A timid kid and an outgoing child

Cahaya characterization

Cahaya was an outgoing child, hed be someone who answers first and be the best out of the kids his age, hed be praised greatly for his talent

He would always be so productive and make sure he is still known as best and great because thats what he knows who he is

He still had his sassiness just unknowingly

He loved calling for his brothers and talking to them about all sorts of things

Because hed been seen as someone so best, he thought it would better to not depend on his older brothers(especially from different influences from others)

He didnt know how to react when people would talk behind his back and just seen those people as idiots, or tried to ignore it. Even if he was obviously affected.

He always loved the attention but always feels like he should keep gaining their attention, cuz thats what hes worth for. Hed be noone if nobody sees him

He feels that he need to be there. He cares deeply, he doesnt know how to handle things.

He had taken notice of how people would react to him, to avoid those feelings towards 'plastic' people, he stopped being so outgoing

Hes sometimes afraid to go towards his brothers, because hes seen as independent now, it would be weird if hed be dependent, right?

He asks too many questions, thats his show of care sometimes, hed ask always whats going on because nobody would tell him, and hed be shut out most of the time because his questions are too invading or bad timing

He doesnt know and he hates now knowing, because he can help, hes there to help.

His closest brother would be Daun, because daun would be the one who would listen to his rants, and he'll be super happy/excited if someone would listen to him(but hes distancing himself, no, their distancing themselves)

(people pleaser)

Why does he get to be left alone, why is daun starting to leave him too. He has so many questions that are left unanswered

Whenever his brothers would be concerned for him, or baby him, he'd think of it as pointless, hypocrites. He can help too stop sheltering him.

He likes their care, he does, but sometimes its the wrong type of care.

His brothers leave him alone more, and he guesses its his fault, he acted so independent they thought hed be fine on his own, but he wants them to stay or be with them too.

Hes not someone so special, he needs to be special right? Thats what hes used to. Hes coping with being arrogant isnt he.

He doesnt know.

"Wow, little buddy..so does this mean we can only celebrate one or the other?"

He's joking, of course, but he finds it cool that your birthday also falls on Halloween.

Growing up, he never really celebrated either occasion himself....although that doesn't mean he can't celebrate them with you!

He gifts you your favorite sandwich (of course, it's what he does best) and sets up a picnic where you two hang out for most of the day.

By nightfall, you learn of a mass outbreak of ghost types and drag him around, trying to catch them all before dawn.

Although Mabosstiff has the clear type advantage should any of them wanna fight, Arven still gets spooked easily.

Especially as a mischievous Trevenant disguising itself as a normal tree scared the hell out of him.

Turns out you asked it to beforehand (with you promising to catch it should it succeed), and he's not amused in the slightest.

He doesn't stay mad forever, though. It IS your birthday, after all.

Girl goes above and beyond tbh.

And by that, I mean she organizes a whole Halloween/birthday party for you in one of the classrooms (with the director's permission, ofc).

She got cute little outfits for her main Pokémon team and had them all surprise you when you walked through the door.

Honestly?

You expected nothing less from her.

So the rest of the day is filled with fun spooky activities that she (unwillingly) drags Arven and Penny into.

Her gift to you is a Dipplin!

Since it's like a candy apple and a super cool dragon type, she thought it was perfect (her connections in Kitakami came in handy this year).

She would def make sure to celebrate your birthday like this every year even after you all graduate.

Penny

She already knew long before you told her (girl does her research).

But she doesn't plan on making a huge deal out of it. Big celebrations were never really her thing, and you knew that too.

The most she'll do is send you a present and a card tied to her Umbreon (who shows up at your dorm in a cute little ghost outfit).

Team Star catches wind of your birthday being today and decides to throw together a little surprise-Halloween party, eventually convincing their leader to help them plan it out and get permission to use one of the old classrooms.

You love it, but poor Penny jumps like 10 feet into the air when everybody suddenly pops out wearing masks.

"Is this surprise party for you or for me?" You jokingly ask, although she just gives you an awkward smile before you all proceed with the festivities.

Fanart for one of Animaniac's best songs! The Monkey Song was one of the earliest in the series, but it already had so much of the show's energy and the characters were all shown off perfectly.

A few days late for the 30th anniversary but that's okay! I'm still pretty happy with how they came out.

I just LOVE how all these times, being a Sabine and Ezra shipper, I would imagine this fluff stuff of Sabine wearing his clothes daily because... have you ever borrowed a male clothing before??? Like any??? THEY ARE SO COMFORTABLE

And ofc, to give it some sniffs too because THE SCENT OF THE PERSON YOU stole it BORROWED FROM IS THERE, and you will genuinely feel so close to them. And this isn't strictly related to lovers, no, it can be anyone who you have a strong bond and relationship. I've had my best friends (male, female, nb, all my closest ones) clothes and when I'd miss them too much, I'd give their clothes hugs and sniffs, but I won't lie that this surely happens waaaay more and more frequently with my boyfriend.

And yes, I made THOUSANDS of unfinished fics (promise I'll post them here or on Ao3 someday) where Sabine will walk around with his shirts, pants, jackets and everything she can while he is still around to tease her bc of it and ESPECIALLY since he went missing, where she is just using to feel more close to him now that he is gone and guess what???

Tell me this isn't one of his long sleeve shirts! It's TOTALLY HIS! I mean, why wouldn't it be??? She is living in HIS OLD HOME, his refuge and shelter during all the worst times of his life, his safe place to meditate and be alone with his self, with the memory of their parents who used to fight against the empire using the communication tower, the area he keeps his helmet collection, sleeps in, keep valuable things from his past, a place so meaningful to him and SHE IS LIVING THERE LIKE HE LEFT IT FOR HERE TO DECLARE HER OWN, GUYS SHE MADE IT HER OWN HOME!

She lives in his home, has his saber, painting a huge wall in memory of him so she could STROKE GENTLY HIS CHEEKS (yeah don't say that during the epilog was the first time she ever done that, I won't buy it) and also spent 10 years taking care of everything he loved and gave his life to protect, his planet and people, like SHE WAS ONE OF THEM! Like they almost meant to her as much as it meant for him. Also, should I keep going and say that her pass time is to turn on the holocron to re-watch his message with the white loth-cat she just adopted??? The one creature that was the most connected to this man????

She for sure is wearing his clothes. She seems to be wanting to be a part of him, just like when she painted a Loth-Cat, the white Loth-Cat on the core of her phoenix symbol. It's like what @jessicas-pi said about the mandalorian's marriage vows, like she want her and him to be one, together or apart, one.

And I am so happy because I've been imagining this happening in my headcanons since the end of the series, listening to the song Hoodie, and now this song and this gift, man, they give me life. I need to see them reunite as much as I need food to survive.

And if they won't turn out as a romantic couple like a lot of people want, I'll be sad but conformed with platonic because in my head they will always be canon, they will always be the best f*cking duo and partners I ever seem. Their connection is stronger than a kiss in screen, and although I'd live and love to see that, they don't need it. They never needed to be so linked with each other, to be so in sync. They do love each other in a way that maybe we can't even label or describe, and that's for sure.

They may never be romantic, but they surely are one, together or apart, they are one! 💙🧡💜🤍

inspiration struck me. jacq from sv (love him am aghhhh) ur arcanine and his arcanine had egg. egg had twins. twins r shiny?! idk i just woke up from a nap and it hit me like that freaking shiny voltorb’s explosion. he’d be so happy if u found him a shiny tho u know it cmon. and just. himmmmmmmm ughhhhh. bestie help im. down bad lmao -galaxy

"...oh! We got it, Jacq!!" Overjoyed that your carefully crafted "egg power" sandwich finally worked its magic, you gently took the spotted egg out of the picnic basket.

It felt somewhat heavier than previous ones you've hatched, but you didn't think much of it at first and eager showed your partner--the one and only Biology Professor Jacq. He agreed to come out today to study Pokémon habits alongside you.

"Wow..I only took my eyes off the basket for a second and it.....it just appeared??" He slightly gawked as he stared at it.

Once again, he was astonished at the phenomena that was Pokémon breeding.

Since Paldea lacked daycare centers, it took a while for trainers to learn that picnics were the substitute--which actually made things easier since it enabled their Pokémon to breed pretty much anywhere as long as the landscape was suitable.

But even in this region, nobody could explain where the eggs come from. No one has seen a single Pokémon lay them, even if they watched them very carefully and stayed up all night.

The egg would just....show up as though it appeared out of thin air.

It perplexed many professors and specialists for decades, even experts like Jacq. It'll forever be a mystery.

"What do you think it'll be, [y/n]?" He pondered.

"I'm willing to bet it's a Growlithe, since your Arcanine's been cozying up to mine lately." You chuckled, gesturing to the two fluffy fire types who were snuggling next to each other near a tree. "I'll go on a little walk to find out."

"I'll join you!" He insisted, grabbing his lab coat off the chair and putting it on. "Let's stay on the main roads. I'd hate to see the poor thing get attacked the moment it hatches."

"I concur." Nodding, you slipped the egg inside your bag, before seeing your Arcanines waking up and running over to you both. They must've wanted to accompany you--which was understandable given you had their egg. They didn't want it out of their sights.

And so the four of you began the long stroll, with him reading a pacemaker on his rotomphone to count the approximate steps necessary to hatch the egg. He was curious to see if it'll come out the same as other Growlithes..

Or maybe it'll be a Shiny.

He's heard of that phenomena too--where it's possible to hatch a Shiny Pokémon if its parent is paired with a Ditto. That was a popular method in the daycares of other regions.

But here? You'd rather not wait all day for a dozen eggs to appear.

The odds of that type of Pokémon hatching were still low regardless, so you're not pushing your luck.

After feeling like you've been walking for ages, you heard Jacq suddenly stop, and you looked back at him. He was observing the readings on his phone, eyebrows furrowed. "What's up? Is your Rotom being annoying?"

"Oh no, it's working as intended. It's just...we've already walked over a thousand steps. Why, we're nearly at two thousand!" He glanced up at you. "Did you feel the egg stir at all?"

"Hmm..no, oddly enough..." Being equally confused, you took it out of the bag to make sure it was alright. It felt warm to the touch, though for it not to crack yet was bizarre. "Maybe it's nervous to come out." You joked. "Let make it to two thousand and see what happens."

Nodding, Jacq caught up to you, still monitoring the steps you took before it finally happened-

The egg suddenly jolted in your hands, startling you as you quickly and carefully set it down on the ground. "It's time!" You backed up, standing beside him.

As its shell cracked, beams of light began pouring out from it, and both of you waited in anticipation.

Then it completely burst open to reveal...

Not one, but two Growlithes born from the exact same egg. And if that didn't surprise you, it was the realization that they're both Shinies as well.

Their yellow fur emitted starlike sparkles as they took their first breaths of air, taking a moment to sniff one another. Only then did they notice the two Arcanines who approached them, being just as surprised as their trainers.

With yips of excitement, the little Growlithes ran over to their parents, greeting them with loving nuzzles and licks.

Meanwhile, you and Jacq were standing there, still in total shock.

"I-I can't believe it.."

"D-Did...two just hatch from one egg?! In all my years of research I've never heard of this happening! This is incredible!" The biology professor laughed, before going over to examine the newborn Growlithes.

And he kneeled down, he took a look at their stripes, making another surprising discovery before beckoning you over to him. "[Y/n], come look..their stripes are the exact same pattern!"

"Really? Oh, wow.." You joined his side, smiling as one Growlithe jumped into your arms and licked your cheek. "Haha! This is great! What are the odds that our Arcanines would rear twin Shinies?"

"It has to be astronomically low, but not impossible." He chuckled, petting his Arcanine's snout. "Arceus itself must've blessed you with luck, because this is phenomenal!!"

"Yeah." Smiling, you stood up and ruffled the fur of your own Arcanine, happy to see them becoming official parents. "You ready to start your own little family, bud?"

"Arc, Arca!!"
