i just got caught in the rain. and i do mean caught -- this is the kind of sudden onslaught, heavens opened, you'd stay drier if you fell face-first into a bath kind of rain.

there is something so freeing about the kind of downpour that is so relentless, there is no sense in trying to avoid it, the kind of rain you tip your head back into and laugh at.

It was so heavy, so intense, that the pockets of my raincoat filled up with tiny puddles. I got home and poured a stream of water out of my boots. I had to wring out my socks like a washcloth.

I'm talking bone-drenched; you stand there with rivulets of water running down your fingertips; the kind of rain that makes you taste your own moisturiser because its dissolving on your face; the kind where you have to empty out the contents of your bag and leave them out to dry off.

Guys. I jumped in so many fucking puddles today

(This is when it was still dry enough to take my phone out beneath an awning. It got heavier hehe. I had soooo much fun)
