Inside we've got my #livescribe notebook and pen, my #riteintherainnotebook with its pen and pencil, my sketchbook, two other little notebooks I've created recently (to be displayed in a later photo & video), and some pens and pencils. The whole in this post is clearly the fact that there is not a single book in here, nor is there water, and that's because.... I fake packed it. I was going to go out geocaching today but it was raining all night and it's muddy and still raining on and off, so. Not the ideal time to go. WHAT’S IN MY BACKPACK?

good question.. well probably just the same shit everyone keeps dragging around but I quite enjoy looking at videos or visuals of this topic so I decided to do it anyway.

For school I use the Padded Pak’r by Eastpak in dark grey with the brown leather on the bottom in the large size (i guess, it’s definitely not small). I find the leather on to bottom quite useful, especially in winter time when the floors get very dirty and wet through the weather, so my papers and stuff don’t get damaged by water. The backpack has one large compartment and a smaller one in the front.

I obviously keep the same folders, binders and notebooks like everybody else in my backpack, I also did a BTS supplies haul if you want more information on that. My planner/bullet journal also needs to be in my backpack at all times. Additional to that I have a kind of small pencil case I kept for about 5 years now. (A what’s in my pencil case, anyone?)

Moving on, I always keep this small pouch with me. Inside I put tampons, pads, a plastic bag, medication (e.g. pain killers for period cramps or headaches), plasters, lipbalm, hand sanitizer and little things like that. It came inhandy on various occasions and if not for myself then to help a friend out.

I also always bring something to drink to school and something to eat. Most times it’s fresh fruit and something like a sandwich. How much I bring depends on how many classes I have that day and if I get home early or rather late. We also have vending machines plus a kiosk in my school and a larger cafeteria with warm food in the school next to mine that the students from my school can use as well but often times there are also food sales in our break hall where they sell warm bits and pieces. Buying something everyday just adds up really quickly and in my opinion it’s too expensive if you can bring something equally yummy from home for cheaper.

Moving on to the small compartment in the front. The probably biggest object in there is my mint-green wallet. I’m debating wether I should switch for a smaller one but I’m not quite sure yet. But in there I keep my drivers license, my ID, my bus ticket and of course money. A tip I have, is to always have like a 10€/10$/whatever bill in your phone case. If your wallet gets stolen at least you have a little bit of emergency money.

In the smaller compartment I also put my phone if it’s not in the pocket of my jacket. We can not forget headphones, ladies and gents. These are very important for a free lesson or when I need to drive with the bus or when you e.g. have a task in the library and you need to listen to a video, so you don’t disturb the other students.

On sunny days I bring my sunglasses for obvious reasons. For math class I always bring my calculator as well. And the last thing in there are my keys. Of course if you know someones at home when you get home you won’t need them but I learned my lesson and always have them with me because on multiple occasions nobody was home, I didn’t have my keys and then I needed to wait like an hour outside.
