sticks around for hours after? #yeah that #with a side of Noah running away from what he REALLY wants but can't allow himself to keep #meaning he's then repeatedly shocked to realise he does in fact end up missing Martin every time he runs off #i'm still having a lot of fun experimenting with some new stuff #really happy with how this one came out though #i think i finally nailed that balance between texture and smoothness i've been trying to achieve for a while now #at the core of these experimets is the hunt for the style i have in mind for a future comic project #and i think this is very close to what i'm after #I want to use pop-art elements like these more as well #those bold colourful outlines and haphazard shapes slapped on top of things #messing with gouache on the side is genuinely helping me think differently when i paint digitally which is very neat #loving the process so far and excited to see what new skills i can learn from this
