This is what I mean when I say that Sebastian might not be perfect but his stans make it 10 times worse. Instead of asking for an apology with us so ye can move on, you're trying to make to people who are calling him out to be the bad guys. If Seb stans weren't this toxic, I honeslty think that we could have moved past this. I don't even hate Sebastian Stan, but reactions like these scare me, because if you're behaving like this over a celebrity I assume you have never met. I can't imagine how you react when the Black people in your life talk to you about racism.

( So the post was a long time ago so it's already past, I'm not saying his fans should demand an apology now, but at the time it would have been helpful, even at the time when it came out, the stans were like this, putting their heads in the sand.)

Why are you acting like me saying his apology wasn't enough is a big deal when in fact, I'm being quite gracious. I could be all "he's a raging racist and he'll never change", and I should be allowed to say it but the way, but I'm not, that's not what I think, I'm saying that he owed a proper apology for his post and he didn't. The reason why I think his apology wasn't enough is because it was just him trying to find excuses: he's not from the US, he was ignorant, it was a stupid joke. Yep there's a difference between stan and fan: fans are the regular fans who like a celebrity or a character, they're able to listen and also acknowledge when their fave f*cks up, they're generally reasonable people. Stans are the irrational fans, who create drama, try to defend their faves no matter what, harass people, excuse racism, misogyny whenever their fave is involved and make fandoms a living hell. Choose your camp.
