MASTERLIST
Florence took a step away from her phone to make sure it was recording the way it should, her eyes studying the screen as a smile slowly formed on her lips. It took just a second for the comments to start showing up on the screen fast enough that she barely had time to read one before it disappeared to show other ones. She stayed quiet for a few more seconds to allow more people to start watching the live on her Instagram before she actually started talking.
“Sup, bitches? Here we are with another Cooking With Flo,” she said the famous words she always used to start her lives. She opened her arms as if to show the kitchen behind her and let out her raspy laugh. “Did you guys miss me? It's been a while, I know, but I'm back and this time we're making lasagna.”
For the last five months, she had done none of the livestreams cooking in her kitchen mostly because the space was a mess. The room was being renewed and, on top of that, she barely had time to do anything other than work and make sure people were painting the walls with the right color. But now she finally had time again, so that’s how she ended up standing in the middle of her kitchen on a random Saturday night.
“It's very simple, but it was a requested dish for tonight, so that’s what we're doing,” Florence kept talking, leaning back against the counter with her elbows to read some of the comments the fans were making. She saw a few questions, dozens of hearts, and some country flags, but her eyes quickly picked someone asking if there would be any guests tonight. “No, it’s only me cooking tonight, but I'm not alone.” Florence looked around and easily spotted her dog lying down a few feet from where she was standing. She leaned down to snap her fingers at him, which made him get up and walk towards her while wiggling his tail. Chuckling, Florence picked him up with some effort because he certainly wasn’t a small dog. “Billy's here! Come on, Billy, tell people hi.” The only reaction the dog gave was a low bark before he tried to lick her face. Florence moved away the best she could laughing at the same time. “Oh, God, you're getting too heavy for me to lift you, boy,” she complained and then put the dog back on the floor, where he wasted no time walking away to lie down one more time. Florence put her hands on her waist and smiled widely. “Jeez, guys. Well, let me wash my hands and we can get started.”
Florence had just turned around to go to the sink behind her when she heard a scream piercing through the house.
"AAAAAAAAH!"
The chain reaction was instant. Forgetting about anything else, Florence turned on her feet while yelling back: “Holy fuck! Babe?!”
The live kept going on her phone but the people watching could just glance at her wide eyes and surprised expression before she ran from the frame, the phone completely forgotten. They couldn’t see her anymore, but she didn’t wander far away. Just as she was about to get out of the kitchen and run to where she heard the scream coming from, someone came running from the hallway and almost bumped into her, making her stop.
“Florence!” You screamed again, although this time you were already pressed against her.
Florence instantly put her arms around you while her eyes tried to find the reason why you were yelling. She was trying to find a bruise, a cut, or blood of any type, but there was nothing on you that caught her eyes besides the sheer panic clear in your face. “What is it?!” She asked, though she was having a hard time even keeping standing since you were pushing against her as if you were running away from something. “Babe?!”
You managed to slip past her and go further into the kitchen all while using your hands to keep grabbing Florence’s shoulders as if she was the only thing keeping you safe. “Oh, my God! There's a monster inside the bathroom!”
Upon hearing that, Florence couldn’t help but blink in surprise, tilting her head to the side and trying to understand what you meant by that. “A what?”
It was her sudden change in humor that made you look at Florence with even more urgency. She was too calm, she clearly didn’t understand how grave that was. “It almost killed me!”
Your tone had the opposite effect, though. Florence kept looking at you for a few more seconds before her signature breathless smile cut the silence that had formed between you two. Her shoulders dropped, as did her hands to your waist, and she let her head hang for a moment to bask in the relief she felt for realizing there was no imminent danger as she initially thought there was. If it was anything as bad as you were making it sound, you certainly wouldn’t be acting that dramatically.
Finally, she shook her head and looked up at you again with a smile. “I'm pretty sure there's not a monster inside our bathroom. Haven't you watched Scooby Doo?” Florence joked.
It made you whine, however, because you couldn’t believe she couldn’t see the danger you were in. “Florence,” you complained.
Florence must have noticed you were getting mad for her lack of concern because she just chuckled again and approached you to kiss your cheek. “Okay, babe, I'm going to take a look,” she conceded.
Now more relaxed and with a pout, you nodded and let go of Florence’s shoulders so she could walk away from you. “Take care!” You yelled to her retreating form.
Florence kept walking until she reached the bathroom in the hallway. The door was open and the light was still on, but she poked her head inside first. She saw nothing out of the ordinary, so she decided to ask you again, keeping her voice loud and clear for you to hear her from the kitchen. "Again, I don’t think-” Florence interrupted herself out of a sudden when her eyes finally spotted the thing that had disturbed you. “Oh,” she breathed out.
Inside the kitchen, you were biting on the pad of your thumb as you waited for her. “Do you see it? It's right there by the sink!”
Florence smiled to herself while she saw the little spider weaving her web down peacefully as if there was nothing wrong in the world. “Yeah, I see it,” she replied with amusement clear in her voice.
“Take care!” You exclaimed again, but that was what finally caught the attention of the other occupant of the house. Billy, now alert because of the commotion, got up with his ears pointing up and started to go after his owner to see what was going on, but you quickly leaned down to scoop him from the floor. “Oh, my God, Billy, don't go there!”
“Can you bring me a bowl?” Florence asked.
“What for?” You frowned and moved the big dog a bit when your arms started to get tired. Maybe you should start going to the gym, after all.
Florence’s reply came quickly. “So I can take this little guy outside.”
You gasped in shock. “You wanna touch it?!”
The other woman laughed again. “No, that's what the bowl is for!” You rolled your eyes fondly at her teasing. “Come on, babe.”
You bit your bottom lip and looked around. There were several bowls around the counters that she had put there to put the ingredients while she cooked, but there was no way you would go back to that bathroom again when the life-threatening monster was still there. “I can't get any closer than this.”
“That's okay, I will go get it,” Florence soothed your nerves and, a second later, you heard her coming back to the kitchen.
You couldn’t keep Billy on your lap for longer so you put him down gently, only to have him running to meet Florence, who was just entering the room again. Florence was smiling, although she wasn’t making fun of you - at least yet - and she walked towards you to peck your cheek. It seemed like it was just a gesture to try to hide her smile, but you weren’t going to complain about it.
She had just turned to grab one of the bowls when her eyes caught her cell phone on top of the counter and she immediately stopped in her tracks as her heart dropped to the floor. “Oh.”
You jumped away from the counter like it was catching fire. “What?! There's another one here?!”
Florence’s gaze moved to you for a brief moment though she couldn’t stop looking at the millions of comments and emojis appearing on her screen for too long. “Uh, no.”
You followed her eyes and it was your turn to feel the dread inside. In your panicked state, you forgot Florence was doing a live. You hadn’t just interrupted it, you had walked on it. Literally. You could see yourself standing in the middle of the recording, Florence just a few steps to the side looking like a deer caught in headlights as her eyes kept moving from her phone to you.
People didn’t even know you existed and there you were now. People didn’t know Florence Pugh had a girlfriend. People didn’t know she was only making lasagna tonight because you told her that’s what you were craving.
“Shit,” you mumbled. “Oh, shit. I forgot you were going live.” You took a step back and put your hands on your face to hide the deep blush that took over your cheeks. “Oh, no.”
Noticing you were a step away from going on a full-on panic attack, Florence approached you and gently pulled you closer to her body. She tilted her head to the side to give you the perfect spot to hide your face in the crook of her neck and you took full advantage of that. There was no point in trying to hide now that the cat was out of the bag. People had seen you already, they certainly heard Florence calling you “babe” and saw her kissing your cheek.
You silently reached the same decision in the few seconds you stayed in each other’s embrace. When Florence pulled away, she held your face between her hands and offered you a smile that put you at ease instantly. “Hey, it’s okay. Don’t worry, okay?” She winked at you. “I will be right back, let me just take out the monster for you.”
Florence kissed your forehead before grabbing a bowl and walking back to the bathroom. You thought about stepping away from the camera, maybe going back to hide in your shared room as you usually did when Florence was making content when you were around, but you barely had the time to think about where to go before your girlfriend was back in the kitchen.
“I'm back, folks.” she declared to her phone while walking to put the bowl inside the sink since she couldn’t use it anymore. After that, Florence turned back to face the camera and leaned against the counter with both hands, smiling. “It wasn’t a monster, it was just a little spider,” Florence told to the people watching the live.
Standing beside her, all you could do was mumble: “It was a monster.”
Your reaction dragged another laugh from Florence - the laugh that you loved so much, deep and husky, and that made her nose scrunch in that adorable way that always made you want to kiss her. “Thank God you're dating Black Widow herself, huh?” She nudged you with her shoulder, clearly teasing you.
Affected by her smile and her expressive eyes, you easily forgot there were literally millions of people watching you two at that moment. “I don't think that would be a reason to brag considering you would kill me in the end,” you replied, amused. “Besides, I'm not dating Scarlett.”
Her gasp was so loud that even Billy barked from where he was sitting staring up at you two. “Hey, I just saved you from a terrible monster!” Florence complained, although it was obvious she wasn’t serious. “Show me some love.”
You rolled your eyes again, but the smile on your face couldn’t be ignored. “You're right.” You nodded and leaned over to kiss the tip of her nose. “Thank you, my darling savior.”
Her nose scrunched again and a low chuckle left her lips before she pulled away with a more somber expression. She looked at you as if she was trying to hold a silent conversation and, gladly, you understood what she was asking without saying a word. You only nodded and braced yourself for what was about to come.
Florence returned her attention to her phone and her smile became a more practical one. “Well, I think you guys are a little confused. That's not how I planned for you guys to find out, but that's okay. We're just going to recalculate,” she chuckled politely. “In case you hadn’t realized it since this shenanigans started, this is my girlfriend.” Florence placed her arm around your waist, pulling you closer and smiling contently with her eyes glued on you. It seemed like you couldn’t look away from each other for a while, but she eventually returned her attention to the several comments popping on her screen. “Yes, I kept it a secret until now. And yes, I was intending to keep it under the rug for a while longer, but mostly because I did not want you scaring her away,” she joked since you both knew the reason why your relationship was a secret was because you were both trying to protect your privacy and your love from prying eyes. “She was the one that said she was feeling like eating lasagna tonight, actually,” Florence added.
You nodded, feeling more relaxed to be standing there now. “She got her grandma's recipe, I couldn't resist.”
“Since the cat is out of the bag…” She read a few comments, deciding to answer them as she went. “We've been dating for a while, yes. This is our kitchen, actually.” Florence pointed to something behind her. “Well, it’s still coming together. We still want to make some changes,” she relented since you both know none of you were satisfied with the place the fridge was placed. “Uh, she’s not an actress, if that’s what you want to know, another reason why we didn't say anything about us.” Florence kept from telling her fans what you actually do with your life, trying to maintain any sense of privacy still. “Yes, she knows my family. Guys, I will answer two more questions before we move on. Now that I saved her life and our bathroom, I believe Y/N wanted to take a shower before dinner,” she joked.
You laughed and agreed with several nods, also licking your lips to add to the dramatization. Your attention ended up going to one of the comments that showed up and you decided to answer it. “Billy ran to me at the dog park, that’s how we met,” you explained shyly.
Florence seemed happy that you spoke up, though, and she proved that by leaning closer to kiss your cheek for the third time. She then moved on to pick the last comment she was going to reply to. “No, she’s not going to feature in the next Cooking With Flo unless she wants to. Or unless there’s another teeny tiny spider forcing her to run to me.” She poked your side at the exact spot that she knew would get you squirming away and that’s what happened, of course.
“It wasn’t small,” you argued as your body moved away from her. “I'll go so you can keep filming.” You turned around to leave, but changed your mind last minute, choosing to say: “I'm sorry to crash in.”
“Don't need to apologize, babe,” Florence assured you firmly and, before you knew what was going on, she pulled you in for a quick kiss. “I love you, okay?” She whispered against your lips, making sure no one else could hear it.
“I love you more,” you replied gladly in the same tone before walking away. “See you once you get my food ready!”
Florence laughed while she watched you disappear from her sight and then looked back at her phone to clap her hands once and say: “Well, so let's get started!”

Childhood Friends - Ominis Gaunt (Part 2)
Tumblr media
Requested! - My requests are still open!
Word Count - 1317
Themes - Fluff & Angst
The next morning, you’d purposely left your curtains open so you’d wake early to the sun shining through your window. You laid still for a minute, listening for any movement in the house, but everything was still. Your parents must still be in bed.
You slipped out of bed silently, changed into your outdoor clothing and silently left your room, creeping down the stairs to the front door, glancing at the clock which stood on the floor, it was 6:30 in the morning. You made quick work of unlocking the door, closing it behind you slowly as to not make a sound.
You took off running as you had done the previous day, heading towards the oak tree. The town was silent at this time of the morning aside from your footsteps echoing as you ran. Eventually, you made it back to the oak tree, climbing quickly to your spot from the previous day.
After what felt like hours you heard the faint sound of footsteps approaching, quietly peeking from your spot in the tree, you spotted Ominis. He’d come to meet you even after the events of the night before. You jumped down from the tree, landing a few feet away from him.
“Ominis?” You spoke softly. He motioned for you to come and sit at the base of the tree with him. He tried to smile but it couldn’t hide the sadness that was clear on his face.
You sat there in silence for a while before either one of you spoke.
“I’ve never really had any friends, no one wants to be seen with me because of my family name.” He whispered, so quietly that you almost missed what he said. A small tear slid down his cheek as he spoke.
“I’m your friend though, I don’t care about your name.” You replied, resting your small hand on his shoulder. You didn’t understand why everyone was so cruel to him, why would nobody want to be his friend? He leant into the hand you placed on his shoulder.
“I feel safe with you. I don’t feel safe anywhere else.” He said solemnly. You felt a wave of sadness rush over you, not knowing what to do. After a while Ominis got up from beneath the tree, pulling you to your feet also.
“Can we play a game or something? I just want to be a child again.” He asked quietly, you smiled sadly, agreeing with him that a game was needed now. Ominis suggested hide and seek, to which you agreed, it was one of your favourite games. You hid first, believing that you had the best hiding spot in the area, but Ominis still found you, whether that was down to skill or using his wand to cheat you were unsure. The two of you took it in turns hiding and seeking for hours, the game eventually evolved into hide, seek and chase meaning that you were running away from each other as fast and as erratically as possible.
Laughter rang out across the grassy fields for hours, and you both truly felt safe and free. By the time the evening came, neither of you wanted to leave each other, genuinely saddened by the thought of leaving.
“We’ll meet again tomorrow?” You asked, Ominis looked thoughtful for a moment until his expression fell.
“I’m going to be away for a week, but we could meet again here on Saturday?” He countered. You couldn’t help but feel saddened by this, but agreed regardless looking forward to Saturday, even though it was a week away.
You both said your goodbyes and parted ways for the evening, as you walked away you couldn’t help but look back. You were worried for your new friend, and you wanted him to be happy. Walking home, you were trapped in your own thoughts, you’d never had a friend like Ominis before. Not one that you had immediately felt a connection with, you found that often it would take a long time for you to build friendships to the point of being comfortable around the person but with Ominis it was different.
Walking into your home, your parents were waiting for you sat around the kitchen table. You could tell that they were worried when you saw their expressions as you walked through the door.
“Little one, where have you been?” Your father asked, worry lacing his voice. You walked over and hugged him tightly, doing the same to your mother after.
“I’m sorry, I met up with Daisy this morning and we were laying out in the grass fields. I forgot what the time was.” You answered, it was only a small lie. Your father smiled and stroked your hair.
“As long as you’re being safe, that’s all that matters. Now, dinner is ready, go and wash up.” He spoke softly, much calmer now.
The next few months passed in a blur; you’d meet Ominis at the oak tree as often as you could. You’d spend all day together, playing games and telling stories, talking about your lives. Ominis had opened up to you about what had happened the day that you’d met him. His father had tried to make him cast the cruciatus curse on a muggle and he’d refused. Because of his refusal, his father had made his older siblings cast the curse on him which was why he ran and found you. He told you about how when he returned home that night he relented to his fathers wishes and cast the curse and about how awful it made him feel after. He hated his family and the dark magic that they used.
“Are you going to Hogwarts in the autumn?” You asked hopefully, it was the school that your parents had decided to send you to so you hoped that your friend would join you. Ominis nodded, he was excited to be able to go to school with the person he now considered to be his best friend.
“I’m looking forward to it, it will be nice to have a friend to go with.” He motioned to you; you laughed thinking about all of the adventures that you’d be able to have while you were there. You rested your head on his shoulder as you sat up against the oak tree, listening to the sound of the grass rustling and the birds chirping.
“What if we aren’t in the same house?” You asked quietly. Ominis laughed at that, causing you to frown.
“You don’t exactly seem like a Slytherin to me (Y/N). You’re too kind.” He chirped, it made you laugh slightly but a worry settled in your stomach. You wouldn’t be able to see him as much.
“We’ll still see each other though, right?” You asked with a hint of sadness. Ominis wrapped his arm around your shoulder and hugged you tightly.
“Of course we will, I’m never going to leave my best friend behind. Do you remember what I told you the day we met back at the tree? You make me feel safe. I’m never going to abandon you.” You felt a tear slide down your cheek at his words. Ominis had honestly become your best friend and you cared deeply for him.
The sound of apparition broke you out of your thoughts. You looked up at the figure in front of you and Ominis to see your father.
“(Y/N) stand up.” Your father demanded. Ominis quickly removed his arm from your shoulder and you pushed yourself onto your feet, panic setting in. “I told you months ago to stay away from him, how could you disobey me?” Your father asked, sounding hurt. Tears began to flow down your cheeks rapidly. Your father walked up to you and took your arm, quickly apparating you away. The last thing you saw was the sadness on Ominis’ face as your father grabbed your arm.

Aaron Hotchner x Teen Daughter reader
Another oneshot for Hotch because he's my favourite at the minute and I don't know why. And yes I spent ages specifically looking for this Gif.
This is a request!
Summary: Could you make the reader like about 17 and when on a run with Hotch (Her dad) like slows down, and tells him to keep going and she will catch up, but she gets hurt or like passes out somehow
I love this idea I need to write more Hotch and Teen daughter, this is during the Marathon episode because I like how it turns out. ( set season 7 episode 16)
Third person pov...
17 year old Y/N Hotchner and her Dad were out running together, they were training for the FBI marathon together, the 17 year old had applied to the FBI academy where her Dad worked.
She wanted to be an FBI Agent and help people like the BAU do. It was early morning then the teen and Dad arrive at the park near their house, Jack was still sleeping which gave the father and daughter time to train for the big race in February.
Y/N tied her H/C hair in a pony tail while her Dad began stretching, Y/N looks up at her Dad "I will win you know" she says to him, this made Hotch look down at his Daughter and raises an eyebrow. "Oh really?" He said challenging her, Y/N smirked "you'll see old man" she said stretching.
Hotch scoffed "name calling are we now" he teased, after they finished stretching the two get ready the get into position and looked at each other. "Ready.Set.Go!" Yelled Hotch and the two were off strinting down the path trying to beat the other.
At the start they were running at the same speed, then Y/N sped up leaving her Dad behind, Hotches mouth falls open  a the fast his daughter is, the smile on her face seals it, Hotch was glad they managed to do this together.
The last time they ever ran together on a Saturday morning was 3 years ago before Foyet showed up and made the Hotchners life hell, two years ago after Haleys death he couldn't even get this daughter out of bed more so on a run with him.
He is very proud of her and hie far she had come, from that 15 year old laying in her bed for days on end to the 17 year old training for a marathon with her Dad, Hotch smiled to himself before running to catch up with his daughter, the look o  her face when he started to pick up speed made him laugh.
The two were neck and neck, Y/N fell behind a little as they got to thr end of the trail. "Annd finish" said Hotch stopping the timer on his watch, he breathed heavy after the run he did.
He turned to his daughter who had sprawled out on the path breathing heavy woth a bright red face, sweat dripping off her. Hotch chuckled at his Daughter and sat down next to her catching his breath.
He held his fist out to her, the 17 year old looked at him rasing an eyebrow. "Truce" he said moving his fist closer, he watched as his daughter smiles and bumps his fist with hers. The two then grab their bottles of water and begin draining them, Y/N poured half of hers down her because of how overheated she felt.
The teen Continues to lay on the floor while her Dad finds the strength in his legs to stand up. As he does a pretty brunette walks over to them. "Jeez, I hope you're training for something or do you just do sprints for fun?" She jokes making Y/N sit up and look at the woman  willingly talk to her Dad.
Hotch looks down at his Daughter who gives him a smile before answering the woman. "We are trying to do this
triathlon in February, so..." when he trails off she answers.him "Oh, yeah, the FBI one" said the woman
Y/Ns and her Dads eyes widened. "How do you know he's FBI" Exclaimed Y/N standing up quickly, probably a bit to quickly as she wobbled making her Dad reach out to catch her like always. Y/N looks at the man and smiles "I'm okay Dad just tried from our race" she said reassuring him, Hotch relaxes but doesn't let go of her.
The woman  watches the duo before Hotch remembers she was there. "I'm Aaron Hotchner and this is my Daughter Y/N" he said introducing his daughter, the woman smiles at them both. "Hi I'm Beth, nice to meet you Aaron and Y/N" saod Beth
Hotcb smiles at her. Beth looks at Y/N "are you doing it as well?" She asks Y/N, the girl  nods her head. "Yes I am, we were racing earlier to see who was fastwr" saod Y/N smiling at Beth, Hotch had never seen his daughter smile so much until now.
Y/N smiles before looking at her Dad ans whispering. "I go grab our stuff you stay here with Beth" she said giggling when her Dad blushed when she wiggled her eyebrows, Hotch glares at his Daughter and titles her making her laugh before letting go.
Beth watches the father and daughter she could tell they were close, as Y/N left the two began tlaking more and even exchanged numbers.
Months later...
It was the day of Hotchs and Y/Ns triathlon, the team and jake were in the stands waiting for them to finish.
"Whoo! Whoo! Whoo!" Yelled Jake and everyone else. The little boy was sitting on Derek's shoudlers in his ha s help a sign he made for his Dad and Sister. Rossi was in front of the group shouting and looking out for their racers.
Next to them Reid and the girls were talking, all three women had sunglasses on and all very hungover. "A couple hours. A couple hours. You guys didn't come home till sunrise." Saod the genius mocking them as the groaned.
"Why are you yelling?" Yelled Penelope over the noise groaning in pain.
"Make him stop" Yells Emily equally hungover.
Derek had enough and leant down to talk to Penelope "Ok, hey, Jack, Jack.
Earmuffs for a minute. Earmuffs." He said to the boy, Jack understood and covered his ears with his hands.
"What did you guys drink last night?" Asked Derek
"The green fairy. You're in the FBI." She said groaning in pain, as JJ behind her moaned all three woman were regretting last night. "Could you get the entire crowd to stop cheering?" Yelled the media lesion
"By my estimates, Hotch and Y/N will be finishing any minute" Yelled the Genius looking at his watch. Jack looked down at Rossi. "Do you see them, Uncle Dave?" He asked, Rossi grinned he saw Hotch.
"I think I do, kiddo."
Hotch then ran over the finishing line Y/N closely behind him the two come to a stop hearing the crowd cheer for them. "Whoa!" Exc the team. Y/N leans on her Dad for support, ber legs felt like jelly.
"Come on, Jack. Come on, Jack. Let's go see your dad and sister Jack." Yelled Derek letting the boy down, Jack then runs over to his family.
"You did it!" Yelled Jack and he ran over to Hotch jumping around excitedly, Y/N smiles painfully as she moves over to the girls, thw three congratulate the teen. "I can't feel my legs" she said smiling at them.
The teen then drops to the floor on her bum and laying on the ground hoping the world would stop spinning. Soon the woman realsi she passed out Emily quickly kneels down and pulls her up so she was leaning against her chest.
Emily the ge tly taps her face making sure she stayed awake. "Hey N/N stay away, you need to stay awake" he said as JJ called Hotch over and Penelope gets Derek to call for an ambulance. Seeing his daughter passed out makes the man run over to her.
"Is she okay?" He yelled over the noise, Emily looks at him worry in her eyes. "Don't worry she jsut passed out Hotch, Derek's calling for an ambulance" she said, Hotch thanked her before Y/N opens her eyes, E/C eyes stare into his brown ones.
Hotch smiles at her and rubs her cheek keeping her awake. "Hey Princess you okay?" He asked her, Y/N gives her dad a tired smile. "Yeah I'm fine dad" she whispers Hotch smiles at her. "I'm glad sweetie" he said looks around him hoping the ambulance come quick.
Someone the touches his hand it was Y/N, he looks dow at her. "Yes Princess?" He said, his daughter didn't look at him as if she was embarrassed, when she did speak Hotch had to lean closer. "Do you think mum is proud of me?" She asks his ans his heart breaks a tiny bit.
Hotch smiles a watery smile at his Daughter "Yes she is, because I am so proud of you Honey" he said wiping away the tears on their faces, Jake then jumps on his Dad's back. "Is Y/N okay Dad?" He asks worried.
"Don't worry Jackie I'm fine just tired" reassured Y/N smiling.
The end!

Saturday Night Collision
Day/Prompt: Day 6 - "Sorry! I didn't mean to throw that snowball so hard"
Fandom/Character(s): AEW All Elite Wrestling / Daniel Garcia x F!Reader
Warnings: none
Wordcount: 680
Summary: Daniel takes reader on an impromptu date ice skating and plsaying with snow
@12daysofchristmas
This was meant to be a work trip but somehow you ended up on a date with Daniel Garcia, you had time to kill before Collision and since you had promoted all morning on talk shows he saw the opportunity and took it.
“Hey, do you wanna go skating? I heard there’s an ice rink closed from here”
“Sure, we have a lot of time to kill”
Danny was happy she had accepted, they made the AEW chauffer take them there.
They after putting on the skates she was really nervous to fall down, Danny noticed her shaking and offered his hand.
“Let’s go, I’m not letting you fall”
“What if you fall?”
“That would be embarrassing but I’ll try not to, i promise”
She was definitely more confident with Daniel securing her arm, they were moving steady and they were having fun, she did a whole lap alone just to prove herself she could do it, she didn’t realize it but Daniel was watching her with loving eyes, he had been waiting on a moment like this for so long and now finally he had the courage and the opportunity to capitalize.
She staked towards him, it felt like slow motion but she was moving fast, Daniel had his arms open and she did the same trying to hug with to anchoring down, miraculously they didn’t fall down but they ended up face to face smiling to each other until they realized their lips where at a close distance both slowly moving their heads away from each other.
“Uh we… we should go make a snow fight”
He proposed trying to shake the awkwardness out of the situation, he still took her hand in his helping her out of the rink.
Now again sporting boots they went to the field collecting snow balls, running around the different obstacles that were already set up.
She had collected some snow and finally hit Garcia on the leg, he tried hitting her but she was running fast making him miss the target, she got behind a prop door, she was waiting for Daniel to get closer, it felt like a good few minutes before she saw him again but this time he was faster and hit her shoulder with the snowball, it caused her to lose balance and end up on the floor.
"Sorry! I didn't mean to throw that snowball so hard"
Daniel shouted and ran beside her, she was watching him with eyes semi closed as if trying to make his head explode with her nonexistent mind powers.
He offered her a hand to help her up, she took his hand but instead of trying to get up she pulled him with her and since he wasn’t really stabilized he fell down too, she was laughing and now Daniel had pouty lips, he plopped down on the snow and she imitated him, they just laid there until it was too cold.
“This was a bad idea”
Daniel said sitting up, she followed him and they finally got up.
“Hey you got some snow on your hair”
She said.
“Where?”
He asked her, she brushed his hair getting rid of the chunk of snow that was stuck, she was going to retract but Daniel pulled her arm until they were mere inches away, his breath lightly hitting her face, he was watching her eyes and then her lips which made her look at his naturally pink tinted lips, Danny finally pulled her by the waist and kissed her lips, she put her arms around his neck pulling him down to reciprocate the kiss, it was slow and passionate, it didn’t last long but it was enough to leave them both shaking and wanting more.
Danny had his eyes closed for a few seconds, his face was as red as she expected, he was known to turn red when he is flustered but she thought it was cute, Daniel finally opened his eyes, a new found glow in his eye, he finally had the courage to ask.
“So… second date after Collision?”

“Are you wearing my shirt?” Richie asked when he returned to their chairs sitting by the ocean. Little kids ran around, playing in the sand or splashing in the water. Eddie was trying to duck out of the merriment by hiding under their umbrella.
As if he was surprised to see Richie, Eddie looked almost embarrassed, holding his boyfriend's shirt by the neck or close to his chest as best he could. “Oh, hey, you put sunscreen on pretty fast.”
“Only takes a minute,” Richie said, sitting down next to him.
“Did you do a double coating?”
“Jeez, Eds, I put on sunscreen! What’s the big deal!”
“Are you seriously asking me that? Do I have to share all the stats about how many people get skin cancer or skin-related diseases because of sunburns?”
“Okay, babe, chill! I get it,” Richie put an arm around his shoulder, noting how anxious Eddie was still. “We’re at the beach. It’s time to relax.”
Eddie calmed down some, but not enough. He barely ever went to the beach, in his adult years that is. The night before it took Richie a total of three hours to convince Eddie to spend that Saturday at the beach. Eddie agreed when Richie agreed on two things. One; he wouldn’t push him in the water. And two, Richie would take him to the new train museum in town. Fair enough.
“I’m surprised I’ve never had one of my gigs down here. Do you think if I tried to book one people would come?”
“Anybody would come to see you perform, Rich,” Eddie said to him, glancing over his shoulder when a couple walked by. Earlier, a group of girls recognized Richie and fangirled over him. That didn’t make Eddie too happy. His hand clasped tightly around the collar of his shirt, almost choking himself.
“Hmm, should we start planning one?” Richie asked.
Eddie was too distracted, fidgeting with the buttons on his shirt. They put their chairs close to the water as far away from people crowding the beach. It was 90 degrees today. Richie never understood how people liked standing or sitting in hot sand. A little breeze came off the ocean.
That’s when an idea hit him. “Hey Eds, listen!”
“To your teeth hitting the sand if you call me that again?”
“Have I ever told you how much your hostility turns me on?” Richie leaned forward on the arm of his chair.
“Oh, fuck off!” Eddie half giggled.
Richie took his hand and stood up. Eddie slowly followed, a bit nervous, but hooked on Richie’s gorgeous eyes. Feeling the smooth skin of his hands made his heart beat like the drums. Taking him close to the edge of the water, Richie stopped close to the small rocks.
“What are-”
“Sh, listen to this,” Richie instructed, subconsciously pulling his boyfriend a little closer. Not knowing if it was from the sun or the warmth of Richie's body, his heart fluttered. Nobody ever held him close like this. His mother was always so frantic, racing around and covering him with all the blankets she could find in the house, suffocating him. And Myra... let’s just say she wasn’t the definition of a cuddler.
Staying quiet, a small wave rippled in, hitting their ankles. Eddie flinched but he didn’t move away. As the water drifted away, it swept the rocks away with it. The pebbles rattled against one another, like music. That sound made Eddie feel... peaceful. It was rare for him to feel that way.
They listened to it again. This time the rocks made a different rhythm as they pelted against each other. Eddie listened closer to the water, the way its rapids evaporated, running back to its home. Funny, Edde hadn’t noticed that since the days they’d swim in the quarry. Had his anxiety really caused him to avoid swimming - something that he once enjoyed?
“What do you think?” Richie asked softly, something very out of character for him. His hand moved down to hug Eddie’s waist. His entire body relaxed. That was good. Before Pennywise... hurt him, Richie barely touched Eddie let alone stand right next to him - leaving space. Now, he couldn’t keep his hands off him.
“It’s beautiful, Richie,” Eddie answered, leaning his head against Richie’s shoulder. The rest of the people on the beach disappeared. Only he and Richie existed.
“Thought you might. I’ve been waiting to share this with someone.”
“How long have you been coming here?”
“Since I came to L.A. when I was 18.”
“Wow, you’ve been on your own for a long time,” Eddie said to him. When he thought about it, he’d never been on his own. His mother remained glued to him after he graduated high school. When he found out that she had cancer, Eddie was overcome with so much emotion that independency scared him. Now that he thought about it, he tried to spend more time with himself. Eddie spent a lot of time at the gym or running when he was with Myra.
“Glad I have someone to share it with now,” Richie kissed his forehead.
Eddie hugged Richie around his waist a little tighter, enjoying the sound of the ocean. “Hey, I have an idea.”
“What’s that?”
Unbuttoning his shirt and stripping out of it revealing the long red scar indent, Eddie stood boldly on the beach. Nobody turned to look at him. “ Let’s go for a swim.”

i will wait
pairing: mjf x reader
summary: three times you wait on max and one he waits on you.
"Y/n, wait up!" Max yelled as he chased after you. You stopped briefly to glance behind yourself, unsure of how far behind you he was. Soon enough, you could hear him running along the trail, huffing and puffing as he went. You glanced at the slightly smaller boy beside you, who was trying his hardest to stay upright. "Are we almost there?"
"Yeah, it's just over this hill. We can walk it though," you told him. Max groaned as he started walking again. The two of you walked along the path together, following the more weathered bits of stone and dirt until you came to the top of the hill. Max plopped down on the grass as he looked out at the view in front of him.
"Wow," he muttered under his breath. You could hear little pants coming from him as he sat there. You sat down next to him, nearly falling against his side as you plopped down. "How did you find this place?"
"Exploring," you answered. The two of you sat there for another hour or so as the sun started to set. You ran back together, neither of you wanting to get home after your curfews. The next day, you and Max met up at the same little spot behind your houses and made the hike to your spot, which became a nearly daily summer tradition for the two of you. You'd run as fast as you could to the big hill and wait there as Max caught up with you before walking up it together.
--- --- ---
You stared down at your watch to check the time again. Max had promised you that he would meet you in the parking lot after his game. The game had ended about 20 minutes ago, and you had seen no signs of him. You knew that he had to shower and change, but your patience was beginning to wear a little thin. This wasn't your crowd, but Max was your best friend, and you wouldn't miss celebrating his first big start with him.
"Hey, sorry I took so long," Max apologized as he jogged over to meet you. You shot him a smile, glad to be getting to leave. "After we get a bite to eat, there's a party if you want to go. A bunch of people are gonna be there, it's supposed to be fun."
"You can drop me off and go if you want," you told him. Max frowned, a slight pout on his lips as he walked out to his car with you. "Parties aren't my thing, but you should go. Make more friends on the team."
"If you're sure that it's okay. I know that we usually hang out on Friday nights." Max sounded almost disappointed, but you tried to ignore it. There were a lot of things you'd been trying to ignore about Max lately. It was getting to be a difficult task though, especially since he still insisted on spending as much of his time with you as he could spare. "Fine, but I'm coming over Saturday morning for breakfast. Then, we have some planning to do."
"My mom would be devastated if you missed breakfast Max," you told him. It probably wasn't true, but you wanted him there anyways. Every other week he was at your house for Saturday breakfast and to watch wrestling matches on YouTube. Friday nights used to be the time to do that, but since he had joined the football team, your schedules had to shift a little.
"I can't let down Mama Y/l/n," he said seriously. You chuckled a little as the two of you got to his car. He got the door for you and did an adorable little jog around to his side of the car. "What are you smiling like that for?"
"I don't know, I guess I'm just glad that you're my best friend is all." Max looked away from you, a deep blush from the compliment on his face. You tried to shrug the comment off, but it lingered between the two of you for the rest of the night.
--- --- ---
"Scooch in a little closer you too!" Your mom shouted directions from behind the camera. Max glanced down at you with a sheepish look on his face as he wrapped his arm around your waist. Behind your mom, your dad muttered something, which was probably a comment about your proximity. You had expected it, ever since Max took you to prom, your father had been a bit overprotective about you.
You didn't understand why, Max had never been anything other than a complete gentleman. Yes, you had been harboring a massive crush on Max since your sophomore year, but nothing had really come of it. Max was always there, and even as your social circles changed, your friendship stayed the same. Making a move felt out of the question for the two of you, not that you ever thought he'd make a move on you.
"Okay, you have your pictures, now let's get on the road," your dad said. Max left your house to ride with his parents to graduation. The ceremony itself was long and boring, but afterwards, your graduation party was a lot more fun. It helped that your parents allowed for your guests to use the pool after sitting in the hot sun for hours during graduation.
"Hey, do you think we could take a walk?" Max asked you. You had felt him lingering behind you for quite some time now, but had just been waiting for him to say something. You knew how Max was sometimes.
"Yeah, lead the way," you told him. The two of you ended up walking the trail behind your house and through the little patch of wooded area to the top of the hill. This time, the two of you just walked. Not that you could have beat Max to the hill anymore. A lot had changed since the summer where you had discovered your secret little area.
"I'm not staying in Florida with you, when August comes around, I'll come back here for college," Max told you. Your face fell, but this wasn't news to you. Max's college scholarship had been a huge deal, and you were so proud of him. You had just hoped that it didn't mean you had to try and make your journey to the WWE on your own. "I'm sorry Y/n, I know that you had that plan all worked out, but I can't take that risk, not right now."
"It's okay, I didn't think you would. It'd be dumb to give up the opportunity you have now. Will you at least make the drive down with me?" you asked him. "It would mean a lot."
"I was never going to make you drive all the way down there by yourself. You hate the freeway, and you never know which gas stations to stop at. Oh, and I have to make sure that you get a good apartment, I promised your dad that much," Max started rambling a little. You let him continue, listing off all of the things that he swore he'd do in the couple of months he would be joining you in Florida.
"Max," you finally said, cutting him off. He stopped talking and looked down at you. You pressed a kiss to his cheek before lightly scratching at the baby hairs on the back of his neck. "Relax, we're gonna be fine. I'll go to Florida and tryout while you go make a name for yourself as a college man. You'll call me every week and tell me what's going on, and then when we both have breaks, we'll get to see each other."
"You forgot the part where you make it big," Max told you. You ducked your head down to hide your smile. "Promise me that you'll wait for me when you make it to the WWE. One day we'll be the faces of that company."
"Damn right we will."
--- --- ---
"What the hell are you doing Max?" You tossed your jacket at the man sitting on your front porch. "I know that you wanted everybody to be talking about you, but holy shit man!"
"I don't want to talk about that," he said with a heavy sigh. You reached towards him and helped to pull him onto his feet. He wrapped his arms around you and pressed a kiss to the top of your head. "How was the ride in?"
"Good, I did a couple phone interviews on the way. I'm dead tired though," you answered. Max frowned at you, a comment about driving straight through on the tip of his tongue. He kept it to himself though, knowing that now was not the time to be on you about anything. He got your bags out of your car for you and met you upstairs in your bedroom.
It was nice to be back home. Pictures of your life with Max all over the place. Snapshots of moments both inside and outside of the business. Your respective favorite photos were on your respective bedside tables. Max's was your prom photo, the one your mother had taken where you were kissing his cheek. It was crazy to think that the two of you hadn't been together yet. Your favorite had been taken after your first NXT show, where Max had come down to see you wrestle. The photo had been taken moments before your first kiss with him, taken courtesy of a few of your friends.
"Come on, let's get to bed. We've got to be up early to go to your mom's for breakfast," Max said as he got into bed with you. He pulled you against his body, holding you tightly until he fell asleep. You laid there for a few minutes just thinking, glad that he had taken the initiative to kiss you.

Lil weekend recap, it’s been a sec!!
Friday I had my final trial for my trial practice class aka 1/5 classes done for the term! It was on zoom so we could have anyone we wanted play a witness so Jared got to join as a witness which was fun
After that I got the Explosion of Energy™️ that comes every time I finish an exam, etc. I deep cleaned the kitchen (desperately needed) and put up the xmas decorations and then took a lil walk to pick up pizza
Saturday my law school bestie and I met early for a run/walk. I’ve been having IT band issues since early October (advice welcome), been doing the PT exercises and I THOUGHT things were improving but Saturday was def a major setback :(
But still super nice to start the day outside with a friend, then we picked up coffees and parted ways
Spent the day GRINDING on a paper for my international sports law class (goal is to finish today and have another class wrapped up!). Honestly feeling so stoked about this paper. Last fall I had my Mental Breakdown while trying to write a 20 page paper and honestly writing has stressed me tf out ever since (and I’ve always loved writing, never had a mental block with it), so it feels SOOOOOO good to have crossed that mental barrier. And I’m stoked on the topic
Had a lil facetime with Jared + his parents to discuss plans to visit them over winter break and fun travel plans for next summer 👀
Sunday morning I volunteered with the same friend to hand out medals at a local race. It was a gorgeous morning but very very cold (for eugene). It was awesome to see so many familiar faces cross the finish line and seeing the winners of each race. Super cool.
Spent the rest of the day grinding yet again. Finals season fast approaches 😅
Monday I had classes and did a toooon of work and ran errands and TRIED to get my latest booster but when I showed up to my appointment (appointment! specifically for the booster!) they were like lolz yeah we dont have anymore and I was like neat neat good thing you did not let me know in advance!
But the good news was that I spontaneously got a little xmas shopping done and bought teeny tiny stocking for the cats to match mine and Jared’s. And I bought three books (I miss reading for fun much during school) and it turned out they were buy two get one so that was a score
Today is another big work day but tonight Jared and Allie (cat) fly in for a week!!!

2nd December Photograph quiz
Tumblr media
Well, we can’t come out of the original front door of this public house and lots of things have changed. Regular fights and punch ups occurred and there was a regular run in with the local farmer who used to get his muck spreader out and redecorate the exterior and customers cars, as his farm bordered the car park. The old farm house was where the embryonic Sutton Valence Temperance Society met and usually after a session at the Swan followed by one Dick Perrin, the landlord, furnishing the farmer with a decent bottle of Grouse. Nobody knew just what had occurred because everyone was usually too plastered to remember.
So we come out of the boozer and continue our ramble along pass the service station with what was once a little industrial estate down
Tumblr media
the side and round the back, I think that planning was obtained and a little estate of houses was built there, of course it was originally owned by a co-director of a company of which I was the Company Secretary. almost immediately opposite were a row of terraced cottages once owned by a certain Dan Mackleden. He who went to America and came back with some wonderful marketing ideas and branded his Bramley Apples, "Dan's Souper Doupers" marketed in a wooden non returnable 30lb box with the cover printed by a local stationary company. One of our irregular members used to live in those cottages but never visited that local pub, or so she said but one of our puddle jumper drivers had his nose broken in there one Saturday evening. Just along the road a bit further there's a raised layby with another row of houses and a farm entrance into a decent cherry orchard or two and we tried our hardest to get involved as this grower had planted new Canadian varieties, like Sunburst or Sunset on Colt 45 rootstock and these were making over £10 per 10lb tray, A £1 a pound wholesale, so lots of commission and I can't remember the grower's name. Perhaps it was Fermor, who nose. We're heading down the road and pass what was a dance theatre before it burnt down but was once a decent farmyard complete with cold stores and access at the top of an awful hill for large lorries. We tried to purchase his twice but were beaten off, as this would've been and excellent depot for our puddle jumpers and there was a decent house onto the adjoining lane with a connecting footpath. The daughter living in the house became a well known film star and at the next crossroads on the left sits another house rented by another film star of old and a few of us regulars at the Sutton Valence Swan one Saturday night were invited to a party there. Once again, nobody still alive can remember anything. Oh dear. The crossroads are famous throughout the area and the farmer previously stated also ran the farmland in the south east corner and immediately opposite, in a row of cottages lived Jacko Jackson, the East Sutton opening fast bowler. Next door to these cottages is a new hospice, where those suffering from an outbreak of MRSA were transferred from the Boxley Unit to recuperate before returning. This was overlooking an excellent cricket ground complete with pavilion. On the other side of the road was the local village sports ground where cricket and hockey were played
I played there once for the Swan team and the whole eleven had one particular attribute, plus the demon farmer bowler mentioned before had a windmill type of action and nobody, even he, never knew just which arm he would bowl from. Very confusing for everyone
His sister stated in a recent post in the “Maidstone, I remember it well “ that he was threatening to retire soon. Crikey, no more the raconteur taking centre stage in the Raglan or Lashing’s kit man. There’s a footpath to the north of the sports field which circumnavigates the excellent public school where my eldest two won scholarships but ended up at the cheaper option, the grammar school. So we’ve by passed three public houses and an hotel. The first on the main road is now under new management and the hotel has been run by the same sporting family for ever or so it seems and then to the village post office opposite s little chapel that did an excellent Christmas Eve service
Then straight over Boyton Crossroads where we meet up with that aforementioned footpath that Barry Walker is so familiar with and via Bob Skinners farm pass Court Brooms and take a left to pass the naughty girls home again and we’ll end up where the hall with the odd door handles were
Happy daze
15 related questions 1)farm next door 2) farmer's name 3) local area name 4)service station name 5)industrial estate name 6)irregular attendee 7) pub name 8)hotel name 9) pub name 10)pub name 11) chapel name 12)Bob Skinner's Farm 13)Court Brooms ? 14)local naughty girl;s home 15)local pub name complete with hall Perhaps for a tie break one could ask just who the original farmer's sister was and what was her father's profession and just what she has to do with Three French Hens
After all it is Christmas

FRIDAY; 08/25/2034
─ 𝗕𝗔𝗞𝗨𝗚𝗢𝗨 𝗞𝗔𝗧𝗦𝗨𝗞𝗜
The week passed very quickly. Deku had tried to talk to me again and again, but I simply blocked.
It sounded so stupid in my head, but Deku's behavior on Saturday had hurt me very much. This feeling was new for me. Never had I relied on anyone. I did it once and then regretted it right away...
Today was the day of that stupid party I would go to anyway, even if I thought it was stupid. It is definitely stupid.
Shitty Hair had certainly gone to a lot of trouble with the others, and even if I didn't show it, I liked Shitty Hair and the others, so I was going to do them the favor.
Someone knocked on my door and opened it seconds later. Speak of the devil...
"Bakugō?" he asked, stepping into my room.
"Yes, Shitty Hair?"
"Can you help us?", I couldn't help but breathe all annoyed, "It's nothing big, really!"
"What is it?", I can't believe I'm seriously caving in.
"We just need someone to set up the tables. They're pretty heavy, even for me and Mezo. It's super fast too; honestly," his grin was so wide you could see his teeth.
"Alright, but I have to change later, so we'll have to hurry."
"You're coming?" he asked incredulously.
"I promised you I would. You think I'm breaking my promises, Shitty Hair?" sparks flew from my hands.
"No, no. Of course not."
─ 𝗠𝗜𝗗𝗢𝗥𝗜𝗬𝗔 𝗜𝗭𝗨𝗞𝗨
I sat on the couch of the common room and watched Kacchan setting up the tables. Well, watching was a nice way to put it.
"Stop staring like that!" whispered Todoroki to me.
"Have you seen his arms? And his muscles...", the next moment heat rose to my face.
"Are we done?" shouted Kacchan across the room.
"Yes, thank you Bakubro," you could hear Kirishima's fists slamming together. Sometimes I'm really jealous of him.
"Yeah yeah, whatever. See you in a bit Shitty Hair!", with the words he had disappeared to the upper floors.
─ 𝗕𝗔𝗞𝗨𝗚𝗢𝗨 𝗞𝗔𝗧𝗦𝗨𝗞𝗜
Even if there were not many tables, I sweat as if I had run 15 km. Sometimes I really curse my Quirk...
Quickly I went to shower, after all I had not much time left.
Freshly showered I put on my only shirt, what I owned. Mina had the stupid idea to introduce a dress code. Although this pink alien had managed to get me to wear a shirt, she could forget about the tie.
Before I left my room, I looked in the mirror once more and checked that everything was in place.
↳ time skip 𖦹
"Bakubro, there you are!" shouted Kirishima from the corner where the tables were.
"Did I take this long or what?", why do you always react so annoyed and aggressive?
"Don't get mad right away, Bakugō. Here, beer for you.", Mina handed me an open beer, whereupon everyone else standing around us bumped their bottle against mine and started a conversation.
I listened and interjected a sentence or two every now and then, but my gaze was almost continuously on Deku. Isn't this the seventh cocktail he's had? For all of them being non-alcoholic, he looks pretty drunk.
It took a brief moment for my brain to put the puzzle pieces together. Shit, they're not non-alcoholic...!
Deku and I were separated by only a few feet, so I ran over to him and his weird friends.
"How dare you flat-earthers give Deku alcohol!!!", I yelled at everyone, but especially the IcyHot bastard.
"What do you care! You haven't cared all week. Just like all the fucking years before that," he was talking slower than usual, but actually you couldn't tell he was drunk. And he cursed...
"I didn't ask for your opinion, Deku."
"Of course, as usual. You just avoid all things unpleasant to you," Really now, Deku?
My face turned away from the bastard's to look at Deku, "You want to argue with me?", I asked him seriously.
"Gladly!" he hissed back
"Good!", I grabbed Deku by the waist and slung him over my shoulder. Together with him, I made my way to my room.
"Should we go after them?", Denki asked.
"No, let them talk it out. I don't think Bakugō will hurt him. And even if he does, we'll hear it then."
"I can walk myself!" muttered Deku at my back.
"Certainly not in that addition," why am I so mad that he was drinking?
↳ time skip 𖦹
In the room, I dropped him on the bed and took a few steps away from it, then paced up and down in my room. What am I supposed to do now?
"What's your fucking problem anyway!", since when the hell does Deku swear so much?
"What my fucking problem is?", I yelled back.
"Yes. Since you know I don't have a Quirk, you've been treating me like shit. And now that I have a Quirk, you treat me even shittier. What did I do to deserve this?" he yelled at me again.
"I was scared for you!", I yelled at the green-haired man who was sitting on my bed.
"Scared? You? About anyone but you?", he started laughing. And that provoked me so much that I ran to him, grabbed him by his collar and pulled him to my face.
"Yes! Do you remember what happened right at the beginning of the first year; in USJ? Imagine if you hadn't had Quirk then. What would you have done then?", Deku had to swallow and his eyes widened slightly.
"Exactly! You would have died. I didn't want anything to happen to you all those years," I don't know why, but all at once all aggression left my body and I lowered mine.
"And later... I don't know what that was either. I think I was just so frustrated that you stopped looking up to me. I wasn't your number one anymore and it felt so shitty. At least as shitty as it sounds right now," God this is embarrassing...
Suddenly I felt Deku's hands on my face and looked up again.
"You've always been my number one," he smiles so sweetly.
"Hmm, I don't quite understand. What do you mean?", I asked cautiously.
"Even though you treated me the way you just did, I always looked up to you. You were always, and are, my number one Kacchan," my eyes widened. I couldn't say anything back.
I also didn't have enough time to think about it and digest the whole thing, because Deku pulled me to him in the next moment and pressed his lips to mine.
And me? I couldn't help but kiss him back.
Carefully, after a few minutes, I stroked my tongue over his lower lip, asking for entrance, which he actually granted me.
This reaction increased my already huge ego and made me pin him to the bed by his arms.
My warm fingers slid under his red shirt to trace his rather defined muscles there.
It was the moan he let out that brought me back to my senses. I removed my hand from his body, as well as my lips from his. My head hovered a few inches above his.
"What's wrong?" whispered Deku.
"You're drunk...", I answered him.
"So what?" it came back, confused.
"We- I can't do this while you're drunk," I dropped down on Deku, but was careful not to expose him to my full body weight. Loudly, I let out a sigh.
Deku chuckled softly. What's so funny now?
"We can just continue tomorrow...", a few seconds later I felt his fingers gently stroking through my hair.
"Deku-", he simply interrupted me.
"I may be drunk, but I'm aware of what I'm saying, Kacchan," again a soft giggle escaped his lips.
What an idiot..., I thought to myself, yet I am at least as big an idiot as he is....
─ THE END

Keep Watching. 15
Ch14 Ao3 FFnet
---
Chapter 15
As I got off the train, I happened to see Deku. How did I miss him when I walked to the station? Either way, I watched as he pulled out a foldable skateboard and road off. When he did take up riding? And while I watched him, I wonder how I would bring up what I learned yesterday. Maybe there's a reason he has to be very secretive about his quirk. Whatever it was, I will get answers today.
The morning went by smoothly, but it was at lunch that I was confused. Sitting in front of me were shitty hair and raccoon eyes. At first, I was ready to leave the table when I remembered what happened yesterday. Even when everything past losing to Deku was a blur, I do recall talking to these two idiots. But what really got me was the third person. "What the hell?"
Even though they were talking a little fast for me, I was still able to keep up. At least they don't mumble like Deku. Not to mention, I was impressed with spark plug's quirk. And if I'm training with them, then I would be able to learn their weakness. Maybe I will be able to use them to my advantage. Or not having need of Deku's notes.
Lunch was nosier than I was used to, but somehow I felt comfortable. These three didn't try praising me for my quirk. In fact, after what happened yesterday, the focus wasn't on me. Instead, they were asking for my help. They needed me? And that somehow had me feeling weird. At least, a good kind of weird. I like it.
While heading out of the lunch room, I noticed something off. Looking over at Deku, I could see he hasn't eaten. Damn, nerd! Even in high school, do I have to remind you to take care of yourself! It gets tiring to worry about you. I stormed my way over and forced him to sit back down. "Hey! Leave Deku alone!"
I looked to round face, and she immediately sat back down. If these two idiots are going to call themselves Deku's friends, they better start acting like it. Once I saw that Deku ate I removed my hand and started again to leave the lunchroom.
The rest of the day seemed to go by quickly. And when it came time to leave class, the 3 idiots walked over to my desk. "Got any plans for after school?" I tried to look past raccoon eyes as I noticed that Deku was heading out.
"Yeah." Shitty hair started to talk, but I didn't hear a word he said. Instead, I was already on the move to get going.
"Are we still up for training this Saturday?"
I looked over my shoulders at the idiots. "My place." With that, I left class. It wasn't hard to catch up to Deku. But I did notice he was in a hurry. "Nerd." He looked back and smiled at me. And before I could say anything, he started to run. What the hell? I quickly tried to catch up. When we got to the shoe lockers, he tried to replace his shoes with his sneakers quickly. And I did the same. I then watched as he dropped her foldable skateboard before running out of the school.
I grabbed his board as I continued to chase him. That's when I saw he had a second board. Wait a minute. I unfolded the board in my hand and tried to catch up to him. Deku was laughing the whole time as we rode down a couple of blocks. It was somewhat of a hassle when he did random turns, yet I still caught up. It wasn't until he turned into an ally that I felt something was really off.
When I turned into the ally, Deku was not even there. I did see that a dumpster lid was open. Do I fall for the same trap? That's when I hear something was coming my way. So I ran and jumped into the dumpster and closed the lid. When I was inside, I felt something cover my mouth. "Shh." Deku?
As I stood quiet, I could hear footsteps outside the dumpster. "I could have sworn I saw him go this way. Could I be seeing things at my age?" Was that All Might? I tried my best not to panic, as I still could hear foots making their way toward me. That was until I heard other voices. "Oh, hello, officers. There's no trouble. I simply thought I saw a villain nearby and wanted to check."
Soon the footstep started to fade into nothingness. After a moment, when I was sure I heard nothing, I bit whatever was covering my mouth. "Ow, Kacchan." I fucking knew it. "Just hold on for one more moment. The police are going to come back." How did he know that? "It never fails. Whenever All Might is in the area, the police always double-check where he said he saw something." That's when I heard footsteps again.
This time around, the footsteps left just as fast as they came. With that, I felt movement behind me before I saw that Deku opened the dumpster's lid. We then both climbed out. After making sure no trash was on us, I smacked the nerd behind the head. "What was that all about?" He just looked at me for a moment before grabbing the boards from the dumpster. "Hold on, nerd. We have to talk."
He just handed back the board I was using and got on his. "Then come on." With that, I followed Deku wherever he was trying to lead me. It took us a while, but he brought me over to a storage company. I watched as he pulled out an ID and showed it to the front desk. "Where is unit 87?" The lady behind the corner just looked at him before telling us the unit was on the third floor. "Thank you."
Once we got to unit 87, I watched as Deku got a key and opened it. He then turned on a switch, and the lights came on. "What the hell, nerd?" Inside the unit was a set of orange beanbag chairs and some lockers that lined one wall. "When were you able to get a place like this?"
Deku pulled me into the unit and closed the door behind me. "At the moment, I can't tell you Kacchan. But I will, eventually." I then watched him go to one of the lockers and pulled out some drinks. "Water?"
I grabbed the bottle from his hand and went to sit on one of the beanbag chairs. "Why was All Might chasing us?"
"I don't know. But after yesterday, I had a feeling he would be watching us. I'm glad you were able to tell that I needed you to follow me. You're so amazing, Kacchan." Deku had the biggest smile as he sat in the other beanbag chair. "So, what is it you wanted to talk about?"
I took a chug at some water before I continued to look around the storage unit. "After what you told me, I decided to check something online." I looked to Deku and saw how he was looking at his water bottle. "I found an interesting article about a war." He didn't seem to move from his position. I just hope I was wrong. "It had to do with some freak who was able to take and give quirks. Do you know anything like that?" The nerd nodded, but he still wasn't looking at me. "Another article talked about a potential brother and the two soldiers who found him."
"Soldiers?" That's when Deku finally looked at me.
"This power that was given to you, do you know much about it?" Deku shook his head. "Do you know its history?" Again, he shook his head. "What do you know about it?"
"That it was handed down from one person to another."
"Are you able to tell me who gave it to you? And why?" Deku shook his head. I let out a sigh. "I won't ask any more questions. But," I stood up and walked over to him. I pinched his right cheek. "You better master that power. Because I want a fair fight. You got lucky yesterday."
Deku then smiled and let out a short giggle. "I'll do my best, Kacchan. After all," I removed my hand, and he stood up. "I can't fail if I don't try."
"That's bull crap." I couldn't help but smirk as I grabbed him by the collar and pushed him back. "There's only victory and nothing else." With that said, we both left the storage place and made our way to the station. Come the next day, something felt odd. Besides Deku catching up on hero news and learning that All Might has been dealing with villains all morning. There were also the reporters at the school entrance, who were super annoying. Then when the alarms went off during lunch. I wasn't liking whatever was going on. Especially knowing my class was going to do another training exercise today.
Once we got back after lunch, the rest of the classes went by smoothly. But during homeroom, Mr. Aizawa handed out sheets that informed us about the training exercise that was happening tomorrow. As the class cheered, I had a strange feeling. Especially with how I felt I was being watched. After what happened yesterday, I started to question something. How did All Might know me and Kacchan were talking at the entrance? And how did he know what I told him?
As I walked out of class, I tried my best to keep a steady pace. It would be best if I didn't seem suspicious. That was until I heard someone was behind me. "Nerd." When he said my name, I felt my heart racing. That's when I had an idea. Knowing Kacchan, he's going to want to talk with me. Especially with how he seemed to be in a good mood; compared to yesterday. Maybe this is my chance.
I started speeding from one block to another. If I knew Kacchan, he would be able to keep up with me. It made me grateful that I had a spare skateboard with me. Before long, I spotted some police officers and zipped in front of them. "Watch it, kid!" Good. They were looking at me. I then went to the alleyway and saw an open dumpster. Kacchan, you better take the hint.
It wasn't long before a certain blonde boy jumped into the dumpster. I quickly covered his mouth the moment the dumpster's lid closed. "Shh." As I listened for footsteps, I was horrified when I heard All Might. So, he was following me. This isn't good. What's worse was that I had dragged Kacchan into this. Kacchan… Oh, god! I'm holding Kacchan!
Realizing this, my face was on fire, and I could feel my heart beating in my ears. But I tried to stay calm. There is no time for panic. Once we made it to the storage unit, I was once again trying not to panic. Even though I was completely alone with Kacchan. Before my mind started to wander into dangerous territory, I went to grab a few drinks. "Why was All Might chasing us?"
"I don't know." I watched as Kacchan took large gulps from his water bottle as I spoke. It was very hard to look at him without my face feeling on fire. It didn't help when he unbutton more of his shirt to cool off. Thankfully this unit had an air conditioner. So it didn't take long for us to start feeling cool. I tried my best to remind myself that Kacchan wanted to speak to me about something. "You're so amazing, Kacchan. So, what is it you wanted to talk about?"
As he took another gulp of water, he looked away from me. "After what you told me yesterday, I decided to check something online." Wow! Kacchan is so smart. Wait! I quickly looked at my own water bottle as I waited for what I knew was coming. He then went about telling me what he found. Which was something about a war. And from the sounds of it, it was similar to what All Might had told me. But there was something that threw me off.
"Soldiers?" Kacchan looked at me and nodded. He looked back at the door of the unit. He then asked me questions I did not and could not answer at this time. But maybe answering that last question would give him some clue without saying too much. After all, I'm not too sure if I could tell him without All Might finding out. "That it was handed down from one person to another."
"Are you able to tell me who gave it to you? And why?" I quickly shook my head. As much as I wish to tell him, I wasn't sure if it was safe. Please, Kacchan, I hope you know I'm not trying to lie to you. "I won't ask any more questions." That was a relief. "But." I watched as Kacchan walked over to me. As he did, my heart started to race again, and my face began to burn. He then pinched my cheek as he looked me in the eyes. "You better master that power. Because I want a fair fight. You got lucky yesterday."
"I'll do my best, Kacchan. After all," I couldn't help but giggle as I stood up. I tried not to focus too much on the fact that we were inches apart. But with a deep breath, I looked into Kacchan's amazing red eyes. "I can't fail if I don't try."
"That's bull crap." I watched as Kacchan smirked at me before pushing me back. "There's only victory and nothing else." The way Kacchan looked as he stood over me made him look even more like a hero. And he was so right. I have no choice but to win.
As we made our way to the station, I couldn't stop giggling. Not only was I able to tell Kacchan something, but I also had the chance to just be with him. That's when a troubling thought crossed my mind. There was no way I would be able to tell him. After all, there's a chance this is all pointless. Especially with what mom always had told me. If not for the fact that she was my mother, nobody else would want me. It didn't help whenever she cried saying things about how if only I were normal, she could have looked forward to being a grandmother.
Mom would constantly bring up how I did nothing outside of talking about heroes. Many times, she had shamed me for liking things that did not match what she envisioned for me. From how I dress to the way I behaved. Sometimes it was downright painful to hear her call me stupid and say that no woman would want me. She even argued that I needed to stop being friends with Kacchan. All because he had a better future than me. Her words just plagued my every waking thought.
And as I watched Kacchan from behind, I felt scared. Is there something wrong with me? Is it really that wrong to want something so badly to the point that it hurts? My chest started to hurt as I tried to catch my breath. I just needed to keep it together. There's no point in crying about this now. I have to focus on one thing at a time. Taking another deep breath, I tried to remind myself that I will become a hero first. Whatever happens after that could wait.

█🕹️👾🎮Chapter 7: Poison░▒▓█
March 29th, 2036, Saturday, 6:55 a.m. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------Now that everyone is still distracted by Winter, it was my turn to shine. I ran out of my hiding spot and threw the bat with all of my might at Drillbit.
BONK!
"Ow!" Drillbit cried out in pain. It was a success! My plan is working smoothly so far! Drillbit lost his grip on my friend who also fell on top of Scrap Metal.
You could even hear SM’s loud, glitchy shriek.
I kept running, running towards Airis. That feared girl.
"RRRRRRRRRRRRRRRUUUUUUUUUNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN!!!!" I screamed once I reached her and knowing that we were toast, without stopping, I grabbed her hand or wrist- I'm not sure! It's difficult to tell!- And get the hell out of here!
"C'MON WINTER!" Airis yelled out for him.
Since we were already far away from danger, it was difficult to tell if he heard her or not. Then again, dogs have a sharp sense of hearing, so I'm sure he'll catch up with us... Hopefully.
For quite a while, we both kept on running. We had to run at least as far as possible. This is because we know The Slayers are as nimble as that other character, Crowby. The unfortunate news is that Winter hadn't caught up with us... maybe my plan didn't work exactly as expected...
Prepared for murder.
***
We stopped to catch our breaths after a three-kilometre run... We'd been running like we were in a fundraising marathon! I had my hands on my knees while Airis leaned and placed her hand on a nearby tree. I felt sweat dripping from my forehead as my heart beat so fast that it felt like a thunderbolt supplying me with an immense amount of energy. When there is too much of it, it drains unexpectedly.
It was really impressive that we were able to run this distance, possibly because fear ran through our bodies till it wore out.
"That... was... close!" I huffed heavily, still catching my breath.
"Y-Yeah... but Winter... didn't... come with us..." Airis huffed out.
"I believe he'll... be fine..."
"Be fine...!? He's all alone... with that dangerous group!" She retorted with a snap of her free fingers.
On second thought, I don't want to die.
"This is impossible... They're real..?" I changed the subject right away before she got even angrier.
It's very unpredictable.
I stood up to see her looking stunned and confused at the same time.
"Hang on a minute... You know who they are?"
"Uh, yes!? They're The Slayers from 'War of Time,'. The video game is awesome and I've heard so many positive reviews about it! So of course, I would check it out! And became a wee bit addicted to it since, to be honest, hehe..." I grew hyped over that game, especially when talking about it. Airis has that phase as well but... she's more scared and confused at this moment... I didn't have my full attention to that, thanks to my over-excitement about 'War of Time.' Occasionally, I'm not her 'best friend', but it's not on purpose, more often by accident.
She has known me for as long as we can remember, and she doesn't react to it as much.
"You play 'War of Time'???"
"Uh? Did you not hear what I said? It's the most awesome game ever! Actually, now that I think about it... because it's popular, you would definitely have played it! Right?" There was a moment of silence between the two of us.
Airis expressed to me a strange look.
"Right... Now I know you play WoT. But why didn't you tell me?"
"I guess the topic didn't present itself," I shrugged, because I seriously don't know either.
"Well, in that case, we should friend each other- HEY, wait a dang minute! You changed the topic on purpose!"
"Damn, I thought I would get away with that," I looked dumbfounded at her, at least I tried.
"Don't know what you're talking about, Iris," I chuckled nervously.
"Dude, don't act like I'm stupid! You put my dog in danger!" Now she's getting a little upset but I'm sure I can handle this...
"Yes, yes, I know! I'll admit that. I-It was the only idea I could think of to get you out of there, and I don't have any intention of letting your dog get hurt, h-honest!" Her hazel eyes squint as well as a bit of glare.
"Mhm,"
"I'm serious! Ugh! Look, please don't be mad at me or even kill me! Because I'm positive that Winter will be ok, trust me, I know it," after a competitive staring contest, Airis sighed and her eyes softened.
She then closed them and pinched her nose bridge.
"Ok, ok. I trust you, and I trust that he'll be ok," she released her nose bridge to open up her eyes again, now seemingly annoyed.
"Well, that's great-"
"I will only murder you if we find him dead. I would be prepared to run if I were you," ... This is a bit unlike her.
I can guarantee that. I never heard her threaten so sternly before. What made her kinda like that? Did something happen or what? Nervously, I gulped and moved on.
"What happened when we were gone?" I asked.
For some reason, she becomes anxious and trails off her sentence, right off the bat. That was the fastest mood swing I have ever witnessed.
"Well..." She looked down to the side as she nervously touched her left pigtail, causing me to frown.
I remember crystal clear how scared she was. I understand it, but she had to at least explain what happened so I wouldn't have to be concerned about her.
"Iris," I clutched her shoulder worriedly.
She answered my question and moved her head to face me, gazing dead into my blue eyes. Then she explained everything that happened and her encounter with OTHER characters!
I was astounded to hear this- in fact, my blue eyes widened.
"They know where you live!?" I yelled practically in her face by accident, causing me to take a few steps back, in regret.
God, what is wrong with me? Yet Airis somehow didn't seem too startled by it (obviously she knew it was an accident). I don't know if I should be glad or mad that she didn't tell me all of this until now, but I don't care! It doesn't matter anyway!
"Yes, they know where I live... What's a little more strange is... they didn't come after me when I was at the front of the house with Winter..."
"Well... Yeah... I guess? So how did the group ambush you? Not talking about your place by the way,"
"After I hit Scrap many times until he got angry at me, Drillbit grabbed me from behind... Then the rest of the group joined in..." She took one breath of unsettlement.
"One last thing. What did Slaytrap say to you?" She didn't answer. I can tell she doesn't want to tell me which makes me feel a bit more anxious. There is no way Airis can keep this from me, especially when we're in a bizarre situation. "Iris?" She still didn't answer. I can see it in her hazel eyes, fear. I cannot help but feel frustrated. "Airis. What did he say?" My voice sounded very stern.
As soon as she understood my emotions, she finally responded.
Thud, thud, thud, thud!-
Or couldn't.
We could hear clanking footsteps coming our way. We turned around to see- Oh shit!
"Slaytrap and Ugiz-oz are coming!!"
"If we keep running on the road they'll surely catch up to us... unless," rapidly thinking. I took Airis again and led her into the bushland. The chase continued as we ran. "That should slow them down a bit,"
"I don't think we can lose them!" My crush yelled, frighteningly.
"Don't doubt this! We will!" I let go of Airis' hand so she could go in front of me.
This is because she's clearly wanted, and I didn't want her to accidentally trip. We were running a bit too close to each other.
I looked back to see Slay and Ugiz far behind us. I knew that would wor- Wait, what the hell?
Someone in a green suit with tubes attached to them approaches someone. He knew nothing about the face of the person other than assuming they might be a male figure. Oscar was seeing through someone's eyes, someone who may have been hurt. The figure reached someone who was lying on the ground, seemingly unable to get up. The figure knelt down. The last thing Oscar saw was a wicked smirk formed on the figure's lip and glowing... eyes? Weird glowing pairs of eyes.
...
"What's that all about? What did I just see?" Either it's an illusion or not, but that distracts me instantly! I mean, I completely forgot about everything-
"- LOG!"
"HUH!?!? WHOA!!!" Unexpectedly I tripped over a log, thanks to my brief distraction. "CRUD!"
"OSCAR!" I looked up to see the girl running towards me, then looked back to see the two bots catching up.
"Double shit!" I face up at Airis again to see her kneeling down to grab my arm, however, I stopped her.
"No! Airis! You shouldn't have come for me! You need to keep going!" The dark brown-haired girl just gripped my arm.
Her jaw dropped and wasn't too thrilled about it either.
"WHAT!? ARE YOU CRAZY!? NO! I can't leave you here! You'll get... Slaughtered!" ... I want her safe... I gave her a sad smile.
"Iris... please," I held her wrist and made her release my arm.
She was thinking so hard. She was looking at the bots and then at me about twice.
"But-"
"Airis Gamer, go! Please don't make me repeat, or we're both goners!" Finally! She agreed! Airis nodded unpleasantly and ran off, leaving me behind.
Now I have to deal with them. Just before I was about to get up, Slaytrap jumped over me to chase after Airis.
"You're shitting me!?-"
"OOF!" I was then pinned down by Ugiz-oz (he was pinning my shoulders).
"You must be LeaderSkater, AKA, Oscar Troyquake, correct?" ... I froze...
"How did you-"
"We know who plays. Many people like this pointless game. We see everything,"
"That's just flat-out creepy, man!" I screamed, struggling to break free from his grip.
He's pretty strong for a skinny ass bot.
"It is not our fault that The Creators made a screen for all of us to watch the players... Or that you all can control us. A worthless kid like you won't understand," I growled at his description of me.
I get it he's designed to be depressing and shit, but what the hell is he talking about???
"What is it you want!? Why are you here!? HOW ARE YOU REAL!?"
"Tsk, I can answer only one... Artron needs your pathetic girlfriend," my eyes were wide in a haze as well as mad yet flustered that he called Airis my 'girlfriend'... I mean, yeah, I like her a lot and I do want her to be my girlfriend one day but... C'mon! We're just friends for now! Wait- DID HE SAY ARTRON?!?!?
"Artron is here too!? But... Why would he want a thirteen-year-old girl? My friend, my secret crush??" I became so furious that I grabbed one of Ugiz-zo's arms to push him off.
It nearly worked but thanks to his tentacles from his back (I forgot he had them) he used two of his claw tentacles to pin me back down.
"Sorry, we don't want you to leave to call for help..."
"OH! Don't tell me-" The silver sorrowfully metal robot turned one of his hands into a dart bullet and pointed it at me! "FUUUUUCK!!" I kicked Ugiz's gut, causing him to FINALLY get off of me! Completely! Then I hurriedly got myself up and ran to save Airis.
***
I was looking for her everywhere, but thanks to the trails of broken branches and Slaytrap's footprints... I know where they are... not yet... For some reason, a few minutes ago I felt sick... My head hurt and I felt weak but I kept running through... for twenty minutes.
"Ah!" I groaned in pain till I stopped to hold my gut. Why in God's name FUCK does my stomach suddenly ache?! "E-Eh... I can't stop... now," even though a couple of bricks are tumbling over me. "I must... rescue Airis..."
BANG!
"AAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH!"
"A-Airis!" Still holding my painful stomach I ran to the sound of her incredibly loud scream.
It doesn't sound pleasant at all. Slaytrap must have caught her, damn it!
Just as I arrived, I saw an enormous tree blocking Airis' path. She looked like she was in a state of shock, and Slaytrap had trapped her.
"Shit! Fuck! Shit!" I looked around for something to throw at until my eyes caught a rock and a long tree branch.
That's the only option, I guess.
Picking them up, I threw a grey hard rock at Slay's head and ran around him when he wasn't looking... I didn't think this through...
The strong dark blue leader of the TS turned back around and noticed me.
Me holding a branch in a defensive position in front of my crush.
He smirked sinisterly at me.
"You leave... her alone, Slaytrap!" I scolded him...
"You seem like you're dying," I didn't quite catch that.
"Oscar..." That was Airis.
"Yeah?" I turned my attention to the brown-haired girl, who looked very horrid... I grew even more confused than ever.
"W-What..?"
"I-I-I found this dart stuck to your shoulder..." She held up the dart that she was talking about. I couldn't think properly... Oh waitttttt... "OSCAR! YOU'VE BEEN POISONED BY UGIZ-OZ!!!" Suddenly, out of nowhere, I began coughing so hard that my throat hurt so terribly (possibly bleeding internally inside my throat, yet it's not out of my throat). My legs began to tremble to the rocky ground, roughly. Meanwhile, Airis knelt towards me and placed her creamy skin hand on my forehead. "Oh no! And you're heating up! A-A-And you're looking very pale!" She exclaimed to me.
After coughing, I couldn't say anything. I think coughing made me shut up. Seriously, I couldn't say anything.
A sinister laugh erupts from Slay's lips(?), causing both of us our attention.
"U91Z-0Z did an excellent job at shooting his prey without his victim noticing it or feeling a thing," I glared up at him and grabbed the branch again, getting up slowly... but tumbled back down which made me land on Airis' lap this time. Slay mock furthermore. "Trying to stand up for your friend, LeaderSkater?" Fuck him! "Not so useful to help her now, hehe. Are humans really that weak? I expected rather... differently," randomly, I felt two arms wrapped around my chest.
Straight away I knew it was Airis.
"I don't know why this is happening but this has gotten too far! YOU'RE KILLING MY FRIEND!" Airis screamed in rage.
The leader, of course, doesn't give a shit about her cries and keeps smirking, a heartless smirk.
"I am not the one who poisoned him, Snowy_Sky_Husky," Slay defined as he crossed his arms.
The next thing I know, the fucking dark of armour, octopus Emo dude showed up from the shadows... Well, the sun is already up.
"The others are coming, Slaytrap..." he told him, letting out a 'sad' sigh, even though Slay wasn't looking at him.
The leader nodded but didn't say anything to his teammate... I can't think of a better insult for those bastards!!
"Ugiz-oz does have the cure to help your friend,"- he faced the shorter teammate- "Show them the cure," and ordered him.
Ugiz rolled his eyes.
"Whatever..." and held up a small black bottle that was around his neck.
"... That's the cure? I thought that was just an accessory?"
"Now, if you agree to come with us, we'll help your friend, but if you don't..." The leader took a big step closer causing Airis to clench her grip around me even tighter (kind of hurts.) I can tell for sure she's getting timider than ever. Weakly, I held her hand. I'm surprised that I haven't passed out yet. "We'll take you away from him and leave him to rot and die! So I would suggest you make the decision quickly if I were you. I'm no patient bot,"
"Damn it! I can't believe it! We're... I know Airis too well, she's gonna accept it!" Her head faced down at me while my eyes looked at her, tiredly.
She's giving me the look of 'I don't know what to do.' There's no point... I don't know either...
WHOOSH!
Huh?
"W-Winter!?" Airis gasped in a very surprising and joyful tone.
When I look closer, it is indeed Winter... See? I knew he'd catch up... Although... I don't think he's able to help us...
The white and black-furred dog stood in front of us, protecting us... In an instant, I felt the girl moving back, pulling me along with her.
Then the rest of the group came- Uh oh, my vision is getting blurry!
"No! Not now!" I blinked a few times to see if I could see, but of course, it failed. The world is spinning around me. My eyes feel heavy. I guess this is it... I couldn't do anything about it so I closed my eyes...
Game over, I guess... ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Instead, we’re all about Play-to-Win, and we can’t wait to explain how at PAX South.”Īnd if that wasn’t all, Astellia will be hosting a party on Saturday night beginning at 6:30pm at the local watering hole Merkaba in San Antonio. “We know the fear that so many MMOs wind up as Pay-2-Win in this genre, and we’re committed to making sure that Astellia never veers in that direction. We’re confident that we’re creating an MMORPG for fans of the genre, and one that they’ll be proud to call home later this year.” - Westley Conner, Producer on Astellia at Barunson. “We’re beyond excited to finally be able to show off Astellia at this year’s PAX South. It will also be livestreamed on Twitch/PAX here or here! The panel, No more Pay to Win with Astellia, will be hosted at the Falcon Theatre on Sunday, January 20th at 1230pm Eastern / 930am Pacific. The game utilizes average-sized segregated zones, allowing players large areas to explore, questing in, and engaging other players if and where. PAX South is when we’ll be hosting Astellia’s big reveal party - A Night with the Stars: The Astellia Announcement Party - and we’ll be running a panel PAX South where members of the team will show off the game for the first time publicly, explain many of its systems, and take questions from fans. It utilizes an interesting yet fairly basic blend of tab-target and action hybrid combat, which looks great, but leans more to the tab-target side of things. Due to launch later in 2019, with several planned beta periods coming up fast, Astellia is a AAA MMORPG where players collect dozens of magical companion fighters known as Astells, take them into battle in open world content, competitive team battlegrounds, massive persistent three-faction warfare, and tons of group and solo dungeons across the game world. And very soon at PAX South, fans will get a first look and a chance for hands-on time with Studio 8’s lush creation. Irvine, CA - January 14th, 2019 | Astellia is the evolution of the modern fantasy MMORPG that fans have been waiting for.

*** POST RACE REPORT - OAK LAKE DIRT DRAG ***
What a weekend! The turn out was amazing, the bikes were fast, the smiles were endless. I think it's safe to say that this weekend was a successful one!
Thank you to our Race Series Sponsor Capitol Motosports for bringing out some goodies for our race fam! Another thank you to our Race Weekend Sponsor FXR Racing for the gifts and prizes!!
Let's recap some of the highlights over the weekend. Our Saturday race held 163 riders and Sunday held 172 riders! We saw many new faces this weekend so a huge MDR welcome to everyone new! For those familiar faces, it was amazing to see you all again! Our fastest lap time was held by Cory Sidlar at 25:50, who placed 2nd place in his class! Congrats Cory!
We did need our medics this weekend for a few incidents, so a huge thanks to Axalta for being our Medic Sponsor! Our riders that did receive some injuries are on the recovery path and taking it day by day for the healing process, chin up guys and know you have all the support from the MDR Family!
Who loves the music we've got pumping throughout the start of the races? I am a huge fan personally, but I am curious if there is a song that helps get you pumped up? Drop it in the comments and we might be able to add it onto the playlist! Thanks to Quarry Ridge Racing for helping us out with bit of fun to calm the nerves!
A special shout out to our Pres, Mr Paul Swiscoski who was able to hop on the bike again and run his race! Although the tires did leave the ground at one point, I think the smile on his face was worth it and probably lasted longer than some of the kids smiles! Glad to see you back on there Paul!
Again, a huge shout out to everyone who made it out for the work party and the marking party! Without each of you, we would not have had a race to run!
A couple things to note about the weekend. We have our policies in place, so please familiarize yourself with them before our next race. Unfortunately we have had to repeat ourselves many times about the same rules so anyone not following the rules will have actions taken. Couple of the major ones:
-Pit Riding Policy - 1ST Gear! Not tapped out in first gear, slow first gear through the pits. There are many campers, pets, kids, people, bikes, vehicles...everything, around and it's the safety of yourself and those around you!
-Helmets - ANY PERSON on 2 wheels with a motor is subject to wear a helmet! Any person under 18 on any form of off road vehicle, is subject to wear a helmet!
-Pets - Please keep dogs on leashes and clean up after them! We may be in a field but there is nothing more annoying than stepping in dog crap and bringing it back into your camper.
-The rest of the rules on camping is on the website under camping, its a 2 minute read, but get familiar with the rules.
Our volunteer spots filled up as the weekend went on, thank you to those who tried out for the first time and those returning. We would still love to see some new faces in those volunteering spots as we move forward with a volunteer run club! Thanks to S.A.R. Sport And Recreation for being our Community Volunteer Sponsor! On that note, we ran short on Sunday to do more prizes, so I will be going live tomorrow morning to announce our winners for the weekend! I have all the names of the volunteers for the weekend, so stay tuned on that!
Congrats to all those who brought home some beautiful trophies this weekend! If you missed grabbing yours, they will be available at our August race for you to pick up.
Results will be up soon! Unfortunately with some rural internet upgrades, it's delayed the upload, but they will be posted ASAP!
Next up - Melita! Work party with be held Aug 13/14, more details to come with directions etc. If you have questions about what a work party is, what to expect, anything at all, please message myself! The race weekend will be held Aug 20/21! Stay tuned throughout the summer as we post some important information you don't want to miss! This will be posted on the website as well, so keep checking back!
Have a great few weeks and we will see you in August for the next round!

sleepy boys inc x gn!teen! reader headcannons
trying something new! i like bbs and all, but i wanted to write for other youtubers! lemme know if yall wanna see more content like this lol.
this takes place in a minecraft au!!! also, mentions of bad parenting/abusive parents
wc: 2,319
okay the sleepy boys
chaos incarnated, all of them. you can’t deny it
so, when tommy invites a friend from a local village, at first, everyone else is skeptical. since when has tommy made a friend who didn’t hate him within 20 minutes from all the screaming and insults he spewed?
unlike his friends, phil is more excited than anything. though he isn’t tommy’s dad, he feels like it sometimes, so he really wants to meet this new person who has caught the youngest’s attention
techno is very much not on board. he has a hard time trusting people at first glance and having been friends with tommy for the longest, he knows that tommy readily jumps the gun and attempts to befriend literally anything just because he can
and wilbur? indifferent for the most part. yes, he feels the need to make sure tommy is protected and cared for, but he also recognizes that this situation is out of his hands. the best he can do is hope that their friend isn’t an absolute asshole
so, it’s saturday. all three men are sitting on the couch in phil’s cottage, talking amongst themselves as they wait for tommy to come back. techno makes a joke about murdering them, which leads to phil scolding him about his violent tendencies
“you haven’t even met them yet, techno, what the fuck.”
wilbur is simply adding fuel to the fire, making little remarks here and there and watching the whole thing escalate to phil lecturing the piglin hybrid.
because of this, not one of them had noticed that tommy returned, with his newest friend. they both stopped at the sight of phil in dad mode, tommy considering just turning around and taking his friend as far away as physically possible
too late, since techno’s sixth sense made him whip around and stare at the newcomer. this made phil stop lecturing and wilbur quit giggling long enough for tommy to introduce his friend
after saying their name, the friend lifted their hand shyly, face burning from slight embarrassment. their other hand was latched onto tommy’s, feeling intimidated.
can you blame them? the fucking blood god looks like they wanna skewer them and cook them over a campfire.
tommy took notice of their shyness and cleared his throat, “we were planning on going to the carnival in their village if you three assholes feel like tagging along.”
like there was any way they were gonna let tommy and his friend go out without chaperones.
tommy turned back to his friend, “give me a second, i’m gonna go grab my sword just in case.” and proceeded to run up the stairs and towards the guest bedroom in phil’s house that he claimed.
the millisecond he was out of earshot, techno grabbed his friend by the front of the shirt.
“what are your intentions with tommy?”
the friend blinked once, twice, then bit back a smile. “you’re asking that as if i’m about to date that motherfucker.”
this time, it was wilbur who bit back a grin of his own. who would’ve expected the originally shy kid to have replied like that????
techno’s brain short circuited and his grip on their shirt loosened slightly. did.... did this kid just brush off his question???
“can you put me down? you’re gonna stretch my shirt.”
techno’s brain blinked back into focus and he gripped the kid’s shirt harder, shoving them against the nearest wall. “i asked a question, kid.”
“you know, tommy told me something like this would happen. i’m glad i came prepared.” and then, tommy’s friend sucked in a deep breath. techno leaned back, expecting the worst...
“MWISTER TECHNWOBWADE, PWEASE PUT MWE DOWN BEFWORE I SCWEAM”
oh god, this was far worse than anything he thought of.
he dropped the teen out of disgust more than anything, reeling backwards. if there was one thing that haunted his dreams, it was uwu-speak.
phil started howling of laughter, clutching his stomach and hunching over. originally he was going to stop techno from threatening a literal child but this outcome was so much better than anything he was anticipating
wilbur was no better, already tearing up from how hard he was snickering. he started choking on his own spit at one point, smacking his arm against the couch.
tommy was so fucking confused when he came back down the stairs, seeing the mayhem that was, for once, not caused by him. he glanced at his friend, who had the world’s biggest shiteating grin.
yeah, they were gonna fit in just fine.
and they did! phil took them under his wing (both physically and metaphorically) and allowed them to come visit his home whenever they wished. and whenever they did, phil was the first to ask how they’ve been and what they were up to
to phil’s surprise, the kid was overall calm in their choice of activities. things like playing soccer or drawing or figuring out how to learn instruments in their free time. it seemed like they were desperate to get their hands on anything and everything just to learn
he found it funny, though, when their chaotic side shone through. they easily were on tommy’s level when they got into that headspace and it was so hilarious to him.
his favorite memory of the kid was when they walked into the house and marched right up to where techno was reading idly in the corner. planting their hands on their hips, they spoke.
“if you were to fuck a clone of yourself, would it be masturbation or would you be considered gay?”
phil, who was washing the dishes six feet away from them, just about crumbled into a ball on the floor from how hard he was laughing and sobbing.
of all questions, that was the one that came out.
but he had no idea that the chaos was a coping mechanism. he just thought they were naturally like that in their free time.
he soon found out the truth when they came home with tommy, who was cursing up a fit, visibly angry. his friend was slumped over, as if trying to hide themselves from the world
when phil asked what had happened, tommy exploded.
“their fucking dad took all their money from their savings! said he needed it more than them and when they asked for it back, he called them a fucking disappointment! that fucking bitch--”
phil can count very few times when he felt true anger and he can confirm that when tommy had told him what had gone down, he saw red.
but he knew better than to outwardly show it. judging by how hunched over and defeated the kid was, what they needed was a stable support system
so he walked over and shut tommy up with a hand on his shoulder, “why don’t we take the rest of the night to build up that game room you wanted in the basement. i’m sure if we knock it out before techno and wil are supposed to be back, we can all play something like monopoly.”
seeing where phil was headed, tommy nodded and brushed away his anger. he knew that what his friend needed was a serious cheering up. tommy ran towards his guest bedroom, claiming that he was going to find his blocks.
phil crouched in front of the teen, tilting their head up to look him in the eyes. “you’re not a disappointment. you’re an amazing person with a chaotic joke machine going 120 kilos over the speed limit in your head and you are talented. your dad doesn’t know shit about what you’re capable of doing.”
oh boy, the kid’s crying. those are tears, full on tears.
that night was one of the best nights of their life, however. they enjoyed the entire three hour long game of monopoly where they watched the light leave everyone’s eyes. it was funny when wilbur lunged across the table when he landed on a railroad, out for phil’s blood.
speaking of wilbur, he enjoyed every minute in the kid’s presence. they often asked creative and random questions and went along with the abstract jokes he made, the two of them laughing heartily the entire time.
when the kid first mentioned wanting to learn how to play the guitar, he practically burst through the wall of the room next door, breathing heavily and exaggeratedly.
“did someone say guitar”
yeah, he’s feral. that’s canon.
they proceeded to spend the entire day in phil’s garden, each of them equipped with a guitar. despite their outwardly smooth brain and stupid demeanor, the teen was a fast learner and could play the most basic chords by the time the sun was setting.
wilbur’s favorite moment was the first night they met, when they went to the carnival. there was the game where you shoot the water and fill up the balloons and the kid was going head to head against techno and tommy.
it was when techno won that the teen turned to techno with murder in their eyes and spoke in a deadpan tone of voice,
“you’re lucky you won this time, you gentrified mayo monkey.”
wilbur’s jaw dropped, as did techno and phil’s. tommy was already in hysterics, smacking his hand against the counter that held the guns.
needless to say, wilbur found his favorite, not-quite sibling in a heartbeat.
techno was the last to come around with the child. can you blame him? every time he tried to threaten them or had beaten them at something, they would respond in a cryptic threat--
“i’m going to pee your pants if you don’t let me win”
or just brushed him off. without a second thought.
“anyways, i was murdering a chicken the other day, and the fucker had the audacity to ribbit at me.”
to say he was confused was an understatement. he was terrified of the fact that a literal child held so much power and disinterest in things like their own life. so for the first few months, he avoided them.
but he had seen past that when it was around midnight on a weekday. tommy was hanging out with tubbo and ranboo in their village miles away from the area. wilbur was out drinking with schlatt, niki, and fundy, and phil was already asleep.
techno wasn’t too far behind, sitting in front of the fireplace and staring out of the window that showed the front yard. it was only then when he saw the flash of a familiar face and looked closer as the teen walked up to the house quietly. their head was down and they carried a small bag with them.
techno opened the front door with a long creak as they reached the porch steps. it was only when they jumped and looked up in surprise that techno had noticed a deep bruise on their left cheek in the moonlight.
despite the fact that he kept away from them, techno was very protective and territorial of tommy, phil, and wilbur. and since they were attached to the teen, he became protective of them as well.
so all the voices in his head went quiet for a second. before exploding into a mixture of screams and threats, all leading back to protecting the child in front of him.
without thinking, he reached forward and cupped their face for a better view of the bruise. at the warm and soft touch, tears slipped down the kid’s cheeks and they sniffed pathetically.
the voices quickly took a 180, all screaming to take care of them. make them feel better. so, techno led the kid inside and let them spend the night in his room, with them falling asleep on the bed and him falling asleep on the rocking chair in his room.
phil did not hesitate to officially declare himself as the teen’s official father, saying that their biological father was a “little bitch”
now somewhat living with the teen, techno found an appreciation for their quieter moments, when they were reading or simply daydreaming. it was cute, in his eyes. but he also grew to enjoy when they were absolutely feral, especially toward tommy.
his favorite moment with them was when they had gifted tommy a music disc for his birthday. it was sweet and sentimental and tommy just about burst into tears when he saw it.
all of the sappiness quickly vanished when tommy put it into a jukebox.
“FUCK THIS PUSSY, BOY, FUCK. FUCK IT RIGHT, BOY--”
tommy had let out the most terrified scream and it practically engrained itself into techno’s brain. it was the first time he ever laughed at something the teen had done and the teen felt proud of themselves.
and finally, tommy. he was already happy to call himself a friend of the teen’s. they were like peas in a pod, working together.
tommy came to them when his insecurity felt heavy and they came to him whenever their dad’s words got to them. they had a nice system of dependency on one another and neither of them would trade it for the world.
tommy’s favorite moment of being friends with them was during their first birthday living in phil’s house. it was a birthday befitting their personality, with brightly color streamers hung and confetti all over the floor. he knew that they enjoyed it severely and once the cake was cut, the kid turned to phil.
“phil, where’s the big tiddy strippers i requested?”
tommy was GONE
he all but choked on his slice of cake and walked away, shaking his head while trying to stifle his giggles. but when he heard phil’s scream of “WHAT”, he just lost it.
all in all, his friend had made a fine part of the sleepy boys. they were a happy face in an otherwise somewhat bleak and dangerous world. and all four men appreciated it.

PANDA ~|~ NANAMI x FEM!READER
Summary: Nanami and Yuuji stop into the local bakery. Nanami finds something he wants that’s off the menu.

------------------------------------------------------
“Daddy! Look!”
It was a bakery they had passed multiple times on the way home, living just next door to it. It was small, tucked into one half of the ground floor of the low building it occupied, sharing a wall with a pharmacy. It served reasonably priced pastries and sandwiches, as well as some of the best coffee in Tokyo. Nanami usually took Yuuji there once or twice a month and let him pick what he wanted for breakfast.
The window display was almost always the same, Nanami would have missed the slight change as he tried to juggle the various bags they had accumulated from their early Saturday morning errands if his young son hadn’t pointed it out. He looked over to see the small bag of fruit he had asked Yuuji to carry on the sidewalk, a lone apple rolling away while his son stood on his tiptoes, his nose practically pressed to the glass.
Instead of the standard fare on the very top shelf, there was a row of buns in the shapes of various animals, with different fillings for each shape written neatly on cards next to each. Nanami had to admire the work, they were incredibly detailed.
“It’s a panda!” Yuuji looked back at Nanami and pointed at the aforementioned bun in the middle. “Can we get one?”
Nanami caught himself before denying Yuuji outright. He had been especially good today when they were running their errands, not complaining once as his father dragged him through town and entertaining himself in the various shops without getting into trouble. And they could go to the park later so Yuuji could run off his energy. A little sugar wouldn’t kill him.
“Sure. Go pick up your bag, though.” He pointed to the forgotten paper bag.
Yuuji quickly ran to pick up the bag (as well as the apple, adding it back to the bag before Nanami could tell him no), and grabbed his father’s hand to all but pull him into the bakery. It wasn’t as crowded as Nanami would have thought for a Saturday morning, something for which he was grateful. When there was a crowd, Yuuji liked to use people as obstacles and run around and through them as fast as he could. Only the obstacles moved, and he usually ended up on his butt more times than he would have liked.
They were able to go straight to an empty table to drop off their shopping before moving to the counter, and after a few seconds, one of the workers packaging cookies turned around, and Nanami’s breath caught in his throat.
It wasn’t like the bakery didn’t have pretty women working there-there were several, ones who would shamelessly flirt and try to butter up Yuuji as a means to get closer to his father, but Nanami didn’t indulge or even notice them. He was polite, got what he needed, then left. He never played into whatever fantasies the cashier of the month decided to dream up.
However, this time, it was hard to remind himself of that conviction when easily the prettiest worker he had ever seen there walked up to the register and smiled at him. Was she new? She had to be new, he’d never seen her before. He would have remembered seeing someone like you.
“Hi, welcome in.” You greeted and leaned against the counter. “What can I get for you?”
“Panda!” Yuuji yelled, his nose peeking over the top of the counter as he looked at you.
“Yuuji.” Nanami scolded and picked him up so he could actually see you. “Ask politely, son.”
Yuuji smiled at him then turned to smile at you. “Can I please have a panda bun please?”
You smiled and nodded. “Of course, sir.” You replied, making him giggle. Your smile widened and you finally looked at Nanami. “And for you?”
“I’ll just have a black coffee.” Nanami didn’t think he could focus on eating without choking if you were going to be walking around the bakery.
“Me too!”
“He’ll have a hot chocolate.”
“I want what you’re having.” Yuuji pouted. Nanami sighed and turned back to the counter.
“Make mine a hot chocolate too.”
You took his money and handed him a number for the table. “Give me just a second, I’ll bring everything to your table. Make yourself at home.”
Nanami nodded and lead Yuuji away from the big display case by the register back to their table, helping him out of his heavy winter coat when he was seated safely. He tried his best to listen to his son as he talked about a dog they had seen earlier today during their shopping trip, but he was finding it very hard to focus.
His eyes kept wandering back behind the counter, watching as you made their drinks and talked with the other workers, laughing along with them at a joke someone had said. He’d never felt this kind of attraction toward another person. It was irrational. He didn’t know you. Yet he still felt that draw.
There had been other women before Yuuji had come into his life, even a few dalliances on nights when Gojou would take him out and Toji would stay home to watch the kids, just to satisfy that primal need. There was even a girlfriend at one point. But Yuuji had declared he didn’t like her after several months, and that was enough for Nanami to end the relationship. There was no point in pursuing a woman who couldn’t to get along with his son.
So why was it now, after finding contentment in being alone for so long, that all he wanted to do was go up and ask you, a complete stranger, on a date?
“You boys are lucky.” Nanami looked up and saw you were now standing next to their table, placing their to-go cups in front of them as well as Yuuji’s panda bun. “This was the second to last one.”
“Do you normally sell out quickly on the animals?” He heard himself asking, like the back of his neck wasn’t on fire right now.
“We only just started making them this week, but for the most part, yes.” You straightened from setting the food down and hugged the tray to your chest. “The red bean panda usually sells first. I suppose people are more used to the flavor.”
“What’s your name?” Yuuji asked suddenly, taking a big bite out of the head of his panda.
“I’m Y/N.” You smiled at the young boy. “What’s yours?”
Thankfully, Yuuji took the time to actually swallow his food before speaking, which was uncharacteristic of him. “My name is Yuuji.” His son said proudly. “I’m five.”
“It’s nice to meet you, Yuuji.” Your eyes turned to Nanami expectantly. “And your name?”
“His name is Dad.” Yuuji told her before Nanami could reply. She laughed, and he thought he hadn’t heard anything quite so wonderful today.
“And is that your first or last name?”
“Our last name is Nanami.” Yuuji answered again, cutting off his father as he opened his mouth to speak. “We live in the building next door.”
“Really? So I do. I just moved in. We’re neighbors.”
“Can I come visit you?” Yuuji asked excitedly.
“Yuuji, let’s not take up any more of the lady’s time.” Nanami interjected, noticing another customer had walked in, but also slightly embarrassed at his son’s oversharing.
“You’re fine, don’t worry. We already had our big morning rush.” You leaned in closer so the young boy wouldn’t hear what you were saying. “I put a shot of espresso in your cup. It should help if you need the caffeine.”
Nanami merely stared back when you pulled back and smiled again. He didn’t know how to respond to this kindness from a total stranger. You didn’t even know him, yet you spoke and cared as if you had been acquainted for a lifetime.
“Y/N!” A voice from the kitchen yelled before Nanami could open his mouth to thank you properly. “We’re almost out of spritz cookies!”
“Coming!” You yelled back and bowed slightly to Nanami. “It was nice to meet you, Dad-san.”
You were gone before he could reply. “It’s Kento.” He murmured to himself. However, Yuuji heard him and fixed him with a frown.
“Your name is Dad.” Yuuji said resolutely.
“I had a name before you came along.”
“And now it’s Dad.”
They sat quietly finishing their drinks, Yuuji swinging his legs happily as he finished his bun and watched the people coming and going in the bakery with wide, curious eyes. Nanami tried hard not to stare at you behind the counter as you worked, but his eyes kept drifting your direction of their own volition. He’d never felt this kind of pull before. He had to be imagining it. He was being irrational.
His line of vision as he watched the door to the kitchen, waiting for you to come out again after disappearing several minutes ago, was blocked when another server came up and set a brown bag with the bakery’s logo on the table. Nanami immediately picked it up and tried to hand it back.
“We didn’t order this.” He told the teenage boy.
“They’re on the house,” was all the boy said before going back behind the counter.
Nanami looked behind the counter and saw you had appeared again, now watching them. When he caught your eye, you smiled widely and gave him a small thumbs up. Looking inside the bag, there was a pair of peanut butter chocolate chip cookies, along with the last panda bun. When he turned the bag to put it in with one of the larger shopping bags from their trip, the black ink of a marker caught his eye. Pulling the bag back out, he noticed the same neat handwriting from the display case.
‘Thanks for coming in, neighbor ^_^’
He was truly fucked.

The Right One - F.W
Masterlist, Requesting Rules, Writing Prompts
Fred Weasley x Fem Reader
Prompt 31: “What made you think we were serious?” he spat “did you really think I’d go out with you?”
Requested/About: Fred is in love with his friend Y/N and knows he wants to marry her one day, he makes and move and they are looking forward to going on their first date - but all of that changes when George confesses his feelings for Y/N, to Fred.
A/N: I have a second part to this imagine which is smut based which you can now read: here
Warnings: swearing, mention of food and eating, a cheeky kiss towards the end.
Sitting high up in the stands, you’re watching Fred practice Quidditch, your heart skipping beats each time he flashes you a smirk or a cheeky wink, everything he does make you want him more - whether it be making a pig's ear of a potion, coming up with a new prank, chatting to his brother - hell, he simply breathes and you’re amazed.
Fred is head over heels for you, he already knows he’s going to marry you and whilst everyone is fast asleep at night, he goes over the plan in his head a thousand times making sure that when the day comes, everything will go perfectly to plan.
Unfortunately, the two of you were quite stubborn when it came to making the first move - you were too shy and scared of being rejected, and Fred felt anxious about making you uncomfortable - you were both trapped in the awkward ‘friends but too close to be friends but flirting but not dating’ phase - you not only confused yourselves but those around you who were aware of your chemistry.
The practice came towards an end and you walked down from the stands, your eyes glued on Fred, his veins bursting through his sweaty and dirt-stained hands, his hair standing up in all directions and sticking to his forehead, you smirked and giggled at the sight of him.
“How was it?” you smiled, walking towards him.
Fred paused for a moment, catching his breath and leaning on his broom “not bad” he panted “Slytherin are going to suffer”
You chuckled and brushed the hair out of his eyes, he had a questioning look on his face for a moment.
“Y/N” he said softly “d’you fancy going to Hogsmeade this Saturday, on a date?” he asked you, looking slightly nervous.
You felt as if time slowed down, that everyone else on the pitch had disappeared and you and Fred were the only ones there, instant excitement pooled in your tummy causing butterflies to sprout and take flight.
“I would love to” you smiled widely, blushing and nodding your head “yes!”
Fred smiled just as wide and nodded, pursing his lips and breaking out into another smile “brilliant” he nodded “I’ll meet you outside Zonko’s”
His twin George came rushing over, just as sweaty and dirty, he smiled nervously when your eyes met his, you didn’t think anything of it - George was always more quiet compared to Fred.
“Angelina wants a word” he panted “something about Ron needing extra practice”
Fred sighed and rolled his eyes, “see you later, love” he waved, turning around and following his brother.
“I have a date” you whispered excitedly to yourself “with Freddie!”
Hurrying off, you ran towards the castle, breaking inside and pushing through students and stumbling up the stairs to reach your dorm room, your date only two days away - you needed as much time as you could get to plan what you would say and what you could wear.
It was now Friday evening, tomorrow you would be on a date with Fred and just the thought made you giggle and blush, you told your friends who were just as excited, giving you all the advice you needed for one of the best days of your life. Laying in your bed, you stared out of the window, you were so excited you didn’t know if you were able to sleep.
Fred and George were sitting in front of the fire in the quiet and empty common room, coming up with ideas for their dream joke shop, but Fred noticed that George wasn’t being himself - he kept losing concentration and staring off into space, getting lost in his own thoughts.
“You okay Georgie?” Fred asked, staring at his brother.
George sighed, looking more anxious “if I tell you something, will you promise not to tell anyone?”
“I’m your bloody twin” Fred responded, sitting up in his chair and leaning towards George “of course I won’t say anything”
George swallowed hard for a moment and nodded, trying to figure out how to say this without Fred taking the piss out of him.
“You know Y/N?” George spoke up.
Fred’s heart started to pick up in speed, his attention fully on his twin “yeah, what about her?”
Fred didn’t mention you to George at all, George knew the two of you were close friends but he didn’t see the moments between the two of you that everyone said: “screamed chemistry”.
“I’ve got feelings for her, Freddie.” George confessed, looking away from Fred and staring at his shoes “I just didn’t want to say anything because I know she’s your friend.”
Friend
Fred felt the excitement crush inside him, part of him wanted to stop George in his tracks and tell him that you were going on a date with him tomorrow, but the other part of Fred dominated him - Fred would rather choose the happiness of his brother, who was more shy and quiet, than his own - the twin who had everything he ever wanted.
Almost everything.
“That’s great, Georgie” Fred forced a smile whilst his heart wept “she’s a really nice girl, I don’t blame you.”
A really nice girl that Fred would crush instead of letting her down gently. Fred went to bed and for the first time he didn’t bother going through the plans of the future proposal, then wedding, instead he tortured himself over George being the one to put the ring on your finger, making you his wife. He hid his face in his pillow and cried, knowing how bad he was going to mess things up, but as long as George was happy - that’s all that mattered to him, and he felt sure that you would move on and be much happier with the other twin.
“Ready?” your friend Alyssa smiled, looking you over once more.
You nodded and blushed again “I’m ready, just really nervous!”
Alyssa chuckled and handed you your bag “You’re bound to be nervous, but you’ll be okay, this is exciting!”
You took your bag from her and slung it over your shoulder “thank you for everything Alyssa” you pulled her into a tight hug, making sure you didn’t ruin your makeup or hair.
“Tell me all about it when you get back!” he ordered excitedly, pulling away from the hug and sending you on your way.
Arriving in Hogsmeade, you hurried over to Zonko’s Joke Shop, because you arrived early you had enough time to sneak into the shop and buy Fred some Hiccough sweets and Sugar Quills. Carrying the bag of Fred’s goodies, you waited outside for him.
Five minutes passed, then ten, then you reached one hour.
You felt your heart sink, worries and ‘what if’ scenarios filled your head and drowned out the noise of laughing students that passed by. Reaching three hours, it became clear to you that Fred wasn’t going to show up, tears filled your eyes and made your vision glassy, overflowing and running down your cold cheeks.
Storming back to the castle you stared at the ground, refusing to look up at anyone or anything, you sobbed and clutched onto the Zonko's bag so hard your hand started to cramp and your knuckles went white.
‘How could I be so stupid?’ you thought to yourself ‘I got myself dressed up in my best dress for nothing, waited outside looking like a fool while he’s probably laughing himself silly.’
But Fred wasn’t laughing himself silly at all, he didn’t get out of bed unless he needed to brush his teeth or go to the toilet, he refused to speak to George, Lee and Angelina. He curled up under his covers with tears falling down his face, his wand emitting light whilst he watched your footsteps on the Marauders Map, guilt surging through his body like poison when your footsteps stayed still and finally took off after hours of waiting.
Bursting into your dorm room Alyssa’s smile dropped and concern plastered on her face - your mascara and eyeliner streaked down your face from crying, your lips red and puffy like your eyes.
“Y/N! what's wrong? what happened?” she panicked, hurrying over to you.
You threw your shoulder bag on the floor, turning around you bumped into Alyssa and pushed the Zonko’s bag into her chest.
“He never showed up!” you wailed, storming into the bathroom and slamming the door behind you.
You dragged the warm wet rag over your face, wiping off your make up with so much force your skin got irritated and red, you stared at yourself in the mirror, hating your reflection, hating the dress you were so excited to put on hours before.
Alyssa knocked on the door, she didn’t want to pry and press you for answers, instead, she handed you your clean pyjamas and took your dress to put away, she walked into the bathroom when you opened the door, pulling you into a comforting hug whilst you sobbed in her arms.
Like Fred, you refused to leave your bed all weekend, you refused to speak about what happened. Perhaps you waited in the wrong place, perhaps he meant another week, you tried to convince yourself that this was your fault, that you got things wrong - but deep down you knew this wasn’t your doing, but Fred’s.
Sunday evening rolled around and Alyssa walked back into the dorm with a bag full of food, she sat on the side of your bed and opened up the bag full of your favourite puddings and drinks.
“The house-elves encouraged me to take as much as I could fit in this bag” she laughed lightly “please eat something sweetheart, it doesn’t have to be much”
You nodded and sat up in your bed, giving in you drank your pumpkin juice and had a few slices of Apple Pie.
Monday morning you were up early and out of bed, trying to be as fresh as a daisy as you could - everything was going well until you had double potions with Fred. You planned to ignore him, play it as if you didn’t care and that the loss was his, but your thoughts and needs for answers clawed at you until you couldn’t take it anymore.
“Have a good weekend, then?” you asked Fred bravely, watching your cauldron simmer.
“No comment” he replied, refusing to look at you, trimming his ingredients.
“Why did you stand me up?” you asked again, gaining more courage “think it would be funny?”
“No comment” Fred answered again, adding the ingredients to his cauldron, causing it to hiss and change from dark green to bright red.
You began to lose your patience but you didn’t give up, opening your mouth and asking Fred once more why he didn’t show up on Saturday made his guilt surge through his heart so painfully he didn’t know how to handle himself except lash out at you.
“What made you think we were serious?” he spat “did you really think I’d go out with you?”
Hearing his brothers outburst, George looked over to you and Fred, he had no idea what was going on but he had to do something - seeing you so hurt and upset made George feel sick.
You weren’t prepared for such a hard blow, you felt as if you had been slapped in the face and punched in the chest, you didn’t reply - you just stared at Fred with your jaw hanging, the tears you were controlling so well broke through and filled your eyes.
Fred’s heart broke even more at your reaction, he had broken the person he loved more than anything in the world and it would be too late now to make things right, to have you give him a chance to explain - but at least now he had given George a chance to play hero and pick up those broken pieces of your own heart to fix them the best he could.
You quickly took a sample of your potion and handed it to Snape, storming back to your desk, you picked up your bag and hurried out of the dungeons, breaking out into a sob - your wails so loud the class could still hear you.
George left his cauldron to overflow, running after you and calling out your name down the halls before he finally caught up to you. He pulled you into a comforting hug and you cried into his chest, gripping onto his warm woolly jumper.
“I wish it was you George” you cried “I really do, if it was I wouldn’t be in this bloody awful situation”
It dawned on George that this definitely had something to do with Fred and when he told him about his feeling for you. Sitting back in the same chairs in front of the fire in the empty common room before bed, George turned to Fred and searched his dull eyes.
“Do you like Y/N?” George asked quietly.
Fred shook his head “no”
George sighed and continued to stare at his brother “look at me, Freddie”
George knew that his brother couldn’t lie to his face and he knew by doing this he would get the right answers he needed.
“Are you in love with her?”
Fred paused and tried to lie but he couldn’t do it - he looked towards the dancing flames.
George finally understood and stood up “that’s what I thought” he stood behind his chair, wanting to know one more thing before he went off to bed “what happened between you and Y/N, you being grumpy all weekend and her being upset - does that have anything to do with what I told you last week?”
Fred put his head in his hands and nodded, George shook his head and sighed “that's what I thought, you should’ve bloody told me.”
George left the common room and went upstairs to bed, leaving his brother alone in his thoughts. Climbing in his bed, George knew exactly what to do in the morning.
George looked for you everywhere, you weren’t in the great hall for breakfast and you didn’t show up to any of your classes either, passing Alyssa he pulled her aside, asking where you were.
“the second floor, girls bathroom” she replied “and here” she rooted in her bag, pulling out the Zonko’s bag “give this to your brother when you see him, she got it him before he stood her up.”
George took the bag and thanked Alyssa, hurrying as fast as he could to reach you.
Sitting on the floor of the dingy toilets, you continued to sob in your hands, pressing them against your eyes that you could see confetti in your vision. Hearing footsteps coming closer to you, you removed your hands away from your face and opened your eyes, looking up at George standing over you.
George crouched beside you and began to rub your back, comforting you; he sighed deeply and knew it was time to tell you everything, the truth.
“I’ve got feelings for you, Y/N” he confessed softly.
This only made you feel worse, you lost Fred - someone you actually want to be with, and his brother who you care for is in love with you, you would rather sit your O.W.Ls all over again with your N.E.W.T.s at the same time than go through this.
You turned to face George, a look of shock and horror all over your face “George! You know this isn't the right time to tell me and if Fred-” you paused for a moment, feeling sick to your stomach.
“Does Fred know?” you asked quietly, looking at George.
George nodded “I told him on Friday after that Fred just went into a foul mood and you’ve been upset. He’s in love with you, Y/N, and I know you love him too.”
You stared at George, your mouth wide open, unable to process what you heard.
“He put my own happiness before his” George laughed and shook his head, pulling you into a tight hug, he smirks at you “He’s in his dorm room, go to your man” he encouraged you, handing you the Zonko’s Bag.
Feeling those same butterflies form and take flight inside of you once more, you hurried to Fred’s room, the biggest smile plastered on your face, which caught everyone’s attention, causing them to feel happy and talk amongst one another about you and Fred finally being on the same page.
Storming into Fred’s room, he walked out of the bathroom in nothing but a towel loosely covering his lower half at the hips, stopping in your tracks you stared at him, taking in the beauty of his body; the water droplets across his abs and the steam rising off his chest and shoulders, his damp hair and the sun beaming through the window highlighting your favourite parts of him.
Fred went into shock and gripped onto his towel harder, you flash him a small, nervous smile and place the Zonko’s bag on his bedside table.
“Y/N, what are you doing here?” he asked shyly as you walked over to him.
Placing your hands gently against Fred’s cheeks, you leaned in slowly and pressed your lips against his. Kissing back, Fred deepened the kiss and dragged his tongue against your lower lip, both of his hands took you by the waist, completely forgetting about his towel, it fell to the floor.
