"Oh, come on Eds!" Richie pleaded. "NO, Richie! I'm not playing Street Fighter with you!" Eddie argued. The two boys had been bickering about what to do for the past hour at the clubhouse, the rest of the group getting restless.

"Well, what do you suppose we do Eddie?" Mike spoke up. Richie and Eddie turned to Mike, eyeing the boy. "I think we should all stay here and just hang out!" Eddie exclaimed. "Wow. Eddie wants to stay somewhere so dirty? Surprising." Stan joked, causing Beverly and Bill to giggle.

"Oh shut up, Stan! I've grown a liking to this death trap." Eddie admitted, turning back to Richie. "Fine. But if we stay here, I want the hammock." Richie agreed. "No. No deal. You're always in that stupid hammock!" Eddie began to argue with Richie again, causing the group to groan.

"I swear they fight like an old married couple," Beverly said, causing the two boys to stop arguing and turn to her. "The fuck did you just say?" Richie asked. Beverly snickered and repeated her statement.

Eddie walked toward Beverly and started lecturing her the way a mother does to her troubled child. Richie couldn't help but feel happy at the comment. He didn't understand why, but it made him smile. Perhaps he just found it funny, or amusing, how Beverly viewing the constantly arguing boys?

"I can't believe you convinced me to play Street Fighter with you," Eddie complained. "It was either this or cuddling with me in the hammock," Richie commented and began to make mocking kissing sounds. "Beep beep Richie." Eddie groaned.

Richie turned his focus back to the game. Eddie was surprisingly good at it, though he had never touched the game before. The game finished, and Richie won. "Wanna make a bet?" Richie asked, his tone smug and confident. Eddie turned to Richie and raised an eyebrow.

"You're just asking that cause you think you're gonna win," Eddie commented. Richie smirked. "Well, deal or not?" Richie asked again. Eddie pondered for a minute before smiling. "What's the deal?" Eddie asked. "Free ice cre-" Eddie interrupted Richie, "deal."

And with that settled, the boys started a new game. They had played a few times before, so Eddie slowly got better. Richie was, of course, winning so far. "Come on, Eds! Show me your full potential." Richie teased. "Don't call me Eds," Eddie muttered before crushing Richie's character, winning the game.

Richie's mouth fell open, as Eddie laughed. "Your face!" Eddie snorted. "Let's go get your ice cream I guess..." Richie grumbled. Eddie let a sly smirk form on his face. Both boys walked out of the arcade and headed towards the ice cream parlor.

"Cheer up, Richie! You still got some ice cream." Eddie tried to cheer up Richie. Richie had always been a sore loser, meaning he didn't handle losing well. "Put a sock in it, Eddie," Richie mumbled angrily. Eddie rolled his eyes and got back to his ice cream.

"R-R-Richie! Ed-Eddie!" Richie and Eddie looked behind them to see their friends waving towards them. Richie groaned as Eddie waved to them. "Jeez Tozier, panties in a bunch?" Beverly leered with a light laugh.

"Fuck you ginger snap." Richie huffed. Beverly cackled, clutching her stomach. "Shit, Rich! You're getting creative with these insults." Beverly teased as she leaned on Ben, her boyfriend, for support.

Richie shot her an annoyed look and turned to Eddie, who was almost done with his ice cream. Richie grinned as he brought his hand up to Eddie, pushing his ice cream into his face. The group laughed as Eddie gasped.

"What the fuck Richie??" Eddie snapped. He grabbed onto Richie's wrist and removed the ice cream from his face. He looked Richie in the eyes and harshly let go of Richie's wrist. "Damn Eds, it was a joke..." Richie muttered. "Ha-ha Richie," Eddie grumbled and walked off.

Oh my god I just thought of Eddie using his inhaler and Richie coming up and putting his hand out and going, “Puff, Puff, pass, bitch. You know the rules” and taking 3 puffs to prove he’s not a pussy in front of Eddie and then having anxiety for 2 hours bc he thinks he’s having a heart attack meanwhile Eddie is just sitting in the corner like

He’s done it twice bc they forgot their memories but this one brings back the old one for Eddie and just Eddie comes up saying, “We’ve been through this before, asshole” and snatches the inhaler from him and puts it in his pocket.

Meanwhile this is all Richie can think of while trying to get his heart rate back down to a normal pace.

In those 27 years nothing has changed.

you have just moved to a new town called derry or something like that. you didn’t pay attention to any word your parents were saying due to the sound of all your loud thoughts in your head. you were an over thinker, so this new announcement really pushed your limits.

you were no where near being ready for a town let alone moving to one. mentally and physically. you were not packed and you were not ready to say goodbye to your group of friends.

“promise to write us everyday y/n.” your closest friend, y/f/n, said before giving you the biggest bear hug. “i promise”. you let out a low chuckle.

“y/n let’s go.” your older sister, topanga, said before getting inside your families brand new car of the year.

as you got in and the car started to move forward, you waved goodbye to all of your friends and gave them one last smile. “this town is going to be a fresh start, especially of what is happening here. too much bad people will be a horrible influence to our daughters.” your father and mother began to rant on why this town will help us, but you were not paying attention. you were too deep into your thoughts.

but that was over two hours ago. you were only a few miles away from derry. you were a nervous wreck. will people like me? what if I get bullied at my new school. what if kids think im a weirdo?!

you were in the beginning of the summer so you didn’t have to worry about school, yet. “we’re here!”

you finally began to enter the beaten up town no different than the one you lived in before. you looked out the window to see people eating ice cream and girl wearing low crop tops in order to survive the endless heat of june. your eyes landed on a group of kids, there was about 7 of them. 6 boys and 1 redhead girl.

2 of them caught your eyes. they were fighting over something. one of them had semi-curly hair while the other had glasses, also with curly hair. you would be lying if you said they weren’t attractive. oh gosh, you just got here and you’re beginning to drool over some boys. pathetic really.

your family finally arrived to your new home. it looked like any other house in the block. 2 floors and a big garage.

after you finished unpacking your clothes, decorations, and stuffed animals, you decided to go on your bike and explore part of the small town. it was impossible to get lost here.

“mom, im going to ride on my bike around the town.” you yelled out while walking down the stairs that seemed endless. “be sure to be back before dinner, stay safe. here is money, buy yourself some sweet or whatever you like.” she handed you 17 bucks before you thanked her and left the house to get your bike.

as you left the neighborhood, you decided to go back to where you entered to see if there was an ice cream shop there.

as you began to get closer you heard voices. “no way, vanilla is way better! it’s simple, yet good.” “eddie, when are you going to see that mint is 100x better?!” you got off your bike since the ice cream shop was right in front of you. you wanted to take a peak at the situation you heard.

there you saw the group from earlier. the redhead and the 6 boys. one of them with blue eyes turned to you. you tried to get away but he said something that made you stop. “h-h-hey you’re new here aren’t you?” he said as he walked towards you. you felt your face heat up. either from embarrassment or because you were facing another attractive boy.

“yeah, I moved here today.” you answer. “I’m b-bill.” at this point you have noticed his stutter. “im y/n.” you smiled which he also returned. “who’s this chick you found bill?” the boy with glasses approached. “she’s y/n, she’s new here.” the boy with glasses than turned his face to you, a sly smirk grew on his face. “why hello there y/n, im richie.” he extended his hand for you to shake which you did. you noted that his hands were rather soft. the other members of the group took notice of you and all introduced themselves. “I wouldn’t hang out with richie, he will probably use you just to fuck your mom.” eddie told you.

“come on y/n, let’s go buy some more ice cream and leave these losers here.” beverly grabbed your arm and led you away.

you might not hate it here after all.
