(please tell me if your flag is missing, I will gladly provide it)
Long story short: in my current dnd game, the players ended up charming the half devil leading the attack of the armies of hell on their town, deceiving him by convincing that he needed to go back to hell to deliver an important message. They also convinced him to take his pack of hellhounds with him, as he would need them to protect him. Confused, but determined, he vanished, taking all his dogs but one with him.
Instead of fighting the one remaining hellhound, they tried to befriend him...
Several successful animal handling checks later, the party managed to adopted the giant firebreathing hellhound...
They named him Mouse...
It was later communaly decided by the players that Mouse was non binary...
Since then, I can't get the image of Mouse holding a non-binary pride flag out of my head, so here it is:

TBH, Mouse is an icon for the whole lgbtq+ community, so here he is with a whole lot of other flags.
Remember, Mouse loves and supports you!

You saying that you can "fix" my asexuality by having sex with me, is just like me saying that I can fix your nose by punching it.
Seriously.
I'd really love to punch you in the face, but you probably like your nose as it is and realistically, punching it won't make it better, it will just hurt you a lot.

Round 3: Body
Tumblr media
The colors were changed slightly (a bit of blue in the inside of the wings and a more green back). Also I figured out how his anatomy is supposed to work, at least well enough for me to be able to draw him.
I'm still working on the armor.
I'm currently trying to design a dnd character, an aarakocra paladin somewhat inspired by a peacock.

Bonus round 2.5: Names
Originally the result of scrambling random letters, his first name was Ruck.
I love the sound, but I was unsure about the spelling. I contemplated going with Roch, which is pronounced the similarly but is actually a real name (Sanskrit I think) meaning something like "shining", "bright" or "radiant", which is perfect for a paladin with a love for flames and holy fire.
In the end I decided upon the spelling of Rook, however, since I seemed the best fit. In game it can still mean "radiant", or something like that.

Round 2: rough color scheme
Tumblr media
Top left is a pretty accurate peacock, top right the scheme for my character, below are just different things I've tried. It's more deviation than just with the face, but I had to simplyfy it at least a little, and more blue suits the character a bit better I think.

My favorite thing about celebrating Christmas without being religious, are all the weird Christmas traditions you encounter.
For example, my family always goes to the cinema, instead of the church. There we then wach a very non christmasy movie. This year, due to Rona, we obviously couldn't go to the cinema, but we still keept to the tradition in our own living room.
This year's Christmas movie was "Vemon".

This morning, at the breakfast table:
Mom(arachnophobic and shortsighted):
*squints at the wall*
"is that a spider on the wall?"
Me and dad:
*turn too look at the spider on the wall*
Almost simultaneously and aperently a bit too fast:
"that's a smudge."
Mom:
*sceptic*
"you're just saying that so I don't get upset, do you?"
Me and dad:
"...."

Question: would anyone be interested in me just posting some character concepts?
Like, class, race, specifics regarding the build, backstory and personality (ideas)?
I have 27 character concepts. 27 and counting.
I'm also part time DM. I'm a player in our main campaign, but DM in most one shots and in a second campaign...
One day I will have to come to the realization that I can never play them all, but until then I will continue making character sheets, writing down backstorys and designing them all.
I'm cursed to create, but never enjoy.

In case you thought I was joking, I just got my last Christmas present.
Now, what to do tomorrow?
I backed. I made 10 kilos of cookies.
Tumblr media
Last time I made 3 kg and dad said I should aim for 10 next time.
Like, I've lived with the for 19 years, they raised me. Don't they know that making 10 kilos of cookies, cause someone joked that I should do so, is exactly the type of shenanigans I'll definitely do?
Also that's all of the baking done, way more efficient, I'll only have to clean the kitchen once. Tomorrow I'll buy all the presents. Gonna be a December speedrunn.

Math is what kept me sane during the pandemic.
Before I was mediocre to okay in maths. Then the lockdown happened. 3 months and right afterwards we were supposed to write finals. I had an easy A in maths finals.
The regularly and dependability. For every type of problem there's a strategy how to solve it. Follow it step by step and you'll get the right result. It was the stability I needed in a time of uncertainty.
It's sad that I only discovered the beauty of math so late, but I'm glad I'm not the only one to feel like that.
Why does math make me so happy?
When it all falls into place and everything makes sense, it just fills me with joy. Gods, I love math…
