Another comment from The Witcher fandom which I’ve seen here that I dislike is people snarking about how the show abandoned Geralt’s autistic representation. Some said in season two and others said season three? I get the person posting may be autistic, but FYI even autistic people, certainly those over a hundred years old, contain multitudes lol. People can not talk for a long time and be perfectly capable of talking depending on the situation—even articulately. It doesn’t mean all non speaking people are that way at all, obviously.
We see Geralt not talk to too many over the years (though we only see snippets of his life, not every waking second). He’s not a big fan of large crowds or Jaskier and those who don’t stop talking. He speaks to Yennefer and a few others fairly “normally” (in contrast to people who say he only speaks like regular normal dude in season 2 / 3). He and Ciri don’t talk much, but being around her so often, he talks (to a human) more than usual. (He of course has talked to his horses plenty.) Even if he still grunts.
In season three he continues to be somewhat taciturn, though obviously speaks more to Yen and Ciri, in spite of trying to ignore Yen. (Thus… still speaking less than usual.) He still has no interest in large groups, bluntly dismissing everyone he encounters at the ball. He does give a few speeches—but he’s been capable of that for a while, it’s just they were usually a bit more acerbic.
Anyway, just not a fan of seeing almost non stop narrow mindedness from The Witcher fandom, which again stuns me since I thought the show at least was about alterity. And difference. As opposed to “if you don’t fit my stereotypes exactly, you deserve to have bad things happen and are objectively a horrible writer.” Which I’ve repeatedly seen posed as legit criticism.
So yeah there’s my take on autistic Geralt and how not all autistic people are identical or static. I know dunking on the show might feel necessary or good, because it seems like mocking it is almost a requirement when mentioning The Witcher (yes the Netflix version). But you really don’t have to, especially if what you’re saying isn’t true or makes no sense. You can write that down in a diary, never publish it, or say it to your friends, instead of publishing it for the world to see and for white supremacists to like and reblog. (Last part is for real lol.)

Technoblade is listed to receive the Courage Award at the Sarcoma Foundation of America’s 20th annual fundraising gala, Stand Up to Sarcoma, which will be held on September 28, 2022, at the Edison Ballroom in New York City.
Here is a link to the article.

A series of screenshots showing the listing for this year’s Courage Award from the Sarcoma Foundation of America. It reads:
“Courage Award honorees illustrate, through their personal efforts and actions, sarcoma advocacy. These individuals are patients, survivors, caregivers, and advocates who inspire others by using their platform on behalf of sarcoma patients and survivors to create hope and a better life for the sarcoma community. Many do not think they have done something special but who have inspired others and are making a difference for sarcoma patients and their families. The Courage Award honors patients who have demonstrated strength and perseverance in their sarcoma diagnosis.

*attached is, instead of a photo of the honoree like with other award listings, Techno’s YouTube icon.*
Technoblade, real name: Alexander, was an American YouTuber and internet personality known for his YouTube channel, Technoblade, a Minecraft persona in the guise of a pig that he started at 14 years old. He is widely regarded by the game’s community as one of the best Minecraft players and Minecraft content creators. In the beginning, he plugged away at making videos, attracting a small but steadily growing group of followers with a goal of accumulating 10 million subscribers, an achievement reached by very few*. In July 2021 at the age of 22, after noticing pain in his right arm and a sudden lump, he was diagnosed with sarcoma and chest scans revealed metastasis to both lungs. Alex endured chemotherapy and radiation treatments, an embolization procedure tumor, and also participated in a clinical trial for the treatment, Milademetan. Throughout his sarcoma journey, he decided to use his significant platform to help support sarcoma research, even if it most likely would not gain results in time for him. His first effort for SFA was “Minecraft But Viewers Control The Game (Charity Event).” Still weak from chemotherapy, he played for almost four hours, raising over $360,000. Throughout his treatment, he continued to do more for research, and made February 2022 his own Sarcoma Awareness Month, raising an additional $150,000. In total, Technoblade rallied his followers to raise over $1 million for sarcoma research. Unfortunately, tests revealed that his sarcoma had continued to grow and the masses in his lungs had begun pressing against his heart. He died in June of 2022, shortly after his 23rd birthday, at home, surrounded by his family. The public reaction to the announcement of his death was overwhelming. And rather than focus on what an amazing gamer he was, or how smart or how funny he was, instead people talked about his kindness and his generosity. People spoke about how much his videos helped them through a difficult time in their lives. Other well-known YouTubers such as Dream, expressed their admiration for him. Simon Collins-Laflamme, the co-founder of Hypixel, and business magnate Elon Musk expressed similar feelings. YouTube posted its condolences to his family, friends, and fans and Technoblade was described as “one of Minecraft’s most celebrated personalities.” Mojang Studios, the creators of Minecraft said that Technoblade “became synonymous with a source of good.” Even now, people are still quoting his oft-repeated catchphrases, including, “Technoblade never dies.”
*In June 2022, Technoblade’s channel had reached 10.8 million subscribers and in August 2022, it posthumously reached fifteen million subscribers.”

The patreon situation.
read the reddit post here
(edit: for a bit of added context, read this)
I know people might already be aware of this, but I figured sharing it again might help.
I'm absolutely fucking baffled. I can't even begin to imagine what it must've felt like as a patreon supporter, especially if you renewed a yearly subscription with the understanding that you would get a specific kind of content, just for that content to become unavailable without notice.
ramblings under the cut
I've seen people saying that the patreon wasn't advertised properly and they're absolutely right. As a somewhat regular viewer I was very vaguely aware of the patreon, but nothing more. No idea of the perks offered, no idea of the various tiers, nothing. I've actually seen people who support/ed them on patreon saying that watcher was inconsistent with giving out rewards, which is shitty.
I'm familiar with creators having a patreon, I think it's great! But these creators frequently mention having it and ask for people to support them there if they can and are comfortable with it, which is very different from what the watcher gang is doing.
Watcher didn't advertise properly, almost as if they had been ashamed of it, AND THEN said "oh, your rewards are on a different platform pay us there, in the meantime have this podcast instead!"
I don't have the words to express how insane that sounds and how disrespectful it was towards ALREADY PAYING FANS.

Hey, as a long viewer of your anti iroh posts, which, as a person who just recently watched ATLA, I have a very controversial theory/headcanon based on my knowledge of general psychology (not a psychologist so disregard if incorrect) and perspective of Iroh's character and by the attitude of his fans that can possibly get me hate messages and even death threats. So I came to the conclusion that Iroh expresses an uncomfortable character of NPD or particularly a certain "sub" that you will, being Benevolent/Vulnerable Narcissim.
Iroh loves to present himself as "wise, kind and fatherly," but his actions showcase the total opposite, and his supposed identity appears far more shallow and self-centred. He never properly mentors or shows to really know Zuko. Instead, he simply uses Zuko to serve as his act of penance, which is why he never meaningfully teaches Zuko to become a better person or to realise that his father is at fault and that his sister is not his real enemy. But no, instead, he lays off to do the bare minimum. He shows less to no remorse for Zuko's predicament that was caused by him for not standing up to his brother when he was banished. Nor does Iroh show any for Zuko's victims. Instead, Iroh operates under the mindset that supporting Zuko and making him Firelord will accomplish his penance. His lack of care for Azula is precisely because she is an obstacle not just for Zuko but for his "penance" as well.
It's also interesting the lack of self-awareness that Iroh has. He calls Azula crazy for doing what he did for decades. The only difference is that Azula genuinely cares for her nation while Iroh doesn't really care except his glory. He sent his son to the front lines to fight his own battles for him, which isn't that different from Ozai's treatment of Azula and Zuko. Oh, and at the finale, what does he do? Send Zuko and Katara into danger while abandoning them to satisfy his selfish desire. Of course, as you mentioned, he also doesn't live up to his own "wisdom" instead using that wisdom to appear smart and confuse others. Because in all honesty, Zuko NEVER applies any of Iroh's suppose wisdom because Iroh doesn't ever think to teach BLUNTLY to Zuko, like any basic teacher can look at Iroh and already have their hands in their face, but of course the further issue is that instead of applying basic healthy logic, Iroh instead utilises the toxic sibling rivalry to manipulate Zuko into becoming his "perfect" son. Zuko becomes a better person despite Iroh not because of him, Zuko's "metamorphosis" (aka breakdown) is the best example of how unhealthy Iroh's parenting is.
Iroh is also shameless when it comes to his mistakes. He never feels guilt or apologises to June for his blatant sexual harassment. He has no shame for being friends with the Rough Rhinos or assisting Zhao in the further conquest and bloodshed of the Northen Water Tribe. He never thinks or comes clean with his crimes against the Earth Kingdom, instead choosing to profit off the very same people he victimised. He never apologises to Zuko for being a shitty mentor/Uncle.
Iroh reminds me of ALOT of narcissistic so called "benevolent" or "vulnerable" people who will appear kind and even express self hatred but only for further validation and without taking risks or responsibility whatsoever for their mistakes, instead blaming others or doing "good" little things to create a narrative that they are "saints" and that people who disagree or despise them are "crazy or evil".
This might be far-fetched, but when you consider that to this day, the majority of ATLA fans have been juiced in this narrative that Iroh = 50 year old warmonger is a Saint who should be worshipped and that Zuko should be "thankful and grateful" of said Iroh, and that Azula = 14 year old abused child soldier who did the least messed up things and is the youngest member is demonised for being "crazy" and even Aang gets treated inferior to Iroh, well it already feels right at home with typical narcissistic narratives
I've had similar thoughts myself, but I really don't like applying medical diagnoses to fictional characters living in a very different society, so I never quite articulated them. Certainly Iroh seems to be an extraordinarily self-centered person who puts major effort into pretending not be so self-centered.

Welcome to another round of W2 Tells You What You Should See, where W2 (me) tries to sell you (you) on something you should be watching. Today's choice: 절대 그이/My Absolute Boyfriend
Tumblr media
My Absolute Boyfriend is the 2019 Korean live-action adaptation of the Watase Yuu manga "Absolute Boyfriend." (There are two other adaptations, one Taiwanese and one Japanese.) It tells the story of a woman who has just broken up with her celebrity boyfriend, and the robot who becomes a real boy by falling in love with her.
Tumblr media
(And yes, the reason we started watching it was because of Yeo Jingoo, since the tantalizing prospect of "that guy who played Han Juwon, playing a robot boyfriend" was too amazing to pass up.)
I need to note right off the bat: I am not usually a consumer of bippy k-dramas, romcoms, or het romance in media in general. No shade to anyone who likes these thing; they're just not my regular cup of tea. So if your tastes are akin to mine, you may have looked at the poster and been like, hm, no thank you.
Thus I am here to try and sell you on it even if you are not a fan of these genres.
This show is so unwatched that (as far as I can tell) there is nothing for it on AO3. There are a mere eight hits for the manga, Zettai Kareshi | Absolute Boyfriend, but there's nothing at all for this adaptation. This is an absolute crime, for reasons I will detail in the forthcoming five reasons to watch (above and beyond the simple pleasure of watching Yeo Jingoo be a handsome goober, though that remains a serious point in its favor):
1. Balls entirely to the wall
You know those Tumblr posts where someone comments and is like, at no point could I have predicted what the next word in that sentence would be? Yeah, that, only the sentence is the show.
Tumblr media
This show is absolutely bonkers. It is absolute storytelling mayhem. It is gleefully head-clutching weird. Someone told it that girls like exactly three things -- cute boys in adorable outfits, cute boys with their shirts off, and cute boys in Situations -- and it is ready to deliver.
I could tell you what the plot of the show is, or at least I could try, but that wouldn't convey the sheer volume of shenanigans it gets up to. I feel like every time it had a flashback montage (set to one of its six licensed pop songs), I was like, oh yeah, that happened.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
The thing, too, is that it's so self-aware. This show knows precisely what it is, and it's having fun with it. The acting is often melodramatic, but obviously very consciously so. I'm not going to say the show never takes itself seriously (because it does -- see my point #5), but it never doesn't know exactly what it is.
Tumblr media
Browsing the MyDramaList page, I can see that a lot of viewers had lukewarm feelings on the show as a whole. (Normally I don't make the mistake of reading the comments, but since this is such a non-property in English-speaking fandom, I had to go find out what the hell.) And yeah, I can imagine that if you came into this expecting a more straight-faced entry in the genre, what you get could be confusing and alienating.
If you watch this, take off your nitpicker's hat. There are many, many points that do not make sense. Just go with it. Let the cute boys take off their shirts. Kiss a robot. Embrace chaos.
2. A++ Girlfriend
Tumblr media
Eom Dada is great. She's just so weird. I love her and I absolutely understand why those two boys want to get with her.
She is a special effects makeup artist who runs her own three-person team that specializes in sci-fi/horror properties. One of the first things we see her doing is mixing up a bunch of different types of fake blood, because, hey, a lot of different stunt people are going to die today, and you can't just use one type of blood for everybody!
Tumblr media
She is a dadgumn professional, is what she is.
What she isn't, however, is a pick-me, not-like-the-other-girls girl. Several times, she gets dressed up real cute and femme, and she never expresses negativity toward her more girly-girl friends. It's not that she's rejecting femininity so much as that her vision of femininity is big enough to include creating beautiful fake severed body parts. When someone describes a female character as "quirky," I cringe reflexively. But that's what she is! She's got quirks! She's a nice, normal girl who is also a big weirdo.
Tumblr media
Since I did go read the comments, I found out pretty quickly that a lot of viewers hate her. Part of this, I'm sure, is just your generic vitriol you see aimed at any woman in a show, because holy fuck, we sure do hate women.
But I think part of it may come from how she's not asking "how high?" every time those boys tell her they'd like her to jump. There's some real viciousness out there toward women that turn down men, epecially from other women. Without getting too much into psychoanalysis about it, an awful lot of hate gets directed from other women toward the female ex-/partners of desirable men, much of which comes from the terrible assumption that if you were in her position, you'd be appropriately grateful! You'd treat that boy right! That lucky bitch doesn't know how good she's got it!
...You see how that's bad, though, right? Like, really bad and toxic?
Tumblr media
Eom Dada tells those boys "no" when she doesn't want what they're offering. She's realizes early on that setting yourself on fire to keep your partner warm is terrible, so she stops. She's going to make them wait until she wants it -- and if she never wants it, well, those boys just get to keep right on waiting!
Read me loud and clear: I'm not saying the only reason to dislike Eom Dada is misogyny. Sometimes you just don't like a character! It happens! It's legal! What I am saying, though, is that when you look at a lot of the hate toward her all at once, certain trends emerge, and they're more than a little bit ugly.
Tumblr media
And I think that's unfair because she's an absolute pumpkin who deserves all the smooches and spicy noodles she wants.
3. ...Are they gonna kiss?
And by "they" here, I don't mean Girlfriend and Robot Boyfriend, who obviously smooch. I mean Robot Boyfriend and Ex-Boyfriend.
Tumblr media
They hate one another! They make heartbreaking sacrifices for one another! They're vicious rivals! They team up to solve mysteries! They're incredibly suspicious of one another! They trust one another completely! What the actual hell is going on with these two? Because oh boy, the show itself sure doesn't know.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Their relationship yo-yos constantly throughout the length of the series. They're never friends, but they get weirdly close on several occasions, including rescuing one another from terrible predicaments. They also both seem fascinated with each other, above and beyond how they're competing for the affections of the same girl. The actors have some solid chemistry (much of it comedic) in their shared scenes. They're certainly not afraid to get right up in each other's personal space.
This isn't queerbaiting, it's not using gay as a punchline, it's ... something, that's for sure. And by that I mean, I don't know if I've ever seen a more powerful vindication of the principle that the optimal solution to every love triangle is a threesome.
Tumblr media
This to me is one of the flaws of the show, that it has decided it must never acknowledge the strength of their independent bond outside of its place in the central love conflict, and to keep from doing so, it keeps nuking Ex-Boyfriend's character back to square one. He learns about love and trust and growth! ...and then we need the plot to have a which boy will she choose??? conflict, so he's got to unlearn all of that real quick so he can be a real dillhole again. If it didn't feel obligated to do that, things would get sexy fast, I'm just saying.
Here is the main reason I'm baffled that I'm getting no AO3 hits for this: These three would be one hell of a throuple. Where are my bisexual horndog fix-it fics where all three of them wind up sharing Ma Wangjoon's comically large bed?
4. Weirdly healthyish messages about romance?
I mentioned earlier that het romance in media is not my thing, and one of the main reasons it's not is how many just gross messages it delivers about normative gender roles and behaviors.
Tumblr media
This show absolutely starts that way. Robot Boyfriend is raised on all your classic romcoms and taught that love is all about giving everything with no concern for your own well-being, while at the same time overriding all your partner's objections because you know what she really wants. When he first latches on to Eom Dada, he's kind of your classic overbearing comedy stalker who doesn't take no for an answer, because True Love.
And then ... he changes. He realizes that his romcom education is not going to help here, so he decides to figure out what kind of boyfriend she actually wants. Once he does that, he starts to figure out that he wants to be loved too. And that's when things get interesting.
Tumblr media
He never stops being pretty forward about things, but it becomes far more playful when he's not pressuring her, just reminding her that the offer is still on the table. Eom Dada then responds by becoming clear about how she definitely wants to take this boy out for a spin -- just at her own pace, when she herself is ready for it.
Tumblr media
It makes an interesting contrast to how, when she was with Ex-Boyfriend, all she wanted was for him to acknowledge her (which he wanted to do too, but couldn't, for absolutely bonkers reasons, because this show is just Like That). The two of them are still in love, but the show makes it clear that being in love doesn't mean you're going to be good together -- and it doesn't mean you have to forgive the bullshit your ex-partner pulled back when you were together.
Tumblr media
But the love triangle isn't even the sole source of romance! There's a whole 'nother love ... triangle? quadrilateral? Whatever, you've also got Robot Boyfriend's charmingly goofy MIT-educated co-creator/trainer/big brother, who becomes the object of affection for at least two of the supporting characters.
My take on this is that Handsome Robot Hyung deserves the whole harem: the boss lady who can pick him up, the cute thirsty girl who does yoga, and the sweet gay-coded boy who is so impressed that he knows robots. (This is another tragic casualty of the NO HOMO attitude of the show, where that boy should be treated as a legitimate love interest, but can never be. But we know better!)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
I'm used to seeing love triangles solved in one of three ways: 1) one point on the triangle gets demonized so significantly as to make the other one the obvious choice; 2) the eventually unchosen point gets given a Consolation Prize Significant Other so we don't fell too bad about how they didn't get chosen; or 3) one point dies or is otherwise removed from the narrative, letting the other two hook up without guilt. None of those things happen to either of these love polygons. Despite some genre-appropriate catty, melodramatic speed bumps, everything gets resolved in the manner of adults with reasonable amounts of emotional maturity. It's weirdly kind of nice.
(This isn't to say there's no toxic bullshit that slips in -- for instance, I still don't know what to make of that one arguing couple, or what Robot Boyfriend says to them. It's just much less than I expected.)
Your mileage may vary about the choices the show makes at the very end. It's not how I would have ended it, sure, but I also don't think it could have ended any other way -- remember, this is a show that never forgets what it is. It is contractually obligated by its genre conventions to keep certain narrative promises. If anything, I think it's interesting how much it feels it can get away with leaving hopeful yet unresolved, up to and including how many people are still comfortably single at the end of the show. Partnered romance isn't always the solution to everything! Sometimes you've got your career and you've got your friends, and now you've got some time to work on yourself! Maybe it won't always be that way, but it sure is right now. And that's great.
5. A surprisingly sophisticated meditation on memory and mortality (say that five times fast)
Real talk: In the past four months, I have lost a lot of people, places, and animals who were very dear to me, and had some close calls with a couple more. It has sucked exactly as much as you think it has.
So yeah, in the last few episodes, I blew through some tissues.
Tumblr media
To a certain degree, it's exactly the kind of melodramatic tearjerker narrative you'd expect from a property like this. And let me tell you what, there is nothing wrong with getting a good, sappy cry going because of the overwrought dramas of fictional people. There are plenty of objectively mediocre shows and movies I put on because I know I'm going to be a blubbering wreck by the end.
This show, however, has the extra layer of interest that Robot Boyfriend is both Boyfriend and Robot. I don't want to spoil anything, but I will say that having a guy designed to be reformatted every time a new person smooches him adds a whole lot of interesting layers to what counts as death and mourning.
Tumblr media
Add that to how Eom Dada is still grieving the loss of her beloved father, who taught her everything she knew about her career, and you get some surprisingly moving little moments that creep in through the wacky hijinks that make up the rest of the show.
Tumblr media
Look, it's nothing I'd ever teach in a Philosophy seminar, or anything so profound as that. But it's quiet and nice, and it has more depth than I expected, and it all hit me right in my tender little feels box. If that's the kind of thing you're open to, you could do a lot worse.
Thinking about giving this one a shot?
Viki's got the series in its full 40-episode run. (It's actually 20 hour-long episodes split in half because of commercial break rules, if you're wondering why it's sometimes Like That.) So does Tubi. I guess your choice then becomes which one's ads you'd rather sit through.
Tumblr media
I think if you go into this with the attitude that you're just going to go with it all and laugh at how zany it is, you're in for a fine time. Whether or not you think it's good is up to your standards of quality. But it's hard to deny that it's a whole lot of fun.
Tumblr media
And then get your ass to AO3 and give me some OT3! Mama needs these three cutie patooties to smooch~

my issue with f1nnster is less about him and more about the larger trend he has kind of become a microcosm of. the combination of irony-poisoned “everything is a bit” mentality, the way the interent incentivizes monetizing your “genuine” self, and the increased acceptance of gender nonconformity and the subsequent pushback against that acceptance has made it so that the safest (relatively speaking) way to be gnc is to frame it as a joke. F1nn’s bit is that you pay him money to “force” him to dress as a girl, but i think its fair to say that he does enjoy dressing that way, and he could just stop at any point.
I remember a few years ago when some tiktok was being spread on this site of a guy in a maid dress, where you hear someone walk in on him and he starts to explain himself in a panic before the video cuts. Like obviously he was fine if he uploaded the video, but the framing of the joke is one that lets the viewer laugh at the idea of him being in a bad situation for being gnc. And a lot of the trend of guys crossdressing for content has this same air about. And its not like i think people should never make jokes about themselves or their gender presentation, but these jokes being the only expression reinforces the idea that being gnc  without any ironic self awareness is something to be mocked. These guys get in on the joke, and as a result, do save themselves from some, but certainly not all, of the harassment for it. Its certainly not going to protect them from transphobic laws looking to ban all gender nonconformity.
Trans women cant really do that. That option to situationally frame it as just a joke isnt really and option for us, or for people who arent just crossdressing for content online. And when the nature of some of the jokes often comes off as “at least im not someone who does this because i like it” its kind of inevitably going to create some hostility. And F1nn being the most well known of these guys means a good portion of that is going to be aimed at him, even if he isnt really responsible for all that. But hes well off enough financially and gets so much interaction from his fans that i doubt hed even notice the few trans women who dislike him if his fans didnt make a huge deal about it every time they caught wind of a even a mild complaint about him.

Week 4: Digital Community and Fandom: Reality TV Case Study
The convergence of traditional and modern media has led to the emergence of a new form of media different from traditional methods. Studies on viewing habits showed that 54% of viewers in the UK watch audiovisual content on a laptop, 49% on a tablet, and 39% on a mobile phone at least once a week (Sørensen 2015, p. 382).
It is possible to develop definitions that approach Reality Television as a distinct study area with its characteristics. Developing these definitions is by examining the terms 'real' and 'life': the genre invites viewers to witness the everyday, domestic, and behind-the-scenes aspects of ordinary individuals' lives. The audience is promised a glimpse into the lives of "real" people (Alsultany 2016, p. 3), and the shows are not typically scripted, are cheaper to produce, and feature "real" people instead of celebrities.
The 'REAL' Show
In the analysis of Here Comes Honey Boo Boo, the reality program began as a spinoff of TLC's Toddlers and Tiaras which offers a portrayal of people going about their normal lives, with storylines ranging from everyday activities like grocery shopping to unique, remarkable, or bizarre social rituals specific to a particular geographic region or socioeconomic class. However, the constructed panorama must also appeal to commercial television audiences, representing a fusion of popular entertainment with a self-conscious claim to portraying reality (Murray & Oullette 2009, p. 3). This self-awareness highlights the constructed nature of even the most seemingly "observational" Reality Television show, suggesting that perhaps the genre's most fundamental goal is to somehow prevent viewers from critically examining the underlying nature of what they are watching. Conclusively, this highlights that key terms serve an overarching purpose in Reality Television to provide enjoyable voyeurism by allowing viewers to follow an individual's lived experience. When Here Comes Honey Boo Boo premiered in 2012 it was a ratings smash, garnering itself an audience of 2.2 million people and a 1.6 share among 18-49 year-olds, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Tumblr media
Reality TV is a perfect fit for humor as a genre. Social media is a hub for fans to perform for likes and shares, with popular reality franchises like Drag Race and Love Island having multiple fan accounts dedicated to sharing jokes and memes about the shows. Humor is a key component of certain reality brands' social media presence, with both the creation and circulation of jokes and memes being a common practice (Deller 2019).
Tumblr media
The reality series "Here Comes Honey Boo Boo" follows the life of Alana 'Honey Boo Boo' Thompson, a child beauty pageant participant, and her unique family. Johnny Depp has confessed to being a fan of the show, showing both intrigue and a hint of apprehension, stating, "I'm a little frightened of the show. That's the thing They're probably great people, but there are bits that happen that just I am mesmerized by." Here Comes Honey Boo Boo has amassed many celebrity fans, including Rosie O'Donnell and 'We Can't Stop' singer Miley Cyrus (Harp 2013). In October 2014, the reality TV world was rocked when TMZ.com released a photo of June "Mama June" Shannon in a hotel room with a man named Mark McDaniel, who had just been released from prison after serving ten years for molesting an eight-year-old child. To make matters worse, TMZ also reported that the child was someone Shannon had been in contact with. In response, TLC expressed serious concern and stated that they would be reevaluating the future of the show. The following day, TLC made the decision to cancel Here Comes Honey Boo Boo, emphasizing their commitment to the well-being of the children involved (Meltzer 2023). This caused a stir among both fans of the show and those who were not fond of it, basically, as the TV show was found to be sheltering a criminal.
To conclude, Reality TV Shows are not about reality, they involve real humans and scenarios.

Dabi, Gojo & Eren: Fuckboys or not?
Tumblr media
In this modern age and time of anime and manga, the world of the internet is blessed by the presence of several different attractive 2D anime men. And arguably the most favorite ones among the fans are Dabi aka Touya Todoroki (My Hero Academia), Satoru Gojo (Jujutsu Kaisen), and Eren Jeager (Attack On Titan). Everyone just wants a piece of them. But the real question is, who would these men date and how? While we all know that Dabi and Gojo aren’t dating anyone canonically so far because Kohei Horikoshi and Gege Akutami just aren’t about all that jazz, Eren on the other hand did show romantic interest towards Mikasa Ackerman, but that relationship had to meet its tragic ending very soon than expected. Also, there are barely any romantic threads explored through the chapters of MHA and JJK manga so far for both Dabi and Gojo. Perhaps because of it, the show's viewers and the manga readers have been obsessively trying to find any pair of people (or curses) to ship together in various permutation combinations.
This isn’t something new or unique to MHA, JJK, and AOT as I must say - "Writers gonna write, fandoms gonna ship."
I'm well aware that the fandoms of MHA, JJK, and AOT have always portrayed Dabi, Satoru Gojo, and Eren Jeager as fuckboys, but are they really that? That's why I'm on an important quest here to determine once and for all if Dabi, Gojo, and Eren are fuckboy or not. Let’s dive right in. Since this is going to be an in-depth analysis, I did some research on what makes a fuckboy. According to this article, there are some traits that all fuckboys have in common. We’re gonna explore some of them and see if they apply to these mentioned hunky men.
First, let's point out the traits of a fuckboy -
He's a smooth operator
Yet knows how to play it cool
He promises a lot
He's always busy as hell
He has the tendency to lie
He's always online
His social media is full of women
He SAYS he's not a fuckboy
The relationship is pretty sexual
It's always a little one dimensional
Now it's impossible to go through each and every given point mentioned above, but I'll try to cover at least half of them.
Tumblr media
He's a smooth operator -
This describes a charismatic, funny, charming, smooth man. They can talk you up and their way out of any situation because they seem to know all of the right words.
Dabi may not be a smooth operator, cause we've never seen him being funny or charismatic anytime in the series. Sure he's smart, calm, and collected (even manipulative) which is shown from time to time whenever he's appeared in the scenes, but we've never seen him butter up someone or talk his way out of any situation whatsoever.
Tumblr media
Besides, Dabi isn't someone who would do such a thing anyway, to begin with (because he's too emo and edgy for that). So I'm giving him a hard NO.
The same goes for Eren as well. Sure younger Eren was hardheaded, strong-willed, passionate, impulsive, reckless, selfless, and charismatic, older Eren on the other hand isn't like that at all. Older Eren has an unnervingly stoic and calm demeanor, never losing his composure and usually wearing a blank expression on his face, no matter how dire or stressful the situation may be. Sure we saw him once using Falco to meet up with Reiner back at Marley, but he didn't use his charisma to trick Falco. Instead, he used his tactic and manipulation to deceive the young boy and convinced him to bring Reiner to him.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
So for this Eren also gets a hard NO.
Gojo on the other hand is very comfortable joking around with literally everyone he interacts with, friend or enemy. Moreover, he is very witty and charismatic in all these interactions.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
All evidence would point to Gojo being a smooth talker, except this doesn’t seem to work on most people in JJK. While Gojo has a fair share of admirers within the story, most people are either annoyed or neutral to his charms. We’re gonna give him a MAYBE on this criteria.
Tumblr media
Can play it cool -
If I’ve understood this one correctly, then this is a person who won’t show excitement for things. They might not text you back immediately or might act nonchalantly and unbothered.
First of all, Gojo is anything but nonchalant and unbothered and you all know the reason why -
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
For this Gojo gets a hard NO.
For Dabi, I must say he fits in this category quite well, but that was prior to the Touya-revelation chapter. Because as soon as he revealed his true identity and abusive childhood to the whole world, he wasn't Dabi anymore. He's reverted back to his old self: Touya Todoroki. Dabi may act nonchalantly and unbothered, but Touya doesn't. While little Touya was very energetic and boisterous back in the days, older Touya on the other hand is highly enigmatic and pragmatic. He takes pleasure in taunting heroic figures, students, and Pro Heroes alike, sadistically enjoying the pain he inflicts on others, including those he murders. He loves to engage in psychological warfare in order to unnerve whoever his opposition is and is rather savvy about how heroes operate and will exploit their natural tendency to rescue others. He is not afraid of causing collateral destruction, rarely holding back, even if it puts his allies at risk. Touya is intolerant of most people and can be very derisive most of the time, being quite rude and condescending to essentially everybody he interacts with. He insulted Shigaraki immediately after meeting him and constantly does the same to both his allies and enemies but doesn't always do it with the intention to be rude. Though older Touya is sadistic and sociopathic, he can also be apologetic, remorseful, and sympathetic at times needed. And most importantly, after revealing his true identity, Touya's NOT at all chilled -
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
For this Dabi gets a soft NO.
And if we're talking about older Eren here, then yes, older Eren is really chilled whatever the situation is. For those who have seen season 4 of AOT, I don't think I need to go any further about older Eren here. So for the criteria, Eren gets a hard YES.
Tumblr media
He makes a lot of promises -
This criterion describes someone who makes a lot of promises but never fulfills them.
Let's talk about Dabi here. The reason why he's so traumatized and is now considered the most 'tragic' character in the series is all because of his father, Endeavor aka Enji Todoroki. Enji threw him into an illusion of becoming a great hero (even greater than All Might) and promised to support him to the end at a very young age. Touya clung to those fickle hopes, dreams, and promises even after his father later rejected him and tossed him to the side.
Tumblr media
Even though his father abused him mentally and emotionally from time to time, Touya still kept on loving his father to the point it became a borderline unhealthy obsession. And not only that, when he finally started to resent his father after waking up from comatose and promised himself to destroy the pride and status that Endeavor took years to build, he kept that promise to that very end. He waited 8 whole years to destroy Endeavor which also indicated that Touya is a very patient man. For someone who was deceived over and over again by his loved one, whose promises were broken by the same loved one, I don't think Dabi/Touya would be someone to make any sort of promises to his s/o. Rather he's someone who believes in the quote "action speaks louder than words". So he's getting a big hard NO on this one.
Now let's talk about Gojo. episode 3 of JJK, Gojo promised his students a tour of Tokyo but took them to a haunted site full of curses instead. So I can imagine Gojo making a lot of fickle promises and ending up doing what he wants to instead.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
However, by the end of that episode, Gojo did take his students out for a ride and dinner.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
He might get playful and seem conceited at times but Gojo always comes through. There are very few things that Gojo takes seriously, and keeping promises is one of them. Gojo gets a hard NO for this one as well.
And now let's talk about Eren here. Both younger Eren and older Eren are passionate individuals and are someone who cares about their loved ones to death. I mean the man promised to give a better world to his friends and ended up committing genocide (killing 80% of humanity or four-fifth of the society). This man knows how to keep his promises. So he's also getting a hard NO on this one too.
Tumblr media
He's always busy -
From time to time, Dabi's shown to be busy in the series, like going around the city and doing his own thing (burning people alive that is) but he's not too busy to lend a helping hand to Shigaraki and the League whenever necessary.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
So, he's getting a soft NO on this one.
Gojo on the other hand has a habit of often passing on his missions to his students. In episode 2 of JJK, Megumi is left alone to fight with Sukuna and gets badly injured. Gojo arrives at the scene and it is revealed he was sightseeing and buying souvenirs while people’s lives were in mortal danger.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Surely, Gojo isn’t around a lot of times when he is needed. However, he does hold an important position in the Jujutsu Sorcerers’ world. Additionally, he has a lot of faith in his student. What I am trying to get at here is that while Gojo may not be there all the time, he usually has a good reason for it. Although he does seem the type to ditch his significant other in the middle of a date because he got distracted by an ice-cream truck or a baked potato stand. So, we’re gonna give him a soft YES to this one.
Have we ever seen Eren being really busy with something and not being able to give quality time to his loved ones? Not really (at least from what I've seen so far). And due to the lack of evidence, I'm gonna give him a NO on this one again.
Tumblr media
You never fully know them -
Relationships, or in most cases, Situation-ships with fuckboys in real life can be pretty one-dimensional. You never fully get to have deeper connections with them because you never get to know them.
Dabi, yes at first was mysterious, I mean really mysterious, but he also had a solid reason to be like that - to destroy Endeavor's life and career. But after that whole revelation happened, Dabi didn't hesitate to keep anything secret at all. He revealed and exposed everything that's related to him (including his traumatic past, his abusive father, etc.) to the whole world back in the war at Jaku City and later in the 2nd war when Shoto asked him why he didn't come back home after surviving the forest fire, Dabi again didn't hesitate to tell the backstory of his rescue and survival.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Dabi may not open up to his s/o at first, but he will at some point in time. Slowly but surely. It's just a matter of time and place until he'll vomit out everything. So he's again getting a soft NO on this one.
Seeing Gojo with this lens makes a certain degree of sense. Even people who spend a majority of their time with him can not seem to figure him out. However, in Gojo’s case, this is less a matter of his shallowness and more a matter of, there is no one in the JJK Universe who can stand beside Satoru Gojo. Even people like Nanami who openly say they don’t respect Gojo, still hold him in high regard and rely on him. In conclusion, while we may never fully understand Gojo, he gets a soft NO in this.
Do we really need to say anything about this when it comes to Eren?
Tumblr media Tumblr media
This man hid all of his plans, his emotions, his almost everything within himself in order to carry out and execute the genocide without any hindrance. For sure, Eren gets a hard YES on this one, no doubt about it.
Tumblr media
Arrogance and self-obsession -
I personally have other criteria for fuckboys and that is arrogance and self-obsession. We all know that canonically Dabi and Eren aren't arrogant or self-obsessed and they're not someone to show off how awesome and cool they are. Maybe younger Eren and younger Touya would like to have shown off their powers and abilities to others around them, but their older selves won't. So they're getting a HARD NO on this one for sure.
Gojo on the other hand actually fits perfectly for this. He has a degree of self-assured arrogance and this mostly annoys older or mature people in the JJK series namely, Megumi, Nobara, Maki, Panda, Inumaki, Nanami, Utahime, Yaga, Gakuganji, etc (while others like Geto and Shoko don't give a shit about it). However, naive people like Miwa, Yuji, or even Yuta find him quite interesting and charming. Gojo never misses a chance to show off how cool and awesome he can be. Additionally, he never shies away from praising himself when no one else will.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Having said that, is it really narcissism if it’s all true? Sure, Gojo smugly says he is the strongest on multiple occasions, but that is objectively 100% the truth in the JJK universe.
Tumblr media
Conclusion -
Now that we’ve gone over almost all the factors that form a fuckboy, we’re ready to arrive at a conclusion. Based on their behaviors around their seniors, peers, juniors, enemies, friends, family, students, or whatnot, we can somewhat conclude that these three men might have the aesthetics of a fuckboy, but they are not.
Well, at least Dabi and Eren are NOT fuckboys for sure, Gojo on the other hand, it's kinda complicated. And the biggest piece of evidence of Gojo being a potential fuckboy comes from Gege Akutami himself. As Gege said in one of his past interviews, he can not imagine Gojo being faithful to a woman. However, since Gege doesn’t plan on giving Gojo (or any main character) a romantic angle in the story, we’ll never truly know.
Gojo is a lot of things, fickle, conceited, self-centered, arrogant, and so on. However, all aspects of his personality are completely genuine. He is someone who is capable of deeply caring about people and goes to great lengths to protect them and he brings people souvenirs every time he visits places.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
This charming man-child might be a 63” walking red flag but based on all the highly scientific research and my personal feelings, Gojo is also NOT a fuckboy.
Dabi, on the other hand, might be the greatest, the coldest, and the emo-est, edgelord ever lived in Musutafu City, but deep down he still cares to some extent, feels remorseful for his wrongdoings, and even feels sympathetic and apologetic for certain people around him (for example, while he had no problem killing the Pro Hero Snatch, the latter's words appear to have resonated with him, implying that Dabi has sympathy for those that have lost family due to villains, as well as the loved ones of those who he has killed. This does not extend to his own family though, as Dabi has frequently contemplated their deaths for the sake of revenge).
Tumblr media
It's just that his hatred and resentment towards his own father (also his whole family) are stopping him from becoming a soft boi.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Whichever version of Eren Jeager you choose, at the end of the day, he's just someone who loves and deeply cares about his loved and dear ones.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Don’t get me wrong, all three of them are still very frustrating men to have a romantic relationship with, but they are still lovable in their own ways and also loved by the fandom themselves.

I’m reading the comics, and the more I think about Sandman’s ending, the more I worry about how Netflix will adapt it, so here are my thoughts. (Spoiler warning for the comics, obviously)
I feel like Netflix wont want to adapt Morpheus’ death. I’ve seen a few people online complain about having watched Sandman and then gone on to read the comics or spoil the comics for themselves, only to express their sadness and anger at what happens. And I’d like to say, I agree with them– I know Sandman is a purposeful tragedy and it’s meant to make you upset, but at the end of the day I’m only human and I don’t want one of my favorite fictional characters to suffer, sue me. But that just makes me think, these people have got to be in the majority opinion here. I don’t know any of the statistics for what perfect of Sandman viewers have/haven’t read the comics, but I would imagine that lots of them haven’t, and out of that group, plenty of them probably don’t expect it to take such a tragic turn.
Because it will end up being a twist, I’m fairly sure of it. It’s obvious in the comics that Morpheus isn’t okay, and even more so that the people around him don’t seem to notice because “that’s just how he is, you get used to it”. (The first thing to come to mind is Merv telling Lucien that Dream is being dramatic about Thessaly again, when really he’s grieving his son’s death– no one thought to ask him if he was alright, they just went on like normal) But in the show, it seems less so. You can tell in the comics Morpheus has issues, but in the TV show, it’s more lighthearted. Someone made a post somewhere on here pointing out that the show is more kind to its characters; John Dee doesn’t kill Rosemary, Unity and Desire are in love rather than one assaulting the other, etc. I’m glad that the show is lighter, I think it was a nice change. However, I also understand that it’s setting a somewhat false pretense for new fans who have no idea what’s in store for the show if it gets a full run, and I also think that Netflix is well aware of the fact that these show-only fans will be furious if the Morpheus they’ve grown to love over the course of 3 or 4 seasons gets killed off “out of nowhere”. Which leads me to the few options I think Netflix will end up considering.
The first is a fully faithful TV show adaptation. They accurately portray Morpheus’ battle with suicidal thoughts and he ultimately dies tragically– Neil Gaiman is happy, comic fans are happy, TV show fans (the ones Netflix cares most about) are decidedly not. These fans might leave bad reviews and scare off any potential future watchers, or stop watching the show altogether, assuming there is more content to be made out of Overture, Endless Nights, etc. It’d appeal to showrunners and fans of the comic but would be an awful business decision.
Second option is that they drop the show. Netflix understands that Neil Gaiman and comic fans both want a comic-accurate portrayal, but if comic readers are in the minority of the viewers of the show, they’ll be ignored. So, if Netflix isn’t allowed to drastically change the script and keep Morpheus alive, they won’t kill him off, either, and just end the show and leave it open to interpretation for all fans. It’s unclear how many people would be upset versus happy over this, because it would depend whether Netflix was going to originally kill off Morpheus or not. If they made this show with the intention of keeping him alive and discovered that it *really* wasn’t allowed once they finally get to season 4, well...they won’t be happy, so no one gets to be. There’s also an option 2.5 here, where they could include Morpheus’ death, but they botch it terribly somehow out of spite for Gaiman or comic fans wanting them to properly kill him– it’s extremely petty, but who’s to say they wouldn’t?
Third option is that they keep him alive. This, I think, is the least likely. Even though I’m a terrible fan of the comics for wanting Morpheus alive and well and very much so wanting this to happen (sorry neil for not appreciating the modern greek tragedy of it enough), I can’t imagine Neil lets it happen. Season one was incredibly faithful to the comics, and the only changes made were either ones to make it less dark for Netflix (as I mentioned before), or things to do with the timeline shift, like Dream missing his 1989 meeting with Hob because the show takes place 30 years later. The accuracy of season one is something that everyone and their mothers has praised vehemently, so I would be really surprised if not only the showrunners were totally fine with a complete 180º of loyalty, but comic fans, too. They’d probably consider it because it would appeal most to show-only Sandman fans, and they have begun to set it up at least a little bit (Daniel plotline change, Dream has faster character development, so on and so forth), but it just seems very improbable. Undoubtedly its something Netflix has considered but I’d be shocked if they go through with it.
TL;DR: Because of how many show-only Sandman fans get upset when they learn about Morpheus’ death in the comics, I think netflix will have to either piss off show fans, comic fans, or the writers of the comics when they choose how to adapt his death. It’ll probably come down to a matter of “who makes us the most money and how do we keep them happy”, and my guess is that it’ll be the show-only fans, or, they try to appeal to everyone all at once and do a horrendous job at it.

Oshi No Ko #1 - Mother and Childern
Tumblr media
Screenplay: Jin Tanaka Storyboard: Daisuke Hiramaki, Saori Tachibana, Asami Nakatani Episode Director: Daisuke Hiramaki, Saori Tachibana, Asami Nakatani, Ryota Ito, Chengmin Jin Chief Animation Director: Kanna Hirayama Animation Director: Kanna Hirayama, Shun Sawai, Masaaki Yamano, Takeshi Osame, Maho Yoshikawa, Shuuta Sato, Manato Onishi, Tomoko Uno, Tomoya Atsumi, Asami Hayakawa, TOMATO, Miki Matsumoto, Honoka Yokoyama, Honoka Hada
To be honest, I didn't really know what to expect from the show. I am not a big fan of idol culture in general, and I typically find it quite toxic based on what I've seen. Also, I had no knowledge of the plot of this series at all aside from that aspect. Plus, completely unrelated to my thoughts on idols, the sheer size of the first episode was quite intimidating for me. It's not extremely hard to find time for a 20-minute episode and write about it, yet I've already missed many episodes this season. Will I have time to watch a show like this and still have time to write about it? With all those thoughts floating around in my head, I decided to watch it.
And what are my thoughts? I actually loved it. It's definitely floating near the top of the season for me and I can say that as the first episode was equivalent to 4 episodes of most other shows.
Somehow, I managed to steer clear of most of the trailers, so this is my real first time seeing the character designs of Hirayama Kanna. Honestly, they are very pretty. I'm not familiar with the manga, but the faces of the characters are extremely expressive, and the eyes are gorgeous and very unique. There are literal stars in some of the character's eyes that on paper feel ridiculous but it's extremely charming. The idols they want you to fawn over, like Ai, look irresistible in terms of design.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
The story itself is very hard to describe without just spoiling it in its entirety, but I think the story functions well due to the self-awareness of the toxicity that lies within the idol industry. Unlike shows like Heroines Run the Show, they don't try to convince us to like this industry or applaud the toxicity within idol culture.
There are a lot of lies, there are toxic fans, and people you like as idols might be forced to upkeep appearances, or they might not be telling their fans anything. How should fans react to lies? The show doesn't seem to tell us how; it simply shows how people might react to it. And I do appreciate that respect for the viewer's own mindset on idol culture.
The show is about two idol fans who are reincarnated as babies to the idol they adored. As babies, they are named Ruby and Aquamarine.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Is it weird? It's a bit weird, but this whole plot point was definitely the reason the show was 90 minutes for its first episode. It's a lot of things to set up, including introducing idol culture to those unfamiliar, introducing our characters in their past lives and their lives as babies, Ai's idol path, and Ruby and Aqua's own path. And I found it all very entertaining and became more engaged in the story as I watched. The hype for this show is very large, and at first, I wasn't completely buying it as it wasn't even really available to watch till yesterday. Yet, it already had a rating on MAL from the theatrical release in Japan, but I'm sold. So far this season, my top shows have been "Heavenly Delusion," "The Ancient Magus' Bride," "Skip and Loafers" and this is right up there with them. The one hour and thirty minutes never felt too long, and believe me, I watched this at a very inconvenient time for me. Right till the end the comedy hit me, the wholesome scenes hit me, and the emotional ones hit me. I had a great time.
We don't know who directed what part, as this is a movie-length production and there are multiple episode directors listed here, but the direction/storyboard took a noticeable improvement and I really enjoyed it. I'll leave off with some images from the 2nd half of the episode. There were some shots I wanted to include, but those ones are spoilers even at a glance.

god forbid a gay man have fun without the internet PTA up in his inbox. ‘his viewers will start repeating homophobic rhetoric!!’ that’s awesome actually because it’s a great chance to educate straight people on how to be a good ally and/or reveals who are the hidden homophobes in the community so they can be kicked out. because people don’t *become* homophobic in the same way that video games don’t cause violence: it was always there and they were just looking for an excuse.
‘even though he is joking (and he has the right to do so) it is language that’s objectively hurtful to me and others, his pov is no longer safe!!’ tubbo is not the streamer for you guys, and that’s ok. there is no one way to traverse the queer experience and tone policing a gay man who is on his own journey is not progressive, it’s projection. like, the fact that he thinks this whole thing is ‘bait’, ie trivial and unserious, speaks volumes to his own experience with homophobia (hint: probably much worse lol). also: no streamer povs are ‘safe’. these are strangers playing games for entertainment, and for your own health you should learn to keep them at arms length rather than putting them on a pedestal of your own design and being upset when they fall off of it.
anyway. genuinely just set up a recurring donation/volunteer for your local queer charity/advocacy network and i promise it will be more productive than what you’re doing rn.
Good to know you are passionate about this topic! The issue isn't that he makes this jokes sometimes, it's all the time.
We can't watch fit, pac, foolish, philza, bagi, etoile, or any other cc when he is present, bcs he jokes about this there too. I know tubbo is young, and I never expect him to be perfect, that's why i drafted the email, it was just to express how it made some parts of the comunity fell, and how it was beeing treated.
And i love the qsmp, i love the lore, i love the message of love behind it, if you read the email you would see it wasn't telling him to stop, but to be aware that right now, the jokes are becoming and pushing forward a pattern of behaviour that is worrying, and many of his fans are making jokes that are normalizing the issue, his straight friends are also doing it, wich i find it off putting as well.
My country doesn't have a queer comunity or group i could donate to, it's not safe to do so. Queer people are beaten to death on the streets, and I don't want to be exposed to the harm if i did start one.
I'm just sad i have to hear this type of stuff where i once thought it was safe to be. I'm happy most of the viewers don't experience hate speech or tone death jokes like this regurlarly, I'm glad no one told you it would be best to drop gay people on an island so they would die off, or hearing your ma say the wish harm on your type of people.
Unfortunlly reality isn't kind, and seeing the qsmp that really pushed the queer dynamics at the start, now has this in it.

'Daily Dose of Sunshine': Park Bo Young Returns to TV with a Heartwarming Netflix Drama

It being my Impulsive thoughts that led to this being written. Depending on how it gets taken by you, my precious audience, I might write more oneshots for them. But not a whole book, I don't have creative capacity to hold up two books at once-
Enjoy! :)
Word Count: approx. 3.630 Words

You were nothing but a middle tier – but rapidly growing – streamer and YouTuber when he was made aware of you via a clip from a fan that had watched your stream, tagging him on a Retweet after he jokingly wondered if there was just about any fucking talent left in his Generation – knowing very well that there was, enjoying the chaotic waves of people that had the joke fly higher over their head than an airplane.
In the Twitch Clip you were talking about your own "small" Video Project, and how – now that the last episode had come out – you wanted to try yourself with something bigger after the project was received very well by the YouTube Community, specifically the Analog Horror Community, but even by some horror movie critic Content Creators. Your series has incorporated the same style of an all-time classic under the Webseries genre, Marble Hornets, while back then also becoming the stepping stone of the modern ideas of the now newest, most hyped content trends on the site, like the Mandela Catalog or the Backrooms.
It was a well planned Q & A with something very special to you included at the end, your very first official video audition for movie studios to send to…
After all, you didn't have an agent like a real, established actor that helped you find your first opportunity. You had to do everything yourself.
The first thing Cameron absolutely fixated on with you, even before the Audition Video, was your uncanny talent for controlling your facial expressions, you could talk about the most gruesome things that inspired your series with a near constantly straight face – only deviating when reading chat and cracking a equally gorey joke, catching some first time viewers off guard – while boredly fiddling with a burned, ripped Bible. It was a original prop, a real Bible you bought on Ebay and "messed up" yourself to be used for the series, it turns out.
From the audio of a child crying that he was hungry and that nobody loved him to stomach twisting snuff, you went through the darkest corners the legal web could spit out to constantly stay at that right level of depravity only known to be done by humans, needed for not just writing the plot but also for staying in your very own character, who slowly was written to lose more and more of her sanity and humanity.
Method acting, he had noted, at her explanation of how she figured out her character's personality and her quirks. She started out as the victim and slowly the story turned the tables as her character began to act just as twisted, the events of her life, past and happening on camera, slowly turning her brain into 'Hot Fudge Brownie Batter', in Bailey's own words.
"Once, while practicing my lines during breakfast, obviously having to stay in character the whole time, I actually threw a bowl of perfectly well porridge against my newly painted walls…fucking hell, it was such a mess and i just...went about my day, leaving it lying on the ground..." and your Chat quickly went to ask basically 'Why the FUCK would you do THAT?!', mourning the bowl and the food she wasted as she chuckled before also chugging the burned prop somewhere to the side, a deep thump from the impact on the carpet of your floor.
"Why? Easy enough…Do any of you ever just…let your intrusive thoughts win, like taking said cereal bowl and instead of chugging it at the wall, you just throw it out the window full fuckin' force, perhaps hitting a pedestrian?! No, most, about 99%, of us fucking don't, a huge amount of people had or has these thoughts blip into their everyday thoughts once at least, sure, but most of the time they are absolutely the worst or at least most stupid shit our gray cells can produce! NOW…make all that into a character and you got half a Hannah already, near the end she's almost solely controlled by these abominable thoughts."
The description of your Character made him check out your web series, wanting to see just how well you actually put those thoughts and ideas into action, already intrigued after your Video Audition. You were absolutely brilliant at portraying a mentally…unwell…character, and that put Hannah's Personality and general acts lightly.
After that, he ended up watching your streams almost always after work or studying his lines for the next scenes for his own role. It was obvious that you didn't always talk about your career dreams, but it was brought up regularly while you played various games for almost hours sometimes. Even after your normal 8 hour shifts, sometimes even longer ones, you still managed to keep the chat entertained with your incredibly out-of-pocket comments – the clips of the best moments on your Youtube channel – for certain moments on stream.
He found out that way that you were a massive fucking nerd, not a nerd for Maths though, you say you're horrible at that. Horror Movies, anything with the Words 'Star Wars' and Horror Games. You couldn't stand scary shit, in reality, you had confessed multiple times by now, but it never stopped your morbid and natural curiosity. And absolutely a good chunk of all this was Masochistic, you hated and loved getting scared.
Then one day, a viewer of yours called him out. Cameron wasn't very well versed in Twitch, since he never really had time to get into watching streams, and just simply made an account with basically his name...nothing else. So when he once finally decided to make an incredibly humble donation of 300$, you know, the usual for a total normal, not even a simp, viewer that was probably between 13 and 25 years of age-
'Yo wtf, Cameron Monaghan??? Ian Gallagher???'
And you, the absolutely brightest crayon in the box, at first had brushed it off as either, a) just someone ALSO called Cameron or b) also, just like you, a fan of him and his small roles AND his role as Ian. After all, isn't he busy with the new Season of Shameless? Or maybe a Movie you don't know of yet?
No normal person that busy would waste their time on Tw-
'I think someone shared your recent Q&A on Twitter and tagged him in a Retweet??'
'Ya, was me.'
'Just a coinky dink trust me that's NOT the real Cam lol!'
'yeah...but what if…???'
'SUS MUCH…'
'Wait, I am getting major Inception vibes'
'Yeah wtf a celeb watching one of their fans…acting like a simp himself lol'
CamrMonaghan donated 10$:
'What the hell is a simp lol'
Yeah, this couldn't fucking be Cameron, you both are literally two years apart, you 18 and him 20, how can a Millennial NOT know what a Simp is in these times of the Internet. This is probably some poor itty bitty grandpa getting lost on some foreign App after their grandkid left their phone on the table to take a shit-
'BITCH LOOK AT HIS FUCKI TWITTER WTHA HELL??'
And you did.
Would you believe it, the same question but on Cameron Monaghan's Twitter…w-weird coinky dink indeed, JogaLungoFTW…
At that point you incredible hesitantly did something you always held yourself off from doing because you knew how weird it was to receive them from some fucking stranger. You tried sliding into his DMs.
You remembered all the times you thought about telling him privately that you were a huge fan of his current work in Shameless, Prom and – despite them being just one-off stunts, his roles in your favorite crime shows, The Mentalist and Law & Order. But unlike your Character, you didn't let your own regular not intrusive but instead impulsive thoughts win...not always at least, you yourself always felt absurdly uncomfortable at some fans with their walls of text of weird confessions. You really didn't want to stoop to their level of weirdness, your methods to get into Character sometimes already had gotten you to question your sanity more than once on their own alone.
So it all started very simple as you gave one last glance towards the Webcam on your main monitor and the chat before looking back down to your phone, beginning to type, only the classic typing sound of your Android heard.
Bailey: I don't want to sound weird, trust me I know the feeling, but…are you watching my Stream right now?
Not even a minute later...
Cameron: Yes :) Didn't think they would realize that soon tbh…
Bailey: The Chat has more keen eyes than us, unwritten streaming rule.
And you hit it off quite well after the short introduction, soon having switched from the unconventional and difficult way to write in the DMs of each other to an actual Messenger service – which took a while to find one, you using Android and him Apple.
But in all that time, you not once let it slip that you were such a big fan of his, hoping he didn't catch the one viewer's message in Chat those days before.
You wanted a friendship that didn't build on each other's work and success, knowing the risk of the other thinking they might be getting used for a career lift. Especially after he mentioned having seen your Video Audition. After that, you watched your words even better, trying to talk about your dream as few times as possible without it looking odd.
How hard it was to not squeal like your little past self getting the main role in theater class when he, Cameron Monaghan himself, told you on your very first actual Phone Call together how natural your type of acting was to him and that he really believed in you for hopefully getting cast for an actual show or movie in the near future.
Oh it was the hardest challenge by now, using every inch of self control you had in you.
And months passed. You had actually become really good friends with the ginger, to a point you Video called regularly and you made it your job to teach him how some internet things he somehow never learned worked, including getting him a Discord Profile and how Twitch actually fucking worked – for example, a more unique Username that didn't blow his cover the moment he was getting active in a chat. Everything had been going on like always even with his sudden addition to your small, very small, rooster of close friends. Unfortunately you never heard back from any of the studios you send your Audition to.
But it was nothing to lose hope over, he told you. And he should know best of course, as he is literally right in the middle of the acting business…
Until one day he made a completely new request.
"Hey, you think I can join you during your next stream?"
While it was odd at that point of time, he had been very much alright with staying a regular spectator in the chat, usually communicating with you via the messenger or Discord DMs, laughing at your growing and very entertaining misery of getting jumpscared or killed in the games you played, you agreed without a second thought needing to be wasted on it.
That Friday morning, it was a normal stream you planned, playing some chill Lego Star Wars instead of the next potential candidate for a heart attack, Cameron listening with the patience of an angel as you ranted and vented about probably your favorite fucking franchise. Especially about the various news getting leaked about 'The Force Awakens' , how excited and through the roof you were that the Story was finally getting continued, how you wished other older Star Wars Fans weren't literally gatekeeping Star Wars from fucking Star Wars itself…
And he just sat through everything, worrying you that he was probably bored beyond belief until he suddenly began asking his own question regarding the franchise with deep, serious interest. He was just listening to get a grasp on your overall opinion...
But then the door bell had rung, a stupid habit of your local mail service, forcing a very annoyed eye roll and sigh from you as it interrupted your by then very intense discussion about the Jedi and their views. Could've almost made that into a Star Wars Podcast, to be fair.
The useless advertising papers were thrown aside and onto your bed the moment you came back through your single room apartment's front door, kicking the door behind you back shut as you shuffled through the various other letters. Sitting back down, you just came to the last one, stopping quite confused at the address it came from. It wasn't a German Address…
"Is everything alright, Bailey?" You didn't hear the suspension in his question, like he knew what it might be as you silently yet very urgently ripped the suspicious letter open. The other letters and the now empty envelope had been haphazardly thrown behind you on the floor as you unfolded the small stack of papers.
It was from a studio, they received your audition and you had left a positive impression with your range of uniqueness and your talent for adapting in highly emotional scenes.
But it was a studio you never even wrote to. Because they seemed so far from your league – it can't even be called one, you're that low – that you didn't even dare thinking about sending it to them…mother fucking Warner Bros and DC Entertainment.
How…how had they gotten their hands on your lowly Video Audition?!
"I...I hope you like your gift?"
Your reaction wasn't the best at first, wide eyes snapping up to the camera he and everyone else watched you through, even the chat silent as they awaited your answer. You ended the stream abruptly, didn't answer the worried wave of questions on Twitter from your fans and viewers that had witnessed everything while Cameron desperately tried to get you to respond to his calls and even more worried texts, but with no result.
This had been exactly what you tried to avoid like the plague with this unlikely friendship! You never wanted this kind of help, it wasn't your own success…you would've never gotten this chance if you hadn't become friends with him, this felt so...wrong.
Two weeks after that stream, you sat at your Desk, so close to finishing writing back to the one responsible for contacting future Talents at the Studio, that you unfortunately wouldn't be able to accept their offer due to..."personal reasons"…when once again your doorbell rang. But it was the middle of the night.
Being as always again the brightest crayon in the box, you went to press the button to open the front door two floors down, equipped with your painted aluminum bat – also a past, and well beloved prop from your web series – as you cautiously opened the door when you heard them knock against your own actual front door.
Who it was…you would've never expected in a million years.
"C-cameron...?" And you nearly passed out, only his quick reaction stopping you from hitting your head against the hard wooden door frame before he helped you back inside, holding you by your shoulders. No matter how close you got as friends via chat or phone calls by now…seeing your literal celeb crush – that felt like so much more once you got to know him – in your shabby apartment's hallway???
"Careful, can't have you falling for me a second time, can we now?"
Turns out he did know about your at first innocent crush all along, which was only kept at bay due to you knowing from terrifying personal experiences how toxic parasocial thoughts can become if you're not careful with how you interact with fans, two actually psychotic stalkers later very stern about that subject with your own fans.
But Cam and you knew each other more than that now…he was no longer just an unreachable Celebrity on a screen. So with that line crossed by both of you, your crush grew to more as well, something you made 100% sure to hide from everyone that knew you, personally and not.
"Why…why are you here?! Don't you have to shoot more scenes for Shameless?" You had asked, initial shock keeping your questions surprisingly grounded as your heart began to hammer against your chest…he was sitting directly next to you…on your squeaky old bed!
And he answered with a small frown, "I was way too worried for you to concentrate on them, even the director and Noel noticed…you became such a staple to my breaks – if i couldn't watch at least a recap of what i missed with my usual sandwich, i would've been grumpy all day – evenings and sleepless nights, not hearing your voice complain about your boring day job at this warehouse, your horrible grandmother…I needed to know that you're alright.". Something that caused you to almost shut down fully then…he worried so badly for you that he couldn't sleep right. You fucking made your friend worry with your stupid, egoistic behavior, you really did everything wrong.
You really ruin everything, just like she always tells you…
"I'm sorry, Cam. I just, I…I never wanted to start my career this way, by the help of someone else. What…what would others think if they–" "You're already an actor, you're not just a "content creator", as they call it, you should know yourself that you only really lost once you let their criticism get into your head and poison your thoughts. Don't let such a once in a life time opportunity get ruined because of what potentially could get said."
And he was right...painfully right. You couldn't let them win before they even started. Before you were able to get started. You didn't show your full potential yet, so why should they all try to bash your head in...
*
You apologized profusely him that night, for your incredible stubbornness and stupidity, for him ending up all they way in some stupid suburb of Munich just because you refused to act your fucking age for at least once in your life.
That he ended up with someone as useless like you as a sad excuse of a frien-
Your list of apologies were cut very short that night, the unfinished email forgotten on your desktop as it went into sleep mode and he shut you up with his lips on yours.
"Fuck, don't friendzone me again, please, Bailey…"
The night went past you like a blur, you only remembered the articles of clothes that suddenly began reducing themselves onto your beige carpet floor – joining other objects you threw onto it over the course of the day – hasty and needy hands grabbing, scratching and latching onto pale skin, thin layers of sweat on you and obscene noises – much louder than allowed in Germany after 10PM – in the entire apartment, a sure guarantee to wake some people up.
It had built up in both of you with every chat you shared, every call he or you initiated and especially the video calls he always wanted so badly. He said he really liked watching your expressions change, sometimes abruptly and sometimes so subtly and smooth when you were truly passionate about a subject…you could've caught onto him so much sooner if had just once watched HIM closer, how his own expressions changed. You were good at reading them, ever since you were a child, but it set out entirely with him.
Because of that you never had, too concentrated and busy with hiding your own infatuation at those times. Keeping yourself from falling asleep to his warm, calming voice when the timezones ended up with you calling him in the middle of the night while he just got back from his lunch break and he had finished a clip from your latest stream, dying to ask questions…
After that…very special night…it didn't take long for him to convince you to take probably the biggest step in your life yet.
Moving to America, permanently.
He had told you about everything, there would be no stones left in your path by the time you're really ready after he talked to the Studio and his own Agents. They would even be ready to sponsor your Green Card application if you really had been ready to accept their offer, one you didn't know for what show or movie it was until you had stood on the set with your script. Thankfully Warner Bros. doesn't produce Porn...
"They could with you as their model– owww, dammit Bailey…" he had mumbled with a cheeky grin next to you on the plane – cursing and whining out under his breath as you lightly smacked him upside the head for the comment – having come back down to Germany just to help with your few things once the date was set in stone, just two months later. The application had been sent already a day after he convinced you, helping you to pull through with it.
"Did you tell your parents by the way?" Oops.
At least you finally gave your grandmother a real good reason to despise you. But your mum didn't deserve your sudden decisions…so you had called her as soon as you reached New York's airport. And boy did she yell your ear off – you could almost call yourself Van Gogh – but not without telling you over and over again to please be careful with whatever your plans were, you were an adult with her own mind and thoughts, but she would never stop worrying for you. In the end, she always wanted the best for you and in her eyes that was you following your dreams. She had started to support you and your web series dreams when no one else in your family had your back – they didn't budge even when the first views brought in the real good bread – she said she would now as well.
She believed in you and was happy for your incredible opportunity, that had been the main points she tried to bring across in her motherly almost 10 minute long rant.
"I need…to meet her…someday, she sounds really nice..." Cameron had only left for a breathless response when he heard you finally finish your call, coming to help him as he fought with the luggage cases you two had to drag all the way from Germany to the US. The important and much bigger stuff was getting collected together by a full-service international moving company, the time it took to ship them to the LA Address Cameron provided you with while placing the "order", so you would be separated from your Main Computer and Desktop.
But you still had your Gaming Laptop, constantly with you with the rest of your stuff in your scary big backpack, keeping yourself mobile even in the first weeks or so.
On your way to his own currently rented apartment, something he sheepishly told you mid-flight – that he forgot to talk to the Housing Agents like planned and gave you his own main Address for the Moving Company – he grew more anxious with every silent minute that passed. While you weren't a fan of now also having to occupy his own home after he already got you this job opportunity and everything else, you wanted to freak out on the inside, most preferably have a secluded, isolated five minute temper tantrum on the plane's toilet stall, but he gave you the window seat, boxing you in...
You would be living under the same roof as the Cameron Monaghan! The dream of any fan…but you had to play it cool. You two are not strangers, you have been friends for months now! This is not just a celebrity and a stupid fan that somehow found themselves in this situation, it's two friends that…kinda have been pining for each other without the other knowing and ended up fucking bare back for three whole hours from their equally high frustration.
Not really just friends anymore, right? This was slowly becoming much more and neither of you knew how or wanted to stop that development of your relationship. Something made obvious when you both fell asleep and woke up, somehow, on his lap, snuggling into his chest and him about to start drooling onto your head, only bothered by a flight attendant when she woke you two up, since the plane was about to land.
Now you're in the present, two months later…
"Cammmm, sooner or later your phone is going to fall off the dinning table! They don't seem to be giving up, just take the call!" You shout upstairs, cupping your hands around your mouth to try and be louder so he couldn't say he didn't hear you again. A few moments later the ginger popped his head over the railing, leaning onto it with his arms. He was sweaty all over from his workout routine, a sight to behold and it took all the willpower a girl your minuscule size could conjure up to not beg him to fuck you silly right where you stood, so the bottom of the stairs.
"I don't wanna talk to that asshole, I already told him what I thought about their stupid idea, I wouldn’t even watch that in the theater." His – and now your – agent was currently trying to talk Cameron into a new movie deal, filming planned for next year, but from the things he told you, it apparently had so many requests that were against his – not even that outrageous – morals as an actor that he immediately refused when he first heard of it, not doing it unless the writers changed at least some of the details that deterred him. And of course the writers of the script were not exactly happy to hear that, which you sorta understand from their perspective.
Writing a good, smooth script that didn't sound like it could be used as toilet paper when it was tried to be brought to camera was hard enough…but having to possibly rewrite the whole thing because changing multiple scenes would fuck over the whole flow and plot? You went through that with your web series' script TWICE because of YouTube's disgusting Demonetization Kink and your Patreon had not yet given the needed monthly revenue to depend on that alone.
"Can you at least throw me my headphones from the Bedroom? I need to tone that shit out while cooking or we got a pasta-disaster at hand…" He quickly nods, disappearing for a minute before returning and letting your mint green headphones drop over the railing and into your waiting hands. "Thanks! And don't overdo yourself again today, please. Last time was bad enough."
Two weeks ago Cam for whatever reason didn't feel tired as quickly as usual and kept going and suddenly for much longer, from his memory, exhaustion caught up with him in not even a minute and he just barely got caught by you as you heard his shout when he collapsed.
"I won't, I promise. Just half an hour anymore anyways, then I'll take a quick shower and help with cooking!"
'I'm long done with cooking when you finally get out of the shower, you joker…literally.'
If anything, you would probably be quick enough to still jump under the shower along with him…and then get to help with washing his sore, fit body, hmmmm~
Fuck, what exactly did you do to deserve this amazing life? You were nothing special and yet…you're probably one of the few people that actually had all their wildest dreams fulfilled.
An actual, official acting career, your first role under one of the most famous studios there is and in a big budget show at that.
A beautiful and caring roommate that turned more and more into your boyfriend with every kiss, sensual touch and of course sharing a bed, never ending without one on top of the other…
A nice house shared with said "roommate"
Money far beyond your average-Joe needs, just for SIGNING the contract for the first season…
Now you just had to find some local friends to hang out with, your others all scattered across the globe, most of them left back in Germany.
Well, two of them did live in the States…you should ask if they want to meet up, for the very first time too. You had always talked about it, but never had the time, especially since you were busy with your series so you had to stay in Germany for filming everything.
When you had them as well, knowing you wouldn't be almost alone in this country, next to Cam and his own friends that would hopefully eventually become yours as well, everything would REALLY have become perfect…

BTOB - Them And Reader Being Judges In Produce X 101
A/N: got this requested on my other blog, but since I'm not too active on that one anymore I'll post it here!
And yes, this is an OT7 post. Hope you enjoy!
----------------------------------------------
Eunkwang
Tumblr media
Is absolutely thrilled that he gets to work beside his partner.
Although everyone is already aware of your relationship, he doesn't even try to be discreet about it. It's actually pretty cute.
Both of you are known as the "parents" of the show, because you're both some of the oldest and you like to look out for the trainees.
You're both pretty good at giving them advice, but sometimes when Eunkwang senses that the trainees are way too tense, he tries to cheer them up by trying to be funny.
"-and if you end up falling on stage, just play dead and stay there until the music stops. Like this-"
You playfully scold him while the trainees are laughing at the way he is giving a demonstration. "Yah- why would you tell them that?"
When It's time for the judges to evaluate the performances, he of course is being his usual self -he is known to be quite the mood maker.
When It's finally your turn to speak and give criticism, he always takes the opportunity to make you flustered, with comments like, "Y/N looks so pretty today, don't they?" or "Everyone please give Y/N a round of applause, they have been working very hard lately."
You also don't fail to amuse him with your own comments, and when you say something funny his loud laugh is the one thing heard all around the room.
Everyone loves your interactions -the trainees, the host, the other judges, the viewers- and they're always one of the things that people look forward to watching on the next episode.
Minhyuk
Tumblr media
You have always been a huge fan of BTOB, and it just so happens that Minhyuk is your favorite.
That's why when you get the opportunity to work alongside him as a judge in Produce X 101, you are ecstatic.
A lot of people working on the show know this, so of course they have to put you on the spot right in front of him.
All you do is laugh and cover your face in embarrassment as soon as the host asks you about your love for Minhyuk, who just so happens to be sitting right next you.
When you finally gain the courage to confirm it, the host turns to Minhyuk in order to ask him how he feels about this.
"I'm very honored, because I'm a fan of them, too." He replies on his microphone, sending the audience into a frenzy.
You almost faint right on the spot.
From that point forward, both of you seem to grow closer, and you feel much more comfortable being around him.
You're able to joke with him, elaborate on things he points out, and you even begin to take selcas together.
It's really no surprise to anyone when, months after the show has finished airing, an article about you two being in a relationship comes out.
You both confirm It’s true.
Changsub
Tumblr media
Has the biggest crush on you and it shows.
He is your #1 fanboy, even if he's been in the industry for much longer than you have.
Whenever the judges are introduced, and It's your turn to be called, you will either see him standing up and clapping dramatically, or randomly taking out a sign with your name on it.
"Y/N, notice me!" He will shout, despite the fact that you're only like two seats away from him.
His facial expressions speak for themselves, as well.
Changsub is always mesmerized by every single thing that you say or do.
When you have to do a special performance for the show's finale, he, just like everyone else, is blown away by your charisma and vocals on stage.
He is also quite the gentleman.
He would often pull a chair out for you, open doors for you, etc.
Frankly put, he is whipped.
Hyunsik
Tumblr media
He gets very shy around you.
It's because he likes you, a lot, and is excited to start working with you.
You feel the exact same way.
This guy would laugh at everything you do.
Sometimes, he would even join in on whatever you're doing. It makes you feel giddy on the inside.
When asked about you, he would speak very fondly of you. He really does admire you.
You also admire him, and you wish that you could tell him how much.
Neither of you would be brave enough to make the first move, and it would drive everyone crazy.
Especially the other BTOB members.
He would also be staring at you whenever you weren't looking, but it wouldn't be in a creepy way. It's because he thinks you're beautiful, and he can't help himself.
You wouldn't notice, but the people on Twitter definitely would.
Peniel
Tumblr media
He has known you for a long time, so he's glad that both of you get to be judges on the show.
Is very comfortable talking to you, and neither of you feel the need to speak properly to each other; It's just something you're not used to with him.
Both of you know English, so when you want to mess around and make the other judges frustrated you just have full on Enlgish conversations in front of them.
It's also a good thing that you're both very close, because it makes it easier to work together once you're both assigned to write and produce one of the songs for the show's finale.
You guys are at his studio for hours. You have to force yourselves to stop at some point, in order to finally eat a proper meal.
It's probably the most time you've spent together in a single day, ever.
At one point, you end up falling asleep on Peniel's shoulder. He does nothing to pull away, probably because of the fact that he's also sleeping.
Although it gets tough, you guys manage to come up with the perfect song, and you're both so proud.
You feel even prouder when the finale comes around and you see the performance. You and Peniel were wiping imaginary tears away, to let the trainees know how much you loved it. Barely any criticism was necessary.
It made you realize how much you really loved working with Peniel, and you were looking forward to doing so again, soon.
Ilhoon
Tumblr media
You and Ilhoon meet for the very first time on the show, and you hit it off from the very beginning.
You like how he knows so much about music, and how he is so good at noticing every single detail in the performances.
He can be a bit strict with the trainees sometimes, but It’s not in a malicious way. He really does care about them.
He likes your brightness, your ability to make everyone smile so easily.
You both talk the most when there's a commercial break going on; It's mostly small talk about the trainees that have caught your attention the most, but it soon develops into something bigger.
You find out that Ilhoon is actually really funny as the show progresses, and that he can get very, very flirty as well.
With you, specifically.
It's not like you mind it, but sometimes you're afraid of mistaking his flirting with his humor, so you try to be as casual about it as possible.
You cannot deny that he makes you nervous, though. In a good way.
Sungjae
Tumblr media
Professionalism? He has not heard about such thing when it comes to teasing you on the show.
It's a constant playful bickering between the two of you, but fans of the show find it very entertaining.
They also don't miss the chance to point out the fact that you two are unaware of how much you like each other.
Even your friends talk about it in the group chat, but you deny it like your life depends on it.
Sungjae, on the other hand, loves to feed into it.
"Yes, I do think that Y/N likes me, and that's why they can't get enough of me." He would say once the host asked him if what people are saying is true.
But you wouldn't keep quiet. "I think It's Sungjae who likes me, because he keeps teasing me, and he is probably too afraid to admit it."
Everyone would laugh at Sungjae's look of defeat, including yourself.
However, it does seem to work in your favor, because once the show ends Sungjae ends up asking you out (but he swears It’s not a date).
You surprise yourself by accepting his invitation.

Continue voting on IMDb guys
Let’s make 15.20 the worse rated episode of the show, go guys, you have every right to be angry and express it the way you can. It’s only fair after what they did to us, they queerbaited us for years, milked the fans, fooled us with Cas confession into thinking that they will make Destiel full canon just to gain more views for the last two episodes and they got what they wanted, thousands of old Destiel shippers came back and even more of new shippers joined and watched.
We must inform potential new viewers about all of this, they must be aware of this wetwork’s homophobia and queerbaiting, racism and sexism and how they use every dishonest and dirty tactic possible to make money including catering to incest apologists.
December 1 update:
Ok now, let’s downvote the shit out of supernatural too:
Here X
Give spn one star, one star only, 2 and 3 stars will not change anything, we need to send a message to the network.
Don’t forget that bronlies have no problem giving 10 ⭐️ to 19 and 20 and that for years they boycotted and rated 1 star EVERY SINGLE EPISODE INCLUDING CAS.
Listen, I know you love the show, I do too, downvoting the show is just a way to show them that we are really angry and that we are not giving up, we can’t leave spn ratings as high as it is (8.4 ⭐️ ) with the way the network insulted all of us: our faves, both the characters and the actors ( Cas, Dean , misha, Jensen, Eileen, Shoshannah) lgbtq fans, women, minorities etc...
Give spn one star only, 2 and 3 ⭐️ will not change anything, bronlies are giving 10 ⭐️ , if you we need to send a message to the network , you need to vote mo more than 1 ⭐️ .
Also please please write reviews, it doesn’t need to be a long review , just some lines to express your anger and disappointment about the ending, tell people about the homophobia and queerbaiting, the racism and sexism and all issues.
We need them to know that we will keep fighting them and ruining their reputation, this is just a step but it’s really important, If there is even a thin possibility of a movie, then you better make your voice heard so we can get things fixed, incesties kept bullying them for years and they got more than they ever hoped for, we were too nice and we got nothing, we only got disrespect and ingratitude, STOP BEING NICE.
It’s our turn to so the same, we have nothing to lose and it takes way less than making a gifset or an edit.
We’ve spent years promoting this show, it’s only natural to take our revenge for the ending that was a literal F* you to all of us.
It’s very cathartic guys,do it you will feel much better believe me and please please share in all your social media accounts
Come on guys, It’s not difficult to create mails , they will serve you anyway for other purposes , the registration in IMDb takes 5 seconds
Once you are registered, vote :
- 1 ⭐️ to spn
- 1 ⭐️ to 15.20
- 1 ⭐️ to 15.19
- 10 ⭐️ to 15.18 Despair , the truth, our episode.
- 1 ⭐️ to The long road home they removed it from IMDb probably because of the bad rating and reviews 😄)
- 10 ⭐️ to bloodlines (because this is the only episode less rated than 15.20, and it deserves much better than this sad excuse of finale)
And continue speaking up, on all platforms and social media, don’t let anyone convince you to shut up ,it’s our right to be angry and make them pay the price for fooling us and disrespecting us for years .
December 12 very important update, please read :
Well, the good news is we managed to up “bloodlines” ratings to 5.9 ⭐️
The bad news is you stopped voting while bronlies keep voting massively and writing very complimentary reviews on 15.19 , 15.20 and Supernatural and saying that we are just crazy shippers who are mad because our ship is not canon, not only that they are also downvoting our episode 15.18 and giving it only 1 ⭐️.
I don’t know about you but it infuriates me to see them wining everything because of our fandom‘ laziness, and because they are united and motivated while we are lazy and divided.
The second thing even more important is the fact that IMDb are probably falsifying ratings , look at these screencaps:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
As you can see the arithmetic mean is much lower than the episodes’ official rating, the arithmetic is simply the actual ratings when you calculate the number of ratings by users , I verified, and yes 15.19 ratings is only 6.4 ⭐️ while 15.20 is definitely the worse spn episode rated with only 5.2 ⭐️ which is much lower than 5.9 ⭐️’ bloodlines
IMDb explains this troubling big difference by using a method that they call weighted ratings, they don’t explain how their method works, they simply say, I quote :
“we do not disclose the exact method used to generate the rating”
Wow, how convenient! But while they use their weighted method for 15.18 and 15.19 which ups the ratings by 1.8 stars for 15.19 and 1.4 stars for 15.20, they, Surprisingly 🙄, don’t use it for our episode 15.18, look
Tumblr media
You notice that the arithmetic and the weighted average are exactly the same, what happened to your weighted bullshit, IMDb ?
Yeah, they are playing dirty, for some reason 💰 they don’t wanna upset cw, that’s why we need to keep voting, but not only, we need to leave reviews while also pointing out that WE KNOW they are manipulating ratings, they already deleted some reviews saying that, which proves they are guilty and don’t want people to know it , but we were only 3 or 4 users saying this, they can’t continue deleting if we expose them massively, they will be forced to give up and give the true ratings.
Don’t give up guys, this is more important than making gifsets and posts about the script’ crumbs that are being leaked, most probably by the cw to keep us busy because while we’re busy talking about the script we are not exposing their homophobia and queerbaiting .
We can make better use of our spare time than to focus on two sentences on a leaked script, we can heave fun of course but don’t focus on that too much, it’s only giving them publicity and judging by WB’ tweet, they are really happy with it, and them being happy is the contrary of what we want to achieve, no?
If you really wanna punish them and expose their homophobia and maybe force them to rethink their finale, do this, for now, because it’s just a start, but let’s win this and we will see what we can do after that:
Please take one hour of your time daily to make an email(s) and vote, and leave reviews, it’s worth it believe me.
Latest ratings, December 16:
Well, bronli*es are upvoting the shit of 15.19 and 15.20 , they already managed to gain a 0.1 ⭐️ for each episode in two days.
Here look 👇
Tumblr media Tumblr media
You know what to do if you want carry on to remain (at least) the second worst episode 🤷‍♀️
