Building Outstanding Teams: Leveraging Dysfunction and Conflict for Extraordinary Results
Tumblr media
In the realm of teamwork, harmony and cohesion often take center stage. However, there's a lesser-known truth: dysfunction and conflict, when handled adeptly, can catalyze exceptional team performance. It's a paradoxical notion, but one that high-performing teams understand and harness to their advantage. In this blog post, we delve into the dynamics of such teams, exploring how they leverage discord as a catalyst for innovation, growth, and ultimately, success.
Embracing Diversity of Thought
Outstanding teams recognize that diversity extends beyond surface-level differences. It encompasses varying perspectives, experiences, and approaches to problem-solving. Rather than shying away from conflicting viewpoints, they actively seek them out. These differences spark healthy debates, challenging the status quo and fostering a culture of innovation.
Constructive Conflict: Fuel for Innovation
Conflict, when approached constructively, serves as a crucible for creativity. High-performing teams don't fear disagreements; they view them as opportunities for growth. By encouraging open dialogue and respectful dissent, they unearth innovative solutions that may have otherwise remained hidden. Conflict becomes a means to refine ideas, test assumptions, and ultimately, drive progress.
Building Trust Through Vulnerability
Central to navigating conflict is a foundation of trust. High-performing teams cultivate trust through vulnerability, embracing authenticity and transparency in their interactions. When team members feel safe to express their opinions and vulnerabilities, they foster a culture of psychological safety where constructive conflict can thrive. Trust becomes the glue that binds the team together, enabling them to weather storms and emerge stronger.
Constructing a Conflict-Competent Culture
Crafting a culture that embraces conflict requires intentional effort. Leaders play a pivotal role in setting the tone, modeling vulnerability, and encouraging open communication. They establish norms for constructive conflict resolution, emphasizing active listening, empathy, and a focus on solutions rather than blame. By fostering an environment where conflict is viewed not as a hindrance, but as a catalyst for growth, leaders empower their teams to achieve extraordinary results.
Leveraging Dysfunction for Growth
In the pursuit of excellence, high-performing teams recognize that dysfunction is not a sign of failure, but an opportunity for growth. They embrace the messiness of collaboration, understanding that it's through grappling with challenges that they unearth their greatest potential. Rather than seeking perfection, they strive for continuous improvement, using conflict as a springboard for innovation and evolution.
Conclusion
In the journey towards building outstanding teams, embracing dysfunction and conflict is not merely a strategy—it's a mindset. By reframing discord as a catalyst for growth and innovation, high-performing teams harness the full spectrum of human experience to achieve extraordinary results. As leaders and team members alike, let us embrace the discomfort of conflict, knowing that on the other side lies the promise of greatness.

The 9th House and In-laws
The 9th House is associated with your in-laws. This house can describe your in-laws' personalities, some of the family dynamic, and your overall relationship with them. *Due to the 10th House's association with authority and parents' influence some may look at this House to reference in-laws as well.
Aries: Marrying into a highly competitive family, maybe a sports family, or maybe a military family. Passion, leadership, confidence, and self-focus may somehow be themes in the dynamics or personalities of in-laws. Aries is associated with separation and independence; this could indicate a more distant relationship to in-laws or even in a more literal sense with the in-laws being separated. Anger and arguments may be commonly caused by in-laws. In-laws could also be highly enthusiastic and encourage fun, assertion, risk, and being enterprising in your marriage or as a family unit.
Taurus: Marrying into a predictable, routine, unmoving or deeply rooted, maybe controlling family. In-laws may be dependable, huge foodies or materialistic, potentially may spoil their family, could be an artistic family, or a down-to-earth one. With Taurus's association with security this may mean they give their daughter/son in-law plenty of reassurance and stability OR they could see the new daughter/son as a threat as well. May be slow to form a relationship with. The in-laws will strive for peace and contentment in their family.
Gemini: Marrying into a family that highly values intellect and has high energy. Some in-laws could be flexible and others unstable. A highly communicative and social family. In-laws may be open-minded, easygoing, but potentially opinionated, may love debate or wild discussions, could seem detached as well. May judge their daughter/son in-law by their field of study, social standing, and how they hold themselves in conversations. Could have a lot to share and teach with their family. Some in-laws may be highly supportive and others two-faced, gossipers, and tricky.
Cancer: Marrying into a family that may have a great focus on family loyalty and tradition. In-laws could be very protective over their children and may not always be welcoming to spouses. Some could also be on the other end of the spectrum - highly understanding and kind to a son/daughter in-law. An in-law could be highly intuitive and frequently shares their wisdom. This family can have attachment issues. In-laws could be manipulative and possessive. This can also be a family one may easily be able to get close to, in-laws who embrace a spouse as one of their own. May be the type to show favoritism towards a daughter/son in-law.
Leo: Marrying into a proud family that focuses on honor, duty, and success. Can be warm, affectionate, and very generous in-laws. These in-laws may go out of their way to impress a spouse. But they can also be overbearing and arrogant behind their shinning gold. One in-law could stand out by playing the role of queen/king of the family. Can also be a lively, playful, and entertaining family. The married couple may feel as if they have to put on a performance when around the in-laws. Some may want to rebel. Some may fit in with the passionate and driven parent(s).
Virgo: Marrying into a hard-working, practical, intellectual, and potentially critical family. These in-laws may have high standards for their son/daughter in-law. May be very helpful and supportive in-laws who take on extra tasks, chores, and responsibilities for the couple. Could be rigid, potentially often complainers, and judgmental. These in-laws may try to contribute to the married couple's finances or health often in some way. May not be the best at sharing emotions and reassurance. In-laws appreciate a cooperative daughter/son in-law and may have a family dynamic that is all about striking a balance between teamwork, everyone contributing, and self-reliance.
Libra: Marrying into a family that has a very harmonious dynamic OR may seem like they do at first. There is pressure in the family one is marrying into to keep the peace. Maybe this family brushes issues under the rug, doesn't get too deep or passionate in their dynamics, or constantly pushes the importance of tact, manners, and grace. They could be kind, easygoing, and supportive in-laws but also potentially vain, shallow, and easily jealous. The individual with this placement may try hard to please their in-laws or the family they are marrying into. It is important for them to set healthy and realistic boundaries, and some may need to learn to stand up to their in-laws with their spouse. This can also indicate in-laws who have good judgment, admire their child's relationship, and help the couple with networking or even originally introduced the married couple to each other!
Scorpio: Marrying into an intense and passionate family. Potentially a highly competitive and combative family. This family may have many secrets, or many things might not be shared and discovered until long after the wedding and being part of the other family. Family loyalty may be important along with power and control dynamics. These in-laws could be overprotective, manipulative, and vindictive. But they could also be compassionate, motivating, intuitive, and filled with useful insight. Their protective nature could encompass their daughter/son in-law. But these in-laws may likely struggle with letting go of control and involvement. This placement can also indicate a deep, empowering, or transformative relationship with one's in-laws.
Sagittarius: Marrying into a gregarious, fun-loving, zealous, and active family. In-laws may give their adult child and their spouse a lot of space and freedom. Could also be unreliable, selfish, irresponsible, and dishonest in-laws. An in-law could also be boastful and dogmatic. They may not accept a son/daughter in-law unless they agree with their opinions or beliefs fully. In-laws could also be the type who refuse to acknowledge the marriage or relationship status, treating the son/daughter in-law always like a "stranger". Because Sagittarius is associated with luck, maybe a spouse has hit the jackpot and their in-laws could be very giving, open-minded, and friendly. In-laws may live far away or be part of a very different culture than the daughter/son in-law. Whether there is a good or bad relationship, the family dynamic is likely flexible, fast paced in some way, or maybe even exciting or wild.
Capricorn: Marrying into a strict, traditional, ambitious, practical, or potentially a well-known family. Reputation and work ethic may be important to the in-laws. These in-laws can also be reliable, patient, chill, and they watch out for their children, including the son/daughter in-law. These in-laws could be highly judgmental, negative, and rigid. Some may want to rebel against their in-laws or question their authority and judgment. Trust issues can be a big deal in the dynamic somehow. The in-laws could be workaholics or highly materialistic or even greedy and unexpectedly manipulative. Capricorn is associated with integrity, these in-laws may approach their married children with full trust and respect, at least at first. These in-laws could also help their son/daughter in-law with getting a job or career.
Aquarius: Marrying into an unconventional family or family dynamic. There are many ways the in-laws could be unique depending on your society. Maybe there are untraditional roles, large age differences, they could have a free-spirited lifestyle, are politicians, the list could go on. These in-laws could be separated, divorced, or not married at all. The in-laws could also be highly detached or estranged from the couple. These in-laws can also be conversationalist, highly value intellect, love a good debate, embrace quirks, and be open-minded or very friendly. There can also be a hypocritical, opinionated, or controlling nature. These in-laws could also be highly unpredictable and unreliable. In healthy and idealistic dynamics they can make a daughter/son in-law feel accepted, be a great teacher, and inspire the couple or individual.
Pisces: Marrying into a sensitive, emotional, maybe artistic, or maybe a touchy-feely family. This family and/or the in-laws may be easy to get along with at first, making a daughter/son in-law feel at home or at ease. But these in-laws can also be manipulative, elusive, and volatile. There can be an unstable and always changing feel to the family dynamics. An in-law or both parents may be highly intuitive and receptive to the married couple's relationship. A son/daughter in-law may conform to their in-laws beliefs and wishes or be highly sensitive to their wants OR the in-laws themselves may be quick to try to please or pacify a son/daughter in-law. Boundaries can easily be crossed in the dynamic. There can be a great opportunity for closeness, but this can come with plenty of pros and cons. Spiritual or religious beliefs may be a hot topic somehow. With Pisces strong association to healing, an in-law could become the mom this individual always wanted, or the daughter/son in-law could be the daughter/son the in-law always wanted. Or the individual may act as the family's therapist.

Masterlist Here, Part 1 Here
Word Count: 5,182 (Yeah, "drabble" I say)
@alphaash99 offered this snail a piece of lettuce cut into hearts and stars. I had no choice.
PLOT: Sanji is in a relationship with the ship’s chronicler. After Zoro was invited to take a front row seat at witnessing their intimacy within the kitchen as the crew docked to resupply, Sanji can’t get the thought of watching the swordsman please you the way he does.
Warnings: Smut, f!reader, voyeurism, mdni, p in v, oral f receiving, "good girl" gendered term used, consent, throuple chemistry, “Hime” - Princess.
Tag List: @sordidmusings @feral-artistry @gingernut1314 , @vespidphoenix @alphaash99 @i-am-vita @cinnbar-bun
For the following weeks, the three of you would find any excuse you could to join together away from the remaining members of the crew. If there was a need to resupply food at a nearby town, the chronicler, the chef and the booze-headed swordsman were required to go together. If the swordsman was in need of buying items used to sharpen and maintain his swords, Sanji would be in tow to get a new sharpening stone for his kitchen knives where you would be required to tally the amount of crew finances needed balancing within your logbook.
Those things did end up working quite well for the three of you, very useful to have the three of you managing yourselves in such an easy rapport. But these things only occurred after Zoro’s eyes met with yours as Sanji pleasured you in all ways he knew how. In an alleyway, in a cheap inn for the afternoon, on the beach away from other prying eyes, in a public booth at a tavern taking residence in a corner booth; all hands, tongues, lips and Sanji’s pretty cock.
Aboard the ship itself lies the problem. Barely being able for you and Sanji to make yourself scarce to enact your lewd fantasies in the arms of one another, let alone the other member of this unusual dynamic you found yourself within. Zoro and Sanji both had an intense rivalry, although, in this particular set of circumstances, found teamwork in chaperoning you throughout the halls to watch you come undone within the chef’s skilled hands.
Zoro adored watching the lights dance behind your half-hooded eyes, your lips parted and soft moans and mewls exitted your mouth in soft utterances of Sanji’s name. He could barely contain himself, white knuckles gripping the surfaces close to him to restrain his empathetic pleasure at witnessing your post coital bliss. As the warm flush arose after the final after waves of your orgasm crashed over you; he adored watching your eyes meet his with a sense of warm pride and accomplishment - only after you would shower your lover with the rightful praise he deserved.
Sanji also found himself feeling some foreign emotions. Having Zoro in the same room as him drove him to perform more skillfully, chase your highs with more precision, and worship your body with more showered adoration. His favorite part to witness was, however pleasurable the experience he encountered with you was, when you would meet Zoro’s eyes with a love-struck, fucked-out expression you used to favor for only his eyes. He couldn’t explain it, but it felt like you were gloating about his accomplishments in front of his shipwide rival; wearing it like a badge of honor as he splashed your needy walls with ribbons of his hot cum.
And he couldn’t help but wonder what it was like to be on the receiving end of such an expression. Would it bring you closer? Would it feel as blissful as it did while you were riding him? Would he, like Zoro, cum immediately with little to no stimulation.
He simply had to know.
However, a factor remained in play that he did not know quite how to address. You and Zoro had never truly allowed yourselves to touch romantically - a forehead touch, Zoro placing a kiss on your forehead as Sanji delivered on his promise of aftercare.
Zoro liked to watch, not to engage. And Sanji needed to change that.
You were sitting cross legged on the deck, basking under the rays forming beneath the rising morning sun. The waves swayed the ship as you tapped your pencil within the pages, your eyes darting out as you continued to take your watch shift and take note of any irregularities. You glanced back down onto the pages of your notebook, the silhouette of your beloved chef adorning the dotted pages with his shadow.
You looked up, eyes softening as he presented your coffee to you with an extended hand. Shooting you a playful wink, you reciprocated with your eyes searching his own with a wordless expression of gratitude and adoration. You took the mug from him and placed it beside you as you continued to look over your words within the pages.
Looking further down within the coarse pages, you flipped over the page and began to journal the timetable for the upcoming shore expedition; drawing a small swirl to indicate some time with your chef scheduled within its pages. Sanji plonked himself at your side, circling his arm around your shoulders and began placing a trail of kisses against your upper arm.
“Sanji,” you giggled, swatting at him with your notebook, “Sanji, I’m trying to work.” He hummed in response, trailing up to place several kisses against your shoulder and bringing his lips over to your neck.
“Sanji, someone will see,” you commented with surprise written over your face. You turned to him, folding your book in half while wedging the pencil within its pages. His eyes were dark, playfully twinkling in his blown pupils. He brushed the back of his fingertips gently over your jaw, ushering your chin into him and placing the beginning of a slow and deliberate kiss against your lips. Your lips curled into a smile, eyes wide in shock at his unrestrained expression of love and lust: your situationship not yet, you assume, common knowledge to the rest of the Straw-Hat crew - aside from the third member of this unusual dynamic.
The third member, who had just begun his slow ascension to join you above deck; his footfalls halting as he witnessed the slow and romantic kiss expressed between you. Although he had been invited to watch you two engage with each other prior to this: this felt more taboo to witness than any expression of lust. This was love, he was certain of it. He was about to turn and make a miserable descent below decks once more, halting only at the sound of his name pouring like molasses from the lips of the chef.
“Have you ever thought about fucking Zoro?” Sanji asked you between slow kisses, relishing in the small squeak rising in your lips, along with your full body halting its reciprocation of Sanji’s passion in rigid stupefaction.
“Sanji, what are you-,” you began, silenced by a deeper and sweeter kiss placed against your lips. His lips entangled effortlessly with yours, romancing your heart with its gentle, yet firm clasp. He moved his hand to the back of your neck, massaging the flesh beneath his splayed fingertips to lessen your burden from the prior night watch.
“Dove,” he began after removing his lips from yours. He met your eyes with a seriousness you had not seen within them for some time. You were entranced within his glance, hanging onto his every breath as he uttered the unspoken confession he so desperately wanted to share with you.
“Dove, I want to watch you fuck Zoro.”
Your eyes widened, your lips parting as a gasp fled from your lips. Watching the lustful look Sanji was throwing at you was as tantalizing as tasting an indulgent dessert Sanji had prepared just for you. He meant every word he spoke, nothing withheld in his desire to watch you come undone on Zoro’s cock.
Mind racing with a thousand unspoken thoughts; never once in the weeks this dynamic had begun had you ever pictured yourself with anyone other than Sanji. He was your man, and you his woman: although neither of you had ever spoken this aloud to one another. Without realizing it, you had begun subtly shaking your head at the notion, prompting Sanji to nod with a sly smile attached to his playful lips.
“Sanji, I don’t know what you want me to say,” you confessed, eyes spiraling in searching between his gray eyes and darting down to witness the end of the balled piercing attached to Sanji's oral frenulum as he danced it within his teeth.
“Say-...” he began, pressing his forehead against your own with his eyes crinkled in a playful smile, “...-Say: ‘I want to fuck Zoro while you watch, Sanji.’ That’s all I want to hear departing from your pretty lips.”
Zoro was held in stasis, unable to make a sound, movement or take a single breath as he overheard every word spoken between you and your lover. He waited in the shadows of the morning, holding firm in his position within the doorframe leading to the lower decks. Patiently, he held strong and firm against the wooden frame to hear what he never thought possible spring into the light from your lips.
“I want to fuck Zoro while you watch, Sanji.”
“That’s my girl,” Sanji praised you, pressing a chaste kiss atop the tip of your nose before reaching down and claiming your notebook within his skilled hands. You remained stunned in your expression, hands shaking after speaking aloud this confession.
Sanji furrowed his brows, his tongue flicking out to dampen his lower lip in concentration as he scribbled within its pages. He nodded once he had completed what he sought out to do within your chroniclers’ journal, closing the book and placing it within your outstretched hand.
“Your coffee is getting cold, Dove,” he uttered lovingly, pressing a chaste kiss against your hair before standing from his position beside you. You blinked rapidly, still processing exactly what was uttered between you. You had yet to even kiss Zoro, not realizing that was an element of the relationship permitted to be expressed between you. Should you kiss him first? Should you kiss him with Sanji? How was everything meant to go within this dynamic-?
“-Let’s see if it’s something he’s keen for first, hm? Maybe start with a kiss without me?” Sanji called over his shoulder as he made his way back to the kitchen, “Maybe you won’t even enjoy it that much. Stupid Marimo wouldn’t even know what to do with you, I think.”
You darted your startled eyes in front of you, wide in surprise: eyes meeting and reflected in the startled expression of the tri-sword wielding first mate. Meeting his eyes startled you more, your warm flush rising against your cheeks before you tore your eyes away from the two men. You shook your head as you heard Sanji’s feet descending away from you towards the kitchen, opening your journal to the page it was priorly set on. Next to the small schedule of a swirl for Sanji, a crude drawing of three sticks with thick ends lay directly beside the swirl.
Sanji had everything already planned in his mind: mapping out exactly when he wanted you and the swordsman to fuck in front of him. You dropped your notebook, your eyebrows higher than they ever had been with you attempting to bite back a broad grin at the prospect of such an encounter.
Heavy boots stepped onto the deck in front of you, a sound you had become accustomed to trailing behind you and Sanji as you crept into hidden places with one another. You sucked in a shaken breath, not truly anticipating what exactly was going to depart from the swordsman’s lips.
“You don’t have to if you don’t want you, ya’ know?” were the first words spoken from the green-haired knight in front of you, “I won’t force you or nothin’.” You shook the shock away from your face before looking up to the tall man in front of you.
“Good morning to you, Zoro,” you said, disregarding his words and plastering a wide smile in welcoming him to the day, “How did you sleep?” He huffed out a breath that sounded like a laugh and crouched in front of you.
“G’ Morning to you too,” his smirk rose to the corner of his lips, dancing his eyes between yours as you lazily held your grin against your lips. A warm hue of pink dusting found its way to lay against the speckled cheeks of the green-haired swordsman, him leaning lower in his crouch and placing a hand beside your head to stabilize himself in front of you.
“Can I kiss you?” His brow arched upwards as his words raised at the end of his question. You huffed out a light laugh in surprise, looking between his two hazelnut orbs as you nodded in answering the question. Zoro shook his head as he leant forwards, “No, Hime. You gotta say ‘yes’. Use your words.”
“Yes,” you breathily uttered, feeling the whisper of a caress almost crashing atop your lips.
“Good girl,” were the final words spoken before Zoro claimed your lips within his. His scratched and chapped lips danced atop yours with a brutal intensity; out of practice in an oscillation of the like for some time. He was a man starving, seeking out any affection you were willing to reciprocate with him. His brow furrowed in deep intensity as he fell to his knees in front of you, clasping his palms over your jaw as he began to deepen the kiss as if the spell of your reciprocation was to be broken away at any moment.
Another squeak of shock parted from your lips as he continued to press feverish kisses against your lips. Everything about this kiss was different than Sanji’s: your blond chef’s lips soft, slow and romantic. This swordsman was another beast entirely. His desperation at witnessing you within the thralls of passion with the chef had him more built up than he originally thought.
As he pulled away, a string of saliva connecting your lips to his danced between you as his lust-blown eyes met with yours once more.
“How long until the next port, chronicler?” he asked you, panting and breathless.
“Four hours, swordsman,” you responded in a similar likeness. The strand broke between you, Zoro moving his hand from your cheek to dance his thumb over your bottom lip to remove the small droplet departing from his lips onto your own. He chuckled, feeling your breath hitch at such a motion.
“Sorry, Hime,” he chuckled, a bashful smile warming his face with its presence, “it’s just been a while since I-... Well... It’s just been a while.” You smiled up at him, eyes warm with affection. You leant forward, pressing your forehead against his and shutting your eyes.
“Just four more hours, Zoro,” you whispered, breaking contact between you and picking up your coffee, which was now lukewarm, and taking a sip.
Unbeknownst to you, Sanji remained hidden in safety behind the door to the kitchen. Having witnessed the entire exchange, his face was completely hued with the tint of bright and vibrant red; a trickle of blood seeping from his nose down his chin, cradled by the back of his hand.
“If this is them kissing,” he whispered to himself with a broad grin dancing against his lips, “I don’t know if I’m going to make it through the whole act.”
-.-.-.-.-.
Four long and excruciating hours passed with incredible haste, especially with Zoro offering so valiantly to take the remainder of your watch shift for you to find rest in your bedroom. Your rapidly beating heart did calm down just enough for your body to relax into a dreamless slumber, waking at the gentle shake of Sanji’s hands brushing your shoulders.
“We’re here, Dove,” he whispered, pressing his lips against your forehead, “Are you ready to go, or do you want to give this expedition a miss?” You shot up in your bed, flinging the duvet from your body and swinging your legs off the edge of the bed to hook around Sanji’s hips. You pulled him against yourself, reaching up to circle your arms around his neck and wrangle him onto your bed with you beneath him.
He chuckled, allowing you to drag him down and onto yourself as you placed a series of peck-like kisses onto his shoulders and neck; seasoning the chef with speckled peppered caresses.
“Easy now, love,” Sanji chuckled, halting your kisses with the gentle brush of your hair away from your brow, “Keep that up, and you won’t get to have the swordsman.” Your face flushed at the notion, searching his eyes for any final semblance of doubt and finding only giddy anticipation and adoration in it’s place.
“Okay,” you confirmed, nodding while undoing the skilled weave of your body from around the chef’s, “Let’s go.”
It was as easy as any other time to convince them of the need to split the party: Nami, Usopp and Luffy in one party; you, Sanji and Zoro in the other. Nami was also convinced this was the best way for the split, noticing how relaxed and the ease of tension from the two usually conflicting members of the crew balancing with you as the key element propelling them.
Within the room of a tavern, booked and paid in full by Sanji using his own, personal, berry; your heart beat with anticipation as you were led by the hand of your lover with the green-haired swordsman trailing behind you as usual. What was not usual, was the way Sanji chaperoned you within the wall and practically threw Zoro at you as soon as the door closed.
If he could, he would’ve grabbed both you and Zoro by the back of the head and forced your lips to meet in a passionate entanglement; all the while shimmying down your pants, flinging off your top and watching your chest bounce their perfect breasts as soon as they were freed from their confines.
Instead, he calmly went and sat at the dining table within the room, opened his tobacco pouch and began rolling the dried leaves within the wafer-thin paper. He fished out a slim filter, placing it within the end of the fold and rolled the leaves within it, using his pierced tongue to seal the paper together, placing the filter between his lips and fished out his lighter.
Zoro and you remained stagnant in your movements, not entirely knowing where to start with this encounter but both feeling a rise of apprehensive anticipation. Sanji scoffed, flicking the flint of his lighter to ignite the flame and inhaling the nicotine-riddled smoke.
“Are you just going to stand there gawking at one another,” he uttered with his exhale, blowing the smoke away from your face, “Or do I need to tell you what to do, Marimo?” The tension rose, now anger depicted rather than sexual frustration.
“You shut your damn mouth, Shit-Cook,” Zoro growled in return, halting as you placed your hand against his forearm and pulling back his attention to you. His gaze fluttered between your eyes, dancing down to your mouth briefly before you leant upwards and pressed your lips against his. Slowly and deliberately, you guided his lips to move against your own as you reached up and began prying his jacket away from his shoulders.
He groaned against your lips, shimmying down the material to reveal his scarred chest to you. Unbreaking from the kiss, you danced your fingers over his chest, tracing the scars and scanning over his muscles as if they were written in raised braille: reading all of the emotion depicted within the pages of Zoro’s muscular torso. He placed his hands over your own, removing them from his chest to begin stripping you of your clothes, staring with your blouse; then immediately following with your bra.
Zoro wasted no time, continuing to place kiss after kiss against every piece of flesh he had access to as he removed each element of your clothing. As his lips attached themselves to your neck, he began fiddling with your belt and hoisted your pants below your hips and began to hastily rid you of them.
“Slowly,” Sanji’s voice called over, breaking you from your lustful trance as you sought out the eyes of your lover. His pupils were blown, eyes were glazed and the smallest hue of red had sprung already from his nose and dusted the floor with a few drops of blood.
Sanji was as worked up as you were; his eyes intense with a violent longing while experiencing empathetic bliss from witnessing something as simple as being undressed by another man - that man, his rival. Zoro grunted, looking up and seeking your face; witnessing your longing glance at your lover; truly feeling how it was to be sought out with such a glance. Immediately, he was mesmerized, now completely fixated on taking his time with you to watch your face contort with pleasure he could bring you.
Immediately, Zoro dropped to his knees; his torso perpendicular to your stomach and placing open-mouthed kisses against your belly and hips. Your breath hitched, your head thrown back, as he slowly dragged your pants from your thighs, over your knees, down to your ankles before prying them off completely. Your core was already throbbing with a shameful amount of glistening arousal at the thought of your lover watching you as you engaged with another - this other being the swordsman who had come to long for you from afar.
You were uncertain which aspect of this dynamic had your head spinning, knees quaking and core throbbing more: Zoro now performing these acts for the first time, Sanji watching you for the first time; or Zoro fucking you for the first time while Sanji watched. Without warning, Zoro curved his index and middle fingers of his right hand within your folds, collecting the glistening strings of arousal from within them and withdrawing them from you. He held them in front of him, his jaw dropping at the amount of arousal pouring from your body.
“I-Is she-...” Sanji’s voice stuttered, him leaning forward on the table to eagerly get a better view of the situation. Zoro chuckled, smirking up at you as you looked down at him.
“You already ready for me, Hime?” Zoro’s rumbled voice purred at you, the expression alone having more heat rise to your abdomen and release fresh waves of arousal to coat your thighs. Zoro raised again from his crouched position, hooked his arm behind your knees and hoisted you over his shoulder. Unceremoniously, he flung you against the mattress of the room; shuffling his pants below his hips and dropping them to the floor without a second warning.
He was bigger than Sanji. Of course he was bigger than Sanji. Although similar in height; Sanji was slender, gentle with a small waist and strong legs. Everything about the swordsman was hard and angry: his cock being no exception to this rule. Tufts of green hair splayed carelessly against the base of his shaft, a small happy trail leading down from his stomach to his cock: standing proudly to attention, and loyally waiting to receive its orders. You quickly looked over to see Sanji, who was hunched over the table now with his eyes eagerly fixated on yours.
Quickly training your eyes over his body, you saw a proud tent formed against the dark pants attached to the hips of your blond lover. You danced your focus between them, beckoning for Sanji to rise from the table and come over to the bed beside you both.
You reached up and danced your hands over Zoro’s hips, tracing your fingertips delicately over his throbbing cock; the shaft bobbing and twitching while his knob pulsed and shone with anticipation. The smallest bead of precum began leaking from the slit, both you and Zoro as equally pent up at the aspect of joining your bodies together. You thought back to the first time he had caught you and Sanji, your body caged beneath your blond chef as he thrust and ground his hips into yours.
Guiding the swordsman to kneel on the bed, you crawled backwards; your hair splaying out against the pillows beneath you as you continued to chaperone his large body over your own. Sanji continued to hold firm his eyes on your body, watching every small hitch of breath and elevation of hair follicle in response to a rumbled growl from the man above you. He had never seen something so beautiful in his life; no longer wondering why the swordsman was infatuated with watching you receive pleasure from a lover.
Sanji knelt beside the bed, watching as you grasped the shaft of the swordsman above you and slowly raked his tip between your folds, guiding your slickening arousal up and danced the tip over your swollen clit. Both Zoro and your breath hitched as you pumped your hand over his cock, keeping the pressure briefly against your clit as you both closed your eyes and furrowed your brows at the feeling.
You pulled back the shaft to expose more of his throbbing tip before raking it over your quivering hole and guiding it slowly within your entrance. The three of your voices moaned in unison, Zoro’s brows furrowing as he focussed on experiencing the feeling he had been witnessing you and Sanji involve yourself with over the weeks prior.
“Z-Zoro, you’re really big,” you whimpered, your walls taking a small moment to stretch to accommodate for his girth. Your brows furrowed as your jaw fell slack, wincing as you ushered more of him into you - his hips slowly descending onto your own from his position above you. Sanji remained beside you, keeping his eyes hyper focussed on yours as his cock twitched and grazed the material of his briefs beneath his pants.
“You can take it, Dove,” Sanji’s hushed whisper had your eyes snap to meet with his, blown with lust and gripping the sheets within his firm grasp. Zoro groaned as he felt your walls begin to relax around him, slowly impaling you with his entire length. You shuddered as the patch of green met against your clit, his cock twitching within your walls and throbbing with anticipation as you continued to adjust to his size.
You turned your face once more to meet with Zoro’s gazing up through half-hooded eyes and mewling as he began to slowly drag his cock outside of your walls, only to slide it agonizingly slow back within them again. He was huffing out puffs of staggered breaths, relishing in feeling fully sheathed within you.
“Oh F-Fuck,” Zoro’s voice stuttered as he dropped his face into your neck, “I didn’t know it’d-... hgnnh-... feel this good.” You whimpered against him, desperately grinding your hips up into him. His hand staggered down to claim your thighs beneath him, hooking your knees over his hips and beginning to rock a steady rhythm against your core.
You cried out as Zoro’s cock immediately began bullying the sensitive underside of your clit, hitting the spot within you that immediately had your walls clenching around his cock and crying his name in bliss.
“Zoro-... h-ah-...” you whimpered, the dance of your winding and rapidly approaching orgasm beginning to spiral and coil within the pit of your belly, “-How are you doing that-?” you choked between cries of bliss. Zoro continued to slap his hips steadily against your own, chasing his own pleasure while attempting to halt his hastened pace. He didn’t want to cum without you, but the feeling was so overwhelming - especially being so long without an encounter of the like.
“You feel-... ngmnf-... you feel so fucking good,” Zoro complimented you before his eyes began rolling as he focussed hard on not spilling his seed within you. You reached up, claiming fistfulls of his mossy hair between your fingers and wrapping your arms around his shoulders to hold him as close as you could. You felt the cool drag of his earrings against your cheek as he nuzzled his face further into your neck.
You began to feel the rapid, staggered motion of his hips; feeling the way his hips met your own with a rapid and bruising pace. Your walls immediately began their steady thump, your toes curling as your peak began to blind you with its intensity. The warm tingle of your soul dancing beneath your skin began to shoot sparks down your body, igniting the final rise of your orgasm before you gave out your final warning.
“Zoro-... I-... fuck-... I’m cumming,” you barely had time to verbalize your vocal cry before your walls sucked him inwards, holding his cock within your walls. Zoro immediately shot his hot load within you, reveling in the feeling of your staggered and unbridled movements as your back arched off the bed beneath him.
“Fuck me-... I-I’m cumming-... oh f-fuck-... I’m cumming in you,” he growled, chasing the final waves of his orgasm as he painted his load deep within your walls. He cried your name, praying before you and worshiping the afterwaves of your walls twitching around him as you both came down from your highs.
“Merde-... o-oh, oh sh-shit,” you heard a voice call beside you, watching as you both chased your highs and rode the waves of your mutual orgasms.
You smoothed your hands over Zoro’s hair, rubbing his shoulders and pressed a chaste kiss against his temple. He chuckled against your neck, pressing his lips against your skin - feeling a large and wolf-like grin rise against his cheeks as he did so.
You angled your head over, seeking out your cigarette smoking chef; eyes meeting with the most feral sight you had ever seen in your life.
Sanji was a mess. His nose trailing red from the amount of blood rising to swell his head, his knuckles gripping the sheets so hard the material stretched and frayed beneath his fingernails. His eyes held a foreign shock to them, his lips parted as his jaw fell slack. You quickly pushed Zoro’s body off of you, unsheathing him from your core so fast he almost cried out in sorrow from the relinquishment of such warmth surrounding his rapidly reducing cock.
“Sanji, honey are you okay?” You asked, your eyes flashing with concern as you grasped his cheeks within your palms, “Sweetheart, talk to me. Are you okay-?”
“-I just came,” Sanji managed to stutter out with an amazing rapidity. Shock knit over your face, looking to where his hands had remained firmly grasping the sheets. You cocked your head to the side, searching behind his eyes for further explanation.
“You just-,” you began, only to have Zoro interrupt your words with a loud and unrestrained chuckle.
“I know, right?” he managed to say once he stifled his laughter, looking over to the chef’s disheveled appearance, “Now you get why I like watching.”

Team Sonic Racing had character interviews in Nintendo Dreams which can be partially read here. Here are my takeaways from Silver's answers.
When asked what he likes about his car, Silver says that his car has high performance, as if it were designed with future technology and that there were similar cars in his time(has Silver driven a car before?) which makes him suspicious of Dodon Pa.
When asked what type of item (Wisp) he likes to use, Silver says that he "doesn't like that cowardly way of attacking people" (sounds familiar) but the Jade Ghost is the only one he likes because it lets him "disappear and concentrate on the race". Interesting.
When asked what his favorite course is, Silver says that he's impressed by the beauty of Planet Wisp and talks about how different tracks take his breath away but he's also sad to see the damage done by Eggman's invasion.
When asked which racers he considers his rivals, Silver says that it's a speed competition so Sonic and Shadow are the strongest opponents, they're on speed type cars so Silver thinks he can't beat them alone but he believes that if his team works together they can definitely win.
When asked what racers outside his team he'd like to team up with, Silver says they're all good racers with their own personalities so it's hard to pick but he'd go with Knuckles because he has "enthusiasm and energy to win" and that he's a "powerful guy". That's an interesting answer since Silver and Knuckles started the resistance together in Forces.
When asked what his favorite moment in racing is, Silver says that he's never raced before but seeing everyone giving their all for a single objective has made him come to appreciate the joy of racing and that the call for the final lap can make him feel his heart racing.
When asked about his enthusiasm for the race, Silver says that he's uneasy about the race being hosted by Dodon Pa but that and the race are two separate issues. When it comes to the race he says that his team can't lose and they'll definitely win with teamwork!

I think someone here missed the sight of a soaked Oscar <3
Tumblr media Tumblr media
ok so big shock!! I'm gonna use this sweet little morsel of Lando pausing in his remaining winter break to look back on that glorious day
to create an absolute smorgasbord of what Suzuka meant to him and to Oscar
I've edited together the most chewable parts of the post race press conference tho tbh it's mostly just removing the parts where Max tries his best to put a slight new twist on answering the exact same questions as last weekend lgflajsg.
so at the start I love the little private smile Lando and Oscar share when Max's fanfare is going on - it gives me a little rueful but also slightly creepy twinning vestal virgins au like are we going to destroy him Lando? yes we are going to destroy him Oscar
(I AM NOT BEING SERIOUS IT'S JUST JOKES).
which is even funnier with what Max leads into about seeing these two goddamn McLarens sandwiching him and for a split second thinking ah so they want to destroy me? oh dear. like Max is very at home on that couch but the presence of these two creatures sharing covert smiles with each other has him (and probably a lot of that room) uneasily wondering if that's all y'know, normal and above board? they're not like... witches, right? haha. crazy!
and I think the cool meticulous way Lando treats his own performance is a really good example of how (in my opinion!) his self-flagellation does need to be reeled in because he's never the sort to be soaring high enough to compensate for those lowest lows. for a while I was undecided but honestly I agree with Martin Brundle, Jenson Button and Oscar who've said (in different ways and indirectly from Oscar) that Lando is far too level-headed and race smart to be hanging his own tender hide out like he does. I so appreciate how measured he was in self-approval over his back to back podiums and no one's asking him to get cocky, but I'd really love to see him match this approach to when he struggles as a driver (and not just a car issue which was the case pre Silverstone).
contrast that with Oscar discussing his own self-criticisms of the weekend but equally saying he'll still relish the maiden podium. and crucially that he can fairly put at least part of his struggles - which he was also meticulous about - down to this being his first time racing at Suzuka. an anon sent an ask about Andrea praising Oscar specifically for his performance there and you can really feel the influence Andrea has had throughout the season on Oscar. because before Silverstone, Oscar had a tendency to monotone lowness and disappointment in himself that bordered dangerously on bitterness and maybe even a fear/doubt of how his rookie season would indeed turn out? but Andrea's approach of optimism, faith in teamwork and specifically in making sure Oscar was looked after while Lando naturally performed so much better, absolutely sank in.
and it makes sense that Oscar as a rookie has so much more mental plasticity when it comes to outside influence - and says a lot about Andrea's leadership too. it's where I wish Lando could have had Andrea as principal from day one too. bc understandably, Lando has graduated to that level of knowing himself so well as a driver relative the drivers around him that there's an existing almost prejudice about himself that the people in charge of guiding him have to overcome.
literally everyone who knows and who matters has said how similar Lando and Oscar are in terms of their approach to the car and their dedication to the team. and I know Andrea has shielded Lando in his own way by saying that it's a champion's mentality to have as much passion and emotion as Lando does. but - and this is honestly such a great piece about Andrea go read it and thank you again to @mecachrome for repping him so much - he also emphasized the positivity that was so crucial to pushing the team through those awful early races. I don't at all blame Lando for getting a bit grim toward himself at times thinking not only about that first race win but also the championship. but I also really hope that between Andrea and Oscar (source: Lando himself!) he can use the lifts of his highs to not sink so low anymore.
skipping back to around the minute mark when Lando says how much more this second place means to him than Singapore because of the double podium and also because of his own performance being better. not to get too ~contentious~ but this is why I really have needed the Singapore high to wear off as fast as it did for Lando when people are discussing Lando's 2023 as a driver and not as part of a ship. absolutely still revel in it in an rpf sense! but like, real life Lando is intensely loyal to his team and y'know what else? he's intensely loyal to loyalty. which is precisely what Oscar has been proving to McLaren since signing that pre-contract the summer before. it took an entire court case for Oscar to get to McLaren and he was met with a wall of hate coming from three sides. comment sections were filled with people celebrating McLaren's 2023 initial struggles and vilifying Oscar for how much he was costing them (in every sense) for paying out Daniel. and it was the Suzuka weekend when Oscar agreed immediately to extend his contract further.
Lando had a front row seat for all of that once the season started. and considering how few races Oscar's dad and Lily were able to make due to being on the other side of the world and final year of school respectively, Oscar spent a fair amount of that time getting to grips with being in F1, and the particular pressure and stress from media and fans, largely alone in terms of a private life. so it says so much about how well he was repaid by the team and also by Lando for keeping his cool and putting in the extra hours and keeping the faith.
and around 2 mins "we have two drivers up fighting for those positions" "we can help one another and use one another". that tandem the two of them have achieved before the season is even over was largely formed when the car was fighting against them. as was the case with Carlos and then Daniel and truly every other F1 driver, Lando did NOT have to intervene or take on a specific responsibility toward Oscar. F1 drivers aren't pack animals, they move through their careers alone and are happy if they can be buddies with their partner. so to see Lando as the number one show faith in Oscar and stand up for him and receive that trust and faith in return is so unique. Lando controlled that as much as Andrea did - maybe even more considering how he says he feels Oscar is so similar to him in a lot of ways. it's not uncommon for charismatic guys like Lando, Carlos and Daniel to make friends with their team mate.
but I think the whole "Lando effect" thing has actually been a huge disservice to what Lando has put into the partnership with Oscar. in this interview early on in the season, he says how Oscar is really quiet and that it's just how most people are in their first year and "we'll change him". but as we've seen, Oscar didn't end up changing and funnily enough the hanging out he and Lando do off the track has been as private and only alluded to as the rest of Oscar's private life. Lando got a lot of Oscar on his camera (again, a lot we haven't gotten to see yet) but really there was no big transformation in terms of Oscar becoming one of the charismatic personalities of the grid. and yet he and Lando only got closer and more supportive of each other in all the ways that matter to a partnership. so I think it's a much bigger credit to Lando that he learned to understand Oscar's personality better and still found ways to establish that sense of trust and loyalty without a bromance or a bunch of common interests to act as glue.
when they do that slightly eerie, intense active listening when the other is speaking, it's them having a synchronicity that has nothing to do with how guys usually bond. (that's why my vestal virgins au yes I know it's weird)
Lando wasn't in any position of power for any of that to be relevant with Carlos or Daniel - Carlos was so far advanced already in his career and Daniel had his thing going on w McLaren that Lando had no control over (and rightly didn't respond to people demanding he show some kind of shame?? or partake in the blame). so loyalty never really played a part in his partnerships with those two, whereas (and maybe as a result of that) Lando's loyalty to McLaren as a team only grew each season. so seeing someone close to his own age but far behind in experience, work so hard and prove so early on that he wants to stay, absolutely brought out a pride from Lando for Oscar that I really hope he will also extend to himself more. major Zak Brown levels of back pats to Lando.
and side note but it needs to no longer be a question or point of contention when Lando says that Silverstone and then the double podiums are superior races for him. Lando loves his F1 buddies, absolutely. but Lando didn't burn through junior championships by favoring his buddies. he loves racing and his team more. and he sure didn't get that second place podium in Singapore because of a buddy, it was because of the position he'd put himself in. just like how Carlos would have given DRS to anyone behind him who was on older tires like he was to ensure that win. like, let's remember the manic obsession that has brought these men to where they are. buddies are a part-time thing. rpf is my meat and drink but I'll never confuse it up with that reality lol.
4:45 the Senna-Prost comparison - and I could probably get all deep about the youngest generation referring to those old bitter alpha male rivalries as something long gone (but I won't). but it's a really good call-back to Monza and the coming together because there's Oscar's ability to see his performance clearly and where it went wrong for him leading to that third place and not higher. and god, I am in no way saying that it's possible to compare Lando being in his fifth season without a race win to a rookie celebrating his first podium. I just really hope that Lando reminds himself that he's come of age in F1 in the Max Verstappen era and that in the cool down room at Qatar, Oscar giddily thanked Mercedes for clearing a path for him. that it doesn't always have to be pure perfection and pace to keep him afloat. sometimes points are points and serendipity plays her part.
"I've been drowned by Lando in champagne" god I will never be over Lando's smug toothy smile
and I will also never be over the way Lando went from clearly dreading being the "older/experienced" teammate and not knowing what to make of Oscar's quiet, reserved personality, to the intense proprietary authority of practically holding Oscar up by his collar like a prize cat in Suzuka and saying "this is mine! I helped make this what it is! look how good this is!"
all while baptizing him in champagne <3

"Take a seat, Sergeant," Colonel König commands, his voice cutting through the silence. You comply, settling into the chair opposite his desk, your senses heightened.
"I've reviewed your file, Sergeant," Colonel König begins, his gaze piercing. "Impressive record in Task Force 141. But records only tell part of the story."
You nod, keeping your composure despite the unease gnawing at you. You can't help but wonder what he knows beyond the official documents.
"I value initiative and resourcefulness in my soldiers," Colonel König continues, his tone measured. "But I also value discipline and adherence to protocol."
His words send a chill down your spine, and you tense, unsure of where this conversation is leading. The mention of protocol brings back memories of past missions and the rigid rules of engagement.
"I expect nothing less than excellence from those under my command," Colonel König says, his eyes boring into yours. "You will need to prove yourself here, Sergeant. Your past accomplishments will mean nothing if you cannot adapt to the standards of KorTac."
You swallow hard, understanding the gravity of his words. The pressure to perform weighs heavily on you, knowing that failure is not an option.
"I understand, sir," you reply, your voice steady despite the turmoil within. "I'm ready to meet the challenge and uphold the standards of KorTac"
Colonel König nods, a hint of approval flickering in his eyes. "Good. We have high expectations for you, Sergeant. Dismissed."
With a crisp salute, you rise from your seat and exit Colonel König's office, the weight of his expectations heavy on your shoulders.
As you navigate the bustling corridors of the base, you steel yourself for the challenges ahead, determined to prove yourself in your new unit.
In the days that follow, you throw yourself into your work with renewed determination, eager to prove that you belong in KorTac. Despite the initial apprehension and the scrutiny you face as the only woman in the unit, you earn the respect of your teammates through hard work, dedication, and a willingness to adapt to the rigorous standards set by Colonel König.
As you immerse yourself in the missions and training exercises, the memories of Task Force 141 begin to fade, replaced by the camaraderie and sense of purpose found within KorTac.
Though the road ahead is fraught with challenges, you face them head-on, knowing that every obstacle overcome brings you one step closer to earning your place in the elite unit.
And as time passes, you find yourself growing stronger, both as a soldier and as a person. The lessons learned from your past experiences with Task Force 141 serve as a foundation upon which you build your future in KorTac, shaping you into the resilient and capable leader that Colonel König expects you to be.
Though the journey ahead is uncertain, you face it with courage and determination, knowing that with each new challenge overcome, you grow closer to becoming the soldier you were always meant to be.
Colonel König gathers the KorTac team in the training area, his presence commanding attention as he addresses the soldiers.
"Listen up, team. Today, we'll be running drills to assess our combat readiness and teamwork. I expect nothing less than excellence from each of you."
As the team moves through the various areas of the base, Horangi, one of the trustworthiest members, takes the opportunity to introduce you to the new environment. He points out the shooting area, the cafeteria, the training area, and the meeting area, giving you a brief overview of each.
In the training area, you stumble upon Colonel König sparring with a recruit, his punches swift and powerful, each blow landing with precision. You watch in awe as he effortlessly dominates his opponent, his mastery of combat on full display.
Colonel König's gaze falls on you, and he gestures for you to step forward.
"Sergeant, come here."
Your heart sinks as you realize what this means. Despite your higher rank, you can't shake the feeling of being underestimated and unworthy, constantly having to prove yourself just to be taken seriously. Sparring against a corporal who's rank is under yours feels offensive and as if you are being underestimated, purely for being a woman in military uniform. Nothing new, you think.
But you push aside your doubts and step forward, determined to prove yourself once again. As you face off against the corporal, you give it your all, every move calculated and precise.
As the corporal squared off against you in the training area, tension hung thick in the air. Your muscles tensed, ready for action, as you sized up your opponent. Despite the difference in rank, you knew this battle would be a test of your skills and determination.
The corporal wasted no time, launching into a flurry of strikes and kicks with impressive speed and agility. You deftly parried each blow, countering with your own calculated moves. Despite their relentless assault, you remained calm and focused, waiting for the perfect opportunity to strike.
With a sudden opening, you seized your chance, launching a swift kick that sent the recruit stumbling backward. Sensing weakness, you pressed your advantage, unleashing a barrage of strikes that left them struggling to defend themselves.
But just as victory seemed within your grasp, the recruit launched a surprise counterattack, catching you off guard. Their blows landed with surprising force, driving you back as you fought to regain your footing.
As the battle raged on, both you and the recruit pushed yourselves to the limit, each refusing to back down. Sweat dripped from your brow as you exchanged blow after blow, the intensity of the fight reaching its peak.
But in the end, it was your determination and skill that won out. With one final, decisive strike, you sent the corporal crashing to the ground, victorious.
Breathless and exhilarated, you stood over your fallen opponent, a sense of pride swelling in your chest.
You can feel the eyes of the team on you, a mix of surprise and respect in their gazes.
Colonel König nods in approval, his expression unreadable. "Well done, Sergeant. You've proven yourself capable."
But then, his demeanor shifts, and he turns to face you directly. "Now, it's my turn."
The training area was tense as Colonel König and you faced each other, both armed with training knives. Colonel König's masked face gave nothing away, his eyes hidden behind the makeshift covering. The atmosphere crackled with anticipation as he spoke, his voice low and commanding.
"A real battle without a knife would be like a dance without music," Colonel König remarked, his tone serious as he eyed you. "But we'll make do with what we have."
You were surprised by his choice of weapon but wasted no time in retrieving your own training knife. As you gripped the handle, Colonel König added with a hint of humor,
"If you can bring me down to my knees, you'll win."
His words caught you off guard, and a laugh escaped your lips despite the tension in the air. It was rare to see Colonel König inject humor into such a serious situation, and it momentarily eased the tension between you.
But as the fight began, the atmosphere quickly shifted back to one of intense focus. Each movement was calculated, each strike aimed with deadly precision as you clashed with Colonel König.
The sound of wood against wood echoed through the training area as you both fought with all your strength. Colonel König's attacks were relentless, his movements fluid and precise as he pressed his advantage.
But you refused to back down, matching him blow for blow as you fought to gain the upper hand. Sweat dripped from your brow as you pushed yourself to your limits, the adrenaline coursing through your veins.
As the battle raged on, you could feel the exhaustion setting in, your muscles burning with exertion. But you pushed through the pain, determined to prove yourself worthy of Colonel König's respect.
With a sudden burst of speed, you launched yourself forward, your training knife flashing in the dim light of the training area. You aimed for Colonel König's exposed side, hoping to catch him off guard.
But Colonel König was ready, his reflexes honed by years of training. With a swift movement, he dodged your attack, leaving you off balance and vulnerable.
In that moment, you knew that victory was within reach. With one final, desperate lunge, you aimed for Colonel König's legs, hoping to bring him down to his knees as he had challenged.
But Colonel König was faster, his movements fluid as he sidestepped your attack. With a quick counterattack, he disarmed you, leaving you defenseless before him.
As you stood before him, breathless and defeated, Colonel König removed his makeshift mask, revealing a hint of amusement in his eyes.
"Well fought, Sergeant," he said, a rare smile gracing his lips. "You may not have won this battle, but you've earned my respect."
And with those words, Colonel König turned and walked away, leaving you alone in the training area with a newfound sense of determination.
Though you may have lost the fight, you knew that you had proven yourself worthy of Colonel König's respect, a victory in its own right.

A Teachers´ Meeting
Nick was a boy who loved sports, well-built and an essential member of his high school football team. He was known for his athletic skills as well as his poor performance in other basic subjects like chemistry, mathematics, and others. However, he didn't care about this at all.
Mr. Collins was the gym teacher and the football team manager and coach. He was muscular, had a chiseled chin, and always wore tight clothes. He was aware of Nick's behavior, both in academics and on the field. Nick played aggressively against his opponents, even against his own teammates during practice. He followed one rule: "Go all out, no matter the opponent."
One day during practice, as always, Nick was on the offensive. While he had the ball, one of his teammates (from the opposing team) snatched it from him, causing Nick to explode in anger and kick his teammate in the legs. This was a violation of sportsmanship, and he was reluctantly removed from practice and scolded.
Nick was quite angry with the coach. He retorted, "It was his fault for being so weak and taking away the stupid ball."
Mr. Collins didn't like these words, so he told Nick to leave the field until he calmed down, and the conversation would continue the next day.
Later that day, there was a teacher's meeting where Nick's situation was discussed:
"He's very unruly."
"He doesn't even try to solve any equations."
"He's rude and very angry with all his classmates."
These were the kinds of comments heard about Nick. The coach agreed with the teachers' complaints. Before suggesting any punishment for Nick, the principal, Mr. Matthew, intervened.
Mr. Matthew: "We know that nothing we do works to help the boy. However, I think I have an idea... You see, next month is the intercollegiate football competition, where teams from different institutions participate every year. So, what if we suspend him from the team until the competitions are over?"
No teacher wanted to say anything at that moment. Perhaps it was a somewhat severe punishment, but Mr. Collins took the initiative and gave his full support to the principal. Then, all the teachers in the meeting gave their approval, and that's how it all began.
The next day, Nick was called to the principal's office, where Mr. Collins and Mr. Matthew awaited with the news.
Mr. Matthew: "I recently received complaints from several teachers about your grades."
Nick: "I admit I'm not a fan of letters and numbers, but that shouldn't concern you because, in the end, those grades only affect me. And if it bothers you so much, just change them."
Mr. Collins: "But we do care about your unsportsmanlike behavior."
Nick: "Coach, with all due respect, I think what I did showed who should be expelled from the team – the weak ones who can't withstand us only slow us down."
Mr. Collins: "And that's exactly what we're going to do, expel the weak ones."
Nick: "Finally understood..."
Mr. Matthew: "Your coach and I have reached a conclusion. I suppose you're aware of the upcoming intercollegiate football tournament. That's why we want to ensure our victory by temporarily suspending you from the team until the tournament is over."
Nick: "But what?! I'm one of the best players on the team!"
Mr. Collins: "Skill isn't everything in the game; teamwork is the most important, a concept you fail to understand."
Nick: "Bu- Bu- But-"
Mr. Matthew: "That's enough; go back to your classroom."
This was a total humiliation for Nick – being expelled during the best part of the school year, his chance to be a star snatched away by his own coach and the annoying principal. This wouldn't stand for Nick.
Nick returned home furious. He couldn't believe he was expelled. This required a prank, not just any prank, but one that would humiliate and ruin the careers of both. But what?
While thinking, Nick turned on the TV for inspiration and found it – a commercial for an extremely strong laxative powder. It was perfect for his revenge.
He went to the pharmacy and bought 10 packets of the laxative, which came with a warning: "effect in less than 30 minutes, do not take during busy hours, effects last 7 hours with effective and efficient intestinal cleansing."
Nick pondered if one small packet caused all that, imagine 5 of those in a person. Now Nick had to find a way to trick his victims into consuming the laxative.
The next day, one of his teammates told him that Mr. Collins had mentioned a meeting with directors and teachers from participating institutions to discuss essential matters for the competition. This was Nick's opportunity.
When no one was looking, he opened the teachers' lounge door. How? By secretly stealing the math teacher's keychain.
Inside, he saw the teachers' coffee maker, and when no one was looking, he made two large cups of coffee with lots of sugar to mask the taste of the laxative powder. In each cup, he used 5 laxative packets and placed a note with the respective names of his victims: "For Mr. Collins" and "For Mr. Matthew." The preparations were complete; now, he just had to wait.
Five minutes after Nick escaped the scene, Mr. Matthew and Mr. Collins entered the teachers' lounge:
Mr. Collins: "We have 10 minutes before the meeting; I think there's time for a cup of... Coffee?"
Both were surprised to see two hot cups of coffee with notes bearing their names. They wondered who could have done this.
Mr. Matthew: "I have no idea who might have made this gesture, but it would be rude not to thank them and enjoy a good coffee."
Mr. Collins: "I agree!"
They both took a big sip of the coffee, enjoying every second of the sweetness until, without realizing it, they drank it all.
"That cup of coffee was excellent," they thought, but they wouldn't anticipate what would happen next.
Both went to the bathroom to wash their hands and freshen up for the meeting. While Mr. Collins was combing his hair, a strange sensation began in his stomach – a kind of pressure in his intestines.
Mr. Matthew: "Is everything okay, colleague?"
Mr. Collins: "No, nothing, better wait for me outside."
Mr. Matthew: "Why?"
Mr. Collins: "Well... so we save time by not leaving one by one through the door."
Mr. Matthew: "Mmmmm... alright, I guess."
Finally, the principal came out of the bathroom and waited for his colleague. It was a lousy excuse, but the pressure was intense. Mr. Collins held his stomach tightly and released a putrid gas: *PPPPPPPPPPFFFFFFFFTTTTTT*
"Oh, crap," said Mr. Collins, hoping it wouldn't happen again.
Meanwhile, Mr. Matthew was outside lost in his thoughts when a pain in his stomach stopped him, and without thinking, he let out a violent fart: *PPPFFFFFFTTTTT* *PPPFFFTTTTTTTTT* *PFFTTTT*
"Oh no! I think I had too much coffee, hahaha." Another discomfort interrupted his laughter, making him clutch his stomach tightly. "I shouldn't have had coffee; it always gives me gas, and then... oh no... well, I guess there'll be time for everything once the meeting is over."
At that moment, Mr. Colins came out of the bathroom, noticing the smell in the air. Embarrassed that it was his, he simply waited, hoping Mr. Matthew hadn't noticed the smell.
Both were visibly uncomfortable, not knowing what was happening to them. In the blink of an eye, they were in the meeting with 20 other directors and teachers from other institutions.
This year, the responsibility for organizing the competition fell into the hands of Mr. Matthew and Mr. Colins (which is why the meeting was held at their institution).
For both of them, the meeting was the same every year: which rules to follow, which institutions would lend their fields, how much money needs to be collected, etc. The meetings were more for formality than anything else.
Mr. Matthew had the responsibility of leading the meeting, and with the growing pain in his stomach, he tried to make it more enjoyable and faster, but it didn't work.
Meanwhile, Mr. Colins was sitting when another discomfort hit him: *BRBRBRBRBRBR*; that sound was his stomach asking for relief, and he complied. He didn't release gas from his anal tract, but rather, through his throat.
His burp was stealthy enough not to alert anyone, so he continued: *BURP*. With each one, his mouth became more acidic, not enough to keep his stomach at bay.
Meanwhile, Mr. Matthew continued talking until a peculiar sound stopped him: *BRBRBRBRBRRB*. It was loud enough to be heard by everyone present, and Mr. Matthew pretended that nothing happened and continued talking:
Mr. Matthew: "The fee must be *BRBRBR* fair for all *BRBR* institutions."
Mr. Matthew knew he wouldn't be able to keep his stomach at peace for much longer, so he applied an old trick: *COUGH* *COUGH* *PPFFFFTT* *COUGH*.
The fart was brief enough not to be heard by anyone in the meeting, while the fart was even more pungent than the one from the door. However, he was far enough from the others so that it wouldn't be smelled.
Sweat was soaking him; slowly, his condition was worsening: *BBRRRRRRR*; he couldn't believe this was happening now. Having a diarrhea attack because of a disgusting coffee. In his thoughts, he said to himself: "I'll find out who did it and fire them!"
The situation wasn't different for Mr. Colins. He felt a great rush of air and liquid hitting his rectal walls, waiting for a moment to escape. He couldn't hold on anymore and thought: "My stomach hurts a lot; that coffee was definitely not a good idea."
*BRRRRRRRRRRRRR*
"Please, please, I need to hold on... more!"
*BRBRRRRRR* *BRRRRRRRR*
"I can't hold this anymore..."
*PPPPFFFFFTTT*
Everyone in that moment fell silent, noticing the unmistakable sound of trapped gas escaping. The smell was the classic coffee scent with a more sour and disgusting tone. Everyone instinctively looked at each other to see who did it, while the teachers sitting near Mr. Colins knew perfectly well who it was and had front-row seats for the terrible smell emanating from him.
"Oh shit, they surely know who it was... ohhhhh no, not again..."
*BRRRRRRRRRRRRRBRRRRBRBRBRBR*
"Please, please, please..."
*PPPPPFFFFFFFTTTTTTT* *PFFFFFTTTTT* *PPPPPPPPFFFFFFFTT*
*BRRRRRRRR*
His colleagues made a disgusted face, confirming their suspicions, and were disgusted by the new addition to the smell, a more penetrating odor, only caused by one thing: diarrhea.
Mr. Colins had a red face from embarrassment and a terrible pain in his stomach. He noticed something warm in his sweaty tight white underwear, caressing his crotch, finally, his body couldn't hold back, and he made the decision to release the pressure by giving way to some of the accumulated diarrhea.
"I think... I'm... CRAPPING!"
At that moment, he remembered the previous meetings, and one of the rules was "only one member is allowed to be absent at a time." He stood up from his seat, and with all eyes on him, even Mr. Matthew's, he said, "I need to step out for a moment... I left something in the car, I'll be right back." He walked towards the door, and when he left, he closed it forcefully and ran as fast as possible.
There were small laughs in the room; others had a disgusted and disapproving face, causing Mr. Matthew's stomach to stress again: *BRBRBBRRBRBRRR*. Taking advantage of his colleague's escape, he said, "I must go with him to see what's happening," but a thick and authoritative voice stopped him: "He'll be fine; you must continue with all of this." The voice was that of the Superintendent, who visibly was angry with everything that happened, and continued, "Besides, you must be aware that only one participant's absence is allowed at a time."
Mr. Matthew couldn't do anything but obey his superior, as he was responsible for financing all the present institutions and the main donor for the intercollegiate games.
He continued presenting the meeting points, but slowly his mind was clouding due to the incredible pain and pressure in his stomach. He could endure more than his colleague, Mr. Colins, because he usually drank coffee, and his stomach always expelled everything with diarrhea, but in a couple of hours, enough to get home. But this time was different; it had only been 20 minutes since they had the coffee, and Mr. Matthew was about to soil his pants without the possibility of Mr. Colins returning.
All he could do was wait and endure long enough while continuing to release pressure with gases that became more noticeable, both in noise and smell.
Mr. Matthew: "The next point will be the score topic; we will use the official system, and... *BBRRRRR* oh no... *BRRRRRRRR*"
*PFFFTTTT*
Mr. Matthew's mind: "I can't continue with this... *PPFFFFTTT* no, no, calm down, everything will be fine... come on, Colins, hurry up."
While all this was happening, Mr. Colins ran through the halls.
"Shit, shit, shit!"
*PFFFFFFFTTTTTTTT* *PPPPPFFFFFFFFFFTTTTTT*
"Get out of my way!"
His anus was pouring out the hot brown liquid he had been trying to avoid for the last 20 minutes. His underwear became heavier with each step, and from a distance, a large bump could be seen in his pants.
His diarrhea showed no mercy: *BRRRRRR* *PPPPFFFFFTTTT* *PSPSPSPPSPSPSPS* *BRRRRRRRRRR*. He was completely embarrassed, passing through several school corridors emitting a terrible stench. The coffee aroma could no longer be distinguished from the gases; rather, it seemed like a mixture of the meals the teacher had in the past few days: eggs, bacon, beer, chicken, Chinese sauce, juice, etc. A combination that supported the reason why the director could endure a little longer.
He reached the teachers' bathroom, but there was a problem: "The keys... I left them in my car! Aaaaaggghhhhhh *PPPPPFFFFFFFTTTTT* *PPPFFFFTTTTT*, shit, no time."
Desperate, he turned and ran towards the student bathroom. Each step meant taking the risk of ruining not only his underwear but also his pants and his teacher reputation.
*PPFFFFTT* *PPFFFFFTTT*
*PSPSPSPSPPSPSPSPSPSPSPSPS*
*PPPFFFFTTT* *BRBRBRRB*
"I need to get there!"
With a kick, he opened the door to the male bathroom. One of Mr. Colins's team members was inside: "Hello, coach! Didn't you have a meeting?" Mr. Colins didn't care and shouted at him, "Move and get out of here!" Scared, the boy ran out. The teacher forcefully closed the main door and blocked it with a mop nearby. He opened the stall door with force, desperately lowered his tight pants, and finally dropped his heavy underwear full of a large pile of smelly brown paste.
He sat his large, stained buttocks on the cold porcelain and closed his eyes...
*PPPPPPPFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFTTTTTTTTT*
*SQQLSKSKSDJSDSJJSSKSJSKSSIS* *PPPFFFTTT* *QSSGQHSSHQHSHQHSHQHSSSHHHHHH* *PFFFFFFFTTTTTTT* *PFFFFFFTTTT*
*BRBBRBRBRBRBRBR*
"Oh shit. Finally... Woohoo, hahaha!"
*BBBRRRRRRRBBBRRRRRRR*
"Oh, so you're coming for more, huh?"
*PFFTT* *BBBBRBRRRRRRBBBBRRRRRRR*
"And... it looks like... *BRRRRRR*... you're teaming up with the beer..."
*PFPFPFPFPPFPFTTTTTTTT* *SQHSQHHSSHQHSHQSHSQHQSH*
PPPPFFFFFTTTTTTFTFTFTF* *BRRRRRR* *SQHQSHHQHSS* *BRRRRRR*
*PLOP* *PLOP* *PFFFFFTTTTTTTT* *SQQQQQSSSHHHHHHHHHH* *BRRRRRBRRRR*
*Groans*
"I think I'm done... *BBRRRRR*... No, this is not going to end soon... *SQSQQSSQHHHH*."
Suddenly, the phone started ringing. It was Mr. Matthew:
Mr. Matthew: "Hey, how much longer are you going to take to come back?"
Mr. Colins: "Well... uh... I still haven't found what I lost in the car..."
Mr. Matthew: "How much more time do you need?"
Mr. Colins: "Give me about 5 minutes... *BRRRRRBRRBRBR*, oh better make it 10 more minutes... *PPPFFFFFTTTTTT* *QSQHSHQSHQHSHQSHQ*, better make it 30!"
Mr. Matthew: "What was that?"
Mr. Colins: "Nothing!"
Mr. Matthew: "I need you now, and... *PPPFFFFFFFTTTT*"
Mr. Colins: "What was that?"
Mr. Matthew: "Nothing!"
Mr. Matthew hung up the call at that moment and saw the superintendent's serious face. He was angry about the disaster that was the meeting presentation. But how could anyone concentrate while struggling not to have a leakage and soil their pants like a little child?
The Superintendent asked, "What's happening, Mr. Matthew? Whom were you calling?"
Mr. Matthew replied, "Sorry for the interruption, but my colleague needs help... *BBBRRRRRBBBRRRRRR* urgently..."
Superintendent: "So, do you plan to leave us sitting here waiting for him?"
Mr. Matthew: "Of course *BRBRBRBRBR* not..."
Superintendent: "Something is bothering you, isn't it?"
Mr. Matthew: "Of course not... *PPPPFFFFTTTT* oh..."
Superintendent: "Of course, it is. I order you to stop whatever is happening and proceed with this."
Mr. Matthew: "Bu- bu- but..."
Superintendent: "It's an order."
Mr. Matthew: "I..."
The room fell completely silent in the face of the boss's anger, watching the discomfort and sweat of their colleague who was in total suffering. They were surprised to see that Mr. Matthew obeyed the superintendent's words in a literal, desperate, and disgusting way...
*PFFFFFFFFFTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT*
*QSQSHQSHSQHSHQHSQHSHSHQHSHQHS*
Superintendent: "BUT WHAT?"
Mr. Matthew: "OH YES, OH YES NGAAAAAGGGGHHH"
*PFFFFFTFTTTTTTT PPPPFFFFFTFFTTFTFTFTFTF*
*PSPSPSPSPSPSPSPSPS* *BRRRRRRRRRRRBRRRRRRR*
*PFFFFFFTTTTTTTTTT*
Everyone in the room was stunned; they couldn't believe it. Mr. Matthew, with a satisfied face, said, "I'm just obeying you, sir..." then he lowered his ruined pants, revealing a mixture of brown soup with several solid parts, including his naked balls and buttocks. He then took the trash can and continued with his work:
*PPPPFFTFFFTFTTTTT* *QSHQSHSHQHSQHSHQHSHQ* *BRRRR* *PFFFFFFTTTTTGTTTTTT* *SPLASH* *PLOP* *PLOP* *PLOP* *PPFFFFTFTTFTFT*
The angry superintendent left the room along with all the other teachers, and in Mr. Matthew's mind, he said, "Well, it seems we won't be the organizers anymore..."
*PPPFFFFFFFFTTTTTTT* *PSPSPSPSPSPSPSPPSPSPS*
"OHHHHHHHHHHHHH"
20 minutes had passed; Mr. Colins entered the meeting room, and what he found surprised him: he saw his boss defecating in a trash can while on his right were the ruined and soiled pants.
Mr. Colins, in a sarcastic tone, said, "The coffee?"
Mr. Matthew: "The coffee."

Part 3 of what the heck is happening with Mobius anyway?
S2e4- the one where everyone dies and Sylvie hates key lime pie
A very very busy episode with not much time for character work (and a lot of characters to work on too!). We have to rely heavily on what others say about Mobius and body language for this one.
Mobius & teamwork
Previously we have seen Mobius excel at the case work side of his job and we see a little of this here when he works out Victor Timely is in danger at the chocolate machine. But what’s more noticeable this episode is that part of Mobius that enables others to do their jobs - the person in the team keeping it glued together. Examples: calming Victor down at the start, encouraging OB & Casey, even just all the jokes and banter. This is the sort of person that keeps a team together when morale is low. The sort of person that notices if one of the team is troubled by something and tries to fix it - small point noticing Timely wants to go for cocoa and sorting it out. Ever worked in a high pressure environment and you’ll know these sorts of people are what keep the place going. A positive sign for me is that Mobius still kept up his positive attitude even after Sylvie’s rant. On the other hand there is no one keeping an eye on Mobius in the same way he keeps an eye on the team.
Mobius & Sylvie
Ok so this was uncomfortable viewing (not as bad as some of the horror scene ofc!) If you only watch it once it might not be so obvious but once Sylvie starts her rant Mobius is completely silent. (As ever with shout-y and accusatory people what they say probably tells you more about themselves than the person they are targeting it follows that it would be easier to use this little performance to tell us more about Sylvie than Mobius). So everything we get here re Mobius has to come from his body language - very on brand again.
(1) Mobius wasn’t expecting to be attacked. In fact (as above) suggesting they go for a treat break is exactly how he operates and raises morale in the tva team. This is usually well received and understood so at first he just looks slightly stunned & puzzled.
(2) Mobius feelings about “his past life” are very private. When Sylvie talks about the timeline he goes very still and looks down. We know he is sensitive about this because of s2e2 - and we (& Loki) know why but Sylvie doesn’t. So here Mobius looks away to hide.
(3) Mobius does care about the timeline deaths - and isn’t hiding from that. When Sylvie accuses him of not caring about the timeline he meets her gaze again and shakes his head. We (& Loki) know he does care about this as we saw this at the close of S2e2.
(4) Mobius hoped Loki would support him but isn’t surprised when he doesn’t. Sylvie then storms off and Mobius exchanges that first shocked baffled look with Loki. This is followed by Loki walking past him with one glance and not saying anything. Mobius looks down then up to the light and sighs almost with a roll of his eyes - like that hurt but I should have expected it. Later when Loki and Sylvie appear at he scene of D90’s pruning he greets them both with a pretty dark look.
Dox & Mobius
The most ominous piece of mirroring is Dox & Mobius. Dox is a TVA general “true believer” who has just (really this episode) had the realisation everything they did was wrong (speech to Renslayer - now I see the bigger picture etc). We know from s1.e1&2 that Mobius was a true believer too (the jet ski magazine - it reminds me what we are fighting for etc). Mobius says nothing in Sylvie rant scene - and it ends with Mobius sigh, eyes to heaven and head roll with X5s voice over (to Dox) “are you going to say anything?” It cuts to Dox who makes exactly the same eyes cast up then down and head roll body language mirroring Mobius. Dox also does not reply. Dox eventually choses to let Renslayer kill her and her team as she sees no future for them - either in the timeline or the TVA.
Loki comments on Mobius
I’ve said elsewhere (re S2e2) that Loki handles Mobius well - when he’s paying attention - but I’d say here his attention is not on Mobius but Sylvie- and he handled exit from the Sylvie rant badly. It also seems to indicate an expectation that Mobius will understand and roll with it. Nonetheless Loki does lead into his conversation with Sylvie by raising Mobius. Loki is careful what he says here and I think it is a sign that he knows that Mobius would not want him sharing any private information. What he says is interesting “he’s just trying to see in the dark like the rest of us.”
Because Mobius makes light of the situation very few people realise he is in a dark place but Loki recognises this. On a hopeful note (the rest of the conversation is about hope) Loki also reuses the “broken things” line from s1e2. Renslayer tells Mobius he has a “soft spot for broken things” and Loki says “Trying to fix what’s broken is hard”. So we know that (1) Mobius MO is to fix broken things - (2) something that is hard to do. A hopeful note follows then - Mobius is practiced in doing this hard thing and maybe Loki is right to assume Mobius can roll with the punches.
Future
Themes that need to be paid off
- Making a hard choice & hope
- Order & chaos
- Partnerships & trust
It’s possible that the ending of Ep 4 which wiped out everyone means that this is the lowest ebb for these characters and we won’t see Mobius plunge into the level of despair that Dox displayed in this episode. I think that would be a bit of a cop out, but we’ll see. I still think there will be some angst ahead, but the themes seem to be pointing to an ultimately hopeful outcome (or maybe I have just been watching too much Lord of the Rings lately).
Given trailer footage (spoilers ahead if you’ve not seen them) I think:
(1) Loki will deliberately timeslip backwards before he gets hit by the radiation blast. He’ll then use the time loop theme to try to change the outcome. It will take a number of iterations and moving further back in time each time to start again. (There are clips in trailers of timeslipping we have not seen yet)
(2) It will involve him re-recruiting the team and a “we’ve got to get the band back together” - Blues Brothers style ending awaits (hooray). But this will involve some people having to give up good lives to join the team - and Loki will have to use all his powers, charm & mischief to get them back. (We have clips of Casey & B15 on the timeline we have not seen).
(3) Mobius will give up his good life (a pre-tva Mobius jet ski salesman) on the timeline to join the team. (We have clip of Loki timeslipping in front of jet ski store not yet seen). I’ve said before I don’t see a post TVA Mobius being content in this role (doing some jobs change you too much for a quiet life) but I could see him doing this before he ever became an agent - so I’m hoping that’s how this works. And we get a conscious decision to do the “hard thing” and join the team. (Foreshadowed by the “I’d like to thank the guy who bought me here … got me this pie” s2e2).
(4) There is still a risk that this may lead to Mobius death. However, given they killed everyone (except perhaps Loki & Sylvie) in this episode we may be spared further trauma and could get a happy ending for most of the team. I don’t think the explosion was a fake out so unless Loki changes something in the past they all are dead and will remain so and that gives us a better chance for more to survive in the end.

Wayv dissection of birth-chart (Big 5 placements)
Tumblr media
Note: Wayv’s group synastry is very compatible or balanced in a way, which also makes sense why their teamwork is great and their bond as a family.
Kun: January 1st 1996
Tumblr media
Capricorn sun • Taurus moon • Capricorn mercury • Aquarius venus • Capricorn mars
With a capricorn stellium in his big 6, he rlly embodies the discipline and maturity of that energy, him being the leader and also caring for the members like a dad. He is strict yet knows when to have fun or let the members fool around, as his taurus moon paired with his capricorn sun makes him more chill yet draws the line at certain things. The way he conveys himself and leads is evident in his capricorn mercury, as he is responsible and practical. The members trust and rely on Kun for his reliability and sense of responsibility.
Ten: February 27th 1996
Tumblr media
Pisces sun • Gemini moon • Aquarius mercury • Aries venus • Pisces mars
Chaotic energy and creativity 100x in his big 6 lol. He has a lot of ideas and creative vision that he can unleash thru projects such as his solo songs, his dance, and on top of that he can draw and etc. He’s also witty, sassy, and can make a killer comeback line, which Ten having all the star quality to capture the public’s attention. He does well on variety shows with tidbits and tea on other members which helps with the comedic timing of things. His placements also make sense for his free-spirited nature, how he follows his heart and has so many creative ideas to go with. He goes with how he feels on how to artistically convey the songs, appeal to the audience, and that makes him a great artist in the idol industry. A strong breeze thru kpop industry is wut Ten is.
Winwin: October 28th 1997
Tumblr media
Scorpio sun • Virgo moon • Scorpio mercury • Sagittarius venus • Sagittarius mars
Quiet yet hardworking and sharp, Winwin is adored for how hard he works for what he is passionate for (eg. Acting, performing in nct). Also pretty witty and sarcastic with his wayv members and nct. He wants to show his mature and cool sides a lot but also he is seen as endearing and adorable on the way he practices and tries earnestly. Sagittarius venus and mars individuals are naturally athletic and have a knack for dancing and learning the key points of dance moves, it can explain why winwin is rlly good at dancing and grooving, plus predebut he was in a dance school in china I believe. His sag mars makes sense for why he delves into multiple hobbies or interests, this can be expressed thru his career or as a side-skill he would develop. Its probably why hes interested in acting career too. With his scorpio sun and virgo moon perfectionistic yet passionate nature, he’s able to express his artistic and musical expression and perfect it naturally.
Xiaojun: August 8th 1999
Tumblr media
Leo sun • Cancer moon • Cancer mercury • Virgo venus • Scorpio mars
Sensitive yet thoughtful, he is usually the one receiving pranks and jokes from the other members yet he has a high eq (emotional intelligence) and the members usually joke with him becuz he’s quite expressive and they like seeing his reactions. He’s understanding and thinks about things genuinely which is why he can get worked up sometimes but in a endearing way to fans. He cares for his members and is very pure in the sense he does his best with passion and love, performing and singing - he’s good at expressing or getting into emotions (leo sun and cancer moon) which is why he also acted in a c-drama. Since he’s good at expressions and etc, when he’s performing his stage presence and key moves are very eye-catching.
Hendery: September 28th 1999
Tumblr media
Libra sun • Taurus moon • Libra mercury • Leo venus • Sagittarius mars
His big 6 screams chaotic energy and expressiveness. He has a lot of fun or ideas in him which he can bring to light on stage and thru other creative endeavors. With his taurus moon paired with his libra sun, he may be grounded depending on his environment as seen between interactions with wayv vs. other nct units. He was more shy or quiet when with the other nct units during make a wish promotions and etc since that was the first the wayv members were introduced to the nct units comebacks. He is understanding and conscious of how to interact and once navigating the waters he’ll adapt and show himself more. His comedic timing is gold with libra mercury + leo venus + sag mars, so making other people laugh and being dramatic is his love language in a way. He is witty, knows when and wut to say, overall the spot of entertainment. He goes with the flow at times and hits up with a comedic line or dialogue that matches up with the situation or mood.
Yangyang: October 10th 2000
Tumblr media
Libra sun • Pisces moon • Scorpio mercury • Scorpio venus • Virgo mars
All rounder prankster maknae is wut his big 6 screams. Yangyang being a libra sun with water energy of scorpio and a pisces moon makes him very creative and passionate. His pisces moon makes him sensitive to others reactions or aware of it, he’s understanding and receptive of others reactions and dynamics. His scorpio mercury paired with his pisces moon makes him playful and loves to joke with his loved ones, whether thats thru witty lines or roasting them. His scorpio mercury paired with his sun and moon placement makes him inquisitive and one to get to the bottom of things if he wanted to, which can contrast his duality of being playful and all but then he can be very “sharp” when focused on something. His venus and mars placement would further refute his work ethic with his attention to detail and organized approach paired with passion and drive to complete something when he wants to, whether thats thru solo projects, dance performances, etc. Yangyang puts his all, passion, thru wa lot of things, which is why he can rap, dance, and sing — and works to hone his skills which is why he’s well rounded in most of the skills an idol needs.

And since I've been very excited after polishing a few bits of the game, and also in light of some questions I've gotten, here are some brief ramblings about the stats. It's just how the High Performance MC is the star of the company, and then the High Teamwork MC is the darling amongst the coworkers, and the High Ethics MC faces all this exciting tension in the relationships with the cast 😩

Disclaimer: This is all generalised and biased because of my opinion towards certain astrological star signs.
3 Great Astrological Placements (IMO)
Water Venuses
When I see someone with a Water Venus in a natal chart, I automatically go 'awww' with joy because these water signs are the most loyal, committed and SENSUAL in the bedroom.
PIsces will love you through their words, Cancer will love you through their actions and Scorpio will love you with their presence.
Gemini or Virgo Mercury
Gemini and Virgo Mercury are both ruled by Mercury so you have the highest potential to be great communicators and whilst your communication style is blunt (sometimes too blunt)....I respect how straightforward you are.
Gemini Mercuries have great inter-personal skills in the workforce whereas Virgo Mercuries have great inter-personal skills in their friends/support group.
Fire Mars
Having a Fire Mars is a great astrological opinion because Fire is the perfect element to help with maintaining your ambition, motivation and endurance in life.
Aries will show their Mars energy through leadership, Leo will show their Mars energy through performance, Sagittarius Mars will show their talent through teamwork and high-pressure situations.

Broken Hero: Kunigami's journey in the Neo Egoist League
Overanalysing one edgy orange
0. Background and references
This weekend, I read an excellent analysis on Kunigami on Reddit (it spawns things other than fraud allegations and thirst posts sometimes)... and I was not OK as a result.
I'd been building up to writing an analysis of Kunigami's character for some time, and when the hyperfocus kicked in, it kicked in hard.
Come with me to explore how Kunigami's character arc and journey may pan out within the Neo Egoist League. Manga spoilers throughout, including up to the latest chapters (226 at time of writing).
I'd highly recommend reading StarBurstero's analysis (and their other work!) as this piece heavily draws on the points they raise.
All manga panels are sourced from the official translations, due to the possibility of nuance and foreshadowing that may not arise in scanlations.
Like this? Want to reference these points in your own analysis, on Reddit, YouTube, wherever? Go ahead! A shout out to this post is appreciated. (Straight up plagiarism isn't.)
Pre-Wildcard Kunigami: a wannabe hero
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Kunigami has his grumpier moments in the first selection (see: him yeeting Bachira, or breaking up fights), but all in all he's a stand up guy. That's clear from his interaction with Isagi in the cafeteria, where they both share his goal-point steak.
Another character defining moment for him takes place after Team Z's victory against Team V. Kunigami doesn't support Kuon's actions, but he is willing to forgive him now that all has been settled. Raichi is decidedly less forgiving. But Kunigami lingers, and helps a bloodied Kuon to his feet. The choice of dialogue is interesting.
Tumblr media
We'll advance together. We know this won't be the case. Both Kuon and Kunigami fail in the second selection, and Kunigami is the sole participant that leaves Wild Card.
But nevertheless, this exchange showcases Kunigami's core attitude. He sees the best in people. He values teamwork and unity, even if he shows egotism in relation to his own goals. He's someone that helps others.
2. What canon information do we have on Wild Card?
Tumblr media
...just crumbs. Information on Wild Card has been intentionally vague, with only Ego, Kunigami, and possibly Noa knowing what happened.
Ego simply calls it a secondary route for the losers, and doesn't specify whether there were any entry requirements. The pile of bodies and the attention given to hands suggests two things.
Firstly, contrary to my own assumptions, Wild Card was likely open to all participants eliminated during the second selection. Ego threw the losers a bone, despite having a very specific outcome in mind. The vast majority wouldn't have had a hope of meeting the criteria.
Is that cruel? Maybe. But it's consistent with Ego's attitude towards "lumps of talent". He admitted both Chigiri and Isagi into Blue Lock despite their lacklustre performances in high school, on the basis that the programme might bring forth their sealed egos. He was proven correct.
Tumblr media
The focus on hands, other than being creepy, hints at ambidexterity being a key deciding factor in the Wild Card programme. Kunigami confirms this above, in a panel from chapter 213.
Tumblr media
Kunigami himself refers to Wild Card as a survival battle, where participants had to match Noa's physical specs number for number. He implicitly confirms that he himself got the closest to Noel Noa's physical abilities, thus winning Wild Card.
3. Kunigami's mindset
We're all Isagi in the bottom corner of that last panel, wanting to know more. But Kunigami has yet to elaborate.
In the Reddit post I linked, StarBurstero theorises what's going through Kunigami's angsty little head: becoming the best striker. Not a midfielder, not a false nine - a striker, and only that. The author proposes that, having had to crush and eliminate everyone in Wild Card, Kunigami has limited empathy for those such as Isagi and Kurona, who are remoulding themselves into other roles to fit into Bastard Munchen.
This tallies with how Noa sees himself, in explaining the distinction between him (the world's best striker), and Snuffy (the world's best player) in chapter 223.
Tumblr media
As a player Isagi is closer to Snuffy, in terms of his ability and willingness to adapt, than he is to Noa. Isagi is willing to do whatever it takes to participate in the Neo Egoist League, even if this means providing assists or playing in midfield. But he still maintains his dream of playing as a striker.
Tumblr media
As different as Kunigami and Isagi are on the surface, they share a dream. Both want to be the best strikers in the world. In that, they're a lot more similar than the fandom give them credit for.
Tumblr media
But the conditions of the Neo-Egoist League pose a stumbling block.
There are limited forward positions, not only in Bastard Munchen, but on the national team itself. To nab a starting position for the U20 World Cup, the characters have only two choices: outshine everyone else playing as a forward, or forsake their dream by assuming a different position. They must choose wisely.
4. Resolve versus adaptability: the Bastard Munchen test
Thematically, Isagi and Kunigami are reflections of one another. They are each others "what ifs?" in a sense.
Heroes in the first selection, both Isagi and Kunigami faced elimination in the 2v2 stage of the second selection; Isagi survived, while Kunigami lost. Isagi emerged as the hero of Blue Lock, following the U20 Japan match. At the same time, Kunigami battled to become the "hero" of Wild Card.
Eventually Kunigami joined Bastard Munchen, alongside Isagi. But they're not co-operative teammates as they were before. They're rivals, battling against one another for the role of striker on this team.
Theirs is a quiet competition, secondary to Isagi and Kaiser's more hostile conflict. But I believe there's thematic significance to their rivalry. For this reason, it's interesting to trace their dynamic over time.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Isagi considered himself outclassed by Kunigami in the first selection. Back then, Kunigami didn't the same "goal sense" that Isagi had. He wasn't particularly technical as a player. He relied on passes and his physicality to get the ball and score goals, using his strength to reliably score from a distance. He's still extremely impressive, in Isagi's eyes.
As Isagi sees it, Kunigami's key attribute is his resolve. He trains hard to maintain his physique. He has a clear vision of who he is, and what kind of footballer he wants to be. At the same point in the story, Isagi lacks this. Even at the start of the Neo-Egoist League, Isagi struggles to articulate what his ideal form is as a player, which Noa calls him out on.
Tumblr media
It's understandable that Isagi struggles to formulate what his ideal is, because Isagi's genius lies in his adaptability. Throughout the manga, Isagi has been placed into situations that are chaotic, novel and difficult. His approach to football and his abilities have been challenged in every match, and he's been forced to rebuild himself over and over again.
This is what makes Isagi exceptional, in addition to his incredible eyesight and football sense. He's constantly evolving, constantly coming up with ways to beat his competition. No wonder he can't settle on an ideal, when he's been forced to change constantly. All he's certain of is his desire to play as a striker.
5. Chasing strikers: Isagi's journey
Isagi's problem is that he's never been the best striker in Blue Lock. It's his dream to play as one, but purely in terms of his ability to convert opportunities into goals, Isagi is outclassed by a number of players. Rin. Nagi. Shidou. Arguably Barou.
When these players receive the ball near the goal, their ability to put it through the goalposts is simply better than Isagi's. They have the physique, the strength, or the technical skill to outmanoeuvre whatever obstacles are in the way. This is also true of Kaiser: both have metavision, but Kaiser is far better at scoring, as Isagi himself admits. Kaiser is another prodigy, like Nagi or Sae.
Tumblr media
Kunigami is also better at securing goals than Isagi is. However, he's not a prodigy, and he lacks Isagi's insane playmaking ability. Nor does he have Ness, Kurona or Yukimiya on his side. Nobody on the team has a reason to support Kunigami or his goal-scoring competence. Least of all, Isagi: his rival for the position of striker in Bastard Munchen, and his antithesis in a sense.
While Isagi assisted Kunigami in the Barcha match, he does so to stay relevant, after Noa threatens to bench them both.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
In the Manshine match, Kunigami poaches Isagi's goal attempt. As furious as Isagi is in this moment, it's not obvious that Isagi's shot would have gone in by itself. He targeted the corner of the goal, but the trajectory appears to veer up and left, beyond the goal.
Kaiser alludes to the shot's inaccuracy, and Isagi acknowledges his shortcomings after the match ends. While his eyesight is his "god given gift", he realises that he lacks the physical ability to make his foresight a reality, per this conversation with Hiori.
Tumblr media
Who else does he approach?
Tumblr media
While he has the wrong idea (seeking Kunigami's advice on becoming ambidextrous), Isagi's dialogue is on the nose.
Kunigami has what Isagi lacks: the physique and ability needed to consistently score goals. Halfway through the Neo-Egoist League, Isagi realises that to secure a position as a forward, he needs to emulate Kunigami in some way. His hard training pays off: his ranking jumps six points between the Manshine and Ubers matches.
Kunigami is a mirror that Isagi looks into and learns from. And like a morphing reflection, their positions are starting to reverse. While Kunigami performed better initially in the Neo-Egoist League, both in training and in the Barcha match, now Isagi is coming to the fore as the strongest Blue Lock player in Bastard Munchen. His performance in Manshine was incredible. His playmaking in the Ubers match so far surpasses it.
If they are intended to be mirrors, then what can Kunigami learn from his reflection: Isagi?
6. Inert hero: Kunigami's arc
Analysing Isagi is straightforward. We have access to his thoughts and development, all the way through Blue Lock. The same can't be said for Kunigami, whose POV was shown rarely during the first and second selection, but not once since his return in Chapter 155.
There's still conclusions we can draw, despite leaning into extrapolation territory.
Kunigami has always trained hard. The Volume 3 omake (Team Z's schedule) alludes to the guy spending every hour he can in the gym.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
While Kunigami entered Blue Lock at a higher level than arguably anyone in Team Z, he stagnated as his teammates rapidly developed. He doesn't have a documented awakening, unlike the other Egoist Four characters. The single moment of progression shown was his first goal against Team V, but this was more Kunigami challenging his limits than truly evolving.
My theory is that this goes back to his key attribute: resolve. His formula of working hard and playing consistently has worked so far. Why change?
Other characters like Isagi experienced failures and setbacks prior to and during Blue Lock, but we don't see Kunigami experience anything similar until the second selection.
Tumblr media
It's unfortunate that he only experiences a first setback in losing to Team White. Had a moment of failure taken place earlier, the second selection may have played out differently for Kunigami. As it was, this segment of Blue Lock was not forgiving of mistakes. Only players who could adapt and evolve, devour and be devoured, made it to the third selection.
Kunigami just didn't have that adaptability. It's contrary to his nature of working hard, consistently and fairly.
Shidou remarks on Kunigami's resolute nature explicitly after their 2v2 match. It's why he chooses Reo over Kunigami.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Analysis often focuses on Shidou's criticism of Kunigami's heroic idealism, given that Kunigami goes on to reject this himself. But the second point Shidou makes is more important. He's really critiquing Kunigami's inability to adapt and react, not his strength or his motivation. But Kunigami seemingly only internalises the first part.
Failure in the second selection made Kunigami discard heroism as his motivation, in addition to the conditioning forced on him in Wild Card. But Kunigami continues to struggle, even after leaving his so-called naivety in hell.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
He came out of Wild Card stronger, faster, and more competent at scoring. It's still not enough to out-do Kaiser and impress Noa in the Barcha match.
If Kunigami took Shidou's words to heart, he might consider his success in Wild Card proof that he can break himself down and be rebuilt. At a minimum, we can speculate that Wild Card consisted of the participants being deconstructed piece by piece, egos eroded and replaced with a drive to become Noel Noa's "vessel".
But in truth, Kunigami already had a lot of the traits needed to become Noa's copycat. Other than developing ambidexterity and packing on even more muscle, the "breaking down" that took place was really the overwriting of his idealism with that of Noa's.
Tumblr media
When Ego considers the ways participants may succeed in the Neo-Egoist League, both Isagi and Kunigami are pictured. At the present stage in the manga, Isagi seems to be the fish adapting to his environment and thriving - slowly dyeing the fabric of Bastard Munchen to suit his playstyle.
Kunigami is the one suffocating, unable to breath in this claustrophobic environment.
His core issue - his lack of adaptability - persists. He is unwilling to consider being anything else than a pure striker. In the Neo-Egoist League to date, he has failed to make chemical reactions with anyone.
If Isagi is a universal catalyst, Kunigami is inert. For now.
7. Hero rebuilt: Kunigami, secondary protagonist
Kunigami is an important part of the Neo-Egoist League arc. Not only is he a returning character, but a significant parallel to Isagi. It's no coincidence that they are presented together in many of the panels relating to the arc as a whole.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
There's a lot of symbolism in Blue Lock. The panel announcing the Neo-Egoist League establishes Isagi and Kunigami as dual protagonists, with Kaiser as the primary antagonist. The end of the Barcha match really reinforces the idea that these characters are the main heroes within Bastard Munchen.
Isagi has been on a learning journey from the beginning of this arc, starting with his underdog struggle against Kaiser. If Kunigami's journey is a mirror of Isagi's, then we can expect him to encounter his most difficult hurdle later in the arc, leading to an epiphany about his playstyle. At this point, it's fair to conclude this will happen in Bastard Munchen's match against Paris X Gen.
These are my outstanding questions about Kunigami's journey, which I believe the manga must eventually address:
What will be Kunigami's darkest hour: the low point where he realises he must change or die (metaphorically)?
When he overcomes this moment and emerges stronger, like a phoenix - what will Kunigami's true ego be? Will he return to his original heroism, or strike a balance between his past and present selves? Hero and Wild Card, accepting both?
I'm not going to delve much into Question 2. Hero, Wild Card, Dark Horse, Phoenix - all of these could work as a manifestation of Kunigami's ego. The only thing I can say with confidence is that his ego will manifest. This has been the case for each of the other Egoist Four characters (although Isagi's true ego remains in flux). Personally, I'd like to see an ego manifestation that reconciles the personas of pre- and post-Wild Card Kunigami. I trust the writer and mangaka will serve on that front when the time comes.
On question 1, the fandom (and myself) are hyped for a particular reunion. It's hard to imagine a better catalyst for Kunigami's change than the person that sent him to Wild Card in the first place: a literal demon, the manifestation of Kunigami's internal woes.
Tumblr media
Shidou is the opposite of Kunigami in many ways, when they encounter each other in the second selection. Although both are strong with imposing physical abilities, Shidou is chaotic while Kunigami is lawful; Shidou abhors dull players, the ones that cannot spark "explosions", while Kunigami sees Shidou as a violent psychopath. Shidou has no qualms in crushing weaker players. Kunigami defends them, regardless of their nature.
But Kunigami has changed greatly since their last encounter. He and Shidou have more in common than before. In Wild Card, Kunigami had to learn how to crush the weak, despite his inclination to advance together. He's had to become more aloof, more violent even, to survive in Wild Card and in the Neo Egoist League. He's more resolute in becoming the world's best striker than ever.
But Kunigami still doesn't know how to explode. He doesn't have chemical reactions with other players. The part of him that valued teamwork died in Wild Card. Compare this to Shidou, who thrives off what he calls explosions. He adores Sae, because their chemistry on the field made Shidou soar. Sae unleashes Shidou's inner dragon.
I believe in facing Shidou, who will form reactions with his supportive teammates, Kunigami will come to realise that he cannot overcome his demons without assistance from outside. He'll realise his heroism was never the issue: it was his lack of adaptability. To overcome Shidou, Kunigami will need a catalyst to create a chemical reaction.
Luckily, Bastard Munchen has the one person capable of reacting with anyone: the embodiment of adaptability. Who better to set the true Kunigami free than his idealogical mirror? The one person who, thematically, has been by his side since the start?
Tumblr media
A link-up between Isagi and Kunigami - dual protagonists, reflections of one another - would be an amazing way to round off both Isagi and Kunigami's journeys in the Neo Egoist League. Even better if the final goal against Paris X Gen is the result of their genuine teamwork - mirroring their resentful co-operation during the Barcha match.
I'm manifesting this and I hope you might too. If for no other reason because... can you imagine the look on Kaiser's face if this happens?
Absolute gold.

If you read to the end, thank you! I'd love to hear my fellow nerds thoughts on this and Kunigami generally.
